Title: Why my day job is making me depressed
Post by: sixtyonefourfive on June 15, 2019, 09:22:32 PM
I have a full-time day job which makes me so depressed every day.  I just cannot handle 1 more day in my job.  The way that my day job makes me feel has forced me to look for alternative investment streams.  I really love investing in crypto.  I am an introverted person working in a highly extroverted roll, each day I am at work I am dying under the weight of extroverted people.  The noise and chaos that extroverted people spew out into the world makes introverted people highly stressed.

Trading cryptocurrency is a highly introverted job and that is what I love about it, you can do it from home, without the noise of extroverted people filling your mind with their toxic rubbish.

I am holding a significant amount of the altcoin called - HST decision token.  They are about to announce a significant client partnership on Monday 06.17.19

If HST goes to the moon and explodes in value, then I am resigning from my day job.

I pray that on Monday 17.06.19 that I can tell my boss where to shove her job.

This is my escape plan from my depressing day job buy purchasing HST tokens here: https://horizonstate.com/hst/ (https://horizonstate.com/hst/)

If you just entered the crypto space I have to warn you against trying to go allin to get rich quick. A lot of people made it but it wasn't easy.

I'd also advice you to focus on Bitcoin as for the forseeable future any altcoin gamble is exactly this. A gamble. You might as well try to win the lottery or beat the house on roulette.

Anyway I hope that this works out for you and you accomplish your goals.

I am probably the biggest fan of that famous phrase "Do what you love & you'll never work a day in your life" so if your daily job is not making you happy then something is really wrong or with you or with that job.. try to find something else to work with, something that makes you pleased to work.. if investing is what you like why don't you try to take it as a full time job? I know it may not be that profitable at the start but once you really understand how it works and spend your time to study about the cryptos market things probably gonna be way easier for you

Thanks for the information, although I find that the price of bitcoin is extremely expensive so I would need to invest lots of money just to by a couple of bitcoins.
Altcoins are cheaper, sure more risk, but I can buy lots of them.  I guess I have invested in the crypto market because the day-to-day job market is making me so depressed.
The 9 to 5 Monday to Friday daily grind, has ground me down so much that I am forced to take a risk.  If the risk pays off, then I can quit my day job.
I have only just started investing in the crypto markets so I have missed the whole bear market cycle, thank god!

We have the same feeling dude about our full day job, specially if you have quota need to hit, it really give me a lot of stress, and same as you i'm holding some token hoping some price up, if everything goes will then i'll be leaving my current job.

I advise you to hold HST coins.  I see HST listed in large exchanges.  HST volume is still low, so the HST value is still moving slowly.  and you don't quit your job.  it is better for every salary you get from a real job, you use it for investment in crypto world.

Most of us live in that condition. Like old song - Strongest survive. We have to be strong and not put all the eggs into one basket. Don't rely on one project.

Having a stable job is great as I never have to worry about income, but does it make me happy, hell no.
Investing in crypto makes me happy.  I just wish that I could do it full-time and that day make come if I play my cards right.
No wonder so many people started investing in bitcoin years ago, they must have all hated their day jobs too.

If you are in a situation the you feel uneasy and separated with the people that you are working then don't burn your boat instead go find a much more convenient working place for you because you can't full rely on cryptocurrency. What if your investments doesn't go successful then you will be stuck again to the old ways and become frustrated.

I understand your introversion but you must think clearly if you are capable of doing this kind of mindset in your life.

I guess the real question here is what motivates people to invest in bitcoin and the crypto currency market as a whole?
Is it escape from poverty?
Escape from their daily jobs?
Fun?
Passion?
Entertainment?
Interest in a new form of currency.

The reason I invested in the crypto market is very clear - because I absolutely 100% cannot stand another day in my current job.

Why did you invest in crypto?

Well good luck I hope it happens that you can tell that to your boss, I don't know much about that token but it looks promising, but if you are going to invest in crypto seriously, you should consider to diversify your portfolio and don't just put all your hopes on one coin alone, it's preferable to include the top coins in the market like Eth od course Tron Eos among others.

The way you tell your story is interesting but the way you shill your alt-coin is too obvious .
I am sorry to say my friend but it looks like the alt-coin that you buy look's like isn't going to sky rocket .
And resigning your day job because of your crypto pump up isn't a good idea.
You have to look far more realistic in the future how would you sustain your living how would you pay for your bills .
Your profit from your first trade would surely exhaust in no time so if you really want to quit on your job find more reliable source of income.
Learn how to trade properly and look for a homebase job that you could apply .

I really understand your condition and it may seem like crypto is going to make you make profit easier but you need to think carefully, trading for living is not an easy job it going to be  alot of learning, chart learning and market trend analysis, and invest in certain alt coin hoping it will sky rocket can be a long wait, so if you want to quit its better to strengthen your trading skill rather than praying the coin will sky rocket

Op seems to get stuck to some day job that he isn't passionate about, finding the one that makes him interested might get him out of the depressed mood. Now his focus has turned towards cryptocurrency based earning, amd and for the same leaving day job holding few assets isn't a right choice. The cryptocurrency market will make him more depressed as the market is much riskier to earn than a day job.

This is the real world and with the decentralization of crypto currency investments we have, we will be able to live like this but it is better to socialize with this people. They might be toxic as you've said but you will learn a lot of things from them except from being annoying all of the time especially if they are a good investor and trader themselves.

It can be that way if you find someone with a lots of good interest with this industry, those who can help you out and overcome this problem
either way you need to continue and proceed for your life it's needs  lots of patience and understanding if what will be the best choice for you.

Good for you and also for being so optimistic about the token you invested unto.

But there is that "if" word again.

There is no real assurance to it.
Keep your job and try to enjoy it. Even with the spike in value for that HST that you said, you will still need to keep on making money afterwards.
I tell you friend, there is no assurance with everyday profit in crypto. I bet many will agree with me in this.

You can do freelancing if you are tired of noises. Just dont lean on your crypto too much and do not expect a big return. That is reality. Absorb it. It can go down anytime.

IDK if anyones asked this (maybe I didn't catch it) but, what is your day job, if you don't mind answering that.

A lot of the advice you may receive on this forum could be dependent on that.

I don't think that your HST token is a potential altcoin because as you can see the price stabilize around $0.06 even bitcoin is increasing, well if you believe this altcoin hopefully will go to the moon so that you can resign your depressing day job lol.

