Title: Altcoins prices are bleeding heavily
Post by: Kang TB on September 24, 2019, 10:34:14 PM
Altcoins prices are bleeding heavily, with some of the top-20 coins showing losses of more than 34% on the day.
The most popular altcoin Ether (ETH) has dropped over $50 in the last 24 hours to a price point of $156 per coin, recording a heavy loss of 24% on the day.

do you think this down market will continues and welcome back to the bears in crypto market again ?
or this is only the preparations if the market will growing really hard and the bulls will show up in the near time ?

I was astonished to see the massive dip because there wasn't really a strong FUD to initiate it. It took most of us unawares. The best strategy to apply now is holding the coins on your portfolio and accumulating more at intervals as they dip further. It won't take long before the market will experience an uptrend in my opinion. I am presently holding BTC, ETH, XLM, BCH, BNB which dipped with great margin but this doesn't call for panic selling. The more people panic sell, the more the dip continues.

This isn't so bad, I think it's just a dip that gives us an opportunity to buy.
One big dump for a day can really cause panic to people who are weak, but if they are here when BTC struggles at $3k, they would not easily get affected with this dump. ETH has recently recovered a bit pumping to $200 but this dump cause it to dump back again, but let's just observed, it's just one day, let's not make a conclusion yet.

Remember we have great news this month particularly the Bakkt launch and this would give a chance to increase the future adoption, so even if the market will dump, expect it will recover again.

Don't forget that bitcoin also dropped that much however it has recovered few hundreds right now. I think they are now connected again, as bitcoin falls, alts fall and now I think when bitcoin goes up alts will do the same.

do you think this down market will continues and welcome back to the bears in crypto market again ?
Possible but not everything that goes down will continue to plunge, it has to rise afterwards.

or this is only the preparations if the market will growing really hard and the bulls will show up in the near time ?
Likely what's on my mind.

Sounds not good to heard, I think altcoins price bleeding is effect of bitcoin price drops in the market cap, hoping is only an minimal correction before the price goes uprise again, and also I expect before end of the year bitcoin and altcoins become stable coins. Do not panic be calm.

Ethereum is the biggest losser this week from 220$ down to 169$.  I thought the sudden spike of ethereum price last week is the start of ethereum bull run but its all a fake pump.

We know they are weak hands if they are bothered by this situation.
How many times we have had this up and down movement?
And if bitcoin is decreasing, normally, the price of alts follows.
So this kind of scenario is actually not new at all. We have been there countless times already.
So for other crypto users, this is a good opportunity to diversify and take advantage of the situation.

As far as altcoin goes, it has been in a long bearish trend so nothing is new. We have to look at how Bitcoin does in the next couple of days because if it continue to go on a downward spiral, the whole altcoins will be impacted negatively. So let's see, we can't really see what the future holds, you just have to remain calm and adjust on every market situations.

Now we cannot trust any coin because today Bitcoin has a huge decline in just a few hours. I am very surprised at the value of this coin today but I can only wait because all the coins are now very cheap and completely within the price to invest. This market offers opportunities for everyone but can also take away all the money you have earned so be careful.

Compared to bitcoin with 10% Fall isn’t that I still more than those 35% of altcoins?imagine how huge the price of bitcoin with $8-10k price when altcoins only hundred bucks below/under ?

So it’s not just the alts are bleeding but the whole market instead mate

The down of the market depends on the bitcoin because of this time the bearish trend caused by bitcoin. I will not blame altcoin because bitcoin BAKKT is the main reason why we are facing another huge downtrend again.
Until bitcoin will be recovering again and we will never see any recovery for altcoin again. But some altcoins will remain in the same position even bitcoin gets bleeding.
This time the credibility of altcoin is revealed. Ony a good project will against the bitcoin bear trend.

Damn, the price of bitcoin hits $8500 which is the only reason for the every altcoin bleeding in the last 24 hours.I never thought that we will reach this much down again but its happening.Maybe a bear trap so don't sell too early and wait for the price movement in the next 24 hours to decide you stats.

This shows of how important is the performance of Bitcoin market is as it always creating domino effect to the Altcoins because last week i thought that Altcoins are now independent with Bitcoin as i see them slowly dominating over Bitcoin but now it is clearly that it was just temporary and it was also clear that bearish market is still in effect.

if you look at the condition of altcoin prices which are currently bleeding really this can be a very good moment to buy altcoin as much as you can because altcoin prices are currently falling and becoming very cheap, take advantage of many panic traders, smart traders will definitely buy when prices fall and will sell at high prices.

Bitcoin still dominates the market, and no matter how good the altcoin moves, when the king moves, the altcoin will always obey and follow the king steps. We see the bear market once again and with the down of the bitcoin price, it seems we need to wait longer than we can expect. But we don't have to lose hope of bitcoin and altcoin because I am sure that this is only temporary and the market will turn to the higher price again.

We could hope that this is only happening for this week, so in the next week, the market will start to rise again, and that will trigger bitcoin or altcoin to increase higher. If the situations are supported, then I think that could happen in the next week which we will see a new month in the next week. We could wait for a while and still buying the potential altcoin if we want.

I was online for the crash. Very late my time and I should have been asleep but watching football kept me up on my phone. That was a steep, steep drop but it was 100% caused by Bitcoin, nothing else.

So this is sort of bad news for anyone who still thinks alts have broken away from dependence on Bitcoin. We are still a long way away from that!

I think this altcoin movement follow what bitcoin did. Usually people get panic and sell their assets too. But this is only my personal opinion. Because if i have assets that i can sell, maybe i will sell my alts into bitcoin, and then bitcoin into fiat. And then hold my fiat until get good price to buy. Maybe if a lot of people did this, that can cause price dumped very hard.

are? the correct tense is "have been" because this is an ongoing thing that started 2 years ago and has not stopped yet. basically every couple of weeks we see at least a 10% drop in most of the biggest altcoins such as ETH, XRP,... that either slowly go down or have a dump and drop that much. and that is only on normal weeks. on weeks like this that bitcoin is either moving up or down they go wilder and have bigger drops.

Not just the alt-coinbut the crypto market is bleeding we have experiencing a red market once again,
Who knows maybe it would bounce hard after this drop (Just wishful thinking).
But I think if this would bounce back then it is better to grab some now before it is too late.

not in the last year buddy. everyone of course hopes the market will show a good trend this year, but you can see for yourself how the market now is not in a good condition.
just pray some people come with big money and see cheap crypto prices and then invest in large amounts. if such a mass adoption takes place on the market, I'm sure altcoin could rise this year.

The price decline so fast as I check the market today. Many reason’s why the sudden change of price but actually this is also our opportunity to accumulate coins in our portfolio. It is bleeding heavily but I am also hopeful to see the market to rise this year.

as many others have said, if in a market condition that continues to fall as it is now and even the decline is happening quickly then there will be suggestions to take advantage of the situation of buying more. but unlike that, those who receive an asset decline will also panic and be nervous seeing their assets lose the best prices. whereas to buy more of course requires even more money.

It seems to me that crypto market is full of manipulations. Whales just decide and control the market movement because there is a lack of any fundamental to warrant this sudden deep in ETH price.

I think the current market performance was manipulated by dumping Bitcoin and it create domino effect to the Altcoin holders by making them to panic selling too. If we will see again a Bitcoin dominance in the coming days then for sure the Big Whales are behind this to make it bullish once again and all we ask is how we can able to ride with them with a perfect timing.

The altcoins still bleeding, but some of the altcoins trying to survive and raise the price for a little. I guess we need to be patient and wait for a while because I think the price could get down for more. If you want to buy any altcoin, make sure you can pick the right coin by doing analyze and don't pick the low volume coin because that will be difficult to increase. If you can choose the big volume coin, I think that will have a chance to see the price will move at many prices in a day so you can back to make a profit again. But still, you need to think that it is better to stay calm for a while and don't trade if you cannot see the chance to get the low price.

