I know prediction of the price is a B...CH :) especially in Crypto market. But  I would like to know your opinion about ETH movement, Do you think we have a room to go downward or we are at the bottom.  I am new to crypto (however reading a lot) so your opinion matters. . It will not influence me to make any financial decision but to broaden my info.

250 was a good support for ETH. But it looks like we will go down even lower; so, the next support level that I expect is somewhere between 200 and 219 USD per 1 ether. 

It is very hard to predict about ETH price. But I think eth price will go more down.

I think the bottom is already in for ETH. Right now the price is extremely cheap, it hasn't been this low in over a year.  I'm buyin up a lot of ethereum at this price and I expect to at least triple my money by the end of this year.  Eth is always considered the 2nd best cryptocurrency investment behind bitcoin so you cant go wrong.

i think eth is on his lowest price already, it will grow up soon. and as u said, no one can truly predict what will happen tommorow at cryptocurrencies market. so now i hope that eth will grow up, i have some coins of this currency. but there a lot of indicators which can tell us, that eth will grow up very soon.

For me ETH price will go down before end of the month and also other coins in market specially BTC.

I've seen predictions that ETH could fall all the way to the $140 level.

There is still a lot of uncertainty in the crypto market at the moment, Ethereum could still go down further but one thing is certain, it will surely rise with time,  When It will do that is the problem. Ethereum has a lot of use cases and already experiencing mass adoption, its just only a matter of time before we see a bullish run of ether. Invest wisely!

I bought a lot of ethereum at a fairly cheap price and I expect at least three times my money by the end of this year. Eth has always been regarded as the second best cryptocurrency investment behind bitcoin so I will make a big profit.

It's not the bottom for sure. I think this year we can see ETH below 200$, but already in the 2nd quarter of 2019 it will show us new highs and maximums. That's imho of course and not a financial advice in any way.

ETH is now a staple coin, many use exchange transactions or multiple platforms. And for the price we can't see, because it's a market secret. But when viewed from the platform development, ETH prices will be stable or up.

Much appreciated for all your replies. My strategy is simple + lack of short term tactics :) Buy some shares, move to wallet  and "forget" about it for 3-5 years. I do not inspire to be a trader, even though my respect to all traders here. so I am on a search for a long term potential "investments". And if I am lucky/wise/foolish (depends how you look at it)  to make some profit and move the funds to 529 account (which is also subsidized by usual means)

Honestly i think eth still will be dumped by many ico, seems like they will be many ico that gonna die and they seems sell it and leave cryptocurrency. I do think its just trash ico amd useless ico that dump the ethereum. But soon or later after they done dump the coin i believe market will increasing again.

I seem to agree with this TA support. If eth breaks 200, all hell will break lose. Those who collected eth for ICO will panic sell as well.

Ethereum is toppling every of its resistance while moving downwards. It still has a strong resistance around $200 and I hope it would never go below that level.
For buying, I'd still wait a couple of months and see the price direction, though buying right now wouldn't hurt you much as there are lesser space for decreasing.

I think prices have fallen sharply again before rebounding. By the time people in all groups mourn that the market is going down, it's a good time to buy. ETH is a good coin to consider investing your money. It is more versatile than the BTC.

   

Ethereum is a promising platform so surely your expectation is possible in end of the year. But most of the big whales are involved in this big dump so future possibilities of Ethereum is unpredictable and still few peoples are believe the Bitcoin and Ethereum so future pump is confirmed and we will see the good result in December.

Not sure about that but i will not try to take a very big risk to speculate about the future price and trend of ethereum. Just try to take the action to prevent another bearish trend will come such as try to buy in the vraious rate to minimize the risk.
It's possible to go down because it has started from nothing to something. it will better to take an action to keep your amount still safe.

If you know what prediction is in crypto, why are you looking for it? It will be better if you ask how to build your actions depending on the movement of prices up, down, sidelong.

I'm thinking we are already somewhere around the buttom and we are soon going to see a change in trend. Etheruem platform is a very reliable one plus the usage of the icos.

