I think that depends on the market situation, and the amount of capital that each trader has. if the owner of a large capital I think daily trading can be done with a profit of 2-10%. Long-term trading can also be combined with daily trading by holding coins stable and having large volumes.

Its easy to trade in this kind of market where everything is going up, the only thing you need to know is when the market dips. When somehow you see its oversold, you buy and then sell when you see its overbought. This sometimes doesn't work much for me though but i kept trying which my success rate is fairly good. If you are a holder then just keep holding.

There are many trading strategies, from candlesticks formation and patterns to momentums ' indicators and fundamentals analysis to sentimental views. The most important thing about this is that you can learn all this strategies and used them as the market conditions enable you.  I trade commodities and oil before and there is no much different from what we are seeing in cryptocurrency market now than oil market during the oil boom. You should endeavour to spend sometime in learning and developed a strategy that you think can put money in your pocket.

Hey guys, what kind of trading strategy do you use? and Why? What's the effectivity rate?
There are three strategies :

  • Fundamental Strategy : A passive strategy, when you only see Bitcoin from factors like total supply, halving process, etc. It's the easiest one when you can simply buy and leave for long time. It can be best way to play safe and for long-term investment, unfortunately you can't accumulate your Bitcoin through this strategy.
  • News Strategy : This is semi-active strategy, you need news to act properly. Bad news give negative effect, good news gives positive effect. Just take the best momentum and earn your profit. This is actually good for mid-term investment. If you are a bit busy in real life you can use this strategy.
  • Technical Analysis Strategy : This one is an active strategy, you must keep your eye on the charts everyday, every hour, every minute to be able to find an opportunity to earn profit. This strategy is the hardest one but could be the best to accumulate your Bitcoin with your profit.

From those three strategies, currently I use the first one as it is the simplest one and take my time less so that I can use my time more for real life business.

I also use the first one, I trade very often and I just accumulate bitcoin since the bear-market started. I am not actually good at technical analysis that is why the best option for me is just to stick with the first option. Whenever I earn something I put some of my extra money in crypto and diversify for a long-term purpose.

My main strategy applies the cost-average effect. Building up positions by averaging the buying price to a reasonable level.

If you have a trading pattern that work for you, please stick to it. You can be a scalper, intraday trader or swing trader but hold tightly to technical analysis.

A scalp trader is the type that does not stay long in the market after a trade has been ordered, it can be within 1-5/15 minutes.
An intraday trader is a daily trader and
A swinger stays longer in the market usually more than a day.

So, it depends on what works for you, check if it is profiting you.

I think no one share the personal trading strategy, But if you want to invest in trading platform you must prepare the one year results then top altcoins pump and dump. Because direct investment make loose in trading but current market is growing well so you invest Bitcoin or promising altcoin surely you will earn good profit.

I think that depends on the market situation, and the amount of capital that each trader has.
But if a trader is a well experience he can still manage to get profit though it's just small.

Quote
Long-term trading can also be combined with daily trading by holding coins stable and having large volumes.
This is the safest, by far.

Scalping techniques are fast trading, and you have to monitor them at all times.
Indeed fast yet risky especially for beginners. So try at your own risk.

Personally, I prefer the long term HODLING strategy since it has always helped me earn healthy profits in the long run through minimum stress.

When I do engage in day trading on rare occasions, I prefer scalp trading over swing trading since the risk seems to be lower in this case which is why I always recommend scalp over swing trading.

Hey guys, what kind of trading strategy do you use? and Why? What's the effectivity rate?
I buy low from the demand zone (which normally is resistance turned support) and then sell high from the supply zone (support turned resistance). I am able to determine this through Price Action (PA). I am more of a TA (Technical Analysis) trader. I must confess it's a very rewarding way of trading even though it isn't that easy identifying these zones and knowing the trend.

