What would you have to do if you want to give cryptocurrency to your grandparents, barber, or waitress?  Assuming they are not too into tech and do not have a cryptocurrency wallet or address already.  Even if they are interested in receiving it, it will take some time to explain and help to get them set up and receive.  

One of the barriers to mass adoption is the fast and easy onboarding of new users, and it is one of the problems Note Blockchain solves with a novel solution and an easy to navigate mobile interface.  With the Note wallet app, you can generate a Note certificate that will allow the other party to scan a QR code to download the app and scan the other QR code to claim the Notes you put on the certificate.  And they don’t have to do it right then and there, they can do it any time before expiration date of the Note, which is set by the giver (default is a month after generating certificate).  The Note certificate can be sent as a .jpg file on SMS, email, chat apps, or posted online for your friends, family, and followers to grab.  You can even print out a few Notes and physically hand it to people you meet as you go about your day.  That’s cryptocurrency for anyone, anywhere, anytime.  

There is also a traditional web wallet interface for experienced crypto users, that lets users set up generate multiple wallets, and print out paper wallets for cold storage and added security.  The web wallets and mobile wallets can send transactions to each other via either the public address or QR code, but are otherwise independent and are not linked by phone number, wallet address, user name, etc.  Meaning the web wallet interface cannot gain access to accounts that were set up using the mobile app, and mobile app cannot gain access to web wallet addresses.  


Philosophy:
Note is built with the belief that blockchain is the future of money.  As have been repeated many times by many people, the key is adoption.  There have been many challenges over the decade since bitcoin has been released, and there are many promising blockchains with amazing features and functions, but if only the tech elites are using it, the potential of blockchain will not be realized.  

Note Blockchain is solving the problem from the other direction.  By using a basic blockchain and a very easy to understand and use interface, and by giving users an easy and fun way to give and receive Notes.  Once we get a sustainable user base, more features will be implemented.  There is a (for lack of a better term) “killer app” we want to implement, but we first must break out of the catch 22 of adoption.

How do I get some Notes?
You can mine Notes by following the instructions on the website, and there will be lots of giveaways on Twitter for the first month or two.

Although Notes will eventually be sold to fund further development and operations, we want to focus on the user experience without the distraction of pricing, for at least a little while.

-Print multiple Notes at once
   From print Notes screen, have pull down option to select number of Notes to print, default is 1.
   Max set at 20, for now.
   For each Note printed is an exact copy of the first Note.

-Print Notes that can be claimed by more than 1 person
   From print Notes screen, have an option to print a multiple claim Note:
   Once selected, interface has option to choose number of times Note can be claimed, and total amount, max claim set to 100 for now.
   Calculate and display amount of each claim, plus estimated fee, then deduct the balance from wallet, including the fee.
   One account can only claim once per Note.

-Contacts list
   Displays a contact's Name, QR, and public wallet address, with send Notes button that automatically takes user to send Notes screen, with the contact's address already filled in.
   Make it easy to add contacts from transactions

-Personal updates (social media timeline like feature)
   A section for social media posting, where users can post text, pictures, or .gif files (no videos yet), see and interact with other user postings.  
   Posts can be liked and tipped, can be replied to with additional posts, single layer or nesting conversations.
   Users can choose several pages: profile, where they can see a chronological list of their own posts, a feed page where they can see posts by people they follow, and a discover page where they can see trending posts
   Two options for discovery algorithm TBD.
   Pictures will either need a size limit, be compressed to a certain size, or both.  And posts will disappear after 24 hours in order to save server resources.

-Like button
   Display like button under the social media posts, one like per account.  Click like button again to undo like.

-Tip Notes button for personal updates
   Display tip button, each tap sends the tip amount to the post creator.
   In settings, allow users to set tip amount (0.01 to 10,000).
   In settings, allow users to require confirmation or not before tip is sent.
   After 1.5 seconds after the last tap, display amount tipped to content creator and deduct from wallet.
   Tips are collated and sent 5 minutes later, one transaction per user tipped (to reduce the number of transactions)

-Emoji support
   Enable emoji for public posts.

-Scan imported pictures (do not need 2 screens)
   Allow app to scan a QR code from photo gallery.

