As we know ETH 2nd best ranking in all the coins and tokens , it's blockchain being used by very big business projects and getting adopted worldwide . It does have its problems , and that is why with frequent updates and upgrades to its technology , ETH is trying the be the best altcoin in this space.

The ETH 2.0 release date has been set in January 2020. So we know there will be very big movement of the price in eth before this date and after that as well . With heavy influence in whole of crypto space, Along with bitcoin ETH will be going to places in price rise.

Now we all know currently ETH has 106 million in circulating supply . about x6 of BTC. Usually eth follows btc price. So if btc will reach 50k by end of 2020, we should expect ETH to be around 8k by then (only if we calculate according to the supply numbers) . But we all know ETH is highly undervalued right now .

So I have two  questions

1. What do you all think ETH Price will be ? 

2. Why do you think that price will be possible ? Give us a reason be it technical ?

Lets speculate only until Dec, 2020.

If the ethereum has already reached the rate of almost $ 2,000, then we can assume that the price will probably increase x2. But only a large number of investors will be able to influence this. As for why this should happen, a weighty reason for me is the transfer of a coin to a new algorithm pos, since it does not require costs and is available for everyone, you will not need to use video cards and asics.

It's hard to speculate we can only get the true picture if we can solve these scamming by using Ethereum platform, and the too many hacking that is happening in big exchanges, if people can transact safely and people are educated on how to safeguard their coins and trade effectively then we can expect a good price for Ethereum probably $4000.

Projects operate on Ethereum platform or non-Ethereum platform, they all can be scam projects. That depends on their team, not platforms on which their blockchains operate. The key point for the coming growth of Ethereum is itself, and its promised upgrade, that delayed from time to time.

Nobody can predict ETH price by the end of 2020, now the price is decrease again to $267. I hope the price will recover and increase like Bitcoin performance in this year.

Apart from the release of ETH 2.0 later, another reason is the support of various projects that are within the ethereum ecosystem itself and we also cannot underestimate the big and strong ethereum community. However, let the market answer later, and most importantly, don't miss ETH in our portfolio.

I think that the maximum price of ETH can rise this year is $ 1,000. and this price is only possible when the Altcoin season begins. there are no fundamental reasons for growth now

Actually I'm waiting to see if altcoins will benefits from the next bitcoin halving in 2020 if not then altcoins will be in trouble because many investors might give up and choose bitcoin instead,if ETH doesnt make it to a thousand plus it will be a bad news for altcoins

1. i think the price of Ethereum will be around 2x/3x which around 500$ or 800$
2. Because of the feature which is POS so everyone that wants to mine ethereum without any mining rig can mining the coins

By end of 2020 in my opinion eth should be atleast 2500 to 3500 but if we analyse the last all time high price of 1400 we can expect eth to do even better with new all time highs of around 5k mark but nothing is guaranteed and only time will tell.

Keeping in mind the upgrades coming and faster and cheaper transactions on the eth network that will also increase usage and adoption im sure eth price will moon but i cannot quote any figure as of now but chances of longterm parabolic run is there.

it is very difficult to know what the price of ethereum will be more profitable if you invest in it while its price is low and sell when the price rises for your money to earn more.

1. In 2017 ETH once touched above $ 1000 and everyone certainly knows that, I think the price of ETH might increase sharply by 10x from the previous ATH

Predicting price is a very difficult issue, we have no basis to confirm the price of any future altcoin or bitcoin. But I myself will think that by the end of 2020 the price of ETH could reach $ 5,000 if the market continues to grow as it is now.

This seriously depends on the Bitcoin price. If Bitcoin price goes +100000 USD, then Ethereum should go above +5000 USD at least. I don't think the market will go that high in such short time, but a general prediction to guess the ETH price in December this year will be above 1000 USD.

We don't need to be technical here because at the end of the day, ETH is also a speculative asset just like bitcoin, although I'm sure majority might not agree with me. Barring all competitions, I think Ethereum will have a massive growth in 2020. And I will be positive that there is a possibility that it can hit another all-time-high. After all it still the top alt coins so I doubt that we won't see some progress in the next coming years, specially if Ethereum 2.0 will go live in 2020.

If those development would be a success, we can pattern ETH's growth to BTC.
Therefore, it should make the current price now very cheap, imagine if it would really happen that ETH will reach $8K than time, that would be over 30X increase of the current price, that's a lot of return for investors and that would also give big success for ETH. I'm hoping for this.

