From last few months, the value of ETH is going down. It touched ATH $1300 but now the price of ETH is around $200. I am in big loss by holding ETH.

Why this too much dump? When we will be able to see ETH raise again?

I see the ETH price has decreased significantly, while the BTC price has risen again. these two coins usually BTC and ETH go up together. but remain optimistic if we will see again the ETH will rise again high to the moon. ETH is a coin that has good potential in the future and we must be sure the price of ETH will peak again.

We talk a lot  with our friends about Ethereum.It's going through a very moving period.However, we decided that the decline was likely to continue. ETH may change after January.Much attention should be paid to ETHEREUM investments.

So, where were you when so many bad news have been attacking crypto? So many icos that has dumped their ethereum to the market and that was bringing a lot of panic sell to the ethereum.
It may raise again but i doubt if that will be happening in a short term. It may takes more than 2 years to recover the price of ethereum. But i'm not even seeing that as a speculation that has a high accuracy.

lets wait for the next bull run that maybe happen this year, and lets see are eth price can hit back to 1300$ like last year did, if not, eth was done for sure.

maybe some project ico like eos are dumping the ethers that they got from ico.  also, some projects are switching to a more stable and powerful and more scalable blockchains because ethereum blockchain have some of the above issues.

No body know what happen with eth and why eth price is going down, maybe we have other way for getting new coin with higher price, or have we are moving eth balance to bitcoin because eth is not good price now.

I think because there are many project ICO that  work at ethereum network are scam so there make investor does not believe again at ethereum and then sell their coins. And then now there some project build at EOS network (some people said that this is the ethereum killer). many people do not know when ethereum will rise again like the previous year, but in my opinion it looks from the graph that eth prices will rise again, because I learned from the value movement and many big investors now have started to buy or have their coins back.

In my opinion, eth is just affected by the crypto market so that is why its dropped but it will surely recover soon when the red days of the market stops and I believe that it will happen by the end of the year just like last year so I would like to suggest that buying eth today is a great opportunity for future.

Why do you always panic when there is a bear market? This is all temporary. Be patient and wait for the bull market and then you will get your profit.

All crypto coins, especially Bitcoin, lost value. This is not the first time. If you investigate the bear and bull seasons, you see what happens. We hope, it will start recovering soon.

the decline in eth has exceeded very dramatically, we haven't even been able to see eth prices rising to above $ 500 at the moment. there are so many things that might have to be corrected to see eth prices to a high position. but the prediction of when the high eth return price even reached above $ 1000 cannot be predicted well and it is still a speculation.

It has happened because ICOs began to sell ETH funds and the whole market had pessimistic mood. We can just wait when good news will appear and new investors will come to the market.

I changed almost all of the altcoins I won with airdrops and bounties for some ETH but this just before the price of ETH fall down :(

As far as trading goes what comes down will always go back up but in this case, it may take a while before ETH sees it peak again.

I think the panic sellers who dump the market, well this is bad year for cryptocurrencies not just ETH is down, but also in the market, Are you willing to hold your ETH in the next year? maybe it will increase the prices of all cryptocurrencies.

We can't actually put all the blame to dumpers as it is just a small percentage and it won't make huge effect in the prices. I may think that this is due to market regulations imposed by SEC and the governments which could create some delays in development. And also the participation of some big whales who are trying to manipulate our market prices.

ETH very down drastic, if we compare it with the end of 2017, many ICOs fail so that ETH requests are reduced, considering ETH as a smart contract platform where temporary tokens are stored, ETH also competes from coin purses that can store tokens from ICO.

I can only say that soon, ethereum will rise again, but unfortunately, no one will know when the time's will comes. I think you can grow your ethereum amount by doing trading ethereum pair altcoin or usdt and I think there is a chance for you to get more ethereum. You are not the only one who suffered lose by the dipping of ether but still have hope on it as we don't know what will be the future of ethereum. There are speculations that bull run is coming to eth this year end as it always happens, let wait and see.

Everything is ok with Ethereum. It is still one of the most interesting developing project but the price for it is big even at today's level. It will have the marketcap that bigger than Netflix's one only when it will have such a big amount of customers.

Couple of things happened that caused the price of ethereum to drop. First of all we had a frenzy of ICO buys, at those days ICO's were greatly loved and everyone was buying ethereum like crazy and putting those into some new ICO which was only unlocked after it reached a certain limit.

Hence, during those times ETH was overvalued a lot and the price skyrocketed because of the lack of supply versus the high demand for the ethereum so people could send it to ICO's and make tens of times higher than what they invested.

Obviously, that didn't take too long and everything fell apart and people are not putting up that much ETH into anything anymore. That caused the ICO owners to start selling their ETH and dropping the price whereas there are no more buyers and that caused a snowball affect and everyone started to sell their coins which resulted with undervalued ETH this time around.

