Post by: RobertCollins on July 21, 2018, 11:33:33 AM
Reading through the blog I did not find any list specific to what I was looking. Was really keen on a fx crypto broker list that list down names of brokers that are credible and friendly to clients from US, Canada and now joining the gang Europe guys. The list has two sections – FX Crypto brokers, who offer crypto denominated account and accept on cryptos as payments and Normal FX Brokers that take fiat payments and also accept BTC and other cryptos as payment methods.

Thanks for sharing the list here,
I appreciate your efforts, as I am more interested in crypto forex brokers, surely would like to test one of them. Would you please like to mention that on what parameters you have added these brokers in your list, as there are many other crypto brokers as well?
Just want to be sure about them before going with anyone.

Hey @RobertCollins, thanks for sharing this list! It looks well formed and is very helpful.  I was just wondering if any of these brokers offer negative balance protection also?  A lot of traders dig nbp these days. I wish I could get some more info in this regard. And there doesn’t seem to be any mention about the minimum deposits that these brokers accept.  I’d really appreciate if you could update this list with these particulars. I think it would make it more informative. :)

thanks guys.. @F$m@nia well basically i have taken this information from a thread i have been following in this other forum and that thread's pretty well researched cos the community there has tried and tested these brokers. so averaging the review these guys are the ones the fitted the bill. the idea is to list crypto friendly broker as well as the ones that onboard US, Canada and EU guys post CFTC, IIROC and ESMA.  And i have also personally referred to review around these brokers and have found them to be pretty legit. Since i have started using bitcointalk.org more than the other forum, i that i'll pull this list up here for reference and hope it helps the community here. & since they are pro cryptos it made more sense to have this thread here :)

FYI @Vic108_btc all of them are negative balance protection brokers.

nice list and it does help in comparing tried and test brokers. I trade with coinexx.. the broker is good so far.. just that they don’t offer mt4 hurts.. rest is going good and if anything change will let you know. Cheers

Thanks for taking the time to put together this list. Another one that offers crypto is ICMarkets, and they've been reasonable in terms of pricing so far. They're also true ECN, which means they compile their prices from their liquidity providers to give the retailer the best one, instead of most brokers who are market makers and take on losing trades for their own gain.

Another consideration is ease of withdrawal. Some brokers make it near impossible for you to cash out once making a profit. That's hard to know for sure so its something you've gotta test in small amounts before committing.

I know of this off shore broker- finprotrading. Been with them for quite a while. And Yes they recently started accepting cryptos for fund transfer. Good move I would say. Tried the deposits through BTC. And as crypto features, it was more or less instant. Plus the transaction cost is gone. So win- win. Looking at your list, will also try demo on evolve and Coinexx. Let’s see how it goes. Will let you know.

@rage_trader30 Thanks for sharing your experience. Can you tell me more about FinPro trading. I just opened an account with them recently looking at their trading conditions, while working on this list. Will welcome more reviews about them. And yes sure, waiting your exp. about evolve and Coinexx. I have accounts with both of them. Their spreads and execution are pretty well. Just the difference -Coinexx offers more Cryptos to transfer and they have one unique feature of any- to any. Rest I operate trough both.

Thanx again. BTW what is the diff bet coinexx.com and coinexx.org??

The broker I am talking about in the list is Coinexx.COM. Coinexx.org is a ponzi scheme. Yes people get confused between the two due to similar names but the latter one is a fraud. Use Coinexx.COM for testing.

Nice list Robert and ty.. I see more option. Might try them in future.  Good to see whaleclub on your list. I have an account with them for past sometime, they have reasonable trading conditions. I hv a turbo trading ac with them. they offer good leverage but don’t like the interest charges on it.  Another one m looking to try is Fx Choice.
Im planning to withdraw out btc from my whaleclub account hv been reading really scary things online, though my last withdrawal was fine but its been quite some time now since I withdrew funds.

Wise suggestion but I IC makets does not accept  trader from US and Canada… don’t know about their stance on ESMA at the moment will they will eventually hv to comply with that also.. the main focus of the list is to pen down brokers that are trustworthy and take us Canada and EU clients being offshore/unregulated.

