Title: I wanted to know if there is a hodler right here?
Post by: JuggSlash on January 28, 2019, 10:34:22 AM
Crypto keeps on the bearish pattern no matter what, if there is a hodler right here from 2017 until now, you should be appreciated and get an achievement because you are doing the right thing as a hodler! Being a hodler means you supporting the coin, didn't you?

surely there's many people being a hodler here during this bearish market, but as for being a hodler from 2017 till now was not a wise decision. the end of 2017 was an ATH that will surely hard to achieve again in this year.

For me, there is nothing like a true hodler, if you  hold in this bearish season and witnessed over 200% decline since November 2018

I don’t call that supporting of a coin

In crypto currency, you need to support your income first and your capital

Simply storing your assets does not always help it, except of it's some random project which has limited volume and would lose value with regular trades.
Projects which have utility as a means of transaction or to be used on a platform would not be much affected by trades. They expect the tokens or coins to be in high demand.

Hodling means that you do not only store your cryptocurrency but as well use it and promote it.
Those who just keep the crypto for the purpose of making money out of it are simply investors.
And the lower the trading volume, the easier it is for each cryptocurrency to be subject to the pump and dump, what is even more harmful to cryptocurrencies in general.

I don't think hodling a token supports it. The best thing to do is to make it active in the market like trading or investing. But before we do that, we should know how to trade it. Trading is much better than dumping it all in a very low price. Well, we have all our strategies and decision and we have to respect that.

In my case, this means that I missed the chance to sell some of the coins at a bargain price, and now I do not see the point to sell at a loss, so I HODL))

Yeh, you're absolutely right. Holding coins means supporting this project. But why only holders from 2017? There are also more earlier investors which came to crypot in 2015 or 2016.

Those are the long time investors, I think they don't really care about the current situation of the project they're dealing with but the future of the project. And you don't find such people checking the cmc every week or month maybe years. They're the real definition of investors

Surely there are holders here who still believe that the cryptocurrency market will recover fully.
I do not see anything wrong in the fact that players do not want to give up their coins for a pittance, but are waiting for the right moment.
I think those who wait for the rise in the market will get a good result.

During a declining market holding is not the smartest solution. In my view the main purpose of investing in cryptocurrencies is having  profit and not the support of the coin.  We have to protect the value of  our holdings by trading or shorting them. Long term holding will pay off one day, but until that we should not sit and wait.

support without seeing the situation only gets praise but loses profits and this is a ridiculous act, minimizing losses is more important than surviving and losing value too deeply

I have been holding some of my tokens from January 2018 and have been patient to the project to deliver its roadmap. I think it's not a good idea to sell my tokens now and the decline of the market seem to start again. I already tried doing arbitrage and haven't make a profit. I'm just hoping the market would recover this year.

There are many HODLers here, with the hope of bull run coming to us someday.

Yes they were holding the coins support it or else they are the one going to lose money so they were left out with no other option other than holding.

Prices for our coins are not as volatile as they used to be, and the market is in a downtrend, so I also think that it is better to keep our tokens by the time the market recovers. Although I still sold some tokens, because the price was fine with me.

Less amount of investment will be holding here right now that's why the value will not increasing people are always panic with their investment while this type of situation making the more tension so holding less amount will be safer for anyone.

That's right, holding is one of the best strategy we can ever made during this time that the market isn't good. They are just being wise and i think its really good because we know that crypto can still give opportunity despite of this situation.

The market is pump and dump everyday, you can find the market have not any growth over the year, if you want to invest it now, I would like to buy the promising coins in the lowest in this time, and hold it for my long term investment, if the market recover in one day, maybe can earn the profit in the future.

There are those who play holding back and some are looking for profits every day. I also really like people who hold back from 2017. Because they believe everything will rise again. All people are of course different ways of working, some are holding back, selling and there are also those who buy and sell.

I've been holding some altcoins since 2017. Some I truly support while I'm forced to hold the others because I don't want to sell at a huge loss. To be honest, I would rather have the profits from selling some of them rather than getting an "achievement".

appreciate ?, I don't feel right we should empathize. we must feel sorry for those who are still holding on to ATH. and I think they don't seem to need this because right now they are, maybe they are disappointed because they made the wrong choice.

