Title: With all honesty, who still wants bitcoin to die?
Post by: flying_bit on November 25, 2018, 07:39:19 AM
Before this plunge, a lot of people spreading FUD about bitcoin and how they want bitcoin to die and how obsolete bitcoin is. People saying  that this alt or that alt will replace bitcoin and that bitcoin is no longer King of crypto. Now, looking at CMC, as bitcoin values going down so are ALL altcoins. No shitcoins...I mean altcoins able to get through what's happening in the market not even BCH, XRP, XLM or any other alts able to get pass through the bear market. This is just a proof that all alts value depends on bitcoin value and  the influence of bitcoin to the whole crypto market. I'm very sure before bitcoin value turn to zero all alts turns to dust just like when Thanus snap his fingers and dusting happened.

So tell me, with all honesty, do you still wants bitcoin to die?

Only Mr. Buffet and Dimon will wish for it as they see their business falling when bitcoin hit its peak. Oh, don't forget the so called satoshi (Craig). And don't forget to include Mr. Ver as well.

This is just a proof that all alts value depends on bitcoin value and  the influence of bitcoin to the whole crypto market.
Well, exactly. Nothing more to say.

Central banks.

Especially in countries with corrupt governments that print too much money. Bitcoin could stop them from robbing people if it gets too big.

Because majority of the altcoins are trading in pair in btc as btc has most of the gateways to fiat that's why. It's also the bridge to the real world imo so they will really depend on btc.  One thing for sure, as many exchanges accept other crypto, I won't be surprised that btc will be replaced as the primary pair for other altcoin someday.

This is very sad, especially since there are no altcoins that can exceed bitcoin, all of which depend on the parent, how can Bitcoin die? surely the community won't let bitcoin just die. We re-learn bitcoin well, there will be a positive side later and bring the bitcoin name back to popularity and viral.

So tell me, with all honesty, do you still wants bitcoin to die?

S honesty I do not want Bitcoin to die and continue to grow into a source of the economy of the world community, Bitcoin is indeed falling in price and is in the position of $ 4000 today per 1 Bitcoin. This value is arguably very low compared to 2017 and certainly attracts many investors in Bitcoin investment.
However, there is an interesting fact to see about Bitcoin before saying Bitcoin is dead.

For example, who is interested in Bitcoin:
1. Bitcoin Not listed in the banking system and not related to the government, so it is not affected by anyone,
2. Not produced or controlled by individuals, groups or companies,
3. impossible to duplicate, so even if people try to Bitcoin die it's really difficult,
4. Does not have a physical shape, so it is durable (not easily broken),
5. In other cases that happened to the death of The Silk Road, the FBI confiscated a portion of the site's assets which is 1.5 percent Bitcoin,
6. Bitcoin Exchange Bitfinex in Hong Kong was hacked by hackers to cause millions of dollars in losses, resulting in a drastic drop in Bitcoin at this time.

well even though there are people who want to make Bitcoin die, I think it will never work in vain, Bitcoin has remained victorious throughout the century.

Of course not. Whether they know it or not, no altcoiner really wants Bitcoin to die. It's just talk to hype up their coins. If Bitcoin crashes, it takes down the whole market with it -- that's always been true. Every altcoiner learns that sooner or later.

From day one I am in the favour of BTC. I don't want BTC to die, if it is going to die then whole crypto market will not be able to survive. No other currency have potential to cross BTC. If we look at the total investment in BTC, then we can see that in this worst situation the difference between BTC and nearest crypto currency is 50 Billion dollars. If BTC goes down by fifty Billion dollar or XRP moves 50 Billion dollar up then it can replace BTC. And this not going to happen.

You're on a bitcoin forum, obviously, no one wanted to die and it will not die. Bitcoin has survived a lot of challenges in the past 10 years, and I think that this test is just another bump in the road so to speak.

And for those who continue to attack bitcoin, Lol, you just have to go through their posting history and you will see the animosity towards bitcoin which really baffles me. They definitely have their reasons, but it never ceases to amaze me how they troll this forums for years and years. Lol.

I don't think that bitcoin will die, we should not worry about the price. Bitcoin is still usefull, it's better than any online payment methode even bitcoin is better than paypal, alypay or etc. Bitcoin price is volatile, we don't know where it moves. But the certain thing is bitcoin price will rise due to the increasing demand of it. And the demand is keep growing now.

I personally do not want btc die as this will be the end of cryptocurrency in case it might happen. I believe that btc will continue to thrive and continue to lead in the cryptocurrency market. In every market movement of btc, altcoins will always follow in the sense that altcoins are dependent to btc's market.

