There is still a hope for crypto will go to the moon again. But remember don't believe about any speculation about when the market will go to the moon. These days people are being so crazy to pump the tokens or altcoins. CMC has been giving us enough evidence about that. A lot of coins have been pumping more than 80% just in one night.

Making profits consist of different strategies, but if you are into daily trading its really hard to make a profits in this time, so much better to do a long term investing, take the chance to buy more, because the prices are very low and affordable, its up to you what strategies you gonna employ this time, but its okay to do long term investing.

The huge growth of Q4 2017 has attracted many new people to crypto. For a short time they saw a lot of Xs. Many do not understand the reasons for this pump. I can't understand why everyone here seem to be negative with crypto's after seeing this bear market. I've got same sentiments with you, if you will check it every hour of course you will some ups but currently most are downs. Why not choose a coin/s that you can hold for longterm and forget about it for about a year or two then go back to this thread and tell us what happened.  :)

If you are new in cypto you have to get used of this kind of situations and having weak hands is a no no. These times are like planting a seed in a pot and you have to wait until it grows but basically patience is the key.

I do not expect the market to land on the moon in the near future. Because the crypto market needs more time to grow in the long run and certainly. I am a valued investor of companies. I am not too important about the current price or the downside of the market. Because I believe in the future of this market.

That's really happening, mostly people check the prices from time to time and that is only giving themselves a stress and pain because they don't like what they are seeing.

Yes, definitely. I think in the long-term that prices for all of the good coins will surpass their current all-time highs - which for most coins was January this year.
However, in the short- and medium-term there is no sign of the bear market ending. We are now back close to the whole market low of $190b where we've been before. If there is some upwards rebound again, that will be encouraging... but there is always the chance that resistance at this price point has been exhausted and we will drop straight through. Obviously no-one knows for sure.

How can you say that thing? many people have earned much with cryptocurrency so if you haven't earned from the market then you can say that its not so profitable as everyone thinks. You have to take into consideration that some coins are long-term investments. If you are not a patient person, which I reckon you are not, go find another coin that is for short-term investment. But I do believe that big coins are for long-term investment. Hence, you should learn how to be patient if you want to have a goof profit in the future. You might fail many times, but with failure, you will find your way to success.

We recently having a pump surpassing @200 but it sad to see it back again below $200 now.  It couldn't be the desired amount we want for eth but there's nothing we can do that and it looks like it came into the price same from the start.

The market will not always a bearish situation as we know that last year we had a strong rally that hit the all time high of bitcoin at $20k. This year is the opposite of last year as the price keeps on falling due to this bearish market that we have. We need more patience if we want to recover our losses as this could bounce back in the coming months.

There is still plenty of time for the market to recover and bull run begins. If I remember correctly, the peak of bull run in 2017 lasted only five weeks. The "historic" value of the bitcoin formed at that time. Therefore, just to have more patience, the October period will be the premise to release the bullrun.

I think you wrongly understand the crypto investment because still most of the day traders are earn some profits. So you should take time and research properly in potential altcoin surely you will find the best platform. But most of the experts are well experience in trading so we will not blame the crypto market. Who take more effort in trading they will earn good profit.

It's not very profitable right now because we are in a bear market. It's hard to make money in a bear market, but it's really easy to make money in a bull market. The only market that could be destroyed is the crappy small scam altcoin market. I don't think those will ever recover, and only the main big altcoins will survive. Only time will tell.

The best way to make money in a bear market is to buy as much coin as possible and hodl.

I don't think this market is being destroyed :). You should know that downward trend is a really normal thing in this crypto world, sometime it rise but sometime it fall but at the end, only holders whom didn't become panic sellers are the winners :). Patient is the most important key.

Oh yeah there will be a change one day. Ideally, this is not the first time this is happening. Also let's take note that nothing stays at where it is forever. There'll definitely be a change. Nothing lasts forever- the bull run didn't last forever for some years back, corrections came in, another bull rally came, and we're in correction again. another one will come with the usual greater impact than before. IMHO market conditions were destroyed buy strange pump of BTC from 4000 level to 20000 and hundreds of ICO without any product and with utility tokens. Now everything goes to the normal situation.