I can say this because I have experienced it, I think the hodl is a brave man, it turns out they are just a bunch of stupid people who are silent while watching their money burn.

I don't think that. Holders's purpose  is also profit, so they should make it before it has been lost.  Holder should have a plan to earn money for mid-term or long-term so they can sell when the price reaches their target.

But not cashing out when in profit is bad, it is not the best investment method

Crypto currency investment is more than just supporting the project

Yes, of course, that is the case it's hard to be a holder of that coin when you bought it in its peak and di not sell it until now, you are hoping that another all-time high will hit the market, let's see what this year is going to offer to us it's a make or break for those long time holders.

it is even difficult to achieve ATH in the coming years. The market is still going down and it will be sideways for many years to start a new bullish cycle. Holders from 2017 so far may have lost up to 90% of their assets, they should forget this market for a long time and do not need to follow it anymore

I think supporting a crypto is not to simply holding the coin that we had, right now the best thing to do to make the market better is to make more investment in crypto, that way will increase the demand of a coins and at the same time it will be able to pull up the price of the crypto.

I think it can be considered like that. Be holder means we help not to dump coins in market. Actually if it counted as person, only small percent from circulation. But if a lot of people hold their assets, i think it will have affect for market.

Some hodlers they do support the coin but most of them are just holding because they have no more choice but to wait for another pump so they can take profit. Its not easy to hold because your emotion is always be there to bother you and to tempt you to sold your token/coins so every hodlers are the real great supporters of cryptocurrency even if its just an accident to hold.

I don't Kno my next position is. But it's to hodl these micro cap coins for a year. The goal is a few years. Since crypto takes time. More time u give it. The better the returns.

What is your point ? I guess that you never look into this community as many forum members are claiming that they are holding since 2012 or 2014 or similar to that. For a holder, it might be very difficult if he would have entered into crypto investing by the times of late 2017 but if they have entered before 2017 then they are still in profits and holding their investment is literally not a big concern compared to other holders who are facing losses after entering into crypto investments. I guess the case of people who entered after mid of 2018, might be somewhat better still might be in potential losses.

You may go for holding a coin only when you believe into the futures of that coin. This way we hold a coin just to show our support to them. It is kind of win-win for both of them. This is not a new thing in crypto space because people are trading and holding company shares in similar manner for decades.

So by best bet would be to hold my coin for now until the market get better.

Hodler of bitcoin and ETH only but never with ERC20 tokens that takes that long.
Although I have one which was distributed at the 1st quarter of 2018 until now.

PundiX. Yes, I do trust that project and up until now they are making steps to make it more known in the whole world.

Believe us, there are a lot of holders here. They are still waiting and will wait for the price to rise. Nobody wants to lose what they have. All that remains is patience. Or you can trade in the market.

I believe that there will be the right timing on when to sell and right decision as well on until when to hold your coins and token. As for I have had my experiences of selling my assets too soon and I also have experience holding my assets too long that it had lost its value from when the time I got it which I blame myself not selling it at once.

There are Holders here, because people who bought BTC at prices in 2017, or rather, probably started in 2018, there are a lot of them and most of them have already sold BTC on a wave of panic, because this was due to the fact that most people just do not understand why and where.

Every hodler is a seller that just waits for the right time to maximize their profit. As for me, I've been holding exrn since 2017 and it's been a good experience for me. Many times I wanted to sell because of the bear market but I persisted since I believe in it's long term valuation.

I think there should be a lot of holder like I do for now because there is no point in selling without make profit and the main aim of investor is to make profit.
many investors who before starting an investment with crypto currency never understand all the risks that will be obtained in the investment only think of profits in investment if there is news or something bad happens they will panic and fear and they seek a safe way by holding back

I don't think that hodl concept is good enough. Smart investors will never hodl any asset whatever. It's a very stupid strategy during the obvious bear market IMO. What's the point to do so mindlessly?

since entering 2018 the holders have begun to scatter, because many of them are afraid of experiencing losses, indeed if anyone survives from 2017 until now it is very appropriate to be given an award, because he is able to survive in an unstable condition.