It all depends on each traders we have different types of trader some prefer to do a quick trade but others prefer for a long term ,
So you should only decide for your own strategy and look for what suits well.
But right now I prefer to do a quick trade just make a small profit and roll again .

Honestly, I have never determined which strategy to trade because I usually trade by adjusting to market conditions, if possible for the short term, I usually take it. but if not I usually wait and keep holding.

I don't know what kind of strategy is this but here's what I do:
1. I bought a crypto of my choice
2. If it reaches 3-5% I'll sell it immediately
3. If the price falls I will just let it sit on my wallet until I reach 3-5% profit.

That's what I did, I don't know what I'm doing but I'm happy with this kind of trading that I did. If anyone can give suggestion I would happily appreciate it.

Scalping is very effective if we are in focus in our trades, yet it could be difficult if you are just doing this as a part-time. It will be a big struggle for starters when they don't have knowledge in crypto cause even we apply basic trades will require our deep understanding of the current situation.
Never look trading will just an easy job but to have commitment and focus will help it out from losing into a profitable trader.

Hey guys, what kind of trading strategy do you use? and Why? What's the effectivity rate?
The effective rate should be at the bottom rate, it can be determined when there was a coin that gets a huge decrease in its price. I don't have a special strategy but just try to take the main key like put some money as my reserved funds to create take my chance when the price was dipping. The effective rate just speculation and that depends on how the technical analysis of such coin.
To anticipate the bottom is always become my main strategy in many cases and this is a must to get into my rocket that will bring me to a lot of profit.

Among the rest its better to hold if the price of altcoins continue to pump and hold it. So its better to sell early if you know the price get dropping by a little bit.

Hey guys, what kind of trading strategy do you use?

I buy and hold for a long time.

and Why?

if you buy for the price of  $8000 and are willing to hold for 2 years, you will not have headaches if the price drop to  $5000 for example.

What's the effectivity rate?

it is very difficult to estimate this, but hold has already proved to be a very profitable long-term "strategy"

I can not say mine a "strategy" like the technical analysis people do because mine involves very little but mine has worked out for me so far so I can say I am happy with it.

Right now, we are in a bull market and the price is going up so I am definitely happy with what I have right now but before this all started bitcoin was more of a trend trader. That means it went down to a price and it went up to a price and then moved between those prices constantly, for example 3400-3500 prices and 4200 price was a trending price and I followed that, you let it happen once and when you learn what the bottom is you buy from there and you sell from the top and repeat that, if the price goes even lower you buy a bit more from your income, if it goes even higher you let it go up (just like what I am doing right now).

I'm not really fan of holding since I know that I lost some of the opportunity to earn, what I do is either I do a day trading for a less profit but less risk or I do a swing trade wherein I'm taking advantage on the swings of the market no matter it's a bull or bearish market.

We all have different types of strategy we use but It depends on how much your investment is/ What type of coin is it/ or depends on the market status.

Mine is the same but the profit can not be higher than 5% when i focus on a small amount of money, and usually more profit when the market is in uptrend and i sell quickly when the profit higher than a little 5% but when the market falls, i wont let my assets drop more than 7%, maybe now the percentage maybe low, but i believe when i already have enough the experience, i will increase the fund to have better profit.

Personally my preference is using candlestick patterns on mt4 platform for my trading strategy irrespective of any fundamental news that can influence any price movement candlesticks have varieties of reversal or continuation patterns eg bullish or bearish engulfing bars, hammers or pinbar all these with a moving average indicator will to a large extent predict price movement without those colourful lagged indicators that fails in most trades.

You can do that only if you have good knowledge with those coins inside the market, if you can chase those moving coins you'll be able to get something that produced up to 10% a day or a week from your investment, keep learning your skills and benefits.

I mostly swing trade with medium leverage. I've never been good at daytrading and trading in extremely low time-frames, but swing trading's been the sweet spot for me considering I don't have a lot of time to trade in the first place. Some days I get good profits and some days I lose a little bit, but I've mostly been coming out on top recently as I've been longing the rise up we've had in the last few weeks.