We don't know if HST token will increase, but like the other coins or tokens, HST will have a potential to increase higher so even right now, the price is not too higher, maybe it will increase in the future. There are many other coins that he can buy and not just investing in HST token only. The more potential coins that he can invest, the more profit he can get when the bull market comes.

there are only two things you can do: accept the situation and go on or change something. But with change something isn't meant to invest in a project and shill it as much as you can ;D Putting all eggs in one basket isn't the right way... in 95% of the cases you will lose.

This sounds like me.

Not like am an introvert or I don't know what say but because I find most discussions by extrovert uninteresting, Childish and sometimes disgusting.  I usually talk more when am in the midst of people like me.

No office work gives me satisfaction except those that involve lots of hardwork, keeping everyone busy with no gossiping around.
Self employment works great for people like us. Jobs that involve more thinking/hardwork and less talking work great too.

I remember telling my parents who promised me a good in another city that I would never accept office work no matter the pay. They got a bit angry with me but I didn't care.

Noisy jobs are very depressing and could even make you contemplate suicide. This is how serious the whole thing is but no one understands us.

any work becomes boring with time and you don’t want to do it because it doesn’t bring pleasure. You need pleasure to stretch it out and learn something new in your work every day.

Crypto is indeed one of the best ways to get big profits but not as fast as rich, because all of this still requires a process. my advice if you have held an HST altcoin and even believe in a price increase later I think it can't be compared to your real job. I mean don't expect too much with crypto because it's not always profitable, and don't leave your realistic job or real income to expect the profits to be delayed from this HST altcoin.

I think it’s not your job that causes depression.  It is important to set yourself up for a positive continuation and positive result of your work, then you really get success.

Well maybe today my job depression will lift as HST are about to announce a significant contract to supply its voting platform to a major government or business.  This should put significant buying pressure on HST tokens, this might just be my ticket to freedom out of a day job that I cannot stand. All eyes on HST over the next 24 hours, it may just surprise the crypto market.

I guess a word is enough for the wise, the truth is that there are many in the crypto that which to have other things doing apart from crypto but here you have one and you want to throw it away, i feel you need to have a re-think. Crypto is volatile so you cannot rely on it totally so that you will not be messed up. I f your present job is not giving you the happiness you wanted then change your job if you can.

Think for a start whether it is for you?  This is necessary to live and understand what to do next.  Development will help, read and analyze.  There is no quick enrichment, this is the first mistake of people, everyone thinks that it is manna from heaven.  No, understand why you are here and if it is for you, then the decision will come by itself.

I agree, the company I work for everyone gets paid the same, I work so damn hard and more work is piled on to me as I am an introvert, while the extroverts waste time by standing in a corner talking about crap.  The saying goes "give a job to a busy person" as you know that it will get done, comes to mind.  Its an unfair work environment where laziness is rewarded and hard work is not.
Cryptocurrency changes the way people work as hard work is rewarded for more crypto while laziness it not rewarded at all.

Bad news man. You are holding a shitcoin that went from over 3 dollars to 0.08 in April and is still losing value. In the last 2 months it again lost 20% and that happened when bitcoin reversed into a bull market and most altcoins gained some value. It looks like you'll be spending some time in that hated job of yours.

I'd be sympathetic if you had your money in something more promising but leaving a job to trade a coin ranked 732 on CMC is a bad idea and a waste of your time and resources.

Job is the name of limits and help others to achieve their goals to sacrify own.We all born free and freedom is right of everyone so its better to go with your dreams and build your empire to get financial and mental freedom.Do not sacrify your mental health for job, because they will replace you in a week so health is priorty.
If there is job need then try to do some for your dreams after your job it will give you freedom may be not soon but later.

Everyone may also feel the same, bored, depressed, stressful and also bad with their daily job exactly. However, of course, it will give us the positive and negative sides. It depends on how we take the decision for this daily job. And when you are going to enter the crypto world exactly, never only think that crypto world will always give you happiness, it sometimes gives you big risks, sadness, anger, and more other emotional condition. Learn more first about crypto and decide yourselves.

Even the best of us do get the sucker punch at work sometimes, you learn to love what you do or change career to what you love, it is nice having some stable income. Crypto investments are cool but the reward/loss pendulum can swing both ways almost with the same effort.Take time to really find out what you love rather than betting on a single random coin to do the life -changing magic.

I guess that I have stuck it out at a job that I have hated for just over 10 years, so no amount of thought process will change my view about how to enjoy it.
The only thing i have learnt about me is...what I don't want to to in the future in terms of a career, and I have also learnt that I am extremely resilient.
HST - decision token, might just be my saving grace from this daily struggle.

But have you factored in HST announcing a significant contract to supply HST tokens to a major government or a global business.  This announcement is due out today and might just bring the whales back to HST. Buying pressure has just started in anticipation of a significant announcement.
You can buy HST tokens here https://horizonstate.com/hst/ (https://horizonstate.com/hst/)

You're buying into this coins only because some people are promising major announcements? Aren't you a bit too optimistic for your own good? This isn't the first coin that made big promises and failed to deliver. I wish you well and hope you'll make money and leave the job but life is never easy. This coin was losing value in both bull and bear markets and promises is all they got left.

Maybe it will get pumped maybe not but you don't have enough money to be betting it all on a limping horse because the jockey is a good bullshiter.

Diversify is what you need, when you have enough savings to invest on something you better choose to invest on crypto currency. but invest wisely cause if you fall on deadly scam your depression will become 10x worse than your day job. it's better to just hodl a known alt coins and wait for it to bloom that's how you get to safety investment.

It is very difficult to combine work and your hobbies so that it brings pleasure.  but if it is still done then you will be the happiest person in the world.  and one will experience depression because you are not doing what you would like because of this, you develop depression due to a lack of something.  as for I need to relax more and think positively.
I work with investments using part-time crypto currencies because I have a reason for government in my country, I still don't fully legalize crypto currencies as the prevailing currency

Honestly speaking I can trust the coin that you choose will bring you to decide resign in your job, maybe it can but need a long time to make it happens. I just weird why you choose that altcoin whilst there are a lot of potential altcoin such as on the top position. I can say it just because I often to see the latest information about cryptocurrency and many artickles that stated altcoin such as ADA, Tron, Litecoin, and etc will have a bright future. I never heard about HST so far maybe because I'm not an investor it coins.

