COIN SPECS

1000% for the firsts 23160 blocks, then 500% until 92640,  then 100% until 185280, and then a natural ROI based on the # of MN.

Algorithm: .......... X16r
Retargeting: ....... ZAWYS
Block Time: ........ 2 mins
MN Collat: .......... 50,000
Max Supply: ....... 100,000,000
System: ............. POW(4) & MN(%)

The MN rewards increase as more come online as we believe every investor should have equal shares.  We do not reduce ROI% like most Masternodes.

PREMINE INFO
I want to take a moment to go over the pre-mine with a greater level of detail.
We have not run a presale or ICO using the premined coins, so the total breakdown is as follows:

1) Digifel Community Rescue Airdrop    =   366,000 XCG
2) Charity masternode                         =   50,000 XCG
3) Stable shared masternode               =    50,000 XCG
4) Development services rendered        =   350,000 XCG
5) Marketing and partnership               =    15,000 XCG
6) Remainder for buyxcg wallet            =  1,869,000 XCG
                                 ---------------
                     Total                            = 2,700,000 XCG

Digifel Community Rescue Airdrop:
This project was inspired by the unfortunate circumstances that befell the Digifel community. We promised an airdrop to those community members that stuck by us and helped to support us as we took on this great endevour. So we kept our word and provided swaps for many members who continue to stand with us today.

Charity Masternode:
We provide investors the opportunity to donate major cryptocurrencies (btc, ltc, etc..) to our chosen charitable organizations and in return we will pass the qualified tax-deductions back to them, in addition to rewarding them with XCG as a thank you for giving back. To facilitate the continual availability of this system we have spun up a MN to generate coins for this purpose. The address for this masternode is: Xxe9PGHzXpDZJDnwzQPQ8KjLWzPFmpgEPW

Stable Shared Masternode:
The purpose of this masternode is to both help stabilize the network and price of the coin. In essence, participants lock their coins down for a 1 year time period and in return are given back a share of the profits generated from the masternode. The idea is to provide initial investors the chance to cash out on their investment a little at a time while still keeping a large chunk of the circulating supply locked down.

Development Services Rendered Payments:
The two co-founders of this project have donated their time and personal funds to the creation and progression of this project, but some services (web design / hosting management, coding / scripting support, social media support, etc...) had to be paid for in order to push the project forward into a reasonable time frame.

Marketing and Partnership Payments:
We decided to take a creative approach to marketing and secured partnership agreements with various individuals and organizations using XCG in leu of using presale funding.

Remainder for Buyxcg Wallet function:
We offer an in-wallet means of purchasing XCG for those who want to invest in our project or purchase coins form us for use in the escrow service.

PARTNERS
Mayfield Technology Group is partnering with XCGTech and will soon be accepting Xchange coin from their clients as a payment option for services. https://www.mayfieldinc.net/

http://www.pearsonvision.com/images/PearsonvisionLogo.png
After a week of talks with Pearson Vision Limousine, a corporate service for GTA airport. I have gotten an agreement from the Vice President to have our coin accepted as one of the payment options. http://www.pearsonvision.com/

https://nodehub.io/img/brand/favicon.png
NodeHub.io is now accepting XCG as a form of payment for hosted 1 click masternode deployments! Visit here: https://www.nodehub.io/

AUCTION

So we started our new chapter in our story for XCG, We filed a patent for an Auction system.  Soon clients will be able to sell any coin listed in the escrow to be auctioned off on our website and also select an optional buyout bid.  Now the world wide web will be able to bid or buyout coins from miners and holder's directly.  No joining fee, no max withdraw, no min deposit, no withdraw fee, no charging dev's or coin community bucket loads of BTC to list them. The power is yours, the asset is yours and we think it should be like that! No more left over coins in exchanges. Oh yeah you sell and buy from the wallet without any registration information required!

What is XCG?

Xchange Coin is project that was developed by a team that had felt the cold
hands of these so called “false promises” developers. So we decided to make a coin
that enables the user to gain the power back in trading/bartering. To save the crypto
community from suffering the scams of otc trading and start-up sales we designed a
coin for the purpose of using it as an auto-escrow service. We realized that there are
too many malicious characters out there preying on people who want to be part of this
historical time. That being said, we just love doing this!