The only ones who want it to die are the ones who missed out. You aren't a failure if you didn't realise the potential in the early days, but you are if you can't see it now.

Bitcoin will not die, because the blockchain technology that produces bitcoin is widely recognized by several countries. Technology that is safe, anonymous, decentralized and low cost. With that technology, bitcoin will never die.

Bitcoin has a lot of enemies and it is not only the other Alt coin developers and supporters or owners of these coins that wants it to fail. Take for example all the industries that were disrupted by this technology, : Banks / Western Digital / MoneyGram and a lot more.

Some FIAT investors and Goldbugs would be very glad, if Bitcoin fails, because they are hoping that all that money invested into Bitcoin will flow into the commodity or financial investment that they are backing.

The odds are stacked against us, because we are getting attacked from all sides.  >:(

I see that the altcoin still depends on the BTC price, if the altcoin is able to survive the bearish market, I think XRP, XLM, ADA, and others will create a bullish price.

the simple conclusion is that altcoin can't make BTC die, and I still have great hopes for BTC, BTC will still survive before the stock runs out.

A lot of people who don't hold Bitcoins or any other crypto would like to see Bitcoin die. But Bitcoins isn’t dying anytime soon, the price are just falling, if a fair price for one Bitcoin are 1 cent or 100.000 dollars that up to the market and the real use cases for Bitcoin to deiced.

Yes, they want the bitcoin just to be theoretically completely unrealistic, and they can not do it. Can only push it down at a price too low and assume it's dead. And the person who caused it was all the people who invested, they did not hold and sold the coin, making it lose value and falling :'(.

Bitcoin will die, you are joking: D.
There must be a strong reason to kill bitcoin, maybe a technology war can be the cause. However, I think today is not the death of bitcoin. Bitcoin fluctuates according to supply and demand, although some say it is manipulation. But in fact, that bitcoin continues to move and is used as a transaction.

Although there are some experts who will predict that bitcoin will not fall at the price of $ 3000, I still see many people who hold bitcoin and believe that the technology behind bitcoin can be a solution in the future. Besides, there is a picture that is viral on social media, that this year is not the only decline in bitcoin to 90%.

Yes it needs to die so that others can live.

Bitcoin gave alt-coins a bad name after the miners were allowed to rip us off for $55 in fees per transaction which is something the
software team (that brought the world CPU wars) could have stopped.

Not happy with that the software team came up with the Lightning Network and they thought they could call them "Hubs" but those of us
with half a brain can now see that these "Hubs" are nothing more than mini banks that charge fees so the whole thing has become nothing more
than a scam and pointing out the obvious ensures that many of my posts here get deleted so tell me who's got something to hide because it's not
me.

You I don't think will get this at all.

We have got by for hundreds of years with physical money and can live without digital coins but you are about to become aware of a
game changer and that game changer is not "AI" that has just about stated to pop up on your radar screen but "AGI" and you should be
afraid, very afraid.

I won't bore you with detail but the real reason for digits is not for the monkeys but those that replaced them and this time around, it's not us.

Bitcoin failure means everything else failure. But seems some developers think Bitcoin has to die so they can compete to take the top 1 position of Crypto-Currency world. It's a risky and greedy movement that can just cause harm to the market, with the chance of taking a long time to recover from this later.

There's a good amount of people who want bitcoin to die and often is has little to nothing to do with the technology itself.  There are a lot of people in which bitcoin simply goes against there political and social beliefs.  This new found, non-government regulated, decentralized payment system goes against what they're used to.  You've also got plenty alts such as Bitcoin Cash that would love to see bitcoin die.  The Bcash community spends half their time arguing that Bcash is the real bitcoin. There's also a large amount of people who simply want to see bitcoin fail because they don't understand it.  Simple as that.

i also want bitcoin to die because im so freakin tired of this drama , im tired of this roller coaster , im tired of waiting for nothing  .

But to be honest , i also need cash because i dont have a stable job right not .  thats the reason that i cannot permanently quit on hodling and obtaining a bitcoin .

At the end of the day , im still praying that the price can still recover before we end this current year   even if the chances are verry slim because i still hear alot of bad news every single day .

Pretty much all banks and governments will want BTC progress to stop, I think we are all aware of that and there is nothing new in this. Of curse, you can add to those the names mentioned above by other users. But I really don't think that the fall of BTC is caused by people or entity that wants BTC to vanish, we should also put big whales and big entity that are interested in Crypto space in the equation they have the best interest to make the pirce fall, they are now pretty much can buy all big alts with cheap dirt, and who knows the plan might even to bring the market more down.