I don't know if you are part of the promotional team of that token or you just believe on it too much, but you should never put all your 100% trust on one coin alone, it's risky better diversify your portfolio by including the top and best coin in the market, it will make things easier for you to get you out of your day job.

It takes a lot of courage to put yourself on a people that may cause you an anxiety attack and choosing crypto as your escape plan may not be bad but there are other ways to let yourself feel more comfortable. And your choice may seem to be good but there are times that you really need to face your uncomfortable situation or if you don't then you might stay like that for the rest of your life. You have to train yourself to become more flexible so you will live confidently comfortable.

It seems to be better if we exchange ideas on this.

My advice is that you better work with experience orientation, don't be too money oriented. This is what usually makes workers stressed out. I am also 2 years into unemployment and looking for work at this time is very difficult. Hoping for trading profits and bounties is really frustrating too.
But I also want to keep a job so at least i would have more skills and portfolio to shown and not only depend on what I do now.

You need to find way to divert your attentions so you can still have the courage to stand just in case your investment will not prosper and you can't resigned that quick, all that matters will be rewarded when your selected investment paid out and bring you success, think of both sides for possible outcome, that's how we should handle stress to overcome and be more successful.

Some people start dreaming big with cryptocurrency and they hope to get rich with it. It's okay, but when someone starts thinking of resigning from his job just because of a dream like that, it can have a negative impact on his performance in the workplace before the dream is achieved. Daily job for most people is a must because it will not only give us a steady income but also become our identity in society.

I also ever felt very depressed of my day job, always every day, with many pressure from the job target.
That is actually very common happening, however, sometimes, I feel like "I'm tired of this situation".
After knowing about cryptocurrencies, learning deeper, and entering this crypto world, I also have another feeling, should I quit the job and focus on the crypto world? And see, now I quit the job, focus on crypto investment and trading, and also start my own business.
What you should do is taking the right decision for your life now and future, be brave and know the risks.

In my opinion you should not give up your job to fully participate in the electronic money market. Electronic money market is new and attractive but also risky. You will not know what you will encounter in the electronic money market. Ideally, you should keep your job only taking part of the time to participate in this market.

sometimes working in the world of cryptoqurrency not only makes you depressed, but also makes you lose consciousness when bad things happen to you. I mean if you have a real job, you still do it and don't stop here because it is your actual income.

My advice is to do this job as a side job not your full time job and don't be too hasty in making decisions whether it's trade or investment. and make sure everything you've researched yourself, then don't ever spend all your money on crypto, it's better to set aside a portion for personal savings and partly for crypto but if you have found a decent coin for investment or trade.

So far crypto is profitable but very risky, there other profitable engagements aside crypto, spread your tentacles and do not entirely rely on one

Life would be so simple if investors started to buy heaps of HST decision token, https://horizonstate.com/hst/ (https://horizonstate.com/hst/) then the price would rise significantly and I could sign my resignation form, but life is about cruel harsh realities, punishment and hours and hours of suffering.

look for work that suits your passion so that it can make you comfortable without the burden of work and you should not have to wait for your investment in crypto to go to the moon and then get out of work, you should find a job that fits your passion while doing your previous job until you get a job the new one to leave the old job. we can do cryptocurrency while working because relying on money from crypto is not recommended especially if you already have a family that must be fed every day

The reason why I don’t like my main job is that I have to work for some person, and the income is much less than if I worked for myself.  Here, the option with cryptocurrency completely suits me, but at the moment I lack experience in trade and investment.  For this reason, in order to have a steady income, I still need to go to work. There is a goal to do what is really my business.

Exactly, I myself sometimes get bored from my job but every time I try something new to refresh myself. increase knowledge so that you can better understand things.
indeed every job is not always smooth so we have to be patient and face calmly.
trading can make you get a big profit if you can manage it, any business can produce if you understand it.

In any case,  make decisions and take responsibility for your actions.... The crypto space is not for the weak in heart.... It is for those who can take responsibility for their actions... Enjoy your funds if your token moon and if not, still enjoy yourself to the fullest... Have no regrets and make decisions wisely

Problem is that as humans due to the numerous responsibilities we have we are forced to doing things we find no joy in just to make ends meet. If you're good trading and you feel you can have a life from it, I don't see why you should continue with a joy that eats a part of you.

This is very much like an advertising post. But this coin is a very strong cryptocurrency. I think she can raise her price but not too high. Good luck finding a new introverted job)))

Lol that's a joke HNC even better than HST but i agree with you if this related to the promotion thread.
He was also promoting decision token too but i never saw how valuable those coins to be bought by us.
Trade major coin is much better.

If you are planning to resign or giving up your job, well I think you better you think it several times mate. Because entering into cryptocurrency is not that easy like what you are thinking. Better for you to begin here as your part time income. Then, when you find out that you can handle it properly that's the for you to leave you job, just an advise dude.

Stress over work and with your boss is just natural feeling in a work. I also experienced that, too sometimes.

Here is a good step you may want to consider. As you know, crypto trading as a full time job isn't a good idea. If you are not happy with your full time job, find another one before resigning. Do not be too confident with the HST token's promise or with any crypto coins you are hodling. The market is too volatile and altcoin trading isn't always profitable. You can not live with it alone. Just look for another full time job and treat trading as your sideline job only.

If you resign just because of this doing bounty activity or any crypto investment, its a big risk, we all knows how crypto so volatile especially into bitcoin. Unless if th these year bullrun will appear then many Ico projects will go pass and its a healthy as well to execute crypto trading. I am also introverted. In my job I occasionally have to perform extrovert-type tasks, giving presentations and leading meetings, but I know there is absolutely no way I could last in a proper extrovert-type job.
I would say you absolutely have to get a different job. An introvert will never be happy in an extrovert role.

Unfortunately, crypto currencies space cannot replace a daily job, because the funds that hunters and traders are getting from bounties have decreased pretty hard. Hopefully, things will turn better in the nearest future.

I think you chose the wrong career. But other than that, having an everyday job is still better not unless you already earned millions from cryptocurrencies. Everyday jobs will guarantee you money but trading and bounties will not guarantee you money since there are red days and it is inevitable.

I dont know if your story is real or not, but if your job makes you depressed, just quit.
But before you quit, of course make sure you already accepted other job you can do.
Trading in cryptocurrency can be depressing too, but it is better than your current depressing job.
About Horizonstate, i think it is a new project and will need some time to research about that before buying their token.

if you say a career, there are very few careers that are suitable for people, usually they will work differently than expected because it may also affect the age factor even in terms of experience that is still lacking, the pressure in the career world will always be there becoming more value to gain experience and certainly you can be stronger than before because you have worked with high pressure.