-Locked Notes
   Give user the option to generate a Note that requires a 6 digit PIN to unlock

-Affiliates tab will highlight Note partners
-Repost: just as liking and tipping a post, it will make the post show up on the Friends tab of your followers and contacts even if they do not follow the person that made the original post.  However, it does not count as a new post, nor is it your post, so the tips received will still go to the original poster.  It also extends the life of the post for 24 hours, so it will have more time to get seen and tipped.  The max extension is 24 hours, regardless of the number of reposts.

Looks like -a scryptminerd should be taken out.  Not sure how that got in there, but just copy/paste from the website instructions and only replace the destination address. 

Some antivirus will terminate the .bat operation, so if that still doesn't work, you can try to only run the copy/paste code, and replace the address after knowing it works on your set up.

Although it is in its early phase of development, the approach is pretty interesting. I have tested their android wallet and it seems to be working nicely. I started mining with my PC, have not got any block yet. Currently getting around 18Khash/s, mining with 6 threads on my CPU clocked at 4.4 GHz on all cores. The app/web interface is clean and neat. So far, I am liking the project.

I'm liking the development on this project and I could see how it easily take over the Asian markets due to their familiarity and use of QR codes. No real issues with the android wallet and mining is straight forward. This will definitely be a project that I follow with interest.

And what about those who do not have an Android wallet?Many people do not use different applications-due to different reasons.And besides, smart phones have properties to break down,so I had lost the access code to one exchange.

That's fair and I'm sure that they will address those concerns.I would like to see a full node/wallet at some point also. In regards to Iphones; IOS development always seems to lag behind android on wallets.

Apparently still not quite the complexity of the high.As far as I understand these guys from the marketing team qube?

Not really, I wish I could do their marketing but apparently there was no pre-sale or ICO to fund it. I simply liked the concept and started mining. I already mined more coins than they could offer me in Note for helping in marketing! I will still make tweets for them to spread Note Blockchain since I like this project and already have invested in it. One thing I did not like about it though, the amount kept for the developers. 5B is a staggering figure considering the overall total supply of 55B, but I hope that they will re-evaluate it or seek feedback from the community.

I would like to address a couple of things that were brought up:

-Lack of iOS app: We are working on the iOS app, and will release it ASAP.  The ETA is around mid Feb, but you know how these things can go, we are a very small operation and I can only promise we are doing our best. 

-The amount of coins reserved for devs: We benchmarked several other projects and it seems like 5%-10% is fairly common.  We are on the high side of that range.  But we also funded the MVP without an ICO, so we have more skin in the game so to speak.

Note looks to be an interesting project with a nice concept behind it. The overall supply is a little high for my liking but I'm willing to give the dev team a chance to show what they can offer here. I won't be mining as I'm only using a laptop which already is 5 years old lol but I will participate in the bounty campaigns to gain some note coins. Good luck team and I hope this will be a huge success.

Jumped on the notes bandwagon (the print note concept is unique) over the last weekend and I am happy that I did. I believe this crypto has potential - it is uncomplicated, suitable for the average user and doesn't complicate wallets with complex keys & mnemonic phrases.

I think this is really fun. Their application is very easy to use, I hope in the future we can see collaboration with several merchants.

Merchant adoption will primarily depend on the size of the user base.  Also if we happen to grow super fast, that helps, but it's a secondary factor.  Unless it's supernova, then they mostly just care about how many people are using it RIGHT NOW. 

But I hope you gave it a try and you can see for yourself just how easy it is share crypto with your friends and family, instead of having to set up a very complicated wallet with private keys or 24 word phrase and unrecoverable wallets if those are lost.  You can print it like a picture and share few hundred or thousand Notes as incentive, it can be shared any way a picture can, email, text, chat, or even physically print it out.  And all they need to remember for the APP is their password and PIN, something most people are familiar with already.

The thing I really like about this project is that they are trying to introduce crypto to the world and make it easier for newbies coming in. That is why I believe Note Blockchain has a bright future as the community works together and gives away free NOTE to get people started.

That depends on the hardware you are using. It's not out of the question, but compared with the first week of launch, it's a bit more difficult now.

