Title: [ANN][POOL][MULTI] Hash.so multicoin pool with easy coin switching, 40 coins!
Post by: hash.so on January 06, 2014, 11:44:56 PM
https://hash.so/ (https://csc.hash.so/)

Point your miners at:
stratum+tcp://pool-eu.hash.so:1337/ Server in Germany

And you can change the coin from our web frontend! We also have direct ports to stratum servers if you prefer those

You can also use port 80 or 443 for stratum: stratum+tcp://pool-eu.hash.so:(80,443)/

Benefits of mining with us

  • Highly competent staff, 10 year experience in running high availability Linux installations (mostly for the web)
  • High availability servers that we monitor. We will get SMS alerts during the night if something breaks
  • Enough capacity to handle large spikes
  • Tons of experience dealing with DoS/DDoS attacks
  • 1% fee to cover server/development costs

And the best part is our manual pool switching, using our "patented" Fast-switch 3000(tm) technology :) You point your miners at stratum+tcp://pool.hash.so:1337/ and then you can switch the coin you want to mine from our web page.

Mining Information

  • Optimized MPOS, with shared accounts and workers, you only need to register once
  • VARDIFF, so you will see progress in your miner and in the dashboard
  • PPNLS

What I'm working on next
  • More pools, suggestions welcome! Eventually I'm going to add em all :)
  • More stratum servers, currently we are only in EU. I'd like to add APAC and US east/west.
  • Pool auto switching, based on different criteria. And not just profitability, because it might not make sense if you are going to hold the coins
  • Nicer pool front page (current one doesn't even list all the pools)
  • Pool switching from the mobile interface, switch mining pool while you are on the go. done!
  • and more great things, but I'm running out of time to write this :)

Please give us a shot, and let me know what you think (especially the pool switcher, I'm sort of proud of it), there might or might not be 0% pool fees as a reward ;).

Current coin/pool list: (removed, I kept forgetting to update this, please check the site :)

Added EarthCoin (http://eac.hash.so/).

Come over and test the pool switcher, it's super nice!

Thanks, Glad you like it! :)

US stratum server got delayed. I wasn't impressed with the hosting providers network. If anyone knows a good provider in US (east/west/central) please let me know.

Could you provide pool for my coin ?

MT doesn't have dedicated servers, so it doesn't work. Thanks though.

Which coin would you like me to add?

We now have stratum server in the US, so please point your miners to:

stratum+tcp://pool-eu.hash.so:1337/
stratum+tcp://pool-us.hash.so:1337/
(Nearest one as a primary and the other as a backup) (we also have stratum ports for each coin, if you'd prefer that)

And then use our web frontend to choose which coin to mine!

I'm not 100% sure what to implement next:
What I'm working on next
  • More pools, suggestions welcome! Eventually I'm going to add em all :)
  • More stratum servers, currently we are only in EU, US pop is ready in a day or so.

I think Pool auto switching could be kinda cool? Or maybe I should just add more coins? Something else? :)

Pool autoswitching sounds good, but if you can do it without the frequent disconnects resulting from the autoswitch like the other autoswitching pools, it'd be awesome.
Pool switching from the mobile page is good too, if possible you can add the current profitability of the coins to be displayed there as well as the desktop version.

Maybe you can let the user decide on which coins can be activated/enabled on the autoswitching...   :o :o :o

APAC server would be great for me.

More coins.. I don't know, not easy to gain hashrates which makes the pool attractive.

I'm connected and mining using stratum+tcp://pool-us.hash.so:1337, but I'm not receiving anything for it.  No payouts are showing up on your site and my hash rate is showing up as zero.

It will not disconnect. My Fast-switch 3000(tm) technology switches to another pool very fast. Currently it resets vardiff back to minimum, because that way there is almost immediate feedback in the dashboard (your hash rate starts rising in the new pool).

Pool switching from the mobile page is good too, if possible you can add the current profitability of the coins to be displayed there as well as the desktop version.
I'll probably add the pool switching to mobile gui, mostly because it's easy. Then start working on pool autoswitcher, it's a much larger task.

Maybe you can let the user decide on which coins can be activated/enabled on the autoswitching...   :o :o :o
I have been thinking about it. Probably going to do something like that :)

APAC server would be great for me.
Been trying to find something suitable, but haven't found anything yet. I think we will have APAC server within a month or so. Depends how things go.

More coins.. I don't know, not easy to gain hashrates which makes the pool attractive.
I think autoswitching might make it easier to get miners to the pool..

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!

Hi, this is a known issue. You are mining and dashboard does show your hash-rate. But accidentally you are mining CSC: https://csc.hash.so/

You need to switch your workers to a different pool from the top left, using the drop down menu.

Sorry for the confusion, I'll fix it so that it defaults to the pool that you register from.

edit: Looks like you are an old user, so my fix wouldn't have helped.. any feedback on how I could make it more clear?

It's now possible to change coin you are mining from the mobile/tablet interface. It doesn't look great, but it works! As usual feedback welcome! :)

Also looking for a logo for the pool, I can pay some random coins for it (not very much tho, these servers are expensive :) ), please PM me with suggestions.

This is great! I've been using multipool, but I'd like to be able to choose not to mine certain coins that I don't want to deal with in trade. I'd like to be able to switch between just 2 or 3 possible coins. I like that I can do that from your interface without having to reconfigure my workers, because many of them are headless and some of them are remote.

I really like the idea of your pool.  I noticed that on some coins I was the only worker in the pool... I know I'm earning shares, but finding a block will be really slow this way so I wonder if I should stick to coins with a higher pool hash rate?  Anyways, please keep up the good work on this pool :) .

Thanks everyone for the kind words, means a lot to me!

Indeed some pools have quite low hash rate, some of them I think could eventually get some action, others (I'm looking at you MOON) I think can go away permanently :) The pool is still "new", I'm confident that all of my fancy pool switching things, fast servers, low fees and excellent support will eventually lead to more miners! It just takes a bit of time, and spamming (which I hate doing :(, sorry about that but it's needed or else I would still be mining alone).

Pool auto switching is currently my priority, I hope I can get it "done" during the weekend, and then improve it based on feedback.

Thank you all for mining with us!

Great to hear that, hope you can get the autoswitching done soon.  Be sure to base the autoswitching on your own calculations and not ssites like coinchoose or dustcoin which are quite rubbish sometimes.  Coinwarz is the most accurate but a little slow.  Good luck!

Seconding most of what parsona said. Looks a good pool, I've just switched one rig back to hashcows so that I can compare it to middlecoin over a few days. I'll have a look at hash.co after that. Your EAC price feed looks to be down, btw.

