Bitcoin is my money. Want to sell me something? Don't even bother unless you are selling it for bitcoin.

Why not? Actually I am already considering as my currency, I may not using it in some things since some people and business are not yet accepting bitcoin here in our country but once I knew something that they are accepting it then I am using it, as in that way I am helping bitcoin to promote.

Imagine what will happen if bitcoin is recognized as the main currency, rather difficult. I can not even imagine how commercial structures will report to the tax service if the price of bitcoin is constantly changing. The binding to stable normal currencies will have to be done in any case. However, it will be very difficult to prove the income and expenses. The planning of the country's economy in general and the subsequent implementation of the budget will be very difficult, if at all possible. I would not want to participate in such an experiment.

I imagine how long you have to wait in line at the grocery store or supermarket to check out due to long confirmation time (unless you pay a higher fee) bitcoin is really good to pay something online but in real life or paying small amount i think bitcoin isn't suited for that. But to replace something like western union yes bitcoin can do that perfectly. On the other hand, it's really hard to find a shop that accepts bitcoin as payment method due to lack of adoption.

If by prime you mean the only currency I'd be using, then it'd be a no. Bitcoin is still a closed economy that's still uninviting to your local merchants and brick-and-mortar stores, so there's still not much places to spend your coins to. It can still be used in online shopping though that is still an uncharted and grey area for me so I wouldn't really try to use my coins in them yet. The most practical use of bitcoin right now is its store of value for people who don't look into its speculative side.

Ofcourse I do. I believe that if the time comes that people will have bitcoin as our prime currency, it would be more convenient for us. Things and transactions would be easier and faster and lives or even our way of living would be better. I am actually dreaming to have it as our primary currency.

It is hard not to come under the conditions because there is a lot of commission rate, salary which we already have already received or the transfer which we want to be done, then there is no such thing as not being our main money, obviously a little more transfers are easy and free to be found in everybody's pocket and it is supposed to be supportive, My opinion 

of a truth I am seeing bitcoin as our future currency and I see every financial system adopting bitcoin and blockchain technology. If one governments refused to adopt bitcoin they are going to be left behind in crypto currencies development which implies advance in technology. I have been trying to explain this to friends for quite some time now.

Ofcourse and I always do. I would really love to live life with bitcoin as our primary currency. I believe, life would be easier that we used to have and we used to live. Transactions will faster and easier for our convenience and holding would be more profitable for us holders and traders.

Everyone imagines that but not because bitcoin is a good currency, rather it has risen a lot so far, so people want to exchange their prime currency usd for bitcoin as they want more prime currency  :-\

Maybe not Bitcoin per say, but definitely something similar and a bit more stable on the market side. I like the idea of keeping the technology of the blockchain, but hopefully a suitable replacement will be created to surpass Bitcoin in every way. All we can do now is to wait and see.

It can be, but may take time
Bitcoin has the potential of becoming a prime currency to the universe.
The more countries accept and supports it, the quicker it achieve it. It will soon turn the world currency around.

It doesn't really matter what my currency is, it's what everyone else's is. It's no use to me if no one else will take it off me.

But, as of right now if I had something of mine I wanted to sell I would certainly prefer to accept Bitcoin for it, though where I'm at converting it to the money everyone else wants is still a pain up the arse so I couldn't do it if it was to meet some pressing bills.

Of course I can. It in fact is my prime currency as most of my wealth is in BTC and other cryptos right now. I'm not transacting every day because I'm still forced to use fiat by all the institutions around me that don't even know what a cryptocurrency is, but hopefully it will change in the near future.
My parents couldn't imagine plastic cards as their main form of payment and here they are.

Can I imagine it? I'm living it. It is sincerely not that far fetched of an idea to accomplish. Bitcoin is extremely liquid and valuable, there's no reason why you cannot use it as your primary currency. The entire point of Bitcoin since it's genesis has been to be a feasible replacement for the regular fiat currencies. Reserve currencies and centralization is one of the primary foundational principles of Bitcoin. If you cannot imagine or implement Bitcoin as your primary currency then you are doing Bitcoin wrong.

I think most of us here are, we want Bitcoin to be at the surface and be used as the primary currrency not only in the internet but in the whole world. Let us make it happen, fully recognize by the people, let us not stop supporting it. Imagine where we are if this comes through, we might get our lambo's too like the one who got it first.

