I visited to their twitter and found that they are asking to keep ready bitfinex account for investment. So that's mean in this sale investors have to go through bitfinex account?

Blockchain allows developers to build a community with tokens that could be used within the community to pay for stuffs while every app could equally interact with other gaming apps in the community. I guess that’s what you’re trying to build here. I think I like your idea. And btw you have a cool UI/UX

i watched "ready player one" i really want that to be the future of gaming, i envision a world where games have no boundary, when you work, play and learn you can carry your game around. i believe ULTRA is one step in that direction. And your team are made of capable parties.

Yea, that's a pretty good movie and showcases the futuristic evolution of the gaming industry, it also identifies the need why such shouldn't be left in the hands of individuals, that's where the blockchain industry comes in, as it allows individuals to have access to their database and decide what to do in the ecosystem without interference of individuals or corporate bodies

Well it's really a good way of having a good connection  between the developer and player. I mean it's like they are on the same forum / platform where they can connect to each other.

This is such a cool concept. I honestly have big hopes for the future of blockchain and gaming as a whole. I saw they have 100 developers already lined up to launch their application on the ultra platform.

An answer to your question was posted few post count away from yours. In summary the project is all about integrating blockchain technology with gaming industry. So future purpose, do kindly read previous posts before asking questions.

Blockchain is quite a welcome development in the technology industry, imagine having access to platforms which on a good day can't be accessed by the conventional means because of some bureaucratic process but with this technology, life is much more simple and its all about what you can offer and your imagination that one needs to become successful

From the information obtained in the thread I think you have got own blockchain which is good feat by itself. Do you allow for interoperability from other chains?

Seems scammy. A massive list of the team and pictures of them?? That is a massive redflag. THe site is like all other sites. It has a fancy landing page with auto scroll. There is a video so they put some effort in.
I see some screenshot of games and a store. Do you guys really think this project is going to make a gaming platform >.< Come on.

I've seen people mentioning the upcoming IEO, however I am really not impressed.

The project has been kicking around since last year, if they can only manage to gain funding because it's now a bull market then I'm not convinced.

Surely the concept of a blockchain powered gaming platform sounds cool, I just can't realistically put money into a project that is relying on FOMO to succeed.

I guess it’s just an error. Ultra IEO would be hosted on Ethfinex. It’s one of the best and most secure cryptocurrency exchange out there. I think Ultra would be listed after that.

Ultra is platform where developers can develop/create new games or it will only allow game distribution? If we can developed games then will it be using Blockchain language.

Great to see you’ve got a good tokens metrics plan to keep the value of Ultra tokens always at a good price. I think tokens burn and lock up is a good option to keep the amount of tokens in circulation low and demand high.

Tokens burning is fine. But tokens lock? All tokens will be locked by default or only token bought by big investors will be locked. If all locked then how trading can start :)

Yea, some projects do lock their tokens over a stipulated period of time to create some sort of value for themselves as oppose to token burning, the question is, will it solve the problem of token value?, i must admit it does help but the fact is, its all base on the effort been put in by the brand and their team and how far they are willing to go in order to achieve success

I agree with both of you. Tokens burning always better than tokens locked. I seen some projects that they are loosing value due to keep tokens locked for long time and it's really not good for project.

Even I don't really have an experience using that Exchange but I know it's really one of the good exchange because when it's new I also tried to monitor it. Anyway I guess IEO participants really had a chance on getting listed after that event.

Good point,  team should come and explains the benefits or the reason behind choosing token lock.  Otherwise team will lose confidence if they don't understand benefits.

It's a norm that a project token gets listed on an exchange after a successful IEO. So I'm certain that Ultra token (UOS) would be listed on Ethfinex after the token-sale. I hope that the IEO would be successful as the project seem to be on popular demand since it was able to raise over six million dollars on the pre-sale.

The team where able to put in place some control measures to ensure that the tokens are not completely sold to a few whales who could manipulate the price effortlessly. The maximum contribution that could be made by an individual in the tokensales is 2500 USD while the Minimum amount is 20USD.

Yeah, after IEO on exchange, the project in question gets listed on the exchange but this isn't automatic one has to wait for official announcement from the exchange. I assume it'll be the same process here.