I think the number one who wants bitcoin die is the central bank and most of commercial bank because all we know that all banks see bitcoin as number one competitor. Because more of their clients are now investing at bitcoin industry so bitcoin is biggest threat to their industry so I can say that they are the number who are want to bitcoin die. And the next one is government because all we know that bitcoin is not in legal stage status so they did not have collect any tax for every bitcoin transactions. And last one is multi level marketing or also known as networking because the member or downline of their team are already moving in bitcoin business.

Nobody here will say it and I think no one wants Bitcoin to die. Only those bank enthusiast like Dimon and Buffet are those who want to die Bitcoin because cryptocurrency is competing the industry that made them rich.

I think the recent drops of Bitcoin is caused by FUDS and panic sellers. Maybe a small manipulation too,

I think bitcoin won't die because bitcoin is the most valuable coin in crypto. And those who spread bad news about bitcoin, don't want bitcoin to die, but they only want the decline of bitcoin to be able to buy cheaply. Stay positive, and hold bitcoin.

So tell me, with all honesty, do you still wants bitcoin to die?

no, I still expect full BTC and other major coins such as ETH and XLM, XRP is returning recovery towards the price of ATH. To be honest, bitcoin and cryptocurrency are my only current income. On the other hand and at the same time we actually also support btc and crypto towards death, it is proven by many scam projects and not a few of us support it before realizing it, panic and cutloss

Calm down bitcoin will not die in the near future. bitcoin has just started its expansion, not only because the weakened price makes you think negatively that bitcoin is will die ? actually what worsens the condition is speculation and negative opinions from investors themselves so that prices continue to decline, just believe in bitcoin, prices will definitely return to normal and even higher

The only ones who want it to die are the ones who missed out. You aren't a failure if you didn't realize the potential in the early days, but you are if you can't see it now.

Agree with this guy, only people who missed out in early days will rekt and want to see Bitcoin dies...

Honestly, I don't want Bitcoin dies. I have a dream to become rich from Bitcoin someday...
Many people using Bitcoin as their income. I don't think sure they will let Bitcoin die, I'm sure many people will do something to make Bitcoin keep alive......

The banks and the government.
We all know that the government is wants to control the use of cryptocurrency, and it is the main reason why many jurisdictions are now imposing rules regarding the use of these currencies. The banks who has no match against the growing technology of the blockchain knows that they will soon lose to cryptocurrencies because of its efficiency and low cost transactions. Many banks are now adopting blockchain (centralized blockchains) in order to maintain their path in technology innovation. Both of these entities cannot stop blockchain, this is the future of finance!

i also want bitcoin to die because im so freakin tired of this drama , im tired of this roller coaster , im tired of waiting for nothing  .

But to be honest , i also need cash because i dont have a stable job right not .  thats the reason that i cannot permanently quit on hodling and obtaining a bitcoin .

At the end of the day , im still praying that the price can still recover before we end this current year   even if the chances are verry slim because i still hear alot of bad news every single day .

you need to sort your priorities and not wait until it's too late. not to scare you or anything but you have to understand that bitcoin is highly speculative and price can soar and tank to near zero (exaggeration) and give you an emotional breakdown if you're relying on it alone. with markets like bitcoin, you need to detach your emotions and be ready for the worst - like most do when they enter forex. it's still a gamble to invest only the amount you're prepared to lose if worse comes to worst.

Pretty much all banks and governments will want BTC progress to stop, I think we are all aware of that and there is nothing new in this. Of curse, you can add to those the names mentioned above by other users. But I really don't think that the fall of BTC is caused by people or entity that wants BTC to vanish, we should also put big whales and big entity that are interested in Crypto space in the equation they have the best interest to make the pirce fall, they are now pretty much can buy all big alts with cheap dirt, and who knows the plan might even to bring the market more down.

yes, although Christine Lagarde, International Monetary Fund managing director, recognizes and acknowledged the significance of cryptocurrencies, she does not endorse bitcoin. rather, she suggests "government-backed tokens" or "central bank issued digital currencies" (https://cointelegraph.com/news/central-bank-digital-currencies-could-have-legitimate-role-says-imfs-lagarde) so it may be regulated.

i'm not totally against regulation and we need that to a certain extent but not to the point that it's suffocating the life out of you - like the way our fiat is handled.  governments and digital currencies plus regulation? that can still breed corruption.

so whoever wants bitcoin dead, i suppose, won't succeed because there are still many who hate a system that holds your money hostage, kills its purchasing power, and takes chunks out of it for the benefit of the privileged few.