There would really be lots of sectors would be mainly affected if we do talk about bitcoin as a prime currency when we are pertaining on general means or as a whole but yet we are just talking about ourselves on how we do treat it then i would say it would always stand next to my local fiat holdings which bitcoin is a currency and also serves as an investment which i do end up on saving it rather than on spending it into useless things.

I would love to save this currency as like everyone does here. To be frank, i will to earn more bitcoin than my local currency. At the same time spend my own local currency for any expense than bitcoin. I have been here in this community for more than an year. The journey taught me that bitcoin is the best asset one can have at this situation. So targeted to earn more Bitcoin and other crypto currencies.

Well, I guess so, in the fact that I regard it as a future investment. I have saved a larger part of my future savings in cryptocurrency and I am not regarding that I turn them into this digital currency. The  only problem that one might encounter doing this is not securing the safe place where you have save your coins. Apart from that, bitcoin is a good form of future savings.

I already pay with crypto for food ordering or wherever I am able to. And I also get my salery in eth, so yes. I live in a mixture of crypto and fiat. Hopefully the crypto-share of my financials will raise over time :)

speculation arises when we have read some predictions ,, and I speculate that bitcoin will fall again in the next 2 weeks ,, and it will probably reach 10-15%. I speculate like this because some predictions are overflowing to the surface

If bitcoin will be our prime currency then all things are done with hassle-free like buying goods,services,paying bills and even salary payments because it is done electronically since bitcoin is a digital currency.

I do not imagine  this because the government of my country is made up of very corrupt people who have shaped the history of my country to satisfy their own interests, and this small group of people who constitute the government of my country approve laws that only benefit them; they never will abandon our currency to make bitcoin as our main coin. so I do not even imagine this, I'm happy to have my coins in my wallet and I prefer to keep away from the sight of the corrupt ones of my country


but I doubt that happens someday, because people are greedy and just do things for their own interest

Bitcoin will be known for it's use as a digital currency / cryptocurrency though there are words that are being thrown to it to make it look bad in front of investors, enthusiasts and optimistic believers. I do use bitcoin for paying now my bills and it's a real deal, a real money that I'm very convenient of using it. Sitting in front of my desktop watching youtube videos and suddenly the biller emails me my bill. Dude I'll just pay you off with my bitcoins and it's on its way.

Of course people today strongly support what technology will happen, if Bitcoin greatly facilitates the wrong buying and selling transactions to live comfortably, but maybe the government is still thinking about the development of Bitcoin in the future, do not want to take a direct decision to make Bitcoin as legitimate payment instruments, maybe at other times can be realized very mature, we will all be crazy about the price of Bitcoin, so support what is good for Bitcoin so the price can soar.

It's not hard to adopt bitcoin as primary currency, there are still changes but is more convinient to everyone. It may take longer before we can acquired all the changes. Our economy will grow more. Despite of that, I know for a fact that I am not yet ready for that but I am welcome for the changes to be happened when the time comes.

It is better for us to hold more bitcoins because aside from waiting for more earnings, if bitcoin is being accepted in all establishment and they are already well known in the world atleast we already have bitcoin on our hands.

For me it's impossible to use Bitcoin as prime currency as most people around me don't use it. I need to make deals, buy/sell stuff, so fiat is still necessary, otherwise I will close myself inside a "bubble" and stay away from the "real world", looking only for few people who deal with BTC, so I can trade with them. In big cities I think it's already a possibility, as Bitcoin becomes popular faster and there are big businesses which give you the chance to use BTC or you can use the "middleman services" to convert the money anyway, but at smaller cities, countryside cities it's not going to happen soon.

In my own opinion using Bitcoin as your prime currency in your daily needs is rather difficult. BTC is only good for online shopping. Imagine the long process on every store you are going to buy from using BTC. It would cause you too much a hassle.

The real bitcoin enthusiasts want this to happen of course. Bitcoin must be treated as currency and not something similar to commodities. I am looking forward to a global acceptance of bitcoin but for the mean time I won't HODL many of it. I'll buy on dips and always sell on pumps because I need money to spend for my daily booze. ha ha ha!

I think that would be difficult because we belong to different country and our currencies are base on the country itself. But for us Bitcoin users yes this is our primary currency where when it comes to Bitcoin we become one. I mean whatever country we are in we are all alike when it comes to Bitcoin.

My imagination is Bitcoin will stay as it is, A favourite for everyone in cryptocurrency.. But, btc as a prime currency? I dont think so, as every country has strict rule to protect their own currency..

