Just like to ask everyone out there. What are your top 5 Concerns regarding more less Cryptocurrency? not just Bitcoin in General. But more in the whole area of Cryptocurrency?

This could from regulation? Adoption? uses?

What would be your main concerns and thoughts about cryptocurrency?

The possibility of being hacked of course I do not know how hackers are doing it but I have read some news that they actually are doing  ???

All cryptocurrencies are unique, and I can group them into, bitcoin, altcoins and ICOs. These three groups face different problems, ranging, from adoption limitation, acceptance, fund raising, competition.

-Bitcoin is the top digital asset, but I feel it is limited by the obvious loop sided distribution, where very few hands hold a very large percentage of the entire supply. And the larger percentage becomes the minority.
This derails the decentralization of bitcoin.
I also fear a hijack of the currency by the inner core team or the government.

-Altcoins have the general problem of having to follow bitcoins pattern, this is good for both altcoins and ICOs in a bull market but not so during a bearish season. There's also stiff competition with developers coming up with same use cases and better ways to improve it.

-ICOs have lots of problems, limited funds, no publicity, regulations. And scam ICOs which have become prevalent.

there is no need for anyone to worry about cryptocurrency and bitcoin, after this there is still a lot of hope towards a better future, indeed this is the saddest bitcoin history of the year before, but all must have passed

I think in the future cryptocurrency will be used from all fields in the real world

People are profit oriented, and the number one issue faced by most is market volatility and drop in price. And when the market falls tbis leads to panic among holders. And also holders of alternative currencies.

Possible centralization is also a potential problem.
With all the FUD flying around there's no reason highlighting problems of bitcoin.
We should be thinking positive.

My biggest concern is that Bitcoin has encountered 5 bottlenecks：
1. Most people in the world are still skeptical about Bitcoin. They don’t think Bitcoin is a safe and reliable payment medium.
2. The basic technology of Bitcoin still has no breakthrough progress, the transaction speed is slow, and the high fee is still widespread.
3. Some merchants who are willing to accept bitcoin payments can only accept this way limited because of the instability of Bitcoin.
4. The law is very imperfect, there are many scams in crypto's business practices that exploit the loopholes in the law.
5. In addition to its limited use in the payment field, Bitcoin is difficult to penetrate into deeper commercial activities.

I think that btc is unpredictable and you'll never know what will happen next. In most cases especially for the people who happen to be investing with btc for years or the early investors probably  had been able to understand how btc works as compared to the new investors where they are easily affected with the big down trend of btc. People tend to panic selling which had contributed to the fast decline due to additional more supply of btc than to it's demand. My concern is the stability of btc in which the range in the decline is so abrupt where I find it difficult to recover immediately and will take a longer time to be back to it's normal state.

Everybody is just expecting a huge price for Bitcoin because they really want to get a lot of money from it and doesn't expect any other rather than gaining a lot of profit from it.

My top concern of bitcoin is the price value, then the global adoption level,
Who controls the prices,
Government interference, and then what the future holds

I can't answer this, so much cryptocurrency keeps coming and maybe you have your own answer to that ICO ICO and ICO some are fraudulent and some benefit greatly

So far I am still thinking about the legality of cryptocurrency in my country, maybe now cryptocurence is still free here but of course I still feel worried if cryptocurence is considered illegal here, because cryptocurence has changed my life and my livelihood

Most people use bitcoin as an investment, even some people don't understand the technology behind bitcoin. The main problem with bitcoin is scalability, this also happens to BCH networks and the solution is hardfork. Another problem is the regulation that varies from country to country. I think that is the main problem, while other problems can be overcome by strengthening communities and building extensive networks.

There are many fears with Bitcoin, but no one is hacking anything that will end this revolution, just want money. What is legalized little by little is not bad, in fact the kyc that we do in the campaigns is noticed. That makes a campaign more serious.

Really good question. There are indeed some concerns about cryptocurrencies, but it's very different which cryptocurrency you refer to.

One of the most problematic issues is the distribution of the total supply. It's neccessary for a good cryptocurrency to be held of as many people as possible. We all know the current problems of the fiat system; a few people hold big amounts of money (and power). A good cryptocurrencies should avoid this and be held of many participants.

