a while back i created the ETH, road down to $50? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4890927.0), i had to close it due to being spammed to oblivion. but many in that topic disagreed with price even going down to $200!

now we are closer to $100 and the dump continues.

when do you think $50 is going to happen?

the decline in ethereum prices cannot be predicted when the price reaches $ 50, but it might happen and it is a sad thing. if you still trust ethereum I see you have to buy ethereum and hold it until the position returns high.

All possibilities are very possible now. I believe the current price is still not over because the possibility is still going to go down. hopefully later the price can slowly rise again. this really makes a lot of people drop

for ETH i am mostly concerned about the fork that it has. it is a hard fork to basically kill mining and the miners have never looked good upon these actions and they may act out. we will either see them dump a very large amount of Ether on the market can crash the market or we also end up seeing two chains coexist with the PoS chain having trouble and that would make a total of 3 ethereum chains because of 2 forks!

Ethereum is 100% pegged to the bitcoin. A lot of ethereum holders are moving toward another platform. I still have some ether and i have sold em all. Just waiting for that rate and i can buy more than 5k ether with my money. This is very interesting to be watched. RIpple seems more consistent compared with ethereum.

You’re right, $50 dollars is not impossible for eth to experience.I can think this December it will be highly likely to happen to eth but not just eth I think, almost all crypto will be affected as long as bitcoin will be affected also.In my guess this bear season is really crucial for crypto since I can feel the volume of people withdrawing from cypto to fiat especially Christmas and new year season is approaching and they don’t want their assets to continue dropping.

I got information about the mining price of Ethereum from an article, the price is about 70-90 US dollars, so the current Ethereum is still likely to decline! It has not reached its lowest point!

with introduction of ASICs to mine ETH i believe the cost of mining has dropped drastically. because ASIC machines are efficient and can give the miner a lot of profit. so currently the cost of mining should be a lot lower than this considering the dump is happening so fast.

Those that I pity most now are the ICO developers that failed to hedge themselves and hold on to Ether. I think some of them it is because of greed, they are stupid to think the price will continue to grow without any correction and this stupid mistake is likely going to bring the project down because no money to support the project long term expect something drastic happen to the price of Ether and reverse this trend

Let's hope that it will no longer reach that market value because if it would, surely, that is a huge problem. Its market value will have a hard time to be back on its feet given that if ever there will be an uptrend, it will not be totally continuous. Ethereum is really a good crypto to invest but it is just that majority of cryptos are having a hard time right now and it needs huge amount of patience in order to not make unnecessary decisions.

It the market continues to decline. There is a high posibility that ethereum will hit $50 on the coming months. But there is also a high possibility that all crypto will recover soon.

Maybe possible reach 50$ dumped or possible to increase and rebounds again a litle bit their value before end of the year.

Well it's hard to see the market like this because many of us have a funds that lose but I'm still believe that ethereum will not down to $50 because no one wants to crash the market or any coin.

More pessemistic scenarios I read more bullish I am! I do not decline that we can go to about $100, but I very doubtful that we will see ETH at 50$. Especially when Serenity plan to be released soon.

The future of every crypto is hard to predict now specially Ethereum that not even the famous experts could continue to predict as their reputations are already affected due to ongoing bearish market therefore there is nothing we can do for now but to wait and see with hope that the price will not fall further.

ETH has been falling hard, but so has the rest of the market. I suspect that BTC will hit a solid support level before ETH drops to $50, and that BTC support will stop the decline of ETH too. It is in a bear market that the relative strength of BTC becomes most important.

I hope the value of the ethereum will increase again the price. Because even the price decrease more the value it will up again what ever happen. Because that coin is the most potential coin in cryptocurrency and if the price decrease to 50 dollar it will up again after that.

Regarding the question,im afraid were going to drop at $50 mark because ethereum has been used by many ico and many investors still trust this one,regarding to the price making huge deep,i guess this is normal because even bitcoin get closed to drop below $4000

At the moment I think there have lot of possibilities to increase price of Etherium. Cause Etherium already down very much. Now time to recover value and Etherium never gonna down at $50.

This is FUD and I think this are the things that make people panic sell. if it reaches 50 USD then we are dead since most people with fate in the second most like cryptocurrency will get fedup.

Good morning. By the looks of it its not impossible that it may reach $50 before the end of the year. Disappointing as it may seem its just the way crypto works. After the whales have sold at ath, they will buy at the dip and it was fun for them. But sad to those who bought at a high price and haven't profited yet. Well I'm ready to expect the worst.

If eth goes to ten bucks I will load up nicely, maybe buy 30 Eth and sit on it for the moon ride up. I do see it going to around 100 bucks or less in this cycle. I hope we are near the bottom, to be honest, but if Bitcoin falls well below 4k USD, I see Eth going to under 100 bucks easily. I don't think we will be out of this bear run this year at all. I see a very black Xmas and New year, then also the Chinese New year coming also, most peeps will exit and take their funds out for other safe havens like gold and real estate. Its possible for ETH to go on $50 level again but for sure it will not last longer on that level since many ETH supporters will buy more. I heard about the hardfork of ETH next year, so I expect that the price will pump later this year and it will drop after the hardfork, trade at your own risk.

ETH road down to $50 I think is possible if we got another bad news a.k.a FUD again. But, honestly I don't want ETH falling too much over $100 because it will be affected many projects using ETH platform.

Wow! Second quarter of the year there are a lot od speculation that ethereum will go down to 100 USD, I didn’t believe it until today. Now another thread says ETH to $80 and this to $50? With all that happens ethereum is really vulnerable to that.

It seems that the bearish drama will continue for the whole year of 2018. Since the price has not performing well and this has a possibility that it will fall down to $100 again. Well it can be a good staring price that can attract new buyers to create a good rally. Let's wait few more days as where we going into this dip.

It could really affect the mining industry if there is no transactions happen especially for Ethereum miners.  Such huge fees will makes investors not to do buying or selling cause it is a big adjustment with their investment and it only consider a loss rather than to make it profit.

E enter this market, we should be aware of how high risks are. Ether has an established foundation in crypto already and the price doesn't reflect it's worth.

This is now a huge correction after ETH hit the all time high and the possibility to fall to $50 is much positive as no any good news that will reverse the trend. I'm a bit surprise with the flow of market prices as we will lose our money if we have no knowledge in crypto.

I did not think it would happen in December but it has. Ether below $100 and in fact almost became $90. Now recovered to $100++ but I do not think this can last for very long.