I would say give it time, and alts will rise again. This seems like a sudden market reaction of the sort that can quickly reverse. Being optimistic, there is a chance that alts recover quickly from this and that upwards momentum carries us forward into a real alt bull run. I don't think thee's much to be worried about at the moment.

I really don't think that we are in heavily bleeding. It sometimes we took some consideration that the market will turn like this (bearish) and like that( bullish). If we are worried about the two, we are not supposed to be in crypto cause it only gives you a headache.

The market will remain unpredictable, that is the most crypto feature that we can't change.
It is not all our wishes and want's will be granted nor to have our favor but yet a thing that we could just put some hopes. As we face another market dumps again, it is our part to decide what could be the best in our side either we sell our coins or keep in holding.

Perhaps your glimmer of hope is lit once the value of altcoin today has stopped bleeding, very few altcoins continue to bleed, almost all are having a relatively good comeback, the situation in recent days is probably just a small adjustment of bitcoin to start a revolution in the end of the year. Altcoin will not and should not continue to go down because the price is too low, investors need a long-term recovery status, otherwise, I do not think investors will continue the game, the manipulators probably understand this problem

I think that is the end of the bear market in CMC, the market has drawn too much of our blood recently. now is the time for sharks to pump the market, because the Crypto cycle is like that, dump will have pump, we will see a disciplined pump this October, believe me. .

About altcoin actually i am agree, because condition for now not really good and not like in past. Maybe in past, there are a lot investor who still have money, but for now their money already drained with condition of bitcoin itself and lose in some ICOs. I know money from  investor must be limited. And after lose, there are people who still continue or maybe already tired with crypto.

This situation cannot last for a long time, and now,  the crypto winter might not come as it happened in 2018 (it is not yet time for it). It is sad to see that Ethereum we believe in is following Bitcoin now going down, but the patience will help here only. Probably, it is better now to take a break to understand the situation better.

This isn't new to us, why should it shock everyone, believe me, this market will bounce back pretty hard and I think by buying now, this could give some advantage to us. It maybe bleeding for the past few days but I don't think there's enough reason for the market to bleed this long, I know one day it will also shock us, but the other way around because bitcoin together with the altcoins market will rise up strong.

We are looking for a great 4th quarter of the year, maybe this is a great preparation for us, a little down trend, then a massive uptrend in the full last quarter, what do think? I believe its possible.

Altcoins prices are bleeding heavily, with some of the top-20 coins showing losses of more than 34% on the day.

maybe there will be another decline soon. looking at the current situation, it is likely that altcoin will experience a bear market. so prepare yourself, maybe this lasts longer.

but that's the only thing I believe in, even though there will be a fall. but next year everything will definitely recover. You know halving bitcoin can affect the market and have a big impact later.

Altcoins are following bitcoin, that's why they are bleeding. If bitcoin continue to fall, altcoins are going to follow it as people and bots are trading them like bitcoin.
If bitcoin price is stable, altcoins have a chance to recover.

Bitcoin investment needs a great deal of patience as the bear market is still happening and we can do nothing but wait. This market has been rising very high in the past few months but now everything is different and BTC has been continuously in huge declines. At the moment investors are really worried and if BTC cannot increase in the near future then everyone will trend to sell more and that's not good for crypto.

I don't think the market will be bullish hard in the near future...  This red market I think is a natural thing, why do I say reasonable??  because it has happened several times since last year..  in the near future we will definitely see the green market again but not the bull market, the green market that will occur is a reply for the red market that is happening right now.

The price hasn't grown big, but there is continued fluctuation above the range of $10000. Next thing the price of bitcoin fell low from the value close to $14000 reaching $10000. This wasn't much into discussion as the market didn't fell low to the $10000 barrier. This time falling low to $10000 is the major reason for such a big discussion.

This market will continue to dump because too many mining companies abandon bitcoin and cause its hashrate to drop dramatically by 40%.
This is considered to be the worst news ever and that has hit the whales, causing them to sell off bitcoin recently. If the hashrate does not recover, it will continue to fall and the altcoins will fall similarly :'(

Where did you see that information about miners abandoning bitcoin mining? And if they are really doing that, what will they mine next? Do you think they will throw away their mining equipment just like that? We had similar situations in the past, but after a while things go back where they were.
And it`s not that all alts are bleeding heavily, some are holding pretty good if you check cmc you will see that.

That would be a strategical way, they are smarter than of casual traders but doesn't mean that they know everything about the market. Its something they know a lot and they take action with some basis unlike to those casual traders as they make decisions base of what they think is good.

Altcoins drop-offs not always have a negative result besides,  many will take the opportunity with this. The opportunity for us to buy more potential altcoins at cheap price. Will it someone in selling while someone is also buying. That is really the life of crypto.

You are right, since the value of Bitcoin falls so hard it's bring the depression inside the Alts community, making the value of most of the Alts to bleed and stay down for quite some time. There's a lots of people who are still positive and aiming to get something out from this down sways hoping to place an entry in the right timing. If you are optimistic and you have the guts to keep holding there's momentum changers that will happen anytime, best to keep yourself calm.

https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-hashrate.html#3m

It was just a temp drop in Bitcoin mining hashrate, it has fully recovered by now.

Also i dont think this drop in mining hashrate affected the Bitcoin price all that much, people were just disappointed about Bakkt volume, VanEck ETF proposal getting withdrawn and i also dont rule out some price manipulation going on from those trading in Bitcoin Futures
(50% of Bitcoin futures contracts expire this friday / today).

Link : https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-manipulated-before-futures-settlement-dates-research

Quote
Arcane published the numbers just hours before Bitcoin nosedived 15%, bottoming out at $8,000. That event happened to
occur days before a major settlement date: on Friday, 50% of open interest in Bitcoin options is set to expire.

Looks like the other 50% of Bitcoin futures contracts expire 1st of october 2019.

Link : https://www.barchart.com/futures/futures-expirations/currencies

I would not be surprised if Bitcoin dropped to $7,500 between now and 1st of october, and then rise again (pulling the altcoins with it).

Flipped from your says above that the worst situations for altcoins sometimes when bitcoin price can be bounce back but some of altcoins never can do that and gradually dropped to the deep so it's difficult to the traders to get decent profit from altcoin

It makes sense to invest in the low prices if the market is in the bearish climate. Current prices are garbage if we compare with the prices of the 2 months back and the support levels have to reject any bear attempt which aims to cross the $100 per ETH. I hope you already placed your stop loss and take profit orders accordingly to the fundamnetal-technical analyze.

Drastically increase of the Bitcoin is now followed by the big red candles on the charts, the more price squeeze continues the fewer crypto investors will wait patiently for the next leg of the uptrend from my understanding.  Sell compulsion is not good at these price levels, BTC can test the lower price points below the $7000 if the market can't hold itself from the before mentioned group of traders.

Not only altcoins, Bitcoin and the whole crypto market has fallen down heavily. Volatility at its best! But I am sure altcoins will be rolled back again as before! We all know crypto market's condition wont to be stay at one position, so, a good time will be back. But my fear is also the same as you, is it a signal for the upcoming bear market! Last year, In September, there was a massive dump in the crypto market, this year almost the same dump just happened to ETH/Altcoins!

Altcoins value are not stable at this moment , because of the bitcoins value downfall in early this year and last year , most of the altcoins that are in top in coinmarketcap are also goes down that until now they cannot bounce back. But i still believe that this year altcoins will regain and gonna make more profits just like before.

The market is very dynamic what you post today may not reflect what's the market data is saying tomorrow, when analyzing the price it's best to compile the list for the whole week so we can figure out the percentage on the drop.
We cannot draw a complete picture of the situation if we rely on one situation alone, your is analysis is only on one day since you posted it yesterday it's different today than what we had yesterday.

