All suggestions are welcome since our goal is to make this launch as successful as possible. In fact, we're willing to give everyone who offers constructive advice early access to the pre-mine launch.

The reason why we went with the SHA algo instead of Scrypt was purely from an adoption perspective. With the publicity Bitcoin has received over the past year, it appears the general (non-tech) public are more likely to seek out SHA currency which has a more mature and defined hardware ecosystem. We're essentially targeting the mass market who may not easily distinguish between the different algorithms. Again... we'd love to hear your thoughts on this approach.

Although the wallet has been created, we're more than happy to revisit the tech approach if it meets our goals more effectively. We basically want to release this coin the right way instead of dumping it on the market and crossing our fingers.

We're excited to initially report that a few major players in the adult entertainment industry have expressed an interest in Titcoin. We can't announce who they are before the launch, but it is looking more likely that Titcoin will be a legitimate currency that can be used to satisfy all of your adult entertainment needs.

We're working to solidify a few deals in the next few weeks, and we'll keep the community posted on any progress.

On a side note, there have been a handful of Titcoin clones that have popped up recently. Feel free to mine them at your own risk. All we can say is that the official Titcoin currency that our partners are agreeing to accept has not been released to the public yet. In fact, only 2 individuals currently have the wallet, and only 40 blocks have been pre-mined for testing purposes.

We've been getting a ton of inquiries and support from the general cryptocurrency community and from members in the adult entertainment industry. The pre-launch announcement above re: the pre-mine period has been updated.

In short, with all the initial support, the last thing we want is for the pre-mine participants to blow out the difficulty level before Titcoin hits the public. On the other hand, we want to make sure initial supporters garner enough early coins to become vested in the long term success of Titcoin. We're trying to figure out how to create a balance that favors everyone.

We'll have more clarity in the coming weeks.

@cryptohunter and others who dislike sha256: the choice for SHA-256 was not taken lightly, this has been the subject of numerous debates. While there are some strong advantages of Scrypt and other CPU-based mining algorithms, SHA-256 was chosen since it fits better in the long-term strategy of the coin.

@delphs: Sexcoin had a completely different launching strategy than we do. We will release the coin once enough adult industry partners have confirmed that they will support the coin. This is in our opinion the most essential step to make a coin for the adult entertainment work.

@Bozuatle: when creating a new coin, the adult entertainment partners can invest in a share of that coin by mining the coin. As a result, it is not only in the interest of miners and traders that the coin has a strong value. The industry that accepts this coin will also care about the value of the coin which will eventually give it a more stable value.

We are currently finalizing the details for a cooperation with three major adult industry partners.
If everything goes well we can conclude the agreements soon and proceed with the launch of the coins.

Tittiecoin's announcement came after our first announcement and released without any support from adult entertainment businesses. It might be a coincidence that TittieCoin came out only a few weeks later but it is certainly creating confusion.

So what sets us apart from the other adult entertainment coins?
Sexcoin launched the exact same way as every other coin. They put the wallet on the market and crossed their fingers that people would accept it, and then crossed their fingers again that the adult industry would support it. Looking at their progress over the past year, it's a stagnate coin with no support. We are working hard (and that is why the coin is not out there yet) to provide industry support prior to the launch. Our industry partners will have an interest in the coin since they will receive a portion of TitCoins for their support. We have connections in the adult entertainment sector and are sitting around the table with major adult entertainment businesses every week. The startegy for TitCoin and the commercial support will be in place prior to launch.

I love titties, they are wonderful, but how are you going to handle the extremely high possibility of underage girls using their breasts to pay for things and then their pictures (aka kiddie porn) being processed across your servers/network/users?  I have a feeling that the DOJ and other alphabet governmental agencies may take an interest and attempt to shut it down or just make it illegal to use this coin.

I know theres the whole unregulated thing and a bunch of other issues that my questions may raise that even I'm not aware of and all that, but again I ask, how will Titcoin deal with the extremely high possibility of underage porn being processed across the network?

I received word that Titcoin is going to be added to PayServices.com thanks to our friends over at BitCentavo. I haven't fully explored their merchant offerings yet, but this looks like something that will give merchants more options to integrate Titcoin into their payment platform (including offline Point of Sales proessing). July 1st is when they said it would be tentatively added, but that's just a ballpark. I'll make a more formal announcement when I get a confirmation.

Second, our conversation with Nick Guccione (aka Penthouse Magazine) has started up again. Long story short, he's interested in developing an adult coin for his lines of business, and asked us to help him. In exchange, he's going to pair and accept Titcoin on his various eZine platforms. In addition, we will be getting a share of their premine which we will be offering back to the Titcoin community either as an exchange or giveaway. This is all preliminary as we hammer out the details.

Latest update.

A new dominatrix has started to accept Titcoin for her services. What is most promising is that she is in the process of developing her own crypto-cam website with 10 models already signed up... who plan to accept Titcoins. What we should point out is she reached out directly to us instead of us contacting her. This is an example of how well-known Titcoin is in the adult industry, and we should continue to receive inquiries like this in the future.

To dispel any rumors, we are NOT going to be delisted from CoinPayments payment processing. They will be making an announcement within the next few days to confirm that we are still part of their crypto payment processing services.