Thank you! I try my very best to keep it running smoothly. There are some issues every now and then, but all of them are minor things, like cron halting, which means stats aren't updating and payouts don't go out.

I made some progress with the pool auto switching, but in order for it to be useful I also need to add more coins. Which then lead me to do some major cleanup on how I add them. I should get the cleanups done today. After that I will add some nice coins for the switcher, and start a beta test. Beta will not have any fancy features. You will just connect to the port (1337), enable it, and it will switch between the coins. I want to make it work so that minimal amount of hashing is lost, when it switches the coin.

I'm somewhat worried about how the pool switching works with PPLNS, I might need to change the pools to PROP, or something else. Needs testing I suppose, if anyone has suggestions how it should work please let me know.

I also added :80 and :443 ports to the multi pool listener. This way people behind firewalls can also mine!

Something weird with TAG ? When I switch to TAG I get a few kh/s, maybe if lucky half of my current rate that CGMiner shows.
CGMiner shows me a hash on my single card at ca 250-300 Kh/s, depending on Intensity setting.
DOGE on the other hand is ok, CGMiner shows 100, 200 or 300 Kh/s, then my statistics on the pool show 100, 200 or 300.

I have to add, that I first started with DOGE, then used the web-interface switch to TAG. Maybe something to do with that?

Thanks for the detailed bug report. I'm fairly sure it's just a display bug (that happens because of my dashboard optimizations), your mining most probably is still counted correctly. I'll start debugging the issue.

Switched over to EU.. appears to be working now.

Thanks, yeah.. It's a network glitch between the servers, I have been trying to get my provider to fix it, but alas, I haven't made much progress. I'll move everyone to the EU stratum momentarily. The US server provider is not very good, I'll try to find a better host for it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm not able to reproduce this, but I'll try few more things. Just to make sure this isn't something simple, when you switched over to TAG did you wait watch the dashboard at least 10 minutes? That's how long it takes for the statistics to get accurate.

US stratum server is still offline, no user impact or actions required. Once it has been fixed I'll add it back (again no user impact/action required). I try very hard to make everything smooooth for the miners :)

I have waited the 10 mins - even more than that. Switching to DOGE is ok after the 10mins. But not TAG. Here a pic after ca 20 minutes.

Not a problem at all. I'm running the pool so obviously I'm more than happy to look into potential issues :)

The image you posted looks quite normal. The hash rate in the site is based on the number of shares you submit, so while it's quite accurate it's never going to display the same number as cgminer, because the number of shares varies based on luck :) So difference of ~10% is probably ok.

As a fellow pool operator I'd love to know how you managed to get the single sign-on working with MPOS. Currently hacking around with the code but haven't been very successful as yet.

Any chance you'd be interesting in sharing the tweak? :)

One of the best pools I've used in a long time! The ability to switch coins via website saves so much time vs logging into machines to change script. I would like to see more coins added preferably the most profitable alts; Do the site have a facebook/twitter page? I could help add likes and followers  :D

Please Add Klondike Coin and USDE Pools!

It was just bad pool luck combined with ever increasing difficulty. Eventually the block was found at 423%, which is bad, but nothing special. Those 400% blocks come and go, but it just sucks more on high diff coins :(

Nothing new to report on pool auto switcher or US stratum server. US server still has network issues so I'm not comfortable bringing it online, and the provider is utterly useless..

minerd supports stratum, you don't need stratum proxy for it. This is the one I tested it with:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=55038.0

If that doesn't work you can connect directly to stratum with ports starting with 33, like 3333 for CSC, 3339 for DOGE. Ports are mentioned in the pools front page. ports

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=55038.0

If that doesn't work you can connect directly to stratum with ports starting with 33, like 3333 for CSC, 3339 for DOGE. Ports are mentioned in the pools front page. ports

Now i feel stupid  :-[

It works fine, thank you.

Yeah, someone  tried to login to most of the accounts, which then locked most of the accounts. I unlocked everyone and blocked the hacker. You should be able to login again!

Hey Hash.so! Thanks for the help in IRC the other day getting my miner pointed to where I wanted it. I appreciate you taking the time in looking into it on the spot. It's nice to have a real person to talk to when there's an issue with the pool and friendly too!

Cheers!

Just tried it.
Launched test miner at stable 360kH/s.
First mined some DGC, then swithed to DOGE.

But DOGE earned amount has frozen for an hour now at 18,43277367, and 0.00 unconfirmed. I guess I just heat my room now   ???

Thank You miners, it's fun to run a pool for such a nice bunch! I'm currently migrating everything to a faster server. Most of the hard things have already been migrated, successfully and without downtime or stratum disconnects :) Should speed up the pool quite a bit, and most importantly allows us to add tons of new coins! Please let me know what coins I should add, and I'll get em added.

It takes a while, we only pay when we find blocks, which happen somewhat infrequently for doge but rest assured once we find a block, you will get DOGEs :)

Switched to Hash.so last night after my last pool wan unreachable for hours and so far everything is great. Currently mining Digitalcoins. My vote would be for Feathercoin. And my two cents, I would have chosen a different top-level domain as most people's first thought will be fraud/fake/unsafe.

Not sure what's your username, it was pretty crazy launch :)

Use port 3363 for SMC, (once it goes to past 1000 blocks, now we just wait).

SmartCoin had a good and very fair launch. But also tons of new users joined the pool which then lead to some frontend issues. I fixed things quickly, so it wasn't too bad and as usual no mining was lost, which is most important!

1. Can you add the ability to adjust the time offset for each user? I would like to view the times in my local time zone if possible.

2. For the coins that have it, Could you add a note to the autopayout that there will be a 0.01 fee for autopayout as well as the manual payout?

Thanks

1. Probably not, at least not easily. I might look at it briefly, but don't get your hopes up I have tons to implement.

2. This has come up quite a bit, I thought it was already there, but yeah it's only in the manual payout section. I'll add it also near the auto payout fields!

Yes, sorry it's a bit confusing. You need to add it "Account details" first (you can use 0 as an auto payment amount, but I suggest you enable auto payments as well, for obvious security reasons :)

I like the good solid hashrates from multipool but want the freedom to easily choose the coins which i want to mine.
Your pool is a perfect addtition to that and it has a nice growing flow of miners.

Keep it up. (currently mining Smartcoin).

Thanks for the kind words! I just recently started really driving miners to the pool. I wanted to make sure that it's stable before we add more miners.

I think I'll raise the fee to 1% within a week or so, this makes the pool generate income so I can spend it on servers! Or maybe I should just set everyone up with 1% donation that they can remove, I might try that first, it seems more fair and probably generates enough coins to pay for the servers.