Yes, I think this is just the adjustment of the whales and depressing the psychology of the crowd, after which they will pump coins. This makes perfect sense when we look back at the beginning of 2019, the whales deliberately forced the price of Bitcoin and alts to plummet.
At that time, ETH was only $ 77 and Bitcoin was $ 3k2.
When the market seemed passive, trading volume was less than $ 5 billion and constantly complained of speculators on the forum, then, the whales began to pump coins.
As a result, ETH increased to $ 325 and bitcoin increased to $ 13k3. I believe this bull run scenario will be back and we need to be more patient to see it.

Not all the altcoins. We have few coins which values have not gone down as like other coins. Namely, ERD, COS, Matic and Harmony. Mainly the coins launched on Binance launchpad, sustained their values. This would probably their product and services being behind.
Exactly. Even Ethereum, EOS went more down than Harmony, Matic! But these few coins can not be an example when 90% of altcoins bleeding heavily. Before this sudden dump, people were talking about only altcoins dump, but right now Bitcoin price is dumped too. It seems there can be another bear run! What do you think?

There was no direction for the market for sometime and with the introduction of Bakkt future trading and with the expectations died down we are seeing a correction. The alt coin market will bleed when ever the price of BTCitcoin goes down, you wont be seeing a big bear market but we will see corrections like this till the halving and if anyone is planning to invest, this is the best time for that and only invest with long term plans if you are looking for profits.

I think this is what drives bull run in November.  History is completely repeatable, I believe there will be a big pump in the crypto market because the Halving event of Bitcoin is about to take place.  it's just over 200 days away from the Halving event and I believe this discount is in the whale's plan.  They deliberately pushed the price of bitcoin down so they could buy more.  This is a common strategy in manipulated organizations and our job is to be patient at the moment.  Do not panic.

ETH had made good progress before it had dropped, and could have continued. Unfortunately BTC's price has fallen, therefore the price of ETH is around $160. The increase in BTC's price, which is important, allows the altcoins to recover.

Certainly this will not continue. Volatility in the market was always and always will be. Lets wait until the end of the year.

Again market will start pump so slowly Bitcoin and Ethereum will going forward and other altcoins also follow the same way. Normally we don't predict the quick hype and drop on ETH, But market situation is day by day moving forward so end of the year we will see good pump on crypto. At the same time some fluctuation will occur at each months so we must manage the fluctuation.

I hope not, but all signs of a bearish trend are here. Bakkt exchange launch failed completely and this made people to panic and to sell their crypto. 20 percent is a very serious sign and I hope that crypto would recover, but as we all know, nothing is predictable here.

Some experts said that a drop in the price of Bitcoin by 20% cost large players only 300-500 million dollars. This shows us how small the cryptocurrency market is. This market can be heavily manipulated.

One way or another, the entire cryptocurrency market is falling due to the fact that the price of Bitcoin is falling.  But the price of Bitcoin is falling due to the fact that it is still losing its popularity, because it is becoming only a means of calculation, and not accumulation.  One way or another, the number of cryptocurrency users who are confident in the prospects of Bitcoin is declining, because today there are quite a lot of coins, including ethereum, which in many respects exceeds Bitcoin's characteristics.  Based on this, the cryptocurrency market can go through another stage of decline, with huge correction, after which Bitcoin can only remain a valuable coin, as a pioneer of the cryptocurrency market.

Altcoins growth for now depends on the growth of bitcoin till further notice as most of the altcoin relies more on the increase of bitcoin for them to increase in price, I mean altcoins that are within the top 50 and we should know that the moment bitcoin recovers and start increasing, they tend to follow the same pattern of increase also which is why rather than panicking.

As ethereum is $160, this would have been the best time for investors to keep accumulating and the fact that it is even cheap to accumulate than bitcoin, although for some people who are very rich, this is also the best time for them to accumulate more of bitcoin also as bitcoin profit is quite far higher than that of any altcoin when they recover. As I got this opportunity now, rather than thinking of how altcoins are bleeding, I am investing deeply in them against recovery.

maybe hodl is the right options for now,
anyway its depends on what kind of altcoin in your bag my friend, wich mean if you hodl a good altcoin such as binance coin or ethereum your choice is right
but if you hodl the wrong alts, i think you must sell it as soon as possible

That is good for those who have day jobs and can support themselves even without touching their crypto portfolio.  I feel sorry to those who sold everything just to get into what they think is the train to richness but were burn because of the continuous bleeding of altcoins.  I myself  had been losing my portfolio value for almost a year now but tends to hodl.  It is an all or nothing for  me and many of my altcoins are now worthless but still not losing hope to those potential ones.  I wonder when can we see the day when the market become a green field.

If you do not want to loose the value of altcoin you own, please invest on the exchange and have some partial hodling in the USDT as well.

Apart from that continuous utilization of the coins into exchange that will make the funds in your wallet for more time.

When there is hype in bitcoin at the next time you can see the price bump more again.

It has been more than a month since the price of bitcoin has not experienced a very drastic increase.  And that greatly affects the price of altcoin. I prefer not to panic and sell my assets cheaply. I prefer to hold until everything gets better.

you already knew the risk, because you will lose your money soon or later
but, the fact is not all people can identify a shitcoins buddy

Bitcoin has a huge influence on this whole market and this is the main reason why I am always careful when investing because if the downtrend continues, any investment will make me lose money. I usually do not choose to trade during this time period because the risk is too great and it can completely make everyone feel depressed during the waiting period. Now I will look for new knowledge to prepare for the next phase of this market and Bitcoin will surely increase next year.

It was really an imminent correction, in my opinion. The entire market had rallied up to 14k in a very short amount of time, which is extremely unsustainable.

As I've said before, the only surprising part to this correction is that the bitcoin dominance index continues to stay sky high, as opposed to what I've expected which is to correct down to 50-60%.

It does seem like that alts will continue to bleed, regardless of which way the overall market is headed. Most likely, this is due to institutional investors whose portfolio mainly consists of BTC still due to its track record and the belief that it is less volatile and safer than alts.

I'm not sure but i think the crypto market can continue falling, anything can happen though, maybe $8k is the lowest gate for bitcoin to go down. The thing is, after the big crash, the price usually will go up again later. So prepare your money to buy crypto.

I think investing at this price is really good for the investment and you absolutely can make a high profit if the market starts to increase in the near future. During the past time, BTC has been continuously volatile and that made many investors have a lot of difficulties in trading so if we don't invest now, we will never be able buy cheap. Of course any investment will have its own risks but investing in Bitcoin will never disappoint.

Based on the news and the speculation that heard. Buying anything whether it is Bitcoin or altcoin right now, will lead us to another loss. There is no "we will never be able to buy cheap" because every level is cheap enough as long as it is below your target. On the other hand, buying everything whenever it gets dump is not a wise action.
we as a trader need to maintain our strategy, it is better to be late other than being a rush but to get burned.
it is never late to join the fun, as long as the market is stabilized and the direction is clear. That is the best time to join in, but not now. It is extremely risky

All the market except for stable coins was going down during that day, now I do not believe that you can take such a huge crash and somehow try to interpret this as a hint that somehow the bulls will come back, there has been a small correction since the price crashed but you should not expect anything else, the bull market of 2019 seems to be over and I hope you took advantage of it otherwise you will have to wait a long time in order to see the next one.

I don't want to raise my hopes too much about of the bull market to come back but we do still have 3 more months left. It's just that I'm still expecting a slight surge of price to at least break the $10k resistance yet the price now is sticking in $8k. It seems that $10k is too much now to ask. I'm currently waiting for what is the stable price of Bitcoin to see where it all going to stop.

yes, and maybe the right choice before a huge dump coming is by convert our cryptocurrency to a stable coin is the best idea my friend
and we can get a good return, because our digital assets in bitcoin or altcoin terms will increase
but the fact, no body know, when the huge dump will coming mate ?

