you think Eth will back to 500$ ?

you forgot to say when!

ETH is like any other pump and dump altcoin. it is now getting dumped and it always has the chance to see another big pump in the future after it reached the bottom. but it first has to reach that bottom and that will take a lot of time because bag holders are serious in this coin.

you ask if it is possible to go back to $500? yes but i suppose it is going to be very hard to pump it that much again.

I think after approving ETF on Bitcoin SEC will approve ETF on Eth and Vitalik will release Casper and Plazma. Eth's price will rise above $1000 after that, HODL for 1-2 years.

That too much for ETH, at this point the only reason why ETH is getting some attention is because of the update after that I don't see ETH will still go consistently up and my speculation is that ETH can go $800 but won't go any higher this year, maybe it can go up higher in the upcoming years but this year I doubt it going $1k in just a short time period.

Ethereum is a promising platform so again many investors are participating in Ethereum so as soon as possible it will move to 500 USD.
Because currently little positive in market so no one is predict the future outcome but this coin is quite different so it will reach 1k USD in end of the year and many projects are follow the Ethereum technology so surely it will never move to downtrend in future.

After Devcon-4 will be between $ 400-500. It's just my opinion and the traffic in the past years.

ETH can back to 500$ or any other value only if BTC increases its value, this is how altcoins market works so far. But from recently it seems that this has changed, and we can see that in fact BTC lost in value around 2000$ from Jul 25 2018 until today - and ETH some 150$ in value at the same time.

That jump of BTC from Jul 13 2018 to Jul 25 2018 has increased its value for 2000$+, but in the same time ETH is rise only 50$. So if we compare that data we can see that ETH is drop to 330$ at this moment, which is 100$ down in comparison to BTC.

In general BTC is worth today almost as much as a month ago, but ETH lost 100$ in the same time.

ETH is gaining more popularity than other altcoins with this there is no problem for ETH to bounce back if it is hit by a big blow, their platform, and the team behind is the asset of the coin, therefore 500$ is reachable but in due time because of cryptocurrency is struggling right now.

I think the market will not collapse at this time. crytpocurrency is a new market, it has great potential. At present, the market is facing many difficulties, the price of all crypto has decreased much, the price of Ethereum is also very low, only about $ 320. I personally so much positive over Ethereum. Of course It won't forever stay at this price and will one day return to this mark. I personally prefer ETH, doesn't matter whatever happen with it, ethereum will reach 500$ even more For hodlers.

Etherium is a strong platform and it's not being replaced with another one yet. So its price will go up when the market is back in green.

Now the ETH price is at $ 322, it still takes time for the ETH to reach $ 500. I think the ETH price is less stable, we don't know when the price will reach $ 500. That make sense. I thought about that too. Now BTC is the most stable coin on market, so even ETH now costs low, than in 2017 when BTC price was about 6500 in November 2017, but after that ETH price went up with BTC and all we saw bull market.
Now I think people sold alts in the first move and after that maybe they sold ETh and other huge coins to buy stable BTC.

Ethereum grow is a must and getting on it feet to $500 is what we should expect from the next pump. Many investors are actually afraid now because of what has been happening to ico projects that are using Ethereum as a contact and that affects Ethereum pricing and I know in future Ethereum will be one of the coins that will become leading.

I think Ethereum will recover from the current downward slide of 300 to 500 as suggested. The market is terribly down as of today but I believe the market is set for recovery. Ethereum has been very sluggish even when Bitcoin showed signs of recovery in the last few weeks but the prospects are great in the months to come.

Nah I don't think jhat Ether will come back to $500, it was overhyped if you ask me and was way beyond its true price so the price coming down was pretty obvious for me. There are many other coins that are providing better functionalities than ethereum for example check lisk its way lower the price of Etherum but provides more functionalities than ethereum.

Of course it will be back at least on 500 $, maybe even higher. But it will take at least half of the year, now the price and power of all the altcoins will take Bitcoin. Maybe after ETF with Eth will be the progress faster, but until December I think the price won't go up so much.

Currently eth is around  $300+ so it's much more easier for it to attain $500+ it's previous all time high was around $1000+ I'm expecting it to reach and exceed the price

I am sure eth will grow back to previous highs it has always been a zig zag growth pattern for eth so maybe an excellent opportunity to buy more and more eth right now, i cannot give the exact timeframe but eth will cross 1000 mark in few months.

It is possible to invest in other areas, For example: the OPP Open WiFi project is extremely promising. Ether can be back to the 500$ at least before the year end. The market is now breeding and if one don't have patience you might dispose your Ether or any other coins away which you must regret later. Ether is undervalued and will rebound soon.

No one know exactly on when will eth to reach $500 again, but pretty sure that it will reach way beyond $500 until the end of the year. Let's just wait.

It is possible that the announcement of possible BTC ETF and Bakkt project somehow influenced in what is usually happening in the market, when BTC price rise up almost all altcoins follow that upward trajectory. I think many just sold altcoins and convert to fiat, because when you look at the price of BTC it should be much higher if all that money is flow in that direction.