@dauntlessguy well if you like everything about whaleclub, what exacty made you think of leaving them? Just the scary things online or any other specific reason? I have them on my list so little curious to know.
and if interest on leverage is your pbm. There are many brokers listed in the thread with with good conditions & high leverages. You can go for them. FX choice is one good choice ;) it goes without saying don’t forget to do ur research

I personally did not face any issues but things written online and have heard that their payout are extremely low only 3% of BTC . So I am not ready to risk my money there when there are other good safe platforms to trade on and diversify.  Will be testing your brokers as well.

Ah really, I wasn't aware of that. I thought that they did accept Canadian clients but must have been mistaken. I don't know what they are regulated under in Australia, but I would assume it falls under similar parameters?

The problem I have with brokers that are regulated under US/Canadian standards is their huge margin requirements. IC has significantly lower requirements for crypto and forex (I can't remember how much), and standard requirements for other assets.

Has anyone had successful withdrawals from these brokers listed above that they would like to share?

i  reckon they are trying to  improve us  by creating competition, which in return will derive more development and long term growth  :)

IC markets is good broker but being an ASIC broker but they don't take US Canada clients. ASIC has an MOU with CFTC and IIROC and they are obliged to comply with these regulatory bodies and not onbroad american clients.

And i hv tried coinexx from the list.. good broker with amamzing spreads. I get $10 spread on btcusd from pepperstone and coinexx spread at its worst/widest is $3...  requested a withdrawal after making few bucks and it was recived in time with no extra fees charged on top of it. Im not used to such brokers lol i always had been trading with deposit fees withdrawal fees, then crypto network fees.. and coinexx comes as a pleasant surprise though i was pretty skeptical before trying them.

Like I see IC markets have some fan following out there, but ya @adlcrows is right. They don’t offer services in US and Canada and my list criteria include this point too. So I wish I can but I cannot add them in this list right now. That is why I bypass regulations by picking crypto fx brokers who are not restrained by CFTC and other controlling institutions to operate at will. These regulations are doing no good to the trading industry and its time traders should realize that regulations or no regulations don’t matter. Free trading through crypto is the new trend in market.

And talking of withdrawal exp. , well I am with Coinexx and evolve also lately. Opened an account with them while working on this list. Also tried every feature. Both of them offers almost instant withdrawals. I withdrew my first profits from Coinexx in 2 hours and in evolve too it took less than 4 hours. One extra benefit with Coinexx I felt was any to any transfer. I withdrew my BTC into coinbase LTC wallet directly. That was like awesome!

wait what! This broker you are talking of is actually allowing any crypto to be transferred in any wallet without conversions? That’s huge. I want to see it myself. Can you come again with url. I am getting little confused typing Coinexx on google. There seems to be two of them.

yes @PetersonPaul. They allow that. And at no extra costs.  The one I am talking about is https://coinexx.com/  (https://coinexx.com/) the other one you see is Coinexx.org. that’s fake.

I believe they are not crossing they are building bridges by introducing these hybrid brokers for stockies and crypto traders to trade together. i think the lure of crypto being fast, efficient, anonymous, decentralized etc etc make it an ideal choice for stock traders to jump in. some want to embrace it for good and some just want to capitalize on it. but whatever the case maybe, its the next reincarnation for stock markets. there are lot of reasons for stock guys to jump in using these hybrid brokers.. to evade regulation, trade on leveraged products, ease of deposit, 24/7 trading and more for freedom  :)

And to make my point further clear, some crypto fx brokers are actually trying to overcome these differences between crypto market and fx or stock market.

I'm wondering how does those crossings are having an effect on the cryptocurrency price when stock market guys is paying attention to the crypto market which is strange for me.
I really do not see anything strange about it. Most stock market traders are seeing a good opportunity in this market and who really would not love that? As far as I can tell, the volatility of this market on its own makes it a very good and enticing space for traders to make a lot of profit from this market in the long run.

A lot has been said about how this market is going to be the future stocks market eventually. We are getting close to those moments and for freedom as well, it shows a good way to go.