That is a question for which I will love to have the answer but I do not, I can only try to tell what is the direction the market seems more likely to take during the next months and to me that is down, I know this can be discouraging after we waited so much time for the recovery of this market and it can be even more discouraging for those holding altcoins since their fiat value went up but their value in bitcoin has been crashing for a long time.

if it had touched so deep I don't think it would end, maybe it was the most severe price reduction this month by more than 20% a day it was terrible.
and what we know after that the price slowly rises, again shows a pretty good demand.
now the price of BTC is stuck at 8000-8200 I hope it will get better at the end of this month, because someone predicts that BTC will touch 16k $ in this October.

if there is such a large growth there will be a very large adoption of bitcoin. I guess it will be difficult this month.
although the decline is happening now like being trapped and not moving much. altcoin may be able to move on updates made by themselves with the support of their communities that can make requests increase. but to create increased demand on the altcoin market as a whole I think we need a longer time than October.

I think this is the influence of traders who have begun to understand what coins have the potential to rise and what coins have no potential, many new coins that do not have a good development that make the price not too good even a very low trading volume indicates that the coin project failed.

I agree if this happens to shit coins, which only make shrubs on the Exchange. In the end the price of the shit coin will disappear and die on the Exchange. Therefore choose the Altcoin Potential that has a lot of volume and users. Don't choose shit coins / tokens which the price is always destroyed in the market.

coins like that will eventually die slowly. traders have begun to turn to crypto, which has real use rather than a coin that relies on speculation.

recently I saw a lot of exchanges that began delisting of coins that did not have volume and the project was not very developed. so I think when the market recovers we will only see good altcoins in the market. altcoin shit will slowly disappear, because of this.

Market become selective when crypto entered bear market at end of first quarter 2018. Many people started lose their money and become more selective before investment. Also scam projects damaged people so much. As a result of these and more effects market condition changed so much from 2019 to 2019. Nowadays alt coins bleeding mostly everyday. BTC not give them permission to grow. Just strong projects like ETH and BNB try to hold their positions.
If market go green again and start a mini bull, these strong projects will lead.

You guys must realize the fact even not all of the major altcoins will always bring us to the profit. Look at some coins like zilliqa and it's brought the late investor to the bottom price and lose a lot of money easily.
It's a good idea to choose a good altcoin with huge volumes and popularity but some times it's not always useful at all consider the price will be determined from what's the usefulness of the product and does it really useful for us?

Very critical percentage of bitcoin dominance now.   ::) ::) ::)

More bad things are coming? hopefully it will not happen, though it looks so evil but that percentage is a drop from 70% dominance in the last weeks.

This market requires great patience because not every coin can make you good profits during this time. In fact, altcoins tend to drop more and if you are not careful in trading, you will suffer huge losses from this market. You have many different investment opportunities but if you don't have good knowledge then you're just an investor manipulated by whales.

I often analyze the psychology of investors in the downtrend because if they are scared, it will certainly be a good time to buy cheap coins and wait for the market to return to the green.

Many altcoins could be potential to increase, so you don't have to invest in the unknown project which doesn't have any potential in the future. If he can choose one or two altcoins at the market, he can expect to make a profit when the price increases. He can choose from the top 10 coin list, or he can buy bitcoin only if he is too scared to see the altcoin will bleeding again. The altcoin will have potential than the token because the altcoin already has a history from a long time ago.

The good thing when you are investing inside this market you have lots of time study before bringing your money inside. Alts that have solid finished product have a lots of potential to grow and to bounced back once the market regain and start to pumped again

I agree that solid project who already exist and place inside the top 10 or 20 from the CMC have a higher chance to bring good profits.

Good investment is needed for investment. The price of a coin swollen too much can go back to where it started after a while. Just because it's popular doesn't make sense to invest in a coine.

I don't see any altcoins who are good right now especially with those new ICO coins since mostly all of them are fucking scamsc and those alts are on top of the list and would love to go at top 10 to 20 really since they have the most potential to grow and recover when market became more stable but I won't put my 100% trust since whenever I got a good exit price I grab it so that I will not get trapped when market goes red again.

There is nothing new here. Altcoins are bleeding until now but it started since 2017 already during the eventful bitcoin pump. I lost big amount of money too because I am one of those individual that owns many altcoins. Who would not hodl altcoins when you tasted that early 2017 huge upward movements? I already moved on though from that hundred thousands of dollars lost. And I learned something from it. Regularly check our investments from time to time and take actions to protect our hard earned money. Many hyped and vaporware projects are already dead. I hope only a few hundred will remain.

There is no alternative at the moment, because all expected news have failed to achieve hype. We need something really strong like several SEC approvement to push the market from the dead point and I hope it would happen before the end of 2019.

The major altcoins like ETH,Litecoin and many others are witnessing price dips from a long term without any price boost. And we have entered the last quarter of 2019 and still there is no progress in prices and graphs still show red lines moving downwards. We need huge investments in the market for price hype until the end of this year which might be possible so hope for the best.

After experiencing price increases in 2017, the price of ALTCOIN is slowly going down to the lowest level. Until now the price of altcon is still no sign of an increase, it seems like in recent years the market conditions have started to change, when the prices of BITCOIN started to rise, ALTCOIN prices do not go up, but when BTC prices decline, ALTCOIN prices also dropped.
Losing money is not one reason to stop investing, do a repurchase at some high-class altcoin, and start making your portfolio, so you can reduce the risk of loss in the future.

This market is in a very bad time so making a profit might face many difficulties in the near future. Currently, the bear market does not support altcoins and that makes our profits tend to decrease more. I think in 2020 the market will return to be like 2017 but to be able to do that, all the coins in this market must be stable in the next 3 months.

Of course this is very unlikely but I hope that altcoins can rise again because so many people want to become rich from the cyrpto market.

I think that the prices of many altcoin do not correspond to their real value.  For a long time, many cryptocurrency market analysts have said that more than 60% of altcoin do not have a final product and therefore are very risky for investors.  Their value is primarily supported by speculators on exchanges, but in general they may not have long-term prospects.  I think that in this regard, you need to make a very meticulous choice.

Altcoins prices are bleeding heavily, with some of the top-20 coins showing losses of more than 34% on the day.
The most popular altcoin Ether (ETH) has dropped over $50 in the last 24 hours to a price point of $156 per coin, recording a heavy loss of 24% on the day.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/tuesday-shows-bloodbath-for-altcoins-up-to-34-losses-on-top-20-coins

do you think this down market will continues and welcome back to the bears in crypto market again ?
or this is only the preparations if the market will growing really hard and the bulls will show up in the near time ?

So far your second question is what is happening right now, Eth price is growing again but it's having a hard time to cross the $200 the buy support is not yet strong to support it to cross the $200 mark and we are more than 2 months to go before the end of the year, we may have to contend on what Eth is going to give us, and just hope for a great year next year.

SEC is out of the equation for now, and I think that we should look at the bigger things that are ahead of us. There is something so spectacular about next year, you know Facebook will surely release their coin next year which will be one of the biggest factor that will attract lots of investors to the altcoin market, and next year is also the halving of bitcoin, you know this is no doubt one of the factors that usually call in very high price for bitcoin and some altcoins that do follow bitcoin to increase.

The best of this news is the Ethereum that will be releasing their version 2.0 that same 2020, these are going to be a very big blast for the altcoin market. Don’t you agree with me that the year ahead of us is one that has been destined to change our story? We should just use this year to prepare for it.

Over all current crypto market is on bear mode. Although bitcoin sometimes showing bull trend but all other coin just dipping hard. That's why I feel we are on bear at the moment. I am assuming that market isn't going to recover suddenly. Investors are moving to bitcoin from altcoin in my opinion and market won't recover till return of investors. For that, new investors should take entry on bitcoin so that bitcoin will more bull trend and altcoin would start recover.