1) We have an auto-escrow built into our wallet, with future plans of making it into a multi-wallet. We will deliver a usable product from day one, not false promises, but a coin that has an actual real world purpose. The use of the auto-escrow
feature will depend on a fee of XCG. Thus providing the coin with instant
valuation at launch. ONLY coin to do it!

2) We also have a built in buy your XCG feature based on supported cryptocurrencies that can be expanded at the request of the community. So no dealing with people to get XCG for use in an escrow trade or as an investment.

3) We also looked at other coins and saw the challenges that they were facing due to vulnerabilities in their code base. In preemptive response we decided to
implement a kill switch into our wallet that can stop exploits in their tracks. We are currently working on an auto update system, so user that can't breath, sleep, and eat crypto (and the less technical crowd) can easily update their wallets when required.

Could be interesting, but could you explain us how it's supposed to work the escrow function?

Sure no problem! We have a backend server tied to the wallet. So user generates a pin and fills in the amount, type of coin and the payout address. Starts the transaction as a fee XCG coin is used for the processing. The user then enters the partners pin and connects to it. The Backend then sends out Escrow info to be used. Voila if the coins are sent in a window of 24 hrs, all is good.

But if a party fails to comply, the user that did their due gets all their fees and coins back. While the time waster loses the XCG fee.

The XCG fee is sent to the address for R&D, marketing, server cost (a lot with using multi coins) and the BUY XCG portion of the wallet.
The Buy XCG directly from the wallet allows user to use supported coins to purchase the XCG and skip exchanges (fees, whales).

We Are also dev'ing a kill wallet switch which will be ready for launch and a chat idea for traders to talk to each other.

Hope that answers some of your questions.

We seriously wanted the coin to have a use from the start!

With this low block reward the only people that will have MN for a while making that 1000% ROI are the devs. Your premine isn't high enough?

Total Block reward is 10.
Now if no MN's (masternodes) are enabled or MN's do not qualify. The miner gets 10.
If MN's are enabled they sit in queues for a reward of 6 XCG which is taken from the total reward of 10 XCG. Which leaves 4 for miners.

Hope that helps.

So added a pre-req to be added in the auto escorw in wallet.  Seed node, Static build and SSL.

I funny way one of our devs put it as.

The 3 simple things that tell you a coin is a shitcoin:
1) Devs can't release a statically compiled wallet - that means they're completely oblivious to how the codebase they are working on actually functions.
2) Seed Nodes! Having to hardcode addnode='s in the config file means they have no idea how the peer2peer nature of their coin code works
3) ...not understanding the concept of a valid ssl certificate in 2018, especially when it's free, means the person who they have for infrastructure is a dumbass, or they have none, so they're cheap and they want to make some quick cash and then exit-scam

Hey CryptoCot "A bed for crypto's" Like that!

So as on now, we decide that we want to hit major exchnages. Its a much more harsher road then taking the option and going smaller. Never the less, we do have some options for you to obtain XCG:

1. You can buy it in wallet with 7 different supported crypto's. (BuyXCG tab)
2. You can go OTC either reddit or discord and request a WTB. Once you get a miner to agree on your price, You proceed to download the wallet and request a escrow in wallet. (send Tab - request escrow [fourth buton to the right on the bottom]

As for you interest, we have applied for validation to some big top 20 exchanges and have received offers to enlist (including top 10). (A new coin with no ICO - you can see where the set back might be)

Thanks,

Any questions, drop another line.

As most people will get to know me, They will notice that I run at 1000 miles/hr.

So keeping that in mind, I planned a hard wallet and with the discussion of the dev's and team, we have decided to stick with a multi-wallet. It will be more beneficial for all. So before we get started on that, We wanted you the community to have a voice to give us an idea that will benefit the crypto world.

Please feel free to drop a pm or line on discord/reddit/ann. If you have an idea that is different from what we have going on and we like it, you will be welcomed to join the team for the development and help see it through.

The power is yours, the asset is yours and we think it should be like that! No more left over coins in exchanges.

Just curious, as I still have my old Digifel coins, and none of my buddies that also held digifel told me about an airdrop.

I agree it's nice to see something new and fresh hit the crypto market -- my sleeper pick for 2019 right here - XCG

Been mining with these guys since day one. Really feel like they're putting a lot of effort into this. And that this coin we'll get some traction and go somewhere ! Also love the way that the first page in the bitcointalk looks now. The community likes to talk and definitely work out any problems together and the developers are always there if you have a question .Mined a lot other coins that ended up just being crap in the past but I'm sticking with these guys for a while and see how this ends up.😁

This is the same token. For me the best choice it’s to buy ada and neo and check who win the first place in this segment of market.

