On this website you can easily find an ATM near you, I had an idea like this myself for a website but it seems someone was faster than me. There is ad space there, I would consider it if I wanted to promote something, the website it's pretty cool, good design, excellent ranking in google, SEO wise it's a good deal.

Oh wow... checking out my hometown of Vienna I see that we apparently got 76 ATMs in the city. I wonder how current / reliable this map is though. I remember seeing a similar website in the past indicating Bitcoin ATM locations where none existed anymore. However I'm pretty sure that this map is actually missing some of the Vienna Bitcoin ATMs, but maybe those already got removed and I'm out of the loop myself.

Still I wonder how much use these ATMs see, given how the usually have quite steep fees compared to using exchanges.

don't seem such a great news. I mean, in all Belgium, only 8 atm machines? I would hope for more, just 8 is a ridiculus number. For an entire state, not less than 50/10 would be ok for the start. I know it is not easy, but there are also private industries that sell them.

I believe European countries will integrate bitcoin in their system quickly. Some countries have taken steps in that direction and others would follow soon. The problem is developing and poor countries, they have a long way to go.

It's great that Belgium is faster than other countries developing in the adoption of the crypto currency. I am confident that this process will go ahead in other countries. But explain, what are the advantages of using bitcoin ATMs?

It could be better if it will increase before the year ends. Im hoping to see huge improvements for bitcoin this year despite of the very  big downfall in the history of bitcoin, seeing these ATM's give us the hope that bitcoin still has the chance to improve and might become a currency.

Oh come on man thats really cool to hear. This is the one side of the world an there is my country which is not even willing to accept the crypto currencies at all. They have recently banned all the crypto to fiat operations and vice versa. When I see countries offering such services (crypto ATM's) and things like that then it gives me full insight that how these countries are really forward thinker about everything. They will surely get genuine hands over the crypto currencies and will help its economy to grow to next level and my poor country will be poor one more time.

I do like Bitcoin ATMs, I think they are awesome. It's just unfortunate that they charge outrageous fees. I mean it is understandable since ATMs are low volume, so as time goes on the fees should drop a bit as more people use it. I hope more Bitcoin ATMs pop up over here in the United States, they definitely help raise awareness of Bitcoin and increase adoption!

I did not know that in Belgium have already put such ATMs! I thought that such first cash machines for the exchange of crypto coins appeared in Africa! In any case, soon such ATMs will be on every corner! I am less knowledgeable about this topic, but I think this is a very good thing that is owned by Belgium and this will make it easier in terms of transactions.

Belgium like estonia is one of the countries that is very crypto friendly and the 8 Bitcoin ATM machines is more than that. I think Brussels has more than 3 ATMs.

It's not just belgia that has many ATMs but some other big countries have been scattered all over the world, the development is very advanced for now, being the capital to continue to grow and know more for the deepest, ATM will be very useful as a function and provide convenience.

Belgium getting implemented with few number of bitcoin atm machines around adds more usage from the people of Belgium. In the past several countries have implemented bitcoin atm machines and due to the increased fee levied they went out of use. If such scenario doesn't prevail in Belgium then it is a success.

I looked at this site and something made me very curtious because there are countries that have not regulated bitcoin and even without regulating bitcoin those countries have many  Bitcoin ATM machines? what is the criteria for installing these  Bitcoin ATM machines? I see that in jamaica there is an  Bitcoin ATM machines, but I still have not heard that in jamaica there is a lot of bitcoin demand. these countries:

Good thing for Belgium and there's one thing that came to my mind that there will be another good industry that's related to bitcoin that can be a good business and that is making more bitcoin ATM's.  Adoption is coming and companies that will create these ATM's will have the advantage.

Belgium is a developing and friendly country of immigrants, I think the existence of bitcoin ATMs there is worth it, because the large number of immigrants looking for a more decent life there. I think it's a breakthrough and bravery by a country bordering on the Dutch.

The criteria is pretty simple
How many people with knowledge and money think that installing an ATM will give them profit, nothing more.

It has nothing to do with the economy or the size of the country.
For example, France has just 2 listed there while Kosovo 4....

It definitely has something to do with how friendly the country's regulations are. If the country is supportive of Bitcoin, then it is possible that companies may look at the profit motive and set up bitcoin ATMs. If not, they wouldn't want to cross the government's path. You would have very few ATMs being set up.

