What month will bull run starts? I can't wait to see my portfolio increases up to 100 times after joining so much bounties and got potential altcoins that will bring me to riches. When shall I see it?

the problem is to find the new coin that can do a big % of price grow...we must look for coins that are not ico or bounty but people are too stupid for this....I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin,vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3028302.0... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers

Most of the pump nowadays is very slow especially for the bitcoin and ethereum because they are really hard to prediction for now.

I hope that the bull market will come soon, and my investment in cryptocurrency has already lost a lot.

We have seen a decreasing trend till the Chinese new year and a boost in price after that as a lot of mining and trading comes from Chinese community and they sell crypto to get money for the festival. And the festival lies on mid march. So, It would be at least the late March.

I don't think anyone can predict when will the bull come again, there are much rumor in last year the market will recover again, as you know it never happened in last year, anyway, I have invested my hard money in this shit market and hope it raise again.

if the hardfork is successful, I'm sure there will be a bull run in February because the ETH supply on the market is reduced. Block rewards are reduced from 3 to 2, I'm sure there will be very significant changes in the market because of this.

I don't think anybody knows exactly when the bull season starts. We can only make predictions about this situation. My guess is that the bull season will start in late January or early February.

My predict is March, when ETF announcement is in 27 of February, if they approve it then the bull run should be not longer than early of March but it's only prediction no one knows when the bull is coming... But I hope when the ETF approved the bull comes up

So you're one of those with the "get rich quick" mentality, huh? I got news for you, we won't see a bull run in a very long time. It's very unlikely that we'll see one this year as there isn't (and probably won't be) a clear "catalyst" that could trigger massive buying pressure in 2019. This will probably be a slow year with gradual increases in prices so you won't see your portfolio increase x100.

Also, since you have that mentality, I'd say you're probably holding a bunch of shitcoins worth less than $1 because you think they'll go up in value when the next bull run hits the market...to be honest, chances are that those shitcoins/bounty tokens that you're holding will probably dissapear before the next bull run hits the market so I'd recommend you to either dump them all or convert them to a legit altcoin or to bitcoin just so you don't lose your money.

BULL run is dependent on when the decision about Bakkts institutional investors option is getting approved. New ATH will come after that.

No one can tell you precisely about next general bull run but i can sense some good bull run for eth from here and i think it will be bigger than most expectations i think the eth fork and upgrade hype will pick momentum in some more days and we can see big fomo and nice gains in eth price.

After ETF will be approved. After Bakkt will be launched. After smart money comes to the market and buy our cryptocurrencies.

The first quarter of 2019 might be the recovery phase of cryptomarket and we might finally enter bull run in the second quarter but still there is no guaranteed on that. You have to be more patient, wait for the right time and continue investing because if you are just hoping for your bounties token, I think its not that profitable. But of course there could happen some worldwide shitty event that force people to get acquainted with crypto much faster then I expect it. I see many threads asking when the bull run starts. Sorry if no one can give you an exact time and date when the bull run will start. Don't think of it that it will come within a week or two. Give time to the market and be patient until that day comes when your portfolio increases not by 100% by more than that.

You can still have your coin increase to 100% with or without the bull run. The bull run is usually associated with massive rise in bitcoin price; just that it has a funny way of affecting other altcoins. It will surprise you to know that some coins even die during bullish market.  All that a coin needs to survive and rise is to have a real world usage.

It is difficult to say when exactly the bull run will start, but I think that there is not long to wait. If you have a lot of perspective coins it is good. The best time will soon come for those who have worked all this year. It remains to wait a little.

Bull run will definitely not be in the first quarter of this year. Cryptocurrency needs more time to recover from such a long fall. Perhaps by the end of the year finally the situation will change for the better.

Everyone is expecting a bull run this month and on the following months. We have an incoming NASDAQ listing for bitcoin, ETF decision, Bakkt bitcoin future markets and ethereum hardfork so this year is pretty exciting. Still, dont expect too much or disappointment will occur. Consecutive price breakouts for bitcoin may confirm the bull run because there will be a possible buy request if that happens.