Indeed, of course the strategy will depend on conditions, so you cannot target profits like 2% -10%, instead of more profits than you can adjust your strategy to market conditions. if condition market is bullish of course we will hold more and more wait until the highest price before price falls to sell it. that's the strategy that I'm doing right now, waiting for a signal when the price will fall, by seeing the candlestick on the graph.

Hey guys, what kind of trading strategy do you use? and Why? What's the effectivity rate?

Depends on what kind of trader are you.
For example, if you are an altcoin trader you can just buy at the dip, hodl for awhile until it pump and sell at your target price.
Another one is a swing trader, a scalper or a margin trader in which the strategy is to use some indicators to predict where the market will go and to enter and exit the market in the right timing.

But let me remind you that we shouldn't forget to achieve emotional strategies like taking away the greed and to have a very positive mindset. That works really well in trading.

usually i believe in my own trading experiences when having experiences can help us in trading skills, by many times, using time on trading and invest small money days by days, we can have small profit but that is safer when we loss, from that we can increase money in the future when we have some experiences with cryptos, moreover, don't be greedy because that can get you loss the profit.

For me,i usually buy the dips and sell high.I am a long term trader and so i believed that it's still the most profitable strategy in trading.Although i trade for short term whenever i see a positive condition of the market, but i guess there is still huge profit in long term trading even if it will take quite a long time to generate profits.

It is good to see different answers here and some have great ideas.

I dont use scalping or any kind of trading techniques. I just merely rely on my own prediction or the news of what token I am trading.
Depends on the outcome of what upgrades they are doing or their choices.

Monitoring hourly is also one of my techniques. Manual trading only. Just going back and forth the exchange and putting the token that I am trading in my favorites to keep them on track.

Just that and still I got some successful trades which could profit like 20-100 USD a week which is enough for me. I am not much of a greedy person.

Buying and selling in a day regardless of the price move in my favor or not. Early in the morning I buy at the open price and set the selling price above the open price to make few profit percent, if night my trade is still not hit, I sell out regardless of the loss. With many times in a month, I can make something to cover the losses or breakeven

sometimes i will see the movements that happen on the same day and i will buy when i know of the next move through candlesticks, although this method is less effective to gain profit if we do not have the skills in it, but as long as we are patient the price will go up to sell then it will be a good profit, it will make us keep checking the market at any time so we have the opportunity to buy and sell at the right time

I like your strategy because the strategy is very simple and easy for everyone to do. the most important thing at that time is not to expect to get big profits because it will actually make our difficulties. it's better to look for small profits but coins sell rather than looking for large coins we don't sell well.

Hey guys, what kind of trading strategy do you use? and Why? What's the effectivity rate?
There is not really any kind of strategy that you should stick to and follow that will prove to be successful every time, at first i thought that trading crypto was just all technicalities and strategies, but it is unpredictable and volatile that you need to be able to adjust and make decision based on how the market moves and that is something that keeps you on edge and if you stick to one way of doing things you will end up losing more than you will be wining, so strategies should move as the market moves.

Holding is one of the best strategy which work for me for a long time now and I can say that I have made more than 100 percent from my investment. Though not many people can hold for a long time before the need for the money to come up and they ended up selling after a while.
Holding is different when you are in trading,  traders will find way in order to generate profit unlike of holders will just wait for the moment that price of a certain coin that they are holding will pump and then sell. No strategies needed, but for trading it will never work that easy, we really need those effective strategies and so we will succeed.

All depends on the target, circumstances and needs and there are only two choices, trading in the short and long term.

and if you need quick income because of your needs, you will trade in the short term with methods and analyze market movements and make purchases when prices are low and only wait for prices to rise in a short time according to the target and resold, arguing that it is profitable.

and for those who do the trading method in the long run, most of them have regular jobs or regular income, because they don't need it in a short time and want maximum profit even if they have to wait long to sell it again.

and now I am doing the second method of doing long-term trading and the results are very profitable and only require strong patience and are not tempted by prices that I find unsatisfying.