I finally spoke to the GuccioneCoin team about our future partnership. Long story short, they will be giving us a portion of their pre-mine which we will be distributing back to the Titcoin community in some fashion. More details to come on how much and how it will be distributed.

Check out PayServices.com. They had a bit of a hiccup over the summer due to the Greece Euro crisis.  However, today Titcoin has been added to their platform. They are well funded and have big ambitions to develop the next generation crypto / multi monetary payment processing platform. This is yet another example of our efforts to simplify Titcoin acceptance and increase adoption.

The GuccioneCoin partnership is still in place. If you recall, we met with Nick Guccione personally last year to discuss his coin and future plans. Just letting the community know that we're in the process of re-connecting with all of our contacts again. The Bitcoin market has been getting a lot of positive buzz lately so it appears the market will be turning towards upwards again. More specifically, major financial institutions are looking into Blockchain technology which will naturally have a positive halo effect on the overall cryptocurrency markets. Naturally, this isn't an overnight thing, but it is a sign that crypto isn't dead and will become more widely adopted as we all anticipated years ago.

A couple of new leads to announce. We finally got xHamster interested in us. In case you're not familiar, they're one of the biggest free porn sites out there rivaling PornHub. Here's a Tweet as proof:

We have a discussion with them scheduled for this Wednesday. In light of the current Bitcoin controversy, our recommendation to them is to accept Altcoins in addition to Bitcoin. If you're not aware, Bitcoin has a scaleability issue (as we've always known) that their community is trying to solve with a forthcoming (and disputable) hard fork. The problem they're trying to solve is the limit on the number of transactions that can be processed per 10 minute block. Another competing solution is to create something called a Sidechain. The result of this scaleability problem is that as Bitcoin grows, the delay in transaction times will continue to increase making Bitcoin pretty much useless as a transactional currency.

It's our opinion that they're trying to solve a problem that doesn't need to be solved. Increasing the block size is not a long term solution since they will continue to run into the same problem year over year since it's impossible to predict future growth and adoption. There are also a ton of other problems with this solution which you can easily Google for more information. As for the Sidechain solution, that already exists today and it's called Altcoins.

A more logical solution which doesn't require a Bitcoin fork at all is to organically allow Altcoin Blockchains to bear the heavy burden of micro transactions, while utilizing Bitcoin to process bulk settlements and to serve as a storage medium. A consumer can make a bulk purchase of Bitcoins, and subsequently convert into various Altcoins for rapid merchant payments. A merchant can accept Altcoins which automatically gets converted into Bitcoins, and subsequently make a bulk settlement to convert into $US dollars. All of these conversions can happen behind the scenes which is why we've mentioned multiple times that the ultimate 'killer app' for crypto would be some type of multi-currency 'bank' where you can store an infinite number of currencies (e.g. fiat, crypto, points), and easily convert/transfer from one to the other for specific purchases. This is also why we're excited about our adoption into the PayServices platform which is exactly what they are trying to do.

In any case, we hope that xHamster will see the benefits of accepting Altcoin which will not only benefit us, but also other Altcoins. This is just a discussion we're having with them this week and not a formal commitment so I don't want people to get their hopes up just yet. Wish us luck and fingers crossed.

Does anyone here speak Dutch?

A few months ago we were approached by a nightclub in Amsterdam to help promote a breast cancer awareness event. A few months went by and we hadn't heard back until yesterday. They are going forward with this and have already started promoting the event in the Dutch media. Today the Dutch newsfeed is exploding with Titcoin mentions, and unfortunately we're not able to easily translate everything.

I was wondering if any Dutch speakers could do a quick scan of Titcoin mentioned articles, and perhaps give us an idea whether the news is positive or negative (with links to the articles you come across)?

Rough summary:

Hi, just read the article below, it states that the owner of a bar in Amsterdam plans to start accepting women breast pics for beer in november.
If a woman lets her boobies be photographed, the owner uploads the photo to titcoin (it really says this in the article, which is kind of weird, as the orignal titcoin promo vid mentioned an app that uploaded the pic to pornhub)
and in return gets 1 titcoin.

I'm afraid the owner and the journalists failed to see that the pornhub promo was meant as a joke.

News outlet 'Vice' researched the topic and stated pornhub and pink ribbon are in the dark about the project and won't participate.

So, all in all, it looks as if it's a publicity stunt for the bar.

Here's the latest update. I spoke with the bar again this morning and they are still moving forward. They're actually pretty excited about it and are doing a pretty good job of getting Dutch press coverage including Dutch Esquire Magazine. Hopefully some of this will spill over into some mainstream English publications which I can see happening.

There was one negative article that came out by Dutch Vice Magazine which basically claimed all of this was a hoax because of the fake PornHub video that came out last year. Naturally, other publications picked that up and ran the same story. This is resulting in a lot of "Titcoin is fake" posts on Twitter now which is unfortunate.

I'm doing some damage control to remind everyone that Titcoin is real. Also, the writer of the Vice article contacted me this morning for clarification and I really gave her a piece of my mind. Hopefully she'll modify the article or at least publish a clarification that Titcoin is real.

But the good news is regardless of the publicity (good or bad), it has had a direct impact on raising awareness of Titcoin as seen in our traffic numbers. Yesterday alone, we had over 50,000 visitors to our website in one day alone which means people are learning about us.

Thanks for the update!  It's been exciting seeing TITCOIN trending the past 24 hours.  Since it wasn't mentioned in your update can I assume there wasn't any new information that came out of your xhamster meeting? 

