Let us talk straight. In this trying times some were coming back here in the forum knowing they could get hope to join in bounty hunting and to earn tokens by which then converted to btc then fiat. I know of this because I myself was a bounty hunter before and doing odd stuffs and then I quit due to the fact that many projects do failed or they did not pay and make a good exchange for their tokens rewarded.

Since I have been long gone into bounty hunting(earning tokens) I want to know if bounty hunting promoting an ICO project still earning. How much was the highest paid to you from bounty projects? (for the year 2019-2020 projects only.)

The reality is that 9 of 10 campaigns won't worth your time. But the 10th one will pay all of these campaign where you spend your time. Everyone is comppaining here about the very low bounty rewards, but there isn't any more profitable job online for people that don't have skills to do any high skill jobs. :)

During 2019-2020 I have now not produced anything from a bounty campaign. Yes, I did quit the campaign a long time after the market crash that occurred in 2018. Many projects but I think not many were successful. I chose to trade in the crypto market instead of working on a campaign.

Yes, this is what I have thought but basing on the numbers of users joining the project until now were still the same. There were many I guess left but there were many also joining. Anyway, good luck to them if they can still be rewarded good. I still have to look for some answers here and anyway thanks for the idea about crypto trading. I have seen an app to where I can trade crypto fast and easy.

Same story here. I don't see much value in bounty hunting anymore. Especially during current time when market is developing rapidly - you can short daily and get a lot of profit. Or you can predict long term motion if you don understand how things work here.
Both of these options are better than bounties imo

Promoting an ICO project no longer produces and ends with failure at the end, therefore avoid the ICO that you participated in the bounty.

I have seen progress in the current year and many bounties are productive and have also produced a large amount of money which has been successful this year so it is likely that hunters will see productive bounties again.

For the whole year of 2019 to 2020 I only earned a total of $150 and so many of the bounty campaign that I've participated did not pay me until now, this is the reason why I left the bounty campaign and decided to promoting gambling site and hopefully I will not go back promoting these scam projects.

Never even visited the bounties section for very long time, and I don't think only newbies and low member rank are interested in bounties and all other members are joining in bitcoin signature campaign since 2020 lot of bitcoin signature campaigns were opened and to be honest most of them were having open spots lacking the members to join.

I also stop focusing on doing other bounties for long, berore I always join in content creation and social media campaigns but now I only do register but then sometimes I even forgot to do it since payment were not guarantee, since some put extension in the span of campaign and keeps adjusting the date of payment, I prefer doing casino signature campaign now, that even reward amount is fixed they willing to pay weekly then we can use it to earn especially this time of Covid. I still earn some last 2019 but this year I'm just starting to do it again. For I realize we already have this opportunity that some people didn't know to earn by just posting so make the most out of it.

during 2019 I did not join bounty because I see bounty was no longer profitable and I started to join bounty in 2020 and hope that this year I can get more than $ 500 or $ 1000 like 2017 ;D

Well, I also didn't participate in a lot of good bounties in 2019-2020. It's just that, I haven't been able to conclude that, because most likely, I get a profit from the bounty in 2019 around $ 200 or maybe higher. however, I don't know yet how much I can produce this year.

Making something every weeks is a lot better than waiting for months and years without any hope, that is why members are moving to bitcoin paying signature campaigns and everyone who is looking for a campaign should visit service section and grab their spot on any open campaign.

Well ill never participate in in any bounty that year even until today I stop to join bounty hunting since 2018. I still watching bounties section  but  I don't see enough reasons to be back again to that kind of campaign. Besides there a high chance that your work and time will just be wasted if you join of what bounty we have right now.

I am looking for bounty that paid popular crypto but the payment they give is not enough for me to join.

You can see all the dollars written in the title of the bounty thread. Maybe that's the amount obtained. You can calculate this by seeing how many dollars the amount of money is for participants, and sharing it for each campaign.
However, the amount obtained is based on the tread bounty, and is written in the spreadsheet.

No, promoting ICO projects aren't worthed anymore. Most of them failed to collect funds because of less interest from investors. Finally, those ICO projects just ended their project very early once they cannot reach soft-cap on the fundraising phase. Even worse, many ICOs are scams, the team members of the projects disappeared after the fundraising phase. So, investors and bounty hunters just hold ICO tokens with no hope for listing on exchanges. Well, this makes people leave ICOs and prefer to join IEOs nowadays, including bounty hunters.

2019 I did not participate in campaign activity at all because of busy in real life and at that time, many projects that were less clear made me uninterested. This year I tried to join altcoin campaign again, but it seems that altcoin campaign can now be equated as before because in terms of allocation, price tokens all have been different from projects in 2017 and 2018, but I see some altcoin campaigns are still eligible to follow.

If you expect $ 1,000 this year in a bounty campaign, I think it will be very difficult for you to achieve, because between 2019 and 2020 I see no significant difference in each bounty campaign, let alone to get $ 1000 in a bounty, $ 500 alone is very it is difficult to achieve by every bounty participant at the moment, now the situation is very different from 2017.

Nowadays I do not think bounty is still worthy to do, besides the rewards rate is too small almost of them solely deceiving us or did not appreciate any of our works.
I did not remember the exact times whether 2018 or 2019, the last bounty (solely on signature) which I followed was eosbet nowadays known as earnbet and I solely got around $70 for less than a month.

The pay is really bad these days with covid going around and not many good projects anymore. I think 2017-2018 is the best year for bounty hunters as a lot of good projects to do the bounty and hype around it enough to make a worthwhile profit.

There is a lot of hunter telling that joining a campaign is not worth this time but it was opposite to my experienced because joining a campaign for the year 2019 -2020 is a lucky year for me. I was able to build our house using a money that i earn from bounty campaign. Although there are some bounty not paying or just a little but still it can help especially this time.It is still another source of income as long as you have patience and perseverance.

2019 was very tough as far as earning tangible income via bounty campaigns personally I didn't bother to promote any project having study the market were a lot of those projects failed or ended up as scam having been a victim of one those project in 2018, I mainly focused on competitive signature campaign of which high merited members are favored, I only did few ones and earned some bucks.
Bounty hunting requires a lot time with dedication it's a pity that earnings are not enough for hunters.

I really can't tell because most bounties pays too little, 30$ to 70$ highest, the best bounty that pays me 1000$ just on a single project was air wallet, the project isn't good enough and it's worthless now but I was able to dump when trading starts on a Korean exchange in January this year  

I participated in about 15 bounties in 2019, but it was two of them that I actually got some manageable amount totalling $500.  Unfortunately 2020 has not really been a good bounty year for me.  I just participated in a bounty recently which lasted for 12 weeks, at the end of the day with my telegram and signature campaigns, I only got $18.5 for the whole weeks, so disheartening!!

Only the absolute shittest of projects run a bounty campaign for the most part. This is because they can't afford to hire a marketing team they pay a bunch of Bitcointalk shillers to spam the forum, Telegram and social media.

If you want to earn money, start looking into profitable low cap altcoins and do your own research. Or throw your time away on these random projects, your choice.

I know this one hurts but bounty hunting becomes more shittier until up to these years and its not really worth for the time.ICO becomes shit and so as with its marketing so you cant really expect much from it

and out of those projects that do still launched even up to this day will surely face up failure in the end of the line.Even legit project do even hardly get sufficient funding support.

Majority is on IEO's now and also this one do also have a hard time on accumulating nor getting p some support.So to answer up the question then its a NO! Its never been worthy to return back.

Most the replies I have read were all about bad projects turn out to become a scam project. Others were too able to profit at the same time minimal and there is a quite one that earn huge to be able to build their house.

However initial impression for now that bounty does not really worth it to join or much worst invest. Besides, promoting a crowd funding project now is more difficult due to the pandemic. As we all know that others most of us striving for survival not only to get the basic needs but to get away from infection of the virus itself.

Although I am out of the bounty campaign I am still getting updates on the best campaign in the market, for the year 2019 I got nothing because of three bounty campaign I participated either did not distribute their bounty or dead before it hit the market, last campaign I promoted was Adab where I only made $40 when I dump it after that I move out of the bounty campaign.

 about 2 months ago I joined the bounty hacken.io for the bounty signature which I did in a month was only valued at around $ 25 for the SR.member ranking.

Well I didnt participate to any bounties that pays in tokens from 2019-2020. From the past years I prefer the campaign that pays in bitcoin because it has big difference compared to tokens payment due to scam or failed projects. The last time I participate in bounty campaign is 2018 if im not mistaken, through facebook. But it didnt turn out well, the few months I advertise their project go to vain.