Actually, I already sell most of my cryptocurrencies in the year 2017 where the price of many cryptocurrencies are in ATH price. And now, I decided to buy some cryptocurrencies and I will hold it until the price goes up so if the price goes up again I can make more money like what I gain in the year of 2017.

Many of us have to hold the coins because we cannot sell now and we need to wait for a moment. It's because the situations that make people hold and became a holder. But it will not for a long time because the market will go up and every coin will be at the highest price again so we can make a lot of money. I am sure many people changing from the trader to be a holder, and they still wait a good moment to sell their coins.

Holding from 2017 till date would be a bad investment on average for any investor.
That means the person would have not only missed out on selling at the markets all time high, but the investor will have seen his portfolio reduce by over 3/4 of its former value.
Unless he/she has sold for some profits in 2017 and is only holding for the future

You don't need to become a proffesional traders but it's much better to sell our coin and then replace it with a potential coin. that makes sense to hold it rather than keep your portfolios with the coin has no volume that gives less volatility to create pump and dump. that gives less opportunity for you.

There are several types of people when deciding to invest, first for people who want to benefit by looking at the potential of a chosen place. Type of person like this then what they are looking for is profit, as much as any of his trust or loyalty to an investment place he chooses but he will still sell his investment when he gets the desired profit. However, seeing the price changes from 2017, I am a little unsure that investors keep holding their investment.

Then the second type is someone who chooses an investment place just to make coins or the place of investment that he chooses, still has a price or still has a stable price. Usually the type of person is like a coin developer or someone who believes that the coin will have a very high price in the next few years, but you will rarely find people of this type.

To become a holder from 2017 to present needs so much faith and courage and if you're one, you're truly brave. But I don't settle on just waiting and waiting. I am a holder but at the same time, I see to it that I still have profits while waiting for the right time, so I day-trade some of my coins.

Few holders left, no one yet understands what will happen to this or that coin in the future. Therefore, it is easier to buy it cheaper at the start of the rise than to wait more than five years and possible profits.

It base of the price you bought the coins before, for me, if I bought it in the highest price, when the market is dropped, I need to make the decision cut loss or hold it, if I bought it in the lowest price, I don't care the price is drop or rise and take it for my long term investment.

Don't think just hodling the coin ( am not sure what coin you are talking about as you posted it in alcoin discussion section) is helpful that much in supporting a coin : it'd be better using them , spreading  awareness about them, encouraging their adoption and make a daily use of them in real life would do a better job.

Throughout 2018 the price of coins declined but you did not sell the coins you bought in 2017. And what you did was a mistake because until now the price of coins has dropped significantly. Of course, if you sell coins now you will lose more money. But you must still be sure whether someday the price of the coin will soar again.

I can't wait for too long as I I am a less fortunate individual that needs money but if I am a wealthy person I think I am able to hodl for long term purposes for a much better result in the future. I think I can be considered a hodler. I am not keeping ALL my money in crypto in there but I try to earn as much as I can from crypto and keep some of it there and some of it I cash out because you know... I need to eat? So I can still be considered a hodler since I don't cash out all of my coins.

I think not cashing out is a big part of bitcoin community, we need to make sure bitcoins always stay in our wallets and only used to buy stuff and not trade for fiat. I do not understand people who trade for fiat and so forth without a need, if you need the money yeah it makes sense but if you are doing it just for profit then it makes no sense since bitcoin is itself money like dollar is and I would rather see a world where I can spend bitcoin wherever I go instead of a world bitcoin worth a lot.

I believe this is not a form of jest? Those who have decided to hold, only did that to avoid selling at loss. I personally believe that inasmuch as I am still holding my coin, even if it plummets in the market and I do not sell at that lower price, then it means I have not lost.
Then every holder should try as much as possible to trade, so that your loses can be covered through your gains in trading.

Present! I'm still holding on my tokens ever since for some reasons. First, because of the bearish market the market value of my tokens were still way below of my set price for selling. Honestly speaking, i am not aiming for a sky-high price but a value that i think will correspond to the hard work i've put to acquire those tokens. I am surely wishing for a sufficient income. Second is, i do not have the know-hows in trading seriously. And since were still bearish, i'm taking that advantage in learning even the basics of it. If suddenly the market presents a different situation, i'll be relying on the trading skills of my nephews.