This doesn't make sense? same token?  This is a coin with an escrow service that will also make it so people can trade without having to put their private keys directly on an exchange.  There is nobody else doing this and inside the wallet.

Please remember that these projects you have mentioned have a huge marketing budget just like most of the projects in the top 20 so of course they will gain the massive exposure and everyone jump on board. XCG is a unique project that is going to take time to grow.

Debian 9. The application stops responding after a warning appears, in which it is written about the recommendation to correctly set the date and time, if this was not done before. But at me these parameters of system are adjusted correctly ...

The warning will disappear when u stop using debian. Its a common knowledge that debian is severely bugged and due to this cant get be deemed safe OS. Its no competitor to Bubastis OS which Im currently deving. I am the original developer of Bubastis kernel and author of the brand new scripting language used in reincarnated 1984 POSIX interface, now utilized in Bubastis backend.

What's your environment. What is the EXACT error message. Is there a kernel dump? Is there a stacktrace?

What about some screenshot(s) of the error message.

We can't reproduce the issue unless you are being very specific.

Please provide any evidence that this OS is unsafe. In linux systems, the source code is open. If data leakage is present in this OS, then it would most likely be known. Linux systems are more secure than windows systems, where the source code is closed.

What about some screenshot(s) of the error message.

Can you provide a screenshot or a stacktrace? Anything information that has value.

I have already left for another city and will stay there for a week. Unfortunately, I have not installed Debian on my laptop. This OS is installed on the computer at home. I will be back on September 10 and provide screenshots immediately  :)

KDE. Sorry, but I can not answer the remaining questions now, since I am not an experienced Linux user. Perhaps I'll understand more when I come back and load the OS.

Did you compile it yourself? Did you use our pre-compiled binary?

I used the precompiled file.

Why is it listed? Not sure what you are on about as I was just telling people about the poll on Twitter on what they would like to see. I don't cry over anything when it comes to crypto my friend, I know the risks involved as I have been in crypto since January 2015 so I have seen the ups and downs. I'm in for the long term anyway so I don't pay attention to what the price is doing right now. I believe this is a long term project and that is why I got into XCG.

Well accessibility is key, I think personally we can get a secure system on a mobile device rather making another whole hand held device for you and others to carry around. We all have mobile phones and so we think that should be our focus. The debit card is further down the line, that requires a lot of our phases to be completed and successful. So far we have been hitting good milestones and at a rate that we never expected.

The auction system is the key to a lot of doors. We are giving people the option to obtain and sell currencies with no withdraw fee, no min deposit/withdraws, no block transaction fees, ease of accessibility, decreased manipulation, no whales, no pumps, no dumps, and no bots.  Best of all no inside hack jobs of millions of currencies gone.

Masternode instructions:

Send 50k XCG to a new XCG address in the wallet and label the new XCG address.

After one confirm you should then proceed to Tools -> debug console -> type in [ masternode outputs ] (without the brackets).

You will get a value like this: 2bcd3c84c84f87eaa86e4e56834c92927a07f9e18718810b92e0d0324456a67c 0

Now make a VPS with ubuntu 16 lts or higher: and install the MN script found at https://github.com/Xcgtech/MNsetup.git

So in the VPS as root (sudo -i or sudo su): git clone https://github.com/Xcgtech/MNsetup.git
                                                              cd MNsetup
                                                              ./mn-linux-install.sh

At the end of the installation of the script you will be given a private key and your ip: for example: 127.0.0.2:8693 93HaYBVUCYjEMeeH1Y4sBGLALQZE1Yc1K64xiqgX37tGBDQL8Xg

Now close your VPS. (don't shut it down).
Open the XCG wallet go to TOOLS -> masternode config

Enter the label for the address you gave so: mn1 the private key given by the VPS, in this case: 93HaYBVUCYjEMeeH1Y4sBGLALQZE1Yc1K64xiqgX37tGBDQL8Xg and the masternode output: 2bcd3c84c84f87eaa86e4e56834c92927a07f9e18718810b92e0d0324456a67c 0

So now you add the collected info in the format as: alias IP:port masternodeprivkey collateral_output_txid collateral_output_index

Which would be in this case:
mn1 127.0.0.2:8693 93HaYBVUCYjEMeeH1Y4sBGLALQZE1Yc1K64xiqgX37tGBDQL8Xg 2bcd3c84c84f87eaa86e4e56834c92927a07f9e18718810b92e0d0324456a67c 0

Close the txt file and save, restart the wallet, go to the masternode tab and select the MN -> start alias.