I hope that the ETH price will increase significantly until the time until December 2020. But we don't know for sure what ETH price will be at the end of 2020. but certainly ETH will address good developments and I believe that.

I only trust two coins that have a huge potential in the market Bitcoin and Ethereum and people should continue to trust these two coins your observation and prediction is very near to reality, I hope it will come true 2020 is just around the corner.

So far, it is difficult to say what price ether will be able to reach by the end of the year. It does not show rapid growth as bitcoin and it seems to me that the situation so far does not look very positive. I hope that soon everything will change and ether with the rest of altcoins again will show what they are capable of.

why do you think that bitcoin price should be at 100k$ for ethereum to reach 5k$?
as you can see that ATH of ethereum price reach around 1.4k$ at that time there is no info about Ethereum 2.0 so if the update later is success maybe the price will be over ATH?

The adjustment of the ETH in the last 2 weeks has caused many investors to feel disappointed that this coin is no longer valuable and the continuous panic sell in this market is something that many houses long-term investment does not want. I think ETH will soon return to the $150 price by the end of this year and if worse, all investors will not be able to make a good profit in this period.

this is only an estimate in my opinion, if ethereum 2.0 upgrade is true and the crypto price situation is good, maybe eth prices could increase, but it might return in early 2018 (1000 dollars) but if the bear market will occur at the end of 2018, forget this estimate.

Ethereum is fast emerging as a major cryptocurrency.  I am sure it will appreciate because of its usage and application. My bet would be 600-1 k. depending on market condition.

I'm just predicting ethereum prices will reach around the price of $ 500 for this year. The current conditions are very different from 2017, when the price of bitcoin rises quickly ethereum also follows. Unfortunately it doesn't happen at this time. Very slow in price growth.

Price wil grow if ETH will start to bring something new in the market, somehow their strategy should be reviewed considering their importance in the market, it is no more just a project.

The growth trend of this year is not the same as other years. This year there isn't no big growth on altcoins with the growth happened with bitcoin. This has already made a big difference between the price of bitcoin and altcoins when it reached the ath of the year 2019 till date.

How the growth pattern gonna vary is completely unpredictable, and what we experience at this moment looks to be some form of price correction. This could take the price low to $200 if the bitcoin go low to $7000. Further when the growth of bitcoin gets initiated, can experience growth between most of the altcoins to grow along with bitcoin.

I do believe that eth platform has still so much to offer to the crypto community. I can't speculate how much they would be by the end of this year, but definitely more than $300. Unlike all the other shitcoins created, eth has strong foundation and the developers are really working on improvement and advancement of their platform. So yes, they will grow in the coming months and already cemented their status in the community as one of the respectable cryptocurrencies here.

The Ethereum foundation has been quit silent off late and i don't really know what is up their sleeves but i am very sure the price of Ethereum will surge high when Etheruem updates to either plasma technologies or Sharding technologies. The price of Ethereum would be over $500 in the first quarter of next year.

It took more time to turn this assumption into reality. The value of the price was still unexpected, so the market was too slow to gain better price a month ago, and I tried to recover from a very serious situation.

$2,000 by next year does not seems like a realistic number. The price of ETH could be $600 next year if people don't stop investing in it.

ETH was one the coins I liked when I first joined the crypto space some years ago. I realized that the coin has so many potentials I will make more gains from it. Due to this I invested largely into it but now I've lost interest in. For now my predictions for this token by the end of 2020 is not more than $2K.

No one can actually predict the possible market value of Ethereum for 2020. The crypto ecosystem is currently unpredictable considering the price changes of most altcoins as of january 2019 till now. But the possible assumptions that can hold is making estimations in a range of possible prices. Based on my personal observations, the possible range of price I see Ethereum attaining in 2020 will be between $250 to $700. But for the actual price value, no can predict that.

We can take a look at the fundamental of ethereum right now and try to make a comparison with the ethereum chart in 2017 while bitcoin worth 10k and we will get the answer, ethereum has decreased a lot on its demand and this coin will not more than $500 in 2020. 2k looks very difficult to happen and the market was going to another direction caused by IEO.