It would be very beneficial to have a widespread distrubution of the total supply. And this is also an argument for Bitcoin compared to competitors which are claiming to be better than Bitcoin, like the centralized XRP product from Ripple labs.
But I'm very positive that Bitcoin and some other valuable cryptocurrencies can solve this problem and the implemention of Bitcoin has the opportunity to improve it.

Why is it always “concerns” about bitcoin? Why not, what do you love best about bitcoin?

For me, the things that most concern me are; First of all the stability, I consider that if we never reach a normal currency stability we will never achieve mass adoption, which is another very important thing when it comes to knowing bitcoin and cryptos in general, the more people use it the more beneficial is the system.

Ma main concern would be the technology failing. Bugs, viruses, not enough security, 51% attacks, ddos attacks, spammed network. As long as the technology is doing fine I have no concerns. I don't care about the price too much. Adoption will happen eventually if the coin remains reliable.

Regulations: they can be very harmful to Crypto adoption and welfare of its enthusiasts when making use of the virtual currencies. No one wants to be forbidden of using Crypto-Currency or to have to give a 'big piece of cake" to the regulators to be allowed to make use of Crypto-Currency because governments greedy.

Volatility: it's part of the game and not a problem at all, but it's a concern anyway. Investors worry about losing their money value after a hard drop in price, taking too long to recover themselves from the depreciation. It makes the investments slow down and adoption to take more time to happen.

Lack of services: there aren't many different kinds of services accepting BTC yet. It's stagnant for now, generating bad speculations about how useful Bitcoin really is as currency. Sometimes enthusiasts may think how long it will still take to have more businesses adopting Bitcoin, promoting it as currency and not purely as speculative investment.

Security: as there aren't guarantees when investing in Crypto-Currency laymen stay away from it. There are security mechanism that can be used to protect our virtual currencies, but not everyone knows how to deal with them. Besides this option, they have to trust third party services to store their money, what isn't safe anyway. So, the government has an advantage point on this matter, as they give security guarantees that are null in Crypto world.

Fake News: this is a concern everywhere. These news are like gossips, they destroy reputations without even being truth and it can take a long time to rebuild what they destroyed. In a sensitive market like Crypto-Currency, fake news can cause a great damage, it's necessary to be alert about it all the time to not fall for them.

My buiggest concern is that I don't have enough, and I may not be able to build my holding before the next bull run.

I worry only about the limited use of btc which is not used as the payment method everywhere I would like it to be used. So I hope that this situation will change in the nearest future

Most of all,like many others, I'm probably afraid of grandiose deception.I really believed in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in General.Most annoying when you use your faith and leave you out in the cold with nothing.We have already lost a lot of time and money.I'm afraid they're just blocking our way to a bright new future.Losing the last and faith will be just a blow.That's what I fear most.

:) Couldn't agree more.  This is probably the last chance we have to make huge returns with cryptocurrency.  Once mainstream adoption comes the volatility will drop off massively.  Anyone waiting for cheaper prices from this point is just being greedy and will be left behind when the next boat leaves.

Agree. So I think adding to this there should be like a sub forum in the bitcoin discussion for FOMO and FUD so that they can really define each other very well. How awesome it could be. Exciting to imagine.

My main concern it's not about Bitcoin, but about many ICOs which turned out to be scams or very poor projects... I hope the situation changes for the better in the future.

I think, a small concern in the crypto world is volatility, decentralization, and security, those 3 points have different values than other currencies.

In terms of hacking all things in online can be hacked by someone especially your online wallet. But, if you careful person and you know what you are doing you can really avoid the hackers like storing you cryptocurrency in a safe place or putting it in a hardware wallet like Ledger. Most of us want to keep our cryptocurrency in a safe place so if you want to keep it do not share any information about your wallet and do not always click unknown link.

if reading about crypto concerns maybe low prices are a major concern for every owner. This is one of the things that might be classic concerns, but believe this to be one of the causes of fear of many people

My five questions are: 1. How to make money using Bitcoin? 2. How to save your bitcoins from hackers? 3. What can I buy for bitcoins? 4. How is it profitable to withdraw bitcoins to fiat? 5. Is it worth getting rid of bitcoins when the course goes down?

