$ETH Good Point for Long!

ETH has held above the Broken Horizontal Resistance, + we have a Falling Wedge pattern. If the Falling Wedge broken upward we consider a long position📈.

I feel this year we can see ethereum back at $1200 because more and more people join DeFi projects and that's why I think it will be a bullrun . But as we know every investment has their own risks

Once every investors will cashout when the defi hype over at that time the value get another big hit like what happened in 2018, but for now this is going for a long bullish trend so just want for the exit moment if you are not a long term investor.

I have been keeping an eye on ETH since it started trending upwards back in june abd from what I've seen, it's just getting started. The real growth will come either before their 2.0 official launch later this year.  Yesterday and today, I had the opportunity to get good long entries thanks to Bitcoin's latest dips around the $12K price level, I will be holding my ETH bang for the long term now as we approach the launch period.

Eth is really a solid platform, so its increase in price is not surprising. And since just like other alts, eth follows the trend of bitcoin in the market, we are expecting that eth will increase when btc increases. And with the upcoming ETH 2.0, people are looking forward to that big development, and we may be seeing a good price increase of eth.

Also, I appreciate the OP's speculation charts, been seeing a lot of his chart analyses lately.  ;) I guess he is also active in trading and applying what he's been probing.

Currently, Ethereum's position is very strong. So it's normal for a lot of predictions to say Ethereum is in a good trend. but keep in mind a few days ago I read there was a little problem on the testnet, they found some very crucial bugs that can affect the network. if this news is true, it may disrupt the existing agenda, and may delay the mainnet longer. the impact will influence the current trend.

Bitcoin has fallen a bit from 12200 to 11700$ and due to which many altcoins have also started to fall. ETH is now at 400$ and should if further btc price falls then we may see some more fall happening in other coins as well. But should not be a real worry as sooner it will again be at 12k levels or above that and so will be ETH. It is time to just buy if possible, at this level.

That needs more time and it can be reached next year. I totally disagree about that consider all of updates will have done next year. In my opinion if ethereum will be facing another correction before it will be going to the moon again asap.

Aaaaand when people like you post about going up, it goes down heheh,,,, but I think this was caused more by Bitcoin's flash crash so I think everything will recover again when Bitcoin goes back above $12k.

as one of the ETH community, I firmly believe ETH is worth holding onto for the long term. although recently ETH has been shocked by the problem of expensive GAS fees, I am sure that this will not cause any problems for ETH's future development. all communities are waiting for ETH v2.0, hope this is good news for all holders.

$ETH Long Setup Remains Valid

Despite we have the BTC dropped locally, ETH has held the Horizontal Support on 35035 sats and can provide an upward retracement just as we planned.

The 0.035 btc price will act now as strong horizontal support for now.
As you can see last August 3-4, the level was tested there, but after a week, it was broken and now it is acting as support.
Ascending pattern is really good continuation pattern. But if you will check the higher timeframe, and look the RSI, it's kinda oversold for now.

true, several times ethereum can move on its own not because it is bitcoin, where when bitcoin goes down, ethereum goes up and is well. Ethereum ecosystem is by far the best in the crypto market and most of the new projects make use of the coin's foundation. I think the high gas is due to too many traders and most of these transactions can be seen at Uniswap. I think opposite. $1200 seems far, far away. Current price need to increase 3 times and we still havent face any correction and all we do are just growing. 4 months will fly in seconds. 1000$ for this year end does not looks to me. Agree. Even $1000 looks something unreachable for Ethereum. I would be glad if Ethereum price might get to $500 by the end of the year. DeFi is not a locomotion with unlimited amount of fuel. It cant push the price up all the time. How long has it been in trends? For half a year? Soon government or other instance would try to take a piece of that pie and will create a new law or some kind of limitation for DeFi. What will be the next Ethereum price pusher? Bitcoin and market as usually? But they are unstable. Expect a period of  "x-mas and NY price drop due to withdrawal for presents" to start.

looking at the ethereum chart it looks like we will see real prices from ethereum, so I think eth will remain strong and eth will remain in the ideal trend pump path this year.

I think its price will go up even more and we'd better do margin trading while holding it. Defi is sure to maintain the uptrend until the end of the year and I believe the chances of you making a profit from these projects are enormous.    Chip1994 the price of Ethereum will go higher, but road to higher prices is never
a straight line. Before we really see some higher prices I assume we will have many

Have you seen it reaching that price? lol though it is still too far for the year to end I'm very positive that ethereum will reach a higher price than $500 because most of the DeFi projects today are running under ethereum blockchain and that is why we are seeing a high transaction fee these days in ethereum network. Bitcoin and ethereum is looking good though they got a little bit dump this week, we still have a plenty of days to expect a pump. As the moment, altcoins are growing incredibly I've seen some coins climbing the ranking ladder which I guess is good and healthy for the market, it is not only a bitcoin game for all of us.