In trading before deciding on a strategy I first look at the market situation, if the market situation rises, I prefer to wait for correction, and vice versa

My strategy is very different from the others, it is not based on technical analysis, maybe a little, but I like to analyze the market and know what stage of the market it is, if it is in trend, if it is in accumulation or distribution , I know now that we are in accumulation, this usually takes some time because it can be seen days, months, years, depending on how the graph looks.

When I have defined the eta in which it is, I'm getting closer in terms of time, that is to say I analyze it to days, I check the volume, I also check other platforms that can see the volume by the different main Exchanges, to see which way it can Go the market if down or up.

My strategy is not to predict, but to wait for some important movement to enter and take position, after that, I make decisions if the movement I put it to days or hours, normally I like to days until the movement occurs.

My technical analysis starts from what I think the market can do after the reaction, there I start to make some movements but not with stripes or triangles, I am the one who thinks that does not work.

There's a lot of strategy for trading, but if you are new in trading, try to learn first the strategy of support and resistance. Like, identify first the supports and resistance then try to trade on breakouts. That's the basic I used now with the combination of Fibonacci retracement and RSI. I use Fibonacci retracement when I will enter the trade and exit the trade.

Additional study the different patterns in the chart, I am using this guide for chart patterns: https://babypips.com/learn/forex/how-to-trade-chart-patterns

Best strategy, the sweetest of it all is what you are using, at least, you can still boast of something to keep the day on no matter how little it is, but the only extra thing I just added to mine is to still have a portion of my fund for long-term trading that I don’t touch at all whether the price is fluctuating or not.

That one can class me among long term holders that will take big profit in future, while intraday trade still gives me the opportunity to make money on a daily basis by buying low and selling high. Although it is easier for those who can trade to follow this strategy than those who doesn’t know how to trade.

Simply apply the basic system which is buy and low then sell at high. If you do this tactics I am very sure that you can earn once you do it in the actual trade. If you see that the price is more than you purchase, that's the time for you to sell your coins. Then, once the price down rapidly that's the time to buy then hold again,

I always set a goal whenever I buy a coin even if I plan to hold the coin for a long time, I still set a goal but it depends on how long do I plan to hold. For long term holding, I set a goal of at least 20% profits then I let go. For day trading I set a goal of only 2% and as soon as I reach my goal, I sell right away.

Just make a profit, sell at any price can help you make good money when trading. I think that psychological control is very important because it greatly affects your investment strategy so before you join trading you have to be in the best state because it will help you a lot when market turns red. Of course not everyone can do this and very few people can make good money when day trading

This is the most basic strategy when trading but to be able to do that, you must have a great understanding in this market because the fluctuations of the coin can affect your profit. I think making an intelligent strategy is also an idea to take now because it will help you better control your assets. I personally believe that when the market enters the period of uptrend, it will be an opportunity for you to apply what you have learned

We can say it's basic but not eveyone can apply that successfully though. We all know that buying high and selling low is the main point of making trades but how you determine that can be a lot more challenging. There are times when i feel like taking time to study the market movements and try to see if it can day trade. Most of the time though i adopt the simpliest strategy, look for a coin that's on a downward trend, buy and then hold until it recovers. I usually use binance so i feel confident about the coins i choose there.

That is the basics lesson in any trading and not just in cryptocurrency trading. As long as you can get a low price, then you should not worry, and you only need to wait for the price to reach the price you want so you can sell it right away. Trading will be a good way to earn money especially trading cryptocurrency because we have so many options to buy the coin and from that coin, we can earn money, and if we can repeat the process, then we will make a big profit later.