This market is always full of surprises for all participants and we cannot predict what will happen next in the near future. In my opinion, the volatility of Bitcoin affects a lot of other altcoins and this happened continuously in the last 2 years and there is no sign of stopping. The bear market can be daunting for many but if you're a smart investor then you will choose this time to look for good projects.

I have been following the value of a lot of altcoins in the last few months and most of the value of altcoins only increase when Bitcoin tends to rise.

Most of their concepts are so good and the existing realization will not be appropriate. it's just that this is one of the big risks if we want to get cheap investment because the launch of the exchange product is still not available so it can be said that the price is usually cheaper to choose

I was astonished to see the massive dip because there wasn't really a strong FUD to initiate it. It took most of us unawares.
Yes, but I do believe that bitcoin itself was dropping when op wrote his post, so it kind of makes sense that altcoins would be getting hit at least as hard.

Worry not, fellow altcoin lovers (heh).  Bitcoin is going to recover...eventually, and when it does you'll start seeing altcoins follow suit.  In the meantime I would highly recommend viewing times like these as excellent times to buy alts you think have a future.  The market might be bearish but the worst time to buy in is when its a mob scene and prices are on fire.  That's the time to sell if you're a trader.

most of the value of altcoins only increase when Bitcoin tends to rise.
That's what I was getting at, and if I'm not mistaken its because altcoins are priced in terms of bitcoin.  The dollar value might be dropping, but any given altcoin's satoshi price is probably stable.  Know what I mean?

So it means that you are in profitable position everytime the market trend sets?lucky or skills? Can you share something that we can do as well so e won’t be trapped ?
There are few people that I know that having same like you though he was not consistent because at some points he was trapped also

But about the topic,it’s normal that altcoin bleeds because bitcoin also bleeding what can we expect from that.just keep holding unless you have keeping shitcoins that’s the problem

Sort of agree here. I mean, how can some tokens be worth ANYTHING at all when they have zero use, zero users and zero applications? To me, if we adjust the real value of the entire cryptocurrency market, we should only see maybe 50 tokens and coins max, the rest should all be zero or close to zero.

BSV BTG and Btc Diamond for example, what on earth do these coins have that anyone can imagine they have value?

If they had even formulated the coin with real mindset and they create a project that is active and can actually take the society by heart in future, we would at least even been patient with them for the bear market to be over, but the annoying thing to me is that they formulate the market without a real intention, and they end up using the coin to dupe the innocent investors who judges alone by white paper.

The second mistake is the one that I find with hunters because when these projects were still at zero level, no one really new them until they contacted the hunters to project their fake coin to the word and you know that we have some hunters that are very good with marketing and they know how to really dress the project very well and cover their wounds from being seeing by the public. So hunters need to also do the needful by ensuring the market free of all these dirty projects by not promoting them.

I completely agree with your opinion, but I want to draw attention to the fact that such mistakes by hunters were very obvious in 2016 and 2017, when there were a lot of fraudulent and very bad projects on the ico company market.  Recently, users have been very skeptical and suspicious of most new projects, because even hunters are deceived, because in any case they do not receive a reward for their work, if the project is at least bad.  Based on this, any beautiful words and big promises from the team do not yet guarantee the success of the project.

The altcoins market is bleeding heavily due to another market correction in the market. Maybe after some time a week or two the altcoins market will stabilize and we should wait for the altcoins season to come. Altcoins seasons normally follows after the bitcoin season.

Altcoins easily correct because bitcoin is not yet stable on its movement, during the pump which happens in just one day, we've seen how altcoins have already increase that day but now they are slowly dropping again as bitcoin just stable at $9K.

It has actually bleed heavily a year ago, not slowly theirs still some bleeding and we are not seeing some significant growth anymore.
This is the time where we need to stay patience and hold strong.

I think there will be a lot of big adjustments in the near future because the market has risen very high over the past week so if it is unable to keep that stability, this market will definitely decline. I have analyzed the volatility of altcoins over the past few months and most altcoins are highly dependent on Bitcoin value so if Bitcoin does not increase, don't expect too much of this market.

I clearly imagine the crypto market because we are all see huge dump on Bitcoin and normal dump on altcoins. But how we expect huge hype in altcoins. So Bitcoin growing faster other altcoins are follow slowly in crypto market. I hope further days market growing faster so altcoins also going to moon. Few bleeding altcoins always available in the market so successful altcoins only concentrate the investors.

Bitcoin has to pump more and if it could make a new ATH, I am sure that time, altcoins will start to rally again.

Actually at this price, a lot of people are still not fully confident to invest because there are still a lot of traders who got caught buying the peak during the last bull run, so if bitcoin will be able to surpass its ATH, we will all be profitable and price might be overvalued again.

The altcoins are really very disappointing in these 2 years and the prices are still going down & down. Also the top10 coins are showing very lower price and still not a sign of bullish trend. But, the Bitcoin is still remained first choice of the investors. One altcoin that is Bitcoin SV which is the only first runner among these altcoins and made the investors 1000th times of profitable.

Bitcoin, bitcoin and bitcoin. The answer is the only bitcoin that can bring at least more adoption to the altcoin. So many altcoins are securities and that means that will be so difficult to be adopted as a merchant payment system. Bitcoin is the only thing right now that can bring huge demand for altcoin.
BAKKT will give a huge impact to the bitcoin only and not for altcoin. I hope you know about that.

Definitely the value of altcoin will start to rise once bitcoin's will pump up more than the all time-high and they will surdly follow up. That's why it would be much better to only invest in bitcoin or 80% to bitcoin and the rest is for altcoins.

The only problem is when people sees a down trend or feel fomo then they will panic sell and that's the reason why it is going down and it can only save by support level.

I have problems imagining what it will take to revive the altcoin market, bitcoin keeps growing and altcoins just react in a mild way and keep going down when compared to bitcoin.

Anyone that decided to keep holding altcoins during the last year is probably regretting their decision because we cannot see the end of this, but I also think that this cannot last forever and at some point this has to change and when that happens we need to be ready since that is the moment to multiply our bitcoin.

Its funny how quick things can change, from "bleeding alts" to nice rises. Two months can make a big difference haha
I feel like the ecosystem has grown so much at this point, places like Cointelegraph can report anything day by day, and then the next day its flipped flopped
BTC should teach us something: go long on coins. dont worry about the day by day, pick some good coins and go long, staring at charts all day sux : /

The market is not ready to recover because the volatility of Bitcoin has affected many other coins and the increase of Bitcoin usually takes place in a very short time. I think you should sit still and be more patient during this time because this market depends so much on the value of BTC so every prediction is often incorrect. I personally hope the altcoin season may come soon but it may take us a few more years to wait.

Anyway in this market, you can choose long-term investment in some altcoins but need to analyze many times and make the best decision when investing because no one can be sure for you when trading

the reduction of all altcoins including bitcoin only determines the bottom. because as usual, after a large decrease, crypto eyes will show a sharp increase. and today it has been proven, that their decline is only to welcome a new higher price level. keep calm, all will change in time.

Altcoins prices are bleeding heavily but that is nothing new in the charts of the altcoins. They bleed in red sometimes and they also breathe in green sometimes. That is the life of altcoins. But it is what gives opportunity to traders and investors and even simple altcoin owners like us to make profit out of crypto. If the prices will not bleed heavily, we ordinary buyers of altcoins cannot afford to buy them very cheap. We can only be a witness without becoming a player.

The altcoins market is bleeding heavily due to another market correction in the market. Maybe after some time a week or two the altcoins market will stabilize and we should wait for the altcoins season to come. Altcoins seasons normally follows after the bitcoin season.

It is funny that you expect the market to stabilize in a week or two, when the ongoing correction phase started many months back. By the last week of June, Ethereum was trading at around $340 per coin. Currently it is trading at $187, which represents a 45% reduction in the exchange rate in a matter of just four months. After a brief phase of stabilization that occurred during the second half of September, the prices have once again started moving downward. And for Ethereum, a lot will depend on whether it can hold on to the 0.02 BTC support level or not.