Holding is cool but that's when you are holding coins belonging to projects that worth it, and also luck. Sometimes you hold coins with unique project and they end up being crappie due to mismanagement or funding issues. Examples include EEE which recently announced they are putting an end to their project, they couldn't get listed on CMC due to poor trading volumes. Please before going for long term hold, try to know the team's strength and project backings.

I am very sorry for those people who have been holding their coins since 2017 and are still hoping to sell them at a good price. After all, most of them had the opportunity to sell their coins at good prices, but they did not.

I like to hold my coins and work for a long-term buy and hold strategy, some I have been forced into holding during the 2018 Bear but I have also take the opportunity to average down wherever possible leaving me with no coins that would need to return to the ATH just to break even.

I am a holder from q4 2017. And I still invest for holding. I think holding is the one of the best investment strategy in this market. And I am very happy to do it. Holding is just not supporting one or some specific coins. It's about support the whole ecosystem. And at this moment there is many holder around this ecosystem. I think we believe in the market as long as some project. And we hope that this market will recover one day. Just keep calm don't panic and hold that it .

I've achieved things by 2017 for selling bitcoin and I'm happy to see that it's the fruits of the labor by just holding it. The profit was even higher if you're into your local stock market. As a holder, you have to determine if you're a supporter or just someone who's been there to take profits but on my side, I'm a supporter and both because it's bitcoin that I'm supporting.

I am a holder of the currencies and I hold a few cryptocurrencies right now in my portfolio some of which include bitcoin ethereum stratis and credit why? because I believe this cryptocurrencies are really undervalued at the moment and have the potential to go further and further so I hold them and sometimes I buy more in order  to prepare for what is to come in the bull market.
Ideally this is the time to buy some of the good coins or tokens because of their present low value.

For those who have bought at the peak of its price in 2017 must have to hodl their coins to prevent a greater loss. The year 2018 was a rough year and i never thought it would be too much than that including this year. A better hope is required in this market and greater patience if you want to survive with the never-ending drama of these speculators.

Well, he might be appreciated by us, but he is not proud of himself though  ;D. I am holding some coins which I was too greedy to sell as well. However, I can not say that I would be absolutely happy of that fact. Sure, someone has to hold losses in a zero-sum game of a trade (if we are taking only a single person into consideration), but I would be happier with some new cool stuff and the same amount of coins right now. Of course, it is not a bad thing to show your support towards a team that wants to change the world, but it was a mistake in the short-term as we could have seen. I have no real problem with that though, I am not quitting anywhere now as I have a lot of time reserved for wandering around  ;D(and hopefully making something out of it). As long as I am alive, I will give life a try- either in crypto or in any personal or professional space of my future life. With a single shot at life there is no time for hesitation to making a move that can not really hurt me. I am open to all of the opportunities  ;).

The real hodler will not say to anyone, he better to silent and keeps buying any profitable coins without anyone knows. They don't have to share the coin and the amount the coin because they have a plan for their life. Many of them right now has been hiding and enjoy their lives because they have much money to spend in their daily life. They will hold many coins especially for a long time and of course, they will only watching the market.

holding is the dumbest thing you can do, because this market is dead, and it will never ever recover.

Investors have lost so much money on this shitty market that they will never come back.

Hodlers here, are just telling stupid people to have faith, to believe in crypto, and hold (so that their coins don't go much worse). They are only looking FOR THEIR OWN PROFIT.

If you are a holder, your best aim right now is the recover as much money as possible from your investment. YOU´LL NOT GAIN MONEY AT ALL.

This is game over for crypto. The drama is that noone knows it yet. Except people like me that saw it coming more than 7 months ago. Search my posts if you want. Or hey, just see my signature.

It is stupid to hold through out the bull market and when the bear market kicls in the person fail to take profit, it is only a novice that will do that and not a holder. There is no need to support a project that is losing you money, no it doesn't make sense, sell at the top and buy back at the bottom

surely there's many people being a hodler here during this bearish market, but as for being a hodler from 2017 till now was not a wise decision. the end of 2017 was an ATH that will surely hard to achieve again in this year.

