Title: Why is Bitcoin allowed to continue?
Post by: Camster on September 23, 2018, 08:44:13 PM
I have been thinking a lot lately about why the central bankers are allowing Bitcoin to continue with only minor resistance.   The central bankers have set up shop in almost all civilized countries and have a money printing racket going on.  In America the central bankers are kind enough to let our treasury print the money and then they take 6% off the top thus enslaving the American population.  Don't worry though most Americans are completely unaware of any of this.  The central bankers control the military as well as they own the government.

The last country, without nuclear weapons, to attempt to bypass the central bankers was Libya.  I can still see the vivid video on the internet of Qaddafi being murdered in broad daylight in the middle of the streets of Libya.  Another fellow who attempted to not use the US dollar and went against the wishes of the central bank was Saddam Hussein.  Once again he met a similar fate.  He was hung.

The three countries without central banks right now Iran, North Korea and Syria are under constant attack or threat of attack from the central bankers.

Why would they allow Bitcoin to continue like this and grow momentum?  All they would have to do is outlaw it and 90% of the world population would bitch out immediately and stop.  But they don't do it.

Is Bitcoin a trap?  Is this a central banker monstrosity used to turn us into tax slaves by recording every transaction?  Was Bitcoin innocent and free money and the central bankers are trying to squeeze their way in so they can use it as a weapon?  The only thing I do know is they are not handing over a decentralized economy to us because they love us.  What's the play?  Are we being set up?  Are we the useful idiots getting all our friends and countrymen involved in crypto?

Obviously, it's not for nothing that you can not point out the specific person behind the bitcoin. Until now, no one knows who Satoshi is, and therefore there is no specific person to whom central banks, governments or the mafia could influence. The prohibition of bitcoin will not be able to stop the development of crypto currency.

Global banks are trillion dollar enterprises and have histories spanning hundreds of years (sometimes). I don't think institutions with such power and reach care too much about Bitcoin as it isn't much of a thread right now. In any case, Bitcoin is just another form of money, it won't be long until the banks have a stranglehold on the cryptocurrency economy too.

They do care and that is why they're trying to move their transactions to blockchain. They know that blockchain ia a more secure way of storing and sending information and will not fight it. They will use it.
What about Bitcoin? They are allowing it to function because there's no stopping it. You can't make every country ban it and you can't make the Internet go away.

Lately, you can feel that government regulations are creeping slowly into the crypto sphere, bitcoin and other cryptos are decentralized and I think the government and Central Bank should leave it that way..
With the rise of bitcoin and cryptocurrency it wouldn't be long before stringent rules are placed on them, that of course is when it's viewed as a threat to fiat

The prohibition of bitcoin will not be able to stop the development of crypto currency.

Certainly because if that happens, cryptocurrency will become an outlaw which means it will become a business done in secrecy just like other illicit businesses like smuggling etc and those kind of business don't lift the country's image, doesn't account to economic growth.

Your question does rise some valid points which are to be concerned about. In particular, I agree with you in that if the US gov. did not want BTC they could do their best to ban it, but it won't stop BTC, yet they still accept it ???

central banks aren't a united front. you have to consider geopolitics, and the fact that nation-states are competing against one another.

if one superpower prohibits BTC, they might put their industry and population at great disadvantage to the rest of the world. this is a nascent industry where there is potentially massive economic growth and transfer of wealth. it would be outright foolish to purposely get left behind.

if all the superpowers and most of the others all agreed to ban BTC, maybe you'd be onto something. but that would never happen!

You're talking about the black side of bitcoin. About terrorism and money laundering, mentioning Syria and Iran. I want to tell you that it is very easy to blame bitcoin for all sins, because no one will be responsible for these words. We've heard about Satoshi Nakamoto, but no one knows who he is or if he's alive. Where is he? That's why the government says such loud and dirty words to bitcoin. As for the banks, this is the government (in most cases)
Bitcoin has a future without black schemes (darknet)

Yes this is extremely important.

Bitcoin used to be largely used in illegal activity when it was first founded. But since it's growth and world-wide adoption it has certainly legitimized.

How will central bank or even government stop bitcoin and cryptocurrency? It's like how will you stop porn or how will you stop activities in deep web?

Just think of China, there are many restriction in China. Government giving people limited access to social media and internet with censorship BUT people able to do something to bypass it by using VPN. What am I trying to say? There's no way to stop activities in internet.