Really?as of this moment we have 3400 atm that has been installed and operating?wow thats huge number and a shocking reality because the last thing ive heard we have atleast one thousand plus machine but now im amazed and i know that this is the adaption worldwide if this continued to multiply i am seeing in five years were conquering the bannings of some countries

I'm glad that we got 9 Btc ATMs along 5 different locations here in the Philippines, at least we can say that we're not outdated in this kind of technology. Anyway, is this site legit and updated? Because I've read a post in our local board before that there is already a Btc ATM availabel in Makati but it's not on the list. Hence, makes me feel a little bit doubt in this site; how come that the Financial Capital of our country which is Makati does not have a stuff like this? It is nothing new and I dont think it is a great news that we should happy with. First of all even there are thousands of bitcoin ATMs in a location if no one wants to use it. It is still useless. Bitcoin ATMs are known for charging huge fees on every transactions so why not just use an exchange to convert your bitcoin to fiat currency and vise versa. In my country there are few because there are no demands for it.

I do not know why this news is a big one since they just built 8 ATM machines, what will be the advantage of it? People will be knowing what is Bitcoin because of it? I don't think so, Bitcoin is pretty popular enough for them not to know. It will affect the price of Bitcoin? I don't think so since people will continue to sell and buy Bitcoin without those ATM machines.

It's really strange that there isn't a single one in my hown town of Leuven, since it's a university town.
If I had the funds, I'd definitely invest in putting one here, but that's currently a little bit too expensive for my budget (given that you'd need a location).

I do not fully agree with your statement, if we are talking bitcoin industry globally, the 8 bitcoin atm machines in belgia is a pretty good progress when in other countries like Indonesia (where I live) even crypto is still a long debate, whereas quite a lot of users in this country. but I agree if we as a community expect more than 8 atm bitcoin in belgium, because of their status as a developed country and quite open with the current cryptocurrency industry. at least this news can increase confidence in bitcoin in other countries.

This is great news! Belgium is quite advanced (tech wise) and it was a bit of a disappointment to see such a slow adoption of Bitcoin ATMs. With BGST moving into the market as one of the largest operators in The Netherlands, Belgium now has its first two-way ATM. 8 machines might seem like a small number to some but is big news for a small country (that is strategically very well located!) like Belgium.

Countries in continental Europe are always fast integrating bitcoin in their systems. Some countries have taken steps in that direction and others will follow soon. The problem is developing and poor countries, they take a long time to follow.

Very nice information.  I see most of the ATMS i.e. 2004 Bitcoin ATMS out of 3409 ATMs are installed in one single nations i.e. USA.  America is the superpower of bitcoin ATMS in addition to being super power in other auspects.  
I was thrilled to see that even small nations like Vietnam; Serbia ; Ukrain ; are having ATMS.  
Definitely checking the progress of the installation of bitcoin ATMS; I can say ; tomorrow is the day for bitcoin only.  Crypto currency bitcoin will rule the economies.

Bitcoin ATM is good and easy to convert your bitcoin into a fiat money that you can use for your daily needs but i think the price in every converting your bitcoin into fiat in ATM is way too expensive thats why i prefer to use exchanger.

I don't know how authentic the news is but if it is really true then is good news for blockchain technology. This can really promote the use of bitcoin in the country. Bitcoin shall be the world's topmost currency very soon.

That’s great news and I think I’ve read that topic somewhere, I just forgot if it was from the social medianor a topic here in this forum. That only goes to show that the crypto market is really getting there and hopefully a lot of people will adopt to the big change.

I think ATMs will be a dead end unless they get their act together. The fees need to be within the realms of reasonableness and two way would certainly be a lot more useful as time goes on too. In theory they should be a lot less hassle to deal with than logging on to exchanges and joining them but the reality often makes that extra hassle worth it.

Some last notes to keep in mind when discussing the integration of ATM machines:
- Governments usually, in the actual stage, accept the adoption because of to control the funds of crypto-users. (check about ATMs in South Africa)
- Exchange and tax fees are to be applied for every operation you made via ATMs.
- Peer to peer options are always best for crypto cash-out, so why not giving the platforms of exchange the ability to withdraw to bank accounts 5check about the RBI ban in India.