Once the IEO is over they would be checking the details about how many tokens sold and and how much amount they collected. Then tokens transfer to exchange accounts of users and then actual trading will start.

I don't understand what blockchain languages mean. But what I know is that they are creating a community for gamers and developers on the blockchain.

Such is really needed because at the moment, most members of the cryptocurrency community only believe in getting the tokens and selling immediately, the hodl effect is dying and there's need to take steps and measures in ensuring that tokens value are kept at an acceptable level while the process of development are carried out by the team

Restricting purchasable amount to $2500 per person is somehow not good enough. As much as it's good to prevent whales from excessive control, don't you think it's going to prolong token sale in a way even if their soft and hard cap is small because a large number of people will have to buy before they can raise something significant? I think $2500 is quite small and should be stepped up for interested investors since the gaming industry is attracting much attention currently.

Ultra has a vast community and most of them are seriously corperating with the team of the project, to move it forward. The telegram group is very lively and people are presently eager and ready for the IEO to come up, which will be followed its listing. Aside that, ultra Ha's working products.

It’s an amazing idea and with the right team, I think ultra would be a big name in gaming industry globally. I think blockchain is getting much interest from the US government with Libra leading the headlines.

Having a working product is one of the things I look out for in a project before considering investing. Glad to hear ULTRA already has one.

The amount of tokens burnt or locked up is a fraction of the total tokens sold on the IEO on tokeniex in different scenarios.

I'm not sure the Libra project will still be a success because governments and financial institutions are scared of what the presence of such project will do to the global financial institution, such indicates that the globe is yet to come to terms with the acceptance of cryptocurrency as a financial entity and also indicates that we still have a long way to go

I believe what he meant by blockchain language is the programming language used for developing blockchain platform such as solidity but I don't think they are going to build games with language like solidly I believe they will only use such language to create smart contract

Yea. Just like one other game blockchain platform I followed up sometime last year, they had their own programming language for creating dapps on their blockchain platform. I believe this will be of similar idea.

Agree, Based on my understanding on what I read on my research IEO event will really going to give a chance to the participants of the exchange to list it but it will still going to depend on them if they really wanted to list the project token.

There are opposite thing happened within last one month, FB announced Libra and then Trump came up with Tweet. One took the market up and second wiped out 26% within a week.

I have seen a project who developed language using which game development became easier. They also launched some template for developers. I thought this is similar project.

I have not heard about the project until now so I don't know if its existing on Pure FOMO or not. But I think its coming out due to recent upsurge of Blockchain games, I am seeing 2-3 concept of this springing up weekly.

Your opinion is quite logical, but looking at the teams decision from the onset, you'll find out that the team is committed to creating some extent of scarcity for the tokens. The project was able to raise over 6 million dollars in the seed and presale and during this sales which was spread into two rounds only less than 10% of the total supply was sold. In my opinion, I believe that the team is more interested in ensuring that the tokens are in the right hands than raising funds speedily.

building games on the platform is definitely a major feature of the platform, i would like to know how game items can be purchased on the platform is it going to be defined by the developer or the ultra team

Lol it's not been on a smooth path as expected so much that predictors are somewhat silent now cos market defiled every bit of it. Although the initial rise was advantageous for some projects I doubt if it will in any way affect the Ultra project since they are more interested in controlling the liquidity than raising much from token sales

Yeah. Valid. I have not come across those details yet. But i will like to think that the developers will define how the games are purchased.

In my opinion, the developers should be entitled to the decision of revenue generation from the application or giving it out for free. Its just like the ethereum platform where several projects are being launched and tokens are sold or given out as airdrops, that decision is made by the project team.

Cane accross it on cryptodiffer review group. They have a good team as well as strong use cases. I tried to buy from the Tokinex IEO platform but could not get in because it sold out in 33 seconds. All round, I think Ultra will do well

If by "game item" you mean characters in the game developed on the platform, I think developers should be given the laberty to get characters and icons from anywhere they seem cool with or from their library of already existing character.