It's true, having a job in the real world is very important. Unless you want to focus on crypto, of course it's a choice for each person. Because in crypto all there are no guarantees when you don't get the right profit. If you do both of course it's a good thing too, It's just that time will talk. So think about which one makes you happy in the future.

Not just him, many people have ideas and dreams about their work in the future but only a few can fulfill their dreams, the rest are always involved in areas that do not match the knowledge they have learned, it's too normal, And this really creates a depression but as you say, he should know that he needs that job, without this job, he will never be able to grow, we have no right to choose, instead of opposing fate, we should accept and gradually we will see joy in the work and when everything is stable, we will move on to the next plan we want

Investing in Cryptocurrency is rewarding provided that you know what and when to invest, I have a lot of friends who made an investment and lucky to triple his profit but there is a lot of risks that we need to watch out, you can resign from your work if you already made profit and kept a saving for the time that the market is not moving at all.

there is a profit and there is also a loss. first I also felt the benefits of the investment that I made, and then I received a loss, and fortunately again. investment is not always profitable, because indeed we choose crypto assets that can eliminate our money.

Good point as why you needed to focus with crypto if you have other options finding a day job maybe you are using this opportunities to promote the coin as mentioned, you have a lots of things to consider if ever this coin won't work you can still have a good chance finding another job and continue your life without any stress.

I get what you are saying since some jobs can be extremely stressful depending on your personality but putting all your hopes in a coin that most of the community does not know is probably not the best course of action, I looked for the coin you are holding and it seems it has been crashing from the moment it began being traded experimenting a 99% crash and when you add the bitcoin bull run we are experiencing then the interest in altcoins is even lower than normal so I do not think the coin will ever recover.

To resign from your work, you need to have another new source of income so you could still get the money to buy your daily needs. If you can find the revenue from the cryptocurrency, you can do many things related to cryptocurrency, and I am sure that your income will bigger than your work before. But you need to know the way to make money which I am sure you already get it now. You need to be strong to work in cryptocurrency because your competitor will be from all countries, and there is no time to quit before you reach success.

That's right. Most office workers will choose to invest in cryptocurrency when they feel tired and depressed when the work they do does not make them comfortable and feel good. And I think it's better for you not to rush in making decisions, if you feel uncomfortable maybe you can look for another job and you can still invest in cryptocurrency by doing your work out there.

While this looks to me like an advertisement strategy, I wouldn't comment on that anyway.

If you're actually planning to quit your job simply to trade cryptocurrency, then I advice you to obliterate such plans from your train of thought, as it'll be an extremely foolish thing to do.
The best way to stay active investing in cryptocurrency, is to have a real life job, something that gives you a good income that you can pump in a certain percentage into your trading.

If you're quitting your job as a result of the fact you're not in love with it, then it makes more sense, but it's much more better you secure another job, before losing(letting go of) the one you have.

Trust is the basic capital in the world of cryptocurrency, in addition it takes a strategy that really makes you confident to achieve success. I think if you currently invest in HST, then you must be absolutely sure when you invest. one strategy for you is, you should try to invest in various other altcoins, not just one altcoin.

If you invest in some random shit token like this one then no matter what you do,  you won't be able to leave your current depressing day job filled with extroverted people.
You have to be able to generate enough revenue apart from your day job so that you can leave it and find a job which suits your needs.
Investing in crypto is great but we should never make it as our full time job since there is never a stable income in crypto.
Well, this is my perspective and obviously everybody have their own point of view on different things. So, invest in better assets so that you generate better interests.
Then find a job that suits your needs and then you should be good to go.

It is difficult to earn money from this market. The market for 1 year continuously pouring blood and trading cannot help us get stable money. Also if we join bounty and make money from them. We also don't get much money because the current bounty is almost dead and has a lot of scam

I am not much different from you, almost one year I was in the crypto room to learn all this. but it's not easy to make money here, I'm a prize hunter and I'm full time here, because I don't have a permanent job in the real world ... but some things that I think are profitable like investing and doing daily trading.

now is a difficult time to find money as a bounty hunter especially in the past few months there are many projects that do not pay the participants and there are also projects that do not have their value tokens/ market , so it would be very difficult to live without other jobs at this time and in my opinion it is better to make the bounty hunter job only as a side job / second job because the results obtained may not necessarily be cukup for our lives.

If your day job is making you depressed then I would say that either you, or your job, does not fit with your personality. Do you excel in the work you do? If yes, is it the people at work that you are annoyed with? If so, then either you try to adjust and be sociable with them since you are lucky that you have a job. Millions don't have one. If in your place it is easy for the likes of you to find work then so be it. Resign and then move on finding the job that you love. Do you support a family? Wife, son, parents? If yes, then think twice. Having them to suffer because of your personal needs would be another thing to think of.

True, it is really difficult for most to become bounty hunters now since there are only a few bounties that could provide good money nowadays. In the bountiful years from 2015 to 2017 there are always good bounties that you can join and make money out of but this year I would say there are not much. It is a hit or miss world these bounties right now. I do research though and some bounties are worth a shot. let us be hopeful that someday we can be successful with our chosen fields in cryptocurrency.

As people say "It is better being rich and healthy than poor and sick".We are all here with a strong desire to turn our lives for the better ,but don't put all your money just in one suspisious coin - you can easily lose money.

You can't say that this is a perfect place for him unless they have to try it and shows that he could face and manage the risk. A lot of people were trying trading but sadly it came into a losing ends instead of profiting. It all just means that crypto trading isn't for everyone but only for those who have passion and courage of doing this.

Wow, I'm sorry but your post is so depressing.
First, if you are telling the truth, then I feel sympathy for your state in life.
You could, you know, switch jobs instead of thinking crypto will solve your problems.
And, on top of that, a shitcoin like HST is what you called it?
Yeah, terrible investment.

Second, if you are just advertising, you aren't doing a good job.
There are so many holes in your story.
Also, the negative trust you have doesn't help either.
If you are shilling, I recommend getting a new bitcointalk account and reconsider how you go about trying to market
(first off, stay away from shitcoins).

