instead of thinking of ways to silence trolls (which is impossible in practice) start thinking of ways that we can make the market bigger so that it is not affected by "panic sells".

for example the real problem is the fact that exchanges are not trusted enough for people to use them as much as they should. if they become more trusted so that we see a lot more open orders (both bids and asks) then we can see less volatility, and a much smaller drop due to panic sells and a much smaller rise due to FOMO buys.

Normally I would have said let Bitcointalk forum ban anyone that will say any negative thing or spread FUD about bitcoin, blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. Any system that do not welcome criticism will never grow. The criticism is making bitcoin popular and stronger.

Censorship has been discussed several times on the forum but stopping people or banning them in a way going to be against the spirit of decentralization which the very fabric that bitcoin itself relied upon. For me, I would subscribed to the idea of more enlightenment on the part of those who are in the know so that people especially newbies who are easily swayed by FUDs can have the right information to go on with rather than outrightly introducing a form of ban to those who spread the FUD. The difference in views of participants in the market is even making it an interesting one.

Then this will be a boring community. As much as we hate them, we have to give them the chance to express their thoughts and then we simply debunked everything they say. FUD will be like a shadow for bitcoin because its based on speculation. So the best thing to do is to fight those trolls and warn newbies not to panic sells because they are not actually losing their funds while they hold. Haven't you notice lately though that some of them are quiet? Its because bitcoin price is going up again.

The very basic flaw in this whole scheme would be that it might discourage people who have some fairly constructive criticisms about the latest trends in the market. Yes, the number of people who criticize BTC without any factual information is ever growing, but for now we have no choice but to bear them all the same.

Yes bitcointalk should ban all haters of bitcoin and blockchain technology, we know we get haters everywhere if something start new so bitcoin haters also exist here so don't be hesitate their dream never come true because bitcoin is stronger cryptocurrency and no one can stop it, from last six months many haters are crying but in July all's mouth shut because of bitcoin price hike.

I don't agree with your idea, it seems kinda childish. It is Bitcoin talk forum, every individual here is free to express his views if it is love or hate. Let them speak and share their feelings. It will be injustice if we impose our opinion on someone to only write what we want to read, will slowly and gradually effect the productivity of this forum.
If someone loves Bitcoin they have their own reasons and if someone don't have their own reasons for it. I don't think only a single thread without any authentic news could effect the price of Bitcoin or alts as well.

I don't think this a necessary contribution to this platform. Bitcoin is not above criticism and its really make the game more interesting. If someone identifies something that may be a threat to his investment in Btc, i don't see such a person as a hater; hes just sharing his opinion for advice

Well, I understand what you are saying but i don't think that will be the best option. I believe we should educate them. People say false things about cryptocurrency because they have less or false knowledge about cryptocurrency and bitcoin. We need to share everything about bitcoin to clear their ignorance. Most bitcoin haters are just ignorant.

I have seen many people who create tons of threads when the time comes in and bitcoin start dropping. They think that their couple of bucks are going to die now and they will get pennies now. What a big loss for them
