The project still has very long journey because it has 5 phases and ico last Q2 2020 with total supply which I think is very little 900,000 MTXLT but by the way, what is price per token and does this use erc?

Yep kinda of a long road. Selling point is the no transaction fee which is quite surprising for a coin to have, certainly there are more questions to ask about the project. The comparison table tell similarity to Monero but the speed is a lot faster among them anon coins. All I can say is that the earlier to invest the better as you don't have to buy the coin for a higher price.

We will update our post with the missing information in a minute. However, to answer your questions. The initial price per token is 20 USD payable in BTC, ETH, XRP, and XLM. Our token is based on Stellar. Also, yes - we decided to do a long ICO, but we did already start with development. Reasons for the ICO duration are, for example, we can start with a cheap price in the beginning and increase the price over time as soon as we've got a working prototype, onboarded some partners, etc. This is not only good for financing the project, but also for early-stage investors which will have a solid ROI in case we'll be successful with our idea.

A token under stellar platform, not bad.. but why choose this primitive method in raising money for your project? ICO is a dying market and IEO is the thing now.

I highly doubt people will take interest in your project specially the long ICO day's. Theyre money will be lock up for a longer time. they will probably choose to hold their coins instead of buying your tokens.

We are actually considering an IEO for the following phases of our coin offering, but this will take some legal preparation over the next weeks. Of course, some people will not invest some of their coins in Tixl and keep their holdings instead. We are really targeting the early adopters in this phase of the market.

The technological solution for not having transaction fees is strongly inspired by Nano. You can find details about that in our whitepaper :)

Having a long IEO is not really preffered by investors,. Most people right now are thirst of action like, Immediate Exchange listing upon completion of Token sale. So having phases for your IEO will just make it boring and probably people will just overlooked your project and just stick with the top projects being launch in top IEO platform.

We were able to clarify the legal framework for the IEO finally. You are right that an exchange listing after the IEO is essential - this is also our goal.
We will implement the second phase of our ICO as an IEO. So the token will quickly become available for trading on exchanges, but we can still approach private investors to raise more funds in the long run (comparable to a series A/B round) in the following ICO phases. We'll work with holding periods for the private sales.

Yes holding or vesting period is important for those private investors since they got the token at a cheap discounted price.

When choosing an IEO platform make sure it has a legitimate trading volume. Not all those top exchanges on CMC are reporting a legit organic volume. You can check out STEX IEO platform they have a decent volume and they started to accept token project that wanting to run their IEO on their exchange platform.

Even though a centralized platform can manipulate their volume without even knowing the customer, be sure to look the legitimacy by looking their real audiences on the exchange .

Yes, you guys are absolutely right. We'll choose the platform for our IEO very carefully. We'll start to negotiate with some high (real) volume exchanges by the end of this week.

Yes, absolutely. As for similar solutions, as far as I know, none of the popular cryptocurrencies allows private, instant and zero-fee transactions at the same time. And for sure, this is about many benefits to the users

And just from your point of view, is it a problem nowadays? Do people actually need cryptocurruncies to be private, zero-fee and instant? Curious to know your thoughts on that

I believe that yes, some kind of. In a world heading more and more towards digital currencies, we must secure that the essential properties of traditional money preserve. Nobody, neither governments or companies nor private people want the public to be able to look into their monetary transactions. All users of a digital currency wish to pay as low fees as possible, the higher the fee, the lower the potential for widespread usage. If a future currency is slow in terms of transaction speed, it’s not a future currency. So everything should go towards users convenience

And talking about technology, can you tell me more about the ones Tixl is using? What do you find innovative?

They use the most sophisticated technologies emerged from the blockchain world of the past years. A Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) data structure together with the Stellar Consensus Protocol. And they are among the most solid projects I have met so far, talking about technology and the concept

All the technology they are bringing are here to increase the reliability of the platform, increase the speed of transactions etc

The concept of this project is really very interesting.
But the question is how suitable in market.
If you look at it, either exchange tokens grow(BNB+HT) or projects whose tokens are actively used in dozens of applications(ETH+TRON) or projects with rich funds behind them(BCH+BSV). What is this project have?

