With many metrics, it's clear that Ethereum is one of the best blockchain projects on the market. However, there are many concerns throughout the industry about the problem of the Ethereum scale. As the number of applications on the network continues to grow, the network has been hit by slow transaction times and higher transaction costs, which has even led to the impending death proclamation of smart contract platforms.
While Ethereum focuses on fixing scale problems, and I think there are several platforms that bet on both of them taking their place as the number one smart contract platform.

Is the ethereum platform always the best in the crypto industry market? and how confident are you about this? give the reason.

Technology changes and innovation comes. Nothing is permanent mostly to the emerging technologies that we are interested with. Ethereum became the hot choice for most of these projects because its easy to build their platform using it.

But the other choice will depend now to the choice of these project makers because there's other platform where they can create now their projects.

platfrom ethereum is one of the best trusted platforms currently in the ico project. even most ico projects are currently using the erc20 platform so I think for now the ethereum platform is one of the ico project leaders among others and this is indeed a fact.

I have been using cryptocurrencies for the third year now and I can say that Etherium and its ERC20 tokens remain the best. Lately, there is a lot of information about the scalability of the Etherium network and the allegedly slow transactions, but if this is the case and there are the best blockchain platforms, then why don't we see their popularity increasing and using ?! They just could not prove their advantages at the moment and for this Etherium remain the best platform at the moment. Moreover, as far as I know, soon Etherium is waiting for an update and the platform will become even better.

Many erc20 projects are shitcoins ,with thousands of coins and tokens on cmc many of them if not half are on erc20 blockchain simply because of its simplicity ,many good projects who use erc20 in the past have already switched to there own block chain ,I will go for from block chain ,it has better projects and they have access to block scam projects from there block chain

Yes, there are several similar platforms (I would definitely add Cardano to the jossiel list), which are technically superior to Ethereum.
In this situation, everything is similar to the interrelation of BTC - the another coins. Namely, Ethereum was the first of its kind. The blockchain is protected by a large number of miners, developed infrastructure. And this is a time-tested platform.
Therefore, some platforms have the potential to surpass, but Ethereum is still the best.

In terms of platforms, there are many companies and projects that use Ethereum because the cost is cheap and the way to use it is easy, but the ethereum platform cannot be said to be the best among others because now the competition is so tight that it can change at times we don't expect .

Yes, for now i think ethereum is the best platform in this industry
and others platform thats already born can not beat the ethereum my friend
but, who knows in the next time, maybe a perfect platform will be born to replace ethereum

For now i think ERC20 still the best and popular platform in the cryptocurrency.  We all know many project appear with Ethereum platform until this time and ERC20 still the best choice.

A lot of others that have wanted to compete with etherium in terms of provide a contract platform have often not made it to light, Wave, Monero, EOS, Neo and a lot others have all not been good compared to etherium. We would see how far Binance will go with their Bep2 platform, but for now, etherium is still taking the lead

as long as ethereum always improves their products much better than now it might be difficult to replace by any platform. but I think there are several platforms that have a great chance of winning ethereum.

1. EOS
EOS is a decentralized application platform. EOS considers itself the most powerful infrastructure for decentralization applications. Similar to Ethereum, this is a supported blockchain platform to create and approve smart contracts.

2. STELLAR
STELLAR is a platform associated with banks, payment systems, and people. or can be categorized as other major competitors. Apart from that Stellar includes Networks that are known for providing fast, inexpensive cross-border integration payments or to transfer money quickly, reliably, and almost without cost.

3. NEO
NEO is a blockchain project that aims to utilize blockchain technology and create what is called the Smart Economy. More specifically, NEOs use blockchain technology and to digitize assets or automate digital asset management using smart contracts using distributed networks.

4. TRON
TRON is dedicated to creating a truly decentralized Internet. this project is consistently much faster than Ethereum. In addition, in the TRON network there are no costs associated with the transaction. This is a distinct advantage for users. This network also supports atomic exchange and has an internal decentralized exchange.