2019 is probably the worst in the bounty campaign, majority of bounty hunters have the same experience because they have seen and experienced the heyday of bounty campaign back 2017 and 2018, and unfortunately, it's not yet coming back I have not counted my earnings in 2019 because some of the bounties that I am supposed to receive are not yet in my wallet, and some who already arrived are not yet in the market if this continues many will give up doing bounty campaign.

I participated in 4 bonus campaigns (signature): Ripaex, Mybillcash, Bitto, LoveAirCoffee from 2019 to 2020 and unfortunately all failed and I only made about $ 20> :( Now I I hope GXBlocks will be my first success with their bounty.

On year 2019, I am not active in crypto because I am focus on my full time job in the office. I also have no time in crypto that time because phones are not allowed as well as browsing on the internet. Early this year 2020, before the pandemic I decided to become active in crypto again. I first join in alts then later on I turn to gambling wherein I can earn bitcoin weekly. Well the payment depends upon my post count. But I say that the amount I am earning today has nothing to say with the amount I earned way back 2017.

Last year I think I got rewarded from the bounty only $300. This bounty name is Sessia. I think it is a good project that's why I get paid. Otherwise, in todays most of the bounty sponsor not paying the token. If you contacted them later they say that you have not contacted on time so your reward was cancelled. This year stilll, I have 0 income from the bounty. But, a little bit of hope as the market is in a revive mode that looks like.

I've participated in many bounty projects since 2019 and few paid while many haven't or few turned scam already, I don't have the actual amount in my head again but it's over 600$ in 2019 alone and this year just few dollars

I promote list of junk projects in 2019 and only very few give me few hundred dollars, I can say this year will be better because I've change my ways about how to choose bounties and I think it's better than last year

Some of the good managers here are Bubbalex (only brings the best projects), bounty detective (they also act as an escrow which guarantees payments to hunters), there are a couple more but I am totally blanking out on their names.

Bounty hunting still pays, the only problem is knowing the best project to hunt for, these days, only 1 out of 20 project will definitely worth your time, thought that particular one can pay you a huge amount of money you less expected.

I worked for 2bounties from the past 2years but I didn't received the tokens even if I receive the tokens they have not yet listed in the exchange, well this is how bounties are going.

Majority of the bounty projects are suppose to be scammers these days, I still believe in them but only on some genuine projects.

2019 year i have nothing earn form bounty and since 2020 year with stay now i have received 100$ in oks bounty. Although again i had worked in oks bounty round 2 so let's see end of this year hope i could better.

Personally, I can answer because I have a lot of experience working for remuneration. And as a bounty hunter, I can honestly say that there are projects that don't want to pay. But there are projects that pay and cover all the time spent on projects that are not paid. And now you can calculate the fact that in 2019 and 2020 it was earned quite well and this gives an excellent incentive to continue working in the bounty and receive your profit.

Thats hard to calculate with the current bounty campaign nowadays. Btc sig campaign are always better because they can guaranteed a good payment. I remember when I was still on BestChange campaign, I earned good amount of btc. But still I am looking for a potential altcoin to join after the ludena campaign.

Earning token from altcoin sometime suprises you, and could give you a shocking reward.

2019 the whole year you got nothing ? thats sounds impossible  . you can join multi bounties and not all bounties lasted for longer time . atleast 1 or two of them you can get something even if its small  .now on 2020 you said you got 100 usd in one campaign  ? wow thats a decent pay for your rank  . my rank is higher than yours but i cant hardly earn 100 usd  .  anyway money is nothing , im thankful for what i recieve because my work isnt also heavy as others and they also earn small  .

They all look like a successful one in the beginning and a lot of promises had been said.
But afterward they all just end up failing to complete their roadmap.

I believe there are still better projects out there.

I'm not participating in Bounty hunting since mid 2018 when I have been accepted to Yolodice but my experience before that is not that good but at the same time not that bad.

Most of the bounty hunters here will say that it isn't as profitable as it is last year or 2 years ago and that is what I saw too base on my observation. The success rate of an ICO declined so much that the rewards of the bounty hunters are affected too. Its because of the scams that have happened in the past years. If there are some who got some huge money still in bounty hunting then congrats but I doubt that many hunters experienced like this. Most of the projects they've advertised are probably ended up being a scam or a dead coin.

No bounty hunters can provide a good answer to that because of the volatility in nature of crypto but i always advise bounty hunters to go for a project with a good concept and calculate the allocated token in USD before participating in bounty campaign.
I once heard people saying it was bounty detectives but everything changes after a project they managed didn't pay bounty hunter i.e bounty manager can only play their part and the main reason is in the hand of the project team. However, Murat, Kazi Sajib, bubbalex, masulum, Parodium, Sofico etc seem to be doing good in bounty management.

3 years ago, we made a lot of money on a project. At that time, ICOs emerged and the projects were highly likely to succeed. Now things have been reversed a lot, for the past 5 months I haven't received any tokens from the projects I've been involved in. this is true base on some local bounty hunters here in our place whom encourage me to join bounty hunting as well. However, since I was a little bit late then I join most projects but it did fail. Until then I have made no luck at all and that is why I change my mind and to broaded it instead of just doing bounty hunting I am learning to trade. I have seen a platform to trade but seems like trading is like a gambling also to which proceeds could be unexpected in outcomes.

I interested to know if people are still making money from bounty despite the fact that IEO and ICO has definitely selling in the crowdsale.
The golden times of bounty was really in 2016-2017, I think if we will ever witness that time again, it will be when bitcoin is bullish and make a new ATH.

It looks like there are so many people were not so lucky enough to earn money in the last year. I have been getting nice amount by participated in the bounty too and people were getting scammed by the scam project. People must try to learn more how to avoid the scam project.

At present there are no ICO projects that provide decent payments, even 99% of ICO projects failed. Therefore, IEO projects become
the choice of bounty hunters now, is more profitable because it is definitely listing on exchanges. Therefore choose IEO projects that
are listed on popular exchanges. My income is around $ 30 for the highest paid bounty projects, very small income for Bounties hunters

It's just not for me buddy because every participate already received good amount in this bounty Oikos round 1. I guess  you miss it even i got small amounts from signature campaign with Facebook because my rank member. At least there has processing round 2 with limits participate so i hope higher rank people will receive good pool.

I have also just been active again in this forum, and according to my observations right now investors are more interested in investing in IEO rather than ICO because the success of the project is clearly visible in plain sight.

What about the income from the bounty? even though you are only active again, surely you have felt your first income after you were active.
for this year alone, maybe there isn't much I can get from the bounty. around $ 500-1000 that I already got from the bounty campaign. it's not just from the campaign that I participated in this year. but from some projects that I have participated in a long time ago, I can only sell this year.

2019 and early 2020 doesn't any good or interesting bounty project to spread out enough reward to worth it. Most people in this thread include me are agree with that. Earning from bounty either very low or project busted and your effort completely just a waste of time

Indeed, because most of the bounty projects are solely deceiving numerous bounty hunters with no responsibility to pay whats hunters already worked for entire times. So, no wonder if "bounties" have a bad image on hunters' minds.

If you still have the interest to participate in bounty then you should be better to choose bounty who paid in exchangeable coin/token such on this list (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5232710.0). Of course, you still need to do your own research before participating in because some of them still no have enough value on the market or there is no one who has the interest to buy their coin/token.

The amount earned is relative, well yes for me, 2019 wasn't that bad, it's not how many project you participate in that determines the amount you earn,that is the mistake most bounty hunters do,take your time,scrutinise the project,check bounty reward,check the duration of the bounty,these will help you to joining worthy bounty projects that might earn you good reward.

My highest paid for me from bounty, is from Jarvis Bounty, I haven't sell a single token yet, and luckily the price are pumping by a lot lately, and now the approximately equal to $1400+, and I'm super happy with it!

Who were good bounty managers nowadays?
In my opinion, good bounty managers right now is Bounty Detective, most of the project bounty that they've handle is paying, but not all of them, only most of it.

I can't say the specific number of my bounty earning since I don't want to be data mining. The highest would be my last bounty since I got lucky cause no one participate in it so my stake is quite high. After all the bad things at the end and early of 2019 - 2020, maybe the market will be back to normal.

When you calculate the average reward you get the result around 100-200USD per month in a signature campaign. When you think about it is a smart way how to secure your investment position in a cryptocurrencies.