The only concerns about Bitcoin is the bear market and if the exchange where I trade are going to be hacked. I much rely on the exchange to be safer as I do trade most of the time but if its going to be hacked then its not just me who loses money but maybe the rest of the traders who are putting their coins into it. Wallet being hack isn't so much of my concern unless I connect to unsecure connection with an operating  system that I don't trust.

in my opinion, the crime is the main point that makes many other people worry. crime makes FOMO and scared.

How can a government accepts cryptocurrency if they cant regulate it? how is the future of that country then?

in fact this one is so large as to trump all the other by a large margin

lightning development is progressing very well and hopefully will be in use within the next 2-3 years on a large scale where you can buy all kinds of random things. use it on amazon, ebay etc. low cost true digital cash. the other thing is an easy use case. ideally banks would be able to function like exchanges. if you have $5000 in your checking a simple button click could convert xx dollars to btc and from there you could send it on chain or via lightning to the destination.  companies like western union have no place even existing if the world actually realized how bitcoin worked...however, values probably need to stabilize and that would mean an end to these 80+ % boom and bust cycles we keep having. maybe we can get some stability on the next run higher?

4. bad actors / scammers pushed from the space, hunted down etc
5. an established solution with gov regulators that will allow the industry to push aside worries about intervention

My concern is that there has not arising a coin that it's price is independent of bitcoin swings. Another concern is that people are easily tuned via media propaganda to have a change of decision towards bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. And lastly, when will bitcoin be free from intimidation?

I think the concern about cryptocurrency market is too many different coin and token with similiar project. Sometimes its good to create a competition but sometimes its confuising new investor. Beside that the concern about crypto market is on regulation, hopely there is a regulation that regulate ICOs because many scam ICOs around market

Many are worried about security, every new investor is afraid of regulations and hacking about accounts and ICO. This is a lot of doubts to be able to develop, but what must be done is to still have trust and positive thinking.

i think bitcoin is a weakness at the customer support and the sensitive with the phishing website, so the user need to care about the phishing website and i think you should checking twice before sending the bitcoin

Anormous Electricity usage is one of the biggest problem for mining bitcoin. The cost is different in every country but the usage is scary. My second concern is the scamming, i wish no one have to face the scamming because it is something not pleasant. I am also afraid for the bubble think, one day when i wake up i don't want to see the bitcoin fade. 

1.Enhanced security. If bitcoin wants to become an analogue of a conventional currency (a means of exchange and a measure of value), it is necessary to create a more convenient and secure infrastructure for the user.
2.Price stabilization. For bitcoin to become a viable currency, it is necessary to stabilize the price with the help of Protocol improvements. If bitcoin (or its fork) is to be used for everyday transactions, a stability mechanism is needed. People need to be sure that bought today for $2 coffee tomorrow will not cost $50.
3.Institutional investment. To reach new highs, cryptocurrency needs a lot of money.
4.Regulation of exchanges and exchange offices. If investors are confident that the trading platforms are regulated and asset protection is improved, the inflow of funds will be more active.
5.Cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds. Such funds will help to simplify trading through brokerage accounts and will help to increase the price and popularity of digital currencies.

I think that most people worry that btc is not stable but dollar is also not stable. I think that all currencies are volatile and we need to accept this. I think that btc is the best coin and we can easily use it for any needs

according to me about crypto this is amazing, crypto provides sophisticated technology where everything can be done quickly and easily, in just seconds it can be sent easily.and in my opinion today is anything that can happen.

That's an interesting question and thread have got some really good responses. My top concerns are as follows

1) What if governments want to kill bitcoin from the root? Like arresting the core developers and deleting all the open source repos?
2) What if people stop contributing to bitcoin?
3) Will lightening network ever have any commercial applications?

The most important concern is volatility, I think. Because people buy crypto in order to make a profit, but there is a risk that the coin may not meet expectations. Also of great concern is the loss of their funds. I try to apply different degrees of security to my assets, but there is still concern.

in my opinion, public adoption of crypto, today, we see the spread, investment and crypto trading volume getting better, many big companies, and world leaders who start to care about crypto.

so, we don't worry about adoption, because we will see positive improvements in the future.

I am worried about bitcoin because even though there are negative issues circulating in the media, the bad news is for me a market mafia game to reduce the price of bitcoin in the market, for example the issue of hacking bitcoin by thieves

Well for me some of the concerns I have with bitcoin is the how bitcoin system works, there are some man power behind it I think why it keep changing, also the condition of marketplace and the trading area those are the things that bothers me most, although we really can't control it neither we can predict what will happen next yet we still looking forward and somehow believe it will work accordingly.