Thank You all the miners! My pool would definitely have a different feel to it if you weren't there (ghost town) :)

May I make a little feature request? In the mobile site, add difficulty and related coin info (maybe in the stats page), it's very useful when choosing which coin to mine (which can already be switched on the mobile version). Thanks!

(and maybe a way to swap to a different coin frontend, without moving workers :) )

It's on my list of things to fix, I haven't been doing much to the mobile interface. But I will try to get these added soon!

Leaf pool went up insanely fast, and because of that we need to get more server. So our pool now defaults to 1% donation "fee", you can still remove/reduce/increase it if you wish. We hope that our pool is able to operate like this, and I don't see why it wouldn't.

Thank You for mining with us!

I'll resend them if we didn't send them, did you check your wallet if the coins arrived?

The "problem" thing happens when we can't get the transaction id back from the servers wallet. We mark it as "problem", so we can look into the issue and figure out if we transferred the coins or not. This was done to prevent double payout issue we had on one of our pools. Apparent leaf is also suffering from it.

TL;DR: Payout for "problem" transaction ids might be delayed, but I will make 100% sure you will get all of your coins!

Hey there.. been mining on hash for quite a while now. Not sure how long, but long enough to know I like it. Definitely a good pool, thank you for it.

Had an idea that I thought Id shre. Its just short of your goal of full switching. I'd like to see a checkbox option on the pool switching form. That would allow for the pool to find a block and then switch instead of switching immediately. I just hate leaving that bit of 'wasted' mining over there without getting all the way to the goal.

I know it's not actually wasted, and you get credited for the shares and all, but if you're the only one on a pool that may hang out for quite a while. I get the feeling that on sites like multipool et al quite a lot of work is wasted when they switch. So this might be a good thing to implement before you get all the way to autoswitching as well.

Anyway.. just a thought.
Thanks.

Probabilistically speaking, there is no reason to switch when a block is found (a new one can be found a second later...), it's just a psychological matter ;-)

Im sorry, but ever since i joined about what 4 days ago, ive been absolutly killed by your pool(s)...

came to mine LOT, wich is running great...

tried out TAG, but 3 out of 4 blocks went orphan...

been mining DOGE for 2(?) days now, and should have had 50k... i got 2,8k...

ur loosing big time(currently) on mining DOGE here... i dont know what is up, but we almost lost 50% hashing rate on the DOGE pool last 24 hours...
and at this rate, im forced to switch as well ?
also, with PPLNS that last 3 hours, and we only find blocks every 3h+(last 2 days its been roughly 24H a block), does that affect earnings ?

i really like the ability to insta switch my miners from one pool/coin to another.

but i do have a small problem about that... i got multiple worker, but when i use the quickswitch, all miners will end up on same minerlogin...

My workers got temporarily banned and when I reconnect it shows u'<username>.<worker name>

I am not sure what the u' stands for as it just appeared today and only happens on this pool.

If my account needs to be unlocked or something it's the same as this one.

It seems the doge mining has been poor recently.  How are we 320% into finding a damn block?  I've been earning less than half my usual amount in the last few days, but I'll give it a while longer and see how things stabilize.  I know the coin variance in small pools is large, but we are consistently lagged in finding blocks for some reason.

Yeah the Doge luck has been crap lately.. I bailed a couple days ago.. I figured that would mean 10 blocks found right away (usually does when I switch pools) !

Very busy at the moment. So going to be brief. Locked accounts have been unlocked. And we had issues today with the Pool switchers, it send some people to mine CSC (sorry, I know it's not worth much), and while fixing it, I did all the things I shouldn't have done. It didn't last very long, but well was still something I would have liked to avoid.

The dashboard displays errors quite easily currently, that's so that even if it becomes slow it will not affect mining! Server migration is in progress but has taken longer than I hoped, because I have been busy with the family and such.

I will post more updates soon!

I am getting block notifications to my e-mail even though I have them turned off in the notifications.
Is there a way to fix this so my e-mail doesn't constantly get send e-mails of a block found?

Thanks

Nevermind I fixed the issue it wasn't the specific pool I was mining at that send me notifications. It was the switched CSC one that kept sending me notifications. Turned off CSC and everything is okay.

Hello Hash.so

Been mining WDC all day (9 hours at 200KH/s).  Noticed that the dashboard showed LOTS of accepted shares but there are no transactions whatsoever.

The first time I mined in that pool for an hour, I got transactions very quickly.

I also verified that my payout address is correct.

What's going on here?

Is the TAG pool dashboard messed up? It's showing network difficulty at below 1.0. This is making it appear huge rewards on the estimators.

Any chance of getting Noblecoin on there?  Then I wouldn't have to switch out at all lol.

Thank you for the kind words! https://nobl.hash.so/ <- for you :)

Been mining WDC all day (9 hours at 200KH/s).  Noticed that the dashboard showed LOTS of accepted shares but there are no transactions whatsoever.
WDC has been quite unlucky so we haven't found a block yet :( I didn't really see anything wrong with the pool, but decided to restart all the daemons as a good measure.

WTF guys, i have 40% of rejected with the stratum+tcp://pool-eu.hash.so:1337/ !

Fuck that, i lost all my afternoon... not very serious of you !
It was very serious! I very seriously messed up and managed to edit a file in production while I thought I was making changes on my dev environment, this code then eventually started running (many hours after I had changed it) and it broke mining for a small % of our users. I'm very sorry about that.

I added some more pools today (we are up to 21 pools today, excluding MNC which I can't get to run reliably) New pools are:

https://rdd.hash.so/
https://dgb.hash.so/
https://peng.hash.so/
https://con.hash.so/
https://nobl.hash.so/
https://kdc.hash.so/

Server migration is mostly done, but because MPOS is awesome it actually made the frontend even slower :) Going to move things around a bit in the coming days to make it fast again.

Sorry about that (and the delay in response). I think my confirmations were incorrect, so I tried to pay out the coins before they had matured. So I tried to pay, when I didn't have any coins.

I resent the amount, sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for mining with us!

Unless you have a very high hashrate, it will take days to find a block.
Pool has 0 MH/s over a network hashrate of 8 GH/s...

Interesting, I'm not sure why it would generate less now. Maybe the difficulty has increased. Pool luck seems rather good at the moment (97% for past 24 hours):

https://dgc.hash.so/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks

QueryTime is meaningless for mining, it just tells you how long it took to fetch the stats, it's higher now because our DB and php frontend are running on different machines and MPOS does like 10000 queries for everything..