Is Bitcoin a trap?  Is this a central banker monstrosity used to turn us into tax slaves by recording every transaction?  Was Bitcoin innocent and free money and the central bankers are trying to squeeze their way in so they can use it as a weapon?

Why not check out again the idea behind bitcoin and blockchain. This will answer your question.

The only thing I do know is they are not handing over a decentralized economy to us because they love us.  What's the play?  Are we being set up?  Are we the useful idiots getting all our friends and countrymen involved in crypto?

For what?
Are you talking about Ripple? Joke.
I don't understand the paranoia. Is this some sort of FUD? Do you have any basis on all this?

Here's what I know. Sooner or later, financial institution will eventually embrace cryptocurrency and it will coexist and be use along with fiat. When that time happened, we earlier adopter have advantage.

You should recognize that Bitcoin is decentralized of digital currency, it doesn't depend on Banks or other entities. If you want to stop Bitcoin spread, it means that you should stop the improvement of technology. Bitcoin was created for make the world easier and it is as the impact of technology improvement.

How could you have thought like that? Bitcoin is big future for the global economic.

It's because central bank are know how much bitcoin can help the people and the country economic, but i didn't understand why they didn't allowing full adoption of bitcoin operation as legal currency, one thing i senn the reason is because bitcoin is threat currency to become banks are die.

Indeed, It wouldn't happen mate and with bitcoin's decentralized character government could not prevent every people to use bitcoin for their private purposes. In fact there were selected countries in asia right now adopted bitcoin as a form of payment. That's why we seen bitcoin continued to reach higher in terms of profitable appreciations from an optimistic person who has a wide thinking. Central banks couldn't stop this to transact towards money transfers, because it's considered as business matters and as long as the system was having transparency towards their clients then the banks has no issues raise particular on possible fraudsters.

Yes, not only Bitcoin, but the entire Crypto market is a great opportunity to accumulate more wealth and no one wants to waste it. It can be an opportunity for a country to rise faster compared to its rivals and even allies.

To destroy/ban Bitcoin doesn't make sense. For an example: It's like an american scientist destroying a nazi technology during the war, so no one could use it... It's a stupid idea, no? The correct would be to study and improve that technology to use against the enemy. And with Crypto-Currency that is what will happen, to have advantage over other countries on the "economic war".

because banks has no right to force us to stay with them if they don't want to, meaning as long as we have a freedom to choose what we want to do, banks don't have any options but to accept and follow the flow of the next generation which is to use crypto currency.

I think bitcoin is allowed to continue because it can help the economy of many people who use it. Not without reason if bitcoin continues to be allowed to develop until now means they have recognized the use and benefits of bitcoin itself. Indeed, sometimes bitcoin can go up and down in value but bitcoin will still be trusted by many people and its benefits will be enjoyed today.

Prolly because they don't consider bitcoin as a threat? And should bitcoin grow bigger and bigger, they already have the means to contain it without much effort. Knowing that the banking industry overshadows the cryptocurrency markets by a huge margin, it's not really hard to control the flow of the markets if they ever feel threatened by the popularity of bitcoin. Right now, they don't deem bitcoin as a threat, and there's a huge possibility that they are already benefiting from it. Also, they are trying to get the people believe that digital currencies are the future, and perhaps overhaul the need to print physical money and just replace it with digital cash instead. That way it would be easier, more convenient, and allows them to control the money supply with more flexibility and at will.

Actually bitcoin can be operated to help banks better but there are still many banks that lack confidence in the presence of bitcoin so they cannot allow the full adoption of bitcoin operations as legal currency so there is likely to be one reason because bitcoin is a threat currency to become a bank.

I don't know what is said. the important thing is that bitcoin can make a profit and I will still be here to get a profit even though it is very difficult to get profit from bitcoin because prices can change at any time. now I start to understand buying when prices go down and sell when prices go up this way really gives a profit.

well, the only reason to use bitcoin is still allowed to continue is because bitcoin is still providing benefits for current development. well, even though there are so many FUDs from people who hate it, but still bitcoin will continue to be developed.

the assumption about bitcoin is very diverse, and there is a possibility that bitcoin has been approved by the big parties and maybe it is quietly to take big profits, we do not know how the cunning government carries out its cunning behavior, and like the headings above is suspicious, because bitcoin is left just like that and there is no such strong ban from these cunning governments...

