Well, how can I say something negative with this show of so much enthusiasm and optimism for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general? As for myself, though am observing well the market trends and can be feeling some negative about the market but at the back of my mind I would love to be proven proven wrong...I want to be surprised soon with a good bull run that can last into next year...who would not love that good news? Anyway,. the market is all about being positive and I believe if we can all imbibe this kind of feeling to the whole market then maybe we can influence where Bitcoin should be going. Or am I already displaying unfounded optimism here?

Technically BTC has a double bottom pattern at the level of 5800-6000 USD. The first bottom was in February and the second one was in June. This pattern is very important for a reversal signal. At the moment the bulls are trying to control BTC but it is too early to say that the bull run has started.

I have my sources. The BTC pumps for the bulls are costing a lot of money: It is surgical and if you think for 5 minutes they will walk away you are stupid: In for a penny in for a pound as they say!

I also agree with you and hope the bull run come and last for a very long term before another bear again. The best think to keep one going in this crypto market is patience and to always stay positive even if things are not going fine like this bear period, it will really help crypto go a long way.

Im not sure about super bulls at the moment, i think once btc breaks the 10000 and then 12000 mark only then we can be sure of a strong uptrend and new money will start flowing in as a result of fomo that will push the price even higher.

we can see the biggest bull ever if big investors , hedge founds and big companies come to the market. Bitcoin can even reach +$50k so quick. currently btc has over 100billion mcap. If you think gold mcap , you will see its nothing. i dont know when but someday btc can reach $100k and i hope we will see this in few years.

I am not sure about that bitcoin and other coins are verge of going to the moon. I hope the bulls will come in the next months, but I think the prices are still not giving a sign of big rising.

indeed we can not know exactly when the bull will begin and when the bears will end. but we can only predict and anticipate to get maximum profit and small risk in the current market situation. I agree with you that bears can at any time occur and destroy the current euphoria.

i disagree.
the trend is not just going to be reversed that easily. it will take time for a bear market to give its place to a bull market, specially the big ass bull market that you have in mind. right now we are still testing the bottoms for their strength and then we are also seeing an accumulation phase where price will stay here more or less with some possible small dumps to trap the bears then (maybe in 1-2 months after that) we can see the big rises start.

I agree bulls are serious this time, bitcoin obviously does not fall though bears try to make it go down, in few days it will probably break $7000 then in a very short time it can hit $8000 because after $7000 bullish trend would be confirmed.

From the past highs, when bitcoin goes into bull alts are also expected to follow and go wherever bitcoin is going.

So, I want to explain mlre to people who only see good and tokens who reach the bullish market. You see all the 3 above that I have spoken of is a e-coins that grows and once go down, seek the rocket to reach moon and one that "migh" crush down slowy and sometimes fast. A near fact that everything in the crypto market moves it because of us people we decid when we buy or not to buy and hold (HODL). You seek respect but you don't buy? Investors seek achievement but to which is which is a in need of study and prediction that is a gamble.

The bitcoin bulls have not disappeared they are just waiting for the right time to strike but for the time being they are taking advantage of anyone that is selling his bitcoins for cheap, that is why it is very difficult for the price of bitcoin to go below 6000 since the bulls are buying all the coins below that price effectively setting a floor that is very difficult to break.

The bulls haven't made their move yet. The low volume trading means they are still waiting for the bears to get weak. Who knows, they could be accumulating discreetly by bagging lots of BTC thru over the counter purchases. Once they have entered the market, we will surely see the spike on trading volume which will attract the public and may go beyond the previous ATH. My bet would be on the start of Q4 2018, a volume spike could occur.

Some say that recent days development has been kind of a "dead cat bounce". I rather incline to believe the market is going sideways with modest bull potential. And as a matter of fact, there are no bears in the Bitcoin market (besides BTC futures). Those who make pressure on prices to decline bought BTC some time ago for higher price, and they consider selling it with every dip (= making another price decline).

Bitcoins at 7000 usd is possible and is going to happen soon. The bear market will end soon and the bull will run till the end of 2018 when bitcoin will be trading at 10,000 usd or more.

Whilst I hope you are right with a bull run just around the corner, however I can't help but feel we have several more months of decline ahead of us.

