This forum was created for people to learn more about bitcoin and not to hate it or spread false information about it. Guys, is it enough that these days we sit here >:( and here all sorts of FUD being spread about bitcoin saying all sorts of things which are not true???
Let's not forget that it is as a result of these these FUDs that brings all sorts of panic sells which brings the value of bitcoin down and what bores me is that at the end the come back here and say, "Finally bitcoin is dead" forgetting the very fact that they were the very ones that caused it. But they can't because bitcoin is still strong.

If Bitcoin is not strong enough to withstand some criticism, then we should all be cashing out now.

instead of thinking of ways to silence trolls (which is impossible in practice) start thinking of ways that we can make the market bigger so that it is not affected by "panic sells".

for example the real problem is the fact that exchanges are not trusted enough for people to use them as much as they should. if they become more trusted so that we see a lot more open orders (both bids and asks) then we can see less volatility, and a much smaller drop due to panic sells and a much smaller rise due to FOMO buys.

Normally I would have said let Bitcointalk forum ban anyone that will say any negative thing or spread FUD about bitcoin, blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. Any system that do not welcome criticism will never grow. The criticism is making bitcoin popular and stronger.

Censorship has been discussed several times on the forum but stopping people or banning them in a way going to be against the spirit of decentralization which the very fabric that bitcoin itself relied upon. For me, I would subscribed to the idea of more enlightenment on the part of those who are in the know so that people especially newbies who are easily swayed by FUDs can have the right information to go on with rather than outrightly introducing a form of ban to those who spread the FUD. The difference in views of participants in the market is even making it an interesting one.

yes, they always make us bored, they spread the panic in the market, they are creating a bad chart flow and spread FUD, but all their negative actions will not affect bitcoin.

Then this will be a boring community. As much as we hate them, we have to give them the chance to express their thoughts and then we simply debunked everything they say. FUD will be like a shadow for bitcoin because its based on speculation. So the best thing to do is to fight those trolls and warn newbies not to panic sells because they are not actually losing their funds while they hold. Haven't you notice lately though that some of them are quiet? Its because bitcoin price is going up again.

The very basic flaw in this whole scheme would be that it might discourage people who have some fairly constructive criticisms about the latest trends in the market. Yes, the number of people who criticize BTC without any factual information is ever growing, but for now we have no choice but to bear them all the same.

Yes bitcointalk should ban all haters of bitcoin and blockchain technology, we know we get haters everywhere if something start new so bitcoin haters also exist here so don't be hesitate their dream never come true because bitcoin is stronger cryptocurrency and no one can stop it, from last six months many haters are crying but in July all's mouth shut because of bitcoin price hike.

Even if we do it here by chance,what could we do outside as the bitcoin world is very big.

The only thing we could do is to educate newbies about bitcoin's potential so that the efforts of such FUD spreaders would go useless.

I don't agree with your idea, it seems kinda childish. It is Bitcoin talk forum, every individual here is free to express his views if it is love or hate. Let them speak and share their feelings. It will be injustice if we impose our opinion on someone to only write what we want to read, will slowly and gradually effect the productivity of this forum.
If someone loves Bitcoin they have their own reasons and if someone don't have their own reasons for it. I don't think only a single thread without any authentic news could effect the price of Bitcoin or alts as well.

I don't think this a necessary contribution to this platform. Bitcoin is not above criticism and its really make the game more interesting. If someone identifies something that may be a threat to his investment in Btc, i don't see such a person as a hater; hes just sharing his opinion for advice

As always, people who criticize bitcoin will always be there. Rather than blocking these people, getting out with knowledge and responding with information is a more effective result.

Well, I understand what you are saying but i don't think that will be the best option. I believe we should educate them. People say false things about cryptocurrency because they have less or false knowledge about cryptocurrency and bitcoin. We need to share everything about bitcoin to clear their ignorance. Most bitcoin haters are just ignorant.