5. CARDANO
CARDANO describes itself as the third generation blockchain and fully dubs itself 'Ethereum Killer'. and use open source code that is academically reviewed to install networks, which will make the base and developer have a strong code base for applications that are built.

Although Ethereum has a clear first mover advantage in smart contracts and a decentralized application sector, among the five projects mentioned above can provide several functions similar to improvements. In some aspects they may outperform their predecessors in the future.

if in personal opinion the ethereum platform is actually the best platform from other platforms, because in general most companies and ico project developers use the platform owned by ethereum. although the competition is very tight but I'm sure ethereum is the best platform at the moment.

Ethereum has created by using simple codes that makes even a beginner can understand about that and this already created by various codes. i can say that was the best platform till this time.
ERC20 still remain the best tokenization asset at this moment. You can see that so many platforms even IEOs are still using it.

Until now I personally still use the Ethereum ERC20 platform, because we know, that some users still use the Ethereum Platform in conducting all trade transactions. and if the problem is lacking in service, I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

so far the ethereum platform has developed well, many new tokens have been generated from this platform. the ico project has become a scope with paltfrom ethereum. so I think platfrom ethereum can be said to be the best platform at the moment.

Ethereum blockchain and smart-contracts are currently so slow, that´s  why we see many successful smart contracts platformbecause they offer speed at first. But do not forget about the security and decentralization!

I like EOS platform, but I think that for the massive adoption, EOS is not good. It is extremely difficult to create wallet and also it is paid! Imagine that you tell about EOS someone and then explain him that he has to pay at first to use the blockchain, when Bitcoin and others are totally free (okay some transaction fees are everywhere) :D.

yes the slow erc20 blockchain network is caused because every second there are many users who make transactions with the ethereum platform. but if ethereum can improve this tissue it is likely that ethereum will still be liked by many people.

I do not know how far the Binance chain intend to go and how they will integrate this with other exchanges as soon as possible, but so far the ERC20 has been the most successful and have birthed a lot of successful projects which a lot have gone launching theirs. If I were to use any platform, it would still be etherium or possibly Binance because of the influence they have in crypto market

You cannot compare all aspect with eth amongst any other cause the concept of other project is quite different. Not all festures of eth can dominate other projects and that is a reality. Eth for me can beat thousands of shitcoin and other competitior but it is not good to say that they behind with other projects cause eth has been the most amazing tokenized platform for everyone I guess.

Not sure of any other platform will be able to take it out from etherium, this has birthed a whole lot and it will be difficult for any platform to meet up with its record, just like bitcoin is the king of Cryptocurrency, etherium is the king of altcoins and it takes the lead of whatever is developed around altcoins. I do not think Binance will ever take the centre stage in the smart contract development. Etherium has gone far and provided a lot dynamics in this, so may apps both online and offline for storing and accessing etherium coins, a lot of plugins. Etherium has it please.

ERC20 is currently the best platform in cyptocurrency, we can see a lot of projects that use this Ethereum platform. For others I think Binance platform will be a competitor for ERC20.

At the present time, the ERC20 platform of Ethereum is still considered the best and most successful foundation. There are many successful projects based on this platform, it will take a lot of time until other platforms can catch up to ERC20.

There are problems in any network, but this is not the most important thing. I personally think that the tokens of the erc-20 standard are more common due to the fact that they are based on the Ethereum network and it is very convenient for any kind of tokens.

I think ETH will still remain the best choice for new projects because its easier to use but I personally prefer tron block chain ,bnb on the other hand will attract many new projects now because of how good the exchange is

For developers yes it is the best platform, but for bounty hunters, we cannot say that there are a lot of developers that are abusing one of ERC20 platform and that is the ability or one of its feature that you can lock and unlock a token they've created, two of the tokens that lock their token indefinitely are Liker and Dexage, this cause a serious concern among bounty hunters.