Recently, I began to very much fear of fraud, too high a percentage of the bench, the scams are projects that have been working for a long time, and become completely new projects because of which not only the popularity of the crypto currency falls, but also leave the money world of the crypto currency forever, which reduces the overall capitalization leading to market movements to the bottom. The scams need to be combated in a very quick order, but how??? no one knows.

My concerns about bitcoin is how it would effectively contribute to the socioeconomic development of the world at large.
I have concerns about adoption.
Bitcoin needs to be adoption generally and become a medium of payment which would enable holders to purchase goods and services for bitcoin.

ICO suffered from lack of regulations.
imperfect regulations, there are many frauds in the crypto business that exploit loopholes in the law.
there is no technological progress behind Bitcoin. Low transaction capacity and rather high costs.

The design of bitcoin and the increase in difficulty make centralization of mining facilities inevitable. We are already seeing this happen, as difficulty goes up and price does not adequately correlate , fewer and fewer people can afford to run mining farms, as this trend continues the transaction processing power of the network becomes increasingly consolidated,  which increases the likelihood of a 51% attack and also eliminates one of the primary functions/features of btc, the decentralization of the system.

How much do you think bitcoin will be worth when there are less than 5 facilities left in the world with electrical rates low enough to run machines? I say 0.

1. If not because of bitcoin , i dont think blockchain will be discovered  . although you got a point blockchain is important because if no blockchain theres also no bitcoin

The weakness needed for a phishing attack to work is the greatest weakness in any security system - Humans.

The problem here is the people themselves precisely, not only customers but the employees of the companies and in that case is much much worse because they should have enough training to avoid mistakes like those which can cost a lot.

Mistakes happen yes but the risk and consequences of each kind of mistake should be looked upon carefully to avoid this kind of problems. Also exchanges shifting their focus more towards security can go a long way and help a lot. Sadly they can't make themselves invincible though, but the risk can be really low in comparison to right now.

Security is no longer the main concern in my opinion, because as long as I use bitcoin I have never been hacked or anything that make me lose, because previously there was a specific answer regarding this, use a safe wallet and add 2fa, that is enough.

  Bitcoin was introduced for the benefit of the people without a third party involvement for the transaction of currency all over the global as an internationally operated crypto currency .The risk in investing Bitcoin is a risky one since bitcoin is  highly volatile in price more people get interested in investing when the price increase and since no regulations in price it might drop and cause a loss to the people .

That's right, people become very much eager only if it becomes popular and a serious talk in public. I always see some news that some people get hacked by hackers and it stole all their funds and cryptocurrency. Even some exchange get hacked and I also do not how can do that things because all we know all exchange has strong security.

My biggest concern has happened last year, namely about the fall of the market and the decline in the level of investor confidence in cryptocurrency. and too much speculation and rumor made the crypto more feared.
Crypto should focus on mass adoption

Am not impatient with cryptocurrency in general and I honestly feel it can still develop but the current major concern I have with it right now is
*the high rate of scam
*price fluctuation

My main concern about the entire crypto space is what if we never get the Kevel of adoption needed to make it a global currency, and also what if the entire crypto get hacked some day and all our life investment get stolen. What if the government of all the countries in the world sees bitcoin as a threat and do everything possible to bring it down. This and many more are my worries.

Right now most concern people are into with bitcoin is the price. It is a long term bearish season till now and along with bitcoin price other cryptocurrencies are also down. other than this is transaction time, uses and its volatility, its vulnerability to hackers is also one concern but it all depends on the holders and not on bitcoin itself.

My biggest concern is the safety of coins in the online world. It is dangerous to hold private keys on the personal computer, one single mistake can destroy all my hard work and crypto. That's the reason I afforded 90$ to buy a new hardware wallet for the safety of funds.

My concern is having a large pile of bitcoins in the hands of a few. There are wallets hold several hundred of thousands of bitcoins, imagine what will happen if bitcoins becomes a million dollar asset, we will have a new class of persons richer than nations.We such power in the hands of few, we will be back to the system we were trying to avoid in the first case- the banks owning everything. The concern that we usually feel is that the country we live in does not recognize bitcoin as a currency and our potential concern is that bitcoin can be categorized as illegal goods, our fear is that our digital assets are blocked by the state and we can lose our money and worry feel it. does the same thing happen in a different place ??

