Many people have lost a lot in 2018.They hope that the market environment will be better in 2019.But I think that if we want the market to recover, we need to wait for two years.

Most technical analysis says that the bear market would end by 2019 but you just can't end that without any valid reason. Assuming that there are tons of positive news upcoming to the market for this 1st quarter but it doesn't guarantee such movement ups.

I agree that we have to wait for more year/s (1,2 or more) depends on the situation and on how institutions would react to the current bear market. I think we're still on the accumulation phase that should be taken consideration not just by us but by majority.

We will never know when the market can recover, but certainly can happen at any time and does not have to wait for another 2 years. There are many people who are argue that the bull run will start in 2019, but all this is only hope and a speculation that does not necessarily happen. No one can certainly tell or predicts if the market is going to improve this year 2019.  Many speculators said bitcoin is heading to $50,000 or $100,000 in 2018 but you can see were it is today.  I think cryptocurrencies is seriously in bearish condition and something fundamentals has to happen to push it from that condition.

Two years might be long and I believe this year we will see a good market again. I’m one of those who lose money during the bear market, but for me its ok because I’m willing to wait for long since I hold good coins and I only invest the money that I don’t need much and it allows me to live without worrying in the market.

2018 is indeed one of the worst years. a lot of negative pressure occurs and it makes the price of the majority of the coin experience a drastic decline. even in 2018 too many projects failed. this is one of the worst years in the history of digital currencies. I am optimistic that in 2019 a much better change will occur. already there are some projects that are indeed interesting and also look very aggressive, I'm sure that can make the digital currency market much better.

i dont think it willl improve this year  last year when price was just bullish a lot of people who dont even know cryptocurrencies invest in but this time they know what happened

IMHO improvements we will see after Asian New Year. I'm should wait a little bit. Every year we see slightly falling at the beginning of the year.

Well it will take a long time. That is more likely to happen than another run like 2017. However i think we can slowly climb to 7 to 10k by year's end if nothing major happens to scare away investors again. We can all just hope that this will be a better year.

There's no really a timeline when the crypto market recovers, but most investors of 2018 didn't see it coming the sharp drop. I think the market will start to improve for 2019, the current market conditions are still bad because of being overshadowed by last year's conditions, but after entering Q2 the market tends to be more stable.

Sometimes I just look like the market got improved when the prices are stable. Hell I'd be happy to see price bounce back and forth from $3500 - $4000 because at least it sticks there and don't drop below that range. But still its not improving if you hope to see the price move up to where you previously bought.

You just can't control the unwanted things and events that might come to the market. 2018 was a very tough year and to be honest, I'm still thinking that we haven't got out of that year. 2019's start can't be measure as of the moment because we're just half of the first month and things can way go further for the next months. The market will definitely improve not just in terms of pricing but in terms of analysis, fundamentals and adoption.

I have not seen any signs of happening in this market. Things are getting worse because the price has been greatly reduced compared to 2018. I think we will continue to be the ones who exist in this market until the end of 2020 because the demand for investment is very low at this time, making anyone lose huge amounts of money.

I think I can wait for 2 years especially if the market can recover and I would love if the market can do that in less than 2 years from now. Bull markets always happen due to changes in the fundamentals. In 2013 it was congress hearings + MtGox fake trading.
Then the bear normalized the overinflated price.

The event I'm waiting for is for whole crypto marketcap to rise above the $210b support line that held late in 2018. I think once we can establish new support above that point, then we are back to a bull. How long it will take... who knows?

I've never think that it could back again,  I just say that 2017 is one of the greatest history in crypto,  nobody is expecting that surge. But of what that surge happen,  it came bring a huge disaster as it returns.