TIT is a sleeper.

xHamster is still thinking about it. Mainly they have a lot of different internal projects their working on so they are assessing whether this is a business priority for them to assume the development costs. This has been the type of response we usually get from businesses. But at least it's on their radar, and if their dev resources free up some time, it would be a very easy thing to implement on their site. We'll keep checking in with them to see how things go since this is a pretty good lead that we have.

In other events, it appears the news has spread from Holland and now to Poland and Hungary media. I'm basing this on the the languages I'm starting to see in our newsfeed.

As a result, we've received 2 new inquiries yesterday. One is a European based escort service with several dozen different websites that want to accept Titcoin. Another is a bar in Hungary that wants to do the same event as the one in Amsterdam. If more bars inquire, we could possibly look into having a formal Titcoin Day. That would be interesting.

It appears news has reached Finland now. In any case, I don't expect this publicity to be ongoing over the next few weeks since this event is tentatively scheduled for the end of October or early November. It might pick up the closer to the date. I did push out a Press Release here in the United States on Friday so it's only a guess if any American media will pick it up. They usually don't look at PR over the weekend so hopefully tomorrow morning we'll get a mention somewhere.

We also got another bar interested for a total of 3. This could very well turn into a Titcoin day with participating bars from around the world accepting Tits for Beer. We need to work with the Amsterdam bar to see if that sounds like a good idea to them. If so, we'll get planning on a Titcoin day which can get more bars involved to hold a charity event for breast cancer.

I try not to work over the weekends as I used to all last year. But I did have some urgent emails to write today. I just sent off an email to the new bars that contacted us. More importantly I responded to the escort company that contacted us. They're basically creating a network of escort sites each with different niches (about 100 different websites). Naturally, the whole Ashley Madison hack seems to convince these businesses that it would be in their best interest to find ways for their customers to pay more anonymously. This seems like a pretty good lead so hopefully this will turn into some.

No news to report today... except for a Polish magazine emailing me asking questions for an article their writing. It seems Titcoin is getting a lot of publicity over in Europe. As I mentioned earlier, the news will most likely start to die down over the next few weeks. However, the Amsterdam bar is still going forward with their event towards the end of October or early November. This means that although news will start dying down now, it will most likely kick back up again before their event. Once I find out the exact date, I'll post it here. And if you happen to be in Amsterdam, feel free to swing by the bar.

And yes... they want to also accept Titcoin payments at the bar. I know this is possible through CoinPayments since they have a PoS (point of sales) tool. We don't currently have instructions for setting that up, so I'll have to find someone to write it up for them.

It doesn't look like any American news publications picked up the articles from last week. I'm not super surprised since this is primarily a local Amsterdam event. But I do have a feeling that as the event date approaches, the buzz might reach the ears of a few writers over here who might end up writing a humor piece about the whole thing. If that happens, you can be sure news will explode in the US. That's just speculation of course based on past history.

I also haven't heard back from the 3 people who emailed us last week. I think what I'm going to start doing over the next few weeks is to do a big followup with every business that has contacted us over the last year (there's at least a hundred) just to see how they're doing and to see if we can help them set things up. I think most of them contact us on a whim because they read about us somewhere, but then got distracted with other businesses activities and simply forgot. So that's my to-do list for now.

Lastly, our price has been on the rise over the past week. I attribute this to a new audience of investors from Europe due to all the news there. Even more important, the price increase has been on a steady rise and not a one-day spike (although if you look at the market today it does look like someone or some people are trying to set up a pump tonight). A steady rise means that more investors are entering the market and holding onto their Titcoins. Price spikes mean opportunists are looking for a quick buck before jumping out. This is why I like the steady rise and am typically against any artificial pumping. I'm also realistic that this steady rise is still based on speculation over last week's news which will probably die down for at least several weeks.

Whether the price holds at around today's level is still a question. But if long-term investors are the reason for the price rise, it means that there's a lot of support in the market to keep the prices at near current levels. In any case, we know what the market value of Titcoin has been over the last 3-4 months. I can safely assume that it will be difficult for Titcoin to trade below 100 satoshis... and here's why:

I can probably account for approximately 1/3 of all issued Titcoins based on the holdings of several of our high stakes investors, partners we've already distributed Titcoins to, and our own holdings. So realistically, there's probably only 20 million Titcoins in circulation (or on the exchanges) at the moment. Plus, we've infused several BTC into the market at the lower end to make sure the price doesn't go below 100 satoshis. In fact, we have buy orders for around 5 million Titcoins in total across the various exchanges. And we have some BTC in reserve in case of emergency to support the price. Naturally, if the market decides to dump all of its Titcoins, we won't be able to stop that. However, I believe that's only a remote possibility, and we've infused enough BTC into the market to keep the prices steady at a minimum price of where it's been hovering over the last half year.

I'm glad to see the increased support in the market, and if you've made a few extra bucks over the last week I'm happy for you guys, too. I just want to remind everyone that we don't get involved with pumping our coin, and our only involvement in the market is to ensure a floor price based with our own funds.

I almost forgot one more thing, I was talking to my partners about kicking off some more giveaways over the coming months. We're trying to come up with something clever and fun besides the standard Titcoin giveaways. However, we have an idea for something we're planning for next February. It'll be a contest where the possible giveaway to one lucky person could be over a million Titcoins. We're still working out some of the details, but it'll give everyone something to look forward to... and it'll be fun.