..as of now, my main concern is the safeties of newbies and those who are just starting in crypto..I am afraid that they will be deceive and be scam by somebody..we all know and are aware that scammers spread everywhere,,i am afraid that they will become one of their victims..second to that,,i want Bitcoin to become legal to most of the countries that threated bitcoin as illegal..third is the adoptation of all people with regards to the use of Bitcoin.

I think there are too many concerns.  but five can be: Bitcoin wallet hacked, or fear of this. sudden price drop, manipulate the Bitcoin price Laws and rules, regulations on Turkey. And the Problems with time and mining. And also, ICO scams

Total adoptation of bitcoin concerns me the most. People are not yet ready to fully accept such cryptocurrency like bitcoin. Also, the reputation of btc for some people aren't that good. There are news about it but it is hard for some to really understand how it works.

Price is the obvious one, then regulation and adoption. I think price is the most reason why people use bitcoin and it's a big concern there. Many new people learn and use bitcoin nowdays because of price back then on 2017 but when the price dropped till now, some people give up on bitcoin and move on.

The first and foremost concern would be the volatile and fluctuating market. The price of bitcoin is constantly changing, so there is no telling if you’ll get the ROI. Cybertheft is also a significant concern that the cyber world is facing. As it is technology-based, it leaves it open to cyber attacks. Also, there is no way you can retrieve your stolen or lost bitcoins. The owners are more vulnerable to online fraud as well.

Moreover, not all companies are using cryptocurrencies and recognize it as a legitimate exchange. The cryptocurrency is still a young technology and is constantly changing. So, no one knows how the crypto market will evolve.

Everyone expects a big profit from Bitcoin and they want Bitcoin value to be more than one-dimensional.in fact they are always want how to makes profits more and more.maybe this the real reputation to use bitcoin.

It seems that everyone's concern is about the price and volatility. It shouldn't be your concern because bitcoin is moving to its own and instead of thinking of it as a concern, it's one of the best asset that bitcoin has.

Due to the volatility and having no stable value, this makes everyone feel not comfortable of investing their money on it. But if you are a risk taker and you sees opportunity on it, you're going to make good money with it.

One of my major concerns is about loss of coins that are sent to a wrong address. I think there should a solution to this that will make people recover their coins after doing one or two things and also about hacking there should be a lasting solution to it.

The main concern in crypto should be security. All others (adoptio  rate, regulations etc) are less important as if you lost all your funds it doesn't matter that much if they were regulated or not 😊

Investing in a hardware wallet is the best option to keep your crypto safe.

1. Wall Streets taking over bitcoin and turning it into some kind of monstrous assets, pushing it far away from the reach of retail users.
2. Movement of bitcoin from any of the wallets tagged as 'Satishi bitcoins'
3.Whales calling the shots on bitcoins
4. Discovery of some kind of super bug that could affect the bitcoint client critically
5.  Stiffer governments restrictions on a global scale, making its convention to fiats much more difficult

There are a lot of things to be concern in the existence of the cryptocurrency.  Everyone's number 1 concern is the price where in we can't predict it because its unstability. Price fall down and rise up without any warnings or notifications. Bitcoin is the leading coin in every exchanges that is why we should and it should be prioritized.

the hacking possibility, we know that bitcoin is secure, but we know too about the technologies that increase their capability day by day, and maybe in the future bitcoin can be hacked easily, like hacking the blockchain is a easy task.

The most concerning part of cryptocurrency at this time. Well, the instability of the market itself. I guess that the state of the market right now is really not great for trading right now especially day trading. I guess that this is just an obstacle for bitcoin to pass just like what it did many years ago.

I think offline saving money like a bank even has the opportunity to be stolen, the news is more much about theft of money in the bank and many modes of stealing in ATM or bank. I think the risk is even lower in cryptocurrency, you are independent man and you can maximize the security with your own efforts

The challenges I've noticed with Cryptocurrency as a whole are:
1. Inadequate security on wallets and exchanges: A friend of mine got his stellar wallet hacked and lost over 60,000XLM within.
2. Huge amount of energy consumed while mining some cryprocurrency, though some bug miners have adopted Solar energy an alternative but not all miners can afford it.
3. High volatility often experienced in the market

I just concern  about the number  of total crypto users. If  the community keep growing ,the future is good.

how can you say ? Community such as forum dont really have a big impact on the price but they may only help a little because most forum memebers are also crypto users  .  there is a huge number of population outside the forum and we can only attract them if we spread awareness thru offline campaigns or by using the media .