Many ATMs means a lot of regulations so a lot of limits for users. In my personal opinion, i think anybody uses ATMs should forget about anonymity which is the main principle in crypto environement.

I also checked that website but its not pretty accurate when pointing the place of atm machines. Guess it is just an assumed or something they just concluded of, i want to know if there are really bitcoin machines somewhere. Here in Manila we do just have a few company accepting and acknowledging the use of bitcoin.

What can we do in the bitcoin atm? Sorry if this sounds stupid but i only know atm as a machine where we can withdraw our money, or use it to transfer money and such.
If it really applies in bitcoin atm, then it means we can transfer or use that atm to transact using bitcoin?
Since i think it's impossible if we withdraw our bitcoin. Well, what's going to appear? Since bitcoin has no shape right, unlike paper money.

Bitcoin atm have a high fees when you buy of sell your bitcoins to there atm i think its good to use an local exchanger only to help you withdraw your money than this atm that have a huge fees.

One of the main reasons why bitcoin or cryptocurrency is very volatile is because there are only few avenues to spend cryptocurrency without converting it to fiat money.But if we are able to get to a point where bitcoin can actually be spent directly for goods and services, then the big volatility will be reduced greatly and I think having ATM is one of such great steps in the right direction.

Well, I came to know about many countries like Belgium, Zimbabwe, Kenya, US and many more to get Bitcoin ATM's in their country. I know that this is very good system and it is going to help people a lot because they don't need to wait for transferring their Bitcoin through online and by this ATM they are going to get HOT CASH in their hand. I'm currently in Belgium and have looked for ATMs here,I've came across the same website as you but the main problem is there isn't any ATM in Belgium that is accepting Crypto ---> Fiat option,all often only offer to sell to you some bitcoins at a high rate also most of new ATMs require KYC by phone verification,fingerprint and ID card which is annoying.

It's simply not true you know.  I am from Belgium and I was looking for ATM's (to transfer BTC to fiat that is).  There WAS one in Antwerp.  I contacted them and the ATM was moved to the Netherlands.  Don't act like bitcoin is a thng here.  It's not.  It was for a brief while at the ath in dec/jan. Now it's not anymore. 

Don't know if someone already mentioned it, didn't read all 12 pages I'm afraid...
But last I saw the only ATM in Ghent "broke" earlier in the year, with no intent of getting it fixed apparently ::)

More and more sophisticated ways of spending Bitcoin or acquiring it will come about as mass adoption slowly takes place around the world over the coming years.

I completely didnt know about bitcoin atm machines in belgium but its such great feat especially how it goes to help the easy of transactions on the blockchain platform. In the days to come, i personally look forward to many more so it can help bitcoin gain more awareness and acceptability.

I found this via web search, https://coinatmradar.com. There are 3757 crypto ATMs in 75 countries over the world. It makes me surprised, i thought that very few countries have bitcoin ATMs, under 10. I was wrong. Bitcoin and the whole crypto are accepted in more and more countries.

Some of my friends have asked me who is going to use Bitcoin ATMs, when we have a huge number of crypto exchanges out there. I told them, a lot of people don't prefer to purchase their crypto from these unregulated exchanges. Such people may be ready to purchase their coins from ATMs, even at a higher rate.

This news is True. There are 8 Bitcoin Atm's in Belgium. Great news for Crypto family. But unfortunately there is no Bitcoin ATM in my country (INDIA). Moreover Our Finance Minister Mr.Arun Jaitely has announced not to use crypto. So Belgium is very lucky in this context. We hope very soon the number 8 will convert to 80.

It would be interesting to see some ATMs with low fees. All machines I know charge a high fee so that there is no advantage vs. an online exchange.

I really don't know how true this is, but I feel this is what every country needs. We need to be technologically aware, and advanced at the same time. Actually, In Indonesia, it is already implemented, but since there is a government regulation that do not allow bitcoin to do transaction as a payment, then the ATM has been leaved for several places. IT is good that you have an ATM machine dedicated to bitcoin fanatics. But here in the country I belong we only have one ATM bitcoin machine, I tried it sometimes but I just noticed that the size of the transaction which I had made on the machine was so big.