Thats about it.

maximum coin supply?
Xchange solves this with an in-wallet escrow feature which removes the human element and makes it possible for users to trade with no third party risk.
Any other expect?

Normally a bounty campaign should start parallel or even before ICO starts, so that you can attract more potential investors. They are still organizing the bounty campaign and the half of the ICO is already finished then.

Um there was no presale or ICO, and there is no bounty campaign ?? I mean I know there is a twitter giveaway that ends tomorrow, but hardly a bounty campaign.

Hi guys, I’m relatively new to this ICO thing. I still need to study the whitepaper of this project. But what payments methods can I use in order to be able to buy your tokens?

Hello, XCG is not an ICO and this coin can be purchased on the exchange Coinexchange at the link below. I highly recommend reading the white paper and also join the discord or telegram groups as the team is very active in these groups. If you have any questions at all, the team and other community members are there to help you out. Good luck!

Interesting implementation of the auction system ! And the coin itself XCG how involved in the auction process is likely to be payment for auction fees in your coin XCG ? Auto escrow is certainly the best idea since non-Executive or fraudulent users are very much ! This project is very relevant and necessary in our time !

I truly believe that its just a matter of time before XCG gets noticed more as one of the better projects on 2018. I have seen a lot more people joining their discord which is nice and also the volume is starting to climb on Coinexchange, still need some more volume though but it has improved since a few weeks ago. Getting listed on Masternodes Online will also help get the project some exposure and so would another exchange which I'm sure the devs have planned in the near future.

One step notice is two steps unnoticed.

The core dev team is always active towards finding improvements in the wallet and the Blockchain. Wallet development comes with much more ease than a Blockchain development. Our goals include both these systems in new ideas and products

With Blockchain code we took our time in the pre-launch. We also gave the coin an improved wallet with added functionality. From ease to security. As we speak, we are doing more upgrades. Best part about this, new potential projects blossom.

This is US!

I think over the counter trading is risky. As a result, the services of a third party has entered into to reduce the risks, these services can be expensive and unreliable. Xchange solve this problem with the features of such deposits, eliminate the human factor and the user can make transactions without the risk of a third party. This great project can solve a lot of problems.

Greetings, all! Lol, I am guessing this is in response to the Wall Street Journal article about the prevalence of fraudulent ICOs today. The warning will disappear when u stop using debian. Its a common knowledge that debian is severely bugged and due to this cant get be deemed safe OS.

What's your environment. What is the EXACT error message. Is there a kernel dump? Is there a stacktrace?

KDE. Sorry, but I can not answer the remaining questions now, since I am not an experienced Linux user. Perhaps I'll understand more when I come back and load the OS.

Did you compile it yourself? Did you use our pre-compiled binary?

I used the precompiled file.

Not a problem, please msg's when you get back. You can also email me at kalcan@xcgtech.com. Have a safe trip.

I have already returned from the trip, so I show the screenshots of my problem  :)

The XCG dev team keep on delivering with the latest updates on the auctions feature. Once people start to understand and know what XCG has to offer, I think this will really start to take off big time. I'm yet to own a node but the plan is to own one within the next couple of months ready for 2019 which is when I think this will be a top project.

This seems to be the XCG pattern, under-promise, and over-deliver, rather than the inverse.

Keep up the great work guys.

The plan is interesting and I think this is a good business for the investors. but many plans are similar in the market. I hope with the innovation and strategy of the team will be effective in getting investors to support this idea.

From what I see on their website road map made pretty good but less about 50% longer to perfect everything, I hope after the full development of their road map is going to be a nice project and can compete by another Exchange .

There is no doubt that this will take time to develop and grow. This is the kind of project I really like as the team isn't about hype and just get the job done, they ain't after fast profits like a lot of other projects out there and that is why I believe XCG will be a good long term and successful project.

