All  of  the  above  BTCC  Mint  collectibles  fully  loaded  and  funded  with  Bitcoin  at  their  face  value,  at  the  time  of  manufacturing.

Please  note  that  all  coins  above  are  mine d in 2016 and 2017, before the hard forks in late 2017. This means that every coin would also have equivalent amounts of BCH, BTG, BCD, and other “Bitcoin fork-coin” values, in addition to BTC value. (This means that each coin’s actual value today could be at over +16% of today’s BTC value alone.)

Auction terms

- The auction starts today on May 18, and ends at 4:00 PM / 16:00 hours (UTC) on Sunday, May 27th. (We reserve the right to reschedule and extend the Auction End time if there's downtime with the forum platform.)

- No sniping! Every bid (on any lot) within 15 minutes of the end of the auction, will extend the full auction (of all lots) for another 15 minutes.

- The starting bid for each lot is listed above, in the lot description table.

- The bid increment for each lot is also listed above, in the lot description table.

- For your bid, please specify:
   - The lot you want. (Please choose from letters A through M.)
   - Your bid amount in BTC. (Please make sure your bid increment is valid.)

- Shipping fees will be a flat 0.01 BTC, to anywhere in the world, including to the USA. This amount will be added to your winning bid(s), one flat rate for all lots that you win. (If you win multiple lots, your shipping fee will remain at 0.01 BTC as long as it’s shipped to the same address.)

- Shipping address: Before you make payment, please send us your desired shipping address via PM to this “BTCC_Official” account. This is to prevent fraud, so shipping addresses cannot be changed after you have made payment.

- Payment is in bitcoin (BTC) only, and you do not have to make payments in any hard fork coins (such as BCH). Payment details will be posted here in the OP after the auction ends, on Tuesday, May 29.

- Winners will have 3 days to make payment. Payments are due at 12 noon UTC on Friday, June 1, 2018.

- We will post custom payment addresses in this “OP” posting, for each winner.  For security reasons, and to prevent phishing attempts and fraud, we will NOT message or PM any user to request payments to specific addresses.

- We will start shipping during the week of June 4. (USA-bound items, as well as Lot C, will be shipped 2 weeks later.)

- The coins will be shipped to you in their original packaging, as originally sold by BTCC.

- All auction items have already been officially inspected by BTCC and its co-founder, Bobby Lee. They items are all genuine and in good condition. Therefore, all auction items will come as-is, in its current condition, with no refunds accepted.

IMPORTANT AUCTION UPDATE (Tuesday, May 29, 2018)

This Auction (for Lots A-E) will be Extended until this Friday, June 1.

Due to unforeseen shill bidding by a newbie account, the final outcome of the auction was affected for lots A-E. (Lots F-M were not affected, and those auction results are final.)

After much consideration and taking input from forum users, we have decided to do the following:

1) Re-open and Extend the auction time for Lots A, B, C, D, and E.
2) The auction for these 5 lots start again right now, with an auction end time of Friday, June 1, at 4:00 PM / 16:00 hours UTC.
3) The auction will be open to everyone, however, Forum Newbies will have to get pre-approval to bid.  We will ask Newbie users to send in 1.0 BTC as a refundable escrow, in order to place valid bids.
4) BTCC_Official will post in this OP, the list of Newbie users who are qualified to bid in this auction.  All other Newbie bids should be considered invalid unless we have pre-approved their participation.
5) The starting bids for Lot (A-E) will be the highest bid by a user that was not impacted by the shill bidding.  See the bottom of this OP for the Starting bids and current high bidder.
6) Winners will NOT have to pay extra shipping if they already won and paid for an auction Lot F-M.

Thank you everyone for participating in our first BTCC Mint auction this year!

We know that we had a few hiccups, when it came to unverified Newbie users making fake shill bids. We will learn from this, and improve our auction rules for next time.  In the future, we will require all Newbie (or questionable bidders) to be pre-approved by BTCC, by depositing an amount of BTC as escrow.  This will ensure that all auction bidding is legitimate, to provide the highest integrity to the auction.

It's good to be back on this forum, and I'm excited to see all of these auction items going to all of you.

Over the past few months, many of you have been asking me via PM about selling some more of the chips, so here is your chance!

Some comments:

- The last 2 lots each have two items in it, so you're bidding on the complete lot, and not on a "price each" basis.

- Lots G, H, an L, all have the same matching serial number: #201.  This also happens to be the LOWEST serial numbers available, as serial numbers #1 to #200 are all taken up by the BTCC Signature Sets. See if you can win all of these #201!

- For lots E and F, they are indeed a full roll of 20 chips, consecutive serial numbers.  The photo is a stock photo, so it doesn't show all 20 chips.  We will update the OP and post the serial numbers of these rolls soon.

Hi everyone.

Of these 3 accounts, I personally know Justin_Fang, as he’s a friend and colleague of mine. He personally wants to buy those two items, so that’s why he bid on them. It’s a legitimate bid.

As for the other 2 accounts, I don’t know who they are.

However, what’s true this time is that we have notified various Mint customers in China, alerting them to this auction. As you can imagine, they usually don’t frequent this forum. So some bidding and newbie user accounts could be coming from China, being legitimate customers.

I hope that this forum and community welcome new users, regardless of nationality and location.
I’m still a newbie user, for example, and I live in China.

Some do it to get more post count for signature campaigns. They bid when they know they're likely to be outbid.

Usually auctioneers do not hate to see their items being bid higher by one of their best customers, if you don't like it then don't sell them this way, would you rather that I stopped bidding on your sales?

We certainly welcome you to make bids on this (and all future) auctions.

Having said that, I still hope that other people get a chance to win some of the goodies here.

