I agree. It almost seems like a waste if you've endured until now for you to be selling. The way I look at it, its  optimistically, saying that it can only get better which I'm certain it will.

The popular saying "Buying the dips and selling at the peaks is said for a reason" I think holding is the way right now because it is really not economical nor profitable to sell right now. My portfolio is less than half of its value, but I will still be Holding my assets because I know they will run up with the next bill run.

I'm under the impressions that the weak hands is already out in the market when the price touches $5800 already. All what's left in speculators and whales and strong hands. BTC supporters  were strong when is price  was less than $1000 for a very long time after  the crash. What is there to worry  when the price right now i more than  $5000. This is nothing compare to what happened last 2013, the holders during that time  dumps but there are more  who  bought. It took  3 years before it bounce up back so 3 years is going to be a whole lot of fun for you.

Cryptocurrency is long term investment so I'm seldom panic when the market is red.
Of course every one have their own choice for their investment as long as they able achieve their goal, PROFIT !

I concur with this submission. The whole market was sent into panic when the downtrend resumed. They tend to use bad news to make people sell off so that they can buy the coins low. Do not be deceived and dont sell off your coins. Be patient.

yes right if your friend told to sell some make a good decision about it because well know that the market is really on the dip price, just be patience  and wait for a good opportunity to sell to get good profit at the end of the year

If anyone experiences that during a huge drop in prices, that's on them.  In my opinion it's silly to sell anything when the market crashes.  No one makes money buying high and selling low, right?  The ones who do this are driven by fear and that is toxic to any trader.  There are a lot of trading novices here.  Sometimes it's amusing, other times it kind of makes you wonder why they're even in the market.  It's a rookie mistake that they don't ever seem to learn from.

I got some altcoins and ICO token last April I sold them for almost $500 not knowing the price increases that would make the said price for almost $1500 and more, the price fluctuates and decreases in the present but the fact that I insisted to sell is a bad choice to make given that a potential crypto can raise anytime, don't be deceived the spreaders of fud if you knew that the project or the altcoin is legitimate instead treat this dip as a sale run.

Yes you're right, we should should not be deceived to se our ethereum and bitcoin at the current giveaway price. The price will definitely rise again. I fell a victim of panic sale last year and I had the regret. That will not happen this year.

Prices are deceptively low and people are giving up hope of it rising, this is causing people to sell up and leave crypto. Opportunities are there to pick up from weak hands, if they want to panic sell or have a situation where they need to dump, then others will benefit

Is just our emotions which could be hardly to control,  but once we can stop it,  possible there is no panic selling happen again.  In times like these,  it is better no to focus and check your coins regularly cause it only give us stress watching everyone is in red.

I agree because if you are afraid that market will crash down to zero,your tendency is to sell all your coins but it is not really a right decision to do. Just bear and hang on for a couple more months for sure it will recover again. You will only lost all your invested money in crypto if you sell them now for a cheap price.

The blockchain technology is been accepted, cryptocurrency is developing and growth of cryptocurrency seems sustainable. Yep, I also think this is the time that big sharks is controling the market and make other investors to lost their patience and sell their coins with low price and big sharks will have big amount of BTC and wait till the price go up and sell off

I certainly agree with you bud, we should be aware in this bloodbath that there are sharks/whales waiting in the wings. Just tell to your self why would you sell your coins when you know that you will lose money in doing so.

I think it will get worse actually.  Maybe not terribly worse but there is still some down side to the markets.  We are due and possibly overdue for alternate coins to surge but it cold be December or even later into 2019 before we see a significant change in market forces to bring back prices of alts.  however, I also think the prices wont' stay high very long and that the actual bull runs we'll see in the future will feel short and just feed into the turbulence and volatility that we always see.  Then again, that's what a lot of people like about the crypto markets anyway.

In the crypt you need to have patience and so I try to evaluate whether the coin has a chance to get out of the dump and if it seems to me that there is not then in that case I'm selling. It does not make sense to give way to panic

The market is a little bit gloomy these days and the mood is not quite good for selling any tokens or coins except if one is thinking of already quitting the game or leaving this market once and for all or maybe just liquidating some already worthless and hopeless digital assets (shitcoins as others may call them). Current selling is the wrong decision if you want to get money. It makes the possible profit lower but you have a good losses in the case of benefit from this.

I was once convinced by a mate to sell my tokens and get fiat. According to my mate,crypto will be as it is till next yera so I should withdraw all my coins and spend for nothing to lose, and nothing to gain.