These kind of concern has been discussed many times but until know there is no known action pertaining on this issue . 

You got to keep your wallet's security top notch, once someone takes hold of it there is no going back unlike banks where you can ask for support.

The way it will be adapted by the mainstream. As in, will it be accepted and understood or will it forever remain more or less “underground”. Also, the security of Bitcoin itself. I still wonder about how easy or difficult it really would be to hack the accounts.

My concern are
1. The dominance of bitcoin over the remaining altcoins is worrisome.. Irregardless of some having better usecase
2. The rate of failed projects in the crypto space is becoming too much and a deterrent to investors
3. When are we finally going to meet satoshi? Lol
4. It's been 10 years plus and the crypto space has not attained maturity in its response to Fake news and pumps.
5. Quantum technology is by the corner and no one is talking of how to fortify the biggest crypto in the land "Bitcoin" from the imminent threat

There is no denying that Bitcoin has come a long way since its inception. Its meteoric rise and fall in prices have garnered lots of attentions from everyone, be it traders, investors, entrepreneurs, and even scammers.
The scammers leverage phishing, some pump and dump schemes, and aim them at inflating coin prices. Not only this, here are five concerns about Bitcoin that you need to know about:

In my opinion the top 5 concerns we should have about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general would be the following...

• #1.  The fact that the technology is in its infancy and is still very complicated to use.  The wallets are not user friendly for the average user, I personally know quite a few people that have lost a lot of bitcoin simply due to user error and not understanding how wallets work.
• #2.   Having no central authority also causes issues for new users that do not yet understand that if they lose their password and/or their pass phrase they lose their coins. They are so used to having a central authority when it comes to managing their online money. 
• #3.   How easy it is to scam people using this technology is a concern, even novice users are easily scammed simply because once the coins are sent they are gone for ever.  No way to get them back, and anyone in the world can accept crypto payments.  The same thing that makes it great is also what can cause concerns.
• #4.    How easy it is to clone and create forks or alt coins, it's a good thing but it's also a concern because the market becomes saturated with different useless coins that dilute our markets. 
• #5.    The biggest concern for me is government intervention and how much they want to get involved and all the rules and regulations they want to put in place on the system that is supposed to eliminate those exact governance issues/problems.

this is because they are not used to it,for the time being, people's concerns are about the very fluactive prices going down and rising so that it is difficult to predict, and this is a problem that can block in an effort to replace fiat with bitcoin as the world's major

I think there is no one valid point in your discussion because all what you said has positive side according to me, as you know volatility is good for us if crypto currency is volatile we can take advantage for using it as investment to buy at low price and then holding it for profit, fluctuation is really common if price shakes we can make more profit.

Hackers are like us who care about money so what's valuable attracts us. Everything is not absolute, so hackers look for vulnerabilities every day and steal them from other users.

Well it's truth, not caring about money in the current society can lead to disastrous consequences, you end up being vulnerable to the will of others. If those others are benevolent and want to help you, sure that is cool and great but what if they are the exact opposite and want to hurt you for saying the truth for example?. I have a lot of tales i will probably talk about when the right day comes.

Now what about benevolent people defending you from the others?. That is precisely what Bitcoin is passing through and it certainly can make a huge difference when it comes to the actual future. Why? Because it will have time to mature and the whole human kind will benefit from that, directly or indirectly - anywhere in the world.

That's true and I don't think that it is clever to use it as a currency for payment because of its volatility nature that the price fluctuates without any notice. Regulations on countries are some kind of minor issues because the majority of the countries are accepting Bitcoin and only a few countries are doing the opposite.

There is a constant battle between hackers and developers in the crypto world. And the tide is not always on the side of the developers, or the good guys. Sometimes, as data will corroborate, the hackers or the bad guys prove to be more efficient with their knowledge and skills and be able to steal millions and millions worth of crypto. This is one of the largest concerns. Not to mention that a lot of developers are also the same bad guys we dread of.

