Title: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: NorwegianNoob on May 02, 2018, 08:11:11 PM Hello
This is my story with fortunejack and why is under investigation by the police. I got hacked the 2018-04-29 19:18:40 https://blockchain.info/address/17uqd7epvrYBxV6uES5sEYJ3JKXacgZERY This transaction got out from my Binance account, you can see it is 25BTC When this happened Binance went down from my pc https://gyazo.com/8c1e5c9f2621b0e243dbeaa066c2357d I also got the same problem with outlook I have a suspicion that it could be https://fortunejack.com/ That could have given me the virus from there support chat My suspection is builded on the fact that on 10.04. the support shared a link: https://gyazo.com/91c904d91bd2f8ed6519fb5ac3d96b05 https://gyazo.com/32af052983afae9863311219b60b1196 Link given to me by the support Can contain virus DO NOT OPEN: http://www.xn--screensht-sl7d.net/i/j5DkgThk.jpg I pressed the link and it took me to a picture and when I pressed zoom it auto dowloaded a file to my computer. After I runned Malware antivirus that did not detect anything and I did not think more about it. In later times I have found an try to log into my gmail account on the 11.04 that is not from me: I have a suspicion that the virus was then live on my computer and they had my password. I have found an entery into my mail by athis IP 46.21.147.117 that seems to be a proxy https://gyazo.com/ed8c6d15aef0548f0e33a69f24c4db0c I didn’t have my Binance account verified so big withdrawls was not possible at the time and it seems like they have waited for it to get verified before doing the move. When confronting the support on discord with this, they just banned me. I have tried to send them emails aswell, but they don't replay to me anymore. I have still 1.6BTC locked at there site for nearly 1 month: https://gyazo.com/4a19fc274083c7dbb10d8df6d0fb9056 I have been in contact with the police and they are going through all the files on my pc to confirming I got a virus downloaded from this link. If that is the case I am going to sue Fortunejack. I will advice EVERYONE to stay off this site I have more evidence that I can't share at this time, updates will come shortly Title: Re: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: game-protect on May 02, 2018, 08:28:36 PM Why does FortuneJack deny your 1.6 BTC withdrawal?
Title: Re: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: NorwegianNoob on May 02, 2018, 08:39:26 PM Why does FortuneJack deny your 1.6 BTC withdrawal? https://gyazo.com/b39f67d808dc3487690a73a9e9c8c608 So called "security reasons" they are not giving out any information about what security reasons they have. And supposedly they can close the ticket before actually doing anything with it. Title: Re: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: TMAN on May 02, 2018, 11:05:15 PM You sound a little bit crazy.
Would you please post the crime reference number and country, I will then highlight this thread to FJ so they can help the police immediately clear the brands name. Title: Re: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: iluvbitcoins on May 03, 2018, 01:04:44 AM So, support sent you a screenshot?
The image was downloaded and you think it was a virus? I mean, you can send the file for analysis to some of the legit Antivirus labs and see what's up when they get back to you. They must hold your account for investigation but banning is not a good move. It makes suspicious. Title: Re: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: HCP on May 03, 2018, 08:10:56 AM Seems like that "screenshot" website is actually one of those Unicode fake domain "scams"... If you look REALLY closely at the screenshot of the chat window (https://gyazo.com/32af052983afae9863311219b60b1196) you can see the "o" in screenshot actually has a "dot" underneath it:

Either way your noise is not likely to convince people here. Title: Re: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: HCP on May 03, 2018, 12:35:48 PM Honestly, I'm beginning to wonder if NorweiganNoob got phished? Fake FJ site, with fake "live chat" providing the malware... ???