You'll see what we have planned in January or February. We're thinking of a big 1 Million Titcoin prize based around an event. Naturally there will be some rules in order to be eligible for the grand prize, etc. And if someone is lucky enough to win the grand prize, we'll likely distribute the Titcoins in increments over a period of time (such as 100k per month over 10 months). That way it doesn't get all dumped onto the market all at once. As I mentioned earlier, we're still fine tuning the details.

That's a good sign. If they flat out did not want to consider Titcoin, they would probably just say so or ignore it.

There's also been a lot of activity on the exchanges over the last few days. I originally thought it was a pump because of the significant price increase, but looking at the charts, it looks like someone or some group is slowly accumulating Titcoins.  I'm not exactly sure why but it does show some level of confidence among new or existing investors.

I'll post more news as soon as I get them.

It does appear over the weekend there was a bit of a sell-off. Fortunately there's some resistance at the current price level so it should be a bit more stable. If you look at our history, any time there's some bit of news, the speculators jump in and create some major volume. Titcoin is pretty much a wait and see coin with occasional opportunities to capitalize on the volume. And as I mentioned earlier, we have several BTCs sitting on the Buy side to create strong resistance towards the 100-120 Satoshi range to prevent it from going lower than that.

In case you haven't noticed... xHamster posted something on their forum specifically asking to talk to me after their evaluation. That is certainly good news. If they decided to reject Titcoin, they wouldn't ask for my email address to continue talking. Which is weird because they already have my email address. If you can... please add your vote. We proposed to them that they should consider a multicurrency payment processor in addition to Bitcoin. This could help many other Altcoins which benefits all of us at the end of the day.

We did explore breast cancer charities several times in the past. It turns out, partnering with adult-related companies is a sensitive subject matter for them due to the potential backlash. Unfortunately, most advocates in the breast cancer world hate sensationalizing women's breasts even if it means raising awareness and money.

I personally spoke with the director of marketing for Pink Ribbon who pretty much said that they can't be associated with us, however, they would be more than happy to accept donations under the table. That's the same thing we heard from other charities, too. I also spoke about this with James Deen who is a personal friend of ours. He's done breast cancer charity work in the past, but he echoed that he was only able to name his charities 'after' the donations have been made and not beforehand.

Back from LA. As you may have already heard, we didn't win the award again. It was a bit of a long shot, but I was a little more confident this year and was disappointed in the results. In any case, we're still on the radar of the adult industry and will most likely be nominated again next year. What this means... we need to really make some waves this year to get the adult industry's attention! We obviously could use the community's help to make some noise.

Despite the loss, the awards show was another great experience. We rubbed elbows with many industry elites. I also had a great talk with a large adult toy company based out of London. We also sat at a table with a veteran male porn star celebrity who we talked with for hours during the show. Great guy but very unaware of technology and business. But he could be a good connection to reach other business decision makers.

Now that Cryptsy is out of the picture (for now at least), we're working on getting on a couple more exchanges just to make sure Titcoin continues to have long-term liquidity. We're still on Bittrex but they can be finicky with delisting coins based on trade volume.

We are now listed on SafeCEX.com with active trading at the moment. We should also be listed on YoBit in the near future. Feel free to submit a coin request to any of your favorite exchanges, too.

One of the bad news re: Cryptsy was that they offered merchants the ability to convert crypto into pre-paid debit cards which was a strong selling point for gaining adoption.  The good news is Titcoin is supported by PayServices.com which offers the same thing (although slightly more difficult to set up). Going forward, we're going to recommend PayServices to merchants as a platform for currrency conversion and withdrawals.

I mentioned a few months ago that we're planning on a big Titcoin contest in February. That's still our plan. The hard part if figuring out the legal logistics because laws can be strict in various states and countries re: sweepstakes. There are also legal rules on the dollar value that can be given away from a tax perspective. This might impact the amount of Titcoins we will be giving away to avoid all the legal mess involved. I'll post more details soon.

Just a heads up... we have a handful of new businesses that are accepting Titcoins now. As soon as we get them up on our website, I'll post the links in this forum. Most likely in the next day or two.

So... I have some bad news to report. Our primary account on Bittrex was hacked into last week. This is the account we used to set up buy walls to keep the price above 150 satoshis, and the account we used to store our Titcoins for bounties, giveaways and rewards to adult businesses. All of our Bitcoin reserves were stolen which essentially eliminated all of our buy walls. In addition, 1 million Titcoins were stolen and subsequently dumped onto the market. That is why there was a huge sell off last week dropping the price to its current level. Since this incident, the core team has done a little bit of soul searching. To recap:

We launched Titcoin 2 years ago. We set up an infrastructure to allow merchant payment processing. We earned a lot of media coverage from major publications. We earned an adult industry awards nomination 2 years in a row.

On the flip side, the adult industry has been slow to adopt Titcoin. The Titcoin community is pretty much non-existent. And we've personally sunk too much money to keep this coin active while all others coins have died.

With that said, we've made a difficult decision and have decided to pack things up. It was a good experiment for us in the beginning and we've learned a lot about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology... Knowledge that we continue to share amongst our professional peers and network. Unfortunately, we all have full time jobs and are having a hard time juggling things. Plus this theft was pretty much the straw that broke the camels back financially.

