Ritocoin is a blockchain software development project designed to experiment with alternative and additional concepts with ideas based on those begun by the
Ravencoin.

The project launched Friday, November 30th at 1700 UTC. Key changes from Ravencoin include a change to the X21S proof-of-work algorithm, a roadmap for
masternodes to be added, and a strong community development emphasis placed on delivering easy to use end-user oriented features and add-on utilities.

Full commitment to preventing FPGA, ASIC and even NiceHash from mining the coin.

Starting at height 157,081 we will begin a reduction of future block rewards in a smooth exponential curve down. We will sharply reduce the block reward from
5000 down to 1000 within 2 months after activation of this schedule. Once we reach 1000, we will enter into the long-term reduction curve that will eventually
take us down to a permanent block reward of 10 RITO per block.

Development of the blockchain is entirely separate from things like getting listed on exchanges. Getting on exchanges is not at all dev team priority.
We will help when needed but for the most part, we're not going (dev team) to initiate any of those activities.

         

 
 

Team Rito has created a multisig Ritocoin address and labeled it as the community wallet where anyone may donate RITO.

Community members may submit ideas detailing how to use those funds and put ideas into action.


Seven Team Rito members have keys to the Ritocoin Community Fund multisig wallet. Three signatures are required to move any funds. This offers the
redundancy required of risk mitigation and security best-practices without overly restricting the team’s ability to execute transactions.
