We had some problems with our binaries build that has delayed the launch. The pools supporting this should be avoided in relation to real quality projects like Ravencoin. The Zelda theme tells me this comes from Minermore. Who seemed to be legit. Avoid them until they rid themselves of this scam. They are going to profit either way though. Pretty sad what greed does to people.

On t-rex instead of -a x16r  in the command line you simply put -a x21s  assuming you have downloaded the latest t-rex  version 0.8.3

Several pools already listed their command line instructions if you simply read the previous posts.

Why are you unable to mine a coin for 24 hours and gain your own experience with your own conditions?

True miners are always scouting new coins and setting up a rig to mine the new coin,,, right now the mining difficult is so low,,, you will be very surprised with the volume of coins in your wallet per day.

I have been mining with one rig 10 x AMD RX580 on and off since 23 December and have over 90,000 coins... my target is 100k then move on to another project as i HOLD.

Rito could be there in one year too because it is an improved fork.

The first peak of number of miners is over, this means you get a lot of rito now when mining.

My rig makes approx 3.000 rito a day (which is small - only 4 x gefirce 1050) and coins have a value of approx 60 cents - but compared to coin calculators there is nothing that really gives more reward.

And if price of rito in one year is like price of rvn now this would mean i mine 30 $ a day....

Those are haters like any coins you will found this kind of fud. You are not obliged to mine, you are not obliged to buy coin, you are not obliged to follow RITOCOIN.
But at least be patient, read the whitepaper, follow discord before spreading rumors and fud.

The true spirit of ritocoin is to implement new ideas in the blockchain. Raven coin is not seen as en enemy, people developping or mining RITO loved Raven for what they did and respect them.

Rito is a playground for talented developpers, GPU miners and investors.

“Just want to give a reminder here that even though masternodes are on the roadmap, it is not set in stone. This coin belongs to the community and we will do what we as a community want to do. If we conclude that we want to take this coin a different direction than masternodes, then that is what we’ll do.”

The Ritocoin dev team is pleased to announce the release of version 2.2.2.0 of the Ritocoin wallet. This release brings us up to date with Ravencoin's latest release, and also contains numerous improvements contributed by the Ritocoin team.  This new release has substantial improvements to the chain syncing performance, and also uses much less memory. Asset indexing is now disabled by default so if you want to run explorer type services for assets, you will need to enable that index. The 2.2.2.0 wallet was released a couple days ago.

It incorporates a gigantic number of achievements courtesy of Ravencoin and in collaboration with Traysi.

We keep finding issues and improvements to RVN and we work with them via Traysi to get them fixed and resolved.

Those improvements get put into the main Ravencoin codebase and then we bring them on over into Ritocoin.

Our plan has been to fork Ravencoin and not stop there, but continue to collaborate with them to improve that chain, and then continue to follow Ravencoin code at Ritocoin.

We have a really good process here for incorporating all new Ravencoin improvements into our own codebase.


I feel very positive for the future.

Messaging will be added to the asset codebase very soon, maybe within a month.
You will be able to send messages to the holders of your assets. That is going to open the doors to surprising and innovative ways of using assets.

2.2.2.0 also significantly improved performance and memory utilization. Traysi led the charge on that one, helping track down why Ravencoin/Ritocoin was using more memory than it should. The asset layer underwent substantial changes to improve this.

What are team next move


The next big milestone is the pi/2 day when the block reward reduction starts. We are just over a fortnight away from that event and it is going to be a big event. I will be spending a lot of time leading up to that continuing to test and scrutinize our code to make sure it will work flawlessly. Once we get past that and all the pools hang in there without problems, I will be relieved and ready to move on to further developments.

The block reduction has been tested on the RITO testnet.  No issues observed.

What is known about MN? When will the information about the required collateral? deadlines for implementation?

I have gotten the sense that the community is steering us away from the masternode direction.

I believe the CD idea is an alternative proposal.
Basic concept behind the CD is this: You could take coins you own and timelock them and make them entirely unavailable for a length of time (a week, month, year, 10 years) and you get a percentage reward as "interest" just like buying a CD from the bank.

The community will guide our decision making process, as always.

Whatever distracts you, you must issue a roadmap with deadlines and execute it exactly.
And so you just say, but you haven’t yet created anything.

Height 525600 came and the new rule activated successfully lasts night.

This was a quiet occurance that nobody really noticed but it was actually a highly anticipated event for me and I was really happy that it went without a problem.

The dev fund is now no longer mandatory in the chain and the block reward goes all to the miners.

Pools that didn't take off the charity address will  still send funds to the dev fund but it's no longer mandatory.