If you think bitcoin is dead, you shouldn’t care about it so much. In fact, those who really think bitcoin will die may have sold their bitcoin and no longer care about it.
Relax, there is nothing, Bitcoin is still alive, it is just the bottom of the roller coaster, but it is not the end. I believe Bitcoin will live longer than us.

"IF" that thing happens, but seems too impossible for now $3,000 is too far from zero and Im sure if bitcoin continues its price to go down there will be more people that will invest again so therefore in every price fall the price resistance gets stronger.

True and serious believers are those who don't want Bitcoin to die, because they certainly know where to go and what do whenever there is an arising crisis in the world of cryptocurrency. But for people who lose hope and confidence, they likely to quit. For others who would like to ruin Bitcoin's reputation they are those who keep on spreading negative and fake news about Bitcoin. However, I still strongly believe that Bitcoin has a long way to go despite controversies, I'm very hopeful that more will become fully-aware and realize how truly beneficial Bitcoin is.

Why don't ask yourself first if you wants bitcoin to die? If majority of the community here wants to die bitcoin, probably this forum for sure won't stand for a years. And none of the altcoins too will survive now, because as I can see it so far almost most of the altcoins exist because of bitcoin in my opinion. due to as you see, when bitcoin decline alts also got affected by it.

Well I like the sentiment that you tried to put in but I would advice you to get a proper degree and a job first and keep bitcoin earnings as a secondary source of earning or maybe side-job; if that even makes sense. You never know what is going to happen in future to crypto regulations in your country and you may be barred from using it.

The reason why I say this is that this is one of the biggest reasons why bitcoin "dies" in some places. Legal restrictions of offshoring alternative methods of currency are not new. Crypto has since its birth been the target of law enforcement to be mode of offshoring.

I believe that bitcoin can not die. Blockchain technology is developing steadily and does not stand still. Monetization of almost all blockchain projects is arranged using cryptocurrencies. That is, every day there are more and more new cryptocurrency. In this case, bitcoin acts as a reference cryptocurrency - an analog of gold. I'm not talking about the fact that next year the market expects an influx of institutional investors.

I don't like bitcoin to die in fact I wish for the bounce back of bitcoin in order to watch another trend that can attract the hopeless investors to have new strength and hope to altcoins. Once bitcoin down the altcoins will be affected. That's the normal trending of crypto. Hope that there will have another coins that will control the market flow.

I don't think anyone out here wants Bitcoin to die, Bitcoin has one reserved place in the world of cryptocurrency, once Bitcoin dies all altcoins will go to bottom I believe, market cap of bitcoin may be decreasing but we should notice that market cap of all alt coins is also decreasing and investors and sitting aside in bear market and waiting for the right opportunity, once money comes into flow market cap of Bitcoin will be at the same level or above.

Nobody wants a bitcoin to die here, if anyone wants bitcoin to die they are just people out there who don't have the enthusiasm for cryptocurrency. Yes, I agree and that is right, before bitcoin becomes zero then before that happens all altcoins will only become junk where many people invest in it, say like ETH, XRP etc. that all the widely discussed altcs will replace bitcoin. But still all altcoins will continue to follow where bitcoin moves.

This is not an option, first of all because of the way how it was built in the first place. People going around and making this kind of statements and comparing it with financial crisis of 2007/08 is just making the things worse. It was built in the first place to protect anonymity and create a decentralized system which means that if any part goes down, it will not cause total collapse as it happens when it comes to banks and regular financial system. We will look back at this in 10 years and understand the importance of the moment.

There are still many people that want bitcoin to die, especially governments, institutions that depend on public funding and banks as well, but all of those that wished for the death of bitcoin so their coin could take its place are probably regretting that they wished for that, because it cannot be any clearer that this market belongs to bitcoin and to no other coin.

There is no other coin that will replace bitcoin. I still believe that it is the potential coin that no other coin can beat either. Even ethereum that supports many of the platform cannot. I do not believe that XRP can. Even how down bitcoin is, it is still more expensive than any other coin. More lower price of bitcoin than other coin do not going to happen in the market.

I know most of those that want bitcoin gone are the ones that lost money one time or another and weren't able to recover. When it comes to bitcoin and cryptos, volatility could go a long way whether it's a push upwards or a dump. You have to have a broader perspective to survive times like now.