Why would you think that bitcoin is a trap? I know that there are 'conspiracy theory' saying that Bitcoin is the handy work of US authorities (CIA, FBI, NSA etc), but I'm not buying it. Obviously, there's a lot of hostility against crypto from the Central Banks around the world because they may have perceived it as a threat. However, we saw that most of the countries now just wanted to have a full regulations because they know their's nothing to be afraid of. And its not even as disruptive as it may seems. In fact, some countries whose in economic turmoil now (Venezuela, Zimbabwe and even Argentina) are going to crypto as hedge against inflation.

Bitcoin has survived all the ups and downs through the years and is still competitive in the market. Its demand has not decreased as people view a lot of potential in the bitcoin and the benefits and profits it can provide. It has the staying power and it represents the future digital money. The changing technology does not allow it to be discontinued or to die down.

That is the point, the impossibility of the total ban makes it look that they are quiet which is not like that. They fight it and some governments have made statements on it but the citizens that are enthusiast, keep bypassing it or leave the country. Bitcoin is decentralized and out of control of banks nor government.

Who knows, maybe banks themselves conspired with the CIA or other influential entities to create bitcoin for some kind of experiment--any other silly to absurd conspiracies can be possible for all we know so we can't say for sure that cryptocurrency destroyed/will destroy banks.

Crypto is trending today and everyone knows this. And obviously not everyone is a fool who are following CRYPTO. There are many controversies as whether crypto is worth spending time on or it is just a trap and engulfing us all into a bog. So there are different theories being put up by a number of people in the bitcoin community and on this forum as well. So any of the ways we cannot purely deny the fact that there is dark use of bitcoin also that fosters and leads to a negative society. ANyhow getting to the point, I don't think central bankers gotta stop bitcoin development in anyway, because there are hell lot of other things to their concern.

It is not the only reason why Bitcoin is allowed to continue, there are a lot of reasons to let Bitcoin to continue and the first one is because it is decentralized.

Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency. No one can really stop it, nor fully control it since no one really owns it. Even if we have a lot of Bitcoin, in general we don't really own it, we can just access that part of the Bitcoin that we own. Since Bitcoin is decentralized, it can continue as long as investors and traders continue to use it. The only thing that can stop it in a country is by the government banning it.

Because bitcoin doesn't follow any philosophy, ideology, and because the bitcoin community is a global one, bitcoin has no ruler or something. Bitcoin exists because of math. You can't stop it because it has no central power of failer, only if tomorrow no one wants to hold it or use it.

I think we all know that bitcoin is very huge and very potentiating crypto currency and is the most potential that it is now providing employment to millions of people around the world and they are now able to spend very good life with bitcoin so now the time of bitcoin is like that now more and more people are now started getting the fate and potential of bitcoin and thus they are investing in bitcoin and I think I’m this is the most probable reason that bitcoin is illegal in any country, bitcoin is either decentralised or legal in every country.

Well imo bitcoin cannot be stopped, banks or governments cannot stop it.
They can control their own end of the process of transferring crypto to FIAT.
We could possibly see a more agressive campaign from banks to control
their customers usage of crypto as the popularity and adoption increases.

Honestly do you really think bitcoin is a threat for banks or governments? Maybe in the future it could do some damage to the economy but even then there will be no major difference. I don't say that bitcoin is not capable of doing damage to banks but it's about people because they control bitcoin. Right now people don't take advantage of bitcoin and that's because they simply don't care about banks and don't want to affect them.
Since banks know that bitcoin can't do absolutely nothing to their economy why would they care about it and spend their money and time to try and destroy it? Anyway I don't think that would be pretty hard to do since people don't really support bitcoin when it has hard times and they sell everything when price goes down.

The Truth of the matter is bitcoin can't be controlled by any one bitcoin is highly decentralized and at that survive no matter the attack but it can never be killed or stopped by any individual, institutions or government the highest there can do is to play minimal regulative rule in bitcoin like the KYC and the rest.

Bitcoin is allowed to continue because it has already a massive effect on people's lives and the government cannot do something to remove it that easily especially for a democratic country.