I have seen many people who create tons of threads when the time comes in and bitcoin start dropping. They think that their couple of bucks are going to die now and they will get pennies now. What a big loss for them ::)

Imo these hate threads on the forum is not one of the major reasons why people panic sell. I've said this before and i'll say it again not everyone who owns Bitcoin browse Bitcointalk. I doubt majority of the active traders frequently go to the forum and check the Speculation board then sell once they see some FUD threads being started by some newbie. If these haters get banned by spreading FUD they'll make new accounts and continue posting.

Use the ignore button if you can't stand those type of users. It's there for a reason.

This is why the forum was built for everyone to express or share something about Bitcoin whether if its positive or negative. Let's face it guys! In all life aspects, there are always haters around you, even successful people have more haters than us.

There will be criticisms for every system out there. And in some instance criticisms can help something grow and see its flaws. If everyone just accepts bitcoin to what it is now we can never see that it needs to improve on. We need this criticsms in order to grow.

The number of people that are in this forum that spread the supposed FUD is very small so that they could stay all day spreading this supposed FUD that this would not change the price. Now you must see who are the real responsible for the FUD. Well, I believe that we should not condemn constructive criticism but again any baseless accusation should be neglected. Even though the great investor Warren Buffet has some different opinion about the crypto industry, we cannot underestimate his proficiency when it comes to the trading and investing. Similarly when it comes to the criticizes, if they have some valid points to say then we should listen to them as it might help us to grow and improve ourselves.

Some are just critics with important and reasonable arguments . There are some who clearly are trolls and deserve to be kicked out... They frequently post things that are irrelevant. I think they just want to upset the market or piss people off.

There are people who really hates btc out there and for that one its there but on this forum I don't think anyone can just come to this forum and at the same time hate btc. I think that will never happen

I also do agree with those who say that bitcoin is stronger than any criticism because bitcoin has real value while destructive criticism doesn't and never will. And yes, I don't believe destructive criticism is capable of doing any harm to btc.

That's very difficult to do and say if you do get the forum members involved to fish them out you'd potentially reduce the number of possible BTC users. I think the main reason people dislike BTc is because they don't understand it. If anything we should aid with that

Those people wanted bitcoin to get out of the way, maybe because they stop investing to bitcoin, or maybe they use other coin. Everyone has the right to their own opinion, even those who don't like Bitcoin. And they have the right to express their opinion publicly. Also different people have different experiences and some had bad experiences with Bitcoin.
Anyway, the best way is to fight then with arguments and to debate about pro and contra.

I don't think anyone takes these mega-threads seriously. Censorship is not a good idea to fight back. If people stop posting there those threads will disappear into oblivion. It's mostly newbies who bring them back to life as it's so easy to repeat what someone else has said and pad the post count.

Really are they really worth the stress? i think we should just let them be haters are gonna be haters and they are gonna always hate but sometimes its good to hear them talk so we can make corrections on our flaws.

I really understand your frustration and i have shared similar thoughts before but i believe we should allow them to be hear and see how bitcoin thrives because it was spoken against when it was first generated but look at it now. And more to the point, Just as the Bible says how glorious would it be if there are no haters who will see the success of bitcoin in the upcoming years.

Bitcoin really grows because of them but the haters also grow, but i believe that some of the haters of bitcoin is now are into bitcoin. We do have different point of views on bitcoin, some are into bitcoin and some are against bitcoin. We cant stop them for hating bitcoin. I think its fine the way it is. Cryptocurrency is a zero-sum game. People, especially traders wouldn't profit if there aren't any FUD. Besides, eliminating it would be more taxing than getting cryptocurrency legalized in a country because people will always ask, speculate and have expectations for this new technology.

Yes, I think bitcoin haters should be banned or given a negative trust. They are making bad impressions of bitcoim therefore resulting into a decrease in the number of active users here. To that end, I will just patiently wait here for the moon the happen once again.