That's probably true.Everyone who is already in the crypto world treats bitcoin as something quite natural,at a time when most people have no idea what bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are.Even with a falling market, interest in cryptocurrencies is still growing every day. Therefore, I can conclude that the market is still very young and it will surprise us many times. And without bitcoin can not do here.So bitcoin will not die.

I am not sure any cryptopreneur or a crypto enthusiasts would wish to see the downfall of bitcoin because bitcoin is the cryptocurrency which rules the crypto market. Unless only the greedy developers of several altcoins who are only seeking the downfall of bitcoin thinking their altcoins would rise after that. But bitcoin is strong and it is supported by a strong community hence such wishes would not never come to pass! Bitcoin would forever be the most valued cryptocurrency.

It so stupid to want bitcoin to die. Bitcoin is a remarkable term in the world of cryptocurency. It is imposible to die and just disappear this kind of digital currency by means of that FUD, it might me but not in the easiest way. We can never predict what might come but Bitcoin to DIE is somehow least possible to happen.

I think nobody wants to die Bitcoin who love it because all tokens are pairs with bitcoin as it is unique coin from first. Another alt coin may up and down by total trade or supply but when all alt coin compare with bitcoin price then how it will die. Besides this men who still does not know vast about BTC they may want to die btc like banking channel that they think for their jobless. But i think slowly it will win.

Some people who want to grab the FIAT for their lifetime because they are doing good in that.
But even they want BTC to die, it will never happen as BTC already build a strong community in the market.

I think that big investors and projects manager were involved for the bitcoin to change it's value in the mind of investors and i like to hold bitcoin because it is universally acceptable currency and through this we can become independent from financial institutions for making online funds transfer now blockchain makes it very easy for us to make it true and now many good features of bitcoin help us in the business.

If the bitcoin is lost, the altcoins will also lose its price and I do not know if anyone else will survive. Because all altcoins are connected to bitcoin. Thus, when the bitcoin increases, altcoin prices will also rise and when fall, the price will fall also

These people joined the crypto world because of wrong speculations of becoming a million with bitcoin within a short possible time.

Well, I ain't even sure Ver is finding the situation right now any funny as his own coin has crazily gone down in value. I believe everyone into cryptocurrency is roped in this. Perhaps the governments (especially China and other countries that banned Bitcoin) and the banks are the happy fellows here.

When the stock market drops and Exxon , Apple, & Verizon all go down.

Did Apple & Verizon drop because Exxon did, and the answer is NO.

They all dropped because the big players sold off a % of all their assets and they own a small % of almost everything.

Same thing happens in crypto market, bitcoin could die tomorrow , and it would be no real concern for me.

Once btc dropped low enough another alt would take over, as btc would no longer have enough value to matter.

Many cowardly traders , funnel money into btc as the total market drops,
as they are frighten and falsely believe like you BTC would be the last coin standing.

It won't be, there are some coins that network can survive no matter how low their price goes.
Btc is not one of those coins. Any coin that have reasonable monthly input costs can easily survive a year or more bear market,
as it supporters can keep it running without fear of going bankrupt.  Input costs to maintain a coin network matter.   ;)

If they are really supporting cryptocurrency in one way or another, they must know that killing Bitcoin might be tantamount to killing the entire cryptocurrency world.

Killing bitcoin only kills bitcoin, any useful blockchain technology will still be used as bitcoin does not have to be part of it.

It won't kill the entire crypto markets only fearful dumbass believe that nonsense.

Example :
If verizon collapsed , are you dumb enough to believe all other cell phone carriers would too?
Fact is they would grow and each take a % of verizon market share and life goes on.

Because if bitcoin will become more trusted and many people will used it maybe all banks will disappear and in th e near future no one will choose to use bank because digital crypto currency will be more amazing than bank we can all see the digital currency is now slowly becoming a part of the economy so there is really a great chance that most of the people will choose digital than bank investment.

Bitcoin is the oldest, most well-established crypto... but it is outdated, a lot of alts are preforming better...ok, it has the largest development team, the most experience and the best chance to be accpeted by people in general... but nothing lasts forever and bitcoin will eventually be replaced by something more advanced...  it's developers and people in general have reduced bitcoin to just money... and if we face it just as money...it has a lot of issues...
Right now I want it to boom and start the bull run...if it will start...

without bitcoin , then there will be other cryptos such as altcoins but if ever there will be no cryptos  i think there will still be funds regarding on other types of investments ( i.e forex , stocks , bonds  , real estates , etc )

like i said earlier , if bitcoin die there will still be altcoin and altcoin wont just die because people will probably switch on it  . yet let say if cryptos dont exist  , we can still earn a profit on other form of business  , thats why we can still buy a food and eat  . we wont die   .