Now this doesn't mean we are going to immediately abandon Titcoin. We are going to start the process of finding another reputable team to take everything over to ensure that Titcoin continues to exist long into the future. We do have one small adult company that is interested in taking over the Titcoin development. However our immediate preference is to find a team with greater connections and experience in the crypto world. This might take a few months so we will be involved with the entire transition. Plus I will keep this community informed once we find the right team and begin handing over the reins.

Also, since our buy walls have been stolen, we don't have future plans to rebuild them. What this means is that the volume on Bittrex will likely drop resulting in Titcoin being delisted in several weeks. Unless this community itself maintains active trading on Bittrex to ensure its listing, we won't be able to prevent that from happening. So if you have Titcoins on Bittrex, please be mindful of possible delisting due to lack of trade volume over the next few weeks.

I want to thank some of the core members of this community for their support over the years. This was obviously a tough decision since Titcoin was dear to our heart.  We just came to the conclusion that the best way to move forward is to hand the keys over to a new team that has the time and resources to take Titcoin to the next level.

Just as always, only make a swap if there are good technical reasons for it. We have TIT already on Bittrex, why make a new one or go through the hassle of swapping without need?

Makes sense to continue with the current coin with no changes if it is secure and the stolen coins have been dumped, surely Bittrex could easily trace the person who dumped the coins and withdrew BTC?
The current price is still very cheap in my opinion, but ultimately if they cannot make a go of it with "awards" and contacts, the prospects of us taking things further are minimal unless a few big investors or big players in the adult industry were able to support such an initiative.
But its good to discuss the prospects.

You could also integrate a bell for incoming Titcoins into the wallet. :D For small businesses, it is still simpler than CC etc. as you can post the address on a web page and manage incoming payments by hand.

The critical question is how to get them. Figuring out how to use Yobit or Polo is too much for the average user. Your job as a developer is to invent a nifty way of buying Titcoins easily while maintaining privacy. Probably either some kind of micro-exchange, or by buying TIT from the market and selling to the people at an average price.

The time has finally come for us (the original Titcoin Dev team) to pass the keys to a new team who will take things to the next level.  It has been a great honor being involved with Titcoin from the start. We've made great strides establishing Titcoin as a legitimate currency while gaining global recognition in the media and the cryptocurrency industry.

We are currently in the process of handing over admin access to all official Titcoin accounts including our crypto forum accounts, Twitter and most importantly GitHub. We're also in the process of transferring over all of the official Titcoin domain names which will take some time. The current website will stay the same until the new website is created and domain names transferred over. To ease any concerns, I will still be involved during the whole process to ensure a smooth transition, and to support things once everything has been handed over. I've also offered to remain involved as a consultant for a while to ensure all existing business relationships are maintained and nurtured going forward.

I'll let the new team formally introduce themselves in the coming weeks.  All I can say at this time is that they are a technology and marketing company that has created products in the adult entertainment space. In particular, one of their main products is perfectly aligned with virtual currencies which is why we believe this will be an ideal fit for Titcoin. They also have a dedicated dev and marketing team to keep things moving forward.

I do have several requests for this community to help and welcome the new team. Please offer them all of your support and advice. You're all probably experts in the nuances within the cryptocurrency industry, and they'll need any insights you can offer. More importantly though, please don't immediately expect them to bear the full burden of growing Titcoin in the near future as they get on board. As a community, you all should be involved in some aspects including:

Thanks for catching those errors! I went and rephrased a bit there.  Ideally we can make public how much we receive in donations per month and how these funds were allocated.  In regard to the advantages I'd love to work up an incentive system.  Feel free to shoot us any ideas you might have as the more the merrier!

Well this is more a question of general business management I think, i.e. to offer deals for venture capitalists etc.. I have no idea what the business model for your company with respect to Titcoin will be, e.g. where possible income could be shared etc.. Also for me as an investor, the question would be if these opportunities would be better than simply holding a bag of Titcoin?!  ;)

I've never been busier.  But today I set some time aside to play around with more TIT integration.  This time into Joy-Toilet.com (http://www/joy-toilet.com).


Since, before we even get to any real cross-platforming we've got to organize things a bit.  That's why we're turning Joy-Toilet into a tidy lil' info and exchange platform for Titcoin.  Of course there's the Titcoin site itself to serve as it's own brochure.  But now we're talking about functionality.

Online Wallet

Anyone following us knows that we like the DIY approach.  We want to streamline the exchange of TIT for our more passive users.  For example, developing an online wallet is a convenient way to help affiliates get up and running in including TIT as a payment option.  Alternatively, the online wallet can be a cheap export point to players seeking to earn TiTcoin via playing a Joy-Toilet game online.

Deposits and withdrawals will take some time to work out for security purposes.  Lots of moving parts!  

Account types & Content

Besides standard member accounts, we'll provide an option for producers to get onto the platform and sell premium content for TIT.  This is in addition to allowing potential advertisers to join the platform as partners.  Producers and partners would all be verified.

Each account would be slightly varied in levels of access to performance analytics but generally we'll always have general and/or price information as seen to the far right in the screenshot above.

Sorry we haven't been able to respond and.or update immediately.  The team has been very busy with developing the bigger picture so to speak.