Imagining it as prime currency of course yes even though I think it is not likely to happen. I actually imagine that 1 satoshi equals to $1 and with 1 Bitcoin that will equals to $100,000,000. We will be the new millionaires. Now the reason why I do not think it will happen is because of the oligarchs and government that they do not want their FIAT turn the value to zero. Most likely they will do everything in their power to influence law makers to make sure this will not happen.

if bitcoin becomes the main currency in a country there must be a law to regulate changes between local currency to bitcoin and that can be changed if the government (parliament) approves it. of course they will do that if there is a gift for them. You're right they'll do that if any profit to them. I don't think it could happen in the future. I prefer bitcoin in my wallet and I prefer the local currency as the main currency

In my opinion, I am just thinking of that as well but I think it will take year to implement. Bitcoin value moves quickly unlike existing fiat like dollar or pound currencies. However, for now we can use Bitcoin as mode of payment thru online that has no hassle and free of charge. I think for now, let's enjoy on what we have right now.

I've considered bitcoin like a currency in my own life, because most of my money is kept in bitcoin and kept in the future for my children and grandchildren. I just think, can bitcoin be the currency of all countries like me who consider bitcoin as currency in everyday life? maybe in the next few years this will happen.

Right now, I will not using bitcoin for payment or my currency. I am more consider bitcoin as my investment because its profitable than using as currency. I would not imagine bitcoin as currency because in my country, bitcoin prohibited if used for payment in merchant even that merchant accept bitcoin for payment.
And as investment, why we spend bitcoin right now if we believe is good investment in the future. Its better to hold it right now

At the moment I can`t imagine bitcoin as the main currency. It is too unstable and very vulnerable to the slightest influence. But I believe that bitcoin is the currency of the future. As soon as the situation on the market stabilizes and people become more confident in bitcoin, humanity will begin to regard it as a prime currency.

Actually Bitcoin is very useful, I can imagine myself go abroad without need to exchange any money, and I can used Bitcoin every where, it's like carrying your wallet in your smartphone, it will feel very great to be able to spend, to do business and become an investment using a single currency

it's really true what you say bitcoin is the best way to make transactions across countries like to buy goods from the outside, but if to invest or do any business it would use a single currency or paper

Will absolutely easy to use for any bitcoiners I mean, but I think in my country will not so easy because not many people can understand bitcoin clearly. I've been using bitcoin almost a year and I enjoyed the reward what I got from bounty program, eventhough that was the easy way to earn money from bitcoin and I explained to them step by step,  they still can't understand. So, it will be take really long time if we want to use bitcoin as our prime currency.

I think it would be really more convenient and it is also an advantage for us to have bitcoin as our prime currency. These days, we really need to have a sinhle currency to be use in our daily transactions for things to get better. With bitcoin asbour currency, it would be a profitable way of saving abd budgeting.

No.Bitcoin still has not been widely accepted and so the only way to buy anything is to convert it to fiat.With bitcoin still not getting accepted widely as a currency,in no way we could consider it to be a primary currency as we would not be able to buy anything with it or pay or any services directly.

It would remain only as a secondary currency as it has many limitations like not getting legalized,having only a limited supply of 21 million and able to operate only if internet available.

Crypto epoch are coming. Yesterday I saw a typical person at the public place who read a book about bitcoin and it was unexpectedly. I notice often how crypto technologies are coming in our life. Generally speaking just right now I cannot imagine bitcoin as my prime currency but I do not exclude that it will in the far future.

It seems you haven’t any job, a salaried one. But if you are getting the things and life with bitocins being the supreme source of income, it is better as well. They don’t let you down in any stage of life. But get sure that you are earning right thing with right intension and at right time. Bitocins can be considered as full time job but that is a little bulky risky. Better is to play a safe game.

Yes I can imagine Bitcoin as my prime currency. But what I see in my imagination is only difficulties and hurdles in the way of Bitcoin. Bitcoin has obtained bad repo since past few months due to many reasons like Bitcoin can be used for illegal activities like money laundering and terrorism easily. Further it can be used for tax evasion also due to its unique feature of anonymity. Then Bitcoin is so volatile that it is difficult for it to become our prime currency. Moreover lets be very fair but a wait time of even 10 minutes is too much for receiving payments in daily normal life. So if we are able to over come some of these hurdles then ofcourse bitcoin can't be stopped.