Thanks!  Our next step is to officially release the iOS app, which has finished the testing phase.  Then it's time to approach some pool operators, likely in March, and start looking for an exchange in April.  But these times are estimates and subject to change.  The development road map on the website has also been updated with this info.

Note Blockchain would have to be one of the best cryptocurrencies out there helping to get more people into crypto and also helping newbies out by giving away free NOTE coins. Its so easy to claim NOTE as the team wanted to make it as easy as possible for new people coming in and I think they have achieved this so far. Next step I would like to see is an exchange and desktop wallet.

Work has begun on updating the look of the printout, thanks to our community member exobyte for making three awesome designs and the community voted for the one to use!

Which tells us that the plan is to have the app ready before it can be traded? That is a reasonable strategy.

Yup, the Android app was released on Jan 15 and the iOS app was released on Feb 27.  So our MVP product has been out for a little bit now. 

We are looking into pools next, then exchanges.  We are taking things slow, step by step.

That's nice to see dev, its best to take things slow as you want to get everything right before releasing products. There are many exchanges out there now so it wouldn't be hard to get NOTE Blockchain listed, actually HotDex have a nice promotion going on right now where the listing will only cost 10k HTS coins which at the current value is around 0.11 - 0.13 BTC. That could be a cheap option for now.

Thanks for the suggestion, and HotDex is already on the list of exchanges to contact when the time comes. 

We want to get pools up and running first, but should be ready to get exchange listed in April/May, so we are not quite ready to take advantage of that discount yet.

Does the Note blockchain team plan to hold a bounty campaign in the near future? I have been less active lately in the discord, so I often miss info when there is a new airdrop. Hopefully four people can claim one $Note later.

In general, yes, we've had bounty campaigns before on Twitter and Discord, and will continue to have them in the foreseeable future. 

In the future, there will be additional bounty campaigns for other outlets as well, such as Steemit, Medium, Youtube, etc.  The best way to be notified of them is by following the Note Blockchain Twitter account (https://twitter.com/BlockchainNote) and on Discord. 

Can you tell a little bit about the statistics for app downloads? Has there been interest in it from the public?

Yup, considering we don't have any btc/fiat budget for marketing, we've been growing at a healthy pace.  As of this post at less than 2 months since MVP release, we have more than 350 active app users and over 750 wallets total.  Not only that, our community has several very active and engaged members that have contributed a fair bit of their time to help the project out in various ways like hosting competitions, answering questions in discord when I'm not online, making some awesome graphics and helping to build the pitch deck.  I count myself very lucky to have these folks on board. 

The thing we found out is that when we do a marketing push using free platforms like Discord and Twitter and without spending any btc or fiat to advertise, we can get a decent number of users, and the ones we get have given very positive feedback.  So after experimenting with it a little bit, we decided to focus a bit more on continuing development, since I think we will get even better adoption rates from marketing pushes once we get on an exchange.  That's not to say we have stopped our marketing efforts, just not pushing as hard as possible because we think other activities are generating more value to the end user, and that is what matters at the end.

The project is not an ICO, we already have a working MVP on iOS and Android interacting with the live chain, and more features to come later!

This is great news for NOTE Blockchain as its one step closer to seeing NOTE listed on an exchange soon and I also think that it will attract a lot more people once they can have their own QT wallets. The wallet app is good however a lot of the crypto community do prefer desktop wallets, myself being one of them. Keep up the good work as I'm confident that NOTE will succeed in the long term.

I don't subscribe to the hype it up and grab money model, would rather give a working product and honest numbers.  I'm one of those people that got burned by ICOs with fake promises and nothing to show for it after a year or more after they got funded.  We are not going to be run that way. 

The thing that gives me a lot of hope in the project is that even when we are not running any kind of marketing campaign or airdrops, the numbers still grow at a slow base rate.  Meaning people are actually introducing it to their friends and family.   

That is the one thing I'm waiting, the qt wallet.

I'll be sure to keep my eye on this thread as well as twitter for when it is released. It should help attract a lot more people into joining Note Blockchain so I can't wait for it.

Thanks, you are right, we are growing slowly, but we are a very small operation, with several key functions done by volunteers.  So I'm ok with the slower growth for the first couple of months. 