For me Ethereum base tokens or ERC20 still comprise the majority of tradable tokens in the cryptocurrency market space til today. But i think it will be slowly change since the crypto-space has experience a unsual competition to date more and more blockchain base platforms has made smart contracts a common function, unlike before it was monopolized only by Ethereum Blockchain.

Blockchain is still a new thing so it still growing and we don't know where it is really heading to. But one thing I'm very sure is that people will continue to develop things that are much better than Blockchain. Each one has its flaws and there will be people that will decide to be out just to develop a platform that will be to tackle that particular problem and nothing else. So believe me it doesn't just end here, many of them will continue to roll out every day by day.. For now we have the ones we have and they can only be considered the best till we see the new ones that are able to compete face to face with them.

I think that now maybe the blockhere ethereum is still the main choice. But what do we think about going forward? whether people stay on the blockhere ethereum or move to another blockchain. I think sooner or later people will move over time.

At present most projecks use the ERC-20 platform and this has made ethereum famous. ethereum's influence on other coins is very visible today if we see it.

Well, it that change today and some of the investors are looking for another platform just like EOS.
What it happens to Ethereum price today is somewhat affected into scam ERC-20 project existed in the market. Have these ICO projects give doubts to the people and they'll never get assurance for a profit with them. Having this IEO nowadays will bringing back their trust towards crypto and a lot of new investors putting their money on it.

I see the ERC20 as a platform that is still in demand by most products, the competition for the crypto industry is getting more advanced there is plenty of space on other platforms and I really think about EOS it seems that the platform will become popular the next year well who knows.

Yes Ethereum is a great platform but a dangerous one for bounty hunters, I have two coins probably more coming that are locked, yes this is one feature of Ethereum smart contract that I really don't like, It's very punishing for bounty hunters it's like not giving their bounty hunters a share of their token at all.

The platform of Eth is still taking the lead for now. The number of projects that list on ethereum platform, is able to justify that ethereum is still in use and not only that, it is very useful.
I am also expecting that time that the team of ethereum will come up still ways in which the scalability problems! Can be solved.

ERC is the best but this time it looks like BEP at the same tier with ethereum too. there were only two best assets for tokenization right now ERC and BEP. both look very best asset consider the mass adoption that already happened with it them all

right now the ERC20 is the best for sure, but Binance Chain can overtake it! Because ERC20 platform has plenty of scams, dead project! But in Binance chain, only trusted and the potential project will be listed! After many days, ERC20 platform got a good competitor! Though Binance CEO said Binance is not in competition with Ethereum!

so far the platform ethereum has become an important part of the ico project and there have been many successful projects produced from this smart platform. so I think the ERC20 platform is the best platform at the moment because there is no other platform that is better than the ERC20 platform.

It is all about the utility if you ask me. ERC20 has the metamask and mew and what not all looking like they have been around for a long time whereas others do not have that. So, if you join an ICO and get your coins back on your metamask that will be just chrome extension and will be right under your hand very easily and will be capable of using it whenever you want and however you want knowing full on well it is a good wallet.

However, there is a new contender which is binance chain, it allows your coins to be stored on binance itself lately and that means its a good competitor, its not as good as metamask and now as easy to use but it is a good competition which we all need, good competition makes these companies work to be better and that helps us all.

It depends on what is meant by the term "best" platform . If you mean the popularity and the number of users in the network, then this is definitely ethereum. If we evaluate the network based on scalability and transaction speed, the winners may be different, for example, zilliqa. In addition, you can also divide all networks according to the principle of decentralized / centralized, and if you consider centralization as an advantage, then such a network as a stellar can be your favorite.

There is an adage that I learnt from one of my African friend, he said if you have never gone to another man’s farm, you will think it is your father’s own that is the biggest. The fact that Ethereum is the most popular chain doesn’t mean there are no other chains that is not better than Ethereum, in fact, many has testified to how effective Binance chain and EOS has been, but Ethereum is still having the hype being the first in this area, and being the first altcoins created.