Yes no doubt that it is the future of bitcoin, bitcoin is becoming popular in the world and now people really welcome it as their us bitcoin as their main currency. in future when the users of bitcoin will increase, in fact bitcoin will become more and more popular and will facilitate people more, because in future the use of bitcoin will increase and then people will become able to use bitcoin for different purposes.

I'd rather trade my Bitcoin than to a USD but of course Bitcoin is useless without trading it to a fiat currency. Well, Bitcoin can be use for multiple things like buying something, trading an item or BTC to $ and many more. More stores are adapting the idea of using a multiple crypto currency in their businesses and it is quite useful because it was accepted as legal payments (some sort of).

What's been said is true, without usd or the other currencies bitcoin is not a valuable thing. Because, it is calculated in terms of fiat value. Maybe when more adoption takes place the usage will increase and that will surely cause it to be a prime currency. for me, bitcoin is a financial and economic revolution. with decentralized and transparent bitcoin properties, made me switch to using bitcoin with a blockchain system rather than fiat money with a conventional bank system

I can't imagine bitcoin as my base currency to pay for goods and services because bitcoin's drawback of being unaccessible during offline is the one reason why i could not see bitcoin as a prime currency. Not unless if this issue can be addressed before i can fully internalize bitcoin to ever replace fiat.

I never thought of this, because my country has not accepted the BTC, people do not understand what is BTC. I just joined btc for the purpose of speculation and make a profit.

I invest in bitcoin to make money but I do not think bitcoin will become its official currency. My intention is to invest only bitcoin when its value is high and when the price goes down I will stop investing. Buy and sell bitcoin but my ultimate goal is to convert them into cash for consumption.

Don't get me wrong, I love Bitcoin, but I just find it hard to envision it as a primary currency. In terms of going out to eat, store, etc. It's not as simple as cash. Unless you meant buying stuff on line. I could see myself mostly using Bitcoin if I find a good online store that accepts it.

No i cant,because theres only 21million bitcoins in circulation i wonder how huge the price of this if we will use it as prime currencies.

Why not just respect what we ate having now,and besides we can use bitcoin freely even if fiats is existing so lets not make it a problem ,theres alot of things to consider than doing this an issue

i think it wont be really that successful, besides we all have fiats issued by the government and it was first centralized, so the idea of having a decentralized currency for a certain country is quiet troublesome and difficult one. let us just stay to where we are currently and let's just watch what will be the next decision or the flow of the economy, because of this we are just speeding things up.

Ever imagined such a thing, but I'm sure if that happens then bitcoin will not pull. I really enjoy bitcoin so far, so I guess bitcoin does not have to be a physical currency, because bitcoin is just an asset that is worth much better than gold. That's what I feel so far.

My speculation is that bitcoin is the future currency and the whole world will use bitcoin for their daily needs. The world is turning towards cryptocurrency and no doubt bitcoin is the leading crypto in the world. So it is obvious that bitcoin will be the primary currency of the whole world. Yes, of course. It is actually a good thing to have it as our primary currency though we all know that it would take a lot of courage and patience for us to get there. It is really an advantage to have it as our currency because we could use it for our convenience. However, we must focus on educating people about what crypto is.

No, I can't consider bitcoin to be a currency that I will more often use than my local fiat money. Seeing as how it behaves in the market, it is a risk and a double edge sword if I will do so. I'd rather use physical money on my transactions. Maybe if I will see a more stable movement of bitcoin and fewer fluctuations, it can go hand in hand with fiat.

yes and actually I am now totally convinced that bitcoin has the future to become the global crypto currency of the world, why because almost of the countries are using bitcoin and bitcoin is mostly the crypto that someone is needed just to convert his/her fiat or another altcoin into bitcoin and doing that is the only way to make trade, pay others transaction. In this reason if I try to think about it, I can say that bitcoin is indeed the global crypto in our future.

yes of course I can imagine when bitcoin will be the digital currency being one of the main payment and can be used for the whole world definitely bitcoin will be expensive because many will want to have bitcoin and total bitcoin will be less and less because supply already maximum can not be in production anymore.