We've been focused on building out the project since the MVP release.  It was released with just the Android app, we added the iOS app in Feb (on schedule), then once the code was finalized, we released that onto github and added the official pool, and today a much better looking website and pitch deck.  Now that everything looks decent, our marketing efforts will ramp up a bit more.  There's still a couple of things to do before the exchange listing, but after that, we can market our project much more aggressively. 

I must say that I really like the new look website here, it is much better then the last website as this one looks a lot more professional and eye catching then the last one. Even though not many people out there know about NoteBlockchain, I'm sure they will once the word gets out. I like that the teams main focus has been on developments and haven't done much marketing as most projects that do marketing early on are just after the hype from the crypto community and most don't even have a product so I think the NOTE team are going about it the right way. Once everything is in place, then the marketing can start.

This is what I'm really looking forward to seeing as I prefer to have my wallet on my PC or laptop. Also that means Note will be one step closer to listing on an exchange which I know a lot of people are waiting for. The team has done an excellent job here as they haven't rushed into anything and are taking their time to get things right before releasing anything. This is the way devs should run a project but a lot out there don't which is a shame.

We've been live for 4 months, building the community, and both the project and the community have been adding features to fill out the ecosystem.  The growth in the past month has been about the same as the growth we've experienced in the first 3 months, and the word is getting out. 

On the exchange side, since we only got on an exchange a few days ago, many of the miners that have been busy mining for the past 4 months are dumping at very low prices, so right now is a good opportunity to get a bunch of Notes at very low prices.  After we burn through that, I think it would be reasonable to expect the prices to see an organic rise.  (not financial advice, not a promise or projection, just thinking out loud on the internet).

A couple of updates:

We have fixed the issue with a small percentage of transactions being stuck (removed from balance, but not going to the receiver's address).  And all transactions that were stuck have been unstuck. 


We are trying to prevent future crashes and server overloads by optimizing the performance of the mobile apps and the server.  To do that, we need to do some tests.  Starting tomorrow, May 24, the "Recent Transactions" in the home page of the app will disappear temporarily for up to a few weeks.  The full transaction history will still be available in the transactions tab, it's only the home screen display that will be affected.  Thank you for your patience while we work through this to improve the performance of the mobile wallets.

You weren't banned for asking questions, every single question was answered.  You went off on altmarkets.io because you thought their security was too high for your $12 deposit in Doge, and started cussing them out and calling them names.  Well sorry that the exchange we listed on wasn't made just for you, but it doesn't mean you can get away with calling them a shitty exchange. 

Instead of using the altmarkets.io Discord server and support channel, you decided to use the Note Blockchain Discord general channel to ask for support on altmarkets.io, then after they bent over backwards to answer your questions, on our server's general channel, no less, you start calling them names because your deposit/withdraw took some time.  They explained to you exactly why that is and that it's done for security.  Several other users reported absolutely no issues with them, but you decided to start attacking them because you didn't like the answer. 

You repeatedly took aim at the premine and at the exchange despite both of us answering all of your questions.  You either have put zero effort into research, or are stubbornly ignoring the facts.  I don't care to explain to you any further.  For everyone else that's reading, they can look at www.notebc.com and ask questions if they have any. 

Just because you are a customer does not mean you get to be abusive, especially when they have done everything in their power to help you, and there was not a problem to begin with.  That's why you got banned.

Ok, now that I am at a desktop, I can type quicker. This initial section is for newcomers to the world of crypto. I am not a veteran, but I have seen my share of altcoins and burnt my hashing power on bad coins. Generally, new coins either are offered through an ICO (initial coin offering) or are launched allowing users to mine from day 1. Coins with ICO have a significant pre-mine and make a lot of money for the developers when the launch as the only way for people to get a hold is to buy them from the developers through an exchange. NoteBC did not have an ICO, this means that the pre-mine was not sold away for a profit on launch day.

Coins that are mineable from day 1 sometimes have a pre-mine, sometimes they don't. It really depends from developer to developer. There are some coins where each block also automatically pays a small percentage to the developer. Again, pre-mines are often used to help the developer pay for some of their time, effort and other infrastructure costs when the coin is listed on an exchange. Almost every altcoin I have seen have been listed on an exchange very close to launch date. NoteBC is the first coin I have seen that was listed on an exchange nearly 4 months after launch.

