How much you earn in bounty hunting for the year 2019-2020

Around 50$ is what I got this year, I joined a lot of bounty in 2020 but no bounty really succeeded. Some bounty have big budget but in the end the price collapsed many times and made me get only a few cents from it.

That sad part being of being a  bounty hunter, you seen a good decent amount of allocated budget using the part of
coin that developers created, once that the bounty ended the amount of chance that you'll be getting decent value in  fiat is slim, like what you have said, the chance that the coin will completely being dumped after its being added to exchange or the developers will forget
about listing and runaway with the fund that they've collected.

I was worked as a bounty hunter last 2 years and i make a good amount of money through it. Though i also faced same issue of losing many of bounty campaign fake and they didn't paid lots of just paid few penny that is not value for my work as i did. But now a days i only work for those bounties who actually have value for money. It's not in a day just a result of my last 2 years experience. Hope you will be ensure this if you research well. this year i didn't receive any bounty rewards because i've participated a lot of  fraud campaigns but before i have rewarded with better bounty rewards.

Let us talk straight. In this trying times some were coming back here in the forum knowing they could get hope to join in bounty hunting and to earn tokens by which then converted to btc then fiat. I know of this because I myself was a bounty hunter before and doing odd stuffs and then I quit due to the fact that many projects do failed or they did not pay and make a good exchange for their tokens rewarded.

Since I have been long gone into bounty hunting(earning tokens) I want to know if bounty hunting promoting an ICO project still earning. How much was the highest paid to you from bounty projects? (for the year 2019-2020 projects only.)

The best year that I am doing bounties is on 2017, but it was on the 4th quarter. If I knew bounty campaigns in early 2017, I would have pocketed a lot of it. On 2018 where Bitcoin had its greatest crash from almost $20k to $3k, I am just lucky enough to cash out some bounties when they were still having good value, plus being a development team member in various projects.

2019 bounties were not much, but few ones got lucky. I was relying on some of the bounty tokens I #HODL since 2018 where they still maintained value, which I could afford traveling a lot overseas.

As for 2020? We'll, I don't know. Although that I am still joining some for extra money during the pandemic, it's way better than nothing at all. Plus, DeFi projects with bounty are something that I am keeping an eye on.

after waiting for a very long time, why did it all happen. joined the old campaign and then had to wait for the distribution which was also long but did not produce any results. it's very bad because the current situation isn't much to be the money from the bounty campaign. some do fast distribution but are not listed at all.

That is really the burden of bounty hunters when it comes to ICOs and Bounty campaigns. That is why bounty hunters either stopped or moved on to bitcoin or ETH based bounties. 80$ is a good value already but it seems like that it is even a luck getting a reward of 80 $ with so many bounty campaigns are scam. Almost all of it so this is why If I were all other bounty hunters new to this kind of activity can consult here to other senior users that could attest that bounty hunting is just a waste of time and resources finding for 80$ reward that is even almost close to impossible to achieve. Bounty campaigns really not worth it excepy for those who pay real crypto like btc and eth. It may be a cent but the important thing is not abouy earning it is about learning and not wasting time and resources.

Since the beginning of 2020 until now, I have only received more than $ 40 from the campaigns I participated in, most of the campaigns have failed or become scams. Some were successful and listed at exchanges, but until the end they delayed distribution and made me extremely disappointed.

It sure is! This year, the market has been strongly affected by the global pandemic. Because of that, not many projects are started and offer bounty campaigns. However, I believe that the market is recovering and there will be more bounty campaigns later this year. I recently joined some of them and I believe that it will not as bad as the beginning.