In any case, their claim that the malware was on the FJ site is obviously incorrect, as the malware is hosted elsewhere. Can't comment on the legitimacy of any of the other claims... As we're not privy to the server/chat logs and IPs etc... Curious as to what jurisdiction they're in where the police actually care about imaginery internet money? ??? Either way your noise is not likely to convince people here. Knowing the individual ("NorwegianNoob") posting here, that is not the case of being neither a merchant or hacker, and I will vouch accordingly. This individual has a proper and positive reputation in the MasterNode Discord community as do I. That said, most proper support/ITSM systems do have and keep records of support incidents in full. So if the FortuneJack staff does not want to actually review said records/case accordingly and just spew FUD with no backing, that just blemishes FortuneJack as an entity as a whole. For reference, I am not a customer/vendor of FortuneJack. I am just a crypto/MasterNode investor as well as tech minded type (reference my past posting on "StarMiner" from when Scrypt ASICs first came to light) who is a Linux and Open Source enthusiast. FWIW. Title: Re: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: LinuxETC on May 03, 2018, 03:06:33 PM Seems like that "screenshot" website is actually one of those Unicode fake domain "scams"... Kudos! 8) @FortuneJack staff: Care to explain such perhaps in all fairness since it seems your LiveChat was functioning? If it was "offline" (I believe noted elsewhere), then care to explain how your network and infrastructure was compromised including the LiveChat for a third party to perform such? Then again, we can also let proper law enforcement agency forensics do their job as well. 8) Title: Re: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: Hhampuz on May 03, 2018, 03:18:21 PM First of all. FJ has a signature campaign here on the forum, this does not mean that people that have the FJ Avatar or Signature work directly at fortunjack, we help out marketing it.
@OP, when you reached out to me as soon as this had happened I quickly went to FJ and could see that there were no options to open the livechat. Not to mention that prior to this there had been an announcement in discord that live chat was down (You were there, you should of seen it). I really can't take this seriously as of now as I can't even confirm that the screenshot you've shared of the live support is legit. Does FortuneJack deny that this chat session happened with them? FortuneJack is obligated by Curacao licensing requirement laws to store the communication with players. If they hold your withdrawal since over a month, they have to give you the reason. One month is enough to make a security check. When confronting the support on discord with this, they just banned me. I have tried to send them emails aswell, but they don't replay to me anymore. Title: Re: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: game-protect on May 04, 2018, 01:39:05 PM Only because you did not see a chat window (if true), does not mean there was no chat window available for others. FortuneJack needs to state that the chat window was not working in general durimg the time NN made the screenshot. If the chat window did not work during that time, do you know why chat was disabled? I asked my contact at FJ and he confirmed that the live support had been taken down and had been down for a day or so (if not more) up until I asked. The chat protocol has to be stored based on Curacao laws and if FortuneJack lied about chat was not available for one day and we can disprove it, then FortuneJack will have a huge problem! Can you also ask them why the chat was down for one day? Did players of FortuneJack complain in your bitcointalk thread that the chat is down? Please give me the time frame when the chat was generally not available? Title: Re: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: FortuneJack on May 04, 2018, 03:52:49 PM Hi Dear BitcoinTalk Community,
I am here to clear things out about the recent irrelevant accusations and another dirty PR campaign against our brand. Before moving to the statement, I would like to state that this is our last post and statement about this topic as we do not consider speculations to be at any level legit and we can not waste our time on a fraudulent antagonist, because we have a fair business here to run and new website to launch soon. We have a valid reason to believe that the user NorwegianNoob is just another alias for a Teddy and FortuneJackScam (accounts opened on BTC TALK, on our Website, Twitter, Skype and Askgamblers share the usernames and contents), The hacker who tried to attack our server about a month ago and tried to blackmail FJ management here on BTC TALK and in Conversation in Skype as well. The attack was failed and handled well by our security team. In fact, not a single relevant file or information hacker was claiming to own released after the timer, and we see some familiar faces here in this thread, who were waiting for the promised by the hacker release. Apparently, the hacker decided to go for dirty PR Campaign after failing to steal valuable or relevant data from our servers. NOT A PLAYER OR THEIR WALLETS WERE AFFECTED DURING THIS ATTACK. As a security precaution, we have acted fastly during the attack and notified all our users to change passwords and set 2FA. Also, as an extra security action, we have temporarily disabled all the communication channels to users, including live chat and made a statement that this is temporary security precaution and we will do everything to keep our player's funds safe. And we are proud to have acted so fastly, adequately and set the player safety as the highest priority. We can not say if the hacker has some legal actions going on at the request to provide reference number of the case was left without any response. We can't really understand what we are accused, to be honest, to use malware to steal funds from hackers personal account? Your Binance transaction history is not hard to track, and if a verified user has withdrawn funds from the wallet, you can easily open the legal case and track down the user fyi. Talking about the legal case, we, in fact, have a criminal law case running right now by the cybersecurity department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Georgia, who has already contacted various European, Asian and American sources including international police networks and financial markets. And yes, we can provide the reference number of the case #009120418002. Please, be reasonable and close the topic by yourself. I also would like to ask BTC TALK administration not to let user speculate with the Reputation of the Forum (Which we totally respect) and do not allow a blackmailer to use it for ransomware as he already tried to do. https://i.imgur.com/sM9Jvhi.png With sincere respect to BTC TALK COMMUNITY, David. I am not a hacker and not trying to do a dirty PR-campaign, but when you guys are not replying how else can I get your attention? Why should a hacker come to forum and complain? You are telling me that the your live chat is down when I talked to you 2 days ago ? https://gyazo.com/4f35243a62a90c920d231d3c4a7a05c9 At least you guys keep your customers info private not sharing private user info to the public referring to posting my name. In my defence, the support ticket was sent after "support team" turned their back at me and not wanting to address the issue that i was hacked on their website and were keeping the withdrawal of funds I would have be willing to provide the case number from the Norwegian police if you guys had contacted me. I am one of your regular customer and you playing dirty by accusing me of being a hacker!? what a great support you have there. and you still have my funds.. funds that i won fair and square on your platform. I was under the impression you need 2FA on binance to make a withdraw of any amount?