At the current moment, I can't imagine Bitcoin to be my prime currency. Though the coin was the first to introduce the idea of decentralised currency in the financial market, still it would take a lot of years for the coin to head towards being a mainstream currency.
Firstly the coin is too volatile to be a currency at the moment and stability is the major factor for any currency to be mainstream and is important for a strong economy. Also, the coin has not gained acceptance worldwide. There are still countries which have banned the coin. Another factor is that the coin does need some regulations so that it can't be used negatively.
As long as these factors are not corrected, the coin can't be a prime currency in the future.

Many are expecting that to happened but I also believe that it may happen but not soon. I think their is no problem with that as long as many will be benefited why not. My only hope if this will really happen is the transaction fees will be modified and lesser  for the benefit of all the users.

Hypothetically speaking, bitcoin would be more acknowledged by different countries all over the world yet nothing is assured that these countries would also accept bitcoin beyond making it a part of business industry in their economy. The currency that each country has is their identity and some countries went through a lot of challenges to obtain freedom and independence from foreign race who are intruders with a motive of invading their countries. They must have been went to war, many have perished in the struggle, experienced prolonged process of succeeding into something that they have done for the welfare of their people, state and economy which includes currency. Making bitcoin as a primary currency is not a bad idea yet the history and origin of the currencies of flat money all over the world would be of what value now?

We also have the same expectation, i think that bitcoin will be te price currency in the future, we will be giving more preference to bitcoin as compare to fiat currency and that will be because that it will be more easy to use online currency as compare to fiat currency, we will become able to do shopping in any corner of the world. For me, I would like for cryptocurrency to remain as an investment rather than being the world's prime currency. Because of the high volatility of cryptocurrencies, it would be hard to use it as the global currency. Maybe, if that issue will be settled, then I would be happy to use it as such. But, looking at the current situation, I will use it as an investment and a source of income.

I cannot imaging at negative thoughts all about, cause i would like to imaging the positive thoughts, if bitcoin will replace to fiat currency it just like a magic world when you paying at your basic needs that no need to bring in cash to your pocket all you need to do is to swipe or touch it ,(to your phone) it just simple as that. but if will happen i'm not pretty sure to absorb the hole system.because in my country bitcoin are only accept to subsidy as payment method through in basic need such as grocery ,monthly bill,etc.and not totally accept to run in the market at hole system as decentralized country.

No my friend, it is not that the prices of products will decrease with an increase in BTC value. Basically, we will be paying an equivalent value in bitcoin but there will be fewer bitcoin to be paid. I hope you are getting my point. Whenever price of an asset rises, less amount of it can by the same product. Moreover, bitcoin is the best investment at the moment so governments should let citizens become rich this way.

If majority of the merchant start accepting bitcoin, then why not, i am not sure about local purchases but if i am purchasing something online or want to send money, then i will be using bitcoin as the amount of cost i will save will be a good one compared to any other method.

Bitcoin is a digital currency and we imagine as our investment source and payment method somewhere that is very important for us to save our money and save more on low transaction rate that is negligible. This currency should be adopted and if countries adopt this digital currency then the economies of the countries will boost up as they will save a big budget on making paper notes.

Yes why not! Can we considered bitcoin as our primary currency as long as bitcoin helps us and it gives us opportunities to earn money I think for me I will considered this as my main currency. However with the unstable value of cryptocurrency at the market we are afraid for our investment because we think maybe sometimes the price of bitcoin will drop down. Yes, it is sometimes use as money because we can use this for payments and for some transactions accepting bitcoin and I can consider it as my prime currency sometimes but in reality it is not considered to be the prime currency because of its volatility.

Yes now it is very easy to pay for all kind of good using bitcoin, we can easily pay for a lot of things now using bitcoin currency and we can buy even daily needs using bitcoin to pay, already some areas has become cashless society and they are using digital currency only, as time passing worth and power of bitcoin is increasing more and more, in my place as well bitcoin is really possible to be first currency because I have noticed people interest for bitcoin more than fiat.

Well, for me there's no problem at all, I'll agree with that because now all I need is my phone and an internet connection wherever I go. Even my expenditures if I go to other countries wouldn't become a problem at all since btc is no need to be converted.

The bottomline, I'm willing to use btc as a primary currency but the problem is I don't see any opportunities here to do so. Though crypto is not restricted here in our country, it still not well known and broadly implemented. Nevertheless, i'm still hopong that it will change someday.