Quick question, do you peg the price only on the $ value or in ETH?
I‘m asking, because as the price of ETH is dropping and it may not stop here, 1.5 ETH will therefore give us much less tokens in the sale then originally, correct?
Thanks

Hello my friend, there is no token sale here, if you want to buy some XCG then you can buy them with BTC from one of the two exchanges it is listed on. Coinexchange and BTC-alpha are the two exchanges at the moment or you can use the XCG wallet. So no need to worry about the ETH price.

accurate development certainly takes time on a variety of platforms, and it is seen on this platform. I see the quality of Xchange products is very good, and can compete with other platform products. quality will determine the best price.

I was just in their discord and saw a post from one of the dev. I must say that I'm more bullish on this project then ever before after reading what was posted. The auction feature is almost complete and will be released very soon, then an Android app, a trade in app and then finally a debit card. I really think 2019 will be a huge year for XCG. Now is the perfect time to get in before this really starts to explode!

WOW! This was a nice surprise waking up to see XCG up over 100% in the last 24 hours. I guess people are now starting to see what XCG has to offer and the huge potential it has moving forward into the future. It will be interesting to see where this evens out to once the buzz slows down, I'm thinking it should hold above 1k sats until the next release the auction feature which isn't too far away now to being released.

Yes, great movement last 24 hours!

The price seems to be settling at around 2k sats which is great. If XCG can hold here and remain stable, then the next leg up we could see it go even higher then we saw in the last 24 hours. This could happen once the next development is released which is the auction feature. All things are looking good for the future!

Its good to see XCG listed on CMC which was quick as I believe the team put in a request not too long ago. Now its much easier to track the progress of the coin as I like to track its price daily to see how well its performing and holding up in this bear market. The volume is also steady at around the 5 BTC range which is a good sign that people are interested in the coin.

Yeah it did, I think its a good feature as from what I have seen, no other coin is doing anything like this auction feature so it offers something different for XCG. The Android wallet will be a big hit with a lot of people so I'm looking forward to seeing this being launched soon.

I have seen a few tweets on Twitter with a sneak peak of the in-wallet auction feature which looks really good. I'm really looking forward to seeing this feature go live and we can start using this as it gives people another way of buying coins instead of using the exchanges. This is why I believe in what XCG are doing as it cuts out using the exchanges and spending a lot in fees while we can do all this in our wallets with lower to no fees.

It's good by now, but I tend to wait 2 or 3 more weeks to see how actively, professionally the XCHANGE team are before investing money into the one.
There are lots of fast exit scams and honestly I got stucked with one of them.
Personally, it is really terrible experience.
At least, by now, the XCHANGE project looks really good, I can not deny the fact.

I'm in the beta. It's going well. The back end stuff is solid, and the devs have been taking advice for improvements. I believe they're cleaning up the UI now, we test it again, and if deemed all good, everyone get's to play.

Update:
XCG Auction:
Features: No deposit/withdraw fees, min and max. No block fee in refunds. Use your own wallet to send and receive.
Incentives:  Title point system. The reward will lead up to free sell postings and a 0.5% commission their own trades if they sell.
Having 50k XCG  free posting of auctions, 25k  50% off posting fee and 10k 10% off posting fee.
The MN is 50k collateral making, MN owners able to post for free. So buying a MN as a investor allows you to potentially earn revenue from multi assets and not just rely on XCG. (Based off the point system)

Thanks,

How's the auction house coming?

I'm in the beta. It's going well. The back end stuff is solid, and the devs have been taking advice for improvements. I believe they're cleaning up the UI now, we test it again, and if deemed all good, everyone get's to play.

What are the main features of the auction house?

XCG is one project that I can see doing well in the next bull run as it has a lot going for it compared to most projects out there which don't actually have use cases like XCG does. This is why I have been buying as much as I can before the next run starts.

Hello everyone !

XCG will have the opportunity to list on "Aiodex" and registered members will be free of trading fee in the first year. That is wonderful thing. I hope you will inform to your community. Thank...!  -> https://aiodex.com/vote/XCG

What's your daily volume? I see you're asking 0.5BTC for listing but that seems overpriced.

From one of the devs, Wizard in the discord today!!

We are extremely excited to announce the completion of our major development phase for the next generation XCG wallet + Auction House! The new wallet also has many revamped features including theme, escrow feature, and more!

Before we release the new wallet for open usage by everyone we will need about 2 more weeks of beta / qa testing and run everything through a series of security testing which I will outline below, if everything is smooth after that, it's happy Auctioning.