Despite of the expectations of the majority that the market will soon recover, the situation still frustrates most of the investors right now and we just cannot blame them for doing so. We should encourage them to be somewhat positive still, and to be patient in order to avoid regrets once recovery occur. Just wait and avoid making risky decisions at this moment.

Yeah we have to encourage the market and not blaming the market and if you have experienced loss please don't spread the hate about cryptocurrency. Because people outside will see cryptocurrency is a bad investment and a bad currency because many people that experienced a loss or a scam always blaming cryptocurrency is a bad thing, this will cause many investors are afraid to invest on bitcoin even though cryptocurrency is really futuristic

in the crypto market it is not only experience but patience that is tested to succeed against the incoming waves.
If you believe that every bad thing that comes will surely come after the good things to replace the bad ones, rest assured the rainbow comes after the rain.
I no longer believe that Altcoins will fall further in price with respect to Bitcoin. It’s better now to start buying them and believe only in the best. Sooner or later, the cryptocurrency market will change the trend to a bullish one!
But make sure you buy right coins. Because not all altcoins will survived or maybe can follow bitcoin price when bull trend come. Patient is good, but prepare anything before do trading or make investment will be needed. Of course we wouldn't want to pick wrong coins and then lose when bull trend come.

What doesn't kill you, make you stronger! Same is Bitcoin, same is with all other alt-coins. Some of them are bleeding heavily, some of
them will die, but some of them will survive and become much stronger in the future.
My holdings worth much less then in 2017! I suffer from this drop like other holders, but I'm not thinking about dumping even now, what
more I'm buying when I can allow myself, almost every month I take some little part and I invest it in crypto-currencies.

You are definitely not alone to have that kind of experience, personally, I also suffer loses on my portfolio but I never thought of selling because I've been here before the last bull run and that was full of challenge that time. I was able to benefit on the last bull run as I was able to sell some of my assets but not actually a big portion as I remain optimistic that a new rise could happen again, maybe its just the way we think, we love to hold longer and want bigger return, so now we have to be patient and wait for that wonderful time to unload out assets again.

We need to be optimistic, even in hard times. That makes a difference between winners and quitters! A new rise will happen,
and we need to think like that, to believe in that, no matter what! I made my decision long time ago and I don`t plan to quit.
Patience is the key! Unlike others, I don't expect from crypto-market to rise next month or next year! I give this market much
more time, even there is a possibility to happen anytime in next 2-3 years.

You have a nice attitude but there are many investors with the same attitude that were unfortunate to select the wrong coins and no matter what they do they cannot change that fact and now they will never recover that money.

However if you selected the right coins then everything changes, your attitude is exactly what it is needed to survive the difficult months we have seen for altcoins and unfortunately many investors do not have it since they have always been interested only in the money and not in the market itself which is what separates the enthusiasts from those people.

Since altcoins keep bleeding so bad isn't this another opportunity to keep buying more altcoins instead of worrying about the price? the best time to buy altcoin is when huge bleeds takes over

Yeah for right now investing for a long run with altcoins is not recommended since BTC price itself is still struggling to stand still. But i think right now is the best time to day trading with alts since the price is already drops too much and i'm sure taking 2-3% profits won't hard while we invest on bitcoin because bitcoin's price will be pump next year because of halving

That may seem like it is a good strategy but altcoins are not bitcoin, if you buy altcoins now when their prices are not very high it may seem like you are doing a good business but if a new altcoin appears that is better than the coin you bought then there is a real chance the altcoin will never recover.

In that case you will waste your capital and even more importantly you will waste your time and the many other opportunities that you could have taken during that time.

Bear market has occurred and although the market is still bleeding but at least this time the market is able to create strong resistance, because at least the rise and fall of prices can occur quickly every day which shows the market will maintain its value so that there is no too deep decline, because after all it's time to recover even though recovery is slow.

In general, I don't see any recovery on altcoins yet, the only recovery I'm seeing this year is the recovery of bitcoin but most altcoins did not recover and some even get dump more. OP was right that its bleeding heavily, if you have invested in 2017, you will understand how people feel because when I am looking in my portfolio, things are very disappointing.

even though the market is still not in good condition, but when we think smart I think we can get profit from altcoin trading. domination still belongs to bitcoin and altcoin is still in the same situation for a very long time. many people say next year is the right time for a pump, we will see what will happen.

Honestly, it rose to begin with because of speculation on real-world adoption and use. It will only rise again with similar speculation. Right now, it looks like crypto needs to work hard and make real progress before there's anything to speculate on. however, I think we'll start to come good by the middle of the 2020. Trading and transaction volume is low at the moment, and the price seems to be range bound, which is probably a good sign because it shows the selling is pretty much exhausted.

Well, it all depends on Bitcoin too I guess. but from the volume that we can monitor shows, cryptocurrency is still strong. Bitcoin / crypto which is fluctuating is still normal for now.

You are right the market seems to be a bearish mode, which most of the traders are focusing on Bitcoin that's why the volume of Bitcoin is increasing. Seems altcoins would have huge potential once the price of Bitcoin stable, the dominance of Bitcoin is very high and this makes the prices of altcoins are fluctuating hugely.

Of course you will not sell your tokens since selling it is away accepting your lost. you are still hoping that one day the market will back to normal and get back what you lost from holding it. But there is also a problem if you continue holding it if that altcoin will going to die.

Some people accept loses and just sell to cut loses, but if you are still holding until this time, selling to cut loses is not anymore advisable as you are only getting around 10-20% of the original value of the tokens you will dump.

you are still hoping that one day the market will back to normal and get back what you lost from holding it. But there is also a problem if you continue holding it if that altcoin will going to die.

Its not going to die if the coin you are holding has the potential, if might struggle like any other but as long as the team are still working to develop the price, the right time will come that it will start to rise, and with the improvement of the market like the altcoin season, surely it will bring surprise.

If one is to keep thinking of some of these altcoins bleeding, one might has well be bleeding of bitterness and we may be tempted not to see the future that lies ahead some of these coins and will be filled with hatred which will stop us from making further investment in the right coins or selling some of the coins that we would have held for long time till the altcoin season starts again.

Each time that I want to get discouraged about altcoins, what I used in consoling myself is that this was what people passed through too with bitcoin when bitcoin was initially developed too, while some stayed with the coin, and also, the bear market is not in control of these projects and until the bear market is over before we can see their full potentials.

The price of bitcoin has been going down for some time but now things are getting interesting, if the price of bitcoin can remain close to the current levels then when we get the halving we could get a positive correction similar to what we saw during this year.

But if the price goes down then there is a real risk the price could keep going down until the end of the year in which case the halving may not bring the profits most of the members of the forum are expecting.

Exactly, but we never had a vision on what will happen in the future, we keep holding because we trust the project and its future potential.
However, with what is happening now, its really disappointing but selling might also result to big disappointment in the future once the market recovers.

We just have to stay optimistic as there's nothing we can do now.
if big projects struggle, how much more the low marketcap where its not listed in big exchanges.

A lot of people expect the price of Bitcoin to increase by the end of the year, but now the coin is going against everyone thinking. I think the current market is very volatile and makes investors more afraid so it is best to sit still and watch. Now there are not many good investment options and if buying altcoin at this time will certainly be risky and can not avoid losses when investing.

However, recently there is a lot of good news regarding this market and hopefully by 2020 all coins will improve because everyone is waiting for a new altcoin season to appear in the near future.

Still, altcoins prices are fluctuating heavily in the market due to huge fluctuation of Bitcoin price, when the price of Bitcoin is increasing/decreasing altcoins are fluctuating hugely and it is impossible for any trader to predict. Altcoins are dying slowly, because the BTC dominance is far to high to leave space for altcoins of any kind. They will continue to bleed, until the dominance drops to 50 percent at least, but if the dominance would continue to grow, alts will disappear.