I think it's little pointless to talk about market testing patience at this point. It has been testing patience for over nine months now and I think this is the time to bring money in crypto. Time is shifting and people are looking for safe haven for upcoming shift. what comes down must go up and crypto is no exception.

We certainly already know the benefits and risks, so whatever happens in the future we must be able to accept it, so don't keep complaining, but keep hoping and be patient.

The reason why the market keeps falling is because of impatience. Panicking ruins the market demand, people are aware that the current market is not healthy and yet they choose to sell because they are afraid that the price will keep on falling. This also contributes to lesser market demand and it also has a bad effect on the current price.

If you are keeping the right crypto assets that you need to hold for the long term then you can rest assured that it will increase when the bull starts to storm to the market, but first, you need to figure out if you are holding one of those worthless coins cause if you have any of those scam coins then you should worry carrying those stuff to your portfolio and get rid of it.

Not sure what you mean't by "market conditions". I am just assuming you are talking about the price of crypto currencies. Just compare the current value with last years price (January 2017, not during the sudden spike during the end of the year). You will see that the price actually went high many fold and is stable most of the time.
People who are holding for short term might have trouble, but in the end only the long term holders are going to be making the most profit out of their investment.

The market has been green and red all of the sudden, when we say green you're mostly saying about the rapid growth of the market with its market cap. Many coins will grow and survive but sad to say that its been said that many will die as well.

Unfortunately for 2018, the market is flooded with Shitcoins and scam ico. apparently after market fall people realise they should carefully research before invest in anything.

after months of cleansing, finally market can recover slowly from the ash of shitcoins. we can see a steady market grow in this few months.

I think that recent signs have been encouraging. We are seeing a lot of resistance to further drops at the moment, and this is about the same price point as we've bounced back from previously. It looks as though we are building a solid base for future rises now.

I also hope like that, that what happens now is temporary and will not last long. I feel that I have to stay away from the market for the time being so I will not be provoked by the market conditions that cause me to suffer.

I think the current market conditions are bad, there is a lot of bad news circulating in some media that makes a lot of traders panic, it makes the prices and conditions in the exchange place are currently not good and tends to collapse.

i dont think they will move to mooon after this time. until jan 2018 most of altcoins falled 1/10 of their price. for exmple x coin falled to 1 dollar to 0.1 dollar.

Bitcoin is in a stabilization mode. It will need to go beyond $7300 to be able to kill the bear. I think its price will stay like this for a moment before a little increase. I hope we will see a little increase. Lets wait and see what is going to happen.

Wait for the general market to hit a bear and see what crypto does. If BTC starts up, it's a safe asset like gold. if it follows market, it's just another commodity.

Yes there is still hope. I too am optimistic in a few months to come bitcoin and ETH will recover. But some alts with no usage and no strong community will end up dead in the end. Too many competitors and same product quality makes it hard to decide in which coin to invest. I often choose ICOs with already existing product and company. Unique product and usage. Its worth the gamble, for my opinion.

You need to find out if you hold one of the valuable coins that causes if you have one of the scam coins then you have to worry about bringing these items to your portfolio and removing them.

In my opinion, what I think is that Bitcoin can only get stable if it crosses $10000. Below this value, I do not expect it to stay stable and strong thought it has been very consistent even in the down market.

And Bitcoin will take sometime to achieve this value because the speed of growth in Bitcoin is not so much prominent. However we are hopeful as the technology spreads across borders; it will attract demands which directly affect the market value.

Not expecting a bull market or any recovery is like considering crypto market dead. I don't think that the market is anywhere near its end. Yes, this bear market got prolonged but bull phase is expected to come in following months. But if you still don't believe in that, it is better to exit .

Everyone who still have coins in their wallet thinks the market is going to get better soon.  Year is about to end the hopefuls are going to be hopeful after all the market rises every year end. If it won't get better then 3 months is left for this bloody year, the next year may be better. BTC price I think is the very minimum, it might not go dip below $6 which I think restores the market condition.
