What makes the Ethereum price a little slow to experience an increase, in the current crypto market conditions. If the price of bitcoin continues to experience rapid growth almost close to $ 10k. I think the price of ethereum will be good if it is above $ 300.

This had happened last few years back in 2017 but after the movement of Bitcoin, all other altcoins follow suits and we will have such happening again. ETH price is not directly influenced by BTC which is the reason that we can see just $10-$20 rise in the prices and accordingly other altcoins prices are fluctuating. But for this reason the price of ETH is more stable unlike what happened in 2017 when the price fell from $1400 to $150.

yes ethereum is rather late, maybe people are still focusing on increasing bitcoin and race to buy bitcoin by selling altcoins, and I think when the price of bitcoin is more stable then the altcoin will start to grow.

all altcoin prices don't experience a good trip right now when bitcoin is in a high position. this is a question. eth should be able to return to a high position accompanying bitcoin but in reality eth still stays in a low position. maybe only time and waiting will be able to answer.

It's always the same in a bull market. When bitcoin starts to bull, people sell most of their crypto assets and buy bitcoin that puts pressure on the prices of crypto. As the sell limits are already placed, alts do move in price along the direction of bitcoin but the selling of alts to buy bitcoin checks the increase and makes it lower than that of bitcoin.

Usually altcoins don't start climbing until Bitcoin is roughly stable, however, Bitcoin is far more dominant in 2019 than it was in the last bull run, so you might not see such stellar gains from Ethereum and the like.

That being said, I do expect Ethereum will retake $500 at some point, but I expect Bitcoin will be around $20k at the same time.

Why are u think that it slow? it raises day by day with all cryptomarket, it is a pretty big coin(i mean capitalization) and of course it cant make a crazy Xes or huge gains, it has organic growth, besides that huge ETH pump was on the ICO hype, nowadays only small amount of the projects use ETH for fundraising, most of them using IEO and exchange tokens, thats why we dont see a fast gains on that bull market.

I have the same feeling that Ethereum is slow after bitcoin. Remember that bitcoin's ATH was $19k and almost at the same time, ETH reached an ATH of $1400. Thinking that way, ETH should be at around $700 now, knowing that BTC is almost $10k. I think you have this kind of thought. But, in the past, ETH was boosted by ICOs. And now, ICOs are gone and ETH's price is purely driven by market.

it looks like your post works out now. both tokens are moving up at the same time with ethereum having a 8% upthrend while bitcoin is at 5%. the market is really back but we are yet to see altcoins move along with the top coins.

The truth is we don't know what makes ethereum slow to increase because bitcoin price has increased and maybe that is why altcoin slow to increase at this moment. But ethereum will increase in the long-term, and you only need to wait for the price to increase back like before. Besides that, you can buy more ethereum while the price is not too expensive.

I am not sure but last last year and 2017 whenever Bitcoin price rises at the same time ethereum price also recently raised in the market. But I am not sure what happened this year only Bitcoin alone showing its potential.

There was a lot of factor to be consider to initiate a ethereum price spike, Comparing 2017 ethereum price growth it was fueled buy those successfully conducted ICO's that hoarding large amount of ethereum and locked it for a certain period, comparing today that usually made by dumping spree. and only portion of ICO was succeeding.

So I'd say, that change is not so slow. Extreme changes in price is not good anyway. It is better to have a gradual increase with substance or reason rather than steep climb with empty promises.

slowly but surely is not bad but its verry good actually  . slowly but surely is better than compare to fast but also drops faster  ( im refering to bitcoin )  .  yet etherium is still not a kind of stable coin because its still volatile , there are times that its value can go up and go down  .the real stable are the ones that does not move ( stable coins such as usdt for example )  .

its not necesary to invest in eth but its still up to the person if he find eth a promising investment . i myself will still stick to  bitcoin   .

It is actually not that slow. I know that in bitcoin terms it is not looking like it is going up that much or even dropping in the past week but if you look at the dollar value bitcoin has been going up a lot so the ethereum dollar value has been going up as well, in fact ethereum has dropped in bitcoin less than bitcoin went up in dollar value so ethereum actually worths more in dollar value.

In any case we would like to still keep an eye on it and should be investing soon because if bitcoin stops going up or keeps going down (basically anything but going down) ethereum will eventually go back to what it was in bitcoin value and that would mean increasin in dollar value by double easily. I don't mind the slow rise in eth prices. We must be grateful for this situation because eth prices continue to rise even though they are not immediately significant. We must be calm and patient. Analyze 2018, when Bitcoin had a price from 11,000 to 13,000 dollars.  At that time the ethereum had a price from 600 to 800 dollars.  Based on this, it is quite realistic to assume that ETH should catch up with Bitcoin and reach $ 800, as it was at the beginning of 2018.

They are done dumping their ETH, it happenned last year as we saw a big drop of ETH from it's ATH of around $1300 to less than $100.

Not only Ethereum is making the slow progress on the market. Aside Bitcoin, almost all the large cap coins are making slow movement upwards. This bull run is quite different from the 2017 bull run which went along with most of the altcoins. Perhaps, traders are now selling for BTC - the reason for the recent rise in BTC price.

I'm sure ethereum will be back trading in the .075-.1 range again, just have to be patient.  As volatile as bitcoin is, it is considered to be stable to how wild altcoins are swinging in price.  While btc only fell 80% or so alts fell over 90% which means they will pump harder than btc this time.

it is one of the factors that makes ethereum grow slowly. because many projects with the ethereum network platform failed, and that made adoption of ethereum less. even though there is a good IEO now, the growth is also different. even the binance launchpad uses the BNB for their sales. several exchange platforms where the IEO now uses their coins to grow.

I think the quick rising of the price of BTC causes the slow price of ETH. I think the key metric is the Eth/Btc ratio, not the Eth/USD ratio. I expect Eth to continue to do well against the dollar but I am concerned that it continues to fail against bitcoin. But I also agree with you that these prices have cycles and usually hodling is a good strategy.