The ever-fluctuating price is also another concern. Imagine what we can buy with BTC in December of 2017 and how much it changed in a few months time.

Bitcoin usage increases each year according to statistics. It's usage or patronage is slow in growth because of the governments. People are willing to do whatever the governments put forward. Once Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies get authorized by the governments, the usage and patronage of cryptocurrencies will rise exponentially.

1) Instability
2) Misinformation
3) Not being supported by family and friends (BTC has a shady reputation, sadly)

I think the top concern of about bitcoin is legalization. All of us are asking amd hoping for the legalization of bitcoin because when it will happen the use of bitcoin will be bigger scope and more merchant we going to accept bitcoin. And the other one is security. All of us are afraid of losting are bitcoin so I hope there will be an wallet or application that really secured our bitcoin.

1. Is my data secure? With the numerous hacks that occur, data security is a major concern even though there is blockchain.
2. Cold wallets on the exchanges traded on have to be more streamlined.
3. What is with taxes on cryptos? Well conversion into fiat always comes under the purview of the legislation, but with changing times, comes changes in reforms
4. The misnomer of the dark web penetrating through the usage of cryptos? It had been happening through fiat any which ways. A real world for hardcore developers and digital enthusiasts should not be looked down upon
5. It should not be regulated as it runs on the blockchain and screws over with the whole concept of decentralization.

its already happening . bitcoin is already legal on almost 110+ countries based on the recent crypto statistics  . the said number is still growing  and sooner or later its expected that the whole world will now going to be involved in bitcoin , crypto and blockchain activities . the price was also expected to pump hard because of the massive demand that cryptos will be getting  .




thats true  . security is one of the main concern of crypto users but dont worry because there are now hardware wallets and cold storgae that is said to bring   solid securtity for your cryptos  .  other top online wallets do also have a solid security   .  most importantly , the users handling is the one that matter . if he is careless , theres no one to blame but himself and not the security of a  crypto  .

Possible hacker's attacks scare me. They can steal Bitcoins: we all know that it happened many times. Although crypto is the safest currency, it is not as secure as we all want to see it.

The most concerns of many of us in bitcoin and cryptocurrency is the anonymous nature of bitcoin and it possibility of getting short down by a powerful force, and also to get adoption from the general public. This and many more are the many worries of users in the cryptocurrency industry and the biggest of them all is hack we are all afraid that the network may get hack some days and all our bitcoin getting stollen.

My concern is the total adoption of cryptocurrency in our country. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency related thing has a bad reputation here in our area because of the scams using this crypto thing. Most of the people here doesn't really know that cryptocurrency can be beneficial. They thought that it will just cause our life a hell if we just mentioned about it.

My concern is about regulation. each country does not have regulations that protect crypto users. and all major countries doubt the use of crypto as the official currency, so that until now the regulation is still unclear. 1. Possibility of getting hacked. Like all of us on internet world worried about.

Security is important in cryptocurrency, there are many incidents of wallet or in account exchange about hacking, and this is an important concern, you have to secure your account well like 2fa and keep bitcoin in decentralized wallet, it's much better..

Bitcoin will be exist for long time and keep it on higher price with many investor always like for investing their money in bitcoin because always have speculative price of bitcoin, where some time in lower and some time in higher.

I totally agree with you and this will only happen after the big powers have come on board,because the technology behind cryptocurrency is incomparable,so I believe the future will be a better place with cryptocurrency.

Thats not a concern because is normal . crypto is intended to be that way  . they are built with volatile feature but this can be our advantage because we can earn more when the price pumps and we can also buy more when the price dumps  .



Whats the purpose of seeds and pharaprase ?  They are given this to you before ypu create your wallet so that you can recover your account once you loose your keys  but if you still loose this  . its already your fault because you are too careless of handling important stuffs.



Scammers  and hackers is not an issue because they are also normal  . before when cryptos are not invented they both already exist .  you can reduce your risk of getting them if you will only be careful and vigilant on what you do online

What about kyc/aml ?  These implementations can now protect you from money laundering and other illegal use    . and it also depend on the user if he purpose will he use his bitcoin  .