everyone involved in using cryptocurrency certainly does not expect bitcoin to lose its value. Real evidence that there is a very sharp decline in prices on bitcoin can affect the value of other altcoins, so bitcoin is still the king of cryptocurrency and can be a benchmark for all other types of altcoins.

there's saying thats honesty is the best policy,so therefore in the terms of cryptocurrency system, theres nothing want the bitcoin to die, instead people want to make it more growth and to surpass its legacy towards globally, thats why only few people want it tobecome and down and those people are we called greedy, they only looking for there self and they dont look upward the good benefits to the intere community or society, and thats bitcoin its helps a lot to make people become entrepreneurs of there own.

It is good to have an alternative currency because your choice is not limited to fiat when comes to transactions so it is better for bitcoin to stay alive. Many investors just want the price of the bitcoin to go down and make it more affordable when they start buying again. Few bitcoin  wants the bitcoin to die becumause they believe that the top coin is a threat to their own coin or business. FUDs andother negative news might affect only the price of the bitcoin but not its existence.

People keep talking about bitcoin "death" but they fail to understand that is a sarcasm to call an asset as dead. Moreover to publicize this sarcasm people have even made statements like this is the end of bitcoin an crypto several times already and everytime they make such comments the pump follows. What people fail to understand is that this market is a mixture of no-coiners, bitcoin losers and bitcoin hodlers and some scum who have come here to grab every piece of cash they can find.

The bears will be bearish. The bulls will remain bullish.

The only people who want's for bitcoin to die, is those who have a lot of money, but bitcoin will never die, well maybe some day, but until then we won't live till that day, the only reason people want for bitcoin to die, so they can get it as cheap as possible... So grab it all when it's low in price and sell it a all when it's big in price. the simple solutions are the best. I really don't want him to die, because he gives me some money.
BItcoin will not die, currently it is experiencing a significant price decline. But there are those  expect bitcoin to die, that is competitors who don't like the success of bitcoin. But business is a matter of trust. When bitcoin is down, all bitcoin owners still believe. So it must rise again.

- Indeed, all bitcoin users do not want bitcoin to die because it is a very good place to make money, and as you say, they just want the price of bitcoin at a low level then they will accumulate and hope the bitcoin will increase and bring in profits for them. But if everyone does not want the value of bitcoin to return 0, why is bitcoin still falling, the only answer is that there is a force behind this story, they are controlling the game, they do not want Bitcoin died but they also do not want people to accumulate easily, they want the greatest benefit always belongs to them

I never thought or wants to die Bitcoin and I am strongly believe it will last forever. Many users are losing hope when the price of bitcoin is in down fall. It always been a topic to die Bitcoin once the price start to fall and when the price is goes up they are suddenly disappear. Just let people talk about its dying which is not true so that Bitcoin can be popular even though the price of it is decreasing.

those who want bitcoin to die are people who feel their interests are threatened because of the existence of bitcoin but I don't say its name, I myself believe bitcoin will not die and bitcoin will still be the leader in the cryptocurrency market.
And it is very interesting that those that feel threatened because of the existence of bitcoin are the ones that are causing the most damage to the economy by manipulating the markets as they want, so they are not really worried about the damage that bitcoin could cause to the economy they are worried about the control that they could lose and about the easy profits that will be unavailable to them if bitcoin succeeds.

Capitalization does not mean that the market is collapsing. It's just a value game in order to make a profit. This is absolutely normal for both the stock market and the cryptocurrency market. If you carefully analyze the market, you can see that it is developing and growing. The number of projects based on blockchain technology is increasing, the number of network users is increasing.

Cryptocurrency has come to stay since a decade ago through bitcoin. So there is no wishing bitcoin to be dead because it will not happen any sooner. All the other altcoins are after bitcoin and owe bitcoin their existence. The other altcoins will only rise when bitcoin is on the rise and then dip when bitcoin has lost the trend and goes south. Bitcoin is where in future most financial transactions will be carried out.

Of course I don't wants bitcoin to die, I am so saturated about fiat money, it's inflation only make people who have monthly fixed salary become poorer. Government said that the number of paper money that circulate is limited but people still can counterfeit it, although this is only give small contribution on it but, the core of this problem is the inflation that unstoppable. If we want to make bitcoin price go up then we must hold our bitcoin, the price of money will rise if people need it and want to have it, so more merchants should accept bitcoin and Bitcoin user should use it to buy goods from those merchants or they should hold their bitcoin, don't sell your bitcoin for paper money because the value of paper money will decrease because of inflation, although you save it in bank and get interested but actually you only get small percentage of bank profit from lending. Don't make yourself poor in the future.