Eth has not decreased a lot in its demand even though ADA and others has come to fore, its cos of its forefront of alt coins from starting . It will always have a store value and will be always like bitcoin of altcoins. Actually its ETH which more and more businesses are using for their businesses instead of BTC . And after 2.0 in jan2020 , it might be on a very big rise . It also depends upon the total supply limitation which vitalik was joking about, but if the community votes into it then they will consider it as they once had that proposal

I think it all depends on this new developments. From what I understand (maybe I am wrong and if I am then please correct me) ETH supposed to become a staking coin one day but it hasn't happened yet, they were also trying to do more things with the core and they still haven't, they managed to improve on some stuff but there is still a lot of work to do.

So, if those things happen in the 2020 and then they were liked by the public as well then it will get another huge bull run and would get to a crazy price, however if they fail to do it or they do it but not liked by the community then I doubt it will become anything bigger. They are still the number one altcoin and number two overall so even if they "fail" they won't be like this crazy low obscure coin, they are still ethereum so it will be fine.

The way things are going. Ethereum may not perform too well in 2020 as coins like Neo and wave are becoming more popular this days. I have been see ethereum trying to make a significant move but it is not as it used to be and many time it finds it very difficult to remain bullish when bitcoin is going up like it happen in 2017 and early last year.

My expectation is that ETH this year will at least reach $ 500. Simply because I found that other altcoin top has increased by 4 or more while ETH has only increased the highest 3 times. And the market is a bull, so all is possible. ETH / BTC has been at its lowest level since December 2017

I will not dispute the fact that Ethereum will at one point reach $2000 which may even be more, but I don’t think Ethereum can be on this value till 2020. Take note of the “TILL” that I said, and what I mean by that is that there is every possibility that Ethereum will hit that target in the next bull run, and I expect most Coins to have a record of another ATH in the next bull run, which we all know the effect of when coin reach their ATH.

It means that the market will go back to bear, when people would have started selling off their investment which usually make most coins dump in value, it is expected that we will witness the major bull run between January and June which all coins would have set a new ATH, which means that anything from June, we should be welcoming bear market which will make some coins record another All-time Low.

For me, I did not doubt on this that it is always on the second placer of bitcoin but if you think that Ethereum can surpass Bitcoin. Well, that is a big no. Ethereum has a great blockchain technology used, usually, all project was made that base as of now on ERC20 which under control of Ethereum. 2. Now the crypto world is surviving a bad time and now the price of all crypto is lower than ATH. the crypto market price depends on the BTC price that we all know. So I think 2020 will be a big year for the crypto world where BTC will run on the moon and all altcoin also follow BTC. previously we saw that btc touched 20k$ and Eth touched near 1400$. So I think btc will crosee 30k$ on DEC 2020 and eth will touch 2000$.

Will that is another year to risk and I'm not certainly be saying that ETH will go high or go down. What ETH has shown by now, I think there is no difference. The market remains volatile and thus, Eth won't ever keep in moving either high or low.

I don't think ethereum will break 400$ resistance anytime soon unless bitcoin bullrun continues and favour altcoins all together,I'm hoping that if bitcoin can reverse for good correction then ETH will benefit a lot but with the upcoming btc halving ETH should be able to get back to 1500$

Probably everyone here knows that no one could actually tell what could be the future but if we are going to base on the chart movement of the price of ETH. We might get the closest prediction of the price but after the halving of Bitcoin next year, things might change accordingly and that would make a little harder to predict the closest price of ETH by the end Dec 2020.

It is too soon to predict anything about Ethereum price in end days of 2020 (next year), because bitcoin halving effects have not come yet. The halving of Bitcoin will occur in May next year. We should wait till that period to see how bitcoin price moves and how crypto market reacts with this, includes Ethereum. There are other factors come from Ethereum itself, such as upgrades to PoS, and more things. I think that predictions should be made only before May 2020.

At the moment it is truly hard to predict the perfect price of ethereum by the end of 2020. By this year end I believe that the price will go higher to $500 as ethereum has already marked ath of the year above $350. There will be assured year end growth and the market too is quite bullish. All these factors will account for a growth in the value of ethereum go above $500. As more special events were scheduled for the year 2020, the year end price could reach above its previous ath.

I also hope that what you say can come true because I have great faith in ETH and are holding some at $250, so it will definitely be my long-term investment in the period because now ETH was the only option for me . Ethereum will grow at the end of the year 2020 and for the price, I think it is difficult to predict. I personally see the condition until now that Ethereum is still the second coin and this coin still has a very large sales volume. This convinced me that Ethereum will continue to grow until 2020.

it depends on how the market moves. the update plan from ethereum will still be done next year. it is not impossible to increase demand in the market later this year. but we will wait for how the market moves.