That's true. Dec 2017 saw the ATH of BTC (around 19000 USD) along with many other ALT coins. Those who have bought CC by mid of 2017 should have sold their holdings by Dec 2017 for maximum returns.

I see how the infrastructure for cryptoactive assets around the world is increasing daily. I see how the regulatory framework for corporate assets is constantly improving. I understand that the market will sooner or later become bullish. Why should I sell? I am a hodler. This is an experience for the next market cycle.

More holding coins from the results of the Bounty project. And from 2016 until now there are still Altcoin held. This is done because indeed the price of coins does not rise and even coins have no selling value. But for coins like Bitcoin and Altcoin that are already on the stock, of course, they have been sold because coins, if owned too long, are very risky.

Yes, I am among the hodlers of the coins, but it is believed that the support of the coin depends on trading in the markets at all times and buy and sell and not hodl them for the long term and at this time when the coins have a big drop must become everyone hodling, so that the day does not come when coins prices are rise and you lost everything at the time of duping.

Not always holding coins in the long run can provide profit certainty, for that we must be able to see price movement situations so that we can use the right opportunities to sell or buy crypto. everyone who invests in crypto, of course, hopes to benefit from investment, for that if there is no profit, don't sell, but also don't be too greedy by always holding coins, which ultimately suffer losses.

Lots of people are holding several coin, this because of the bearish market. Why would anyone hold a coin since 2017 and not take profit, till 2019 , i think the reason should be greed. I believe people holding coins are people who got in 2018 ,most people even regretted holding, because till date, prices haven't recovered. The truth is, continue holding till the bullish season, because selling now will be a waste of effort.

selling will be a waste of energy if you are not a professional trader. In that case, you really should just hold your coins and wait for the growth

I am pretty sure that if you are a holder since 2017, you suffered so much up until today. There are advantages and disadvantages of being a holder but there should be a limit or specific time how long you will keep these coins right? Being a wise investor and holder should always be applicable at all times. I dont think that these long time hodler should feel proud about themselves since they missed too much opportunities and frustrations because of the bearish market.

Right now it's the right way to be a hodler. The market is constantly falling and there is no point in taking away. The market is not allowed to revive and it is not right to hurt. You have to wait and be patient. I do not think that 2019 will be very good. That's why I'm gonna try to keep my hands as much as possible.

I continuing to hold my bitcoins not just people told, I continuing to hold it because I'm aware to advantages and benefits that I can get from it. I know that the bitcoin will overcome this bear market and will come back to its high price.

I have sold some of my bounties at losses since I haven't earned anything last year. However, I was able to keep some at the moment and planning to wait for the narket to recover.

That's the best options for everybody to do right now, and since fluctuations in market right now still changing it's not good to dump coins with higher potential because if you'll regret losing it during recovery time. Bigger profits awaited us when greener market took over the dominance, that's why don't get bothered if sometimes we see such volatile situation of the price. That's only a part of a growing crypto economy.

so you are saying that only pro traders can sell ? what about us ? what if we need a cash ? what if there is a price hike ? we can sell our coins as soon as we want and no one can stop us even if we are not professionals or expert on this kind of business .

but hodling coins and waiting for the growth is also a good idea especially on the current market that we have right now  .

if there is a hodler right here from 2017 until now, you should be appreciated and get an achievement because you are doing the right thing as a hodler!

agree . they are the real heroe's because they help the price to become stable and to not go down .

not all times . some hodler are only holding because of the potential profit that they can get in the future but they didnt care about the crypto's real worth  .

I am sure right now, and there are too many holders because we are in the same situations in the market. We cannot do anything except still holding bitcoin and altcoin but soon if the market can change to the big green candle, I am sure that is the time for us to sell any coins that we have. We become a holder because of the longest bear market since the last year, and we do not decide to sell any coins because it will make us getting lose of the money.

Of course, you do not need to sell crypto assets at such low prices. Another thing is when money is urgently needed and then a person will not have to sell a cryptocurrency.

I think many people still hold their token and coin because wont sell it at cheap price. Market drop more than 90% last year and its better sell it when the price recover again. Hold is good strategy if we holding a good coin with good product.