I've been locked out as well, i.tosca@gmail.com

I'm taking time off from the pool, so no new coins today. But tomorrow is a coin adding day, current list is: VOLT, FOX, POT, CORG, CASH, MEOW, SOL

Please let me know if you would like me to add some other coins, I want to get to 30+ coins tomorrow :)

yes, that's understandable, but ... miners this week has doubled, and the average search time block increased. it saddens. :-)

Thanks for the pool and features, very nice and easy.

Personally I would vote for an APAC server, hope you have enough users to make that happen.

I also get the same IP address for both the US and EU server, 176.9.189.118, so I guess that either one is not functioning...

<edit>
Seems that I always end up in Germany and the US server doesn't exist for me.

One more adjustment would be nice...

- Coin switcher dropdown in alphabetical order.

I accidentally ended up in DGC instead of DGB 'cause I thought it was already in order. My stupid mistake, but nonetheless, alphabetical order seems more logical.

Thanks.

US server had pretty bad network issues so I had to take it down. I removed it from the OP, but it's still listed on the pool, I'll take it away from there as well. I'm going to eventually add more stratum servers, and it's going to happen, just not sure when. Maybe in a month or so..

- Coin switcher dropdown in alphabetical order.
Yeah my sorting was not the best :) I set it to alphabetical order. I'm going to improve the dropdown and the left pool navigation next, it's super messy now.

LOVE your pool and the auto switching! Keep up the great work.

One suggestion I thought of: Would it be possible to have a page where it shows all of your coin balances (conf/unconf) in one place? Also possibly one where it lists # of workers, network rate, pool rate, difficulty, etc of each coin? That'd be awesome. :D

Yeah, it's slow. Balances appear to be updating correctly. Just the last found block time is innacurate.

I've been interested in miner pointing and how its done. I feel like you can setup TCP relays based on IP address but ideally I'd like something that does it at line rate with minimal latency.

Not sure what you mean, but yes the server is currently having some technical difficulties (DDoS, syn-flood against peng.hash.so). Mining was also interrupted for a 15 minutes, but is again working fine as usual.

Trying to get frontend online ASAP! Sorry for the inconvenience.

Need to use stratum+tcp://pool-eu.hash.so:portgoeshere

edit: Just an update, everything has been reconfigured and such, just waiting my crap DNS provider to make some changes and we will be back online.

Best pool I've ever used. Hope it will back online soon.
With that fast switching you can try to add Galaxycoin.
This is ones of most profitable "old" coin but for short period of time, only couple times per day if you switch on it in good moment.

Sounds like a good coin to add, I'll add it to the list.

Pool is back up, I needed to change my DNS host, so it might take an hour to propagate (or days, if someone is caching incorrectly). I'll try to work with my hosting provider to make sure this doesn't happen again. Most of the wait this time was due to DNS, so next time it will be faster regardless.

The actual DDoS attack was not very interesting. Basic SYN flood against penguincoin stratum port (peng.hash.so:3375), I easily blocked it, but then my provider decided to nullroute the IP, which then generated some bad time for everyone. Mining was mostly not affected by this.

glad things are back to normal!!

IT would be pretty cool if you could have the ability to auto-switch miners based on the most profitable coin... :-)

I'm having this issue as well.  Hash.so, I'm trying to investigate this by checking the blockchain but I'm unable to get the full transaction ID from your UI.  Could you help to fix this?  Much appreciated, thanks!

Just wanted to say "Thanks" for hosting these pools.

I like the ability to change coins so easily.  I've had fun watching over the coins and selecting the one that I wanted to mine at that point in time.  So much so, that I ordered the hardware for another 2MH/s to add to my scrypt miners.

Hey Hash.so

i love your site, especially you have the most profitable coins at this time and you web switcher is great. My question, we haven`t had any news for a while on the Profit switcher.
at night i point my miners at another pool that does profit switching since i can`t do it manually, but i would love to leave everything here  24hrs/day

any updates to give is on it.?

thanks

Hey there..
Been checking in over the last week, and getting no hints on the IRC channel so thought Id ask here.

Whats up with DOGE? Steady 45 or more Mhash on the pool every time I've checked in, yet no blocks for a week. I had to switch my mining to other pools for a while, even though this is my favorite. A lot of the time Doge is just too profitable to ignore, even though I do like a lot of the alternatives you provide.

..any plans on bringing it back? Just really really bad luck?

Also, for those who ask for updates on individual transfers to Cryptsy. ..I hope you're waiting at least a day before panicking on this. They can be faster then that, but often they are just really really slow. Of course if the transaction isn't even started that isn't the problem, but they're pretty well known for being slow. This is -especially- true when they're busy. So if theres some big rally, dont plan on sending your coins and getting in on it within the hour. Too many stories, and my own experience over quite a lot of transfers show its just not going to happen.

The dogecoin pool on hash.so is too low on hashrate to have a good possibility of finding a block.  You will need to join a bigger dogecoin pool to get any coins in a decent time.

Leafcoin transfers from Hash.so to cryptsy is not working.  There is no transaction in the leaf blockchain itself.  Its not about cryptsy being slow.  OP hasn't been around to answer any queries recently so it is a little worrying.

Great site and I love the switching feature! A few suggestions:

1. Please add NYAN coin, CRAFTcoin (#1 on coinchoose most of the time), ORBIT (#1 on coinchoose a lot of times).

2. Your doge pool does not show TX ID, so Cryptsy doesn't give me the coins I sent from your pool because I have NO PROOF. The transactions tab under doge.hash.so does not show hyperlinked TX ID where I can click or copy and paste.

3. Please add a second pool switching drop down menu like the one you have to switch workers to let user browse to the other pool  WITHOUT switching the workers just to check out the pool difficulty and I do this sometimes on my phone or even PC and its not as easy as a dropdown.

4. The homepage hash.so and www.hash.so both go to csc.hash.so. Is that how you designed it? Doesnt make sense.

5. Would you please make a main page that shows the status of all your pools in one page? like your home page? like people talk about your automatic switching, I have no idea where to find it.

6. Your DOGE pool is stuck and doesnt find a block. Something is happening. Wasted a lot of hours of my rig on that.

My leaf transfers to https://www.coinmarket.io/wallet are almost instant. Unlike Cryptsy that I cant deposit ANYTHING ANYMORE without the coins never arriving, opening a ticket, getting a response that I have to prove myself, then digging in the pool TX ID and replying back to Cryptsy and waiting another 24 hours. Cryptsy is getting really bad.