This is true, and honestly speaking one of the major things reason why some of the government in the other country hate and not allowing it to

enter to their country was that they are centralized while bitcoin was decentralized. Which means, they won't get any benefit from it.

Bitcoin will die.
As I read somewhere, no one still uses Netscape for browsing.

Main problems will never get solved cause people say" ah lets do same as last 10 years".

"muggle" media always talk of Bitcoin. They will stop when other crypto is more invested and understanded. And this will be the end of Bitcoin.

Ok to be real it will never die full. But clinical.....

People willing bitcoin to die are usually the ones willing to buy cheap as even they know price might recover at some point.

That's like " the ship is sinking but I'll stay on board just in case it doesn't " when everyone else is heading for the lifeboats. 😊

Especially in countries with corrupt governments that print too much money. Bitcoin could stop them from robbing people if it gets too big.

I do not want bitcoin to die quickly because I already know and serve bitcoin for a long time I refused bitcoin to die and how can bitcoin not die
well, I think, for now, there are still some people who don't like bitcoin, or other cryptocurrency. for some reason, but I've read the news that there are people who want to get rid of bitcoin.

No, I never want bitcoin to die. Maybe some people who invested in bitcoin and sold them with big loses, they want that bitcoin will vanish. Some people have not right knowledge about bitcoin, maybe they also want bitcoin to die. I hope bitcoin & altcoins will survive forever.
Agree with you, I also do not want Bitcoin to die and be useless again, maybe there are still many who agree with this, because many have been involved there and hope they will stabilize and return to their heyday, only a few panic themselves who hopes to stay good.

I never once expected Bitcoin to die, because so far its existence has helped our needs, especially in financial matters. In my opinion, besides being said to be the pioneer of AltCoin, bitcoin is the life of all cryptocurrency including XRP managed by banks. I don't care about FUD, even though a series of FUDs hit electronic media, social media without exception, although it was distributed by people who claimed to be financial experts, economists, conglomerates and government, all of them could not break our interest in a crypto world that was proven profitable.

I don't think that anyone ever wanted it to die. If anyone had any hidden agenda into all talking about the death of BitCoin, it was probably only for the profit. Even people talking about it know that it will survive or they need someone to assure them into it. The ones that were convinced that BitCoin was going to die left this story a long time ago and none of them would bother saving the rest of us by showing us the right way to go. Let's face it, people are selfish and profit orientate and all of us who are spending our time here are the ones who believe in BTC.

It is not the only reason why Bitcoin will not die, it is like you are saying Bitcoin is providing these people with a way to earn money.

Bitcoin became popular to investors in the past year because of its capability of generating a good profit in a small span of time, who would not be investing in that kind of investment right? Yes, it is true that a lot of people are still relying on their profit on the Bitcoin price but with the price these days, it will be hard. Bitcoin will not die not because of the reason that you stated but because there will always be someone that will be investing or taking advantage of the low price of Bitcoin.

I'm gonna have to correct you there, BTC will stay on top for sure, other coins have risen but it is still not enough, BTC will be on top for a long time, but BTC is not invincible so I won't declare it as something that cannot be touched, however, some cryptocurrencies does not yet have the manpower to overthrow BTC because it is just really too big and people know that Bitcoin is the first thing you'll hear when you hear the word "cryptocurrency", don't claim it dead because BTC is still young and evolving, it doesn't mean that the price is being dumped doesn't mean it won't make a comeback.

I would never want bitcoins to die in any scenario, as masses would loose their income and hard earned money that they have invested in bitcoins. I believe all the times we hear of how good it'll be if bitcoins would die, is a blatant attempt to manipulate bitcoins prices. This attempt forces people to question their beliefs about bitcoins, and leads them indulging into panic sales. The people who create fud in the first place quickly buy it at lower levels to profit in the long term.

maybe the thing to do is to stay calm and keep abreast of the development of bitcoin prices, but if so far it's still like that who doesn't panic and sells a few coins to continue to live daily because maybe there is only a cryptocurrency focus or that's the only job.
Prices did move upward yesterday and today there is a bit of a correction again. I guess there are resistance levels at 4000 USD price mark because it is dropping even before it is touching there.

Best thing to do is not to get involved too much with the minute by analysis. No use for those who are long term players and this only drives amature players into taking wrong steps at the wrong times. Agreed that one should focus on their daily work and not get swayed by news. Stay firm to your beliefs of the system that drives bitcoin and watch it take over in future.