I've been trading for months now and can't really tell the strategy I'm using, I've been looking to this market as a gambling where in I invest to a coin and when I feel its crashing then I sell it rather than waiting for this to continue my losses and invest to a new coin for a new opportunity. So far what I'm doing is a swing trade where in once I see some coin dumps I bought it and waited for few more days and earn little by little.

Well, buying low and selling high is always a common goal of everyone, effective of this strategy is probably that people have understood it too clearly but use will not be simple, we will need to choose the appropriate market entry time, a small error in the selection process can still make us waste time. And if we want to optimize this strategy, we should focus on the top coin, the coins that have a stable recovery, that could be bitcoin, eth, should not choose ripple, when the return of these coins is in need of a long time

The strategy has always been the best among them all. Invest in the down run when the cost of investment is the lowest and once you have done that, you do not need to trade it for low profit in the crypto market. You could make it big and big if you try to HODL in the bullish market. That being said, try to prefer high long term profits in the bullish market and not the low quick profits.

Yea I agree that we shouldn’t be late in making decision and at the same time we should not be too quick at making decision. We just have to be careful not to use emotion in trading, I think we have to rely more on using technical analysis with fundamental analysis, because naturally, making decision on a trade is something that is not so easy.

Just like what happened to me recently, I wouldn’t say I was too late in making decision buying bitcoin at $8k after waiting to see the price dump from $8200, but shortly after I bought at $8k, the price deepened more, which means I was too quick in making decision without reading my Technical analysis.

When I'm starting, I spend 4-5 hours a day watching the charts because I tried to get a profit in just minutes but I see it very stressful so I stop it after a few weeks. Now I'm doing the buy and hold where I will just hold a coin until my target selling price has reached. This will give me lesser profit but it has lesser risk too. I'm not an expert trader so I'd prefer holding while doing short trades.

I use a short-term method, now I only have capital, around 2 eth. from this little capital, I can only get a little profit, but it promises when prices are going up like this. more or less like in general, my daily target just get a minimum profit of 5% per day from total capital. can be more but not less.
This is also one of my suggestions for you. no matter how much your capital, the key is not to be too greedy when trading. stop when you have reached the daily profit limit.

I did the trading method the first way, because it proved with me and I only bought it when the price was low and affordable and then held it long to wait for the highest price and sell it.
I consider investing in the long term as a promising future savings in an unspecified time, on the grounds that I have a permanent job that meets my needs.

I still prefer to go on long term holding for now with my bitcoins and do some day trading with some of my stable coins and when the market also is in a good condition. I see that your strategy is pretty common , long  term hodling and trading . That strategy can work on all people because others love to trade while other love to invest or hodl  . The only difference is the peoples mindset , some are patient enough to continue what they do without getting bored to early while some are impatient and will prefer to sell even at a loss  . I dont trade so i dont have my own strategy but i do invest . My strategy is also common , that is to buy low and sell high   .

By holding your coins you would be able enough to reach out at your desired market price where you want to sell it and get the profit. But all this will happen only if you an active trader who checks the price movement hourly and stick to the market. By watching and analyze the charts or price movement will help you out to make decisions which will be in your benefit only if you are good at dealing with it.

I remember myself years ago when I am addicted to spending with charts and tried every different method and tried different indicator ;D. I even tried also to trade the scalping method that I keep watching every price action within a minute. I realized that it is very time-consuming and I lost also a lot of BTC before since I am a newbie and don't have any risk management.

This is only applicable when the market tends to rise and it is easy to earn 5% per day if you have a smart investment strategy. Now is the opportunity to change your life so apply the strategies you have learned but also be careful because the market is always changing and it can make you have a big loss if you don't monitor the market situation in a few hours

I'm still scalping+holding a long term coins that I deem good.

I don't know what is this was called, but I remember a "spot" where certain coins fall in support. I just buy at that price and sell a quick bounce.

I'm still at that phase, scalping with BB 5M low time frame..It's time-consuming because the "dip" only happens under 10 sec. So you must act fast and always have a plan when shit happens.