There's been some talk of relisting on Bittrex. We can't actively pursue relisting until our lead dev ports the wallets over and at the moment there's an acute focus on finishing up Triple X Tycoon (http://www.triplextycoon.com).  There's also the pending Linux wallet which is a native platform for us and won't take much to complete.
 
Special thanks to those hounding the exchanges on Twitter and other social media, we notice that stuff!  The thing is, without a stake in TIT, we're obligated to make this work with our existing products and services for the time being.  This is because hosting TIT in the future will be an additional expenditure and we're a small company.  So it's about combining resources internally so that everything gets the proper amount of attention.

We're taking a different approach to the development of the coin going forward. While partnerships are a great prospect, this is something that the previous owners didnt have as much luck with over the long term.  So we'd like to establish a stronger foundation for the coin as a whole before reaching back out to potential partners. Our efforts at the moment are focused on developing an adult platform powered by TIT while also integrating it as a native payment option within or for our own properties, such as Triple X Tycoon (http://www.triplextycoon.com).

Quick update on the continued integration with our own properties with this teaser -- using TIT in Triple X Tycoon to activate an easter egg.


Each client of Triple X Tycoon (http://www.triplextycoon.com) will be laced with a copy of the Titcoin wallet which will eventually only be usable within the multiplayer component once that is live.  In the meantime, the game will spoof Titcoins to be used as a funny kind of in-game currency.  Now obviously 1 TIT isn't much compared to the overall general market value at current, but to our majority non-crypto savvy audience this could be a painless nudge in getting them involved as well which may eventually lead to more investors. We still strongly believe that building a stronger native base prior/in addition to seeking out active partnerships is the way to go if we are to put a meaningful tailwind on the price-per-TIT and eventually put a positive upswing on the coin value over the long term.

Absolutely! And we'll have news on this ASAP.  We've still been in the process of completing the acquisition with the previous owners and have actually only just recently been handed more properties in regard to the coin.  We're about 90% there! You'll know everything we do.

Titcoin Development Update (Broad Roadmap)

It's been an interesting few months, transitioning ownership and doing last minute integrations has been an exhausting process for one dev, but satisfying to see.  We're now at a point in which we feel it would be easier to move into QA and on to our first real phase in developing an interactive adult platform.

So I know a few folks have asked for a roadmap, and we had mentioned that we're working on it.  Well that was true! And it was hard to grasp a timeline without a better understanding of phase 1 at first, but after a few weeks of hard work, a consensus was reached as to when and how we're going to go about the next few months in strengthening Titcoin.  

This new roadmap provides an overview of our business model in regard to the integration that I hope some of you may find insightful.  When we acquired this thing, our goal was and still is to improve what's been done.  And while not mentioned in the roadmap, keep in mind that we do still fully intend to get the coin on more exchanges as progress moves forward in addition to building a stronger foundation.

This will be especially interesting for multiplayer features that will consider TIT as a kind of prestige or premium game currency that could be used to further expand your adult empire!

TitGold (http://www.titgold.com) is only relevant to Titcoin in name at the moment, the former being not a clone at all!

Put simply, the purpose of TitGold is to pick up where we left off with Titcoin integration into our main product. Whereas Titcoin will continue along in a B2B or enterprise capacity from now on.

It is a new currency or "token".  I've added hyperlinks to the initial mention above, the source of which can also be found here (http://www/titgold.com).  The reason for the differentiation is due to both administration and development expenses being higher when having the base currency operate in both a B2C and B2B space. Especially considering we aren't the original developers of the coin.

There's just a lot we would have done differently initially. The previous owners had a different business model and as such created the coin accordingly.  We basically evaluated Titcoin again recently, its position in the market and capabilities and decided it was better suited to its original purpose than to the one we've been attempting to make it fit into.

Actually, I agree with you that using Titcoin for your comic strategy game would not have been a good use of it. ;) But the interesting question for me would be, what are your plans for Titcoin now? Also in terms of time. Most of your roadmap only seems to cover Triple X Tycoon and everything that's related to it.

You are saying you want to use Titcoin more on the B2B side (business 2 business). So what are your plans in this regard? Do you have a roadmap for that yet? Personally I would like to see Titcoin to be used as a payment method on various sites, e.g. premium porn sites or camming sites. So in that case you could create web APIs for it, or update the wallet interface to be more pleasantly looking, or add features to it that makes it easy to be used in camming scenarios (QR code integration etc.).

You hit the nail on the head actually.  An API is currently in development .  Alongside negotiations for new partnerships.

The news about TitGold being a WAVES token had been largely withheld and is no longer true and all references to such have been cut from the roadmap presented. Which is something we feel is important to disclose at this point in time. Further, no tokens have been sold as part of a 24 hour pilot this had originally been planned to be.

 We had initially thought a token sale could be of some interest to the broader community, although the current market seems to be on shakier ground than we'd prefer when investing in new ideas like this.

So all previous TitGold plans have been cancelled in favor of a native network token of the same name.  That is to say that TitGold will not be a cryptocurrency at all and shall only exist in the game's network going forward.

My view is that if you are going to be a crypto investor, you should have some Titcoin, just because. Everyone loves....ok never mind, but I think if you can add a few Titcoin to your crypto portfolio at current prices, then not such a bad idea. As said before, I think for a payment solution, running your own blockchain is mandatory, because a token-based solution also requires trust to the underlying platform, which reduces the chance for widespread adoption significantly. For game integration, on the other hand, a token-based solution is optimal because it's fast, uncomplicated and flexible.