Bitcoin is currently experiencing a significant decline in prices and touched prices below $8200, of course this is further extending the price decline below the average and even testing the support point of $8,000, if you look at the current BTC price movement chart, it can be predicted if the price of BTC will be stable at price range of $8,000- $8,100, moreover we can see the BTC movement chart lately has experienced a lot of crossing down trend lines so, it is very likely that prices will decline again.

Dont you remember that bitcoin already pumped more than 40% just in few days?
it means more bull control bitcoin in this time. so, i dont think it would continue dumped
in the halving, pump will happen in bitcoin.

rise. But right now bitcoin has suddenly dropped to $ 8,000, making altcoins collapse. Some investors have began to move
its capital to bitcoin and stable coins. This could be a bad sign for altcoins, we hope bitcoin doesn't decline in price anymore.
Because if bitcoin price drops below $ 8000 some altcoins can really become dust, and i'm afraid of altcoins which has a small
volume can really be deadcoins.

As I know, only the coins in the top 50 CMC can gain good prices because the market is not clear at this time so take time to think before making a decision. I think the market is very unpredictable now and any investment will be high risk, the best way is to wait and look for other opportunities next year. I personally am very worried about my long term investment but will continue to keep it instead of selling for the time being.

I think this month has been a tough month for altcoins, because when bitcoin was priced at $ 9,000 altcoins had started
rise. But right now bitcoin has suddenly dropped to $ 8,000, making altcoins collapse. Some investors have began to move
its capital to bitcoin and stable coins. This could be a bad sign for altcoins, we hope bitcoin doesn't decline in price anymore.

maybe it's the pope's game, remember next year 2020 is the year of Bitcoin, why? because bitcoin will experience halving,
we will see altseason at the end of this year maybe, or at the beginning of the year, if bitcoin is saturated we will see it

Altcoin season will definitely come back at the latest after Bitcoin halving. Maybe around August to October next year. Because by that time, the impact of reduced bitcoin creation will catch up with the slow demand for BTC. Remember  It takes $100,000 per block to secure the network on breakeven. Imagine halving the reward so that's 6.25 for $100,000 worth of mining.

This always happen when bitcoin price drop, and we still not have mass adoption to not have so huge volatility when a coin price drop, but maybe over 5 years we will have more people on crypto.
Before there was no mass adoption but altcoins are not pumping, I think that is the main reason, the main reason is the market struggle due to a long bear market and the only way to stop this bleeding is when BTC will start to pump again because as usual it will create some FOMO and when FOMO happens, you now what's next, right?

Altcoins have started pumping though, I've lost count of how many altcoins I've seen that have bottomed out and changed to up trend.

Can't expect short term up trends to last forever, there has to be a sell off at some point

if I think this is only a temporary decline, because I believe that next year the price of crypto will also increase again, seeing that its growth is now also starting to rise again.
So the next year if pumping happens, it would be temporary too? bcz the next time would be dump again lol
temporary means short time, if the next year isnt temporary.

It is not the right time for altcoins to pump thisbyear and it could happen by next year after the halving or year 2012 and it would take time for altcoins value to recover since more and more are popping up.

And best thing to do right now are to buy those altcoins that more potential and has purpose at all.

i think its a  altcoin doesnt move up in this time, it is stuck in the range price and cant be up
its cryptocap also cant do nothing, we need more time to get pump

https://www.tradingview.com/x/LLB4dBJg/
Bitcoin is currently experiencing a significant decline in prices and touched prices below $8200, of course this is further extending the price decline below the average and even testing the support point of $8,000, if you look at the current BTC price movement chart, it can be predicted if the price of BTC will be stable at price range of $8,000- $8,100, moreover we can see the BTC movement chart lately has experienced a lot of crossing down trend lines so, it is very likely that prices will decline again.

And today Bitcoin continues to drop to $7500 and this is something that people cannot predict. Currently, the value of this coin is very volatile and not suitable for investment during this period. I have also analyzed the chart today and it seems that the psychology of investors is starting to be more afraid so it will certainly be a bad time for this market.

I was very lucky to have sold Bitcoin at $10,000 a few weeks ago and am patiently waiting to buy Bitcoin for cheap price. Maybe Bitcoin will return to the $6000 price by the end of this year before another correction.

the fact is that today all altcoins, including BTC, have also declined, if there is such a site informing that an altcoin price is good, that is wrong. BTC and altcoin until this moment shows a decrease caused by many factors. You can see a news from here: https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-drops-below-73k-as-china-vows-to-dispose-of-exchanges. Maybe that is also one of the causes of the fate of BTC and crypto today. Regarding bitcoin halving and a series of events on altcoin / ETH, my advice is not to over-expect it because there is no guarantee when altcoin will return to the good stage again.

Everyone knows that this bleeding is only temporary because in recent times the value of altcoins has received a lot of positives, for now, it needs to go down to create an accumulation. and a new play for the market. But the problem that most people are worried about is probably the temporary here is not clear, we don't know if this temporary state will start and end in weeks or months or even years, and this is really a period of crisis and fatigue that we need to overcome after a fun time

That doesn't true, if everyone knows its just temporary, they would not dump their holdings and just wait until the market will rise and sell when they see some profit. What I am seeing is that there's a major dump happening and this is surely because of people who panic and when they panic and dump, that means they don't believe that the price will rise again because they are afraid to hold.

The emotional trading is the worst form of making trades and having decent research before investing is essential like in trading. Mastering yourself can save the trader from the bad risk management and panic will go away if he can handle the trading without external factors. The temporary feelings shouldn't dominate in trading and dump of altcoins increases the level of emotional trading, obviously.

2months after this post?now even bitcoin is bleeding as well valuing $8,500 this is another dumping situation that investors must take seriously.

as we are heading to last Month of 2019 its getting harder to predict the market lol.

so lets facet hat no selling must happen but buying instead.

The market has the tendency to do the opposite of what many people expect, I remember that at the beginning of this year there were very few speculating that the price will go up.

Everyone was expecting another negative year for bitcoin and the rest of cryptocurrencies and then out of nowhere the price began to grow to the point that we almost reached 14,000 dollars and now that everyone is expecting the price to go up at the end of the year the price is going down.

Of course, there is no "permanent dump" in the trading, the dead coins are delisted constantly from the distinguished exchanges. Dumping altcoins depends on the two market determinant: The price of altcoins is dumped due to the greedy investors and they accept the dump decision with the emotions. Logical investors sell on the high, they don't dump the dumped price for getting out of the trade.

Markets are extremely complex and at the same time extremely simple, the only thing that is needed for this market to recover is money and those that have the money to make that recovery a reality are only going to invest in this market once they are absolutely sure that they are going to get profits with that investment.

And there are only two options for that to happen, the first one is that the price crashes to levels similar to what we saw in 2018 and the second option is that we begin to see important developments in the most important coins in the market.

There was a time in which altcoins used to move in ways that were more independent from the movements of bitcoin, but as the market has been progressing instead of this independency to increase with the time what we are seeing is the opposite, and it is not really difficult to understand the causes.

Altcoins at some point were believed to be the future replacements of bitcoin but now we are realizing they will never accomplish that goal and bitcoin no matter what will always be the king of this market and altcoins are losing their independency because of this.

Yes, we are losing value because in most cases whales are pumping different coins which we are investing in the coin and suddenly the price of a coin will drop in the market. So it is always good to stay away from the trading when the coin is pumping.

lead you being trapped buying those assets. It's always better to buy good projects which still have potentials to move up even the market for the meantime is bleeding. collect those cheap coins and wait for the bounce up.

I suspect a lot of these altcoin speculators actually kind of know this already, but they simply refuse to accept that they will be the victims. It's like all those hyip sites you see again and again. People know they're scams, they know they get profit from the latecomers. But they always think they can make it early and they never think THEY are the latecomers. As long as there are people like this, altcoins will always thrive.