What will pump ETH this year again are Defi, which is already happening. I tried to imagine the gap between ETH and other altcoins, the margin of growth is such so wide and shows clearly that the rate at which ETH is going to take off will be quite alarm in.

As a well known and potential coin, ethereum is rising quickly and it will be increasing continuously. Most of the coins are on erc20 based and hence ethereum is more important. Hopefully we will be able to see ethereum in a good place.

The price of ETH will increase even more strongly in the future due to a technological upgrade in their network. To me, technical analysis is also good but it is not so important for all the holders. I am a long term investor like not a trader, and I have analysis of the future economic situation and everything will be great in 2021 for the financial markets. we should invest now.

I wont be surprise if ETH clinch the $600 before the end of this year due to the level of support and confidence crypto communities have for it but concern the current dump in price to just be market correction, I somehow believe youre jumping into conclusion without proper examine cause the whales seems to lay low now and the arbitrage traders are the major player as we speak. Although, this is not last long but atleast what we're seeing now is not about market correction.

You need to analyze and assess your next position, as of this moment the price still experiencing downfall.There's a good opportunities
to buy if you believe that value will bounce back and if you are aiming for  long term. While if you are going to scalp make sure to have a proper stop loss position. It will avoid more losses in case this sideways continue bringing the price down.

I don't see how this is related to a potential increase in the price, without a doubt such an improvement is always welcome and the reduced fees are a good news for anyone that is trading but that is all there is to it, for the price of ethereum to keep going up when it is already so high we will need a lot more than that and I have my doubts that will happen, I just hope that if we see a decrease in the price it is a slow one because if we see a crash I have no doubt that many of those that are using leverage trying to earn a fortune with ethereum will go bankrupt.

Indeed. I never expected that there were altcoins that will explode recently, I don't if I am just too focused on bitcoin and ethereum that I did not noticed them skyrocketing, I'm late to ride some of them coz I'm busy speculating these two, too bad for me. I made roughly x2 on ETH, I pulled it out when it reached $400, it was a great decision though coz it falls under around $360. So far so good as I monitor the market closely.

What I don't like about this whole thing with recent projects is that they run on ETH network which made the ETH blockchain slower than it is, so maybe people will look for another coin when transferring funds aside from bitcoin.

You cannot blame everything on bitcoin when the market starts a minor correction, we saw a rapid rise in the price on the entire market and it might be because of the DeFi hype and the entire market started moving up and Ethereum was the biggest gainer along with some of the other alts and when we see a rapid movement then you should expect a correction.

That's too much for me, not this year even that's the most anticipated event is to have a new ATH of Ethereum.

That's quite optimistic prediction but the fact that is not relialistic one. Considering Ethereum has a potential and those defi projects has bring a lot of good impact to the Ethereum price even though there is no fix total supply on it.

All in all, the price of all altcoins was always matter to the bitcoin price. Give higher percertage on it upon your investment and hodl.

For everything to make sense the developers needs to successfully roll out the updates they are promising as the transaction charges on ETH are really high and people will find similar alternatives if it continue like this.  I do believe that ethereum price will definitely go back up once we are done with 2020 and finally get to see the phase 1 of the new update, however people here are a bit more excited about it than I feel about it. I mean yes I do agree that there is a chance eth could go above 500 dollars for the first time in a long time, we literally dropped as further down as 80 dollars at one point from all the way up at 1500 dollars, thats a 1420 dollar fall and I would really not expect that from eth, probably some smaller altcoins but not eth.

I have a reason to believe you're not following the Bitcoin market momentum because it still in good standing condition if not it will barely survive the previous dump in price that happens but the major drawback for the ETH market was the 2.0 and epoch which was not successfully executed. However, it affected ETH's price cause 95% of every ETH investors build their hope on 2.0.

ETH investment is very promising if it is used as a long-term investment, because many new investors are very interested in investing in ETH in large amounts, so don't wait long if you want to invest in ETH

At this point in time i think defi market now making big hype because the ICO of many projects in 2017 created such a hype where investors had to count the losses towards 2018. At the moment defi projects are creating such similarities and it is difficult to say what the future might hol. However, many investors have made sure to return to the defi project because they are confident that almost all defi projects will be the best this year.

Well, that's a pretty incredible price for this early September. however, I still have the feeling that Ethereum price could even get close to $ 480 this month. Even though the price has dropped from its price of $ 477, however, currently Ethereum prices are still close to that range. ethereum still has enormous potential.

From the last couple of week I didn't see much movement in the price of eth but its momentum looks in a positive way which indicates the it may take decent growth and I am also expecting something like that hopefully we may see some positive growth of eth before the end of this year.

Yes it shows no major movements for the last couple of weeks, but still good in terms of value the current rate still showed good support.
For those who are willing to take the risk and hoping to store more coins while the staking feature still upcoming, it's the best time to collect and hold your coin now.
Better to be positive in each time you invest your money, we never know what future may bring but we always have the access in terms of proper research and better anticipations.