You guys maybe right cause it been a long time since i check out the bounty section but from your statement i believe you expect the bounty manager to the whole job for you in the aspect of doing research about the project future success and the total allocated token worth in USD.

very sad results of my hunt from 2019 and 2020 because it is not like 2017. But whatever it is I will still be grateful because there are still many participants who do not get anything because the project they support scam

During the bounty projects in 2019-2020 there was no proper payment, even some projects still postponed distributing tokens.
And there are a lot of project scams, so in 2020 I chose to follow the gambling signature campaigns instantly make payments
with Bitcoin. Hopefully nearing the end of 2020 there will be good real projects and provide decent payments.

In 2019 - 2020 bounty project I don't think I participated in up to 4 bounty project but I really get a good reward from serve project then. I have determined that this year 2020 I will try to do more project than 2019 ad I'm looking forward to have like $500 to $1000  by the end of this year.

because I only participated in altcoin signature campaign as I recall I only got $2000 last year. and this year I only got $200 from participating campagin actually could be more if all campaigns paid. unfortunately some altcoin campaigns as we know usually pay rewards after 3 months after signature campaign end.

You were joined only by scam bounty but by mistakes I joined both. I have been waiting a year since I completed the bitwings campaign but scam is a scam. My bad luck that I didn't get huge rewards but I found some legit campaigns like Harmony, CARTESI, Relictum Pro, Oikos and Terracredit campaigns. In the future these projects could give me some high profits.

I joined lots of bounty project past year and still continue my hunting journey. Last year i joined couple of good quality bounty campaign but it's sad to say that payment wasn't good enough. Maximum projects are dead or paused now but couple of projects did great job. I earned around $2k i guess, but i don't know it's enough or not cause the effort i did i don't think it's worthy payment. In this year i started with good vibes but corona break everything. And about BM, it's not a good idea to pick specific someone. I do respect those MB who always try to bring some good projects for hunters.

The last time I earned big on a bounty was on 2018. After that a never ending stream of unpaid or failed bounties happened. I am not sure what really caused that but I guess the events in the first quarter of 2018 where bitcoin dropped sharply from almost 20k to 3k might have something to do with it. Also at this time many scam ICO's were seen and many bounty hunters got scammed and were not paid. That is why now, I only join Bitcoin based bounties this year. Hopefully it should also be productive and produce good results.

Well, I feel the same way. not many projects really paid dearly for the two years. Even though we haven't seen all the bounties this year, but in 2019, the bounties will not be very successful. however, very few people made more than $ 1,000 in 2019 from a bounty.

There are not too many projects that are started in 2020, that's the reason why there are not too many bounty campaigns also. But the OP is asking about the year 2019-20 and not 2020-21. In the past year I wasn't available on the forum as was busy with my studies and just recently came back and joined the koinpro signature campaign and now I'm in the WhalesToken platform signature campaign which pays good amount if you see their base price per token then it is decent pay, the only problem is that the coin isn't listed on any exchange right now and you can only do the auction on their website to sell your coins, other than that everything is fine with good pay as well.

Yes, and this condition is a condition experienced by bounty participants in general this year, including me too, so I choose a campaign that is really good in my opinion and has also been listed on the exchange.

That depends on the reward pool that is distributed by those bounty campaigns. For most bounties that span for months, they have reward pools that is equivalent to at least $10,000 above and it is distributed into different kind of campaigns.

Joining Signature Campaigns in the Services section can also be profitable but you need to climb up the tier spots if you want to earn more. You just need to stay on those campaigns and hope that there will be bonuses included by managers if you posted quality contents.

You can earn up to $100 per month if you are joining long term bounties and that would be really profitable.

Bounties is like digging up the ground for valuable items, some times you find nothing and sometimes you find less valuable items but you can actually get lucky and find a gem and that gem will be enough to repay you for all those times you've been digging the ground for valuable item, I haven't find the right gem yet but I'm on it

Signature is a part of bounty, I only earn few bucks this year 2020, from 2018 to 2019 I guess I can call it zero, because bounties are not that worth it at all. So many failure project and turned scam, Yes there are some that success and stay at the run but with so many participants you will get almost nothing, I suggest doing the hard task in doing bounties to have a chance to earn a decent amount. I don't think hunters are being paid with high amount this time like on year 2017.

Around 50$ is what I got this year, I joined a lot of bounty in 2020 but no bounty really succeeded. Some bounty have big budget but in the end the price collapsed many times and made me get only a few cents from it.

That sad part being of being a  bounty hunter, you seen a good decent amount of allocated budget using the part of
coin that developers created, once that the bounty ended the amount of chance that you'll be getting decent value in  fiat is slim, like what you have said, the chance that the coin will completely being dumped after its being added to exchange or the developers will forget
about listing and runaway with the fund that they've collected.

I was worked as a bounty hunter last 2 years and i make a good amount of money through it. Though i also faced same issue of losing many of bounty campaign fake and they didn't paid lots of just paid few penny that is not value for my work as i did. But now a days i only work for those bounties who actually have value for money. It's not in a day just a result of my last 2 years experience. Hope you will be ensure this if you research well. during 2020 I participated in two campaigns that still have not distributed token hunters until now, they only promised and promised. so during 2020 until now I have not produced anything :'(

this year i didn't receive any bounty rewards because i've participated a lot of  fraud campaigns but before i have rewarded with better bounty rewards.

The best year that I am doing bounties is on 2017, but it was on the 4th quarter. If I knew bounty campaigns in early 2017, I would have pocketed a lot of it. On 2018 where Bitcoin had its greatest crash from almost $20k to $3k, I am just lucky enough to cash out some bounties when they were still having good value, plus being a development team member in various projects.

2019 bounties were not much, but few ones got lucky. I was relying on some of the bounty tokens I #HODL since 2018 where they still maintained value, which I could afford traveling a lot overseas.

As for 2020? We'll, I don't know. Although that I am still joining some for extra money during the pandemic, it's way better than nothing at all. Plus, DeFi projects with bounty are something that I am keeping an eye on.

It's a pity to hear this, but that's the general situation for bounty right now. Most bounty will delay distribution and it will last for months. I used to take part in 1-2 bounty but they delayed it for 1 year, after that they then distributed useless tokens to me

I gave up bounty hunting for a long time especially during the 2019 -20 but before that I got lucky with going for share ring bounty and it is performing really well now and doing partnership after partnership.

That is really the burden of bounty hunters when it comes to ICOs and Bounty campaigns. That is why bounty hunters either stopped or moved on to bitcoin or ETH based bounties. That affected legitimate Altcoin ICOs also because the bounty hunters who excel in many different skills are nowhere to be found since they moved on to bitcoin or satoshi bounties, and the ones who are hunting for altcoin icos are the new comers to cryptocurrency, possibly affecting the quality of the posts and the skills that they need in accomplishing their marketing goals.

80$ is a good value already but it seems like that it is even a luck getting a reward of 80 $ with so many bounty campaigns are scam. I don't think the risks in trading are lower than being a bounty participant. These are incommensurable risks, the goal of each trader is to reduce them as much as possible.

As for trading, if you have no experience then I believe you will quickly fail. You will only lose time if bounty becomes scam, but you will lose money when you choose the wrong altcoin that you buy. Be careful with it

It looks like you didn't know how to choose the right project and there was a lot of people who have been getting really nice reward from doing bounty hunting in the past years. that depends on how someone can choose the project based on the quality over the quantity that has already offered in total allocation.

Yes, we're still earning but the pay is lower than before. Merit abuse makes my ranks, Member is the lowest pay for almost every bounty campaign so can't expect much. At least before, people would shy from doing merit abuse to get their alts to Member rank due to it still a new thing but now, I saw many newbies/jr rank giving each other merit or recived merit from a same source.

Not only they failed but many were scams.  Other successful ICO never paid their bounty hunters while others are delaying their payment, and worst they will resort to requiring KYC on bounty hunters when it wasn't there as a requirement to begin with and swapping tokens to minimize the possible profit of the bounty hunters.


From all the altcoin bounty I joined, I have not earn anything since its either they don't pay or there is no exchange to trade.

i think they system is still the way it used to be, just a few projects pay their huntersand for that reason i only particiapte in bounties that has already finshed its ICO/IEO and are already in exchanges as they wouldn't want to jeopardise their project by holding back on their promises of making payment afetr working.