Yeah you are right, we should get rid them, they just make other people who not really know about that false information panic and make them lost their income when they should still hold it and make better income from it.

Criticisms should always be welcomed because, constructive criticism helps a platform to grow but spread rumors and trying to scare people off from investing or even creating an unrest inside the community should not be tolerated at any cost. Either there has to be a way a censoring their comments or just banning them for spreading false rumors would do for now.

Most of the FUD here comes from a dozen or less accounts, it's really not that hard to press "ignore" button if you don't want to read it. Also, it's a good thing to have some FUD, because when it is disproved with educated arguments, it results in more confidence for newbies and they won't be scared next time when they hear those arguments again.

I believe everything have a critic behind it. If they hate it too much then they could get out on their own. This people will get tired somehow.

The real problem is the fact that exchanges are not trusted enough for people to use them as much as they should.  Of they become  more trusted so that we see a lot more open orders both bids and ask then we can see less votality,  and much smaller drop due to panic sells and much smaller rise due to fomo buys.

I am so done with all these bitcoin haters. I am so used to them telling and spreading fake news that I jist don't give a damned about them. But I agree with this censorship thing, everyone here is not a veteran and a lot of new and potential investors come here. We should do something to those who spread fake news that scares away potential investors.

Honestly, you can't blame them for using this forum to release their frustration about their investments. Also, we could take those FUDs as a warning and a reminder that we should always be careful and take prior research about the ICOs we want to invest in. Although it is pretty annoying to see those people who gets easily swayed by FUDs resulting to them contributing more to the dump of a specific coin, despite giving them all the advice we can give for them to stay strong but it is useless at the end.

No. Haters don't have an effect on grown-up investors. If you are making financial decisions based on FUD, or the utter nonsense of crypto "technical analysis", then you were going to lose your money anyway.

to avoid being fooled by the FUD news spread by bitcoin haters is to continue to believe in the strength and specialty of bitcoin because bitcoin has survived this long from the various storms that confront it.

Your Idea is very nice and useful to use. If you can do that, it will be good for Bitcoin. Then they will not be able to spread false rumors. We do not have to face losses.

Haters are all around us and they seemed very uncontrollable. What we can do best is to accept that they exist and not to entertain them. They are of no help, if they are not willing to learn and open their minds, there's nothing that we can do about it. Let's not allow them to hinder our support to bitcoin and with our goals in life. Bitcoin is an open, borderless, decentralized, neutral and censorship resistant technology. And this forum also promotes those features. So haters, scammers and even McDonald Trump can freely express their thoughts here. As long as there's a sense with their topics.

I know right it somehow gives FUDS to those beginners wanting to invest in bitcoin or cryptocurrency. And these FUDERS are saying that go to bitcointalk.org. You can learn in there. And they'll say that bitcoin is so sht, just like that.

I very frequently hear many people call Bitcoin a bubble that will one day be destroyed. worse still they say that bitcoin will return to its original price and many bitcoin investors will lose money. But until now the news was nothing real, the bitcoin started up again and quiet.

Bitcoin would never be die and we keep growing and developing in terms of technology, we dont need to worry about those haters,  cause they will regret with what they say and we the one who support and believe on it will stay strong and become more better in financial and knowledge than those who are hating it.

Let them be. Just focus on your investments, because if you entertain them, you'll just get a headache and it will distract you from investing. I understand your concern on the FUD spread, it does affect and somehow coerce others into panic selling specially those that have less information, less data and less education on the economy of cryptocurrency as a whole.

But then again, instead of throwing them out, why not go for a hard hitting sense of educating them about the economy. Let them know beauty of your preferred approach, show them data and perhaps they will realize the numbers they could gain should they start loving bitcoin instead of hating it.

Its better to stand your side than thinking about the other side. There are no perfect place, everything there is someone who will spread hate because its their perception but for us we need to know what's right and what we think would help us.