The Bull run may start at the end of first quarter which is March. I think January and February may just be used in stabilizing the prices at least so that most of the coins can leave their low states.

Right now, coins are only growing individually, so it is hard to predict if that is not we will continue to have or that bull run will still come. You can just focus more on coins that are likely going to give you profit, even without bull run, so when bull comes, it will be a huge profit for you.

The market is now slowly rising and back into normal, but we cannot really predict the exact, date when the bull run begins because bull run really depend in that market status and we all know from the start that the market status is unpredictable and it is unstable due to the unstable volume of the investors or the people that use crypto currency to earn or to stock. Buying and selling had really a direct effect on the price depending on the amount . So I believe that everything unstable and we cannot really predict the bull run.

The expectations of bull run is very high and it is understandable. However, it will not come overnight. The market has shown some indications of recovery in recent days.

The current condition is still calm and remains at a tidal level that is not conspicuous, maybe the pope is sleeping soundly so the signs are completely invisible. Be patient we are all waiting for the explosion.

My prediction would be that the bull run will still take at least about 6 months more, because the changes has not being so great meaning a lot of people are scared of put their fiats currency back into the crypto space. my prediction are base on fundamental principle  when the next bull run might probably take place . although last year 2018 was a horrible year , the year start with negative news of regulations especially china banning crypto currency from their space in late january to second week of febuary  with crypto asset recording all time low. but now we have lot of good positive report in this same month of january to febuary in the lite of bakkt and facebook , so in my opinion we should expect a bull run in Febuary 2019.

Prediction is not totally reliable even they use many tools to predict something because prediction is always based on self expectation, so its not reliable, maybe its better to pray that some of the month this year bull run is there.

The only thing am looking at is the reason why manipulators will want to be relaxed, If they stop then the coin can also have a relief. Bitcoin normally will climb without influence with the rising number of users. The early part of this year is for the coins stability, it is believed that we have seen the coin's bottom. Sale orders will start getting filled for bitcoin then some side moves for next few months, maybe 6-7 months.

I think the market hasn’t bottomed out yet and a major bull run is out of the question for now. But I want to be wrong.

Once there's regulation and the SEC approve ETF, then that would most probably trigger a bull run.... OR .... if the stock market crashes hard and people put their money into crypto, that would also trigger a bull run. I think we'll see something this year. Sooner than later I hope.

In what month is the pump certainly difficult to predict. But if you look at market prices at the beginning of this year, of course, the price of all coins has started to increase and especially for Bitcoin. And we have to start investing before the market is pumped. And I think that will happen in February and March 2019 and this is only my opinion.

If BAKKT push thorough with their original plans or shall I say if CFTC approves it in January then we might see a good bounce to around $6K levels. But if it will be postponed again, then the price will definitely suffer. I doubt that a Bitcoin ETF is going to be approved though, I'm leaning towards a BAKKT approval so let's see how it goes.

It may start by January itself but how far it will take the coins you are holding is the biggest question here. Because, many experts are predicting about sideways markets for the complete 2019. Hence, we cannot expect any big bull rally which will be setting a new ATh for bitcoins and ethereum. But, I believe any bull run which will be making prices better than what we are having right now, is most welcome. Because we have fallen into the deep of markets, need to have some quick recovery as early as possible.

On what regulations that you are talking about ? I have not heard anything about that as no states are on verge of making their stand against cryptocurrencies. But, SEC is still rejecting all the bitcoin etf applications if any improvement is possible there then we can be sure about stronger bull run. Crypto may fall due to negative news but definitely will not fall totally. You need to understand this fact for making better investments.

Nobody tells you that exactly when the market begins to grow. It can start at any moment, so keep your coins and do not sell. One positive news can provoke a strong upward movement.I have some coins dropped more than twice but I'm not going to sell them in a minus.I believe that soon begin to grow

Really, if you're still waiting around for a x100 portfolio increase, here's some advice: it's not coming. Sure, there will be many more tokens and coins, including existing ones, that can still do x100. After all, dogecoin x100 now just means 5000 satoshi each. Ripple x100 is also $30, so none of that is impossible.