Me I don't want it to die. Being the first one is very significant. Should we rely on the old technology it brings other than its new counterparts, nah. But who cares, it's still the gate to this wonderful chaos of financial world.

Well no reasonable cryptocurrency enthusiast would wish the death of bitcoin. Bitcoin has an immense control on the out come of other coins in the market.

Some critics are notorious for creating FUD which most times are fake news I try my best to avoid such news

I think that's a meaningless question. Most people here invest in bitcoin and support its idea. Therefore, we all want it to develop and be implemented as a currency.

Doesn't mean that you are an investor, doesn't mean that you will be having a benefit too.

If someone will be reading this as a newbie, they will be thinking that all, as in all of the investors are having a benefit out of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies but it is not. All of the Bitcoin investors are having a benefit unless you are stupid enough to quickly sell your Bitcoins and suffer the big loss.

Warren Buffet is strongly against crypto because he is heavily invested in the banking system.  If crypto succeeds he stands to lose a lot from his investments.  So Buffet and his partner Charlie Munger continue to call bitcoin rat poison to help suppress the price.  Recently Bill Gates has also taken a stand against crypto, Buffet is his BFF  ;D

At first, the Chinese tried to monopolize the cue ball by releasing asiki under it, but this was not enough for them. Then they came up with BCH ABC and SV, thinking that it would be very cool to declare it as a real cue, and press the cue ball under them. As a result, the cue ball in the red, not only for these reasons but also for these, too.

I'm not sure if translated into English it keeps the same meaning, but in Romania there is a saying: Horses don't die when dogs wish. Same for Bitcoin: it won't die when some haters wish.

Bitcoin is here to stay. It will live as long as Internet will exist. Indeed, price might have important fluctuations due to market's volatility, but this is perfectly normal in a new market.

It's not that I wish, but if Bitcoin goes to the prices I was looking at and didn't invest then I'd of course dip my hands in. As a technology I do like it but adoption in my eyes is almost impossible.

I think nobody engaged in crypto-related activities wants bitcoin to die. Even pro-altcoiners don’t really want that because it would mean a collapse for the whole crypto market. I agree that the dominance of bitcoin should be reduced, as most cryptocurrencies are designed to compete with fiats, not with each other.

I have known a few of those people that are mad that they lost money with bitcoin and now they are spreading all kind of lies to try to make people not invest in the market, it seems as if they blame bitcoin for their losses when the first thing that you need to learn as an investor is that any losses that you get are your own fault and if you did something wrong then you are the one that needs to fix it.

Only those who are threatened by the existence and popularity of bitcoin will want it die. Expect more fuds and other negative news for bitcoin in the days ahead including its death prediction while its value is still declining. You can't please everybody so there always a group of individual that are against it. I believe that they more people that support bitcoin than the ones who against it.

Those who have failed in managing digital assets so that they only want to make a bitcoin mess, for me bitcoin does provide a little advantage because it cannot follow the opportunities given by bitcoin. If you can use the bitcoin opportunity well then the death of bitcoin will not be expected.

I never think bitcoin will die even I don't want to see it at all. There are some people who don't know about the history of bitcoin they perhaps want bitcoin death. As a big fan of bitcoin, I want its property and success.
What is the history of bitcoin? why do they want bitcoin to die because of its history?
Unsure of those who want bitcoin to die because of its history, those who assume bitcoin will die are only those who may be desperate because the market continues to fall and they have lost a lot of their investment, and also the possibility they consider bitcoin to be digital money that won't has a good impact on many things. There are many factors that make them assume bitcoin will die, but as long as bitcoin has value and can maintain it, I'm sure bitcoin will last for a long time.

Everyone has a different opinion on a technology, especially against new technology that concerns of money. I am sure if bitcoin is a smartphone or other technology that can be used freely then now everyone have used bitcoin freely without fear of a regulation that proscribe. This is about money, every country has its own money, has its own economic system while bitcoin is an anomous system, so there will be many people who contra with the appearance of bitcoin. Those it natural things, you have to understand it.

This sounds really funny to me. No matter if someone likes and supports Bitcoin or not what is the use of want for Bitcoin to die. And what exactly that means?
Everyone has the free will to do what he wants so you can use it or not and those people who don't like it should just avoid it.
To wish for someone or something to die no matter the reason is vicious and mean. Especialy if something so progressive is involved, like Bitcoin. It's just the new technology with idea to make changes and progress in financial world.