The security of our products and your assets is one of our highest priorities so we have enlisted the services of offensive security specialists Leet Cyber Security (https://leetcybersecurity.com/) to perform continuous vulnerability assessments of our infrastructure.

Our goals in signing up with Leet Cyber Security are to ensure the highest level of protection for the XCG ecosystem, and to meet our depth of commitment in providing the crypto community with the best quality products and services that we can offer.

In addition to all of the benefits mentioned above, Leet is accepting XCG as payment for this service, once again proving that our coin has the ability to integrate into real world markets.

Thanks to all of you who continue to support our project and stand with us. We are pleased to be a part of such a passionate and down to earth community

I'm really looking forward to the new wallet release coming in the next week or two as that's when the auction feature will go live and we'll be able to see what its all about as we have so far just seen sneak peaks of this feature. I still think that XCG is a good long term hold and that's what I plan to do is hold for the long term and build my way up to owning a masternode.

For long term investment stance, it doesn't matter to hold Xchange, but for short-term, the one need breaking news on both internal and external changes of the project.
I have waited patiently for coming news.

This coin will never attract miners. I do not understand the mentality over here. I have invested about $30k in equipment with few of my friends and it would almost take us one full year to mine enough coins for a masternode. This is ridiculous. Who has time to invest one full year into one project that can fail anytime. I have been watching this project for some time and I see the hash rate is going down everyday. And I do not wonder at all why. Obvious.

Title: Re: xcg old thread
Post by: kubaniol on November 05, 2018, 02:13:15 PM
This is the way I see it. If you are a POW (Proof-of-work) coin, your main goal should be attracting miners. You mention that you are looking for serious investors (masternode 50,000 coins) and I consider myself a serious investor but for a POW coin. I think you have something mixed up over here, you have a good project which started really well. Now its going down, less hash rate and trading volume going down. Like I said before you dont attract miners at all. With this mentality you should be a coin with stats like this Masternode 85% and POS 15%. Now you give shitty rewards to miners and you cut percentage for masternode holders. New miners are not coming and for POW coin this wont work. I dont see this project succeeding with this arrangement.

Man... this is a good project, there is no much commit on github, but the team will link to the real dev repo, they are using a private repo for now.
And you can host you masternode on nodehub.io, pay with XCG credts and setup a node with no friction.
The dev team are using a private repo for the backend API for security reason, you can ask for screenshots and there is a lot of commits.
So, keep a eye on this project.

Hey guys, Core Upgrade 0.24 can be found here https://github.com/Xcgtech/Wallet/releases/tag/0.24.0

PLEASE upgrade before block 90k. at 90,010 old wallets will not be able to connect! This is for safety of everyone. Your funds will remain safe until you upgrade.

Masternodes will need to upgrade as well. There's a one script click to do so on the Git. Happy holidays!

We have released 0.24.0!

https://github.com/Xcgtech/Wallet/releases/tag/0.24.0

This release contains the newest Xchange Core 0.24.0.

## This releases' highlight features:

- New and improved re-targeting algorithm, "Xbuffer". This will help the network recover quickly after a mining power spike attack (from Nicehash & similar services), so after a serious drop in mining power the network no longer waits ~20 minutes  for the next block.
- This algo will take effect at block 90000. Starting block number 90010, which we will estimate our network will reach it around 25th of December (Happy Holidays!), old core daemons and wallets WILL NOT be able to connect to the network anymore.
- New GUI Wallet themes, as the old ones were a sore-eye.
- Separation of the Escrow tab from the "Send" coins dialogue
- Lots of other minor stuff which we probably forgot to mention

## Masternode Operators

- For all NEW installs, the setup script will install the latest version, by using this command:

curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Xcgtech/Wallet/master/contrib/mn-linux-install.sh | bash

- In order to UPGRADE your Masternode, please use the upgrade script we conveniently provided:

curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Xcgtech/Wallet/master/contrib/mn-linux-upgrade20181217.sh | bash

Please be aware that the UPGRADE script will ONLY WORK if you initially used the provided install script, previously. We can not take responsability in upgrading other kind of setups/installs.

## Wallet Users

- For Windows users: you can just run the installer to upgrade, your data will be kept safe
- For macOS users: you can just open the .dmg, and drag Xchange to the Applications folder, as usual, replacing the old one.