I think that those participants who are well acquainted with crypto-currencies do not pay attention to haters. By the way, black PR still has not been canceled, so negative messages do not always mean a really bad attitude to the crypto currency. Perhaps in this way they attract attention.

We cannot expect that all people will love the reality of bitcoin. In every aspects, there are called the hater, so do the Bitcoin. Many believes in bitcoin positively and others are bitter about it. But come to think of it, those haters often help us to be aware. Dont you think they are not bothered? They are more pressure than us on how to overthrow our belief in the bitcoin. And we are making ourselves busier to defend the cryptoworld to those doubter because we are also learning from them. We are becoming more conscious to protect our wallets. Dont mind them, as long as we are working for it fairly, we have nothing to worry about.

I think that would be a direct strict step. If any member tries to create FUD in this forum, he should be warned 2-3 times. If he still continues to spread FUD , then he must be banned from this forum.               

I don't think it's a hater but they are disappointed with bitcoin, they have issued everything they have for bitcoin but they are disappointed with the current state of bitcoin and feel panic, in my opinion what is actually being done is to be patient because not everything we want is in accordance with expectations and starts HODL.

Yes, we must get all haters of bitcoin out of here, that is correct but the real question that we must answer here is that, can we do that? What do I mean with this. Haters gonna hate. Haters cannot be really remove because those people who only knows negativity in their body will try to find a way for them to say or spread false information about bitcoin. Also, after a wave of haters are the new haters that are forming. They are constantly created by many instances like those who aren't successful here that what makes them haters.

I think that this is the rhght thing to do. But we cant blame them if they dont like bitcoin. There are several things that we can do to prove to them that bitcoin gives a lot of benefits to us in that way there is a chance that they change their mind about bitcoin.

Sensors have been discussed many times in forums but stopped people or banned them in a way that would conflict with the spirit of decentralization which is the fabric that bitcoin itself relied on. For me, I will subscribe to more enlightenment ideas on the part of those who know so that people, especially New Bies who are easily influenced by the FUD can have the right information to proceed rather than directly introduce a form of prohibition for those who spread the FUD. There's two way to take criticism, one will destroy you and other makes you want to better. In corporate world, I usually hear the word "creative criticism" specially when boss point all your mistake, kinda humiliate to the point when you want to resign but at the end of the day they will tell you it's just creative criticism and wants you to do better.
This is also how we should see other point of view with bitcoin, let's be open minded and just accept that their level of understanding with regards to bitcoin and it's impact to the value of all altcoins are limited. We actually don't have to stoop to their level of understanding. If bitcointalk admin ban them then where's freedom of speech and I don't think it's healthy not to hear bad side of a thing.

In this forum, there are Moderators who filter threads or content that are not relevant to Crypto. And it's good, we don't need to respond to threads and posts that spread hatred towards crypto. Because the Admin forum is there to filter it.

Getting them here will be off no use to me personally, let least let them stay and witness at least what bitcoin is qbout doing again of which they have to clue of. Before their own eyes they would at least know what we always yalk about.

Yes because they are just toxic here, ranting and blaming everything to bitcoin. They will do anything just to make other people shame about bitcoin. They will spread false news about bitcoin so that other people will stop in investing. Haters gonna hate and I think no one can stop them.

The truth is whatever cannot be criticised  is probably not genuine. Whatever can be criticised and endures the heat and pressure of bad or unfavourable media attention and yet survives is here to stay.......This is the definition of crypto.

That would have really been helpful on a superficial note but if you reconsider it carefully you will realize that it is a wrong decision. First of all, i believe just like Gold is subjected to a whole lot of pressure and heat to come out refined so must bitcoin be refined through such process. How can you even do that? As much as we would like to get rid of these haters, I don't think it's even worth it. This forum is open and caters to all kind of thinking. Admin cannot simply kick out someone because he posted something like, "Bitcoin is trash!" See, all of the positivities and negativities in this forum boils down to one thing, learning. We can never learn without knowing the negativities of life. We just need to be objective in the way we see them. Don't waste your time on haters. Focus on your own business. 

on OP not only here on this forum people create FUD about bitcoin  all social media has a big impact. and i think this forum was created to express there experience and sharing knowledge about bitcoins. and for those expert on crypto see's someone spreading FUD don't bash them but teach them. let them realize they spreading wrong info. we cannot blame them we never know whats behind why they spreading FUD.