NoteBC had a large premine due to the following factors
1. The coin founder is not the developer. He spent actual money hiring a development team to setup the blockchain, develop mobile apps, create the initial wallets. I think it is reasonable to want to have the 9% of the 55B (max coin supply) as a way to offset his costs. The coin was not listed on day 1 at the exchange (typically where the interest is high and people buy on sentiment). I see this as not cashing out and making a quick buck.
2. The remaining big chunks of the premine are for funding subsequent development cycles. Again, one would not do that unless @Note Blockchain believed that the coin has potential and if a developer was offered X amount of NTBC, they would see the same potential and work in return for this currency. The other approach is to sell NTBC as BTC/ETH and pay the developer in that coin. Whichever method it is, this is clearly documented and the 10B for development is untouched and every mote spent from that will be accounted.
3. Another big part of the pre-mine is for Charity. Identifying the right charities and funding them through the value of NTBC is down the line. I don't think I can approach someone like Salvation Army and say, here take 1 million NTBC and it will help you feed the needy. This wallet is also untouched and will be transparent in every transaction.
The above sentiments are my own, but I have strong confidence that @Note Blockchain has similar intentions and thoughts. Finally, the reason users like @Mathew 12 are not the right fit for our community. Through his many aliases, bubba has been doing one thing - trying to dump his wallet as he had an issue when he tried to sell NTBC. The issue turned out to be a non-issue (bubba was just not patient enough and didn't understand what @Wheeler | Altmarkets.io Exchange was explaining). There is a saying from where I come from, it roughly translates to "Rocking the cradle with one hand, while pinching the baby with another". To me, bubba is trying to tip everyone and look like a project benefactor when all he wants to do is spread misinformation and diss the project. Everyone in the mod community (@Note Official @Noted and @Notable) have always been ready to answer questions and explain this project. I suggest everyone to look at the site (notebc.com), ask questions here to the mod community rather than going by the words of a disgruntled user.

See, you are being disingenuous again.  Everyone on Discord knew I was on a family vacation for a couple of weeks in June and had much reduced activity on Discord and Twitter as a result of that.  And nobody else is saying altmarkets got hacked, they are having issues with the Eth chain and it's taking a long time, but nobody has reported any lost funds.   

I've asked you to stay away, and you have made it very clear what you think about the project and I, but you just can't seem to leave.  Could it be that you are a psychopath and this is the only human interaction you can get?  This is the only explanation that makes any sense. 

Are you really sure the exchange you are on really hasn't, the average google search say's 5 days and no more, damn even the BTC node only takes 5 days, is the team on dial up internet. I think they have been hacked, as for your claim no one has lost coins that is because they cannot access them. Your DOGE market is even 1/10 of what it was a week ago it goes to show that no one will trust a coin on an exchange that can not explain an extended delay in withdrawals and deposits.

The exchange you are on has massive problems and has probably been hacked, your coin seems to have some following but you still have a 66% premine of the coin.

All numbers on any exchange are just the a digit that say's you have XXXX amount until it is in your private wallet is means nothing, in this case 22 days of no ETH withdrawals means they have been hacked. You keep mentioning the reason you got banned from the server is "I asked about the premine". Answer me this, if the premine is something shady, why does every version of the pitch deck have the premine listed (and clearly earmarked for the purpose it belongs to)?

There was someone who asked when and how is the premine going to be sold? (That user wasn't banned if you must know, look for messages in the airdrops channel on June 3rd). I replied with a clear explanation of the premine. I know for a fact you were still around as you were banned after this whole episode, what I don't remember is the handle that you used at that time. You were banned because you were sh*t talking the coin for the simple reason that you weren't able to dump it fast enough.

I get it, people have different expectations of how a coin should progress and what they want to see in 1/3/6 months. If NTBC is not in line with those, feel free to leave. For a person such as yourself, you could probably throw that hashing power at a coin that better fits you. However, coming back again and again to a coin that you openly detest just doesn't make any sense to me.

I'm surprised no one pointed this out. Coin launches in 2019 and chooses scrypt as an algorithm, and says they will attempt to be ASIC resistant, when scrypt has be ASIC since 2015 (or was it really 2014). I would stay away from this coin just for that.