I'm new and I haven't earn anything from bounties on this forum yet, I've used few third party bounty Platforms and earned few 100$ or lower sometimes, one thing I've learned is that not all projects will end up doing well, most will fail and few will survive

Nothing yet coz i just started again. I stopped doing airdrops and bounties 1st quarter of 2019 coz 6 of my bounties didn't pay any single token so i thought i'm just wasting my time. Hopefully all my 8 bounties now would pay.

I went through the previous posts, and it was heartening to know that at least some of the new bounty hunters are working hard and are being rewarded. I stopped doing bounties in 2018 and since then I am concentrating on campaigns which make the payment in BTC. But then, I understand that it is going to be very difficult for the new users, to get a slot in these campaigns.

Guys, prepare for more bounty participants in next few weeks, the bull run is starting and old participants will come back to fill their bags. This would lead into even lower rewards than we have now received.

The year 2019-2020 was the least productive for me in terms of earnings from bounty campaigns I joined. The rewards I got from the many projects I joined was very minimal. The only positive outcome that year gave me was the rewards I got from a campaign I joined the year before. Was surprised the project distributed rewards and the equivalent in the market was very high.

It was a good decision. Since 2018, I will no longer see good campaigns to be able to participate. Most would be a waste of time with those campaigns. I also want to participate in BTC payment campaigns but it's really too hard

Many scam bounties appear when BTC reach it's all time high. Earning high in bounties is not a history, it might never happen again since many lose trust already in projects and btc or alt prices is way too high than before. We're still lucky enough that we were able to earn from it and experience it. I never stop in crypto but do stop doing bounties, but still online and checking whether there will be a opportunity to join or to invest in a potential project as well to read revoews or check promos and raffle here and in gambling.

Honestly, in the year 2019-2020, I did not receive any bounty except one airdrop OGN trading in Binance give me some good dollars. I am really disappointed as I have completed a lot of bounty jobs maximum did not pay the bounties. some are still delaying and the coins/tokens I have gt are almost dead from the beginning due to trade on low-rank exchange with almost zero volume.

Majority of the posts mentioned 2020 hasn't got them with any big rewards. Almost similar is the reality during the year 2019, but users have earned little out of different bounties. Like the campaign you are participating in, you will not make too much money from it but you will definitely get a little. Good thing is that very early at your stage you have understood this that not all will succeed and so you are prepare for the failure as well. Do use your own understanding before investing in any of the new projects and see the pros and cons. Since the rate of good bounties decreased to like 3 out of 10 bounties are ok & didn't exit scam just after the end of their sales, i stopped doing them like before.
I personally didn't face a good bounty since late 2017 & first 2018, those days i was earning decent $$$ just by doing some signature & social media campaigns. today you'll be lucky if they didn't exit scam before the end of the bounty lol.

I think you are still lucky because you can get the results of many bounty campaigns, to be honest, in 2019 there is no income from bounty campaigns anymore and recently I participated in another campaign by accepting bitcoin payments.

All I did 2019/2020 was just as investment I can't say I made something reasonable in those period, the market was so bad that only one project was able to deliver something worthwhile, too much scam project out of the very few available,some will just come waste your time and energy and diffuse suddenly without notification, some will even conclude their project count stake and no delivery of token but we were always consoling ourselves to be patient. It was really an enduring moment although 2020 is still moving a lot can still be achieved.

It's still relevant as long as you are getting legit project but otherwise when you get a scam project and then it's not yet relevant as the hunters will actually waste a lot of their time to promote scam project.

Are you sure? This is Bounty detective in 2020. Cant say that "most projects under their management are listed". Also number of campaigns, that distribute is quite low. Maybe this is too early to blame them, but I'm sure it is too early to name them "best bounty managers".

You are still fortunate to be able to get the results of that many bounty campaigns because there are still many other people who do not produce anything from the bounty campaign, for now the detective bounty manager can be one place to participate and become a participant of his campaign.

I only made a few hundred dollars this year, because some of the projects I participated in ended in disappointment.  there are sales cases that don't meet the target.  There are also projects that are not worth the price of the token.  but the project that I'm participating in right now is sure to get money when the campaign ends.

I think to be able to recover the price of the team not have to wait but the team should be able to create a new development that can make investors come back and buy the tokens because if only waiting for the price of a token like that will not recover, in contrast to the bitcoin you can wait for because bitcoin has a very high demand whereas a new token will not be like that.

Most of my earning from my altcoin bounty last year was from my old bounties around 2017-2018 which suddenly had value due to demand and active team development. I haven't joined any altcoin bounty since the bear market since most new projects are struggling to gather funds and to progress which leads developers to leave their own projects. The success rate of bounty projects are really slim, but there are still some who managed to earn through bounty, but those bounties were hidden gems.

I hope so, we must aware of some management team have been starting to escrow the reward right now and it looks like how much the money that will have earned by the hunters can't be determined yet. There aren't any easy ways to turn back. You have to trust in running projects which will be given in the future. To see a good sign of any new projects, we have to wait 2 years. The Ferrum network was giving me some good rewards but I want to hold it until the next pump of cryptocurrency. Still, last year projects didn't make distribution to hunters.

The project didn't have any obvious updates, prices have been going down ever since they listed at the exchanges. I don't see any opportunity for prices to rise like they were before, totally a bullshit campaign.

I missed almost a year and didn't participate in any bounties as many projects didn't pay anything, I was disappointed. Instead, I started trading. Now I decided to participate 1-2 campaigns because I found the projects worthy.

I believe this is due to cryptocurrency had nothing serious or new in past years. The year of 2020 can be name as a year of DeFi, as I see DeFi appears everywhere right now. Combined with upcoming Ethereum 2.0 update, DeFi projects I believe would achieve high results. So now, it is a chance (your participation in dfinance for example) to be the first amount thousands.

I also think that in the near future, we will see a lot of Defi projects appear in this market. And they will create a lot of bounty to create hype, follow the market and participate in the best campaigns to make a profit.

I joined a lot of bounty campaign last year 2019-2020 but luckily only one paid out of all campaign that i joined. It's really annoying that you give your full support to the project for promoting them for how many weeks and months but at the end they will not pay and give importance to all hunters.

This year has not been lucrative for me in terms of bounty payment. Most projects that do pay only pay peanuts at the end of the campaigns, probably because of the large number of participants subscribed to the campaign, and the because good projects nowadays don't offer big rewards like before again.
So I just choose which campaigns to join, hoping for the best but sometimes expecting the worst cos this is cryptocurrency world where anything can happen. An underdog project could give a hunter their bug pay check.

Bounty hunting still works and earn a couple of dollars for each bounty project, the rate would be higher if you have a better rank for the signature campaign. Tho there are no ICO projects like it use to be so no bounty for them. Mine highest paid in this year would be $200 for 1 month in the signature campaign. Nowadays, there is a group call Bounty Detective that has been employed in serval bounty projects.

Giveaways and all the basic stuff in 2019 gave me a profit of about 0.05 BTC so pocket money. The signature campaign brought me more than 0.4 BTC on a year which is a hefty sum.

The leduna protocol is one example of great project, they pay using ethereum and so many participants receive good amount, yeah their distribution so slow but surely he will do it. I think no body will give you actual ans here ;D ;D but i did bounty because i haven't enough money to convert me in another work like trading or IEO investing. Yes most of the campaign was failed as market crash but i got good fiat money from MB8 coin and some little bit money from another campaign also. But at the end of 2020 as market going to pump i think most of the campaign will be successful and hope for better amount in next few months.

Yeah, 2019-2020 years are very difficult to get a good bounty, only a small part can make the bounty hunters smile. My personal experience when participating in bounties in 2019-2020 has never felt the results of a project that I have participated in, even if I get a token, it is only a decoration in the wallet, because it has no selling value in the market.

The highest-paid I received for this time between 2019-2020 is around $400 for a month of signature campaign. Though, ICO project doesn't relevant like it was before. IEO is the preferred choice among everyone, from investors to bounty hunters. Bounty managers scene is still the same but there is some group of bounty managers instead of a lone manager back in the day.

I was last years out of the game but it seems I missed nothing, I only took part in Ferrum bounty on bounty0x and make 300$, now I try to find something worth to take part but I see nothing intresting.

For me I have earned good amount of bounty compre to 2019. Specifically I I check for 2020 it was from $50 to $250(price is increasing :) ). There were good campaigns from Ulum, bubbalex and bounty detective.

Just small income from being bounty hunter today, its getting small and almost nothing what i get, its so sad when we remember on 2017 later :(.