Allowed? Do you think we are asking permission or something? There is no way to stop bitcoin. Despite the BS you see here all the time NO LOGICAL METHOD EXISTS to destroy bitcoin. So I could care less what any government thinks, I will continue to use bitcoin for the rest of my life. If, and this is not at all likely, my government made bitcoin illegal I would just move and pay my taxes in a new country.  Not everyone can do that, but I can.

There are various theories put up by some people in the bitcoin community and on this forum as well. Anyhow going to this problem, I do not think the central bank must stop bitcoin development anyhow, because there are so many other things to interest them. It has nothing to do with the current price. I think bitcoin is allowed to continue for it is better for everyone. I think you should allow bitcoin to continue because now the bitcoin price is very poor but for a while it will be increased, during which time you should wait and keep your bitcoin. I think the bank never accepted bitcoin anyway.

It has the right to exist. You can't abolish something that has been existing on its own without the help of government. Any moreover, I don't see the reason why one will want to terminate its existence. What harm has it caused? If you think the high volatility of bitcoin is causing an economical meltdown, then you need to think again because this has only been caused by traders who trade with their emotions instead of logically and professionally following the charts. So what ever the reason for why you are asking your question, the answer is that bitcoin hasn't caused any harm by its own existence.

Not really, its not really about how easy it is to monitor or track this transactions that is why they are having a long leash to it. They see it as a way to boost the economy of their country. Rather than trying to abolish or destroy the market they will try to absorb and adapt what they currently have as it is much easier working together than trying to oppose who is in favor of it. Wise central banks like this one know that this market in the future would be a multi-billion dollar industry and it will be hard to pass on if they avoid it entirely.

This is a very interesting angle that you are taking but the answer is not complicated they are trying to do it but they are doing it slowly because it will be very obvious what they are doing if they banned bitcoin all over the world, this is especially true because bitcoin is just a piece of data, people are not going to understand why they are banning it when many countries are looking at the legalization of illegal drugs, if they did that people will begin to ask questions and they do not want that.

Bitcoin continued existence is driven by these 2 major forces,
1. The community
2. Miners
The second point is very vital in the existence of bitcoin because without miners, no one can make a transaction on the bitcoin blockchain. The first point comes into play when there are miners alright but people do not like the coin itself so not using causing less demand. Bitcoin successfully exists bacause it has all these favoring it.

I agree that. Banks don't care much about bitcoin. The only reason is they have no control on what is happening. So, they ignore it. And even if some governments and banks try to play a role in cryptocurrencies, they can only create a new centralized one. They won't be able to control bitcoin.

Central bank giving no resistance? Who are they going to resist  ??? ? There is no central authority in bitcoin, thus there is no way the bank will be able to stop bitcoin. There is no way they can stop everyone from using bitcoin. The case would have been different if bitcoin was centralized. The government could have taken down those central authority and stop the usage. Fortunately, that is not the case. Do you think the government was or will be able to stop torrenting? If they can stop torrenting, there are chances that they will be able to stop usage of crypto currencies.

Obviously, it's not for nothing that you can not point out the specific person behind the bitcoin. Until now, no one knows who Satoshi is, and therefore there is no specific person to whom central banks, governments or the mafia could influence. The prohibition of bitcoin will not be able to stop the development of crypto currency.
it's actually simple, as long as there is demand and there are buying and selling activities, of course bitcoin will never be stopped by anyone and any country, that's the principle of trading as long as needed and many people are involved, bitcoin will be stronger and I feel demand bitcoin will never die because the world is experiencing evolution in terms of currencies,

Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, it means no one is in control of it, not even central banks so whether they like or not, the top coin will continue to be use by the people. All they can do is ban this cryptocurrency or prohibit their people from using it but they can't control it. People can still able to buy or sell bitcoin in many ways even in underground exchanges. People has the right to own any coin and this is reason why a court in China ruled in favor of bitcoin because anyone has the right to own cryptocurrencies.

Blockchain technology is very safe and sophisticated and could make bitcoin suitable for making a cheap transaction and payment tool in the future. Until now, we didn't see such progress and fee rates are still very high when compared with digital fiat currencies. That's one of reasons that bitcoin is considered as an investment tool instead of considered as a transaction and payment tool. You can't sell hopes and expectations to people for a long time. If we can't see a real progress or success in cripto world, prices will not go up sooner or later.