1- It is not so safe as you think, if someone get's your keys you will get most likely hacked...
2- Price is not consistent, rumors might lower or increase it, depends on investors actions.
3- Many lockdowns from several countries make it less powerfull in terms of future prices

You are right. Many people have concerns about bitcoin that are probably not even true and they live with the same concept because they are afraid of asking someone about it or they are too lazy to do it. A person should always do a little research and see if his concerns should be considered a real threat for bitcoin or not since he created them and don't know if they are true or not.

My main concern and thoughts about bitcoin is regulations,use case and acceptability as a spendable currency such as fiat currency,what will be the state when it is been mine to 21m,what will be the value,these have been of a serious  concern to me.

I'm personally concern on how long will the price stay volatile. I know that, Bitcoin could stay volatile forever but will the time come that it could be use as a normal currency that price doesn't depend on the normal currency. I believe that Bitcoin is better than any asset and currency, we should focus on making it be known by many. Unless people have come to know it, it will not really reach the point of becoming stable. Still okay for me to see volatility since I still expect sudden growth in price.

Hackers always exists and their mission is to steal people information / money. Bitcoin is available online and therefore it is always a danger of hacking bitcoins. We should take necessary security measures so that our money is safe. It is the responsibility of the individual to apply / follow proper security guidelines.

My main concern about bitcoin or any crypto currency is Regulation most of the countries not yet implemented some of the countries are busy at banning crytpo currencies . Seconed concern is wide acceptance . Third concern is ease to use ( Its very difficult to use in day to day life ) . Fourth concern transaction fees for every transaction . Fifth concern about centralised exchanges Do they really having Crypto currency in backend or just the number.

I can't name all 5 but I can only name what I think the major concern, and that is the regulatory aspect.
Even how confident we are that crypto should not be regulated because it's decentralized but we cannot deny the fact that there is a huge risk

My main concerns about cryptocurrency as a whole is ofcourse security,specialy when a certain coin needs an software wallet that you need to install to your pc as a regular user people can be easily hacked by this type if the project they are in are aiming to scam people.Second is uses,its been 9 years eversince and still bitcoin is limited to online purchases yes there are walk in shops that accepts bitcoin as payment but they are very limited in a country or in a region there are only few of them

My one and only concern is these hacking incidents there are too many of them now, and this is one of the big things that impede the progress of cryptocurrency, adoption will eventually come when we the security of these exchanges are on high standard and people are educated on how to secure their coins.

The spike in transaction fees we currently experience now isn't a problem to be worried about because they're not rising forever.

Day by day it's going more & more costly, in future if this happening continuously then it's a major concerns about bitcoin. There are also some important concerns about bitcoin which is Regulatory concerns, Market manipulation, Power consumption and Industry scepticism. These rising cost of mining, regulatory concerns, market manipulation, power consumption and industry secticism are big threat of the bitcoin.

1. there will be one country whose currency dies.

Indeed, the point no 5 is the most i concern about. If tax will be applied to all bitcoin holders, im not gonna hold it.
Applying tax in cryptocurrency is not good because cryptocurrency is a currency, not an asset like gold, house, or car.

About the first one, the same thing applies if someone gets your credit card for example. Or even your identity in some countries.

2. The price is not consistent for now but that is a really valid concern. Because i believe that it won't be for a while.

4. At least you can develop something, right? With fiat you can't enter a bank and start working inside their platform or you will be instantly kicked out, right?. Also it's good to point out that you won't really develop something with Bitcoin especially but with Blockchain and using it you can code to do different things. I find smart contracts particularly useful for projects/businesses.

5. If anything gets hacked you will lose everything but it's a lot more likely that you will be the one more than the Blockchain network. It's a really secure and transparent one, but it definitely needs a lot more work. I wonder what would happen if certain centralized entities invest in it. Lots of things could happen.

All these concerns are the reasons for many people not to invest in Bitcoin. many individuals are simply afraid that they would be hacked even if they manage to make some money on BTC.

Someone said about the concern of the possibility of being hacked. Well, everything can be stolen and even on the web, data, information, money (bank accounts) and other important stuffs that has great of value. Obviously that crypto's can be hacked but it also depends on how responsible the keeper is, if you keep your coins to a very reputable wallet like ledger wallet, ledger and any other hardware wallets, your security is tight. There are desktop wallets too that are very reputable and trustworthy but although you are using those wallets but you're a person that isn't careful enough to keep your details and just signs up everywhere. You can be a victim of phishing.