50$ for a year of work, I don't think it's really worth it. If you have an outside job I think you can make at least $ 300 a month. Bounty isn't as good as it once was, so don't depend on it and expect it

To be honest I have not seen good rewards yet but i am hopeful that in coming months and next few years could be very profitable for bounty hunting. Regarding the best bounty managers, I will agree with everyone that top 2 3 bounty managers are doing great like BD and bubbalex but my participation in even their campaigns has not yielded much only small reward but with bull market it can change quickly.

Because I was a member rank so most of my earning from bounty usually around only $100 per month on average. Highest paid I ever have in 2019-2020 is $300 for a single bounty that lasts for a month and a half. I see a huge reduction from bounty since this year so I guess must be because of the corona.

We even get lot of user stories about unsatisfactory result from bounty although not all of them are the same but most of them will end up disappointing. Throughout 2020 I never even joined the bounty again because I thought it would be a waste of time and effort.

Some bounty still provide benefit for participant with satisfactory result. But I will never agree that joining a bounty is considered a job, because it will only prevent us from contributing to the forum. We recommend that whatever result we get here must be balanced with a positive contribution to the forum.

But i am staying hopeful and positive so im continuously working and i believe that even if i got one good and big reward that will make up for most of my work because we have been seeing 100x gains in bull markets and if we get such coins even only a couple we can be in a very good position but we have to be patient.

A few weeks ago i was bored and decided to give it another shot. Nowadays there are some bounties around that pay weekly in BTC. Those are the safest bet in my opinion, but also pretty hard to get in.
Especially if you have a pretty low rank like me  :(

I have never managed to register in bounty campaigns where users were paid money in bitcoin. people book the places in one minute.

It wasn't a bad result this year, as you know bounty has become a lot tougher than before, there are not too many bounty successes and there are too many scams in this market. This year I have received just over $ 50 so far

What kind of bounty you are telling that they paid btc? Bounty is different from campaign I think you misunderstood  it. I also see bounty that paid in  Bitcoin once and I am one their participants its refercoins and they end that campaign last month. I don't find any other one that follow that kind bounties I hope they can continue it with another new project.

I don't care too much about bounty, you'll never get a lot of money from it this year. There is little bounty success and too many people involved, I tried to join one on bounty this year but it didn't work as well as expected

I do think that you also might have not earned that much for these years too, because you want to know what others have earned. Forget knowing what we earned and just focus on things that matter, like building your skills in investment and trading. If someone earned big in bounties let them be, I don't even think they will spill it out to you as if they owe you their lives. Well, if someone did managed to tell you they earned that big and gave you a staggering amount, what then? Bounties for 2019 and 2020 are so full of crap that thousands of us rather want to earn bitcoin based and ETH based bounties.

Nothing so far since my first bounty is OIKOS and I believe I will make good money from it because it's a DeFi project and it's fully functional and also listed on good exchanges, another satisfying news about OIKOS bounty is they paid the first round bounty reward completely

That depends on your campaign dude and if you were participating in the legit campaign and you can earn a lot of money. it looks like you are out of your luck and just tries to use all of your effort to find the best bounty. I think that will be easy to be done.

The biggest money I made from crypto isn't from bounties, I'm new to bounties and I'm still promoting Oikos project, I made good money from trading on binance exchange and also joining few high quality Airdrops like band protocol and origin protocol

is this important? hmm but it doesn't matter, if you want to find out, then I personally in 2019-2020 honestly didn't get good results from the previous bounty campaign. almost most of them are scamed & there are few tokens but the price is still cheap. maybe 2019-2020 is not a good year for me.

Didn't join bounty in 2019 But started joining in bounty 2020. Though got some coins, Price is not so much. I think Need more time because After the dump that needs time for the pump. Many hunters Dump the coin prices. Sheng was a good bounty for 2020. I think the end of this year I will count how much I earned form bounty.

Honestly, i really sad about the income i got from bounty campaigns in 2019.
There are many campaigns that still haven't pay their participants until now, i am one of the participants too.
So, i hope with the rising of cryptocurrency market nowadays, there will be some good projects to participate.

2019 is the worse year in bounty campaign it did not reach even half of my earnings in 2017 and there were so many scam projects and the rewards are way to low that it's not worth or you will be question yourself if it's still worth joining an ICO bounty campaign, so far this 2020 better because of the Oikos one of the best campaign I'm in this 2020.

I also could have 5 times more money if will not have scam campaigns and campaigns that have not paid me for several years, but I am just as happy with what I got. many projects brought me good profit

I see them as a successful project and have made a distribution for bounty. But the price has been dropped several times and each bounty hunter only gets 15-30 $ for their 3 months of work, so I don't think it's really as good as you think. There are many better bounty like DIA, OKS, Injective ...

Until now，i must say i earn nothing，because i didnt join any of bounty compaign in the year 2019-2020. No one knows the results of the campaigns in advance, when the DIA bounty begins people say it was a bullshit campaign and the budget was too low. And then they get listed at the exchange and the price goes up 60 times. Participating in bounty must have the same luck

I can't say for sure how much I earned in 2019-2020, because many tokens received from bounty companies were sold and invested in other cryptocurrencies, and in my portfolio still many different cryptocurrencies that I have not sold in 2019-2020, but I can say with confidence that you can still get a good profit in bounty sphere for additional income.

Most of the campaign i joined before are scam, it was really hard for me to find a campaign that is legit because i have no knowledge in detecting scams. I really didn't earn that much with that timeframe which is terrible for me because of the time i put in promoting is not worth it.

In 2019 I made more than $ 300 from a campaign, which is a result that makes me quite satisfied. I expected 2020 to get better, but in the end all hope fell apart. I know this project well, they are really a good project and have a big bounty budget. Hopefully after the bounty ends, they will deliver it on time, and the price will stabilize and not crash.

well I think what you experienced is almost like what I experienced because the conditions in 2019-2020 were a few bounty campaigns in circulation and a few developing projects meant that my income in the bounty campaign was not that much anymore, the difference was very much and it was really terrible when seeing that the bounty campaign is no longer able to make money.

Actually my bad that I didn't participate in a good campaign like Ferrum network and DIA projects. From the start active my hunting still now balance is almost zero, but my work will pay me in the future. Hhampuz, Bubbalex, Parodium and yahoo62278 are my favorite bounty managers. The bountydetective manager is also legit to me but still rewards are very low. I assume there are some rewards from the swapzilla campaign.

in 2017-2018, payment using tokens still has hope to be exchanged for Bitcoin. But now, only 2% of new coins can be live and can be exchanged. I left that job for a year, and I'm only interested in a few projects that really make me believe this is a good project, like this signature I use.

Some campaigns are no longer worth the effort, I even joined last year from a reputable Bounty manager still ending up with zero payment. I was not really expecting that much from past campaign since the ICO hype died, but I had one project that I joined from 2018 paid just this year and it was a good amount, worth waiting for.

In 2018 I stopped being a bounty hunter because there were many scam projects. then in 2019 and 2020 I have not earned any more from the bounty. I hope now I can contribute even more so that maybe I can become a bounty manager and can also provide income for people here.

I can't say about how much I earn around 2019-2020 bounty projects since this is a private matter but I can say it is very low. Like everyone has said, must be caused by the pandemic that reduces everyone's asset, meaning lower payout. I saw only a few named bounty managers and there is a new group of bounty managers called "BOUNTY DETECTIVE".

I did the same thing as @OP, saw a lot of failed ICOs and their declining reputation kept me out of there for a while. As for 2018-2019, I had a few things I needed to do to study machine learning development, and in 2020 I just started over after seeing the crypto market try to come back to life. If asked, I don't get anything because I am not in any project as a bounty hunter.

I didn't participated in any bounties during this period. But my signature campaign (which pays me in BTC) got me good rewards. The last time I participated in a bounty campaign was in 2018. I might have participated in two or three dozen bounties, but none of them got me more than $100 in rewards (each). I had participated in both signature and social media bounties.

Yesterday I see a thread about Cartexi, and this project success listed in Binance. The project managed by bubbalex, and also we know the previous project called DIA was also successful. Based on the track record I choose bubbalex as good bounty managers, I see he have the skill to identify the future of the project

Even if you find one run by a reputable manager all you can be sure of is that you will get paid but not if the token will have any value or even be listed on an exchange. When it gets listed it can have low volume or be abandoned soon or have a very low value.

There's so many things that can go wrong that it's not worth the risk. New coin bounties are only for desperate people.