There are two distinct and separate issues. Firstly the Banking industry, which sits there raking in vast fortunes off the likes of you and me through bank charges, interest using our money to gamble with subprime assets etc. They do not like bitcoin/crypto because it threatens their lucrative monopoly, and secondly governments don't like it because they have no control-and governments love to be in control. So at the moment bitcoin et al is not much more than a curiosity and irritation-but should bitcoin or more likely one of the other coins become widespread in it's adoption and use then expect governments under pressure from the banking industry to take action against the industry.

How does bitcoin recording every transaction make you a slave if all transactions are completely anonymous? Even if the blockchain secretly records the IP addresses of bitcoin senders and recipients, this information is not enough to prove that this transaction was carried out by you. Plus, the legislation does not regulate it.

I think it is because no one can stop peoples to using bitcoin. For example if i using bitcoin in my pc, can government prevent me to use bitcoin ? and how ?
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency has decentralized blockchain database, not just a single database that can be blocked by governments. Aside from that, more governments nowadays are allowing bitcoin or crypto to be used in their country.

I think the main reason why bitcoin is allowed to continue is because government already see that bitcoin can trully help netizens on using bitcoin. So it may leesen their work and program. And I think one reason that bitcoin is allowed to continue is people is also continue to support and patronized bitcoin. So the government will think and analized on the next step to bitcoin's regularization and legalization. We need to be happy because even that bitcoin is not in a legal stage we can freely use it and make our life easy and comfortable in terms of paying transaction or even in terms of investments.

They do not have the authority nor the power to stop Bitcoin, unless if the government or central bank is to ban or halt BTC from their homeland and that is where they only have the power, and at the same time I don't think that central banks would even think of this in the first place, and I think that you are thinking the idea way too wrong, it was distinguished not as a trap but as something else that would help us benefit.

There is actually no single individual we can identified as controlling bitcoin since it started. And so far the founder created a holistic economy with bitcoin without any interferences and as such no banks or any other could interfere with it and have control over it. The can  only stop their operations in nations and nevertheless that does not stop bitcoin because the more some government ban the more bitcoin continues to grow.
Bitcoin cannot be stopped, provided there are bitcoin users who trade and invest, bitcoin still exists. The government cannot stop bitcoin, but can ban it from being used in that country. Because all transactions occur on the internet, no one can monitor. So bitcoin is growing and becoming big because of the growth of the bitcoin user population.

Obviously, it's not for nothing that you can not point out the specific person behind the bitcoin. Until now, no one knows who Satoshi is, and therefore there is no specific person to whom central banks, governments or the mafia could influence. The prohibition of bitcoin will not be able to stop the development of crypto currency.
yes, I agree with your opinion, if indeed there are people who are still demeaning krypto money for their respective personalities, maybe they just want the popularity that can be mentioned in this forum.

Bitcoin is not the same as other conventional currencies. There are many people in the world using Bitcoin as a currency for online payments, and many choose Bitcoin as a form of savings. Banks are trying to make a lot of choices to attract depositors and invest in their banks, so they accept Bitcoin.

we really need to support bitcoin. although sometimes bitcoin makes us panic, but all of that needs our support so that bitcoin can recover as it used to in 2017. we know that in 2017 bitcoin is soaring and many are interested, but it is different now, indeed bitcoin is declining, but that does not mean we can just throw away and forget about bitcoin.

What can they do to disallow bitcoin? They could make it illegal that is true but while that will alienate people there are many that will resist those changes and are going to become even more defiant and will be almost impossible to intimidate, this could also bring unwanted attention to bitcoin because if they ban it then this means that bitcoin is having a greater effect on them as we thought and it is likely people that are not part of the market will be opposed to the ban since bitcoin is not dangerous by itself.

Now it is also possible they think they can contain it and make money in the process for themselves in which case they are motivated by their own greed which it will not be that weird since those that manage banks live for only one thing and that is to make money.

I will express my own opinion as to why bitcoin is still allowed to continue. In my opinion, bitcoin is a great technology so it is worth bitcoin to remain in the market. As the king of crypto currencies that provides a lot of convenience, bitcoin is very useful in bringing progress in the field of payment. We can make payments across countries easily, cheaply and quickly. Of course this is very profitable as a business that has a fast movement and is unable to overcome state policies with fiat currency transactions. I myself still support Bitcoin to continue because I myself have felt the benefits and want to continue to take advantage of the benefits. I'm sure starting next year there will be more crypto currency players who know bitcoin and use bitcoin as their media transaction. Even I am sure that Bitcoin will later continue to innovate to restore public trust to continue to use it.