I can’t use Bitcoin as my main currency, because it is not fully accepted where I live. Well, the government doesn’t really consider it as illegal, but the thing is that people are not interested in using Bitcoin. Well, why would they even make use of it? This is not science-fiction. In my country, there is some big economist who considers this probability. Many countries don't want to trade with USD between them. Russia, of course, the biggest of these countries. We are going to use our fiat in the near future that's sure but maybe we are going to use BTC as our prime currency

The creation of bitcoin is for using it and not for holding it in your wallet to make more money. I want bitcoin to be used by everyone in this world so that there will be only in currency in the world and there will be no need for any exchange of local money for payments in other countries. Bitcoin is my prime currency and I will use it for my daily needs.

Instead of waiting for things to start rolling, try contribute yourself by raising awareness locally. The longer you are doing nothing to force through changes, the longer it takes for other people around you to do it. People here are quite hypocrite. They expect Bitcoin to be a currency, and even blame it some times for not being that, but they don't do anything to change it.

I have this year basically 'forced' people selling goods locally to accept Bitcoin because I am not going to use fiat. I gave them a choice, you continue relisting your products online where no one is buying them, or you can accept my Bitcoins and you can have it sold right now, and so it happened. :D

I would like to use Bitcoin as a prime currency but in the case when I will have the crypto friendly market environment around me. It doesn't make any sense to keep all the funds in Bitcoin if no one around you knows about it. We don't have the crypto friendly market environment as of now in most of the countries so I won't use Bitcoin as a prime currency but still, it is my first priority if the other guy is willing to accept it against his goods and services.

I strongly agree! We can't really control different opinions when it comes to legalizing bitcoin and be used as a virtual currency or prime currency. If it will be approved, I guess it would take a lot of time, procedures, and a long way to go. It's legality is by country to country and territory. I'm already using Bitcoin a lot, but there are still not many shops which would accept my coins. I really like cashless transactions and that's why I'm using debit cards, but I don't feel secure. I'm afraid that my account might be block by some authority without any particular reason. I can imagine using Bitcoin daily. There are many iOS and Android wallets which are really easy to use. Bitcoin payments are as fast as credit cards (scanning a QR code and hitting send after a quick check if the address is correct). It is a matter of time before it becomes a reality.

At this stage, I do not see bitcoin as the main currency. It is too unstable and vulnerable, and does not have a constant value and will be affected by the slightest influence. But I think that bitcoin should not be underestimated.

I imagine if all the daily transactions all use online from grocery stores to furniture stores and others. maybe bitcoin more and more people are hunting him. but all that is very difficult to happen. because bitcoin is not suitable for use for daily transactions.

It's really convenient to use bitcoin as a mode of payment, just imagine paying your bills using bitcoin. You can save a lot of time compared to falling in a long line and filling out a form just to pay a bill. I think bitcoin is one of the best thing that technology brought to human.

Not sure what country you are from, but you can just have bills automatically be deducted from your bank account. I however read about how certain people in developing countries who are denied a bank account for whatever reason (likely class discrimination) do have to go through that what you mentioned. Maybe you are from such country as well? I don't know how much of a problem it is in developing countries, and don't know what traditional fiat payment services there are available as alternative, but Bitcoin can actually form a great help in that case. If people can accept the volatility when using it to pay for bills with Bitcoin, then it's all fine, but reality mostly turns out to be completely different....

 - From a UK perspective - I can imagine the 'Bitpound' soon. It's the inevitable steamroller that is the rise and continual improvement of man and technology. Being a primary currency in terms of usage and acceptance requires lot many years to travel. As it is completely decentralized it cannot easily get the status of a primary currency, and in my belief bitcoin will continue to be the alternative to the traditional currency system. More the advancement more will be the adoption leading towards mainstream usage.

Indeed, i do believe that will happen but not too soon. Many obstacle if bicoin as daily currency, like central banks must be wont issuing regulation about it and not many people understand about bitcoin or cryptocurrency. Its need a lot effort to make it happen

It would be a great idea but i would stick with reality. We belong in the third world country and acceptance of bitcoin as a means of payment is not that largely accepted in our country. I used to always make bitcoin as the prime currency and I assume 1 btc remain 1 btc no matter how if it is converted to usd or idr.
But everything is change when the government in my country prohibits to use of the bitcoin as a legitimate payment tool, and since bitcoin price has gone high, I've sold almost everything and can't be used as a prime currency because in my country, using of cryptocurrency isn't resctricted although is not  prohibited completely.

It would be nice, but it would be difficult to process payments if the network gets congestionated. That is why we need the LN in order to consider bitcoin as a good "normal currency".