Everyone who could have dumped, dumped these last weeks. In addition the attack on the network is already decreasing. We have big announcements in the coming months like Casper and others. Buying today means that in two months you will have double the value in fiat and 3x the value in BTC.

The price of ETH is at where it broke the resistant level. I think the whole crypto market is waiting for something. Maybe BTC ETF?. I think the price will not break down. That means that the price of ETH will not go below this level.

Crypto business will not make rich people overnight. need patience to trade crypto. if you experience losses due to lower prices, the thing I recommend is to stay calm and patient.

The price of crypto currencies were staying at some level for a while so that we are not going to se any downward price movement in my opinion.Even if it falls it is an opportunity to buy more because the year end is coming on the way.

It is quite obvious by now that the price of ether and bitcoin are very low for now and the chances for it to go high are very high. ETH has been one of my favorite coins and it is really exciting to see it at such a low price. The price of ether is lower than $300 and in my opinion I don't think it will go lower than $250 any time soon. Only if BTC goes below $5000 then there might be a chance that ether may go below $250 but not lower than $200 . This is a real good time to fill up the bags with a lot of ether.

I think still ETH will go down and we can see nearby $200 level as their is still some problem in ETH server and other issues. But if you are thinking of investing for long term then you can start buying slowly and average your buying price if it goes more low.

I think that the price of Ethereum has not bottomed out yet, and it may continue to fall. Now the entire encryption market is unstable, and the market price is still in a flood season. I think it is now possible to invest a small amount in Ethereum and prepare for long-term holding.

The price of ETH decreases very deeply. I don't think this ETH will go down until $ 250. Hope the ETH price will rise soon and recover.

After making ATH of 1380$ in January-2018 Ether fallen to 270$ in last week and now its trading at 280$ mean Ether is now in bearish trend and from now I think Ether have very strong support at 250-260$ level. So one can buy Ether at current level for target of 350+$ in 1-2 months. And Ethereum is a decentralized platform for applications that run exactly as programmed without any chance of fraud, censorship or third-party interference.And some people think its price value is lower than bitcoin but this is actually a good thing for Ether investors who are looking for investing other than Bitcoin.

i think it is too soon to tell. ETH has still a lot of room to drop and go down to $10 even but it is currently slowly dropping so we may not see a big dump for a while at least.
but in any case one thing is for sure. you shouldn't trust what people say specially for coins like this that they are bag holding. they have been saying "it is the bottom" about every price that ETH has seen from January and each time they say it, ETH drops another 100 bucks.

I think that there is no where to go down we are already at the bottom. Ethereum is a good and promising coin used by millions of people around the world, so I think soon there will be rapid growth.

Ethereum is probably the best altcoin we have in the market, and a lot of us  have come to trust and believe in this coin. I think that it might be suffering now, but for a greater course. The price is low now, but trust me when I say that this isn't a time to panic, but rather hodl the coin and even invest more in it, because after now, will come a bull moment that I'm not even sure we are ready for.

when the crypto average starts to rise, eth doesn't follow it and even falls. this makes me confused, currently eth is starting to rise but it's very small and I'm confused, can eth achieve ATH at the end of the year?

Guys, let's stop guessing at the coffee grounds! It is time to understand that cryptocurrencies are a speculative tool that is concentrated in the hands of a very small number of people. It will move but before that it will touch below $200 price that is sure, as all crypto currency market is in bearish so it will show you 1 or 2 % up but after that they will go down by 3 to 6% down. Like they are trapping bull users.

I think that at this point, Ethereum is not so far from its bottom again. eth will not stop to move downward because of some panic sellers pollute the market. in my own opinion, eth will drop to below $100 before the year end (2018). so brace your self and don't let you fall in this movement because after this I know and still believe that eth will recover and rise again.

I think we don't know better than you, except big investors who can manage the news.
But if we look at the altcoin situation in general, maybe Ethereum is the worst.
So maybe you have to see it in a few weeks before making a decision.

Now Ethereum is on the principal bottom. Breaking the actual support means a new dip on lower price.
It's risky but I think it's time to move something on it.

