ETH is pumping because there will be HardFork on January 11, 2019. The comparison ratio is 3:1, you will get 3 Ethereum Classic Vision (ETHCV) every Ethereum you hold on your private wallet (not exchange wallet). People are buying Eth and hold it until the hard fork happen, that's the reason why ethereum is pumping right now.

this doesn't seem like a pump to me. it looks more like the FOMO buy of the newbies that think they have missed the train and are trying to catch up. of course it started as a recovery so a big part of it is just that.

price of $100-$150 is far from being a pump.
it needs to get a real big rise above at least $200 to be considered as the start of a pump. not to mention that the faith of the newbies is not yet back. they are still wounded from the 90% dump on their heads. and without newbies you can't have a decent pump.

Yeah, it seems that everyone is preparing for the hardfork as some exchanges are already show some support on that. Its good to see ETH on that level again, hopefully its a real pump and not just a result of hype and the fomo of the investors. seems you are misinformed about this ETCV thing. they are not part of the actual eth devs. they are using the eth platform just like any other fork.
imo, eth is not pumping. they have actual capability to make a difference in crypto community. their developers are continuously working on their platform to make it better. and people are seeing this potential.

No surprises, this was always expected. Ethereum is the Number 2 cryptocurrency by volume for a reason. The fact that it has dipped considerably in the last couple of months doesn't mean it is dead or finished. It was always going to rally and pump when the time was right. Also, the recent pump has been enabled by the fact that there are a lot of Ethereum forks coming up this month. Lots of people will want to buy and hold ETH in order to take advantage of the forks and earn some free and easy tokens. This will only lead to more price appreciation in the days ahead.

This pump is still not significant yet. The ethereum price have really sunk so low to the extent that those few people that were able to buy below $100 are the ones who find current price profitable, the rest of us are still in the red!

I strongly believed that  ETH will still  continuously pumping for now but the pumping is not gotten to the point we expected to be, only those that bought ETH below $100 are profitable from the market now .

The reason for the pump is the massive buys for the three ethereum forks starting on 11th of January where some tokens will be Airdropped. I don't know if the market has adjusted enough for long term hold but I am definitely selling after constantinople fork to make profits

It will be completely different because we had enough already of the bear market and this time, we will going to see the bull running. Year 2018 was not too good for most investors and traders but this time it has to be different than last year.

Ethereum had been the best option. Now at 50 USD profit per Eth and still going up. This will be the time for crypto to get back up but I also dont want to be late on exchanging it to bitcoin. So now, monitoring prices will be hourly so that I can ride the boat before bitcoin pumps again.

Buying ETH at this time is a very good investment decision considering the fact that the good news coming up is really going to shoot the price high. Am very optimistic that the price will reach 400$ before January 2019 ends.

Eth have win against Ripple and it continue to rise by then. Not really that fast and back into $400 but we still hoping and positive always. Even it won't achieve but at least seeing it moving up,  it have a huge chances. And with that scheme,  it could also affect on altcoins prices and make way to rise by then.

ETH and alts should outperform bitcoin if this is a real bull run. Bitcoin dominance on coinmarketcap is down to 51.3%. When it goes below 50% and starts trending lower, alts will start shining.

I am very pleased that Ethereum has returned to its second place, although I had no doubt that it will be able to do it. Now I continue to invest in it and I think that this year will be very good and profitable.

A worthy price should rise only with the release of the upcoming update. Now, this is a temporary Wars, and it is likely that once again they will sell the price up to $ 130. Then you can still try to put orders for re-purchase. For the sake of experiment, I placed orders for $ 135.

Nice, you’ve got a great profit for that but I don’t think we will see another big dump for now since ETH is still on the mode of hype because of the hardfork so expect for the price to go up high again. Though I’m also waiting for another dump so I can buy more but the market seems taking a different way and its more on the pumping side.

Very good days for Ethereum, that is true. It had gone to the bottom at 80 dollars and now is almost at the double price. Ethereum should not be that low, but the market has done this. Even the bigger coins have become very cheap which is good if you want to buy but not for holders.

I believe that Ethereum became very oversold, not the least due to the fact that projects that had collected ETH during their ICO phases were almost forced into selling large amounts to preserve investment funds for the near term. I don't think we should expect a lot of growth from Ethereum. It will be able to break through 160 dollars, but it is unlikely it will go more than 180-200 dollars.

I remember I held ETH for over a year. After buying ETH @0.086 it dropped 0.028BTC. I was watching my investments were losing value but I held then after long time it started to gain the value it crossed my buying price and at around 0.089BTC I decided to sell. I've never heard any updates regarding Constantinople after its postponement, maybe they just preparing it for the final date. I know it won't greatly affect the market price or it will help for the recovery. We could say that this is not the right time for bull runs and even BTC price aren't be moving. Our market measuring us how we strong and our faith on crypto.