Nope, as what bitcoin is looking/moving as of today, not really. It is true that right now bitcoin is not very suitable to pay for your groceries in a supermarket because the confirmation time is simply too long, but this could be solved once the lightning network is completely activated once that happens we will be able to use our bitcoin anywhere we want and we will get very fast confirmations and when that happens finally will see bitcoin being adopted and being used in our everyday lives.

IMO it was still a good idea to have bitcoin accepted in our country, but it is also good to have your own currency for your country. Bitcoin as a prime currency in society is idealistic but I do not think that they have yet to take on considerations like not all people have access to the internet or even technology to which bitcoin rely on. Not to mention its volatility which makes it a need to constantly adjust prices of products or service according to value.
On the other hand, it will be more convenient and secure due to its technological advancements greater than fiat.
We'll know once we get there.

Well I'd like ti wake up one morning and be able to transact  to anyone and anywhere with whatever i would need or want and pay for it in crypto currency. But i guess we needbto see a more stable coin first before we actually talk about this.

if you want faster confirmation you can add transaction fee but I doubt people will shop with bitcoin with very expensive transaction fee, I think the other problem is the limited acceptance of bitcoin in various merchants, so we will still be difficult to spend bitcoin, for now using bitcoin for major currencies can not be relied upon

I could pretty much see crypto currencies as my primary currency. As much as i can, i pay for things with crypto currency. Making evryone accept crypto currencies will just make things a heck of a lot easier. I just hope i see it in my lifetime.

Yeah and from currency it is coin business. I can make huge profits in the future from my bitcoin holdings. It is the only way to make big money in few years while regular business will take a long time to succeed. Well, it’s quite easy to imagine bitcoin as my prime currency, but the hard part shows up when it comes to some common financial practices, which sometimes may be not possible without fiat. I hope that someday it would be possible to pay with btc everywhere, but nowadays, imo, is time to hold and wait.

I can't imagine using it every day as it is too undervalued right now. I prefer to hold bitcoin until it reaches peak value and then use it as a currency at that time. It should reach six figures before it stabilises, I'd give it a few more years before I start to spend it for goods rather than invest in altcoins and ICOs

You know that idea is still happening now why because as a crypto user we cant chnage the fact that we are also engage in any transaction happening in the market of cryptocurrency so in that way we are using it also as our currency though we can't consider it as  we are using it as our primary currency...  But we've using it also so it is not possible that soon we will use it as our everyday money....  And also we are hoping that other people would recognize it already....

Originally, bitcoin has been created for the purpose of acting as a currency. That is exactly the fact why the term cryptocurrency had been used. Now that bitcoin is arising, it is not just as currency but now, mainly used as an asset for investment, or in short trading. As much as we like bitcoin to be accepted as prime currency for all of us, it might takes years though to be fully recognized by governments except for few nations. Although I'm lucky that our government still accepts it so I was able to used it to pay almost all my bills right now, but I can't used to say buy commodities because no supermarket is still not accepting it. Maybe in the future though, we might see this happening, but today with all the global regulations and banning from a lot of governments globally.

You said 1btc could be more expensive if bitcoin did already reach its market cap , so therfor using it as a primary currency can be difficult because only few people can be able to afford it. However i did agree when we you say that bitcoin can possibly become a primary currency after it becomes stable because right now bitcoin is still verry volatile and it isnt really good to use for buying purposes but despite these issues , there were still merchants and other people that keeps using bitcoin as a regular currency in order to buy stuffs.

And also there are advantage and disadvantage if bitcoin becomes our prime currency, when the price rises you can buy a lot of things with it, but when the price gets low, you'll get less from the product that you'll buy, and also bitcoin is volatile, there will be a sudden change everyday.

It will depend on your lifestyle, and in the country in which you are living, for example if you're living in Japan which is the country that has adopted cryptocurrencies at the fullest then it will be entirely possible to only use bitcoin as your main currency, but if you live in a country which has barely adopted bitcoin and the income that you get out of bitcoin is very low then at best bitcoin will be a complement to your fiat currency.