But it's never going to happen again for all the crypto tokens on the market like it did in 2017/18. That was a huge mistake for utility tokens with 0 utility.

Based on the predictions market will going to start going up by the month of June, but it will not be a bull run still. It could be more stable then than now but who knows with all the hard forks that's coming, bull run will come in an unexpected days... No one can answer your question. Bullrun may come tomorrow, in February, March or next year, but I will not stop believing in cryptocurrency and its bright future. In my opinion, if you believe that cryptocurrency is able to bring you profit, you will buy your coins and will wait as long as it takes time. Personally, I think that now there is a rush on the cryptocurrency market as no one practically knows what is happening on the cryptocurrency market. And all the more so now is the time for those who can tolerate and wait for this turning point. And who will remain the most resistant one will receive all the wealth of cryptocurrency. So I advise everyone to endure and wait for the time for wealth to come.

I think a slow and gradual increase would be a much better deal for all of us than a 20k tomorrow type of deal. January, February and March looks great and have a lot of potential new things that could make the price go up but I just wish that price moves more securely.

I do not want price to move from 4k to 20k to back on 6k, I would rather see it go to 6k directly without anything in between. That will be at least not risking us anything, when we go too high than there are a lot of people that lose money while dropping back, those people eventually leave and give bitcoin a bad name talking about how it was a bad investment and all that. If we do not go that much from 4k to 6k would mean %50 increase in our investments and that would be better for all of us in the long term.
 

We can be sure if the ETF will be approve on the announcement date or not because the government have been playing us several times. However, the ETF approval does not just mean the bullish market will happen when it March because it will take awhile before bull run market could happen.

Bulls can come to the market, but as you understand just like that, they definitely will not come, you need a very serious reason only then, the market will start pumping money and people will start coming to the market again.

I don't want to be predicted in January to March, but I want to hope the bulls come just in time. Come sooner, it will be better and restore market conditions to rise to the top. I know we are all looking forward to hearing this news. So, keep the spirit!

You can never predict a bullrun and you cannot also predict what will happen to the market. It's better to have a continuos small growth than to have an up and down movement. A bullrun would be great but I'm not expecting one to happen, for it will only affect my decision making.

We cant surely predict the specific day or month when Bull run occurs. I expect an ETF disapproval and hence not a bull run. I expect a lot of people will give up on the Bitcoin/crypto idea and sell, while the Bakkt platform will be already launched and the big players will scoop BTC on low prices. So, not much volatility expected.

First we need to hope that the market will not fall in January or February. If growth begins, it will begin only in late spring, closer to summer and will continue as in 2017. Perhaps the peak will be in autumn.

Bull run is not on sight as of now. The market is still recovering right now with stable prices of coins. The prices are going up and down for the past few days. This fluctuation is better than continues decline.

Don't count on the bull run to happen in all altcoins at once. Most projects are pumped and dumped by groups of speculators. There's even an article online about such a group trading in China. They put together a lot of funds and are using them to pump and dump new projects. Only coins with very big market cap like top 10 altcoins are immune to that.

Some coins like ETH may be having their bull run right now, some may not get it ever again.

Don't expect too much for a bull run on Q1 of the year 2019 because we cannot really tell it so you better prepare yourself for a continuous bearish market. But let us all hope that this year is the recovery of crypto market from a huge downfall last year.

It's hard to answer as we don't know when and we can only predict. Many people still predicting, the bull run will come to us in this year but the truth, they even don't know if that will really happen or not. I think we don't have to think about when the bull market will come but what we need to think is how we could still make the profit in the bear market so we can have more balance in our wallet and prepare for the bull market.

I guess January will be a month of lower volatility (compared to December) and we might see first signs of bull pressure in February.

Next year I guess? 2020 for sure. Still we don't see any potential for the sudden and abrupt increase on the market as the cryptocurrency is stable on its market cap and price. I think bullrun can be predicted after we see it at the end of January whether altcoin and ico lead to a positive or negative trend. even though there is a bullrun I think it will run slowly and not as significantly as the end of 2017. Hardfork conducted by ethereum this month will be one of the references to the rise of Altcoin, if it is successful then optimism for a positive trend this year can be expected.