I agree with you, the developer makes payment using the Ultra tokens to build applications on the platform and the applications built belongs to the builder who is the developer. Its the owner of the application that demands the purchase price of the application as well as the amount to be paid for using the application.

This project is in a very raw stage. I wouldn't invest into it now. I bet for you come back to this project in year later, you will see not much progress in the development as in the marketing. There are a lot of huge competitors in the market with reasonable prices for the games. No chance of very low chances for success.

The IEO is not to be conducted in Bitforex, rather it's in tokinex, where the team intents to raise 5 million dollars after raising over 6 million dollars on the seed and presale.

One crucial bottleneck face is the fact that they deal with a lot of uncertainty. very little faith for success if given to them which is also a very crucial need for growth of any company. I guess the team are reading the comments in here and making sure the right things are done.

One interesting fact that comes to my mind is that every project in the cryptocurrency industry is faced uncertainty. There's no perfect indicator that shows a project would be successful, even the best of projects that seems glorious could become moribund. We are all entitled to our opinion about the good and bad projects but that doesn't determine anything.

Most of these projects in Crypto world are start-up companies and that's why those tokens available at low price. I don't know what you mean by Raw stage, but project is in development stage.

I too think this is good project. If you can highlight good or bad points of this project and then it will give some idea about the project for new people.

You're right and if every individual is thinking about the risk of an initial project before investing, then no one will invest in any project, everything in life is all about risk, so is investing, if one can't afford the loss that comes with it, its best they think of something else than investing, its either you win or you loss, that's all what the game is all about

Gaming platforms are becoming popular now and are being used many their lovers. Ultra is one of such unique platform, which has attracted a lot of gamers even before its lunch. Most of the times, it is always better for a project to have a working product before the fundraising, because it will be a motivating factor for investors.

Now a days project team starting developing platform parallel to tokens sale.  Not waiting for tokens sale completion and then going for development. Which is very good thing and ultra team doing the same thing

Yeah. That's how it should be normal, rather than waiting to see how the token sale went and then having nothing to deliver once the investors stsrt asking for something.

I will love to know some of the achievements that they have made since inception, possibly a place i can read through properly about them aside their whitepaper, just recently following the project but yet to take my time and source for legitimate updates by the team and just like you stated stated, its good nowadays to create something tangible before sourcing for funds

I couldn't agree more. Projects with a working product at least needs to be the benchmark for project eligibility. This will surely bring crypto space back to it's glory days.

In fact all the companies launching shares in market /IPO are having some running business so it make sense to invest in such companies. But with cryoto world many asked/launched ICO against idea/concept only. But time is changing faster and now startup coming with proper business

I don't see any ICO or IEO coming with just white paper. Now a days people not even investing single penny in such projects. Now it's time to launch tokens sale only after testnet is available.

I think that model is already in play. The IEO that is happening is an example of that model and we shall see a more stable version being used in the future.

Which is a good thing, investors are getting wiser and anyone trying to invest must be sure of what they are up against, gone are the days when we get to see ghost projects everywhere with nothing to substantiate their existence and honestly, that's what this industry needs to redeem itself from the plague of scammers and set a standard that everyone will embrace

Lot of things happened in last few days.  Market was suddenly dropped (BTC was down to 90xx from 13k) So now they might want to check the situation before coming up with IEO?

I don't think there is need of panic here. market will get stable within few days.  No need to push token sale for later dates.

Not sure about that. Maybe they have not gotten an exchange to host it on or they are still preparing for the IEO, so everything goes on smoothly.

It will be unwise to wait for the market to recover before doing anything, i remember some good projects made some really massive development when the market was at its critical bear period, they kept pushing and today their story is different, so the team should pushing and do what they know how to do best and never let down the community down because of the market

Right. No need to push the dates,  if project is good then in any conditions token sale expected to do well. Just focus on path and stick to roadmap

It can be interesting only for people that are involved in gaming and gambling. Besides, Ultra will be not loved by many crypto investors and not supported. The reason for it is that the main idea of the platform is to destroy the monopoly of other large platforms like Steam.

However, if you are a real game (and gambling) fan, it can be a very good choice for you. However, the project is young, and we do not know if it works well in the future.