When it comes to virtual currency, bitcoin is my main currency and I often use it it in my online transactions. Bitcoin is not yet approved as one of the legal tender here in my country but the monetary authorities allowed it for remittance purposes only or by sending money through bitcoin and claim it by cash. Everyone would love this when it happened specially  the crypto currency world of investors and traders, a global digital transaction is much better, easy, faster, no paper documentation, decentralized transaction. A better world for everybody, as everyone dreams to happen. But, lets look back a bit, the entry of crypto or Bitcoin on the market treed or the market trading Change the out look of general public investors, whether on stock market or on crypto market trading, with the growing acceptance on crypto trading globally, had an effect for the future of trading in the business world. Bitcoin was hammered by a lot of issues on Scammer, Banned, and now the never ending issue on Regulation on the use of digital transaction on its country trading Bitcoin, once this issues were address, i am optimistic, that the possible realization on Bitcoin as primary currency will be our future of market trading transaction.

Yeah. I can imagine bitcoin as our prime currency. Day by day people are becoming depending on online currency. One day will come when bitcoin will be the world's prime currency. And I can imagine that as bitcoin is on top.

There is nothing wrong in imaging any such thing as anything can happen in this world and that we never know what future will bring for us as the future is very much unpredictable. If we look at the capabilities and the potential of the bitcoin, then I don’t think so that we will have any other reason or logic because of which we can say that bitcoin cannot be the global currency or the primary currency of any country.

There are pros and cons of each and everything we see in this world and that there are in very much favor of such kind of thing. At this very moment, the chances of this thing to happen are quite low but still, there is a hope that in the future you can expect something like that at time when the government will be willing to declare these crypto currencies as legal currencies.

I guess it would be nice if that happens. Transactions will become easier and more faster. But in reality fiat still rules the market for a very long time.

I think I can live my whole life in Bitcoin. Bitcoins can be my Prime life and I can use it whatever I like they used because I'm not in future I am sure everything will accept Bitcoin and other altcoins too. Right now it is hard but not impossible to stay in Bitcoin maybe there will be many consequences but still you can live on Bitcoin and I don't think I will switched over to Physical cash or any other payment stuff.

For me bitcoin is such a blessing. It helps me to earn some money without the use of my own money. It helps me in sustaining the needs and wants of my family.

To be honest I do not think fiat money would be fully disappear and our county wouldn’t be a cashless society since it’s been part of our live for so many years. But I think bitcoin would be one of the leading currency sooner or later.

everyone has their own ideas and every idea must be very different ..
I have the idea that bitcoin can be used to buy anything around the world and we just wait in the next few years what will happen ..

If that can happen, it will probably be my main currency because most of the wealth of those who use it is in BTC and other crypto today. But it may take time if all this can happen and need a process.

Yes I do believe that bitcoin can become the prime currency one day in the future because bitcoin has the right potential of becoming so. Bitcoin is a universal form of currency which can be used all over the world without the hassles of currency exchange also it is a digital form of currency So one does not need to carry it everywhere in the physical state also it has a very good block chain system because of which it is very hard to steal any money via bitcoin unlike regular cash.

I think bitcoin will future money because people don't use in their life yet. We can not use for buying or selling but I hope it will be in near future. We will follow and support...

Yes, this will definitely be our future currency. In this age of technilogy where everything is done online. It will not be long till it will replace the current bills that we have right now. More convenient and faster transaction will this allow us. Im already considering converting mist of my savings here

Why not. I was imagined bitcoin as prime currency it will be easy to transaction each other. And you don't have bring physical money wherever you go, just show your wallet or barcode bitcoin for transaction. But I just worried about bitcoin, sometime when I look price on weakned and strengthened it will be get problem with transaction and one more time, I think every currency in crypto is very fluctuate not like usd or etc.

Even there will be more currency being develop and bitcoin leads the way to make all transaction easier, it can be impossible to vanish fiat because it is controlled by the government. It is nice to have something to be use in online transaction with anonymity, more fast and convenient but cannot use for everyday payment because the price is very volatile.

Well if Bitcoin is accepted and can be used in supermarkets, grocery stores, and all other establishments, that would be great. But so far from where I come from, it is hard to find a local shop or merchants that accepts Bitcoin. Maybe due ot its volatility that is why there are only few establishments, take note big establishments are taking it as a payment method.

I firmly believe that bitcoin can be the single currency that can happen in the next 10 years and also predict bitcoin will make financial transactions simple and will eventually become a more stable currency only takes time.

One thing that I have proven now and that is there is no really impossible in this world, imagine bitcoin who must have thought of it that it is possible to have a decentralized currency right? For sure all of us are amaze how bitcoin become a great opportunity for all of us in an easy way.