Curent ROI for Xchange masternode looks good.
Over time, the total masterminded operate on Xchange network will rise, then rewards for each will drop, ROI will fall.
But it is a future story, not now.

Currently the ROI is fixed at 500%, in the next week or so, that will drop to 100% then it will go to a natural ROI much later.

This is good for the coin since it helps to reduce inflation as well as dumping.

Yeah there's also alot done that wasn't on the roadmap 😅 that needs updating for sure. (trade api, auction house?)

Overcome procrastination? Find a web dev who wants to help get the site overhauled asap. I think that's some talent we need in 2019.

This is good for the coin since it helps to reduce inflation as well as dumping.
One more thing, the risky assumption in which the price of Xchange drop also result in further falls of ROI.
It's one of risk to invest into Masternode coin.
At least, for Xchange masternode investors, so far so good.

https://nodecheck.io/currency/XCG                   weekly - 5008.3334 XCG\$66

https://masternode.live/currencies/XCG/Xchange      weekly - 55,440.0000 XCG\$738

B/S, where is the truth?
How to determine real income for 1 XCG masternode?
Can I even trust these websites?

We're at 100% ROI atm. These websites will be updating as the network provides them data.

Still managing to hit blocks solo mining with my CPU through the wallet. Excellent reward for loyal mining.

Bounty: Giving 51k XCG to anyone that can 51% and show evidence of it.

Super excited for what the rest of the year has in store for this project. Escrow, In Wallet Auction, plus the devs on discord were teasing an exchange!  ;D

Finally, something new and exciting to mine.

Sorry bro, not really  >:(

Somewhere around the new year xcg implemented their TSA/xbuffer algorithm which was supposed to prevent 51% attacks...

Supposedly it would prevent miners from jumping on the network with high hashrates getting all the blocks. The algorithm was supposed to recognize that such a high hashrate has come onto the network and block the excess hash they provided and only allow them whatever speed the network was allowing at the time.

The new algorithm frankly sounded like a good idea in theory and drew some attention from outside community members. Many of them decided to look into the code and read more about it, while a few noticed some major problems. It was sometime around Jan 3rd when several Discord members tried to ask questions and raise concerns in the chat only to be rebuked by the developers and mods.

The xcg team was incredibly rude, arrogant, and demeaning to anyone who dared to question anything in their “bulletproof” algorithm. They called people names and gloated at how stupid they were for not understanding the code and what xbuffer really does. Quite a few people were banned for simply raising concerns.

Unfortunately for xcg some of the community kept digging through the code and found some critical errors that allowed someone to not just attack the network with high hashrates, but with little to no hashrate at all, you see the math in the code was flawed in a way that when high hashrates hit the network it would drop the diff to 0 which allowed cpu's to mine the coin very easily.

A couple of small but simple tricks such as adjusting the time on your cpu would allow in most cases for a cpu or a group of cpus to dominate the network and get ALL of the blocks, essentially a "loop".

Many people in the community should be able to remember that when xbuffer came out how many issues they had with pools not being able to get blocks, or only getting orphans. Well the xcg team had every excuse under the sun as to why this was happening and they defended their "xbuffer" algorithm to the death.

Anyone who got upset was cussed out and banned from the discord. The team seemed to be very aware that something was happening and was scrambling on the backend trying to patch the exploit even though denying it to the community and reprimanding them should they speak up.

There were several Discord members who tried to help but they experienced the same attitudes from the team.

There was nothing left to do but to mine the shit out of the chain with cpu's and dominate the chain at any given time.

You see the team was convinced that people were throwing a P/H at their network and trying to take it down and again they would gloat as to how amazing their buffer algorithm is and how dumb people are for even attempting when in reality miners were generating thousands of coins with nothing more than a couple cpus.

This has been going on for just over a week at the moment.

As this type of mess is pretty unacceptable, the chain has been thrown back in time to at a bare minimum verify this post.

Several additional actions have also been taken on chain that skilled people will be able to read.

Additional details on this will not be shared at the moment provided that the XCG team get their shit straight and in order.

I can readily confirm all of the above except for the final part on the chain attack as I'm not running the junk atm. There are holes wide enough for me to stick my massive aging head through in the code. Even with some sections commented out that would alleviate at least some of the problems.

(It does)

Supposedly it would prevent miners from jumping on the network with high hashrates getting all the blocks. The algorithm was supposed to recognize that such a high hashrate has come onto the network and block the excess hash they provided and only allow them whatever speed the network was allowing at the time.