Why do you think the resistance is minor?
Bitcoin is already demoted from a cryptocurrency to a "store of value" - which sounds pretty meaningless. Of course LN can bring it back into currency territory but we'll see.
To answer your question - I think that bankers have such power only because people don't understand how economy works.
If they are too open about their hatred for bitcoin, more people will begin to be aware.
As long as bitcoin is only bought with hopes of future profits they can let it live and they won't be exposing themselves.

Sometimes I have the same thoughts as you, the influence of the central bank on countries in the world can immediately stop the development of bitcoin, because many governments are subject to the rules made by central banks, but they do not do so. If we see the USA is a superpower with its dollar currency, but in reality USA has a lot of debt, then the question is "who is more powerful than the superpower"

I agree mate.
No nobody can dictate the entire flow of bitcoin. It is not subject to government power's due to decentralized characteristic of bitcoin. It is the nation choice to adopt bitcoin ecosystem or to forbid its uses.

I don't know, to this day we don't know who exactly's playing behind the magnificent veil of the popularity of bitcoin, but until now the structure of its existence still benefits its users without exception, and this's far different from the concept of a currency that is fully supported by the central bank. From these assumptions, I am not sure if this is a trap created by them (the government, or the government-run central bank) because in reality bitcoin prefers Non-Government.

I think the world power have come to realize that bitcoin is the next big thing to happen to the financial world. They also have seen the good side of the bitcoin and blockchain technology which will help to curtail fraud and stealing from any financial system that deployed blockchain technology. They also know that blockchain will help them improve their tax collection effort.

Bitcoin existed for a 10 years now and that interest is long gone now.

In the past, a lot of people really are interested in that certain cryptocurrency since the price is quickly increasing. With a lot of people invested on it when the price is not even $1, that is a great thing. If they hold their Bitcoins in the past that they've bought it and sold it in the time that the price is at the ATH, that are already a millionaire. It is allowed to continue since no one can really stop it, a lot of people tried and they all failed.

It allows to continue because so many people want it They really want a change  ln some aspect of  using currencies. They liked it because of that special features of bitcoin, no third party involve to it and it is a decentralised. I do not think that central bank can easily stop it. Almost around  the world  are now using cryptocurrencies and it is continously revolving.

On what basis is bitcoin not allowed to continue? With the technology, blockchain is able to make transactions more transparent, which of course will be a good solution to avoid illegal transactions and possibly money laundering. Moreover, bitcoin is very influential for the economy of many people who hold it financially better. So with the many positive effects brought by bitcoin, I'm not sure there will be an institution that will stop bitcoin.

If this is what you think then you have really lost the whole point in understanding Bitcoin as a decentralized currency. The US has tried many times, so has China a few times, and lately even other countries like Iran have tried to ban Bitcoin. Central banks have no power, sanctions of Bitcoin addresses do not prevent anything,,, banning the trade on exchanges? Now people understand P2P trading and can buy and sell as they wish.

Bitcoin's power is that it has no power, but the power belongs to the network. The people and the users who choose to use it of their own free will.

Bitcoin is allowed to use because it gives much advantages and it has much higher value than any fiat currency. Obviously, central bank looks this as opportunity for better improvement in financial side. In addition, bitcoin serves good system that probably nothing before.

Bitcoin is potentially can make better and simpler investment or just assets storing. This is collaboration between advance technology and financial services. Therefore, there is no reason for bank not to allow bitcoin.

What do you mean 6 percent? Do you mean exactly or in general?

Also little known thing, that the fed loans money to private banks at a lower rate than they pay interest; so banks can borrow money from the fed, then put it back in the fed and earn a profit.

Also the interest rates that banks used is essentially made up out of thin air, most interest rates are based on LIBOR (which has been known to be manipulated, see scandal) and this is the rate that banks charge one another on private markets to borrow from each other.   Also if you notice another thing is that the fundamental premise of banking is simple right?

Bank takes deposits and then they loan the money based on those deposits; but in reality they will loan far beyond what they get from those deposits and they get that money from the federal reserve and borrow it from other banks.

