hello, just curious about your thoughts on the current market sentiment, do you think we're going back up to 8k levels?

everyone hopes btc can get back to touching $8k even $10k this summer, but I do not think it's coming any time soon. maybe btc can touch it at the end of the year.

i have to disagree with you guys, i think it will go up to 8k because it's manipulated at this point, those buy orders that recently happened were bots and i doubt that it will drop further before we see another rally to 8k-10k.

To remain optimistic the dude, yes it can happen to reach at a price of $ 8000 but most likely it takes a long time where pumping is not too strong for now there is still an awkwardness in investing in Bitcoin, people prefer to wait in a fairly low price then from they are more waiting, the volume is not too core in determining the fluctuating price increase can move suddenly up or down, the price will rise again to achieve what you want but not for now, take a long time.

The market now for BTC is very unlredictable compare last year that is why I focus my artention on other alternative coins that have more benefits in the future. Just HODL!

Your question becomes real, Within 20 Days after your post, Bitcoin went to the 8K USD plus, But Today we are seeing a red market again, Bitcoin again down to under 8K USD. Maybe this short time pump happened for the ETF Hype. Hype is gone, now bitcoin again dropping.

There are several ETF being proposed, the latest news is actually old news really based on the Winklevoss twins ETF which has been rejected before.  I think I can remember negative news on this in like March 2017 a while back and in terms of price it was ages ago.

The actual speculation for ETF might be around the futures based proposal which is not set for a final decision till Feb 2019 and the biggest players and investment companies will be aware of this timeline.  Bitcoin selling off here is just profit taking on the recent rise and some limited mis understanding of the various ETF proposals possibly.    But thats a temporary effect and it was already perceived that the plain winklevoss ETF would not pass.   Some think it relates to the other proposals but it doesnt really.

I would like to think the headline of that ETF is just a label for various sites to place on the general break in negative sentiment that BTC has seen for some months.   In graph terms the negative trend has worn out and sellers are apparently exhausted in that trend at least.  


7724 is the nearterm target downside I have for BTC.  The bigger concern is if the price settles at this lower point or just touches it as support before rising again, the news itself suggests just limited selling before reforming.   I believe its bullish while trading above 7724

But I don't think this bad news will affect to much about crypto price especially Bitcoin price :). We no need to worry so much about this bad news and keep holding as long as possible :).

Though the thread was created in July, its still opt for current situation. Yes we are yet to touch $7k. So $8k is certainly possible to the maximum end of this year. This may seem bit easy but still current growth trend can take the value to minimum $8k. Compared to last year's growth, bitcoin value should reach minimum of $10K by end of October 2018. We can hope for at least $15K by end of December 2018.

With the current market situation, I don't think it is possible. Every time the market goes up, there are people/bots that was trying to ruin the price. You will notice that on every exchange that you will be trading. Those bots are killing the crypto world setting up multiple orders with a low price every time the market recovers. If this continues, crypto will not have new investors.

Anything can happen. Surely, we can breakout from the falling wedge upward and do some quick short term uptrend and then followed immediately by the continuation of the correction. It is the market, and anything can certainly happen. On the other way round, we could just end up going lower as the case may be, but whatever it is, only time will tell us where the direction would really tend towards anyway. Bull run is a term that is overstated when it comes to the situation of the market, and a short term uptrend should never be considered as a bull run. If you want to classify a market as a bull run, use what happened towards the end of last year as a bull run and I really do not see that happening that much this year anyway. That is correct, around 8k$ we have a strong support, once we will be above that level and fix it (stay for couple days) then next level of $10k is opened to us, very psychological price. Initially when the value of Bitcoin started rising in July, it was thought that the market will rise as high as $20000 this year but the consecutive falls made that impossible.

Even still it is thought that Bitcoin will be leading the crypto market again as we approach the end of the year or the start of the next year. Moreover, there might be big jumps as we cross the $10000 barrier because till then, the demand for the coin would have been intensified.

Two months ago to be exact on July 29, 2018, the price of bitcoin has touched altitude, up to the level of $ 8.206 and now bitcoin is at the level of $ 6.453. It should not be difficult for bitcoin rising back to the level of $ 8.000. After we reach $7k, then it will be possible for bitcoin to break another high price. I keep seeing that we can't go over the 6.8k USD resistance level. We tried to hit it a few times but the shorters and bears are constantly bringing us down back to 6k/ 6.4k USD support levels and it looks like we can't rise above this and have a breakout North anytime soon. I don't think the shorters want Bitcoin to go up or the market to recover. They just want to carry on shorting and squeezing our 55 profit every two/three days as they play on Bitmex and Bitfinex with leverage, so they don't care anymore about big market swings or a bull run,. they make their money every few days shorting the market and not letting it grow.

The highest price that reach by bitcoin so far is in the of $7000 last week then declined again after several hours. Ther is still more than two months left in this year and many are still hoping for the bitcoin to go up before the holiday season start. $8k is still attainable if the top coin go into the bullrun mode but factors that needed to push it is still nowhere to be found.