It is not so much the effectiveness rate, you can not see the trading in that way because if you see it like this the probabilities of losing are many, in my case I only apply to 3 open trading, which are a few days, because I consider the scalping is very risky and you have to have a lot of capital to do and have good profits.

However, of the 3 trading I do, that is, I open 3 positions, within which I place my profit margin and margin of losses, if I make 3 successful trading is the best, if I fail in 2 it does not matter, because with at least 1 trading that does well recover what was lost in the previous positions.

My strategy is based on studying the market following the theory of Wyckoff, and following the ideas and advice of Livermore, if I understand the market, there is no need to follow chartist figures or follow indicators of technical analysis, I only use few tools. It could be said that the success rate is good with respect to what should be done, since the balance is always positive.

I like your style mate, there is no point killing oneself over what is too difficult for one, it is really not so easy to read those chart, and imagine after carefully reading those chart for hours, you then still end up making a wrong move either through entry point or exit point.

I think it is much more safer to just buy these coins and hold, we don’t have to wait till eternity to get profit like you said, once we get the little profit we can get in a short time, we can pull out to use that profit for a real life project in a mini way, then continue looking for another good dip to buy later for a long term holding.

It can be very annoying sometimes when ones sees the hours spent on watching chart compared to the hours spend on trading and the sad thing is that while watching the chart, there are so ma y opportunities that one would see have passed before making any decision.

It is very common with traders, and I see people who talk of scalping easily as if it is that easy to scalp, out of 10 opportunities in a day, you will even realize that you may not successfully scalp more than twice. IT was because of this reasons that I engaged the service of BOT which has been very useful for to me  for a while now.

Hey guys, what kind of trading strategy do you use? and Why? What's the effectivity rate?

I usually do day-trading which focuses on accumulating small accruements of profit but with high-volume. I utilize my relatively small capital to acquire small gains but with consistency on results. I would rather lose a series of trades than on one big trade due. I prefer the market being highly volatile as it makes my trades skyrocket depending on the timing.

Holding is also another type of strategy but mainly focuses on the long-term aspect. Many people prefer this kind of strategy but the accumulation of profit is relatively slow especially when you focus on gaining. There is lots of opportunities wasted on this kind of strategy. That is why I usually do 2-3 types of investment strategies and HODL is part of it.

Hey guys, what kind of trading strategy do you use? and Why? What's the effectivity rate?

I am more particular with the sure trading strategy where i put some margins on coins i buy. If that particular coin reach that goal i wait more until it stops increasing and sell if it reached another line. With this i can minimize loss because i believe that small earnings will turn big if gathered together.

Of course this is a common strategy used by the traders and investors and it has always paid off. In addition, in crypto, this strategy often is underestimated because when the price is down, the market is also bearish and then people think it is not worth investing in the coins which is why they let go the low price opportunity and invest latter on when the price rises.

I often use manual trading strategies, with several indicators,
but the core is that I always use the trend line.
without a trend line I will find it hard to determine whether the coin is a breakout or not.

This strategy you mentioned is not that so simple too as you think, it is actually very simple when we think it or read about it, it is also easier to perfect the trade in our mind than what happens in real life, when in real trading, buying low and selling high also becomes something that we struggle with from time to time.

We find it difficult sometime to really decide the best time to buy when the price is fluctuation and after we successfully buy, then comes also the difficulty in know when to sell, except we just want to be picking tiny profits that makes no sense at the end of the trade.

There are many kinds of trading strategies and most of it are already mentioned in this thread but the most important is you should try to select strategy that fit for your trading style. I often use technical and fundamental strategies because I'm already used to this two. I'm also a swing trader because I have no time to watch my trades on a hourly basis like scalping. Swing trading is a style of trading that attempt to capture gains over a period of few days to several weeks.