That is a very good question :) The points you mentioned are exactly what we are working on. Currently, we are in the fundraising phase. Besides putting those funds into the development, it is also our goal to establish partnerships with exchanges and payment providers to get as much transaction volume on Tixl as possible.

From the comparison perspective, our project cannot really be compared with BNB or ETH. We are more competing with BTC but also with XMR, ZEC or something like GRIN. Since we focus on payments only we see a good chance to take root in that field of competition.

Sure, this is an interesting question that makes sense. The technical concept of Tixl is influenced by combining multiple approaches of existing cryptocurrencies. For optimal scalability, Tixl uses a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) as data structure and the Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP) as a consensus algorithm. A special cryptosystem based on NTRU gives Tixl the ability to hide transaction details from outsiders. From my point of view, this is what makes the ecosystem much more advanced

I would even say much more ;) Cause in here we are speaking mostly about deeper innovation, from my point of view

Hmm, that's a truly great question. As far as I see the situation, similar opportunities apply to an investment in Tixl as to an investment in Bitcoin, Ethereum or another cryptocurrency. If Tixl rises in price and you bought early in the ICO, you benefit from the corresponding performance

Thanks for all of your questions. As stated in our roadmap and in our whitepaper, Tixl is currently under development and a prototype will soon be released. The code is not yet open source as we don't want to provide an opportunity for other coins to use it. The decision is also documented in our whitepaper.


Tixl is in many ways different to Tangram. First of all, Tixl focuses on payments only. Tangram mentions in their whitepaper that they are considering features like "smart contracts, data storage, and communication". Tixl's focus on payment transactions will have a positive impact on timelines, budget etc. Additionally, Tixl uses a different consensus algorithm and a different crypto system. The reasons for that are also explained in our whitepaper. Last but not least, Tixl is currently focusing on a proper fundraising to ensure that we have the budget for marketing, development and exchange listings. As far as I know, Tangrams only did a very small private ICO (in their Discord) and will distribute the majority of their tokens via a faucet distribution. Of course, that is a nice idea to incentivize the community but in return they will have less money available for marketing, exchange listings, etc.

This is indeed a great question. Well, because they are superior to other approaches such as coin mixing services, CoinJoin or Mimblewimble. Have you also read about their quantum secure cryptosystems?

Indeed a great question. As for private coins - the market is approximately $3.32 B, cryptocurrencies are much more - around $184B + depending on main currencies exchange rates. As for main competitors of TIXL, I can name Dash, Monero, Zcash

Hmm, I can name many, however the most valuable ones, from my point of view, are TX speed (around 1-5 secs only), zero fees, absolutely confidential TX. And they are using DAG :)

We wanted to split the fundraising process into multiple phases so that early bird investors get a good price. Also first we considered doing an ICO instead of an IEO so we've got all the tooling to raise funds in a "traditional" ICO-like way. That's why we decided to do the first 2 phases of our token sale as a Pre-IEO so that during this time we can negotiate a deal with an exchange.

And I love the results so far, you guys are doing pretty great with current milestones and keypoints, so you know, I would say that demand will keep growing along with more people getting aboard. And it is already happening

Yep, I do. During the first phase that is almost sold-out the goal is $450,000, during phase 2 it is 2,25M and 9M during IEO. So you know, Tixl team is definitely aiming at becoming a global product ;)

That's an interesting question. Zcash is a direct competitor to Tixl and has the best privacy concept from all other cryptocurrencies. It has a lower market cap than Monero but a higher daily transaction volume. For Zcash the same opportunities apply as for Monero, the advantages in scalability make Tixl a severe competitor ;)

I can totally understand your criticism, thanks for that! We are pretty new on bitcointalk and tried to work together with somebody helping us with the community support. We learned from that and will now keep going with our internal team only.