All of your transactions are in the blockchain, you can look up the TX IDs from there :)

Server at Hetzner in Germany. Fail  :D
Not very constructive feedback, what's wrong with Hetzner? And do you have suggestions for a better host? (because hetzner has issues, I'm just curious if our issues are the same)

6. Your DOGE pool is stuck and doesnt find a block. Something is happening. Wasted a lot of hours of my rig on that.
1) Added to the list. I'll try to do another coin add sprint during the weekend. Current list is:

rapid, mint, karmacoins, titcoin, dopecoin, neocoin, chncoin, fastcoin, franco, litecoin, galaxycoin, sexcoin, bottlecaps, lemoncoin, xivra, binarycoin, bit gem, cosmoscoin, cinnamoncoin, stablecoin, grandcoin, starcoin, hobonickels, ORBIT, CRAFTcoin, NYAN

We will see how that goes :)

2) This is going to get fixed today or tomorrow

3) There is now a "Coin list" hoover thing in there, it's just a rough first pass, but I think it's already very useful.

4) It doesn't make much sense, but I just haven't had time to do a proper homepage yet. Functionality before glitter :)

5) I will, most of the information will probably also be available from the hoover dropdown, it's going to be good :)

6) Doge pool is indeed sad, but no matter how I look at it, or do things to it. It just doesn't look broken. It's just bad luck :(

Thanks for the feedback!

And thank you everyone for mining with us!

why can I no longer login?   Used my e-mail, that I registered with but that hasn't worked & I don't wish to lock my account...currently mining both leafcoin & smartcoin on your pool.  Also is there a max password length?   I use 20+ character passwords & that might be the problem.

I figured out the problem, your site will only accept max 20 character passwords.  Mine was 32 so I typed in the first 20 with success, password must have been truncated during sign-up without my knowledge (no warring during reg).  I have been using the browser feature to auto login feature (lazy) so I had no problems till login required e-mail instead of username.

How are all these accounts getting locked? I have never had my account locked and I am mining 24/7 and on the hash.so site every day.

Added FlapCoin: https://flap.hash.so/

More coins to be added today and tomorrow! I hope to get some kind of alpha release of auto switcher ready during the weekend, it will not have a ton of options at first, but at least it will be a start. Also once I have the switcher ready, I'll probably start collecting 1% flat fee, donation based model doesn't really seem to be working. Donation % keeps going lower and lower as time goes on, and it's currently at around 0.2%, which pays for the servers but not much else :)

What's up with the kittehcoin pool? seems to be broken...
We ended up mining on the wrong fork :( The coin devs didn't give pool much time to upgrade and I missed the fork. When I noticed it I killed the pool. It's not easy to repay the lost coins, so we just have to collectively split the losses (I everything that was in my wallet, which wasn't much). The pool has been reset, and you can mine there again if you'd like.

Any idea why I cannot connect with two workers? Both are behind NAT/
Nat should not be a problem. Did you try to connect to pool-eu.hash.so:443 or pool-eu.hash.so:80 those might help you get connected. If it still doesn't work, can you come to IRC, it's easier to debug such issues in there.

Sorry for the inconvenience :( Older version of MPOS indeed just truncated the password to 20 chars, current limit is 100, which should be relatively safe.

mail instead of the login is not working.
Can you come to IRC and we can figure it out. Or you can login to https://moon.hash.so/ with your username to check your email settings.

Any news on getting an auto-switch coin pool? would need to convert to LTC or BTC the payment.

if you need help pm me, maybe there is something i could do to help.

set the coin list on alphabetic order, easier to find.

Please add amount held next to coin name on left side list. Dif would be nice as well to know until the auto is up. Also maybe a checkbox to display the pool list, it is getting freakishly large and will only get worse "I'm assuming.

Great Works so far. Also, so am I to understand you will be charging an additional 1% to use the auto switch when it gets released? During the beta period as well? I would think using it until the bugs are worked out will actually cost in the long run. Also I abhor paying to beta test anything. I guess I'm just old school and feel my time is worth something.

The auto switcher doesn't convert anything (at first at least). That's called auto trading, eventually that'll also come, but I have no timeline for it.

I'm hoping to have time to work on the switcher during the weekend. It's not a lot of work, but I have just been busy.

If you mean the "POOL LIST" on the header bar, you can click on the coin name and it will sort the list.

SXC coming soon (today or tomorrow, hopefully). I needed to reset the pool back to zero, more here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=402076.msg5226936#msg5226936).

Have you seen the "POOL LIST" dropdown menu on the top, it already has Diff in it, and I'm going to be adding more features to it soon. I'm not sure what to do with the left menu yet, maybe I'll just move it under everything, I like to use ctrl+f to find the coin I want to look at, fast and efficient (for me:))

As for the pool switcher/fees. It's just going to be 1% fee for everything, switcher and coins. I think it's reasonable. I'm currently paying the servers out of my pocket and while it's fun and all, it's getting somewhat expensive, currently I pay around 400€/month for the servers.

Not very constructive feedback, what's wrong with Hetzner? And do you have suggestions for a better host? (because hetzner has issues, I'm just curious if our issues are the same)

1. Hetzner sells you Destop PCs as server.
2. They null route and block your server for many hours if you get a small DoS attack lol
3. Germany has insane laws regarding internet

For a european network you should choose a server in the Netherlands (i.e. i3d.net) or in France (i.e. OVH).

I have an idea which would be uber-cool and most probably not TOO hard to implement: "Pay-out and switch pool" (short POASP).

With POASP, my account settings would have a limit for the currently mined currency and a select box with the available pools (like you already have for pool-switching.

I would enter a limit, the pool to switch to, and once the limit is reached the system would do a (complete) payout for this currency and switch to this preselected pool.
And because POASP would be a currency/pool-dependent setting I could do this for other currencies as well.

Choosing a fixed pool to switch to doesn't make sense.
It would need to be an automatic choice based on difficulty, block reward and maybe something else.
So first make automatic switch; then different trigger conditions (including payout threshold) can be implemented.

Title: can´t switch workers?
Post by: Sticker87 on February 23, 2014, 05:26:42 PM
Hi all!

Just joined hash.so and this coin switching thing is brilliant! But... I have yet to get it working. The problem is this:

1. I joined by creating an account at your moon pool (moon.hash.so).

2. I pointed ten or so workers at stratum+tcp://pool-eu.hash.so:1337 (so far so good, cgminer on my rigs shows I´m connected, shares are being submitted, ect.)

3. I used the top right dropdown menu to switch my workers to moon

This is when I run into a problem. My moon.hash.so -dashboard showed my hashrate to be zero and no workers being connected. After reading through this forum I discovered that for some reason I was mining CSC and I cannot switch. When I use the dropdown menu to swith my workers to another pool I get the notification saying:

"Workers switched to MOON. This only works if miners are pointed to stratum+tcp://pool-eu.hash.so:1337/ or stratum+tcp://pool-us.hash.so:1337/"

And that´s it, my workers are still mining CSC. Moon is the one I currently want to mine but I also tried switching to other coins to no effect.