The Price of ETH is so damn unpredictable right now, I want to see it gain a high price when 2020 comes. but the price has dropped again to 200$ after it finally reached 300$ again for a long time.

The problem with ETH today is, it only takes a little time to dropped again can't even hold its price. I wonder when Etherium 2.0 will get its price to maintain on a higher level.

No one can predict what will be the price of eth in the year 2020 and in coming year, as long as the project keeps on building and enhancing i can tell price will increase significantly as every year will pass.

This is nothing new since manipulation do exist everywhere no matter what we do. All we could do is to hope that our investment will give a profit that we are expecting. Ethereum 2.0 will have the possibility to increase the price but just like what you have said such price manipulation will do happen during that time.

everything can happen, but you have to see how the investment trend and ETH trade works. this year is not very good for ETH, although there have been some improvements, there are still too many decreases, and there are too few improvements.

I beleive strongly in the long-term future of ETH. Price speculation is just that - speculation - but I would expect crypto prices in general by the end of 2020 to be considerably higher than now. I don't think it's unreasonable to suggest ETH might hit a new ATH by then, maybe $2k.

I think that it is very simple to say that you do not believe in ethereum and do not give any justification for your opinion.  Have you imagined what will happen on the entire cryptocurrency market if Ethereum falls?  Please note how many percent of the total number of coins in the entire cryptocurrency market uses the erc20 platform.  I think the fall of Ethereum is a disaster.  But this will not happen, because today Ethereum is developing and attracting more and more investors.  Even with the help of some resources, Ethereum can already be used as a means of payment, while taking into account the speed of transactions, Ethereum in some sense is superior to Bitcoin.

That 2-3K USD for ETH is very hard to happen there is demand needed before that price can be reach. The demand of eth is decreasing more shit token been created day by day but that will never add any demand for eth unlike before.

ETH is a very good technology coin in this market and the demand for investment has been increasing recently so the price increase will only be a matter of time. I disagree with you mate. I have always been a believer of Ethereum's functionality. Given also the fact that this crypto had become the foundation for numerous cryptocurrencies in existence. And with the upcoming Istanbul Hard Fork in which will make certain that the network is cheaper, faster and more scalable, Ethereum is going nowhere else but up and definitely staying.

Right now there is no big growth happening, for the year 2020 there is halving of bitcoin and ethereum has a special occasion of transition. This will surely make some changes in its market. Considering this, I expect the price of ethereum to be higher than $1000 by the year 2020.

If the Bullish will start and ETH 2.0 will be successfully launched by next year then i believe that the price of Ethereum will be at $1000 - $2000 range by the end of 2020 because ETH 2.0 developer has full of promised that Ethereum will be more faster and reliable platform in which most of the crypto users are looking for specially the ICO and IEO to support their future projects.

I think there won't be much movement in the price of ethereum in 2020, if there would be any it will be by the virtue of bitcoin block halving. If the price of bitcoin will go up then the price of ethereum will definitely go up.
As ethereum 2.0 is launching in 2020 January, it will require at least an year or a couple of years before its true potential is realized and that will be the time the ethereum will gonna see a price rally.

I have a similar opinion about ethereum, I predict in 2020 there will be a bullrun for the price of bitcoin. And this will have
a positive impact on the price of altcoins that will follow. Including the price of ethereum that will huge pump. I predicted
that the price of ethereum at the end of 2020 would reach $ 1500, it was due to the effect of the release of ETH 2.0. And

ETH would be pump just in the next altseason. other than that, i m doubt ETH or even most of altcoins would be pump.
if altseason happen, 2x-10x is easy to reached. but in this case you just give time until Dec, so it would go nowhere. bcz altseason hasnt happened

You cannot look at the past prices and then think that since we already reached 1400 for each ethereum then we are going to see an even higher price in the future, the market has changed since 2017 and for ethereum this change has not been for the better, icos are no longer popular and are slowly being replaced by icos, there are many platforms that can do the same as ethereum and bitcoin is more popular than ever, when I see all of this I do not think a new all time high is on the cards for ethereum during the next year.