Maybe Ethereum is losing support. But if you look at other altcoins, it seems that no one will replace the Ethereum platform, especially in future projects.

I think the ICO liquidation in order to fund various business ventures has had a lasting psychological impact on many crypto investors.  True damage has been done similar to what happened in the dot-com bubble so many years ago.  But this is technology with staying power.  It may be more than a year but ICOs and ETH will make a come back and I'm pretty sure we'll see prices clear $1K within the next 2 years. 

I definitely wouldn't sell if you were in recently at prices over $400+ unless you just really need money or think you can play additional swings. 

Been in the top and nowhere to go but down. A lot of coins are slowly - but surely - catching up to Eth. Some are even better, imo. Take Byteball, for instance. Unlike Ethereum, Byteball gives developers access to all users and vice versa through the Byteball bot store, which is a bit like the Apple app store inside the Byteball wallet  An issue with developing on Ethereum is developers know that they don't have any easy way to get their application in front of end users. They have to try and do their own marketing, which might be costly for sure. Another reason why Ethereum has so many applications built on it but very few end users doing anything. The Byteball model is simply superior to that of Ethereum.

I assume a further drop will happen soon as the chart of eth is showing as a very bearish symptom. The bottom is yet to come, howeverif suddenly there is a very good news to crypto the price might make a big u-turn and become a very bullish symptom.

Maybe this is the best time to invest on ethereum or wait for it to continue to drop! but it is worst for the holders, i hope that this will not continue to drop and it start to pump, but my buddy says that it will continue to drop and it will valued to $2 and i think he's wrong because it is too far enough to be undervalued from the current eth price.

But for sure, we don't see much increase on Ethereum when the upward trend occurs.
So maybe there won't be many changes to Ethereum's price for now.

I think it will stop going down and be around $200 USD per ethereum. It will be bad for the market if it goes down to $150. We will experience the real panic selling if it happens. Being too low will make it harder for ETH to recover. The next bull run won't happen if it goes too low. Don't give up on ETH because giving up might be the worst decision you would ever made.

We can't really make a possible assumptions on regarding on when will the price go high or does it grow low. Because all it relies in the market movement, through its supply and demand.

The current price of ETH is very low, and it is very expensive to buy some.

I think that ETH will continue to decline much this year and early next year because of some research that I read from Diar. During the past five months, these ICO projects have been discharged only 20% (907,024 ETH) of the total funds earned. Previously, the number of prodigal assets held by ICO projects reached 4,651,675 ETH.

I think we can see another movement downward. Now everything depends on bitcoin and if it continues to fall then Ethereum also will continue to lose its value. There is actually no bottom on this bear market.

I dont think it will go much under 200 dollars again.  A lot of manipulators were spreading fud about eth crashing to 100 dollars just so they could buy cheap eth of newbs that panic sell.

In recent days, when I saw the price of $ 170 per ethereum , I was waiting for the price to drop to $ 150 ::). Then would have started a panic sale on the market. But that didn't happen. Although I think it might still be, and it's not the end of the downtrend. The cryptocurrency market is so impulsive and unpredictable that it is better not to make forecasts at all.

ETH (and other coins too) has broken its several support levels now. Some levels were strong and we didn't think that those will be broken. This is a good example of proving that unexpected things are happening in the crypto industry.

You know what mate, current price of ETH is much higher than $1 so I think no need to worry about that downtrend as it may get back soon. It can go downward or upward anytime so the best thing to do if you are a newbie and want more gain is to buy low and sell high. I was reading an article today that the most of ICOs are selling their Eth currently, that's the reason of the fall. Due to that appeared two opinions: Etherum is loosing its power and in sooner time the price will fall even deeper or the fall is temporary and after the number of coins will be cutted by a concrete number the price is going to surprise every holder, so now it's the best time to buy. I really do not know to whom to believe. Meanwhile I have a fear of lost profit.

You should always look at the demand and news that are related to cryptocurrency and ethereum in particular.Judging from the latest news, no matter what the price is now, the growth will be.