I am into forex trading and I do not any fixed trading strategy to take a trade. I think a static trading strategy is not so effective so I always trade dynamically. First of all I see what does the bigger trend is saying, is it at saturation point or still trending then I go to lower TF to check if there is no resistance/support nearby and then the lowest TF to take a trade. Pls not a bigger trend can contain many small trends but small trends must follow the bigger trend only. If bigger trend is bearish then try to find good selling opportunities on lower TF , if bigger trend is bullish then look for buying opportunities on lower TF.

People hurry to make profit, when you hurry you make more mistakes. So my trading advice for others is take it easy and slowly, don`t be greedy. Little profit is better than no profit or loss. That`s the first thing you should learn, to control yourself and your money. Second, maybe more important is never trade with all of your money, all in is always risking a lot and if you don`t succeed you will lose your amount pretty fast. Divide your bankroll, diversify, always have an exit plan.
When you are going slowly you will have time for learning, time to notice some things and see what others are doing.

We should set realistic amount it can reach or at least be updated on the price movement to know if we can cut loss or if still good to go. Don't be greedy apply what you research and what you set when price occurs.

The only strategy that I use is to stick to my plan of gaining only 1.5% to 2.5% profits in every trade. I don't aim for anything higher than that because I might fall to a trap like and end up holding a high priced coin. I know that price of BTC and Altcoins recovers when it drops but it may take quite sometime for it to happen. I am not a fan of long term holding.

I am not good in daily, weekly and monthly trading as my resources and knowledge in these type of trading is not that good yet. But for several years in crypto community, I learned how the market works therefore I decided to proceed with long term investments.

I hold the coins that I trust and most of them are in top 10, I usually stored them once the price goes down and I will release them once I saw that bull run is almost in the top. The only strategy that I use in this type of trading is only my knowledge about the market, the market is only up and down then vice versa.

My trading strategy has always been very simple. I try to make use of the down cost of investment offered by the bear market. The general perception is that it is very risky to invest in crypto when the market is bearish but to be honest, that is actually the time when you enjoy the low cost of investment and if you are able to minimize your cost of investment, you are the real businessman. So I love to take away profits as soon as they are above my set limit.

If you really want to take advantage of small price change from time to time, I think bitcoin would be the best bet, just that scalping really require dedication because in the process of taking small profits often, one very big loss could wipe away all the profits taking which makes no sense and it will be like a waste of time, which makes long term holding the best option.

Let holding the coin for a long time do the job for us and help us compound our interest and then deliver it to us at the end of its ATH. For me, I would choose holding over scalping which is lot quite easier.

There are lots of trading strategies that you can make use of but one thing you will have to know is that there is no guarantee of profit. The strategy you make use of doesn't mean that you're going to get profit, you can use all strategies but still wouldn't gain profit, cause cryptocurrency is quite unpredictable at times.

There are two main strategies that I know well about and that is MPT and Breakout. MPT means Modern Portfolio Theory and how this works is that you invest in assets with uncorrelated price movements. While in Breakout you're assuming that when it breaks through its usual resistance level another uptrend has started.

From your explanation, I bet you are not a short term trade (day trader), because the only lace fundamental analysis functions well is when you use it to forecast future price maybe 3 months forecast and not a day forecast.

Most trader you see will tell you that TA id the most used trading strategy for a day trader which has worked for me perfectly well for all my trading both I Forex and crypto trading. People that find TA difficult are people that cannot read chart and if you cannot read chart, then you are not ready to be a shorter trader, which it is advisable you stick with holding where FA becomes useful.

Everyone has a different strategy in trading, and I have a safe way to do long-term trading methods to avoid worries in the market situation.
and I often trade with bitcoin and indeed need patience and hold it firmly if the price situation is still low or unsatisfactory, but all that will be missed even if I have to wait a long time but the results are satisfying and profitable.
and that happens now and I have bitcoin when the price is low and lasts for one year and I have made a profit, and I have sold some profits and the rest I still maintain to keep the price of bitcoin up higher.

What a risky method is that, but it's still good especially when you are updated and have many sources.