Good advice because Bitcoin investment is the safest for all of us,but looking thru OP’s trust history I think there’s no truth about this story instead this is just something to get attention from cryptonians

The charts show that you coin go down. In a bull run. Not good. :'(
That’s what he got from trusting a shitcoins lol

It's really a risky thing.
IMO day job is a stable source of income,  but as op is losing intrest in it and relying completely on trading,  so better he be careful.
Moreover i can suggest to OP to invest in stable coins,  as this will help you to recover from losses.

Hello buddy, it is helpful to be optimistic but if you close the door of regular salary from your job could be your regretful. Cryptocurrency is unstable as of now. Better be more patience and don't leave your job. Try to balance crypto and job opportunity without missing.

I'm still trying to figure out if you are just shilling a project or you are saying how you really feel about your job, one of the things I can tell you is, never go all in, sometimes it is safe to use crypto as an alternate source of income not the only source. But again it is your decision, do what makes you happen.

Even if your token makes you profitable, it's better not to quit your job. Remember, the price of crypto is very volatile. Maybe you get a profit this time only 30% in 1 year you are in crypto. Because it is very difficult to determine a good coin. So many altcoins already exist. And do not let your appetite to buy coins in large quantities. I hope you still work in your office. Make crypto as an addition.

Kind a feels like you are advertising for HST coin. I have seen people writing stories of their lives and in the end they say the same exact thing - "I hope investing in HST  will be worth it/change my life/will help me get out this misery bla bla bla. Are you guys getting paid for this?
Anyways, if you are uncomfortable with your job, then just quit. Don't torture yourself. Quit or change yourself. Try to get along with those extroverted people instead of calling them "toxic".

Dont get your hopes up on crypto, on your coins, i dont know about that but i think that is a bad choice. especially in these market conditions, even the project which have good news doesn't mean the price will increase greatly. You cant easily rich on crypto. You need patience not instant. So i think you should keep your work, or find another job which don't make you depressed
I would go to a job that causes depression only on one condition-a high salary. In all other cases, I see no reason to come to work.I consider the work in cryptocurrency very worthy. Therefore, it is better to choose her. I hope she is will not cause depression.

The op is simply a play writer because to me, it feels he already knows that there is no future for this dead coin, and because he has so many investment in it, he wants to shill it to make people invest and then push the value high so he can exit and leave the rest to suffer what he has been suffering ever since he invested in it, which is continues dwindling of value.

HST token as at today is almost like a dead coin to me, because I do not really see nay use case that they have and if you look at op never really mentioned what their establishment is for, other than it making him to make money, so indirectly, it is going to be more like a pump and dump coin, and these coin has already witnessed huge dumping which it may not really make it that much again in future.

Crypto space is the right place for you. Whatever happens on this market, it is still possible to work from home and to earn money. Stay self confident, because crypto currencies are here to stay and maybe one day it will cover all your spendings so you can quit your job.

The guy, who can get depressed quickly through the job that does not satisfy him, might not deal with trading. This business is connected not only with big profits but with great loses. What if a man does not have success? He can blame then all the guys, who wanted to prompt him something good. Only the work which you love will bring you finally money.

Day job will make you depressed if you don't do your job anymore, you can quit your job and find another one as you are not helping the company and the company at the same time will not get your best effort to help.

Crypto on the other hand is not easy, it's riskier as you need to be smart to make yourself profitable here, in fact if compared to a day job, you are on the safe side on your day job as you will receive a fix income that you don't have to risk money, so you won't loss. However, I understand the reason why we are here because we are not contented with what we earn, or in preparation for our future as having a job alone will not help us achieved a financial freedom, unless we have a very low satisfaction, while in crypo investing, it's possible here but we have to take the risk, and with that, we need to have good control of our emotion so we will not feel depressed in this kind of challenge we are facing.

Seeing your story, that you are the type of person who enjoys and enjoys peace, the world of crypto is a suitable job, where work in the crypto world requires calmness and accuracy. The world of crypto is very difficult to guess, don't get your hopes up with what you follow in the crypto world and immediately leave the job you have. Decide carefully, keep trying, explore, and always be vigilant
This is also good keep trying and much better find a job that you will love to do daily. This is really depressing once you go to work with low salary and not your passion to do. In crypto this is also could helps but as we know there is a risks in crypto world.

strongly agree with your opinion and I personally do not fully work with crypto currencies because in my country crypto currencies have not been fully legalized by the government and that is the reason I am not fully investing in crypto currencies
i also have the same reason as you, that's why my work in cryptocurrency is only a part-time job.
i also have a permanent job in the real world.

After I read the topic that you created, the words that are suitable to describe it is (The only way to do great work is to love what you do). Conducting everyday activities makes sense, especially according to your profession, and as humans we are always required to look for more incomes, in this case trading Crypto currencies is a very appropriate step.  So, you should be able to divide the time between extrovert and introvert work, so that they can always join hands.

nice advertising you got there lol . mining might be beneficial for you but its not for everyone else because the cost of electricity are different from region to region and from country to another  . also , not all users can afford to buy those high end miners that you mentioned above .

jobs are really stressing because there are no easy jobs and there is no easy way to make money  but if you just dont like your job then your fine to leave and find other jobs that you feel comfortable with   . crypto trading alone is risky and wont be a better substitute  . just my two cents

psychologically, it is very difficult for introverts to blend into society. but friends, try from now on to start mingling with the community, because apart from your own self-interest, you do need someone else to live this life in any case, as well as me and all others.

trading crypto can indeed make you comfortable at home and not greet people outside the home, but it's not a good life friend. in this life, we must always do good to everyone, even though it makes us feel hurt sometimes.

but that's what a hero does  ;)

If you have full money back up then only it will be a wise decision to leave the day job. Fixed monthly income is very important unless one has lot of money. A business may give profit today and may give loss tomorrow but on the other hand there are little chances of growth in job whereas in cryto trading or any other business chances of growth are unlimited. I suggest you not to take any decision in hurry, if the value of your token rieses and you have good amount of money in your hand and a good business or trading plan then only you take the decision of leaving your day job.

When you are not happy with what you are doing, you have to change this work. When you are getting bored with your work, it means you don't work. It doesn't depend on what do you do, the same feeling can be a case for other people. If you are trading in crypto markets, you have to make the layout your time for doing this. 80% percent of people live the same life, daily work, and absolutely the same stress, but you can change this cycle completely.