I also feel that the closest estimated prices are $ 300 and $ 400. I see people predicting prices on the ehtereum on the thread and most of them predict prices around $ 200 - $290. Well, I think that makes sense too, but I am absolutely sure that those who predict $ 500 and even $ 1,000 are really optimistic about ethereum  :D

Im pretty sure that ethereum has a bright future next year and maybe by the end of 2020 ethereum price already surpass its all time high last 2017.

That is by far the safest and the most likely of all the predictions a price between 300 and 400 dollars is completely possible at the end of 2020 because we have seen that price recently, however the conditions of the price of bitcoin at that time will be very influential as well, if bitcoin is going up in value as well then I think the prediction of a price between 300 and 400 dollars will hold, but if the price is a stable it is possible that investors will put their attention in ethereum and the price will go up even more.

we are only able to predict and speculate about the price and development of a coin such as ethereum and altcoin ... and as you say that ethereum will release ETH 2.0 will help the growth of ETH prices later and I am sure ethereum prices will rise to $ 1K by the end of 2019 before ETH 2.0 was released .

This is my personal opinion and whether you believe it or not. I know the market has been on a downward trend these days because sharks are gathering coins of good alts and they are waiting for the ripe time to start pumping prices. As the daily chart shows that the value of ETH and BTC are at the bottom of the latest trend, this means that it is about to create a new trend and we will see its price surge without news.

Predicting the growth of ethereum had some coincidence earlier, but these days most of the price predictions takes place in the opposite manner. Once after ethereum marked its ath the fall began and further 2018 was predicted to mark a big growth. Things didn't happen as expected, and there is drastic fall that took price fall low to $50. With the ongoing price growth 2020 is expected to make bitcoin touch at least $800.

This scenario would be possible if the price of ETH depended only on its development. Unfortunately, but the ETH price is still dependent on the BTC price (just like the rest of the entire cryptocurrency market), so it not will be so easy to reach even $800 if whales want to manipulate BTC price around halving event.

Let's suppose that your prediction holds true and that bitcoin and ethereum both growth as much as you say by the end of 2020, if that happens then it doesn't make a lot of sense to hold ethereum, ethereum is only going to grow about four times while bitcoin is going to grow about seven times so even if you are making money by investing in ethereum you still believe that bitcoin is going to grow even faster and as such it doesn't make a lot of sense to invest in ethereum if such a scenario holds up.

Everything depends on BTC and its dominance. Hardly doubt that ETH is able to reach 1k USD, while BTC dominance would be around 60-70 percent. Crypto market needs a hard push, so ETH will have space for price increase.

The altcoins have the potential to make a new higher high point on charts without the higher BTC price, in my opinion. The dominance of Bitcoin is the good point here but I doubt the dominance falls under the %60 in the next year. The price of ETH will go to $700 if the bull market happens due to the good news(halving).

It is not really hard to believe that ethereum could reach 1000 dollars for each coin if the bitcoin dominance remains at this level, what it will need to happen is for this market to enter in a huge bull run that allows bitcoin to surpass its previous all time high, at current prices that means that bitcoin will have to reach 50000 dollars in order for ethereum to reach 1000 and a price of 50000 dollars for each bitcoin is not completely unrealistic during the next five years.

It really depends what price Bitcoin will be at the end of 2020. I think Ethereum will still maintain the 0.018 to 0.04 maximum ratio to BTC price. Let's say Bitcoin reclaims $20,000 and Ethereum will be around $360 to $800. But certainly the likelihood that ETH has bottomed out is more strong.

The price of ethereum in 2020 is between $200 - $300 ( I guess), this is if the price of bitcoin only increases a little. because I'm not sure about the conditions in 2020, for now I'm not sure to predict the price of bitcoin including ethereum will experience a high price increase.

Well, it really depends on bitcoin price, I guess. For the past week ethereum price were going in circles around $150ish. We're already in December now, but the price is totally different compared to early November which is only last month. I'm not really sure what will be the price by the end of this year, if it reaches $200 is already good enough, higher will be good as well lol. I'm not really expecting a very high price. I mean, keep your expectations low so you won't be too dissapointed.

Maybe the price of ethereum will depend on the price of bitcoin . 
If bitcoin will recover back to 10,000$ by the end of the year ethereum will also follow reaching 250$ price again.

Not now but soon as possible it will be change by people by investing again in ethereum and other altcoins and hopping it will get back to normal price of altcoins as possible to ethereum and bitcoin.