Just a piece of advice, don't really rely on Fundamental Analysis because it could lead you to loss. Are you aware of 'inside jobs'?
For example, before the positive announcement of a particular coin, some people already bought the coin and dump it on the peak when the news published.

I don't call it a strategy or maybe its scalping, shorting or day trading because I only buy when I see a huge potential on a coin to pump in the next hour or maybe days. I don't follow trading signals like those pump and dump groups. They are nothing but thrash and only feeds themselves and not their subscribers or paying clients.

I am studying to be able to trade every day, and want to make this a profession so I trade regularly every day. Of course don't expect big profits, but a little routine origin will amount to a lot during the cumulative month.
Trying to be patient and learn about 5 potential coin characters, for me it is enough to be greedy to get a lot of coins. Altcoin trading clearly makes more sense to me because of the small capital, and the expected profit is only 2% or 3% every day.

Swing trade is the best strategy for me, I buy coin that will below ATB and just wait until it reach minimum 2x. It might take a weeks or months but this strategy is the best for me, I guess....

I used crypto trading to get profit so far. This became helpful to me for more than 5 years almost up to the present. And those coins that giving me profit anyhow was Utk, Xbx, pundix so far. Then, some altcoins are Atf, Cred, tky and Nem and candle stick most of the time my pattern to play trade in the market, though I knew it is not enough to say that this was a good tools.

A good one indeed if you able to catch moving coins like that, but in this current momentum where projects is really hard to rise up to 2x, you
need to be more specific with swing trade and you can adjust to take even 10-20% profits, enough for a successful trade.

i use top down analysis and fundamental tracking also this works well for me ,
there are several strategies find which is easy for you  and which suits your risk management , not all strategies have same risk many will have large risk and reward also , practice one and perfect it dont jump from one to other
I am studying to be able to trade every day, and want to make this a profession so I trade regularly every day.
It is important to do the study and do the homework to be able to know what strategy you should use in what time and to be able to understand the benefits of making market knowledge and trading techniques. In addition, there is one rule that can help you immensely to make big money in trading your coins and that is the rule of down cost investment. If you invest at the lowest price possible, you end up make the maximum money.

This is a strategy that many investors use and I am also applying this strategy to make the best profit because I am really poor in trading and I often have a loss when making a small transaction. I think the long-term investment will help me to be calmer and can be assured of a good price if the market tends to rise. Anyway, this market is always volatile and it is very difficult to predict the price to sell, so I usually keep in my wallet and after a few years then profit will come to me.

the strategy is to repay the capital that I have, to keep prices from falling. so that I can make more purchases at lower prices.
so that I can backup with that strategy.

Buy when you see a good opportunity, sell when price rise. Everything between buying and selling is a boring time, but we need to be patient. I`m longterm trader, patience for me is the key, after I choose coin to invest in and hold, I dont have what to to except to wait. And waiting pays out in many cases!
Simple and profitable, its how I like to trade.

Hey guys, what kind of trading strategy do you use? and Why? What's the effectivity rate?
Everything is trite and simple. I use technical analysis, which is equally applicable both in the cryptocurrency market and in other markets. The majority loses money, not because they don’t know in which direction the market will go, but from the wrong psychology. Because psychology is 99% of success.

I agree.Patience is really worth it to do especially when you are in a long term trading.Buying low and selling in high price is what i'm mostly doing even at the present times.I'll just make sure that i have invested into a potential coin and just patiently wait for the price to reach its peak.I sometimes make day trading too only when the market is very positive.

i am agree with your point mate.the important thing to identify in crypto trading or other market was trend.if we could identify the market trend we will easily earn profit.this is hardest thing for us if we have no any skills in technical analisys.

It seems to me, even if very often or constantly use Technical analysis of all the coins of interest to you, so all the same Results will depend to a great extent on luck.  You can not predict what circumstances in the market will be the next hours or days.