Lol, where I come from, even if the job is depressing, you just have to do it so you can stay alive, stay alive in the sense that job is very scarce, and without job, you cannot feed you and your family, so for getting one even if it is very frustrating, you just have to accept it and continue with the sacrifice for your family, but for someone who is focus, you only see that period as a period for you to learn, you try to save lots of money to establish business or make investment that will give one the freedom to stand alone.

Trading is very good, but even if you are to trade, you need very good money to do that, especially if you want to make it a full time job, so op just have to deal with that shit till he is able to raise substantial money to stand on his own.

The noise and chaos that extroverted people spew out into the world makes introverted people highly stressed.

Extroverted noise people are trying to forget real reality and convince themselves that they are happy and why not when this works for them. Deep thoughts and solitude makes them feel uneasy and they react with noise for noise sake. Programming is a good job for introverted persons. I think that market speculation is more job for a energetic extrovert.

It's very good that you want to quit your job for crypto. But to get a stable income here, it will not be enough just to buy a coin and wait for its growth. Here too it is necessary to work. But I wish you good luck. Many have been able to throw off their duties to someone and now enjoy life and I wish you the same.

but if you have experience in short-term trading, I think quitting your real job is a good choice, so you can focus on monitoring the chart at any time. do not be afraid because it does not have a steady income as long as we have expertise in trading, even the income you receive will be greater than your salary every month. but if we quit the job, without the skills, of course it becomes a hard struggle to survive

Crypto has proven it benefits in the past and many people have gotten what everyone dreams of. I hope you also achieve the same. But I will suggest that you still keep some kind of social contact with everyone else that is present around you and not wholly cut yourself out.

It will be your wrong decision to quit your job for cryptocurrency as the market is unpredictable. If you are keen on involving in cryptocurrency, you can do it without quitting your job.

today there are still many people who trade crypto and benefit from crypto. when people are patient, I am sure that they will get results later. but don't stress too much about the market situation and whatever we do. I have read your post and in the first paragraph, I'm thinking that we are the same. We are both introvert persons but while going to the next lines... I don't want to say anything but another way of advertising your own investment to those newbies. You can advertise anyway but it makes you a stupid investor :D. One of the things an investor should understand is that crypto is never a get-rich quick scheme. Forget everything you heard about people buying lambos from some coins that mooned. It took a damn good long time for those stuffs to happen. So unless you're prepared to risk losing everything you have, then think twice before committing your life savings into crypto investments

That is what you will feel if your work does not match your passion. You will always feel pressured, can't do it with all your heart and will always feel burdened. Being a worker is indeed full of pressure. That's why I chose to become a freelancer, free time and place of work anywhere, and this is quite effective.
Op has chosen a good strategy, hopefully, the results are as expected. Or has it been clarified? anybody know?

It is normal to feel pressured by the boss because we live in the money dominated environment. The previous collapsion of capitalism made me think about the long term goals if the system fails. The centralized system doesn't let the business owners act completely free in third world countries. I don't think you will become successful if you just have a single goal which based on your job experience. Investing in the cryptocurrencies also have good and bad sides, think twice before leaving the daily job just for focusing on the crypto investments. If the bad sides of the crypto investing surpass the good sides, going to do other market activities looks like a better solution for me instead of forcing your trading ability to trade the dusty market. Crypto markets are not controlled by the centralises places and the traders must learn through the decentralised places, knowledge is the weapon of the every successful crypto trader.

The worst way of promoting the project is to shill the coin on the various crypto information platforms. This dude also knows the ethical promotion and its rules but he refers to the shilled coin on separate threads. For organizing the bounty campaign they need to prepare a proper plan for this campaign and the token allocation will cost more. If they think that promoting a campaign with this way brings more attention they are right but the negative attention doesn't mean they will be able to attract more investors surely.  The daily 8 hours job is not as same as the trading daily crypto markets and dying altcoin market makes it deal-breaking for the day traders. Killing the profitability happens usually by the low volatility but the higher volatility than the average financial market can be the reason why so many crypto traders fail.

I know it may not be that profitable at the start but once you really understand how it works and spend your time to study about the cryptos market things probably gonna be way easier for you
When you love with your job never have depressed although you are working more than 10 hours every day, but if you dislike with your job and tired working pass 10 hours every day how much salary you earn you will depressed with your working, now I am in cryyptpcurrency where working more than 12 hours every day on my computer, I got enough earning but I enjoyed with my working because I have fun with my position now.

right. when we love the work we do, then the feeling of boredom will not come, because what we feel is certainly happy in dealing with all problems. therefore it is better that the work we choose must be in accordance with the hobbies we have, so that we carry out work with a happy heart and the results are satisfying

Yes, the point is you have to be able to love your work first because it will make you do it comfortably and sincerely, and in my opinion working 10 hours a day is normal work like someone who works in an office or in a company that I think is more boring but has to do it because of necessity.
and in my opinion working at cryyptpcurrency is more promising and not bound by anyone, and if you want your income to do it and if you feel bored you can stop for a while then go back to work again and cryyptpcurrency is always profitable depending on all the hard work done.

Regular jobs are depressive as you are a full time slave, selling your life time in exchange for money...
I also see in crypto the possible doorway for independance... I've been in your shoes and I had no success as the coins I hold never boomed...
but giving up is not a part of my thing... I'll keep on trying until I succeed

Very good advice I do not work with crypto currencies full time because of the reason I have one of them is the problem of legality from the government because the government still does not fully recognize crypto as a currency that can be used in direct transactions in other words investing in crypto is still using my part-time

I do agree, it's best to quit if OP is unhappy with his current job. Being comfortable with your job is the most important thing in working. Working with long hours and you feel unhappy is not healthy for an individual.
If OP will choose if he will quit his current job and focus on cryptocurrency and he feels comfortable doing that, then it is the best for him.

I love cryptocurrency for this cause too. Infact you could be involved in it a great deal and no one will know you are doing anything, yet you are making alot of money. And  about your job, if the job gives you so much trouble, maybe you can quit and get a better one that suits your personality.  You will be more fulfilled that way

There will be no update about his job or HST token from OP. To me this sounds like advertising. He say how he wish to
run away from his job, many of us wish that, and after that he is talking about investment that can save him, and others.
I don't believe that his story is true.
About HST token, current price is 0.000277$, on CoinMarketCap we can see that all time high was in January 2018, it was
5.8$, and all times low just a two weeks ago, October 17, price was 0.00007$. Now you think about investing in this project.