Bitcoin is created as a platform for new payment method rather than an asset to invest with. although Bitcoin can be stopped but I think it is better for the government to use Bitcoin for the progress of their respective countries rather than having to stop it because Bitcoin can change the fate of someone even a country.

Unless Bitcoin has a negative effect on the world, the government has the right to stop it, but I think Bitcoin has a positive impact that is greater than the negative impact, so I don't think Bitcoin needs to be stopped.

Well i don't think this central bankers can control BTC.All this crypto world is  anonymous and besides that we are a community with a lot of people who live with the help of Bitcoin, like..they pay their bills , they buy what they need with Bitcoin so i really don't think that the central bankers can control technology and even if they could, i don't think that they want to be the target of a revolution.Anyway i hope that in 2019 things will be better and Bitcoinc will be legalized in more countries.

It is one of the characteristics of the bitcoin why many people are still patronizing it. Bitcoin is decentralized so there are no central authority like central banks that can control bitcoin. It is the reason why the bitcoin is a threat to banks and many more financial institutions.

I think what the government is doing right now is because of the good development of cryptocurrency, inevitably the government starts making rules relating to cryptocurrency, so the rules are increasingly growing.
that's right because so far the development of bitcoin has been getting better in the eyes of several countries and governments, so until now bitcoin is still still allowed to grow again

And how do you want central bank stopping us to use Bitcoin? Who are they to give use us directives?

I don't think there is anyone or bank that can prohibit us from using bitcoin. because until now the existence of bitcoin will still grow again as before. so the possibility of btc enthusiasts will later increase again than before.

It's because central bank are know how much bitcoin can help the people and the country economic, but i didn't understand why they didn't allowing full adoption of bitcoin operation as legal currency, one thing i senn the reason is because bitcoin is threat currency to become banks are die.

I agree with this. Central banks were not the apple of the eye of the people now that Bitcoin is genuinely established nowadays, and I think this will be a main reason why untill now Bitcoin is very productive through thick and thin And people is very persistent in everything that they were doing here in this community as we can Bitcoin gained the trust of the people which we can say as the reason why up to now is continuously running.

No need to worry about printing money made by the government in their own country, because that includes their work to do money printing in their country. If their country runs out of money of course they will print new money.
There are no pitfalls against bitcoin, all of this depends on demand, because like they open the store they sell based on the number of people who make a purchase.
So what we hope for now is how the use of bitcoin can be used legally in all countries, and if taxed by the government will be better, so that all bitcoin usage is regular and tax compliance.

Maybe central banks still seeing some holes in regulating the cryptocurrency and adopting it fully. I think they are weighing the pors and cons of cryptocurrency in their and in society. Bitcoin is allowed to continue because even governments see some potential in here and benefits for the mankind.

I think the reason behind why the bitcoin is still allowed to continue its operation is
because they are legit business and many people that are still keep supporting them from very beginning.

indeed the development of bitcoin is still interested by many people, even though the current situation is indeed experiencing a huge decline. but indeed bitcoin has the right to get permission to circulate.

the reason Bitcoin is still allowed and continues its operation is because Bitcoin is increasingly popular in the world and many people use Bitcoin as a personal need or other need. so far Bitcoin already more increasing growing and that is what makes Bitcoin will keep to continue its journey in the future. as long as Bitcoin can still be accessed on the internet and many enthusiasts, then Bitcoin still has the right to can be used. maybe there are still many other causes that make Bitcoin still allowed and keep to continue.

The reason Bitcoin is "allowed" to continue is that any reasonable effort to destroy or stop it would cost the attacker(s) billions of dollars. In the end, I do not see how any entity would be willing to spend billions of dollars destroying or stopping BTC when the efforts would likely fail anyway. Some say the attacker could benefit by shorting the market. The markets are too illiquid at this time to possibly recoup the costs before most persistent bulls either get REKT, or give up, making the market even more illiquid.

Here I go again with my non stop "we believe what we choose to believe" thing. Find something that does not have an advantage and disadvantage and let me know if you found one. Bottom line is central bank knows the pros and cons of the technology and of course if the pros are higher why would they try to stop it and not use to their advantage instead? There is no stopping the internet and all they could do for now is to put as much "blockage" to getting it adopted by the masses.