Ethereum is going back up now after experiencing its lowest point. Or maybe this is just temporary, everything that is happening now is still speculation. In the end, we just have to trust the tech and hold on.

I think that can not happen, as ETH is still being applied by ICO projects, Ethereum still has a very good future. I don't think it's true, bro. Try to see now. Ethereum starts to rise and even the highest percentage of several other Coins including Bitcoin. I think this is the beginning for the ETH to continue to raise the price which was low yesterday and now it is starting to crawl up again.

Even though ethereum's value dropped and may still go down, but I think ethereum is still the leader in the altcoin. But I am confident that in a few months ethereum will pump back sooner or later.

It is always a possibility to see even more movement downward, that is why we should always have it at the back of our minds but I do believe that we have seen the bottom of this dip, it has fallen enough and now is the time for the coin to start rising back up. I think there might be some kind of pump that will happen soon with eth.

The ether will grow in price by the end of the year. The stable growth will come from October. There will not be a big leap. Dump and pamp crypto-currency is connected with global players and politics. We will soon see China again in the crypto-currency world. This will be a very great player.

Because so many manulators have player the market very well and they can create so many panic sell instantly. look at the chart and how easy the price of ethereum was going down before and just try to take a little recovery. we will see another downward in the future consider so many bitcoin hodlers are still speculating about the next ETF announcement at the end of this month.

I think ETH can still be lower but it's not too much, maybe around $150. Although ETH price is increase in these days, I think it will fall again in the next week and stay low until October.

Exchange rate fluctuation of ETH I think the next time will go in a positive direction than the current time. In Q4 2018, the ETH exchange rate will rise to $ 600 and may exceed $ 1,000. Yeah, the ETH coin rate is very low. But, I don't think that it will hit the bottom. This coin is very promising. The platform is still used for many projects with its good prospects and utility. But, this condition is very confusing because the price is still fluctuating. Just be patient and be positive thinking of the ETH price.

ETH last month faced a spiral of decline due to ICOs selling huge amount of ETH into Fiat.
It seems that ETH has overcome it and getting stabilizing. We could see discounted prices for ETH around $170 . 
ETH is a top coin and for me it was a call to action to add more to my portfolio.
If it  drops further  I will not regret it  as I hold ETH long term.

As of now, it's $218.40, so I think it is safe to say that it is going up and down as a good coin should do. As any coin should do. There is no absolute bottom or ceiling to the altcoin prices. It's very difficult to predict what is going to happen.

It was $173 on September 12, now it's $218 again. So people who bought it a week ago and sold it now made some money out of it. I think we need to go with the flow and monitor the prices closely to know when to buy and sell, although there is no clear-cut logic here.

For some time now, Ethereum has not really had a strong support, ever since the initial support was broken. The Ethereum market seem unpredictable at the moment, as the price seem getting below $200 and coming back up. Until a strong support is spotted, only then would we know if there will be a turn.

170 USD is the most Etheruem value this year and I can still laugh at this.

I think the ethereum has already reached its peak and we will not see yet another bottom, now more or less everything positively jumps for eth

I currently see the situation of downward trend towards 140 dollar, the best to hold right now is dollar, but if you are afraid to miss a chance and want to hodl cryptocurrency, then my advise is bitcoin. Buy ETH/BTC when it reaches 0.019, from there change of trend to bulls and I would hodl ETH, there are also lots of other interesting altcoins, but I would rather hodl ETH

I do not think, that Ethereum will fall again to 170 USD. This coin in one of the most perspective alts and a lot of people are using it. I hope one day Ethereum will overcome BTC and will be the number one crypto currency. But we need to wait for a few years until this happens.

I think that it  has reached the bottom and the price has corrected already. Now it is going to remain at this point for a long time until there is a recovery. Now the price of the coin has gone back to following the movements of bitcoin very closely so we just have to wait for bitcoin to go back up and then we will start seeing an upward trend in the coin

I think that now not only ETH is at the lowest position, it seems to me that today many projects are in a similar position, so you probably need to invest very actively in order to get something now