Look at the market cap in January last year, even with the current prices Crypto as a whole is up 25x, that's a phenomenal return on investment and people who have been in since then will still have a long way for the prices to drop before they come close to making a loss.

I sold a decent amount in January, but still hold an equal amount of coins now, so I hope that a larger range of institutional investors will start to get involved and help stabilise the price.

I dont think the bears are done. They took away too much volume. We may have to wait for the volume to come back. We need at least  one more year.

I hope that happens because I have invested in Bitcoin pretty much when its price is 6k $. I think the same as you. Because the market has gone down quite a long time and Q3 will be a good time for the market to go to the moon.
I strongly believe in the market's pumping this time and expect it to happen sooner than expected.

Whereever this might go, one thing is for sure, after those HARD FOUGHT FUD's, regulations, NEWS, developments and many other things, I just wonder if that didn't kill bitcoin what else could? TA would indicate the overbought most of the time for the rest of the year next year

It's nice to see some bullish posts, this is a make or break moment as we attempt to push past the $7000 boundary and create a new higher floor. When bitcoin rises it should take most of the altcoins with it, unless it goes supernova and everyone dumps their alts for btc :-\

For me, this year is a gap year of cryptocurrencies market. Forget about market pumping or bitcoin bulls...whatever you call them. If you look back in the past, it loo like 2014 when bitcoin price go down after 1st pump in 2013 and then go to moon. This year is same as 2014, will be a gap year when a lot of people coming to crypto market. Some of them will give up, take out of crypto market before it go to the moon.

Optimism like yours is what is needed!

Institutional investors if they decide to get involved right now are not going to invest until they are completely sure we have reached the bottom and while the price is very low they are not going to invest to stabilize the market, they invest for the same reasons as us and that is to make as much money as possible and I cannot blame them they need to look for their self interests.

Being optimistic person isn't bad but don't expect too much and only invest that you can afford to lose up. For sure there are whales but theres still no guarantee if they would tend to rise up the price once again and reaching up new ATH. For now we are still on lower or accumulation zone. Either the price would go up or down theres only two way. Its not bad to expect but always think up that theres no always an assurance into this very volatile and unpredictable market.

Actually, i already hear many times of these inspiring words before but still it did not happen as desired and ending us at a very frustrating and disappointing situation because instead of to the moon but the market becomes more in difficult. Anyway, this is better than spreading FUD because it will just make the market worse and i hope this time is for real.

I'm not sure if now is the time or not, but I can promise you that if you hold onto your coins long enough, you will be very happy that you did. I have seen Bitcoin go from $30-$20,000. Just hold long term and have faith. Don't let FUD get to you. You'll be the one laughing at everyone in the end.

The price is not going down anymore, what we are seeing is just the natural fluctuation in the market, in my opinion no one is making a move, the bears are waiting to see how the price reacts and the bulls are waiting as well since it would be a mistake to try to create a bull run right now, so I think we are in a kind of stalemate where the bulls and the bears are just observing each other trying to find an opening or something that tells them what to do.

I completely agree with you that it is better to be guided by the results, and not to listen to empty words, which are generally far from reality. It seems to me that there can be a completely different situation in the market and we will see another leader of the crypto currency, instead of Bitcoin - ethereum.

I think your observation can be right. After a big and dizzying bull run in 2017, this year gonna be different as Bitcoin and even the rest of the cryptocurrency market took the needed rest. Slowly but surely things will be picking up as we are heading towards the end of the year. So hopefully we are expecting that 2019 will be a banner year for Bitcoin and the rest of the altcoins. Money from institutional investors can be coming in soon in avalanche and I think they are just looking for the right timing. I am just hoping that next year the growth we are expecting will not be as crazy as that of 2017 which was based mostly on blind speculations...this time things should be based on value as the primary force behind it all.

It is about time people started getting the picture that nothing is actually going to the moon and at least not just yet.
We already had a bull rally last year and this is the outcome of FOMO rally where everyone was just busy getting greedy and buying the peaks until the dump.

Ethereum is never going to surpass bitcoin, if it had any chance to do that then this is the perfect opportunity to do it, bitcoin is not moving much and its price is very low compared to the all time high and yet we do not see ethereum making any progress which tell to us that despite its huge size it is nothing but a subordinate coin to bitcoin like all other altcoins.