If there is big rally in bitcoin there is a possibility that people will be selling of the alt coins and start investing in bitcoin and that wont be a good sign for the entire altcoin market and that is what i expect if there is a huge rally in bitcoin and then when the bitcoin rally ends and the market starts to go down then we might see a rally in the altcoin market, what ever it may be i am not expecting ETH to touch an all time high valuation anytime soon.

Well i assure you that there will be a lot of good happening in crypto by next year.  Bitcoin halving will take place again , so expect a price rally on bitcoin ,ethereum and on other altcoins before the end of 2020,  ETHEREUM is still a good investment for long term , and before 2020 ends etb price might skyrocket going to 2000$.

You'd be surprised how fast prices can go up once they get going.  $2000 is more than possible given a year's time.

We cannot expect a price rise like 2017 for Ethereum again. It can go up a few times to somewhere between $500 - $1000 by end of 2020.

The highest increase in ethereum was in early January 2018 and after that it has continued to decline until now. and I do not believe that at the end of this year it will break $ 200 because the influence of bitcoin is quite pronounced. but if in 2020 there are many possibilities. it could be when the peak of the highest price of ethereum actually occurred in 2020, that's the desire of many people of course. we see in early 2020 how will the movement lead to positivity.

eth prices depend on btc prices are reasonable, but we can not be certain how much eth prices for 2020. the influence of eth 2.0 might significantly boost eth prices, if it is true that is a realistic reason for eth prices to increase significantly.

By Jan 2020 ETH 2 will be effective, Eth price will start rise till the end of 2020 value of Ethereum will reflect as $2500-3500, and bitcoin will be near by $50K , Ethereum will be called as a commodity in market and due to some extra feature of ETH it will have more benefit then other projects !

It is really hard to predict and expect on what will be the price of ETH as well as the other alternative coins as of this moment. But of course we all do hope the best things to happen even before this year ends. In my point of view, it will be a great progress if ever ETH price value will rise up even near to the range of $1,000 which is just like on the year 2017. But still, we can't further say what can still happen because maybe time will tell, ETH will just sudden get into a boom at the times we do not expect it to happen. Just keep on believing into the process since we all do want the best not just for ETH but also for the whole crypto community as well.

I really want to see exactly what you are talking about.  I hope that not only Bitcoin and Ethereum will rise in price in the coming years, but also the prices of coins of other promising projects.  Just according to your words, it can be assumed that the price will rise after the launch of Ethereum 2.0, but this can not affect other cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin.  So something else must happen, Cheggo is not today.  But to answer this question is almost impossible.

Ethereum reaching 400 to 500 dollars at the end of 2020 seems like a fair prediction, not long ago we saw ethereum reaching almost 400 dollars so it is to be expected that such price could be reached once again if the market conditions allows it, however for that to happen we need bitcoin to be more stable after all if traders can make a lot of money trading bitcoin they are not going to be too interested in trying to invest or to trade ethereum which is not going to give them better profits.

There's a lot of ifs here, but IF DeFi takes off like it looks like it's going to, IF staking a minimum of 32 ETH becomes lucrative, then ETH will probably 10x from where its at right now.  But that will likely take longer than the end of 2020.  End of 2020 my spitball guess is $417 if the above IFs start taking shape.

I cant tell yet by end of this year or coming year of 2020 etherium will be have more surprising it comes. But we need to believe that would be a high price for etherium happen and as of now we need to buy more etherium and holding it until that time.

ETH prices are difficult for us to predict every year, speculation we can do but not all exactly as we want, in my analysis the price of bitcoin has begun to increase from before, if bitcoin rises then the price of actcoin will follow from behind including ETH altcoin which has the potential, we all hope that ETH will recover soon from the beginning of the year until the end of 2020

We all hope that ethereum will make some progress in next period, especially after upgrade. For some time ethereum price is declining, since june and the highest price this year ethreum is down for 50%, and that's a lot. Many of us wait for ethereum to make some break trough, what we can do now is to hope and if we can to buy some while price is down, but even that is a huge question to buy now or to wait price to go deeper, which can happen easily with eth price.

You should not expect ethereum to reach those kind of prices, when this happened the ico craze was as strong as ever and people were excited with all kind of projects that promised to take over the market and replace bitcoin but now we know that is impossible and icos have shown they were scams all along and now the ieo market is going through the same process, so it is not like there is an interest in ethereum big enough to cause such abrupt increase in its price.