Hi Dev, something happened to the coin, I sent it to the stock exchange from the web wallet but they did not come in the wallet in the transactions they are not confirmed and stopped paying in the wallet from the payment pools, although I see that the pool sent coins. Need your help

Thanks for bringing that up actually, it deserves an explanation, especially now that we've moved past it. 

We were ASIC free for around 2 months, mainly I wanted to do that so the early adopters can get in and mine a new coin without the hassle of spending ASIC levels of money/electricity.  It was also a great time for the community because it felt like the early days of blockchain when everyone was solo mining using their CPU/GPU and getting a meaningful amount of coin.  It was a really fun time for the community and I look back at it fondly. 

How do you do that with a scrypt algorithm coin?  We simply did not release the code for a couple of months and ran the only nodes on the network.

Now for the real story! The coin has a 66% premine, but don't ask about that on any official discord as you get banned, the initial mining was between friends so they could shill on the official channel about how good the coin is! They listed on an exchanged that has allegedly been hacked once and has not allowed ETH withdrawals for a month due to allegedly the ETH block chain taking that long to down load. (must be on dial up)!
The devs also had 2 You Tube interviews one with a guy whom has less than a 1000 followers and another with a guy whom owns the alleged hacked exchange that take over 1 month to down load the ETH wallet The Devs obviously paid some professionals to develop the apps as I agree they don't come cheap, however couldn't even get the QR codes to read on the QT wallet. They state that people do not need their private key just use the app, that alone rings alarm bells in any crypto circle.
They state that they are in discussions with VC's however I do not seeing a VC going anywhere near any crypto where 66% has been premined. Yes this coin is probably one of those that you could own millions on but will be dead within a year!

The YouTube interview with Rice Crypto was not paid, he didn't even get Notes for it.  He liked the project and wanted to do a video so his viewers can learn more about it.  You are bashing him because he's got 1K viewers and growing is just another horrible trolling attempt.  Everyone starts somewhere and he's doing a great job, McAfee was on his channel three times, so he's obviously doing something right. 

I haven't done a second YouTube interview, not sure where you pulled that from (actually I have a pretty good idea).  The allegation that Altmarkets was hacked has only ever been perpetuated by you and nobody else, again, with over 5,000 users, you'd think someone else would notice if they were hacked. 

Our mobile app is designed for new crypto users to be less intimidating, so there is no private keys or pass phrases that might get lost or stolen.  In order to steal Notes from their mobile wallet, someone would have to steal their phone, bypass the phone's security system, then hack the 4 digit PIN for the Note app.  Which makes our wallet about as secure as an mobile banking app, and more secure than an ATM card.  There are traditional web wallets and desktop wallets using encrypted json files, passwords, and private keys available to users that are comfortable with using those tools.  But of course, you neglect to mention that.  Your attempts are as pathetic as they come. 

I hope you don't have some sort of weird Stockholm syndrome, if you hate a coin, leave, there are literally thousands to choose from.  But you keep coming back to spread falsehoods and get corrected every single time.  Iron a shirt and go outside for a bit, the sun misses you, and you might even get attention from someone in real life if you behave like a real human being. 

And also why are you still mining it with 4 or 5 ASICS?  Don't you want to mine a coin you believe in?  Most people stop putting resources into a coin if they believe it will die.

Hey, I have it sorted, mine big when below 20 GHS and dump the coin, all miners do this. Hey these are the words of some of the best scammers in Crypto, you guys really do seem like scamming tards. Argue all you like but when anyone does a search on this scammy coin this is what they will see, no useful conversation just bashing and belittling any one that asks or mentions the 55% premine. What a great asset you guys are to the project. No wonder the real market cap of the coin is less than $40 on exchanges that are dodgy at best!

Na you don't get it a coin with 55% premine will never be accepted regardless of apps ect. The point is all coins that have this type of premine fail as all devs are greedy fuckers and hope they can make a million on selling a shit coin. If the Dev of this coin stated that the premine would be burn't or in escrow for 20 years then the project would have hope. I would imagine that if a 300 to 500K buy wall was set up it would be dumped so quickly it wouldn't be funny. That is why the real market cap for this coin is less than $200

I find it funny the trade satoshi wallet goes down and every other market has massive dumps, I am sure it was only a coincidence!