You can search yourself and see how many projects are beginning to migrate to Binance chain, and newly projects are strictly considering Binance chain.

More and more I see swap projects using BEP, I feel the advantage is gradually studying towards BEP. Because Binance made an effort to get their DEX to have a large volume and widely used in the future when Binance was closed to US users.

It is clearly going to be Ethereum, because the most used blockchain for building tokens is still ERC20. But I see a big threat in Binance coin, because more and more projects are swapping their ERC-20 tokens into Binancechain.

yes I agree and like your saying, even though most ico uses the ethereum platform does not mean that nothing is better than that, of course I also believe there are other platforms that are not much different from erc20, such as eos or binance platforms. even I see many projects that use eos or binance platforms too

Not at all, the ethereum transaction speed is quick. It is only about your gas fee.
The more you using the gas fee, the faster your transaction will be processed.
I still think Ethereum is the best coin for companies in blockchain because it has smart contract and good speed.

yes I am very surprised now because it is reported that there will be binance for US citizens themselves.

Many projects have said to replace ETH. But now it seems that no project can surpass the status of ETH. ETH is very large. If ETH can solve the problem of transaction congestion and tariff. Then it will be developed by leaps and bounds. The latest information shows. ETH is updating its technology.

The demands of ETH is still high, we can see the marketcap of ETH is on the 2nd position in cryptocurrency.
Companies are run their products with ETH tokens, and many investors hold ETH tokens in their portfolio.
Based on that, i think ETH is still a good platform to use in crypto industry.

It will not always be, someday surely there will be competitors who can beat ETH. Now ETH smartcontract is too easy to make and it causes a lot of fraudsters to use it, I'm sure if it continues like this one day there will be a new platform that can solve this problem

The demands itself are reflections that there's still many developers who supports ETH platform than those who also trying to recreate their own
versions of platform, it's been a quite a while when those known projects like waves tried to compete with ETH and still the success brings this

if their performance gives the best it is also likely that it will produce good results, but unfortunately in 2018 their performance was quite bad, what was generated from the many platform ERC20 that became garbage. this is what needs to be considered again

There is no perfect platform in cryptocurrency, each platform is something unique, but the most popular platforms in my opinion are BNB and erc20

I like QuarkChain idea of multi-native tokens. If you build token on QuarkChain, you can pay a GAS in your token instead of in QKC coin.

I am pretty hyped on Nuls because of their approach to how anyone can build a blockchain with their out-of-the-box approach. This means that any developer whether having experience with blockchain or not can build a blockchain regardless of language.

ERC 20 is undoubtedly the leader on token platforms. It has the most extensive documentations and a large trained workforce. If you love some learning curve, EOS and Tron's platform for token issuance are too getting popular these days. NEM and Stellar are other popular options.

ERC in 2017 is very extraordinary. but now many have developed. EOS, NEM, TRON, and many more smart contract platform ecosystems. even the chain binance exchange platform that made their own blockchain network began to look a lot. some ERC also began to switch to BEP.

I will never count asset that used on the EOS, NEM and TRON to be a competitor with ERC20 asset because those platforms is not having demand. Binance chain is the only blockchain that issued an asset called BEP20 that can be considered as the main competitor for ethereum.

erc20 is the best, my reason is that the wallet is very simple and easy to understand. to withdraw or deposit tokens, it is also very easy. ease of use is number 1 for use.

Yes, you are right ERC20 is best as of now. Once they start releasing the further level of developments and it will really help the blockchain to improve its standards. Very soon they are going to release ETH 2.0 which will really help the blockchain to improve its standards.

now I prefer BNB and XRP as the ERC20 platform, because this year both of them have become the best performing coins this year, people are starting to feel how this platform works and have made people start taking steps to invest in this coin.