Amazing when there are still people asking this problem, I myself have not participated in the bounty for almost 2 years. And now starting to be active again with the Signature Campaign, because I know that the project I am participating in is very good, I decided to follow it.

And 2017 is the golden bounty era where I can get $100- $300 by joining several bounties.

I have only done one campaign this year but it was a lengthy one and its tokens are still not listed so are not liquid and they are developing their own dex and platform development is in progress.
I hope i will end up with good reward out of it and also with the current campaign i am doing.

I didn't get anything because in 2019 I don't take part in any bounty campaign, and in 2020 I just joined bounty, but unfortunately for payments, there will be a lockup for up to one year it doesn't matter because I'm only trying a DeFi trend and if it doesn't work it's not a problem.

Me either. I don't get anything or earn anything in 2019 since I have been busy in regular working but since I have some free time and manage to give some time in cryptocurrency. I also starting to get back on track. I recently joined in btc paying campaign but the duration of the campaign is fast and not be able to apply to other campaigns since they need some merit to be applicable for the position. I only earned about 100$ since I started this 2020, I hope that it will continue as the btc also continue to increase and value of cryptocurrency become high-ticket.

Did you get it wearing same signature as you have now? If yes, then probably you wont be able to repeat your success, as now in Oikos campaign joined much more participants.

Cant remember any other campaign that can be so easy and profitable. Have a version, that you have probably sold your reward during pump.

I've made over two thousand dollars from bounties but it's just funny how I ended up losing the money, I've learn to always be satisfied with whatever you make or risks losing it all, instead of taking my profits and change to Bitcoin or FIAT and invested the money into a coin that shrink the money back to 250$, huge loss isn't it?

Not so much in 2019, but a few of these bounties did well this year considering the good market condition. For instance, Ferrum Network, Atomic wallet, Tokoin, etc. However, 2020 has really been a good year for me in terms good bounty payment. The likes of HEX, Oikos, Cartesi and few other ones in the pipeline waiting for their distribution. I keep pushing until I hit one with huge reward.

For the year 2019-2020, I haven't joined on any bounty at that time because I am busy doing my thesis. Today, it is my first bounty for this year so I am hoping to earn more for my family. Are there still many projects that hold ICO or IEO events, just leave it because not many are successful because their project failed and many people leave, many don't have the money to pay bounty hunters but they hold promotional events, that sounds bad

Nowadays, bounty campaigns are not as good as before, projects usually pay tokens for a very long time after the campaign is completed. That makes me see that things are getting really bad, this year I haven't received any tokens from the 6 projects I do. they always make promises and then extend, which annoys me very much.
Besides, now we have bounty detective and wapinter are the 2 most reliable bounty managers today. the projects they manage are all good projects.

In my case I have many bad experiences being a bounty hunter and joining several bounty campaigns which turned out to be fake, bogus or scam at the latter part of the program. So in my case I wasn't able to gain or earn much this year but hoping that in these bounty campaigns that I have joined it can really give me the right reward that I should have earn.

How can it happen? For airdrop, you will only receive 1-2 coins for each time participant. But for bounty, you can get a few hundred dollars if the campaign is successful. This year I don't see any really good airdrops and bring a lot of money to the participants

There was not much money can be made from bounty hunter anymore.. most of the income i got just from trading cryptos at exchanges. Mostly i like a new exchanges as it still has bug and sometime we can make money from exchanges bug. Just try to search anything that worth our time rather then doing a 1 cent bountys for a month.

Its not really easy to find a good project that likely to become successful for us to earn good amount, its rare now.

I dont have a good income in bounties but im in a btc paying campaign for a year now and im contented with it. I will join in bounties again particularly on their social media campaign if I find a good project that has potential.

Time consuming but most of the time not worthy, lots of project turned into scam and only few got the real value.
Some give you decent more  are paying little as the tokens that you'll going to received are completely being dumped after
reaching the exchange, you need to keep dealing with your deeper research and pray for your luck finding the good project

I totally agree with you, if you want to get a lot of money from the bounty then we need to get really lucky and pray about it. I also participated in a couple of signature campaigns this year, but in the end it only earned me a few cents for a few weeks of hard work  ;D

It seems that the 2019/20 bounty hunting season was on ice, but I was just an occasional observer of it, so maybe some lucky folks were able to stumble upon solid projects even in a bear market. But it seems that now its getting a bit better, there were some very profitable campaigns recently, like the DIA one, so the current state of the scene is definitely looking brighter.

I think.... None. I didn't really do any bounties for the past couple year, I guess. I know that there are quite a lot of good bounties lately, but I just seemed to missed out them every chances I got. I've been hearing about DIA lately and it seems that one was one hella good bounty, too bad I'm not as active as I used to be when it was like in '17-18. So, I'm more focus on my trading ever since. Before DIA was successful, many people were skeptical of this project and disparaged it. They say this is a bullshit bounty when the budget is 5000 $, but after the bounty ended the price went up 50 times and the bounty's budget went up 50 times too, it was really a crazy growth

Exactly you have nailed it. I know that there are only few now who are willing to invest in an ICO projects because of the possibility or chances which is so high that the project is scam or will just failed. This is based on my observation in the bounties and altcoins section. Full of threads regarding ICO and most of it are scam. So sad that many do like to be creator of a coin but only few are really investing this is why no projects for now that coule succeed. Usually I do have low expectations when it comes to ICO projects. And I was not able to join too for it will be a waste of time and money.

During 2019-2020 I can only generate a small amount of income from the results of the signature campaign, because currently the competition is very tight and with Merit requirements for the last 120 days it makes it difficult for me to become a participant.

So far ther highest bounty rewards  I've received was coming from Jarvis and it was 2019 this year all the bounty I've participated are scam project I'm still on a look for a good project this 2020 is the worst year in the bounty campaign, it's so rare to find a good bounty now and if there's a good one you are late to join like the project Oikos.

Although Oikos has been listed on major exchanges, they are also one of the best Defi projects in this market. But the price wasn't really that impressive, now the price is constantly going down and it's about to go down with the ICO price. Hopefully in the future, the developer team can do many things to help the price go up

Almost all of them their majority only is to give their future plan through telegram but giving updates about the distribution

I don't remember which project, but the highest reward I got in 2019-2020 was $900 I think. The bounty itself ran for 1 month and the amount of reward I got was really impressive, $900 for a month? I will take that obviously. In $2020 so far I got nothing, I missed so much opportunity to grab some money such as UNI airdrop and other DeFi investments, but we still have time.

Lots of people made money on the bounty, but in the year 2019 up to now, there's no much good bounty campaign. But who knows those token rewards that I got from those bounties will get a good price by the end of the year or maybe the following year.

I can honestly say that you can earn money from the award, but you just need to participate in the most promising award. Since income will always depend on the completion of the task and compliance with the rules of remuneration. There were times when there were a lot of scammers in the marketplace and bounty hunters were not paid to work. I do many good project in 2019 from 2020. Amzcoin, Cartesi, Dia, Zxy, Hex is are best.  My highest earning is $800 from amzcoin. If i hold some project then i get more. My another big payment pending from Dia. Nowadays good campaign managers to me are bountydetective and bubbalex.

Really? I cant even remember any airdrop in 2020 that brought its participants at least 10 dollars. But I can name you quickly 5 bounty campaigns that brought you 10 dollars or more.

I’ve also noticed, that I reseive less airdrop spam on emails or in telegram group. I no longer get invitation PMs to join something. This might be a first sign that airdrops are dieing.

I think the most biggest it's Bounty from Arweave from that time span, I got around $300-$500 for every 2/3 weeks unfortunately it was ended. The other not really good i think, that was hard year for bounty, Anyway as your question about good manager, You can take a look to bounty Detective, So far they are honest and have good management.

I don't remember 2019, but in 2020 I haven't received anything from bounty yet. I have joined a few bounty this year but those projects have died or become scam in this market. Well I can't really say I have earn that much in bounty campaigns from 2019 to 2020 I have earn very Little because some of the campaigns do not pay the bounty hunters while others are scams it is only a few of those projects that pay.The only year I really enjoy bounty hunting is during 2017-2018 when hunters were paid very well unlike now.But I still do bounty but not as many as before I hope the conditions will improved and hunters will earn more.