So... I´d be greatful if someone can tell me what did I do wrong?

BTW, any chance Dnotes Coin could be added to the site?

I´d really REALLY like this worker switching issue solved as I have about 15 MH/s hashing power spread on a dozen rigs and reconfiguring cgminer everytime I want to switch coin is a pain.

Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon because I've just recently set my miners to start mining Digibyte without any sort of confirmation from the pool hashrate indicator.

In times like these it would be a lot easier to have a URL for each coin instead of stratum+tcp://pool-us.hash.so:1337/ so we know for sure our miners are mining the correct coin.

Edit: Actually my miners are still being sent to CORG even though I switched to DGB

No, I didn´t see that notification. It seems to be only on the Digibyte pool site. There are no issues with the CSC (that I´m now stuck mining) dashboard page, I can see my hashrate, balances and everything. Withdrawals are working too, tested this by sending 200 CSC to my cryptsy account.

Also if I set my workers to moon only -stratum (found on the "getting started" section) I can mine moon no problem, hashrate indicator works and so forth.

The pool just look at each other and solve the problem of their clients. This is a warning and possibly a mirror for the future conduct of their breadwinner. "I'm busy at the moment, can you pop to IRC and we can figure out what the issue is.

It sounds like you might have incorrect capitalization on your username or worker name, it works, but you would be stuck mining CSC.

I'll respond to the thread later, when I have time to go through all the messages. Thanks for mining with us (hopefully soon ;))"

Thanks for the quick reply, it was indeed incorrect capitalization that was causing the issue. Coin switching now works like a charm! I just set my donation percentage to 1.5 and I´ll up it to 2 by the end of the week if everything keeps running smoothly.

BTW: Any chance of having that DNotes pool so I could switch all my miners to Hash. So? Right now I´m using only 1/3 of my rigs to mine mooncoin...

From the info that you posted, I read that you want to be able to switch individual workers to specific coins from the web page.  If that is correct, currently, I have not found a way to do that either.

The coin switching option is tied to the user account only.  So when you select a new coin to mine, it switches your workers of your account to the new coin, but only the workers using port 1337.

It would be nice to be able to have the option to switch specific workers only.

I only have a few scrypt miners, but I have two of them on port 1337 and one of them on the port for a specific coin (SOL port 3385).  With this setup of course, I can only use the web page to auto-switch two of the miners.  The "SOL" miner has to be changed from the console by me if I want to mine a different coin.

OK.  I just spent a few minutes to read about multiminer on github and it looks like you can just setup each pool you want to use by their specific ports.  At hash.so to see each coins specific port that it uses, select the "Getting Started" link while on that coins pool page.

EDIT NOTE:  BTW, reddcoin (https://rdd.hash.so/index.php?page=gettingstarted) uses port 3371

That's the info I was looking for, because everytime I switch to another pool, the dashboard kept saying port 1337, so I was asking myself how does the server know which coin I'm mining? that's when I noticed inthe corner you have to do it manually.  However, if there are different port numbers for each coin then I can do it, but I didn't see that info in the pool.  I just noticed after switching to the pool, in the getting started section it shows the port.  So in that case I only need one worker, I just need to specify the port number in multiminer for each specific coin. Thanks!

Ugh, should have gotten to this sooner, sorry! Going through everything in one go is not fun :)

any chance to get API access for coin switching?
Not yet, but I'll get it added, no ETA, working on other stuff first.

Thanks for the server suggestions. I don't care that the "servers" are desktops, I need to have extras anyways, this way is just cheaper. The problem I have is they will null route quite small attacks, which I work around by having a pool of IPs, so if they null route an IP, I can just switch everything to new IPs. It would be the same with other providers, but they might allow larger attacks. (none will allow multi GBit attacks for extended periods of time, at least not cheaply)

I have an idea which would be uber-cool and most probably not TOO hard to implement: "Pay-out and switch pool" (short POASP).

And that´s it, my workers are still mining CSC.
As discussed in IRC, If you end up mining CSC on port 1337 it means username or worker name has incorrect capitalization (UsErname vs. username). I'll need to change it so that it works consistently and correctly, or that you get an error if you do it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I really LOVED it that you pre-announced the start of Rubycoin and the pool was ready to start

Will you do this more often?
Thanks! I will try to do it more often, coin launches are fun :)

I'll get fastcoin added to the pool. It's an annoyingly fast coin, so its profitably might not be as great as it looks because it can have a lot of orphans.

Want to say your site is great.  The coin switching is clean simple and wonderful.  One of the best pools I've come across as far as usability.  Its a multicoin pool done right each coin has full statistics, coin changes are a click away.  Not tied into auto-switching based on profitability is a plus for me.  Looking forward to what is to come.

Need any server admins or developers?

As we talked in IRC, we only allow one payout address into our system, and you tried to use same one for two accounts.

Come to IRC and we can figure it out.

Sadly no ETA yet :( Been busy with non pool related things, hopefully get more time to work on it next week. I have made at least some progress, but maybe it was also a little bit more complex than I anticipated.

What about adding Auracoin?
I think you meant AuroraCoin: http://auroracoin.org/ if so, it's probably going to be added soon.

I had hoped for this as well but we've missed the boat with the current difficulty, it's more profitable to mine litecoin now.

True, would have been cool to get in on that action while it was hot. Speculations on AUR is bad, they saying that its all downhill from here. Now I'm not sure which coin to mine, RDD seems decent, but concentrating on Flappy and hoping it takes off a bit.

This may not be the most popular notion, but please add a LTC pool. It seems as though with the price of LTC growing, altcoins are falling behind it and will be until it stops growing and they can get ahead of it again. It makes LTC mining a safe bet when other coins are all over the place at night. I'm actually sorta surprised that there are 40 coins and there isn't a LTC pool.

It'd be nice so I (and others) can stay on hash rather then going to a different site when LTC goes up.

Our frontend (www/cron) server failed today. Not a huge issue, but some crons were delayed by quite a bit. Everything should be fixed (except EAC, which is still a bit messed up). If you see issues please let us know.

I think the boat for AUR already sailed, diff is already too high. If you poke me enough, I might end up adding it anyways.

LTC Pool is now up! https://ltc.hash.so/ Happy hashing. It will take a while to get enough hashers in there, but I'll try hard to make it happen!

Please add a lower withdrawal then 1 ltc if possible, that's way too high for most people.

