I have $500 and I want to invest it wisely. tell me successful altcoins where you can send my money.

Now market is still on downtrend so maybe better to hold your 500 dollars in dollars not in cryptocurrencies or if you know good trader you can give your 500 dollars to him.

Well, my only advice to you is that learn the market first before you invest. A lot of good coins to buy especially with altcoins are still dump right now but if you don't know much about that coin then for sure you will lose it later on. If you a newbies then don't buy altcoin. You should buy bitcoin or ETH, in this case buy ETH is profitable because its price will increase because the demand that created by its token.

I think it is good for you to buy some eth. Its price is not high so you can buy in more coisn with the same money. btc is too high and the profit will not be so good with your money. As for other coisn they are too risky now.

Maybe invest in helmets.  I'm taking a hammering out here.  Be very careful when you jump in, buy quality, and be prepared to go negative as catching the bottom is a tough task.  Make sure you don't need that cash for 1-2 years.

As people here suggest is best to do your own research because you're gonna get a lot of shillers here trying to sell you their coins, my personal preferences are coins that deal with smart contracts because I have bad penmanship and I don't quite like lawyers. These are your Ethereum, Neo, Waves, Mywish, Blockcat, etc. I like the idea that you can draw up a contract with no lawyer and know it'll go through since it's gonna be thrown upon the blockchain.

I think the best place to put $500 right now would be in some blue chip stocks that are on sale.  When big names like Facebook go down so much it is obvious they will only go up. 

Other than that, if you really want to stay in crypto I would suggest trying to learn the margin and short/long trading games.  people seem to x2 x3 x10 etc on those.

You have to invest in an Altcoins that belongs to top 100  Market Capitalization because that means that the project has less risk for your capital and the team in that project taking it seriously. Unlike the other Altcoins that are not belong to Top 100 has a great chance to loss you money. It is good to invest in diffrent altcoins. Those altcoins that are trustable and profitable. Ethereum and bitcoin is a good choice. Ethereum can be for long term investment. These two are trustable coins.

In my suggestion invest in ADA (cardano) it has a potential altcoin that can give you a huge profit. ADA is a good coin and many investors support ADA.

I think you should google lists of altcoins that are hotly tipped by others, and also do your own research. The reason I say look at others is that I'm assuming you're quite new. Alts have the greatest room for growth long term.

For me NEM and ETH are good. But still, it is important that you do your own research before investing on in any altcoin.  It will be your choice at the end so do not depend your decision on others opinion.

In this time i suggest you to invest your money on Ethereum or Bitcoin, because the price of ethereum and bitcoin is low right now and will grow in next month, but if you want get money profit you must hold it until 2020.

I agree with Bitcoin and Ethereum as they are the best coins in crypto market and considering that $500 is too small to buy more coins. But if you really want to diversify more then maybe $100 each coins but you should be extra careful in your research to avoid losses.

it is better to be safe especially when investing even it is a small amount of money it is better to go with eth and bitcoin do not settle for an investment with alts because it will really took so much time for your investment to have a good profit and since the market is too cheap it is better to buy more and more and keep holding those coins because it will really benefit you in the end of the day,

If you're noob don't jump right away in 1000's altcoins listed in Coinmarketcap .com . Just focused on top 10, because these alts including BTC have a high  volume and constant update about the project.

Usually, start with the big ones like BTC ETH but once you learn more and more it's not a bad idea to invest into ICO-s in which projects you believe in.

If you want to invest in an altcoin then I would suggest that you start investing in a coin such as litecoin. It is a good coin and you can not go wrong with it, the only thing is that you will not be able to get a good amount of coins with that amount but even one coin is a good choice from that coin. Or you could invest in monero, it is also a good one