As i think bounty is the best way to start as a crypto marketer at the begining stage. No investment before understanding this market just work in bounty programs and earn from the successful bounty programs/projects and then trade with them first if you think you are making the good benifit you can in! that i did for myself i was earn not much and not less suitable for a newbie and this way i think nothing to loose more. If UNIswap can give out that size of airdrop with such big amount, we are likely getting back to such a give-away in bounties. Reward in bounty is not only meant to appreciate hunters but generate spike in transaction from different individuals, if project could absorb such trade at the time of distribution and pump price, it could look attractive for whales to generate more traction and profit especially for good project. If it is around 1000USD per a year, then it would be so nice. But, I remember times when you were able to earn this amount of money in one week. Campaigns in 2017 were so profitable even there were 10 times more bounty participants.  :)

I have completed just a bounty for the year and I've earned just $400 waiting and hodling $3000 worth of the token. The second bounty I tries is still ongoing and I'll be expecting around $12,000 worth of the token. The problem is the I don't know if the token won't dump when the hunters are paid.

Now fewer and fewer projects use bounty programs, I remember there were conversations that bounty does not pay for itself, so now either projects allocate a small amount for the bounty program, or use other types of advertising.

For the year 2019-2020 I got stop working at bounty hunting for the reason that break down of my financial status. And also this time are all of my bounty coins have no value it was at negative side. As i working on some bounty programs there are a 30-40% of changes to get success on bounty programs. All bounties are not get success some of them might be i didn't earned much till now working still on few bounty programs but as i have get some idea on it some of bounty campaigns are proven success as i heard from my mates who are working on this field for 1-2 years and got a huge success. One of my friend earned about 1.2 BTC and it's about 1.15 Millions at my county currency. It doesn't matter if you stop believing that the bounty participants have made a lot of money this year, because basically everyone who is diligent in doing research and works according to what he has researched, he will definitely get money even though not as much as he wants. , the point is don't be lazy in looking for something new and then understand it well.

In this stage it is too hard to earn huge amount for bounty hunters. 2017-2018 was the best year for bounty hunters but 2010-2020 is not good enough because most of the coins are fake and scam.

If you have to do Jarvis Network bounty in early 2019, it'd be so crazy, its price is around 0.1$ with ATH at 0.35$, and listing on uniswap and Bitmax, while their bounty pool is 10M token. It's so amazing.

I was unlucky to have a good campaign during 2019-2020. Unfortunately, this year I missed a good campaign due to the limited number of participants accepted. Never give up, I am sure that in the future we will be in the position of the luckiest bounty hunter with the highest paid.

I didn’t have any income  in 2019-2020. At that time i worked on many projects but they didn’t give any payment and many of the projects were scam. At present good projects are rarely seen.  But I'm optimistic about it, one day we'll  get something better from the bounty hunter.

For me personally, the income from the bounty that I got in 2019-2020 is quite a bit compared to 2017-2018, but whatever income we get, of course we should be grateful because at least we can still earn income to meet our needs, maybe even out there many people are not getting any income right now because of the corona outbreak that continues to hit, of course this is increasingly making our economy quite difficult because our work is delayed or maybe someone has lost their job.

I estimate, in 2019 I only made $ 100- $ 200 from a few paid projects and in 2020 / during these 9 months I earned around $ 500- $ 700 from several paid projects.

my opinion bubbalex has been honored as the best manager inside this year because he manages very few bounties and they are a success for all hunters. In 2020 year bubbalex gave a good bounty gift which is DIA project. But for the defi project we participated in a better bounty Oikos and they distributed the first round tokens long time ago and we are now working on the second round.

The income from the Bounty that I earned was satisfactory from 2019-2020.  Some projects were successful at the time of the ICO sale and had high prices when listed on the exchange.

I do not remember the exact sum earned on Bounties in 2019, but if somebody thinks that it could replace salary, than he is mistaken. Bounty hunters make money, but these sums are not so great. In 2020, I trade more — this is more exciting and beneficial.

I didn't make much from bounty projects in 2018 or 2019. Most of them were Scams, projects stopped because they had no funds, and developers left their mark. This year I haven't made any money from the bounty project. only getting tokens but not yet listed on the Exchange, is not bad than not getting at all.

I witnessed that most of defi projects bounties have not paid to the hunters and some of them become scam, their social media accounts are closed. Many hunters join bounties to become rich in short time but this is not much easy now. In 2016 & 2017 period BTC price came down and no any good big bounty came in market which gives good return to the hunters. Some bounty managers change the distribution mode and they split the distribution in different months as hunters sell their stakes or earned tokens blindly which causes price fall and project become failed. I dont think so that majority have earned good income from bounties in 2019-2020 with the lower ranks, only users having good ranks can earn money from bounties not all.

But you were asleep half of 2020, so no wonder you got only 20$ from bounties. And are you sure with 20$? Tou have participated in dia under bubbalex management and wore oikos first round signature. These two campaigns brought you about 100$ minimum. Or you still hold tokens, then this is the other case.

Thre's no real assurance and most of the time you got nothing at all, it's  a risk of time working with more bounty huntings than

First of all 2019 stands to be the worst year for bounty hunters. 95% of all the projects that conducted Never paid hunters. over 60% were scammers looking for emails to hack. many failed and claimed the market was not favourable for them to launch. it was so bad that nothing happens. From 2019 to 2020 I made over $2,000 from bounty hunting. I have been involved in some good projects but the ones that did not succeed are more, coupled with some crooked projects that succeed but will never pay hunters.
But one the major breakthrough I had this year was the UNISWAP airdrop that gave about $1,200.

I have same story, totally devastated over the market condition and that time had lost interest due to super fall bitcoin market and overall complete cryptocurrency market. The best years for bounty was the year 2017 and early 2018, after that, ICO projects are slowly going down due to big number of scams and it loses its reputation, in fact, I still have a lot of bounty coins and tokens I earn the aforementioned years, and until now I'm still keeping it.

Unlike in the year 2016-2017 where every campaigns we join is we can receive our bounty. But this year, I only received a lot of useless token that has no value at all. I think there's only 1-5% of legitimate bounty campaigns that the bounty hunters have benefited from the past months.

I only earn from DIA DeFi project this year and that's around 350$, I believe that reputable bounty managers have a higher role to play here, there is higher chance of getting paid and also high chance that the project will do well, most scam projects come from bad bounty managers or new account bounty managers.

You're good with the earning out of bounties. It was the year 2017-2018 when each and every ICO token reached the peak in no time. Once again such a market condition could happen, everyone won't have the patience to hold for such a long time period without anything assured.

Considering the market of altcoins receiving $1000 - $2000 out of bounties is a big earning. A full member will get an pay of $40/week from a bitcoin paid signature campaign. If he gets into a campaign for 12 months what he earns is around $2100. Based on that what you've estimated with your bounty rewards is good.

A new era comes in crypto industry that is bounty campaign to promote your project in the crypto market and the project team where also spend a good amount of crypto for it, but we all know that all bounty programs were not good successful and peoples were get mostly nothing from it but there was some good example of reward generated from the bounties like Dego_Finance, juicy fields, etc. Mostly peoples can generate approx 100$ - 500$ in two to three months by joining five to ten bounty depending on the project concept.

There is always a catch in bounties if you are smart, I have found out that Bounties with limited participants are more rewarding than those who takes unlimited participants on their campaigns, for example check DIA bounty, even jr members are able to make over 200$ and high rank members made over 1400$ for four weeks campaign, isn't that awesome? I have less bad results from bounties because I choose carefully

Before, I have a lot of time in terms of participating in bounty campaigns but when the 2018 started; I immediately stop joining in bounty campaigns because that is the time where shit projects are popping up one at the time. I experienced to not get paid and for me that is the time for me to decide to not join in bounty and focus on joining signature campaigns. I do not know if there are still bounties out there that are becoming successful and paying its participants. If I'm not mistaken, my highest gain in bounty in the year 2017 is at around $5,000.

I don't see the 2019-2020 period going to be the best of bounty, as i have seen the time before boutny projects have brought in a lot of money. Currently, there are more projects but i still see a lot of stupid projects, i also see new BM but they still have not earned my trust because they still have poor quality projects. Some of them had become valuable at least if you have thousands of them. But most of the tokens created in 2018-2019, its frustrating years because most tokens promoted during this time were scams and not paying even their worthless tokens aren't distributed.

I just come back from doing bounty because I saw that the market is moving up again and there will be many projects that will come out and will gain a lot of support coming from investors, hopefully the project that I'm in right now which is my first bounty, this last quarter will give me a good result.