In terms of you consistently outbidding ALL of the people on ALL of the items, there is an expressed viewpoint that it’s actually counterproductive to the auction, as it disincentives people to make any further bids, as it might be futile if you continue to outbid them every time. In turn, that might lead to fewer winners and lower final prices. (If there were 2 or more strong bidders, then this might not happen.)

Again, the above is just one other person’s perspective, and I have not given it enough thought to come to a definitive conclusion yet. Maybe there is no right answer. Maybe other experienced people can chime in as well.

Regardless, this is a public auction on an open forum, so I can’t and won’t stop you from making further bids. Please don’t take offense at my comments.

One day I will not be a newbie anymore. I do not care to discuss on forums, I am a good BTCC mint client that's all that interests me.

My objective as a buyer is the same as most ppl, to obtain the coins that I want at the lowest price possible and a few other things like support the secondary market in coins that I'm already invested  in, I am not "consistently outbidding ALL of the people on ALL of the items" after my bids on the 23rd I deliberately avoided doing this, I did it for just one day on the 22nd when I started, in order to make a splash and way before the auction is due to end, it doesn't seem to have put ppl off, anyway as you imply it is pure speculation by a single person that my participating in this way is going to be detrimental to the final results.

I would agree. If you (Bobby) wanted different terms or outcomes you needed to make these clear at the start.
As a supplier I would be rather pleased there is someone out there prepared to bid heavily to acquire your goods.

Me: Maybe they will, maybe they won't, it's actually a good tactic to use a newbie account as ppl will think you may be just fake bidding the price up so not bid against you, the auction is a total mess imo, like in regular top end auction houses new bidders (actually especially ones from China who are notorious for not honouring their bids and not paying) have to per-register and also show proof of funds and often put down a hefty deposit.

To me it is irresponsible to encourage newbie bidders without making sure to other bidders that they are legit and actually have the funds.

He basically, or someone that he listened to, didn't like me going blam at the beginning and high bidding all the coins, but it was early days then and low bids, now I don't even have one single high bid left in the running, anyway their loss as I'm sure the sellers would have appreciated me doing it at the end now and I would have on some of the coins at least but have been put off bothering about that sale as I really don't need to participate in stuff that isn't fun for me any more.

It was similar the last time BTCC auctioned the big 25 BTC blocks and 12.5 BTC blocks. A complete newbie account won them and then he paid up. I know it's frustrating, but in the end it doesn't really matter who wins against you if he pays up. Either a legendary or newbie is the same if he pays up. No?

EDIT- I feel like I've wasted four hours of my time on this auction, and won't be participating in any re-auctions.  You've failed to put in place proper ground rules and are being naive when it comes to these shill bidders and scammers.  Some of us anticipated this by putting in place provisional bids because we knew those bids would never be paid.  I'm not going to waste any more time on your auctions here because it seems you don't know how to conduct them to prevent these shenanigans.

Given that it was pretty obvious a non-serious bid (registered seconds before bid placed, and bidding double a reasonable price on at least one item), I proceeded knowing that it would likely go to the second highest, valid bid.  

Yes, I might do that. Give me a day to think about it.

Something like this:
- For lots that got second place bidding after the trolling bids, we can award winner to second place bidding.
- For lots that got stuck and never got an additional bid, we might just re-auction it this week, or withhold and auction it at the next event.

Yeah and for lot A the price would jump from 1.68 to 2.51 out of nowhere, because of that fake bid. Afterwards an other legit bid came in for that lot at 1.83btc. Honestly I wouldn’t know how to handle a situation like this, since it’s a complete mess. Good luck @BTCC_Official

"notawhaleyet" (not a whale yet...) appearance jacked up the price that way.

I made then a legit "under" bid for A @ 1.83 then lost the hand in a messed deadline, so I feel a bit spoiled here. Consider now I bid A at 1.85, because why not?



Well, I hope to see a new auction or at least if not, give the legit bidders another round starting from prices BEFORE "notAwhaleYet"

auctions like this or other high ticket priced auctions, what if bidders would have to have either: a certain amount of x(#) in activity or put up a refundable  bond with escrow to bid if you are a new? could this work?

Its up to the person running the auction, but if i was selling these i wouldnt let newbies bid unless the post a refundable deposit in order to bid.  The reason is exactly this right here.  Either they wnd up not paying or it just looks fishy.  I hope this gets resolved in a matter in which both bobby and the bidders can agree on

Since this massage contains no new name (account), and it contains my personal information (it of course in my account), I believe it is possible for me to reckon this is from BTCC and send my BTCs to this address! Lucky I noticed that this maybe a trap. The only way I can image someone did it is using my account after I went to sleep!

I wanted to bid on a few items, but these huge auctions with multiple lots are just too big of a hassle for me. I would suggest doing less items at once next time + no newbies unless they prove they have funds for the items etc... It seems like every time there is a huge auction like this it always turns into a shit show.

Due to unforeseen shill bidding by a newbie account, the final outcome of the auction was affected for lots A-E. (Lots F-M were not affected, and those auction results are final.)

After much consideration and taking input from forum users, we have decided to do the following:

1) Re-open and Extend the auction time for Lots A, B, C, D, and E.
2) The auction for these 5 lots start again right now, with an auction end time of Friday, June 1, at 4:00 PM / 16:00 hours UTC.
3) The auction will be open to everyone, however, Forum Newbies will have to get pre-approval to bid.  We will ask Newbie users to send in 1.0 BTC as a refundable escrow, in order to place valid bids.
4) BTCC_Official will post in this OP, the list of Newbie users who are qualified to bid in this auction.  All other Newbie bids should be considered invalid unless we have pre-approved their participation.