A few dozen cryptos were affected on TS, but I'm sure it's no coincidence in your mind.  I'm still waiting for you to explain how you got scammed and how much you lost because of it. 

Frankly, the market and wallet only stopped when I traded and wanted to send to an exchange with a way better price, all of a sudden the wallet was in maintenance and the other exchange dumped and yes the amount I am talking about was enough to cause that. See a shit coin on 4 shit exchanges does this very easy. Yes I still believe this to be a shit scam coin on shit scam exchanges.

Oh yeah, I remember that now.  It's that time when I used my mind reading abilities to anticipate your $50 sell order on Trade Satoshi, then used my connections to stop withdraws for dozens of cryptos all at once.  Honestly, it's time to upgrade your tin foil hat to the latest version to stop these kinds of mind hacks.  I could've used those abilities to make a few million bucks on BTC, but trolling your NTBC withdraw was just higher on the priority list that day.  /shrug

I was once again going to tell you to f##k Off however maybe some intelligent conversation needs to be had. No coin with a 55% premine will ever get community support, as no one will give you any money. You see coins like this have failed many many times, however devs like you missed out on the 2017 pump and dump scams.

There were many great scammers in 2017 they had many larger scam coins like this with a simple App, a discord and several shitty exchanges

If you really believed this coin would even be half a chance you would of never allowed it to be on the 4 worst exchanges.

You say that you support small exchanges however every one that this coin is on has been known to lock coins and dump on other exchanges and also pretend they have been hacked from time to time.

So don't pretend that you are a legit developer and I am glad that at the moment the most you will ever get for your premine is about $1000.

I still can’t believe that even after 5 months of your moaning and you are still trading it, bit of a contradiction there bubba. Regarding the maintenance on TS if you looked properly into it roughly 25% of all their wallets were in maintenance as they are currently migrating to a new hardware platform. If you were a member of the community taking a non negative interest then you could have found that out. Similarly I ( Noteshi ) have now left the project for personal reasons of my own and nothing to do with the project itself and subsequently I sold all my holdings very cheaply which I will in the long term regret. Now and this absolutely pains me to agree. But I think there is a lot of thought behind the premine being in the available supply ( if you read the pitch deck properly you can see what these holdings are for officially) but yes it’s having an impact on the price / mining profit as the market cap is dictated by the 34 billion even though in hindsight the premine will be unused until the founder initiates spending as per what the pitch deck says - again these wallet addresses are very visible and you can see that they are all untouched, but I feel it needs locking in order to get the actual supply at 4 billion. Never the less your negative attitude to it all has led to you being thrown out of the community and you only have yourself to blame for that. Nothing’s stopping you from airing your views but frankly I don’t think anyone with a brain actually gives a shit what you think and you will just get unfortunately labelled as a troller, slight shame as when you joined the group you seemed like a nice guy until you had a disagreement about the premine and like a dog with a bone just didn’t let go. Now myself after leaving the team I can actually tell you that the team working on note are an amazing bunch and I would trust that they will take Note blockchain as far as it can possibly go. Secondly what you have to understand is that the Founder Ethan has spent and incredible amount of investment personally in what you see today and the future dev cycle. I for one think that at the very least that he is due this proportion back at any stage he feels necessary without any questions asked. You obviously like the project else you wouldn’t be that interested in the daily goings on and still trading, now how’s about you swallow the negativity and actually get back involved again. Life is far too short to waste time on trying to fight what you think is a scam but turns out actually to be a great opportunity. You either find out the easy way now or the hard way later when you’ve spent years of negatively slating something that turns into a better social media platform than Facebook. While I'm here, let me also point out how you think we landed on the absolute worst exchanges like Trade Satoshi, Unnamed, and Altmarkets.  All of which work great and have thousands of users with very few occasional issues, and they get fixed in a reasonable amount of time.  We listed on Hitfinex which did exit scam, but I personally reimbursed the user that lost 10M Notes on it, I wonder how many coins did that for their users.  Oh BTW, TS finished their upgrade and everything is back to normal now, but I guess you'll still call it a scam while continuing to use it, because, of course you will.  But I guess they are so much worse than Mt Gox, Cryptopia, or QuadracaCX.  But no, the ones that has Notes on it but continue to work are the absolute worst in history.  Ok bubba. 