However, I am happy to answer your question. To establish speedy transactions we do two things. First of all, we use a DAG as a data structure. Of course, this is not something new. We have already seen this for cryptocurrencies like Nano before. Secondly, we use the Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP) for validating conflicting transactions. Since SCP is also pretty fast, we can provide fast transactions even with validating each of them. In the end, it also depends on the trust level a client wants on a transaction. If the receiver of a transactions trusts the sender directly, they don't have to wait for the consensus before "accepting the payment". In all other cases, the receiver and sender will have to wait a few seconds for the consensus to be established. In addition to the consensus, we are already thinking about off-chain trust providers that can provide trust faster than the consensus but that is more under construction and not ready to be released as a concept at the moment.

Regarding the centralization: SCP allows full decentralization because it allows all nodes to decide whom they trust. With that, there must not be a fixed set of nodes but instead, nodes can join at any time. Good project, very informative whitepaper. Reading it I realized that IOTA hadn't  had a consensus algorithm at all - just a DAG database with centralized server called the coordinator which decided in case of double spend and they were hoping find a solution - LOL! The good thing is that they recently invented new consensus algorithm which should implement very soon.
Talking for IOTA , I would like to highlight that this (in Tixl's whitepaper) is not the true though


as I know IOTA's transactions are quantum resistant so may be you should mention it in the white paper in the sake of objectiveness. IOTA's transactions are not private though so it is not direct competitor of Tixl.

I want to give you an idea because really like your project and will invest in it. Will be possible to use DHT to store your DAG structured database in order to reduce storage requirement for nodes and to remove the need for huge historical nodes?

Another idea is to change this name - tixl does not sound as currency. Brainstorm it and choose anotherone because later will be harder (for example raiblocks->nano). This is subjectivly anyway, may be only I don't like it, make a poll.

Actually, the feedback regarding our name was very positive by now. You are the first one who doesn’t like it. Or at least you are the first one mentioning that publicly ;-) However, we appreciate the feedback and will have that in mind in case we get more feedback on our name in the future.


The last sentence is also not really satisfying anymore and is likely to be removed in the next whitepaper version. It just means that Tixl can only become a successful project if people are really using it (which is kind of obvious).

Can you disclose how you assess that your cryptography is quantum resistant?
The features are great for Tixl but yes, adoption is necessary to achieve success of your project.
And getting listed in Binance DEX is actually a good start for your platform.

Sure, Tixl will use different cryptography for three things: Signatures, Encryption and Zero-Knowledge Proofs. For the signatures, we are currently considering XMSS which meant to be quantum secure. For the encryption part we are (already in the prototype) using NTRU which is also meant to be quantum secure. Finally, for the Zero-Knowledge Proofs we are planning to start with zk-SNARKS and Pedersen Commitments. These are not fully quantum secure since they are computationally binding and in that aspect based on the Discrete Logarithm Problem. Since they are perfectly hiding, even with the event of heavy quantum computers information would stay hidden. Nevertheless, it's our goal to upgrade to a different type of proofs as soon as possible.

Good afternoon from Hamburg, we have just published our third status update about the progress we’ve made over the past few weeks. It will be the last major update in the current phase of our token sale. Tixl’s primary focus is on usability, widespread and protection of investors. To achieve these goals, the system does not have to be completely decentralized from the very start. Of course, we do not want to lower the importance of decentralization with this step. However, achieving key goals is more crucial to the project than decentralizing right from the initial launch. Nevertheless, it is one of Tixl’s top priorities to become a 100% decentralized cryptocurrency as soon as possible.

Tixl nodes reach consensus by utilizing the Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP). SCP is a federated Byzantine agreement system that allows decentralized, leaderless computing
networks efficiently to reach a consensus outcome on some decision.