Ethereum is not falling down, it is stable now at 200 USD stage.
We will see the best or might be better price of ETH in the near future.

Not only ETH, but almost the whole market is also having a dip moment. So, there is nothing special with ETH. Moreover, ETH usages have been decreased quite a lot and that's why the price is having red. I think it will be okay after having a new stable market.

The dump is happening because the whole market is still falling down. Moreover, there was a time, when ICOs started to fix their profit in fiat, and as we know, a lot of ICOs are using ETH as the main payment method. It will bounce back when the market turns green.

Nothing happened to ETH also not in the whole cryptocurrency market. The total market has cashed out a lot of money and that's why the M.Cap is lower than previous. So, how the price will increase. If some big whale comes to market with huge investment, only then the market will be back to its previous situation.

Ethereum had its glory although it was not a well made code. There were a couple of hacks which should have been a good signal for alarm, but Ethereum kept rising.

Now something strange has happened: the whole crypto market was shrinking and Ethereum had the high fees, then the drama about PoS, problems with the development, FUD (I think) about Vitalik leaving and so on. While this can be overseen on a growing market, it can be a real problem on a shrinking market. Also there are plenty of competitors for Ethereum nowadays.

I don't know if or when Ethereum will get back. It could, but you can never be sure. That's why it's advised to invest only what you can afford to lose and to diversify, just in case...

in my opinion, ethereum will rise again when bitcoin prices rise, because all price movements depend on BTC, but when the price goes up I don't know and I believe that at the end of this year the value will continue to rise, because the movement of values or charts is very good.

same here bro! but i do hope that eth will recovered from disaster. i am jumping with another token that has hyping trend so that i can cycle my investment in a good balance. maybe it takes time to eth for the rising stage.

just as experienced by other coin crypto, almost all of them experienced a very drastic price decline and even today they have not experienced price recovery, and now it is difficult to make the best decision to do, because the market conditions are very uncertain, no one know when exactly the market will experience a recovery, but if you look at some of the articles I read, the child predicts that the market will recover by the end of this year, but that is only a prediction that is not necessarily going to happen, but hopefully it will happen.

And how you investigate and study the project, chances that the value can fall more or rise high will be depend on how things will work inside the market, we see previous things like this before, not only for ETH and BTC but also with other well known project its all about how we will deal on it and how we will take the risk, invest with your full knowledge and take chances each time you see opportunities.

Of course I don't know what happened to Ethereum right now, but don't panic, everything will be fine, just a matter of time, and I don't know when Eth will return to normal, and certainly Eth is a good future.

The price of ETH seems to be difficult to recover again, because I think the main purpose of ETH is to buy ICO, but now the ICO market is very bad, because fraudulent projects let investors start panic and leave the market!

It will rise wildly when it becomes the king of ICO. When it succeeds, it will be sold off, and the ICO team collectively sold the Ethereum to cause the price to drop.

I think the ETH electronic currency will recover and grow in line with its technological, market, and popularity capabilities. At present, ETH is giving the ETH community the opportunity to buy ETH at low prices and wait for ETH to raise prices to make a big profit.

In my own opinion may things lead to ethereum drop in price, first is that ICO investing have reduced significantly and there is no much demand for eth in the market unlike when ICO investing was booming and second is that there is a massive sell off of eth by most of the ICO company to raise money for their project building and when supply is higher than demand, the price goes downwards.

Usualy ETH follows the Bitcoin price. But it is not a time to panic; we all must remain patient and calm. Nobody knows when it will pick up the pace. It will recover its price in the bull run.

IT is difficult to see eth raise again. There are new developers that create projects resembles to eth but better in many forms and issues. They will be competitors to eth in the futures. The supply of eth in market is also too many because eth is unlimited coins.

I think that next year the price of the etririum will increase a little, but will not repeat the past growth rate. This is a consequence of the distrust of investors, many of whom have lost money, succumbing to cryptocurrency rush.

Why do many people consider Ether to be a stable currency on a par with Bitcoin? My opinion is that they are very mistaken.

Don't sure when will that happen to have ETH rising high again, and about the dropping in it's price is because of the news that keep on spreading saying some bad things will happen to ETH, making many of the ETH holder to loose their mind and then sell their ETH at the current price.

I have invested in ETH also and really upset with its down in recent months.  I think lot of scammed coins or failed campaigns are reason for this fall in ETH as these failed or scammed projects supported by ETH blockchain platform.

Some people  claim that the ETH may increase significantly in the future, even showing its market capitalization can beat Bitcoin firmly and will lead the market. , warned that ETH prices could be reversed by the shadows and the larger cryptocurrency, attracting strong cash flow from outside.