It's not the question of rightness of being a hodler I think. It's a question of finance only. If you entered the market on its highs in 2017 then you can sell everything now and a huuuuge loss or you just can sit and wait till the next bull run. It's like a trap for all those greedy people (read "investors") who though they would be rich in a few month))

OMG, why do you think i should sell off my valuable coins due to the long bear market? I have learnt great lessons from the early adopters of Bitcoin who out of impatience exchanged their Bitcoin for candies, pizza, and other loss costly stuffs. Mate, I'm not going to repeat that history. I'm optimistic about this market and i will hold till the bull market happens even if it takes 20 years.

A lot are still probably holding from 2017 because they've lost so much. Most of the time, people invest because they are expecting a profit, if they missed the chance, they would hold to avoid losses when selling. There's a difference between a supporter and a holder.

many have lost because the market has gone down a lot and has long experienced this condition. of course they hope the market will recover to benefit from it. many of them fled with these conditions and many are still waiting for the market to recover. Now the market looks better, hopefully it will improve, you have to wait.

Yes, I am one of the hodlers. I’m not ready to sell yet, cause I have plans to keep on holding my cryptocurrency till the end of this year.

I am even ready to wait till next year, cause to be honest I knew very well that there is not going to be any bull run last year. I can remember that someone predicted on Twitter that all these things are going to happen and that the price will even drop down to $3k+. According to his analysis, the price will go up before the end of this year, if not, then we should be looking forward to next year.

There is need to understand the market trend. We all became holders of different Tokens and coins because that was the only option we had as at then and it became like that because the bear market took us unaware because I am sure nobody will want to wait since 2017 till date hoping for a rise but we keep seeing red almost all the time. If truly there was nothing like bear market, then the word hodlers won't be in existence at all. I think

This is a good illustration of it. Imagine buying Bitcoin at $19k and now Bitcoin is barely $4k. So who then will want to lose his or her money? Eventually nobody, so we all became holders. So we HODL in anticipation of the fact that we might get 100% from the price and value we bought from. I still believe a time will come when we will experience this but it will take time to manifest.

True holders who hold their coins for long periods of time must get maximum achievement for years to survive, because it is not easy and they are able to overcome all obstacles. Waiting for the right time to sell, as long as the market recovery and maybe this month or next month is still difficult to ascertain, don't let them miscalculate.

I am both hodling, day trading and investing and also do some promotional videos for bounties and payments. So I work in this space in different ways. I think holding is very difficult for the short term unless you hold a lot of one coin or token and then it suddenly moons in value, which could make you a very good amount of extra money indeed. Now I am holding only three coins long term and will add more as I start to turn over a profit in the trading area and my robot also earns more more income than just covering living expenses. I have set a short term target to reach 2k USD in February income form Crypto sources. If I can achieve this kind of income then I will be bear market proof.

Become holders it doesn't mean we support the coins, because if you wrong take coins I believe bankrupt will be yours. In simple explanation holders is saving trust into project and hope big return ( profit ), supporting coins not only become investor because trader and marketing ( bounty hunter ) also support coins in different part. I hold some coins from the beginning of this breakdown. I personally believe that was one of my bad decisions. It's very low than the previous now. But I still hold them because of the project going very well and actively. Actually hold is not help the project. It's only good for us if the coin price rises over time. Trading and investing are the things which help the project.

Crypto keeps on the bearish pattern no matter what, if there is a hodler right here from 2017 until now, you should be appreciated and get an achievement because you are doing the right thing as a hodler! Being a hodler means you supporting the coin, didn't you?

Yes, i agree on that i am a holder too. If you believe in your token you must wait till its progress because a potential token can give you good profit in the near future. Even me i hold this token for almost a year already and i dont have regrets holding this token because it benefits me somehow.

There is no reward for supporting and hodling, unless the coin is stakeable. Neo will reward you with GAS tokens so hodling that is good even when the price drops

Yeah, am one of the hodlers but not from 2017 why because 2017 is a very far year and I must say that, a token one is hodling from 2017 must be a very prosperous token and such must have believe deeply in the coin.

If you hold coins from 2017 until now, of course, you lose a good opportunity. As at the end of 2017, the price of Crypto is very high and that is the best time to get rich. But sometimes people are not easily satisfied with the results they get so they continue to hold coins until now. But we must respect this because they also still believe in Crypto.

