Bitcoin pumps when there is a high demand for it, forget about whales bla bla bla. Come to think of it, if whales pump bitcoin and non whales refuse to buy it, what happens?

The number of people that exited crypto currency this year is when it was at the peak.
Many, I repeat many left crypto this year and might not come back.

What gives crypto curency demands ??? HYIP platforms, ponzi platforms, Matrix platforms, etc. All these have faded and ended.

Same time 2016 btc was on the go despite the xmas cash out because there was high demand based on the above listed platforms functioning well.
Btc dipped last December and failed to rises because all those platforms are dead including staking coins like bitconnect.

Now the answer is what is the demand of bitcoin, forget about proposed demands, forget about block chain this and that adopted by countries and banks.

Crypto will achieve its vision only when it is regulated, not having over 2000 shit coins to USD, over 200,000 shit ICO which 60% will end up scamming people

If I happen to be part of the team to monitor crypto, I will have only 20 currencies accessed and that will be the maximum coin that will exist on coin market coin

50% of crypto  currency fall is caused by scam projects
30% of  crypto  currency  is caused by fall of ponzi and hyip
20% of  crypto  currency is caused by whales and pump and dump team

Regulated means if the crypto will not become a decentralized thing again and then this space will be fully controlled by a party. As far as know the market has been used to generate fast money. A lot of traders are doing it right now and they are taking the opportunity.

Amazing description, it need to be regulated. I have participated in more than 150 bounty campaigns, exactly 60% bounty campaigns were fake. Those bounty campaigns that have transferred tokens but their token is not listed on any exchange, they are legitimate fake bounty campaigns. Those who listed their token but the price is 500% less than ico price, those are also fake. Only few are real. We need to start from scratch. Community needs legit and real ico with btc payment.

and a dump simply happens when you pump something. so in other words you can not expect a balloon to be filled with hot air for months without exploding at some point and deflate.
that is what has been happening to altcoins this year. they were losing that "air" that was blown into them by getting dumped.

Yes, market regulation can increase crypto market's morality. I believe that investors are the core of crypto and if they will backing out due to security reason then it have a great affect in market so if only security is regulated much more on every new ICO then they feel secure on their investment and we know that more investors will change market volatility and bearish market will rarely happen.

We will not reinvent the wheel. What you describe has happened many times on the stock market and other investment areas. There will always be speculative cheap projects. Yes, I agree that the regulator is needed. But he just can not save us from the eternal influx of new projects. The bearish market is here for whales. They have got their profit at 20k USD and now they are pushing the price deeper and deeper to buy at the bottom. When they will, the market will bounce back and we will see another price records.

Bear markets are a normal part of cryptocurrencies. BTC has had 3 bear markets where it lost more than 80% of its value in its short 10 year history. You need to understand that cryptocurrency markets are cyclical with people swinging between euphoria over its potential and despair over its slow uptake. Right now we are in the depths of despair over prices and regulatory reactions to the last bull run.

I think your reason is reasonable for the bearish market. A lot of ICO projects along with cryptos released and had low volume, not atractive. So that the demand will lower than supply led to the declining of cryptocurrency market in 2018.

Unfortunately, the pump and dump scheme is also one of the reason why we experiencing this bearish market for a long time now. As you mentioned, the whales are pumping bitcoin while the non whales are doubting to buy because of a massive dump of cryptocurrency when it losses its value for more than 90%. We are all waiting for a proper regulation in cryptocurreny and once that happen, an adoption will come.

The HYIP platform really not give us profit or a way for financial freedom. Instead they stole money from us. It is a scam scheme. And do not fall for that if someone offers you a HYIP link.

Bull and bear markets are a natural part of cryptocurrencies. BTC has had 3 bear markets where it lost more than 80% of its value in its short 10 year history. The market goes from periods of Euphoria to periods of Depression because the promise of the technology is so great which also means it is a huge threat to vested interests. We have different observation on the flight of Bitcoin on the Crypto Market. We seen that some expert opinion as posted that the same observation they have, high volatility, Bitcoin is oversold, no more taker even with the low price. Not to mention the issues by the government on Regulation which contribute further to low confidence level of the consumets on the market.all of this indicators if factored in contribute to the present situation of the crypto market.but market correction follow after the drops.

I do not really know the main cause of the bear market exactly, but I think manipulation of coins also has a lot to do with the great downfall. And also people becoming more familiar to cryptocurrency, but doing it in the wrong perspective. BTC can change a whole lot of coins too, depending on how it rises or falls.

The reasons are really possible, but definitely, in any case, no one will say for sure, simply because these reasons are very difficult to understand, but this is just my opinion, maybe everything will be just much better than we think today.

The reason for long term bear market in this year is not far from the activities of fraudulent ICOs in 2017 which most of us were victim of, we trusted the market so much that will put much into them and many of 2017 ICOs are no one to be found again but their negative impact is still with us here.

I agree that the main reason for the bearish market is a very long bullish growth, but the fact that the market has fallen so much, this is also the fault of the whales, which began to drown the cryptocurrency, as it could not fall so low!

i had a great investment in GMB, a bountyhive bounty project. i invested a few bucks in the ico session and it is now listed, good for me i got over 100% profit whihc is good as a beginner ico investor.

Why you say whales are not manipulating market???? Do you know Bakkt delayed its launching 3rd time in a row first they were supposed to launch on april 2018 at that time price of BTC was around 7000$+, then they delayed to launch on Dec 2018 in this month BTC price was around 4100$+. again 3rd time they delayed their launching which supposed to launch on 24 Jan 2019 and in this month the price of BTC is around 3650$. Every time they are delaying the price of BTC is going down. This big players want to accumulate as much as BTC they can from the small investors by taking them on panic mode & playing with emotion with small investors. A lot of Small investors made huge money in the last bull run within very short span of time & some made losses by investing in the market when the prices of coins were already on peak. Most of the investors made decision to Hold their coins because of their greed  even though they made profits with their initial investments without taking out seeded money & there were so many investors who entered already late they too had no choice but to hold their coins in hope of recovering losses. This is where whales got chance to manipulate the market & play with the emotions of the small traders. Yes its very easier to manipulate crypto market as its not regulated as compared to stock market. Crypto scams, Scam ICOs & crypto exchange hacking gave golden opportunity for the whales to play their game nicely.

I believe you are against the anonymous of the cryptocurrencies and bitcoin in particular and it should be regulated under other to bring out it really value and adaptability. We always want to makes money and that is why with the kind of risk in the icos,  ponzi and betting industries people were still investing.  We should pray for public adoptions in other for bitcoin to come out with it really value.
