many people say ico will die with several projects that fail and end a scam.
I think not all ICO is generalized as fraud, some projects have achieved hardcap. this is evidence that investors still believe the ICO will continue to live. only requires analysis to find real projects.

Partly because I am always interested in new technologies and never cease to be amazed at the ability of some developers to create innovative things and in another because I know that there is still much financial potential in the ICOs, although we are in a bear market if we survive this, the next periods will be extremely prosperous.

To be honestly, I still believe in ICOs but not in these days. Many projects are failing and end up scam, this is maybe happen because the market is being bearish. So many people do not want to take risks to market conditions like now.
Maybe you need to wait until market is recovered to reduce losses in investing with crypto currencies.

At present, there are many fraudulent ICOs that make people lose faith in the ICO channel. But in the market there are many potential ICOs of good projects. So if you choose ICo for the right investment, you have the opportunity to make big profits in a short period of time. Therefore, the research and selection of ICO investment is very important.

Remember if you have been investing in the ubex at early stage and you have been getting 6x from your investment. I don't believe invest in ico again because I suffered losses because I invested in IcO. and that makes me unable to trust ico anymore. and for almost a year I have never again invested in IcO.

ICO is still the most effective way to raise funds. Although there are many fraud projects in the market. But there are still some real projects. If the project is reliable and real. I will still invest.

Definitely yes, I still believe in ICO's and there are remaining good ICO's that are in the market right now and all you need to do is how to be able to get the right one that will surely reward the bounty hunters and provide good profit gain to the investors. I think yes for now but After several ICO events that were large but ended scam I wasn't really sure about the future of ICO, but as some people say above the ICO is still effective for project fundraising which allows the project to continue running. Opportunity at this time in my opinion this is the right time because the market is recovered and maybe when you invest in a project the price can go up from the ico price.

As a matter of fact, yes i still do. The project progress is what i am after. Some ICOs have already made me smile. Some are yet to but that's crypto for you.

I don't believe much in ICOs due to the fact that 85% of them turn out to be scam. But I do research on potential ICOs anyway just to see if it matches my criteria of passing the ability to survive in the long run. If it has a good hype, potential growth and a good team only then I think to invest in the ICO.
The last ICO I invested in was the Nauticus just because coinmarketcap promoted it and it had a good team and potential.

Yes i still believe in ICOs. Im here for the longtern and when im investing in ICOs im helping to grow something that will be huge in future. There are still a lot of good projects where you can invest your money.

I am not that positive about most ICO's. I now focus mostly on either: Exchanges, Securities and maybe the occassional platform.

I have put in way too much fiat into projects last year and have been buying dips when I had the chance....I know all depends on bull/bear trends, but I'd like to see a situation where rotten projects simply disappear and btc dominance also decreases much...but in this space, it will take a while and more money will go to worthless projects....

It does get to the point of ridiculous when there are dozens coming out every week with no real discernible value over the others.

I still believe in the cryptographic market, but I do not expect that the market will recover soon, but I'm investing in other altcoms ETH and BTC, I believe I will luckily hold a copper Potential and I will soon be rich.

It was only about 80% according to Satis research but yeah, 80 or 85%, it is a hell of a high number for scams. And when you're left with only 1 project for every 5 launched that isn't a scam, you still haven't guaranteed if they can survive. No, not anymore. I already lost hope and faith in investing in ICOs. I lost a lot of money in ICOs, self-drops or not. I guess, ICO investing is not really for me. I have no good eye to sense which is good to invest in. Well, not all ICOs that I invested in are scams, but before I'll be able to sell my bought token in the market, the price is dumped so hard and it never goes back to its original price anymore. There are some good ICOS I am sure, but most turned to scam and dumped their ETH, causing the crash in the price of Ethereum and most don't pay out, so yeah this year I am not able financially to invest in ICOS, even if I wanted to and I don't really have the inclination in a bear market to invest in tokens that if and when they reach an exchange will be less than half the price they were in ICO. It's o.k for those with a lot of money to throw away, but for losers like us who already are at the point of capitulation, investing in ICOS is now no longer an option for me.

investing in ico not be always good decision for us, even we buy cheap token when it listed in first market it didnt guarantee that someday we will generate profit from holding this coins.much of projects have difficulties when they want to recovered their token price.

There was a high rate of scam projects all through 2018,and it has contributed to loss of believe in icos really. More and more projects turned out to be one scam or the other, and so many lost their investments and funds put into the project.
And right now so many are scared to go down that part again lest the same fate befalls them.
Also failed projects has also contributed it's own share in convincing people not to trust icos, but definitely many will still invest in it, I do not think it's possible for them to go extinct, so yeah it will continue