I pray that on Monday 17.06.19 that I can tell my boss where to shove her job.

This is my escape plan from my depressing day job buy purchasing HST tokens here: https://horizonstate.com/hst/ (https://horizonstate.com/hst/)

It is true that sometimes the full day's work that we do will become very boring and make us uncomfortable with what we do because of the pressure and targets that must be achieved and we will prefer to do something we can do at any time and can provide advantages, of course in cryptocurrency you can get that. But, not everything you do in cryptocurrency will benefit you, sometimes you will experience a period where you are confused to take the next step and slowly fail, but if you feel you can do your best and continue to make a profit from trading then do it.

Doing dayjobs is boring because we have to do repeatable task every day and it will needs more energy when we are doing something that we don't want to do or we already get bored doing that.
This is a usual thing for office worker or any jobs that has reprtitive task. Exiting old job and move to cryptocurrency earning and investing is not bad to do but very high risk. If you have already have savings for your future and feel enough to live with your savings. earning from crypto is the best thing for you, but if you want to still gamble your luck, if the coins that you invested fall down you will have a bad time

If you really want to follow my suggestion, you will not devote your entire thought and time to cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is a risky investment and it will not be a wise idea to leave your current job just for cryptocurrency. You may get much more profits from cryptocurrency than from your job. But at the same time, you may lose your entire savings. You can invest in cryptocurrency without quitting your job.

Real life jobs is more reliable, there is assurance that you will get paid and if your present job is bad just quit and look for another job, as for crypto its not that helping now since we entered bear season so i can't give you assurance that you will be able to live comfortably when working fulltime on crypto

yes I agree with you indeed we should not rely on cryptocurrency as the main job or main income. because it is very risky. the cryptocurrency market is very volatile so that the income earned from crypto is also uncertain. while the necessities of life must be fulfilled. it's better if you feel pressured try to find another workplace. I'm sure if we try hard we will get a new job. and being cryptocurrency as a side job.

Gather experience when you have Job, you can't never make profits in cryptocurrency if you are out of knowledge of crypto. You can invest in any coin until you have money. We are all hate our jobs, it's doesn't matter. Must need huge experience to do daily trading in your house and don't depends on any one coin.

I don’t understand what the problem is. If you don’t like the job, change it. There are obviously many other vacancies in your city. If not, move to another city. Life is one and spending it on depression is pointless.
A very optimistic kind of a person, it's not the end of your life if you are ain't happy with your previous job, move on and find another it's not your obligation to engage yourself to something that you are unhappy. You have a lots of options if you are really tired of dealing with your everyday
activities. Find another company but never to think to switch with crypto if you are not financially capable it will adds the burden.

Not everyone in the world has to get rich, man.

You can make you happier, but you can do a smaller job. You may not make much money, but you can be much more comfortable.

You come into this life once, and don't let them ruin it. Always go after your dreams, you won't regret it.

Indeed. You should not rely too much in cryptocurrency because your earnings in crypto is not that enough to provide your necessities, especially if you are new in crypto or a beginner because you will be earning low profit from the start. So, you should put a lot of time in your real life job because your salary will be enough to provide your necessities, and working in a real life job is for a long term, unlike in cryptocurrency not everybody last long from earning in cryptocurrency. But you could work in your real life job and you can invest in cryptocurrency at the same time for you to be comfortable when it comes earning money.

First of all you must be grateful for having a job. Many people out there are not as fortunate as you. This might be a solution for you in living your days with your work.
I am also a person who invests in crypto even if only in small amounts. And also looking for sources of income from several sites that offer payment with crypto. It is indeed comfortable for me even though I don't meet people because I work in my room all day. But we also need to go out refreshing and meet other people.
No matter how hard your work, it is filled with gratitude

Exactly, it is not like his job would speak to his boss that he is resigning, something like that. The final decision will always be on us, the problem is that people are afraid to lose their job, even it is killing them emotionally, physically, or mentally, they think they can't find another job so they stay and bear the pain (how pathetic is that), being a masochist or a martyr won't bring you anywhere, you're just giving yourself problems that you don't want to have.

Most of the people who don't leave this kind of job gets the worst sickness in the world, like cancer, leukemia, and other deadly diseases, it will cost you much in the long run and the salary you'll have in your job will not be enough to cure you disease (if you happen to have one in the future)

It actually depends on your interest. You should a job that actually fits on your interest. Because if you are just making money for your expenses but it did not making you happy, that is actually not good for you. You should pick or choose a job that is making you happy. A source of income that will bring you joy. Like this I am joining in some bounty campaign just to earn money. It is bringing joy to me because I am working so easy making some posts sharing my thoughts here based on my own knowledge.

In investing in cryptocurrency I personally am not so depressed about the situation as it is today because I have not been able to work full time with crypto currencies because the government in my country has not fully recognized crypto as a valid currency and I still use investments with Crypto currency is a side job to supplement my financial economy

It's hard to depend your living expenses on cryptocurrency only. It's very volatile. If you don't love your job, then find another job that you will love. It's hard to full time on crypto. Do what makes you happy and passionate. Don't push yourself on something that's only stressing you out. But if crypto makes you happy, think if that happiness is enough to fund everything you need. Yes, crypto can but it's a risk. Be practical in your decisions. I think that's the best I can advise you if it's still applicable in your current situation.

take a holiday and go trip somewhere will make our mind fresh.thinking our job and money everyday will make us stress and sometimes give up our own condition.besides take a holiday ,we could trying to love our job more than before, put all of our passion to our job and we will do this happyly without any pressure.if we work in company ,pressure could make us stress but if we were freelancer we will do our job happyly.we could do all task when we want,no one will ask to us.

Taking a vacation and pausing the job activity can harm the financial future of the person. Indeed, having support from the family members and close friends will reduce the stress level caused by the workaholic mentality, by the way spending less time on getting maximum profit from the job activity will lead to spending more time with the close people circle.

True, everyone clearly needs a vacation, especially for those who have a lot of work in their daily lives, of course their minds are very tired, and a good solution is to take a break to calm themselves and the mind, so that when they return to work they no longer feel pressured.

I think you are speculating or investing rather than trading. In order to trade well and practice well, you must choose coins with high volumes and clearly show the trends to start trading and make a lot of money.
and trading is not easy and you need to learn more before you put money into the market too much. good luck ;)

We should take into consideration that although we are earning everyday, our mind and body still need rest too, so let's be careful with our health too, as money can't do anything if our body give up with so much stress and super tired. Most of the time, you are depressed because you don't love what you are doing, so we should make sure  that at least we are enjoying what we are doing so that no matter how hard it is, still we can be able to manage.