It is several times easier to manipulate coins with such low volume than it is to try to manipulate coins like bitcoin, my recommendation is to stay away from those coins, I know that it can be very tempting to try to make profits with those kind of coins when everything seems so easy, you only need to buy that coin and wait for the price to go up.

But things are never going to be that easy, most likely that coin is being manipulated and as soon as the person that is manipulating the market is satisfied with his profits he will sell and the coin will go down in value.

If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.
Most of them is a scam, I have no doubt. Crypto is still deregulated and easy to make one.
many people take this advantage for its own sake. that's why most of them just a shit

But, there are still good one to choose. so, there is an option. just take it as choice

I agree that there are a lot of clone coins who doing nothing and are made just to steal some % from bitcoin if possible, but hope soon this will change and somehow no one will buy this coins. Altcoins price indeed drop a lot from last bull run but maybe all this will change next year.

Trading/ investing coin and token is really different with HYIP. coin and token like a commodity which has 'value', But HYIPs have NOTHING
coin and token are moved by development of its project. HYIPs are move by pure of human greedy

HYIP are scams bad someday some of the investing are seeing bitcoin as HYIP because they are misinform or not just educated about crypto, they thought when they invest in crypto they will get quick return for their money and a huge return, hopefully that will change as they learn and figure out what investing in crypto really looks like so they will not be frustrated, instead they will just calm down because they understand the market.

I remember that years ago I saw all of those supposed investment opportunities and I immediately knew what they were even if at the time I did not really had a great education when it came to investments, I just used my common sense and yet many people do not seem to do that.

They believe that they can get great returns by investing in those kind of HYIP scams and it doesn't really make sense, anyone that could multiply their money that quickly doesn't really need the money of anyone else, he could ask for a loan to a bank and return the loan in a matter of days.

As long as we are doing a proper research and that's enough to keep the distance from the scam ico. Remember when there was a crap coin created by scammer that is also hyping through use fake accounts to spread it among crypto traders.
Now, people are very smart to choose which is a scam ico that must be throw to the trash can.

yes, the market is still bleeding especially the altcoins market.
There are only few coins that were profitable this year, majority failed and continue to struggle.

the coin you mentioned which is "NWC" it's quite a new coin as according to cmc, I can see it started trading last month only.

The large choices increase the probability of losing the competition by the teams, no doubt the race will clear the weak hands. Everyone can hire the blockchain developer and create a new project. After realizing the process, the problems start to bother the CEO, team, developers. The best move is to choose promising projects by analyzing the market for any investor.
even the ability to analyze what we already have also sometimes cannot bring profits for investment. those who have great developers also sometimes find it difficult to gain market interest in these conditions. altcoin will be difficult at this time, I only hope for bitcoin to market in the current situation.

Seeing altcoins not in good condition for a long period is discouraging for some investors who are holding it. I know someone that is tired of waiting and loss his patience so he sell his coins. Alts are still bleeding but I believe price recovery will happen next year lets just be bullish.

Belief probably will not create any light at this time, it can not help altcoin suddenly return, what people are in need is a reason, a very compelling reason for people to believe that altcoins will return soon but this particular reason has not yet appeared, altcoin is still bleeding every day, the price is unable to hold up, continuously losing support. Investing is such a bad experience, but we should not let the market's psychology influence the decision, the bloodshed always ends by the recovery.

I think it will continue to go down. Let's hope a good market in the next year.

Expect bump in this topic every couple weeks :D We are in a big crypto downtrend as for now and nothing on the horizon is going to change it. People calling for alt season here and there might not be enough to invoke it. Unless BTC starts another cycle there will be no alt season guys, only shorting opportunities.

Bitcoin is going down, tezos is going up. Its just one of the coins I follow and posses, but there are other good alts that are going up in this crypto bearish times. Its always like that, prices fluctuate and its hard to follow all of them, but that's why we need to be patient.
2019 was better then 2018, its logical to believe that next year will be better then this one. I believe in that, and where is faith there is hope. We have other good reasons for believing in that, halving, ethereum upgrade, and many other important events that waits us in the next year.

My guess is it will go as low as 6500 dollars and investors will really need to have lots of patience and good strategy on how will they react to this kind of market, they need to utilize their resources in order to get profits.
Same thoughts with you bro, crypto will experience a good price pumped next year because of the companies partnering with crypto and also because of the halving.

Buy more =] This isnt that big of a fluctuation when you look at the big picture of things.

Unfortunately not many pay any attention to this side of the picture. Altcoins are not bleeding rather they are calling very loud and clear to buy them and book your future profit. In the end, we blame whales and other tycoons for manipulating the market.

We are still in a bear market and expect that the market will only  recover maybe by a couple of weeks or before the end of this year and i think its not like the last year but we can still take advantage of the markrt and accumulate more.

The only problem is when a prediction will not happen right and the market will keep crashing so we can take only a small percentage and buy atleast 25 - 30% of our money to buy in market so we will not lose all of our money if we put it all.

It seems to me that it is too positive to think that all of this is going to be over in a couple of weeks, the price is clearly showing a negative trend, and there is not an end in sight to this trend, most likely we are going to be in a bear market for months, our only hope is that the halving is going to change all of this and revert the negative trend.

But if that doesn't happen then that will be a very serious sign that the bear market is going to last a lot more than what people thought and that the whole year of 2020 could be a negative one.

This heavy downfall will lead to a good start once you successfully place a good entry and hold everything till the value bounce back and gives a lots of profits. It's tough to anticipate which position might be the best timing but considering the fact that it with bounce up will give some confidence to keep chasing the right time to invest your money and bring good value to your investment.

For this whole year of 2019, it seems like in general there is no improvement for altcoins, same as what happen last year.

So maybe, we will see the altcoins season by next year?

Panic selling triggers even easier when there are no people buying :D We can experience a little halving optimism at this time, but it's mostly people who wanna make money before xmas and are not really serious about what they doing. You can expect lows in late december/january when those weak moneyz capitulate.

In my opinion altcoins dropped in price because they followed the price of bitcoin which fell. But this decline was only temporary,
considering the year 2020 there will be a halving event that can make the price of bitcoin go up. If bitcoin goes up, then automatically
altcoins will also go up. Right now only need to be patient, if you still have more capital can buy more altcoins. Because this is a great
opportunity to buy again altcoins at cheap prices, therefore if the price goes up you can get a decent profit.

Everyone has become too pessimistic. This is all due to the large rise in cryptocurrency. But remember how many years Bitcoin has grown to this figure. Also, the price grew because few people knew about it, and everyone just bought up without thinking. Now more and more people are being blamed about the blockchain. It's good. It takes time for altcoins to become as strong as bitcoin.

Various kinds of speculation also appears before the turn of the year. everyone in the crypto community is wondering how the future of Bitcoin and Altcoin will be in 2020.?
Questions like these arise because the famous crypto exchange is very volatile, from very high prices to very low prices in a short period, because these conditions make the future of the crypto exchange very difficult to predict. Even though his condition is bleeding, some people can still profit, by using the short-term investment method will make traders more eager to increase the profits they can get.

altcoin can get pump if bitcoin's dominance decreased, at least 50:50
at this this time, it is 67:33, it makes altcoin has no chance to get pump

beside that, altcoin would be pump when Bitcoin itself reach new ATH, if not, there is no chance
the next halving would be one of the reason too.

I have also made the same observation, the price of bitcoin despite its movements keeps generating higher lows, this shows a very clear positive trend, however we cannot ever be sure that things are not going to change at some point in the future because as we know the market can be very irrational.

With that in mind it is still advisable to watch the price every day to avoid any kind of unpleasant surprise, however that observation only applies to bitcoin because as we know there were many alts with good potential that despite all of that eventually crashed and never recovered.