Ethereum was too high in price last year since the bull run started that it makes the prices of it triple times than normal but now since the bull run was gone and the bearish market is started it started to go down again and worse of all it goes down four times than its normal price. If ever someone bought or hold some ETH on them, i suggest that hold on to that until the bull run shows up again, we may have a bull run this year or next year. That's why i suggest to hodl it first to avoid losses.

It might take a really long time before ether could go back to that price again. This is because the ATH of ether was due to the fact that bitcoin was at it's peak at that time.
This made not only ether but all the altcoins to rise in price. Ether being second best coin was at a very high price and since the price dropped the price of ether went down too much.
If it hadn't been for the spike of bitcoin's price, ether wouldn't have gone so high. We have lost the chance to sell at such a good price.

I think the prize drop was very sharp and rise of the ETH can be sharp as the drop. When you see bitcoin moves higher prizes check ETH prize ETH/BTC is also rising. I also lost a lot on ETH and waiting my fund back :)

I only can say supply more higher than demand, because of what many things happen and I can't explain one by one. This is risk and reality we should deal and find the best solution not complaint. I'm not loss but my asset stuck in Eth and I can't do nothing. All activity become nightmare because have no fund to start, we have the same problem. Ethereum will increase agaim but it will be hard for it to reach the $1000 price this year. A lot of big whales have given up on Ehtereum and it is causing panic. Some hodlers sold their coin around $800 and the downfall startrd until it reached its current price now. The price is very hard to predict, but it will be unrealistic to assume that Ethereum will go back to the high price we were used to, $1000 range.

You have only even suffered a loss if you ended up selling at loss. ETH pretty much hit the bottom just like any other market, sure, we cannot depict the fact that is actually got hit the most when comparing most of the top coins, which was not expected actually, but in the lighter and positive perspective, I just see this as a chance to actually be buying this market at this stage which is something I believe any smart investor should be doing than panicking. When a market is at the dip, which is the time to be buying and then when people start getting greedy, then you really want to be selling.

So many things leads to the down fall of eth price but one of them is that the demand for eth got less in the market and there was a huge supply of eth, since the bear market started, people stop investing in ICO and ICO team that have raised huge eth were selling off to raise money and it got to a point where sellers are lowering their price to sell off which makes the price to go down

Maybe the investor not interested anymore on investing eth in ICOs.
But i think it will no longer and the price will rise again.

I agree that ICO's using ETH platform are beginning to dump their stock that is why ETH in the crypto market are abundant that cause for ETH value is descending.

$1000 is now difficult to get, because we know many large investors reduce investment volume in ethereum. but maybe in the future we can see if ethereum will return to a high position. for now we have to hold a lot to keep ethereum in order not to sell at low prices.

But do not get too attached to it. If there is a chance of selling it at a good number then why not then invest in a new one.
It is now just being used as a means to create ICO's. ERC20 tokens are the ones who in bloom by now. Maybe you could get your ROI back with buying those tokens with good features.

Ethereum fell in price together with other cryptocurrency. There is nothing special in it and from the same is subject to strong falling.

You're right. The whole market falls therefore fell and Ethereum. There is nothing surprising. The main thing is that Ethereum has great prospects and it will definitely grow in value.

I was waiting to the rise of Ethereum after the fork but this fork is postponed now (it is expected in 2019). Thus, I guess that we should stay very patient. The growth of ETH will happen only the next year.

I haven't found yet the real reason, Ethereum price collapse was totally unexpected! But I heard millions of Ethereum was withdrawn from the exchanges and some big whales sold almost 155K (Not exact amount) Ethereum! Maybe these incidents are the main reason for the Ethereum Price down! Therefore Co-Founder of Ethereum gave a negative statement about the crypto market, that can be a reason also!

I dont know exactly when Ethereum 2.0 (https://redenom.com/info/news/ethereum-2-0/) is launching. But I hope it will make the ETH price rise up again or better than now.

Perhaps many people who had ETH starting to sell them, cause there are news saying that when ever vitalik leave ETH, then there will be no future of ETH, or something like that. But i think ETH will be able to recover.

ETH 2.0 will take its own time.Many devs have already moved from etc to eth and are working on it.ETH is really a long term hold as it always have been.People will have to wait till the major updates and its scalability becomes high.

The dropping condition of ETH isn't look really good in the last few month.
Right now the price is i think that soo bad, So it would be pointless if we don't makes any decision. but always to remember that the price of ETH is dropping at the moment.

in my opinion not only ETH, but crypto market are down for now and in my opinion the market price will increase again even though it takes a long time to make the market increase like the price in 2017 and you only need to hold your ETH, because if you sell it then you don't believe that ETH prices will increase and it will definitely make you regret in the future, because ETH prices increase very high.