What confuses me then is this quote:

When thinking about the underlying algorithm for Titcoin, I would suggest switching to a Proof-of-Stake-based solution, because Titcoin is already well-distributed, and PoS is usually faster than PoW and will enable the users of the coin (which are the main target group in this use case, along with the merchants) to support the network and generate coins. This will be the optimal setup when Titcoin becomes a widely accepted currency for adult payments. When hard-forking anyway, this will also allow you to switch to a more recent codebase.  ;) Just put a checkpoint at some point when the consensus mechanism changed, then potential security issues around PoW with SHA-256 will be irrelevant.

When deciding to develop this Titcoin for the purpose of being a currency, you might also ask for donations to support development, because you won't make any immediate profits from that. I understand that developing an open-source software is not always a solid business model, but there's a lot of money in cryptocurrencies that investors like to give to developers in order to enable them developing these things.

Btw. do you have a Discord channel for enabling users and developers to chat? IMO that's a great platform for building a community, and bringing users and developers together.

Great points here as usual.  And understandably confused, we could have worded that a bit better.  What was implied was that we've already built a framework to tie into the coin without actually moving forward on that implementation yet.  The reason being as stated, we recognize the flaws in Titcoin currently and how that could effect stability in the future.  I should also note that when we said Titcoin in that context we meant it broadly (as in to include TitGold) although we should have been a lot more specific considering the importance of the decision.

We've always typically built in-house and under proprietary licenses and I would be lying if I said we didn't prefer to keep it that way. Although we also fully acknowledge the nature of the project and would like to maintain the transparent and open-source standard of the crypto space.  This is why we felt it necessary to revisit the idea of a spin-off "token" as it would allow us some additional room to iterate without destabilizing the base.

Yeah. I can totally understand your point of view. But I would also like to state my point of view, as a user of Titcoin. I think you can make as many tokens or "spin-offs" for your game as you like! :D  But what would be important to me is, what is going to happen with Titcoin?! The one that is going to be used as a payment method for cam girls and porn sites, and online shops. IMO that does not really have much to do with your game. I know that this game is what your business is built on, but that's my point of view. These are two different products.

So how is Titcoin going to be developed? Are you going to change the algorithm, or consensus method, or what other plans do you have for it? How are you going to make this an established payment method in the adult industry?

Apparently the problem is caused by Https Everywhere, which redirects to the HTTPS version of your site. Supporting https should be mandatory nowadays, and it is the only protection against third parties (Tor Exit nodes, proxies, VPNs) inserting malicious Javascript code. ;)  So please fix this.

Btw. please read your DMs! Yobit said that they disabled deposits/withdrawals because the wallet on Github uses outdated code and is insecure. Are you planning to migrate to a recent Bitcoin codebase, or some other codebase? This would be greatly appreciated since some people still have TIT stuck on Yobit ;) And also maintaining the node software is absolutely necessary for a coin to be secure. So sooner or later this would be necessary anyway :)

This is resolved, the solution at this time being a rollback to the old site.  We had the newer site built and put on a test server with intention to have it become a primary thing but the monthly budget will not allow that kind of thing right now.  Monthly reports are currently delayed while we work out how to better streamline the project going forward.  A new blog regarding recent events should be out as soon as I can find time.  Thanks!

Over the next few days, we will publish the much-anticipated update and merger process document for TitCoin and TittieCoin.
To give everyone a bit of a glimpse of what is to come, I can start by saying we are not killing TitCoin but in fact merging TitCoin and TittieCoin into one.

We will be decommissioning parts os TittieCoin in favour of TIT and parts of TitCoin in favour of TittieCoin, essentially keeping the best bits of each coin to make one Super Coin.
How that will look will be explained at a later date, as I am sure everyone can appreciate what we are doing will be in the best interests of both communities despite the fact
that Titcoin had virtually nothing when we stepped in we are not taking that for granted and are making sure that TitCoin is stronger than ever before as a result of the merge.

Most Titcoin community members I have talked with so far do not want to merge with TittieCoin. Since this thread was locked, I had to create a new ANN here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5018869.0

The previous Titcoin Discord server was closed, so the remaining Titcoin community moved to a new Discord that is linked in the new ANN. We also have a new Github repository (https://github.com/titcoin/titcoin) that contains an actively developed Titcoin wallet based on Bitcoin 0.16.3. Since most of us do not want to merge with TittieCoin, we will obviously also not follow your "updates" and will keep using the existing Titcoin network as before.

I do not claim to be the "official" Titcoin developer, but you have no right to do so either because you were not elected by our community. Buying the official accounts from the previous developer (or making a deal with that one person) does not make you the "owner" of Titcoin and does not give you the permission to decide about its future. The existing Titcoin exchanges Yobit and Cryptopia consider you to be the official listing contact due to that deal with the previous developer; However that does not give you the right to decide about their user's funds.

We are already in the process of building up a new infrastructure with new pools, block explorers and exchanges in order to defend against your takeover attempt. I would like to invite all Titcoin users here to join us. We would be happy to collaborate with the TittieCoin community for marketing campaigns etc., but "merging" two cryptocurrencies (as far as that is even possible  ??? ) is not in our interest.