I think there are a lot of hodlers because many investors missed to sell their coins in last bullrun. So they are waiting for the next opportunity when the market will rise again. I am also a long term hodler of coins which will have hopefully a bright future.

Being a holder of bitcoin since 2017 till now despite the prevailing market conditions means that that person has great faith and confidence in the Cryptocurrency market.
And this is a great attributed we all should try and imbibe for the good and betterment of the Cryptocurrency market.

Of course there are alot of hodlers. For me, i already accepted that i need to wait longer than i thought at first. But why would i sell anything at this point? Crypto market will be recovered eventually. So i’ll be waiting.

As a believer and Investors, we will wait for the market recovery because we know what we have invested and how much potential they are going to be once the market starts recovering. Till now we have waited for more than a year now and still, there is a huge chance for us to make more money in the coming days once the Bitcoin price starts increasing.

Hodl means to keep the coin with the belief that in the future it will bring greater success than now, thereby supporting the product!

I'm a holder and I love to hold because I really believe that there is a pump between the stable market in just 1 month or 2 months.

I don't think holding a coin is supporting him. You provide support to the coin, if you trade it or hold a master node, engaged in mining. Only in these cases you provide real assistance in the development of the project. When you are just a coin holder, you just want to earn on it.

The holder will wait for the right moment to sell their coins, and they can be patient although they need to wait for a long time. They don't want to sell any coins if the price does not increase in the high price and they will still hold many coins until the time arrived. But if you decide to want to be the holder, you need to have the power to control your emotion especially if the market still doesn't show any sign of changing into the bull market.

done correctly or not, we do not know because it has not been proven. maybe if the market has returned high you will be rewarded with good results, remain optimistic and always believe, if someone who has tried hard and is always patient will surely get commensurate results so you have to keep up the spirit. Cryptocurrency can still yield results, so wait because the market will soar.

Of course, many of us are holders here, it would be really non sense to sell all of my coins I have, why would I do that?
We should hold until the price is at least the same, but why to sell without profit.
It's up to you.

What's next? I see that there are real Holders, but what will happen next? What can you say about this? I still believe that today people will still stick to their ideas and will not sell. And it is right!

Yes, I keep the coins and sell, only as a last resort.  I believe in the imminent turnaround of the market and continue to work in the bounty.  I keep a lot of different coins, but mostly top.

I think that the use of any coin most supports the coin itself, and long-term retention still belongs to the category of investment, and although you still show that you believe in the project, but the result is not quite the same.

I doubt there will be holders from 2017 and even if they exist, they will be few. 2018 came as a beg surprise and shocker and it shook traders beyond imagination

Being a holder means that you supporting the price. You are not helping the coin to grow because you are not doing anything. You are not using it, programming it, promoting it. So no, you are not here to help the coin  ;D.

I personally know a few hodlers from 2017, but those dudes are totally nuts. They got into loans to buy crypto right before the fall of 2017-2018 and now they are deep down, so there is nothing more to do for them than to hodl and wait to get out with 0% gains when the opportunity comes again.

I am not a holder from 2017. I started holding crypto from early 2018 though I bought some at late 2017. But at that moment I do a lots of trade cause I was new at that time and was thinking about how to increase my portfolio. It did not go well. So I started to research and after some times I decided the holding is better for me till I don't understand the whole trading senerio. I think when you invest and holding some coins that means you are supporting that project and not only the project the whole cryptosystem market and the market conditions. At this moment I have enough hope in cryptosystem and I have no regret for holding.

An all times hodler shouldn't be a good option. You should know when to hodl and when to sell. I mean hodling just to support the coin is not a good thing, the coin is not in love with you and neither you should be in love with it.

The bear market have successfully forced everybody (especially those without the knowledge of day trading)  into holders because the value of all cryptocurrency are now down. So if you decide to sell off your coins, you won't get your initial investment and you will also lose out on the future profits when the bull run happens.
The best decisions to make now is to hold your altcoins and don't panic sell and panic buy.

I assume most of the users of this forum if they are still active are hodlers. Meaning they are still interested and active in the crypto industry, by reading this forum and finding more information.
Being a hodler means for most long term contributor.