It is difficult to answer for sure here. Perhaps the government has its own plans for cryptocurrency, perhaps they understand that it is necessary for people, and perhaps they simply do not know how to influence it. In any case, it is unlikely that we can do anything and can just wait for active actions on the part of the government in relation to bitcoin.

Bitcoin is developing because it is a really decent technology and most people in the world understand it. And most importantly, the followers of bitcoin investors are becoming more and more every day. I think that's what allows it to be afloat on a global scale, and even the government can't influence it.

Crypto development will surely enlighten us and give more opportunities ahead.  I believe some developers will think about it and tried to improve their service especially for market exchange.
To uplift and adopt the new environment, we should adopt a new system that could help us to be more productive that bitcoin  could help us.

I dont think bitcoin is a trap, people investing their money in bitcoin because investor believe in digital world need currency that fast for transaction and more secure. Central banks and government can not touch bitcoin because bitcoin is decentralized cryptocurrency and government should take advantages on bitcoin by collecting taxes from bitcoin trade

In bitcoin you an transact anywhere from the world with the security and convenience it can offer. Its like having a bank at the tip of our finger, its portable too with the use of mobile phones.

there are some countries that consider that bitcoin is a currency threat to become a useless bank but on the other hand bitcoin can help people and the economy of the country so I don't understand why they don't allow the full adoption of bitcoin operations as legal currency
I think that government can't allow the full adoption of bitcoin cause bitcoin don't have taxes, the government can't collect taxes if bitcoin continues running in there country. Right bitcoin is big help cause it reduce the poverty of one country it gives job with high income to the people, and I think people have to right to choice to use bank or in bitcoin.

we need to allow bitcoin to continue despite its low price today because of the amount of people it has helped and many people believe that it will increase its price so it should be encouraged.

I think bitcoin still continue in market because government can not stop it. With decentralized system, government can not touch bitcoin, the transaction data spread all around the world and there is no Bitcoin CEO. I think thats why government law can not apply to bitcoin

Why not ? Why the hell do you think that bitcoin should be discontinued ? It does not harm people , it isnt illegal ( few exeption maybe )  ,  most importantly it gives income and can improve the way you live .

Bitcoin on some stricker countries are now postponed temporarily but not discontinued forever  .   their governments might be fixing some laws in other to make btc fully legal  .

I dont think bitcoin is a trap, people investing their money in bitcoin because investor believe in digital world

And where did  you get this idea that bitcoin is a trap ?  Of course it isnt .  if its a trap then it shouldnt have existed for over 9 years   .   only haters will say bad stuffs to bitcoin because they dont understand the way it works  .  people invest in btc not because they believe in a digital world but because they want to earn a huge income.

Why not? I found happiness in Bitcoin and more than that, the time I entered the crypto currency community and make use Bitcoin as my crypto currency, it makes a lot of better changes in my life. So allowing Bitcoin to keep going and running as it is makes me glad to here and to be looking forward in the future.

The answer is simple because bitcoin is a decentralized currency meaning no one or no individual owns it, no single entity controls it. That's why despite all the regulations of countries and black proganda from bankers regarding bitcoin they can't shut it down because it's not a organization or a company but a group of individuals.

But some countries are not allowing their peoples to using bitcoin, not all countries allow it.
I think it is not about whether bitcoin allowed or not. Because allowed or not allowed, you still can using bitcoin without being allowed.
Bitcoin have decentralized database around the world, so we can using it although the government prohibit it.

many people have understood the function and usefulness of bitcoin very well. most people in the current era want something flexible. bitcoin and altcoin are an answer to the financial system. besides that bitcoin can be used easily, bitcoin is a system that is run by using the internet so that anyone can access easily. even though there are countries that forbid it, bitcoin can still be used, many ways and I'm sure all people who have internet access in the world can access bitcon too.

well, some people make strict rules with bitcoin, however, I think that is because the risk of bitcoin is quite large. however, there are still many people who use bitcoin, even those who ban it still use it. I don't think that's the kind of prohibition that makes people really unable to use it, but it's a notification that this is really risky.

why they stop the bitcoin if they are also earning and the bitcoin helps a lot to get extra income and there is no reason to prevent them from bitcoin. and can no longer restrict the bitcoin with its existence, while it takes a long time to expand and knows the cryptocurriency.
