TREZOR and Nano Ledger are the best wallet hardware I have ever seen, because both companies have strong financial support to back up all their user data including Bitcoin and altcoins wallets.

should be more careful in using your wallet now, especially MEW, because my friend has hacked his wallet many times until I am tired of having to give the tofu to be more careful in using MEW, my friend's biggest mistake is to open and view the contents of his wallet. he entered the fake MEW website and was also very similar to the original, and instead opened his wallet by entering his private key, and finally the wallet was hacked by hackers.

I'm using a hardware wallet. I do not think about security issues.
It is very convenient and protects me from any threats. And I advise you!

We need experts here to give us some tips on how a wallet can be secured from being hacked
Your submissions will be welcome
Cheers!
Starting work with a purse, make sure you download it from the official website. Do not store the computer passwords from it. To view the transaction can use ETHERSCAN. If possible, use a hardware wallet. Be careful.

The best way for you to secure your wallet is to make sure that you are using wallets that allow you to keep your own private keys. if you do not have the private keys to the wallet then the wallet and the coins in it do not belong to it which means that anything could happen to the coins at any time and you will not be able to do anything about it.

I am really worried because I currently use a wallet on my phone and I backup it on my computer. What if my phone and computer were damaged in the same time?

Making money in the cryptocurrency world is not an easy task. Mining, trading bounty programs, airdropping, promotions are even different ways to make money in crypto. These methods are most at times very strenuous. Imagine after these pains taking processes, some opportunist just hack into your wallet and steal away all that money. Therefore it becomes imperative to take stringent measures to protect your wallet.
I suggest that: (1) you protect your password not saving it in your mailbox but on a notebook that only you can access.
                      (2) Getting a good hardware security wallet system.
                      (3) Limit your access into a public cyberspace.

I experience this before. Way back 2017. I got my first bounty reward, I really don't remember the name of the project but I think that was Loci. That was my first campaign and they really paid the bounty participants. That time, the price of the coin is really good, and the market is good also. When it entered my wallet, it was transferred to another wallet at the same time. Looks like someone is watching my wallet.

There is absolutely nothing you can do about hacked wallet to regain your stolen token, but what you can do if you notice your wallet has been hacked is to transfer all the tokens to a safer wallet and make sure you pass key is safe.

It is important to be careful about how and when you access your wallet. I strongly stand against using public WiFi its just like begging to get hacked.
Also access you myetherwallet using the metamask which iny opinion is very safe. Hardware wallets are the best and safest so I reccomend you use an hardware wallet, especially if your portfolio is huge and you do not want to take unnecessary risks.
Getting hacked is not a nice experience and it won't be if you experience it, so stay safe.

Hacking is always due to some careless on the part of the holder. We should be more careful of our carelessness than hackers. Change passwords often and don’t reused/share, use devices that is dedicated to crypto (not porn), and back up private keys. All it takes is a little effort to be safe.

I suggest to keep the password more carefully and carefully before entering a web. Maybe using a written password will be better. The intelligence that some people have is wrongly used to hack someone else's account or wallet. That's a shameful crime.

For those hacked wallet so sorry for what happen ,but all you need to do is get or provide another wallet, it can not be trusted anymore the keys are already be known so it is not healthy to use that wallet anymore, so you have to move on ,and next time be careful with your transactions and take a great safety for your wallet the next time around.

Initially, I'm not expert in it. But, I always stay to be careful when using my wallet. It is also important to save our private key of the wallet securely from the hackers or other people. Using the save browser or other software/hardware imay be helpful.

I think Ledger Nano S is a Bitcoin hardware wallet, Ethereum and Altcoin based security features for cryptocurrency storage and security for coin. It connects to any computer (with a USB port) and attaches a secure OLED screen to verify and validate each transaction using the buttons on the wallet. Ledger Nano S supports the storage of multiple currencies such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Altcoins in the same wallet.

you should keep your computer always clean. if you have a big wallet, you should use a brand new computer for trading, storing. you should use a hardware wallet as well. such as trezor or ledger wallet.

The main problem is installing multiple wallets on same machine. Some wallets have malicious code that can send a copy of your wallet.dat to a remote Pc.
The best thing to do is to install and run wallets on virtual machines and use different passphrase for each of them.
That is my two cents.