Hi !
You helped me see check why this phenomenon. Is 1 large coin DGB his was stolen from the pool or cheat? The total amount of coins they earn is 21,596 coins, however I only receive pennies + 17.719 +fee + tx free  = 18,000 VND.  3,596 other coins not know where are you? Admin hash.so pool early check yourself and for your answers offline. If not, then just eat less hash.so pool their pennies, so I'll definitely moving pool # only.

WE've hit 2 blocks in 2 days in the new LTC Pool. We Need more Hash.

2 in 2 days is great but alot of hash is leaving.

Advertise to shitcoin pools and get us some hash or this pool will fail.

I'll wait 1 more day before moving on and if it goes below 100mh then it's a lost cause.

Hey Hash.so devs, you rock. I have a request which will be a boost for both the miners and the pool (cause u'll have a lot of new miners. You allow us to switch pools via webserver, why not allow scheluded switching?

I could give you several examples how this would be helpful. I'm a web developer and I'd be more then happy to implement this change for you, just send me a PM if you are short on time, I'll find the time to do it! (mostly during weekends though)

Keep up the good work. I think you guys had 0% time in a month. If you didn't, you recovered from the crashes so fast my auto-mailler didn't have time to trigger x) Great job! I never donate via fee, but rest assure I will donate some Bitcoin for every good sale I make with coins mined in your pool ;) (the only reason I didn't do it yet is because I'm holding every single DOGE at current price).

I am currently having difficulty putting in my payment address on my LTC account. After I put in the details it says 'account details updated' but it does not update the payment address and just goes back to the edit account screen.

I am unable to withdraw my LTC because of this.

I have already sent an email several days ago that has not been responded to yet, what else can I do to get this issue resolved? It's the only problem I've ever experienced with the pool.

Edit: I got an automated email saying that too many invalid pin attempts were made and the account was auto-locked. I follow the link to unlock the account but I get the message 'Could not unlock account: Invalid Token'

Solved: you cannot use the same withdrawal address for multiple accounts.

I have seen if you get invalid token then immediately resign in and the token is accepted i think it's a new mpos bug.

And the LTC pool is great!  Doge Daemon dies too often though need to set it to reload every hour or so.

Please work on a vertcoin pool. ASICs are definitely upon us and it's going to be one of a few coins that will be profitable soon till the other scrypt coins start forking. It's already starting to top coinwarz on a daily basis, which is a good sign asics are doing their magic even if they aren't available to the general public.

Sorry been extremely busy with real life, so near to zero progress on pool front, no new coins, no progress on any dev efforts :( I just try to keep it functional. Sadly some frontends get confused quite often and lack of time means they will stay like that for 0-24 hours, depending how my schedule looks like.

I would really like to spend more time for the pool, but currently it's just not possible. Sorry :( Hopefully I can devote more time for it in the future. Thank you for mining with us!

(LTC pool has been insanely lucky ;))

I would really like to spend more time for the pool, but currently it's just not possible. Sorry :( Hopefully I can devote more time for it in the future. Thank you for mining with us!

(LTC pool has been insanely lucky ;))

can you please fix the RBBT payout problem its being a week already and our Credit stuck

Hi, I would really love it if you could add 66 coin to your list of pools, we are making some progress making the coin recover... it was abandoned at some point by original development team and it's starting to gain some hashpower back. It would be of a great help to us if it gets that much publicity, here's our thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=493987

The pool is becoming obnoxiously slow when engaging miners (sometimes taking 30 minutes before getting work to the miners). Not sure what this means, but that delay has been getting progressively worse. Last night after waiting for that I finally moved to a FLT pool.

I hope things clear up and you can start supporting the pool again, but it definitely looks like hash needs some loving.

When are we getting a few new coins, there has been quite a few new decent coins that popped up and it makes me want to jump to other pools since its not on here :( and I dont like touching my happy miners, especially since there is such a nice structure on this site to allow me to move miners on the site and not in my config files.

Yup... definitely need some Scrypt-N for the transition and FLT as it's still pretty solid.

I do really hope you keep up with the pool dude. This is one of the few pools I've been on that doesn't skim coins (or skims only a couple %). I get pretty close to what coinwarz estimates (within 5% variance or so). Other pools I'm lucky if I get 85% of what's suggested, sometimes down to 50-60% averaged over a few days.

I think a lot of pools think miners don't check... but a lot do and it does make a difference.

You could probably disable the unused coin pools or unprofitable ones to reduce the amount of work you have to do on upkeep so you can add more pools that people want to use.

Good suggestion.  I used hash.so exclusively for awhile when I first got started.  I loved the coin switch on the site as I am in front of a computer most of the day and could easily switch on to whatever I wanted.  Had a few issues similiar to whats been mentioned recently and have not been back.  May give it another try.

I have a question - I joined and see the list fo coins you can mine on the left- but I don;t see where you select which coin to mine?
2nd) you you have to have a separate address to be paid out for each type if coin?
3rd) is this pool auto switching or do I have to select the coin and if so - how do I select the coin - it's not readily apparent other than seeing a list on the left side of the home page

finally - I see some miners with certain btc amount/day next to their names in the pool list - is it possible to see what type of coin they're mining?

thanks in advance

same thing on p2pool. from 250 to 80 payout.

I think there is something wrong with Doge. This happened a few times over the last month. But a few days a go my payments went from 200 to 600. so I'm thinking it evens out but I haven't done the math. It is weird since the random payment is gone and my hash has not changed.

TLDR: I think it's Coin wide payout, not specific to Hash.so

Auto-payouts have obviously not been working. Is there any kind of status update whatsoever? I'm really hoping I didn't flush my rental btc down the toilet.

Yeah, I'm on NET coin now and either Coinwarz is messed up or hash is putting out 25% of the normal coins.

This is unfortunate after I made the post about being one of the few pools that doesn't skim. I don't know what's going on here, but I hope things are just slightly broken right now... Although it would be weird to be getting some coins and not all of them. Considering the spikes on NET and POT I've lost out on that's a decent chunk of money.

Well, it looks like hash-so is going to have to be renamed "Coward Karpeles" he refuses to respond to any inquiries here, on IRC or through support on his pool.

I think maybe he's pissed off his Mother and she won't let him play on the computer any longer. I suspect we'll see another pool very similar to hash.so open up here in a few days, and he'll be right back at it again until he has tons of peoples coins locked up and steals them as well.

coinmine.pl (haven't tried)
poolwarz.com (by coinwarz, lacks coins and is having growing issues right now such as staying connected)
cryptovein.com

Cryptovein is a p2p pool, which sorta defeats the purpose of coin changing as it takes you a day to earn any amount of income when switching between coins. Some coins don't have anyone mining them even though the intro page shows otherwise.