You're right, getting them out to this forum is not a solution because in the very first place this forum is created to express your ideas and thoughts about the topic, I believe that soon they will realize how bitcoin afftect our lives positively

Anything under the sun, thing or a person, there is always some people who are against it. Even the famous hollywood celebrities and singers have all haters. We should accept them and try to open their minds about the good things in crypto. Instead of pushing them outside, we should let them in until they realize they are wrong.

Maybe it is bad that we are seeing such FUDS in this forum and actually asking our selves what are they doing here? though they're not even interested in crypto. But as these challenges goes by it builds our trust, specially if a project proves that it is legit it is a relief and those haters have a false accusation.

Bitcoin bring the lot of people under on roof. Most of the people are here love bitcoin and bealive bitcoin. Some people have they don't love bitcoin. But we meed community to grow the popularity increase of bitcoin. So we also need them.

I believe in free speech, so I have no issues with pessimists and fear-mongers posting here. If we are right and bitcoin is the future of currencies, then we will be rewarded by the market while the naysayers brood in agony. Even if we keep on driving them out of here ,tbis bitcoin haters are always on the go ,I do not know why , but even how hate or furious them about bitcoin,  but it can not shake the bitcoin legacy ,it is already establish ,trusted and respected by others , so the best thing to do with these haters is never mind them, leave them away, and continue the works.

Don’t be afraid of them. They can’t cause the fall of bitcoin. From the very beginning of bitcoin til now it was able to stand all criticisms. It only shows how strong is bitcoin. I see their critics as an opporunity for others to know bitcoin for what it is. Think positive out of it.

we cannot deny that there is no perfect system in this world, it is the same as cryptocurrency. then do not be closed to the criticism given, because a system will grow stronger with a lot of criticism given.

Well, I believe what we should focus is how to keep bitcoin growing and spread facts about it. There will always be critics, as well as, people who are looking for things that can destroy bitcoin that is continuously getting popular and growing. Though, I don't really understand such persons whose hobby is to spread negative infos. Why on earth would you suggest the above? What is a good product with critics and haters. if we "kill" all critics and haters from the forum then, we might not get anyone spending time to analyze and identify loop holes that needs addressing. I wouldn't vote in to take haters out of the forum  but then i will vote in for strict regulation of their posts.

I think we should! Kicking the bitcoin haters in this forum is acceptable for a reason that first of all, this forum was created in order for those people who do believe in cryptocurrency will gain informations and knowledge about the bitcoin. Well a free discussion is actually healthy for those studying and researching to be able to assess from both sides. I think we should filter those that are obviously just trying to be negative without any basis and just for the sake of it. In this bad condition of BTC market, they are supporting and spreading good things to make the bitcoin price high again. So, they are truly bitcoin lover. Haters of Bitcoin are deserved to be banned in this forum. They are trying to make investors panic. Thus, it is difficult for Bitcoin to spread in many countries.

I do not  agree that haters should get out of here, we cannot please everyone in this forum. In fact, criticism is actually healthy in order for us to realize what is wrong and where should we focus on improving. We cannot control how people think but what we can do is to help them be educated in order to lessen misconceptions and fake informations to spread in the community. We should educate people for them to have a deeper understanding of bitcoin.

Determining the Haters of Bitcoin might take a lot of time because they might hate Bitcoin but they still use it and also uses other Cryptocurrencies that bases its price on Bitcoin. Some users might hate Bitcoin but still likes Alternate Coins that they do not know that coordinates with Bitcoin for its platform and other working processes.