When the Istanbul was the new ETH update, the market seemed to revive a bit while engulfed in the bear market.  Perhaps this is the coin I trust the most in the market, it has a huge impact.  I am sure in the near future it will return to the market.

While I hope that is the case I have my doubts the attention of almost all the investors is in bitcoin and in no other coin, and this is understandable after the crash that we suffered in 2018 people have lost confidence in altcoins, and even if we know that ethereum is by far the best altcoin in the market investors still lost the confidence in it that is why the upgrades that we are seeing are not enough to revive the coin, but at some point that tendency has to change and the next year seems like a good candidate for that to happen.

I'm actually still not sure about ETH 2.0 in January 2020, it will push the price of ETH, I still see some events for falling prices but don't know when it will come, if that happens maybe I can only predict the ETH price will only touch $ 3500 until the end of December 2020, hopefully my prediction is wrong, my reason is because 2020 is the year where the crypto hunting community is no longer patient in a stuffy room

I think it's safe to say there's not going to be anything bit releasing for it by the end of the month. Therefore, I expect more of the same that we've gotten this whole month. Not much movement. It won't be until the heat of the next bull run that we could possibly see those 2017 prices again. If the new update comes out and we're in the middle of a bull run, we could see even higher prices than that all time high. It's going to all depend on the hype surrounding ETH and how the market is performing at the time of release.

I think it will also move the price when bitcoin price goes up. By the next year 2020, there's a big event coming and that is a block reward halving and others expectation bitcoin will pump up at that time, so probably ethereum also tied up on this movement price and technically, my speculation ethereum price will go to the moon once bitcoin will be rising up soon.

Well, as of now there is still many speculations that eth will be more surprising in 2020 and I don't think this month or end of the year will be the perfect time to accumulate more eth. I will wait for 1st or 2nd week, maybe. I am trying to give my big hope to ethereum to earn more profit because btc price is still not in a good condition.

And that is why the price of ethereum is having such problems to go up again, at that time most of the demand came from people that wanted to get ethereum because they were interested in investing in icos, in fact I remember that back in those days many of those icos did not even accepted any other cryptocurrency other than ethereum if you wanted to invest in them and this increased the demand for ethereum to unexpected levels, but since icos are in such a bad shape this also has an effect on ethereum and if it wants its price to recover then ethereum needs to find another way to generate demand.

As i follow Ethereum updates with pricing and hard-fork, it look like we need to wait for some more time to see good rise in the price. ETH 2.0 should have some remarkable output with blockchain technology and the price by end of 2020,

I doubt if that will come true consider about the last hardfork gives nothing to the price of ethereum. the blockhalving is schedule to happen next year but bitcoin doesn't evne show a good traction to answer the news about halving time. Ethereum may stand at this level too. we will see it as soon as possible.

I think so as well, many are thinking that altcoins are going to go up in value just because bitcoin has a high chance of doing that in the next year, but if you begin to analyze what happened during this year it is not difficult to see that even if altcoins recovered some of the value they have lost over the years bitcoin a coin that is several times larger than ethereum was able to grow way faster in average than most altcoins, so I do not see why this tendency should change when the interest in bitcoin during the next year is going to be many times higher than what it is right now.

As long as the price of Bitcoin goes up, then the price of ETH will rise soon. And with the current market, I believe that in 2020 ETH will cost at least $ 300 and maybe even higher than this price. ETH is the best altcoin in this market, the current price is too cheap for us to buy and hold

While I think you are giving a fair prediction about what the price of ethereum could be during the next year that doesn't necessarily mean that it is going to be a good investment, if ethereum reaches 300 dollars by the end of the next year then you are going to more than double your money and that seems to be great but we know that ethereum needs bitcoin to go up and if bitcoin triples its price then suddenly the growth in ethereum does not seem to be that impressive.

throughout 2019 ETH only reached the highest price of 366$, like in 2020 the price will be reached, because looking at one of the Parabolic SAR indicators for the weekly time frame the Parabolic SAR point is already at 156$, so I think the price is 156$  it will be easy to pass so that in 2020 a bullish trend is very likely to occur.  moreover, ETH will be boosted by the news of ETH 2.0 so I think it will be very good news for the development of ETH itself.