(That's how it works yes)

(people were banned for being insulting, racist or frankly rude about it all. So yes there's more to this.)

Well the xcg team had every excuse under the sun as to why this was happening and they defended their "xbuffer" algorithm to the death.

(time error patched with 24.1 and reasons why it's happening shared as they come, same with reasons why it shouldn't happening if you'd care to share that part too)

Anyone who got upset was cussed out and banned from the discord. The team seemed to be very aware that something was happening and was scrambling on the backend trying to patch the exploit even though denying it to the community and reprimanding them should they speak up.

(anyone who was cussing or demeaning the team was banned yes. When a problem arises it gets patched, no? We weren't denying the incoming patch to the community. Good go though)

There were several Discord members who tried to help but they experienced the same attitudes from the team.

(if you meant the team of trolls, yes, very helpful)

There was nothing left to do but to mine the shit out of the chain with cpu's and dominate the chain at any given time.

The masternode count keeps growing, seems like a lot of people are accumulating through this dip. Which is the exact opposite of what happens when most masternode coins see a ROI drop.

Didn't you admit openly about using botnets.......... i'm sure, you would be the last person anyone asks for an opinion. Why trust someone that openly states they exploit.

I came on your discord and asked about a miner for a bot net. Instead of a "fuck off" which I should have gotten. Your lovely team gave several suggestions all of which happen to work. As to running botnets nah man, not my style.

I get sick and tired of scammy, clammy fucks who know zip about what they are doing misleading the bitcointalk/crypto community.

You guys are the team who claim petahashes of x16r repeatedly hit your joke of a network. Renting that kind of power, if it were available in the first place (and no, there are not that many x16r ASICS even on RVN atm), would surpass the cost of your market cap. Get real and check your absurdly broken calculation mechanism.

Do you have a decent concept for a project yes which was what caused my initial interest. You have however managed to tear that up quite nicely.

Do you know the first fucking thing about blockchain tech and consensus, nope!

You have a network that consistently overwrites itself so you removed orphans from showing in wallets etc. Apparently you feel that keeping a chain running is more important than keeping it accurate. Hell, you might even have caused double spends with the level or retardation I see ongoing.

As to your request for help earlier on a patch, I'm fairly certain that was offered by several people but you chose to ignore it.

This is turning into a mess on the same scale as reef.

Oh and asshat, as to proof, anyone who can read a chain just needs to grab it and look at the tips to see the level of suffering I'm talking about.

I am one of those banned for asking questions.
My pool never found a block after the update, and there was no words about being CPU only upfront the update.
I questioned old transactions coming up within the last blocks, so I was stamped retard and whatnot before I finally got banned.
I hear they also is going after me in real life to sue me, thinking I wasted even more time on mining them secretly.

This coin got something worse than a 51% attack, and that is its team.

Community takeover and rollback to old code, anyone?

So short story to all, they tried attacking me and making rude remarks, because i said no they are wrong and gave an explanation.
Now that i know it was you in another discord name..... its up to me now, if I want to proceed with the law.

Please, do report me, the moderators on here really like to get bothered by people whining and going snowflake. We can always kick it up a notch and ask a distinguished community member to come in and verify that your junk code works or that you aren't currently trying to scam the community who invest with hash etc.

Any suggestions as to who that should be?

The Canadian Human Rights Act[1] (the Act) is a statute passed by the Parliament of Canada in 1977 with the express goal of extending the law to ensure equal opportunity to individuals who may be victims of discriminatory practices based on a set of prohibited grounds such as sex, sexual orientation, race, marital status, gender identity or expression, creed, age, colour, disability, political or religious belief.

Where i come from, those statements i made are correct in the eyes of the law.

PLEASE BACK OFF NOW

Isn't the fact that you're so unwell something that should have been in the ANN from the start as it would be an important factor in determining if investor's can have any confidence whatsoever in what's going on?

Then again you never felt the need to let miners know that your buffer would wreck their earnings and create chain fractures, a chain attackable with a couple of CPUs etc etc etc.

Plus you have repeatedly mentioned on discord how unwell you are and how you feel it entitles you to scam/mislead people as to what is going on or in the most snowflaky possible interpretation excuses doing so.

Man, keep this up and someone will at some point request that the forum tag you.