Part of the reason why hunters dump token. I made some few token from hunting too in 2019 and the highest token I earn came from a project that seems to have a lot of potentials. I decided to keep the token with hope that it will be grow as the project continue. Few weeks later, the project became scam and my token is sitting useless in MEW till today. Many of my earning came from BTC paid signature campaign especially the Bestchange signature.

I have joined the bounty program since the end of 2017 until now. But from 2019 to mid 2020 I didn't participate in the bounty program at all
And I started joining the bounty since August 2020, and the income until now is not more than $ 100 if I sell it now to the market.

Since last year to 2020, it hard me to earn well in my bounty campaign which I always carry out well, but at the end of it the manager will see fault to all hunter in that month that will make him to delay payment so long before we can see payment for the month.

The golden time of bounty hunting is over. I can still remember when i joined bounty campaign in 2017 it was almost fixed that i will receive 50-100$+ per campaign. The year 2017 is really the year of bounty. Participating in bounty campaign for a month can easily give you 500$+. Even in airdrops, I remember my first airdrop bitcoin cash and sell it for 450$.

Judging by the signature of the YOUengine company that you still wear, you could have made pretty decent money. I also participated in it. Everything that I earned was paid to me. It turned out pretty well by now.

Bounty is still worth the shot even if its already 2020 and some of them don't produce enough rewards rate. Whether you are busy or not, you could still do it to earn something even if its small. I don't mind spending quite of my time here by earning 2k in peso which is already a big amount of money for me in here. Besides, learnings and trust of members in here is also a gain for me especially I am in the field of technology.

Well thanks to bubbalex I've made over 3000$ from bounties since 2019 and high percentage of the money came from bubbalex bounty campaigns like Ferrum Network, Cartesi and DIA, I earned little money from other bounties like ARCS, YOUC, Airwallet etc

This is why its never good to be committed with one campaign, if you are into signature campaign and another project came out just join the new projects social media campaign instead of waiting for the first bounty to be over, there is other campaigns like telegram, twitter and others

Honestly since 2018 cames a lot of bounty campaigns are not good to participate. But they have still good campaign that will give you a good reward but only a few of them only.

Bounty will be safe once a campaign manager will hired escrow to hold the funds so a participants will get a reward if the project team will not paid.

Hunting bounty way back in 2019 was not that good for me though. Yes, there can be good campaigns and worthy of your time but most of them are just purely scams. Besides, it's really hard to spot those good campaigns that is why I've only been participating in the campaigns that are managed by my favorite and trusted campaign manager because I am pretty sure that they won't tarnish their images over those sinister campaigns. Right now I've been participating in one of them but it was not a bounty campaign though.

I earned from Cartesi and DIA mostly and that's around 700$ to 800$, also I earned from alchemypay but distribution is just 10% completed right now as they plan to distribute in four phases, bounties are still worth trying but don't expect something big out of them

You must be grateful that you still get the results of the campaigns that you support. I also got it from cartesi, but bigger I got it from the old bitsong project which was just listed on the market after one year of development. some that I also got from SHENG and ARCS.

For that question, I earned less in 2019 than this year from bounty programs. My earnings for this year is pretty decent no matter what amount I have received. 2019 is where I am so busy in my travel opportunities here and there, attending conferences, keynote speaker in various events, etc., which I only joined less bounty programs. But for this year due to pandemic and staying at home for most of the time, I did earn a bit more and I am thankful for it, at least it could help pay my bills or buy some needs on top of my day job.

It's good to hear some people make such good money out of bounty. From the projects you have been participated in, I can say that choosing the projects and BMs is really important if you want to make money this way.

How did you managed to participate in Cartesi bounty, if you don't have a proof post in your post history and I haven't found you in spreadsheet. Found you only in DIA and you got 358 tokens. If you had sold them yesterday, you could have earned around $650 only.
But you said you earned "around 700$ to 800$". Are you lying to us ?

I have just joined this year and im with whalesheaven campaign from start because someone suggested it to me. It is a year long campaign and all supply of wht will be distributed through bounty campaign so its like the promoters will be owning the whole supply which is kind of great. I am hopeful to make decent income from this campaign next year.

I don't really eanr that much in Bounty hunting because the zeall is not there due to the fact that the payment is not guaranteed. Nevertheless, I still got lucky to participate in serve Bounty and this really fetch me a cool money, I earn up to $200 dollars from the article I wrote for serve. But I know that I will earn more that that by the end of this year because I have buckled up and sit tight to work on most project and to be hopeful that they will pay.

ICOs are now very different from ICOs in 2017. Nowadays it is very difficult to choose projects that are truly successful and pay for us, I myself haven't gotten anything on the projects that I participated in, whether they were a scam or something.  I can only wait and hope.  different from the project in 2017, I got a lot of results.

Must be a truly bad years for you. You should be more selective and do better research when choosing bounties.

Year 2020 for is one of the best (I'm in bounties since 2018). I've managed to earn around 2-3k USD and with bitcoins price growth this turned to +4k USD. I might say that signature campaigns with payment in bitcoin were most profitable for me, but participating in token/coin reward based campaigns also brought good profit somehow.

I stopped the bounty campaign for a while just resume back recently and this was as a result of the same reason you analyzed. I have not earned any from bounty from 2019- till. You can venture back into the campaign as there are many good projects that await you.

There are still some good bounties from which you can earn some money. For example, participants from JuicyFields Bounty earned 700-1500 USD. Participants from DIA Bounty earned 200-1000 USD.  Also participants from YOUengine have earned good amount of money.

There are some good bounty managers nowadays.  Such as Hhumpuz, bubbalex, BountyDetective, Small rabbit etc.

I still getting low rewards from the bounties that I joined in the past, seems I'm not lucky picking a good bounties. I can't remember which bounty that I received high reward from 2019 - 2020 but still low for me. Well at least that I earned some money than nothing. About the good BM maybe bounty detectives? because seems this group is popular.

There is an idiom which says "Try and try one day you can fly". The problem which I see in most of the bounty hunters and air-droppers is that they give up after trying for a long time just prior to achieve some success in their cause. If we do so, the all the effort we have taken would be in vain without getting any gain. We need to keep doing it and one day we will surely get benefited. 

hmm..I don't care too much about bounty, you'll never get a lot of money from it this year. There is little bounty success and too many people involved, I tried to join one on bounty this year but it didn't work as well as expected.

Well, I can say that I was kinda lucky cus I quit bounty since 2018 cus of the same reasons the op said, come 2020, after the lock down resulting from the Corona virus pandemic, things became very hard for me and my family, I lost my job, my wife business was no longer doing well, I had to look for ways to earn some money while searching for another job, I got back into bounty hunting again in August this year and by God's special grace, on October, the first bounty I participated in ended and I made about $3630 from that project, it's really by God's grace.

It's hard to see good payments bounties this days especially when you have a low rank member account but I was able to rank up and earn in TON signature campaign. The first week, I earned 100$,the rules was changed that the rest of the payment will be after work. I was paid the remaining coins and I was able to earned $250.
I am currently promoting STOBOX project, I hope to receive good pay by the end of this month hopefully.
If you want to earn in bitcointalk, rank up and participate on signature campaign. Social media campaigns has been a waste of time and probably end up as a scam.

if I calculate all the income that I get during 2019 -2020 maybe around $800- $1000, that does not include the project that I am currently participating in and also the profits I get when trading, in trading on the market I use payment money what I get while participating in a bounty project on the forum so that I don't spend any money from my personal pocket, because the money I get from real work or work outside the forum I usually save for sudden and very urgent needs, in a pandemic like now of course we must be smart in managing finances so that the family economy can be maintained and stable.

I can't calculate now but i earn some dollars like during year 2019-2020. Basically this time very hard for take a good payment bounty so future move just unknown. OKs, dego, dia, YOUC bounty was successful and i earn some money there. Actually at this time if a hunter can earn 200$ something from bounty then it's really a comfortable moment.

2019 - 2020? in that year I was completely off in joining the bounty,
and only in Q4 I followed it because I saw a good bounty program,
because 2019 was a good year in trading and I earned $ 1000.

I am really focused on next year, hopefully there will be a good bounty next year,
we know 2019-2020 is not a good time for bounties because there are many scam projects,
and hope that 2021 will be the year of bounty .

If I'm to count all the bounty I did within those period. I should have earn close $5,000. But when you look at the numbers of projects these days. Only few has something good to offer. From the ratio of 2:10. Out of every project. But the few once that I have made. Within those two years, I made something around $2,500 dollars which was a reasonable amount. Hunting bounty isn't a easy take though. But we are getting bye everyday.