And on the topic of the premine, I guess you never heard of a little coin called Ethereum, which has /gasp, a premine.  I guess they will never succeed if your theory is correct.  Ok bubba.

I don't know why, but I think I thought I would waste some time looking into bubba. A lot of his recent posts were about NTBC, that shows a single focused determination. NoteBlockchain started similar to any tech startup. An individual spent his dollars to create an app, build the cryptocurrency ecosystem and framework. It is okay for this person to expect a return for this dollar by looking for investors to buy a stake in the company. Replace NoteBlockChain with a social network startup that is looking for Investors? Wouldn’t that startup offer x number of shares/stock in return for investment? The 10 billion NTBC for investors is exactly that. You can always view the fixed amounts from the premine on the richlist. A year since the launch, the earmarked amounts are as-is. Even the founder’s 5 billion remains untouched.

Some people have an aversion to premine (proof: the many ANN threads on bitcointalk that say zero premine in the title). I get that, but premine isn’t necessarily a bad thing. What makes a difference between other coins with a premine and NoteBlockchain is that none of the premine is being “sold-off” in an ICO/IEO. Any avid miner/casual investor can probably mine/buy millions without breaking the bank. The day I see the initial 30 billion being transacted without transparency, that is the day I will agree with your standpoint (bubbaj). You’ll be happy in the end bubba with your investment, no matter what’s been said before it’s time to move on. The Note team will always strive to achieve the best possible outcome for the project regardless of what its price is or what it’s trading at. That will be the difference in the long term between projects that succeed and fail. People who are urgently asking questions around “when this exchange, when that exchange” typically these people are only interested in selling and making money. To some extent yes of course that’s  totally reasonable and every project however negative it sees it, needs those people too. The fact that you are mining and selling means that there are people willing to buy all be it at a price that your not happy with.

I have spoken at length with you (right here) about the premine. Ok, here is an alternative way for NoteBlockchain to have earmarked the amounts for operations/charity/founder's wallet etc. - let the amounts slowly fill up like a developer's reward in every block. A problem is that it is hard to keep track of these wallet transactions and show that the funds are being spent the way they are supposed to.

The block chain difficulty is quite the bummer. I agree with you on that one. However, it is not an insurmountable problem. We will see what can be done with it.

So the Dev is doing an OTC, the price was set at 8x lower than the average price over the last week. The dev has made it clear in the docs that the OTC has nothing to do with the company and any one investing has nothing to do with the company that is developing the social media side of this venture. My take on this is give me your money, there will be no active market and become a bag holder.

I for one think that whatever the god (Ethan) as you put it can make any decision he sees fit to develop the app to a success. As a supporter and an investor myself I’m only look at the product development, use ability and success.

Remember in crypto as a whole, no one who launches a project twists anyone’s arm to invest, that’s your decision to make by yourself. Trying to manipulate teams, devs and founders by scare mongering and increasing either your position or getting a higher price so you can sell will just not work at this stage.

People are invested in the coin and not his private company that develops his twitter knock off. Well it seems on discord I have been told that I am @hodl, the thing is I am not, my user name has been banned for months but I use the shit twitter knock off to vent at times. As per the above the dev has abandoned the actual coin hoping that his shitty social media offering will make him rich! However without a web based solution it never will.

People are getting used to the slower transactions, you are the only one making a big deal out of it.  Not only is the difficulty jacking losing money for the perp, it's slowed down coin issuance by a lot because the slow periods take many times longer.  You know what that does?  It keeps the new supply low and the price higher than if the coin was allowed to be mine normally.  If it hadn't been done, there would be another 3B coins on the market right now.

So the App has missing balances, the coin takes 1 day to solve 10 blocks instead of 30 secs per block, now the online wallets are missing balances and the dev is silent on discord, seems the the final exit scam is coming, I bet another OTC at a 95% discount to current price and then this coin will be dead, the fans will keep blaming apple and google for all missing balances. The dev was never interested in the coin only the app and was hoping that he could get enough users to sell it off. This project is dead and I bet the coin is to!