That is not bull run. I do not see any signs for this. It was just a slight recovery of the market after it was dumped. It is an increase and decrease in each cycle. Besides, the price of BTC and ETH increased, causing altcoin prices to rise.

I don't think that we will see a bull run in the first Q of 2019. Maybe in the second half of 2019 or towards the end of this year.

First of all, the definition of "bull run" is different from one of us to another. Someone might have bought BTC at the top, and he waits for BTC to go to 19K, so that he becomes even! Someone might have bought BTC or alts a lot cheaper and he might wait for, say, 6K BTC.

and if that's true then I think you have to move quickly before the market recovers, because as far as I know that mining and faucets take a long time to be able to collect a lot of coins

We cannot predict the bull run in the crypto market and as we see the price is just increasing slowly the year 2018 was the correction year for bitcoin we can expect good growth in the value of coins but bull run might happen or might not happen but we need to be ready for all good and bad happens in the market. Chinese New Year and US Tax are "events" that historically add a downside pressure on the price. Probably any news on Bakkt or ETF, even if super great, will not be powerful enough to counter.

The bull market is not going to start just because you want it and even if it does there is no guarantee that you are going to get profits with the coins that you got from bounties, do not get your hopes up because it is very likely that even if a bull run happened that you will lose money, besides you're asking for profits that are completely unrealistic, you want to obtain 100 times the current value of your coins and not many coins give profits that great.

How about no bull runs for this year because the investors have no interest to pour their money because of the bad condition of the market right now? But that what they did will not bring any value to teh coin. If it will bring any value it will bring to the company that will run that service. Pay salaries for their employees. Again the organizers of ICO and what is profit will g to their pockets. Tokens will be worthless.

It is hard to predict when the bull run will come, it might be soon or even in year 2020. IMO, is bull come in 2019, it will be after March 2019.

It will really move the market if trillions of dollars will enter in this industry, but who is gonna put millions of dollars again after lots of scams are reported in this industry. But still hoping that it will happen again.

The chances of getting rich from those bounty token is too low with the bearish market situation as I don't see any ICO that rises above their ICO price. I do not think that bakkt, fidelity, etfs are huge for Bitcoin. I believe any of them can't create huge additional  demand instantly and all of them represent centralized bureaucracy structures.

With all of these applications means if all of the things are getting centralized to the bitcoin. These applications will force bitcoin and crypto to follow all of the compliances that issued by the regulators.

it's true what you write. now many bounty is just fake, or awkward. In 2015-2017, few bounties were not successful, in 2018 not many of these sujces - almost rarely. own checking of coins is always good. unfortunately, the times of the highest shitcoins are behind us.

Topics like this were daily in 2018 where the question was similar or same, how someone wants to know when will the next bull run starts. The topics got many answers and as you can guess almost 99% of the answers were wrong.
There were some lucky hits purely filled by blind chance, but still, 99% of the answers are completely useless. When you cannot see the future, it is impossible to answer.

I hope it's true and there are good hopes for this year, I see a lot of good news for the beginning of this year. We all hope there will be a miracle coming for this year.

I am not really hoping for another bull run as of this time as i already did hope about it last year. Holding my crypto assets is what my concern for now no matter how long it will took for the bull run to come.

I think the bull run would happen this year but not this early. There are lots of development that should happen first. We all know that the prices of bitcoin these days is unpredictable. What we need to do is to have more patience and just wait for the right time to sell.

Absolute max marketcap that we had was only about 7x current prices, so 100x is I think unrealistic, at least in the medium-term.
Certainly some coins can increase 100x, but these will be some of the very low cap coins - and the vast majority of low cap coins will not experience anything like that growth, and many will actually fall in price.

As for when we can expect a bull market, I'd say we'd need prices 2x what they are now before we could say the bear has ended. Maybe March, maybe not.

At times very small growth took place and after a long now positive signs of market growth is felt all around. We don't know what's gonna happen in the falling months.