I hope that you will agree that "merging" two coins against the interest of one of the two communities does not help anyone.

Because technically you cannot merge two blockchains. You can only combine them in some way and make a third currency, but the original chains will always continue to exist. So if there is a group that also wants to maintain the original coin (which is the case here) it is going to be a big mess and will lead to a lot of confusion.



Now Titcoin is clearly alive again, so we have two independent currencies.  :)  Many people have invested in Titcoin under the assumption that it stays the way it is and not turns into some weird POS-POW-Masternode mix-up.  ::) ;)  Bitcoin is a very stable and reliable codebase to build an altcoin on.

Dear TittieCoin TIT Community,

We had a conversion with one of the Cryptopia’s Dscord moderators who explained that the email sent to their TTC customers who also happen to be our community was a generic email sent out to serval different altcoin markets at once on that day. It appears that TittieCoin TIT has jumped the transition curve at the best time in the history of altcoins.

There's a group in existence right now who are targeting Proof of Work coins such as the old Proof of Work versions of TittieCon TTC and Titcoin TIT to exploit them by means of a 51% attack. A 51% is an exploit carried out in order to facilitate a double spend on a network. The attacker rents or owns the equivalent of or more than 51% of the altcoins total network hashrate. Once the attacker has obtained this advantage, the attacker is able to trick the network into thinking that the attacker's chain is the main chain and this is where the attacker can take advantage of the 51% attack power to spend currency that has already been spent, this is known as a double spend.

This brings me back to where we are in the evolutionary lifecycle of cryptocurrencies and why its important to understand that TitCoin holders are at an advantage due to the TittieCoin acquisition that now makes the TittieCoin Developers the Official developers of TitCoin. We have taken the decision to drop the old exploitable version of TItCoin using the sha256 POW algorithm in favour or TittieCoin TIT that is not susceptible to this exploit.

We have always said that it is the choice of the TItCoin holder to swap or not to swap. However, bear in mind that as the Offical Developers of TitCoin we have taken the strategic decision to merge TittieCoin and TitCoin into a superior code base and the merge for TitCoin holders is facilitated by means of a coin swap from the old vulnerable version of TitCoin to the new future ready version TittieCoin TIT 2.1.

We have fixed the Spent Stake, better known as Fake Stake Attacks vulnerability in TittieCoin Proof Of Stake
We will post the update in the next few days.

We are hard at work developing and getting things ready, we appreciate your patience and want to give you all an update of where we stand in terms of progress.

1. The proof of stake vulnerability fix we issued is a patch, a further fix is in the pipeline and will take a few days.
2. We have made some cosmetic changes in the v2.2 DeskTopWallet.
3. Development of our mobile APP is coming along nicely.
4. We tested deposits to our OnlineWallet on tittiecoin.com last week with great success.

5. We are implementing features to our OnlineWallet that include:
      . History showing generated addresses.
      . Ability to see transaction history on previous address
      . Ability to see QR codes for each address
      . Comments on addresses (Labelling).
      . Ability to generating new addresses.

6. TittieCoin Safe Stake will be available to all users registered on Tittiecoin.com
      . Users can transfer coins from their TittieCoin OnlineWallet balance to Safe Stake
      . Safe Stake is an offline StakingWallet for users who need that extra bit of security.

He did an exit scam with his company Outhouz, Inc. with various victims.

Yes he seems to have scammed many people, including me and TittieCoin devs. I gave him money for developing Titcoin, and in parallel he sold the social media accounts of Titcoin to TittieCoin under the assumption that the coin would be unmaintained otherwise. Limitless - VIP v3.0.0 is now live and perfectly functional!

**Windows - Limitless - VIP v3.0.0 Update**
1. FIRST backup your wallet.dat
   If you have masternodes then save the masternode.conf and limitless.conf also.
2. Download the new wallet for your machine form https://github.com/Limitless-VIP/Limitless/releases/tag/v3.0.0
3. Please exit the wallet now and delete the old limitless-qt.exe file or uninstall if it was installed
4. Now go to Appdata by holding Windows key then pressing R, type appdata and hit enter.
     Open Roaming (Or where your wallet.dat is located) and rename the folder to Limitless or if it is already named
     Limitless just leave it that way.
5. Run the new limitless-qt.exe wallet! (Avast or other antivirus might go crazy, don't worry this is normal. The new
    version has been sent to Avast for whitelisting. Just add exception and it will continue.


**Mac - Limitless - VIP – v3.0.0 Update**
1. FIRST backup your wallet.dat.
    If you have masternodes save the masternode.conf and limitless.conf just to be safe.
1. Download the new wallet for your machine form https://github.com/Limitless-VIP/Limitless/releases/tag/v3.0.0
2. Please exit the wallet now and uninstall the old version of the wallet
3. Navigate to "~/Library/App Support/ (Or where your wallet.dat is located) and rename the folder to Limitless or if
    it is already named Limitless just leave it that way.
4. Run the new Limitless wallet! (Avast or other antivirus might go crazy, don't worry this is normal. The new version
    has been sent to Avast for whitelisting. Just add exception and it will continue
    Give the wallet time to gain connections and sync, you are all set!

1. Stop the wallet

3. Run the wallet.

4.  Click on `Tools`>`Bootstrap` then click `Run`
