my suggestion is the same, if you using mew you had better get hardware wallet like ledger nano s .or use metamask for the safe. but only i recommend hardware wallets. other thing is dont save your private address or passwords in email,internet or any kind of cloud storage. because it can be hacked. then your details will be leaked.

You can try to use only paper wallet but make sure you need to check your url before you are trying to pen your privakey through mew or any other similar site. But hardware wallet will become the best wallet.

Wwll the only thing you need to do is to protect your private key and .dat file very well. I suggest if you're using MEW like the most then print your private key and don't store it to your computer with internet connection to about potential hackers. Everything depends on where and as you store the coins. I have got used to store the on native purses which are at me on the computer or at the exchanges (but it is not really safe option). Regarding purses, more than a year I use them and there were no problems in their use. From them I store keys on USB.

I think offline MEW is very safe...
You can buy a cheap laptop and use it always offline to generate transactions with MEW. Use your private keys only on that offline laptop.
Then copy-paste that generated transactions to the online PC and use it to send your ETH or tokens.
Since your PKs are always offline they can't be stolen...

Ever since I've been using hardware wallet like ledger Nano, I'm feeling comfortable using this because of their security features and easy to use, there are some methods also that give good security on your coins but it depends on your choice and eases to use.

I stored my tokens with MEW and i installed metamask for additional safe. Metamask is a google chrome extension and no need to give MEW passwords to internet. If you guys using myetherwallet, I suggest to don't copy all your private key, just split the private key  and maybe you can typing manual at least 5 digit your private key. Its will make your address more save from the hacker who will steal the private key via last word that you already copy.

We cannot control if our wallet is being hacked. I have already experienced this when I noticed that my wallet has ETH deposited in there and that one of my token was being withdrawn.