ETH is in some strange situation these days, in last 24 hours BTC price is go up for 200$ and ETH is stay at same value. It is one of 4 coins in top 20 with no price increase, so maybe someone in the background is working on lowering the price even more.

Eth surely will go back to $500 or $1000 there is no problem related to ethereum, it is just about the bear market.

We are in the opposite side of the fench. When bitcoin went $600 I dump everything but I can't resist the temptation to go back and purchase them again at $300. So I'm holding right now because I believed that this Ethereum is one of the altcoins that have real usage and like Bitcoin, has the potential to go up in the next coming years. A bit frustrated though to see that price hits $300, but its a golden opportunity not to be missed.

I don't have the crystal ball, but I predict that if everything goes well with Bitcoin, the next coin that will follow its path is Ethereum. So its still a win-win situation for us, I might be sounding like a broken record, but we need more patience specially at this time.

well today ethereum is drop down around 270usd, this is kinda upset me since this is already mid Q3. i dont know what happen but im planning to swap my assets to bitcoin

Not the way it's going at the moment. I had a lot of faith that the whole market wouldn't dip much below $250 billion - but this assessment now looks more like hope than logic.
I do still believe there are very solid underlying reasons as to why crypto, and smart contracts in particular, will be huge in future - but maybe now is not the time.
We can trade to try to build a position, or buckle in and try to ride it out, or just sell up and be gone.
For me it's probably a bit of trading but mostly holding.

Investors, including myself, have always believed and hope that the ethics market will quickly recover and that they will quickly regain their position as the market leader altcoin is eth.

there are a couple of ways you can look at the situation with ethereum and in none of them you would decide to hold it.
first is what i believe in which is ethereum has no real usages, it had a pretty good idea which was ruined because of bad decisions such as having fast blocks and unlimited supply and breaking the immutability of it, bugs in the protocol, centralization and a lot more. and that can eventually mean ETH will be replaced by a competing similar but better smart contract platform and its price will never go back up to what people dream of. which means holding it is pointless.

second is thinking it can be pumped big time again eventually since the centralized authority behind it is powerful and rich. but at the same time when you look at its market and the price you can see that the decline is already 80% and it is not even slowing down. so holding until now was a foolish idea because there should be a 500% pump for you to just get your money back without even making a profit. and that is simply impossible. so you should have already sold a long time ago when the warnings came out.

Depends on bitcoin, if it will not rise then eth can't be $500. But We all think btc will rise soon so does eth.

I strongly believe in ETH, in fact my holdings in ETH is more than the BTC. It's the only project with so many dApps built on it and going ahead there devs are making it even more fast by implementing sharding and casper technologies in the very near future.

There is no exactly time, date or when the ethereum going well again because of the situation now are hard to know on what will happen in next week, months or at the end of 2018. Yes, ETH will get back to $500, but it would delay a bit which will cause more HODLers to dump. The market needs to get rid of huge investors that are impatient to hit margin. And also endeavor to implement full decentralization of cryptocurrency, if not, we are indirectly doing what was opposed (centralization) by cryptocurrency.

yes, I agree with you. this time is the best time for us to buy ethereum while the price is cheap. Actually ETH is in the phase of recession right now and it will keep on loosing some more value until it start the recovery again. It is not like that digital market is about to collapse and to be real, dips have their own role to play. Such bearish market provides chance to new as well as old investors to increase their coins. Digital currencies are the future of money.

eth getting back to 500 usd is a big possibility, but i just can't be sure if it's going to happen this year.  if this doesn't happen this year, next year will be a big possibility since we're expecting the crypto currency to switch back to bull mode after 2018 bear.

Well when I bought ETH for 350$ I thought this i just a gift, cause I missed that moment in the spring, but when on next day I saw the price about 250$ I really can't believe to my eyes. That was just like someone hit me with hammer or something, so definately we need some good news on market. I don't expect 1000$ for ETH , but now even 500$ for ETH would be really success.

It's only a little recovery from the bottom and it looks like there will be a U-turn to the ethereum. I just try to see the bitcoin before try to speculate about the future of ethereum. if there will be no a huge rumor about that and it seems to be a difficult thing to have happened. I saw thread from 2016 and when I first time saw it I can't believe to my eyes people sold BTC about 350$ and thought that it was a great deal cause BTC never came back to 500$ and same posts. At that moment I realised that things never changing, just people who came back and go out from market.

I don't think that any ETF can change this down trend. It's so few part of market that should not turnover anything. Other project Bakkt can do much more for crypto adoption. I think that there is no one that really doubts that Ethereum will reach 500$. A better question is how high can Ethereum go in the future, and in my opinion it can reach the value of 2000-2500$ in the next bull run.

$500 for this year will be possible because Ethereum has already reach ATH of $1400 before so it will be possible to reach that value again. Ethereum platform is the most commonly used by the most ICO to support their project in which when the time of the Bullish market will come then for sure the real demand of Ethereum will going to increase too.

I really believe ethereum will be alive again. Especially now that ghost month will end . So many investors again will invest to cryptoworld and I really think that #1 choice of some investors is ethereum.