Choosing the right project is the most significant thing to do. If your tool is not a powerful one, no matter how good a player you are, you are going to fail ultimately. Weak coins and projects cannot return profit even if they were never scams. Now losing money just due to one wrong decision is definitely depressing. For making money from crypto coins, bitcoin is the working solution.

There is nothing to be grateful about a job that put up a lot of stress in yourself, your health is at risk no matter how big your salary is, it is not important. People nowadays are finding jobs and staying on their jobs because of the salary they wanted, even they are abusing by their boss, shouting at them, cursing on them, it is fine, as long as they keep their job (no thanks)

Why am I saying this? Well, you can't be productive when you have a bad working environment, you'll end up adopting that environment and mostly brings it up in your home, ruining your family mood as well, it is not healthy. It is more important to have a good boss than having a good salary.

One of the biggest problems today is that people work in jobs they don't want.

Because this kind of desk work is killing people's creativity and imagination, that's why people feel depressed.

It's not easy to quit because everyone needs money. You might want to handle the situation for a while and then leave.

Well, that's a good decision; that is to know what we want and go for it no matter what. I think in whatever we do, contentment matters and if it's not there, we won't feel at peace. In addition, I would advice you to ensure you study the risks involved in the crypto space before you resign so you won't have anyone to blame. Also, if you are going into trading, do well to groom yourself with all needed information so you won't end up losing out big; same is for investing as well.

Yeah when you are working in a bad environment you will not feel good as I have passed through this and it really feels stressful and you will not feel relaxed so I think our work must be safe and mentally easy. I think a person must have more than one source of earning than in case of any problem we can quit our job and work on another side so I’m this regard I think crypto investment helps allot.

It's not your job that got you depressed.  You simply just lost interest in what you're doing at work. It's just a simple analysis. Trying to be a full time crypto trader is not 100% sure because you need to calculate the risks involved. You should also know keep your job is an extra advantage. I think you can manage both,  having a job and trading.  It's not advisable you quit cos of cryptocurrency.

If your job is making you feel depressed then won't continue to do that job forever. You will end up in even more depression. You might even get addicted to some bad habits like chain smoking, drinking etc or even drugs. That's why do what you like and don't follow only money or spend some time with the nature.

As I understand you. In my life there was such a moment when I worked for my uncle and was depressed, because I understood that I could not see the financial breakthrough. When I realized this, I started working on the Internet, in particular with cryptocurrency, and I was able to earn good money at the end of 2017. Even then, I realized that I needed to work for myself, not for my uncle.

It was the same with me a while ago. Every day I woke up with the thought that in a few hours I needed to go and endure. To tolerate people and forced myself to talk to them. In fact, there are quite a few such "closed" people. And our salvation, I think, is work on the Internet. And it's what am I doing now. And I feel happy and feel in my place.

Indeed, if our work makes us depressed then we should look for alternative jobs or look for other opportunities. After the internet, many opportunities are available and one of them is cryptocurrency, it can be by trading or for the long term

working alone is fun, without pressure from others. we can develop and express ourselves according to our wishes. especially if you get a big profit, of course it will make us even more diligent to work. many quit their jobs in 2017, because they get financial freedom

I totally understand your feelings because I am also an introvert, whenever I go to a noisy or crowded place I often get stressed and upset, I often need to recharge my energy by going back home and enjoying it. Quiet space, it makes me feel a lot better. That you have to work in that environment is really pressure. However, do not expect to get rich from cryptocurrencies too soon if you do not really understand, a lot of people have lost money in this field, but nothing can stop you, feel free to do what you like. , invest with small projects with small capital and get acquainted, gain more experience. Get more information on resources like the internet, books, electronic money lines, ...
Those are some of my advice, wish you success and live the life you desire

I think it’s not your job that causes depression.  It is important to set yourself up for a positive continuation and positive result of your work, then you really get success.
Staying positive with crypto is not really easy but at the same thing its the perfect solution, i guess this is why not too many people become successful in this life, diversification is the best if you want the best result from crypto into, do not rely on a single coin

Well, we do have freedom to choose what will make us happy, and what job would fit for us, but there is no easy job, time will come no matter how much you love what you are doing, it will come that you will get tired, that you will be stress, and that you will be unsatisfied, so when that day comes, you just need to relax, breath in/out, go to a place that will make you have a peace of mind and let go all those negativity.

I do not want to disappoint you, but I do not hear about this coin anymore. But it is a good marketing story and definitely some people followed the hype and invested in this project. Always be aware and check everything before putting your money into something.

Why do you have to stay in work when you know you don't like it? I trust you can easily get a new job because you are smart. Or if you like crypto currency trading why not start it now? I am sure that here you will get the serenity you want.

if you don't like the job you should look for other ways, as said there are still many jobs that still exist outside the forum. if you don't feel comfortable with work, you will feel stressed every time you do so look for other references to get money

Yes if you are not happy with your job then it’s better to leave it on time as an unwanted job always gives stress. We should keep using more than one source of earning so that if you get stressed with one then you can use the other one. I carry crypto (bitcoin) as an additional source of earning so when to become bored with the regular job I  use another one.

First of all, I will suggest you going for yoga and exercising because these thinks take negative energies out of your body and make you feel relax. Secondly try to figure out the major thing that is bothering you in your job. If it is temporary project of some person, there is no need to worry much but if the concept of your job on the whole is disturbing you, you shall try some other job which goes with your nature.

I understand you. I'm also an introvert and it's hard for me to find the right job for me. That's why I'm here. In cryptocurrency, I really like this opportunity to be left to myself and not feel any pressure from people around me.

May be the guy has no other option. In order to live, we need money. I am pretty much certain that majority of people work out of need not passion or love for work. They earn because they have to fulfill some responsibilities. I would suggest looking for new jobs while he is on board and crypto trading is a must try. For this purpose, I am going to vote for bitcoin as that produces best results.

This is in human nature that we like freedom whatever type it is. People want to be their own bosses rather than working for others and obeying their orders all the time. Crypto is giving people opportunities of achieving financial freedom and this is why many successful traders have started trading as a profession and is no more dong their boring jobs simply by learning trading tricks.