2). Have you reached out to Binance about this or are you only going after FJ, if the latter, why? Binance should easily be able to help you out with their logs if they can see that someone logged on and verified(?) the account. 3). Do you have any proof that you actually had 25BTC on Binance, Can't you share the withdraw history from Binance in a screenshot here? EDIT: Are you this Tedy? Exactly, nothing was really released and it seemed to have been someone tried to blackmail FJ by saying they had sensitive information and unless they paid up this information/database would be released to the public.. The day did come and go and FJ didn't pay up and no information got out. Title: Re: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: NorwegianNoob on May 04, 2018, 04:54:20 PM 1). Personally I ain't buying it as you haven't posted your whole conversation with the support. I am curious to what is your reply to the Support Staff after you have viewed and auto download a file, because if that thing happens to me I will immediately ask the support on what is happening or if I done something wrog which I think you have not done.
Also why are you blocking some parts of your screenshots with tabs? Are you trying to hide something that you don't want us to see? With your tabs you have blocked the transaction ID, and your username for some parts. I think you purposely did that as that screenshots are from another account and you have just edited it to make it look like yours. And yeah why are you reporting something in the Scam Accusation board if you said that the "police are going through your computer". Sharing even a little bit of information on an ongoing investigation is a stupid thing to do. It is like alerting the accused to clean their evidence before the police can link the crime to them. Title: Re: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: provablyfair0 on May 04, 2018, 11:52:42 PM Who the heck keeps 25 BTC on Binance anyways? and if you had 2FA there is noway for hacker to bypass it, google authenticator is on your mobile not on your gmail . the 25 BTC that was ''stolen'' is just another excuse right? Also it looks like you hacked fortunejack database? Explain that to us, you are obviously a hacker... also screenshots can be edited, i doubt fortunejack would send you a ''virus link'' as you call it, i think fortunejack should show us what really was said during the conversation, There are no records of the conversation as there was no live chat available when the OP claims to have talked to them.. It was shut down, removed from the site, no support agents working in it. And also such conversation can easily be editted, what support sends a link and then closes chat immiditely? ??? Title: Re: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: HCP on May 05, 2018, 08:08:38 AM That is not how google auth works. You get a code on your phone that is valid for 60s. After that you can't use it any longer, do you now know how it works? actually, no, you can go to google account settings and get 10 codes to use whenever you feel to use them :)Also... the GAuth codes are only valid for 30s ;) Oh my so I was right, this is some retarded idiot.. #QFT@OP, Honestly... You first attempt to blackmail FJ by claiming to have hacked their server and threaten to release all the info unless paid. They called your bluff and now you're publicly admitting to the blackmail whilst trying to accuse them of giving you a trojan that caused you to lose 25 BTC from your 2FA protected Binance account being hacked??!? ::) ::) ::) Sounds like an episode of Jerry Springer... Title: Re: Fortunejack is under investigation Post by: Theb on May 05, 2018, 09:03:11 AM ~snip~ That is correct I contacted them because I was wondering why my withdraw took so long. After they said follow the steps in this link, I pressed the link and when I pressed zoom at the picture a file auto downloaded to my pc. If that is indeed a virus I will hold Fortunejack responsible for my hack. After I got the link I asked them what was going on, they responded with: https://gyazo.com/5ac056788e0877d764bf6c1be4e7bd92 on email.I have blocked part of my name because I don't want to have everyone to see my different usernames around the web. If that is a problem Fortunejack can send me an email and I will provide all the pictures without blocked parts. |