I don't think it's as easy as you say, the fact is that the market is always experiencing a downward trend that makes quite a lot of crypto more down lower than before. and this makes a lot of people panic of course very detrimental, I'm sure you are not an investor. so you don't really feel the impact of the decline especially in this year.
but there are steps that I can do with a decline like this that can bring profit.

currently there are a lot of coins scam, many bounty campaigns are scam, I haven't dared to work in the bounty campaign, I get a scam token, if you want to invest in the trade market, don't join the bounty campaign.

It's not about being deceived but being afraid. Fear is the thing which is responsible for making the weak ones to panic that later leads them to unwisely decisions. Even though some of them know that panic selling is not practical at this stage, several still come up to this because their fear now weighs heavier than their fate to crypto. Well, we can't blame them for their behavior simply because that's normal for a human. All we can do is just support them for their actions (assuming that persuading them further will not work).

Yeah only those who has courage to hold their coins while we are in a bearish situation will have a chance to be profitable once the market returns to a bullish trend. We had this situation for almost 8 months and so many investors have lose their patience that they decided to sell their coins at losing price which is not good idea.

Yes I agree with you, do not be easily fooled by the market situation of down, because the current decline is not always caused by the number of holders who sell, it could be manipulated by a big pope who tries to throw the coins to lower the price so that many holders panic and do Big sales, after the prices are getting down they buy them again for sale at expensive prices, this case has happened before and proved that this method brings huge profits for them.

Your opinion is the same as my opinion, we seem to be forced to sell coins that we have at very cheap prices, as if the crypto market will go off and make us lose even more, this is what makes crypto users sell all the coins they have for fear of losing again. but what about when we sell all of our coins, suddenly the crypto market improves, it will make us cry right away. we really have to be a little more patient.

Patience to when ? I guess you bought something at 18000 and now is trading less than 8000 USD you won't talk of patience seeing the frustration of long term holders are facing for keeping bitcoins which never seems to rise anytime soon.

I feel after reading this forum for a while a lot of people have sold thier stashes at incredible losses.  The sad stories on here once the rebound happens will be in the dozens.  People always sell on the low and buy on the high.

I'm guessing a certain amount of the people who are selling are making a perfectly good decision. There's always opportunity costs and profit/savings aren't everything.

For example, you'll only get to visit certain glaciers today (before  they disappear, or you may be able to get a piece of land and build a house, where tomorrow the area you're looking for is all sold out.


Now, those who read the mainstream media and fall for their lies, there's no respect for their decision. If you truly believe bitcoin is dead, or a ponzi scheme or anything else those dinosaurs tell you, you deserve to lose out on crypto.

Markets are falling in a row and many are frustrated, but they need to be patient. Don't be fooled by the current market. The market will grow again with tokens that are not sold at a lower price.

I agree that we are going thru some tough times and we will see the price increase once again but for how high will it go is the real problem. We are expecting bitcoin to go like $12k or something and alts to follow suit so we can make a decent profit but unfortunately the highest bitcoin goes is around $7.2k levels and when that happens altcoins are just dying a bit more and more because it loses value against bitcoin instead of going up with it.

We do not need another short quick spur of increase in bitcoin price, we need a real big huge bull run that would make bitcoin at least $9k or so to make people believe in bitcoin and crypto once again. This is 100% certain thing to be happening in near future but how much it will be happening so quicker, that is the level we may retain the investors to keep investing into crypto world as that is the main thing we need all the time so that we will have a healthier balance in this crypto world.

This is more blindly optimistic. The cryptocurrency is future, and that's for sure. But it does not mean that the current cryptocurrency will be the future cryptocurrency. Maybe many coins will disappear in the future.

That's right because I'm also in the same position for Altcoins Zclassic.
I bought Zclassic at 165,000 satoshi and at Zclassic prices at 50,000 satoshi, my estimate was reduced by 80%. sad !!

Crypto is a tough field. When falling asleep and have no substantial good then certainly be harmed themselves with conditions that are full with this risk. be patient it certainly becomes a good key for done and panic is the main issue that has always been able to be found in crypto.

Welcome to this business, well things is not looking so good right now and most or all of those assets really fell so hard, what we can do right now is continue surviving, holding is better than losing your investment, rely with your own research and assessment so you can take a good decisions when
you are seeing decrease in value, take a break for a while and don't look with the current movements.

The words that is being said is very helpful for everybody. It allows everyone to take the right path so that we will be able to accept the right one for us. To gain profit we must determine what type of ICOs that we are going to join for. It us because their are ICOs whuch has a small value.

Almost everybody tend to think that there's no more hope for the market to recover. All they think is about the losses that they got right now. Of course I don't think that anyone in crypto world expect the altcoins price to be always going up everyday.