It's really hard finding a pool that doesn't skim. I'm currently getting FLT off dedicatedpools and they only give you about 80% of the coins you should. Cryptovein looks pretty decent, but it's still a p2p pool. I would trust poolwarz as they're actually trying to sell a service instead of someone setting up a pool on a spare computer they have laying around and then skim off of it, but they're having issues at the moment.

It's sad hash went down this way, it was a good couple months while it lasted, but I've spent the last week there and coins are being skimmed (75% missing the last time I was on doge), the pool hasn't been updated (POT is still on the wrong fork), or shits just broken. There are a ton of guys on POT on there that will never see any of it.

I'll have to check out coinmine, but popular coins (like doge) don't have anyone mining them.

p2pool doesn't let you switch coins with a button on the page like the other guy was asking, which is something I also want in a pool.

Setting up individual pools in CGwatcher or multiminer which is what I use takes more time... much more time, depending on how many machines you have. Having to adjust pools constantly is also timely. Finding pools all the time that don't skim when you want to switch a coin is also costly. Making sure all the pools in your clients database are up to date instead of one pool is also sometimes a very costly mistake. A pool with a switcher is much more convenient and really the future. People shouldn't be using pools that either don't have a auto-switcher or manual switcher as it's functionality that should be built into higher end pools.

Demand more from your service, you're paying for it (sometimes unwillingly).

I can't believe that there are STILL of people (58mh worth) mining on pot.hash.so even though nobody seems to have any idea what's going on with it. The front end and payouts stopped working 4 days ago, and there has STILL not been even a hint of an update from staff. It wouldn't bother me so much if I hadn't leased 5 rigs in addition to my own to min POT right before things went down the toilet. It's not the end of the world, but it will take me several days of mining to make up what I paid to rent the rigs.

The only thing I can think of that would excuse such horrendous apathy would be if the site owner is neck deep in hookers and blow somewhere. I can only hope.

Don't use Hash.so if you actually want to see and withdraw the coins you mined...

I will stop mining on your website in few hours. So if you don't repair it byebye...

The payouts are blocked since 1month ago, when you will repair that???

Be careful using this website, more than 1 month for repair a problem is not normal.

Hey
Hash.so

My account is locked for 1 week.

I do not know why but I have not received email for unlocking it.

Are you stopping the pool?

Are trying to make all miners run from you?

Looking like they turned into thief's.

Used to be a great pool. LTC pool was starting to look great as well wonder why they did this?

Glad I only have a few days worth of coins.

Let this be a lesson guys never keep more than a day or 2 on a pool.

Lame.

I came here to see what was going on after seeing the shutdown posting on the Pool. :(

Too bad it was a good pool. I mined there for monthes with no troubles. I always got my payments.

Claims of no support.. so what?! It ws up until very recently a free pool, of course theres no support. The thing generally worked, and kept up with most new coins. It did better then many other pools that Ive tried.

The only way you can lose a large number of coins at a pool is by not paying attention. You get to set the payments, you get to set how much sits in the pool. There is NO reason to leave large amounts of coin sitting on any pool. Its foolish to do so. If you let your miners run for a long period without paying out, then its your problem. Watch your miners.

Sorry to see you go hash.so You were a good pool.

Man, don't talk when you don't know what you are talking about.

I agree it was the best pool, good admin, ect, ect, but the communication was bad.

Since more than one month ago, we can't get our Digibyte coin, because the administrator telling us he will repair the problem, but finally 1 month after it, he close the pool and said "we can't give you the coins" .....

Now ok, it's over, good luck admin in the futur, but you "mystix" pls don't tell me if i paying attention or not about my coin in this pool.

Not kidding.

You can't lose what you don't keep on pools long term. Keep an eye on your miners and your wallets, if you stop getting payments, you stop mining that pool. Done.

Instead what we have here is people whining for days about how they built up millions of coin and cant get payouts. ..then they continue to complain about how they kept on building up coins even after that point. That is ridiculous.

Watch your miners. Watch your wallets. When 1 of the 2 stop functioning as expected, move to a different pool. Do that and you can't lose large numbers of coin on a pool, ever.

If you want to be lazy and come back in 2 weeks without getting any payouts, then expect instant support from someone who has consistantly said he has a life outside the pool. Well that is your problem not his.

POSTED NOW ON POOL

Great job not updateing OP or bumping this thread Prick.

Thx for the Lost coins and stuck Payments as well AssHat.

Quote
Pool is closing end of April. If you have any coins anywhere, please setup an auto payout / request manual payout. Some pools have forked, so we might have lost some coins. Some pools are just stuck, those I will fix before I close everything down.

Thank You for mining with us. And I'm deeply sorry I let you down. My life just got too busy a while ago :(

I might end up handing over all the software to a friend of mine, who might start the pool again, so watch this space! :)

Happy mining,
Hash-so

To anyone thinking this pool(s) a scam, has not been around long enough to realize they jumped from 1-5 coins to over 30 within two months time.
The admin did an amazing job when there was a few coins with large hashing power for each. I can understand how busy things may have gotten and with the recent down swing in prices it may not be worth it to keep up a server with that much dedicated power, and time. There is now an ANN on top of the pages at hash.so
I have been paid out over 2.5m Doge, 40 LTC, and 1.5m CSC from hash.so alone over the course of the last few months.
When i started noticing less communication and support I switched pools. You should have done the same. Atleast you didnt get goxxed.

Indeed, we lost some coins fork bad forks, and good forks that I just missed because I was away :(

Anyways, the pool is closing down at least temporarily. I might start it up again if I can recruit few friends to help out with it. If other people are also working with you, it adds peer pressure which makes it harder to bail on the project (as happened here).

Anyways, most of the pools are currently a bit fucked up. I'll get them fixed and issue payouts before I shut the pool down.

I'm sorry for bad times near the end. Happy mining, and I hope to see you all again when/if we relaunch!

For anyone that used to mine at Hash.so because of the ease of switching, I've found an even better pool that has all the same features and way more extras. You can either mine automatically what ever is the most profitable, or switch your miner by the click of a button.

The pool has so many extra things, it shows you all the hash rates of each coin, how many miners and pool hash rates of each coin and the profitability of each coin....ALL ON ONE PAGE....

Here's a link: http://coinmine.pw/index.php (http://coinmine.pw/index.php)

So dgb.hash.so is actually down now. Guess I can kiss my 60k DGB goodbye :(

Dont worry, I lost coins there, too. Problem was that they said they will fix wallet issues in the backend so
I wasn't able to payout. Anyways, I hope he meets anyone in real life that had coins in there  ;)