Not only ETH, the whole cryptocurrencies value are going down. As a result many ico are cancelling, dumping and scam. I believe and many crypto expert are saying ETH may increase significantly in near future.

Well, Ethereum is really great network which help all to start their smart contracts and started their ICOs, and this collected a big amount of ETH so price pump, and when these ICOs start to exchange their collected funds ,price dump.
I think in the coming  Ethereum upgrade they will enable many features one of them is POS which will help price to get up slightly.

To some persons a lesson is enough for them to learn. most Ico's have thought investors some good lesson that they are longer any interested to investing any more.i think is part of the reason to drop of Eth.

It is true that ethereum.had gone down to 200usd at this moment from.1400 from early this year since then the market is still declining and the eth never recover still.  I think because of the deflation. It is not only the eth that has gone down, bitcoin too and almost all.of cryptocurrency.

The Ethereum in the last year have greatly increased, although it is more correct to say it is very much drugged and now he's plummeted. It was a normal reaction, though I didn't think it would drop to $ 200 or even lower. Its price should now be about 300 dollars and so I would not be surprised that if the market starts to grow, Ethereum will very quickly jump from 200 to 300 dollars.

The thing that motivates the price of Ethereum are the ICOs, these scheme is getting lesser support from crypto investors ever since the dump in the crypto market at the beginning of 2018. Because of this, blockchain based companies are withdrawing from the Ethereum blockchain and the price is getting weaker and slowly crashing.

I understand you, I have lost because of strong falling of the price much too. But I don't think that we should worry strongly. Today the price has well grown and I think what will is just grow it even more necessary to wait.

Bad news, downward trend, panic seller, whales' traps,.....there are so many reasons for ETH low price at the moment but I think you should keep holding cause if you wanna get out at the moment, it'll be the worst idea cause you'll never be able to cover your loss. Try to hold and wait.

Really ETH too much down even ICO market also not good like last year. I don't think ETH even cross touch the 1k$ mark this year. Maybe 500$ possible if really bull run start how all the people thinking but no sign of bull run yet.  :(

Everyone thinks that Ethereum will grow in value. There is no secret in this, but no one can tell when this will happen. I am willing to pay money for such information.

Too much dumping I guess these comes from those fraud ICO that generate a huge amount of Eth from their ICO days, of course, the buying support is still there but to many people dumping eth it cannot keep up anymore I guess we need to extend our patient.

We can't think that Ethereum can easily recover from such crash. We can't help this alone but we can move it if we all go together and never dump our coins which could greatly give a negative outcomes. It is really hard for the others to understand of what is going on, we may give them time and realize.

I hope that very soon, I think it is bad for us all, I try to set myself up for the best. We all understand what can happen in a few days. We can see growth but unfortunately fall. But I think the end of the year should at least somehow improve the efficiency of ETH. We will wait for the end of December and everything will be clear, in December there should be a lot of news and it will depend on how good they are!

The rise in ETH is likely to happen by the end of the year, my belief is that ETH will rise to a low of $ 600 in December, and you should hold ETH instead of panic because if panic sells at the instant time, you will absolutely make a huge loss.

Well honestly all crypto is down , but unfortunately whoever stayed in Bitcoin was lucky because btc was not that much in loss like Etherium and other cryptocurrencies . Just hodl and be patient and you will see soon results of institutions coming in and buying everything .

I don't know what is happening in ETH. Maybe, it may go more down and devaluated. But whatever  it will happen, I still believe in this coin because this is the king of altcoin and smart contracts. Just wait for the news and we will be suprised when the price fluctuates high.

I heared that Ethereum creators will release the mobile app Metamask which provide posibility to send/receive tokens and Eth safety. Maybe this will start the price growing. Also, when Bitcoin begin growing - Ethereum also will grow.

Ether decreasing in value I think has to do with lot of people channeling their funds into traditional exchange platforms at the expense of cryptocurrency exchange platform. I think this is why we see a bearish cryptocurrency market for quite some time now. In an instance where enough funds get to circulate in the cryptocurrency exchange platform, I am sure ethereum will pick up its value again.

If we are going to look at the price chart today. We can all see that the ethereum is really jumping from low into high price. I think it will really drop on the next couple of days and we need to wait for this drop and buy more and hold until time comes that the price is good for selling. I think that a bunch of fraudulent ICOs killed ETH. Fraudsters sell ETH at a low price and lowered prices to the bottom.

Need to look at the situation. If it is an ICO that has just entered the market and has not yet released its product, then it is normal that the trading volume is small.

It is also one of the problem and more over it causes the legit projects to struggle without enough funds to survive but it all happens due to the wrong investments from newbie investors,but now it looks the conditions changing people getting interested on cryptos than new projects.