This actually brings out the point the more. Although the site is under maintenance and could not see the article written. However it is a good thing to know that we have some crypto fx brokers that are trying to bring an alt to the differences to the whole market which includes crypto, stock and fx.
Also, I still will like to see more reviews on some of these brokers anyway to know if those who have been using their services have some reviews to share within this forum.

Must be their scheduled downtime or an error but the link is live again. You can read through it. And yes I agree fx crypto brokers are bringing healthy competition allowing better conditions to flow in. I really like what coinexx offers and they say their digital contracts allow them to provide such conditions.

@robert i just checked that link. Seems good one. But what actually is the deal with digital contracts? I mean i am aware of digital assets but still a newbie. I will appreciate if you care to elaborate what digital contracts are and how this broker is using it to make a difference?

Basically a digital contract is a way to bind the cryptocurrency and fiat together taking benefits from both the segments. Since crypto being a highly volatile market, it is advisable to hedge it against the fiat currencies which are relatively more stable. And this way the traders can have more liquidity, much tighter spreads and arbitrage opportunities. So Coinexx is actually making that happen for the traders by cross pairing fiat and crypto instruments and offering pairs like BTC/USD, BTC/EUR, BTC/JPY.

High volatility makes many traders interested, because for speculators it will easily make a big profit, of course it also carries a big risk, basically all that is sought by traders to invest their money

Hii @RobertColin . I am testing Coinexx right now after referring your list and so far the broker seems perfect to me from their true ECN trading environment. If I had any issue will cm here for sure.
But I would like you to also add UFX in your list. I have also tried them personally, their trading conditions are also decent so it could be a good addition to your list.

Hi. Thanks for your contribution friend I know about UFX but unfortunately they don’t accept US clients and list is specially referring to the crypto fx brokers who welcome US and Canada clients.

And to the fellow traders like me interested in Coinexx, here's the new update. They have just added MT4 platform as well. Officially announced it here:

That’s great..  I think I will trade on MT4 more now. And they have also added more payment options through VLOAD. Seems like they are getting good business.
And talking of updates i think you should update your list as one of my friends has an account with evolve market and he told me that they have stopped services for us clients due to some reasons.

Although I realize that it is really something that is normal, and traditional, I cannot let myself trust the broker. For me, it is better to do everything myself.

Annoucement & an Update: One of the brokers listed on thread "FinPro Trading" merged with Coinexx

Coinexx took over all accounts, staff and everything else. Looks like a very smart move by Coinexx to grow bigger and stronger. Hope this acquisition proves to a positive one for the clients.

DONT use Coinexx, here is my story:

All the money in my account has been stolen. I have been trading on the forex market through various brokers for a year and I thought it was great that Coinexx offered the possibility to trade with altcoins. I still had 4000 XRP and 50 LTC in my wallets with which I did not do anything yet. After creating an account I was able to transfer the coins to Coinexx. Because I first planned a winter sport I had not yet dealt with my account. After I returned from my vacation in January, I was shocked to see that the balance was 0. I immediately contacted Coinexx how this was possible since I did not write off the amounts myself.
According to them, they had sent an email, after which they transferred the amounts to ETH and then debited them. The last amount was not yet debited at that time, but they could not stop it, they said.
I have always asked for substantiation or proof that the order was issued, but until now I have not received anything from them, only promises that they will be working on it soon.
So I just lost my money, it was about $ 2,873.00 at that time !!
I did further research together with an IT expert to see what probably happened since my mail account was not hacked, they probably got access to Coinexx with brute force, then changed my address to another address so that they could make the payment confirm. Then they put my e-mail address back as if nothing had happened.

BEWARE before you go to work with this party, the security and help you get is very bad!

Updates:
  • Going to take FinproTrading out of the list since it was acquired by Coinexx 6 months ago. And Coinexx is maintaining the standards set by Finpro and even raising the bar. Lot of positive reviews about the broker online, therefore they retain the top spot in the list
  • Evolve Markets stopped accepting US clients. Therefore taking the broker out of the list as it does not meet the list criteria

@RobertCollins have you come across fxbrew, a crypto broker? They seem legit and offering great conditions in my testing account. USA friendly, accept crypto payments, MT4 and MT5 supported. No payment charges. Good broker.