Although there is no significant movement from Ethereum, but as long as Ethereum is still above the support price.
I think there is still a possibility that in the near future Ethereum will rise in price. For those who dare to take risks,

Its is a good buying opportunity seeing ETH near on its support level must you must also be ready for the possibility that it can go lower than that if the market turns into another bearish trend. We are waiting for the ETH 2.0 and hoping for some issues to be address on the update especially the recent spike on the transaction fees. ETH is the best atlcoin but it will always go down and up, just like the other coins and bitcoin.

It is a really long wait to see the upgrade and whether it will address everything is to be seen, do you identity a coins being best because of their price valuation and if that is the case there are several coins you can add in that category and ETH is certainly one of the top volatile coin.

As i was observed last couple of week upon checking on the blockfolio ETH has no major movements on its market value but then having a $480 value is somewhat not somethibg to worry about. For me it is still in good terms and somewhat good to be hodl too i bet even in long term. But if ever the chart that was posted was true this was a good indication and hoping for a brighter future ahead of ETH.

There is more possible to happen to the ethereum but the high chances to rise is really possible because we are in the bullish market.

It's good to see the ether the chart is more rising but don't expect too much to this coin because not all the time it rises because they have time it down the value if a holder of it panic selling that can cause for the market to bear again.

Investors and even hodlers are already used to it seeing if bitcoin price isn't pumping, ethereum and some other altcoins are also expected to see their prices in bearish. But the fact that bitcoin is too much volatile, it's price will surely go up again affecting also the movement of altcoins in the market. I am not so sure about this, obviously ETH is one of the best coins in the market but the most recent growth we saw during the previous months was not really because people were interested in ETH at all and it was because people were interested in the DeFi market and they needed to get some ETH for the fees, even then the growth was impressive but as the interest in the DeFi market goes down and it is replaced by disappointment it is likely the price of ethereum will not grow much during the next months.

I figure it will be exceptionally hard to return up and perhaps $ 300 is the objective of ETH. Up until this point, ETH is steady at $ 390 and if bitcoin siphons up, ETH will go up before long. Ethereum 2.0, with the chance of marking ETH proprietors, in the event that we don't consider bitcoin, Ethereum is the best interest in the digital currency market and the cost will increment regardless.

Undoubtedly for ethereum because it has a good future, ethereum is a big project so it is not surprising if you analyze it and get the results. Projects running on ETH blockchain indeed boost ETH market but I do not think that investors will stop buying ETH because some of those projects are scams.  Remember, those legit and successful projects that run on ETH blockchain still need ETH for the gas so the demand for ETH. 

The high demand by investors will add more power for buyers to attack the bears and the price can retouch $450 soon. The crypto market is in a mini bull trend and the permanent bull market is possible too, until the end of the year. Priority is still ETH compared to alternative blockchains and ETH2.0 is still not fully developed, considering this the price will climb higher points.

I think ETH is a good long term hold and have been accumulating for the past year as I believe we'll see ETH continue to grow as DeFi continues to grow. I believe we haven't seen anything yet and that its just getting started. Give it another year and into 2022 which is when I think ETH will be breaking its ATH's. Just look at how many new projects are coming onto the Ethereum blockchain and I think this will continue on into the future.

You are right about that, in my humble opinion, ETH is the best choice for long term investing, on the other hand, if you are short term investor ETH is not a good choice for you. No doubt ETH will continue to grow, it is not hard to see that. However, if we are talking about ATH of ETH, most people think that ETH will reach more than 800-900$, but it is really hard to say something about that so early. ETH is around 350-400$ and no exaggeration to say that ETH can not reach more than 400$.

Holding ETH long term is the best option right now as I suspect we'll see a lot more new projects come onto the Ethereum blockchain and with the way DeFi is going I can see this going a lot higher in the future. Yes we all know the issues with gas fees etc... and Ethereum 2.0 is still going to be years off but there are projects on the Ethereum network that can help in the short to mid term to solve some of these issues like OMG network. I'm not one to hype things up but there is a lot of potential for ETH to reach $1k+ in the next 1 to 2 years and then go on to break its ATH.

With the current hype it is possible that it could reach those valuation but the gas fees are really high that could sway the causal investors away from it and as long as the hype is making them money they will be using it. The developers have missed the date for the upgrade many times and we do not have a date when they will implement the Phase 0 .

Yes gas gees are big deal for small time investors, and can affect their profit, thats the current problem of users.

Anyways despite of the delay for the upgrade, we can see that price is not getting lower unlike before. Its a good thing already and im expecting the price will hit $500 by the end of this year or early next year.

Investors are always blind to these happenings for sure,,, but they mainly know that these are hype bubbles so they buy during the dip which I guess is where we were last week around $335,,, the current buying demand is from speculators who still want to play in Defi markets (they need gas for paying smart contract fees that is all).

ETH against USD should continue to grow with the imminent arrival of 2.0, and the continued DeFi fever.
ETH against BTC is of course different - but even then I would expect ETH to grow, it's only around 25% of its ATH whereas BTC is over 50%... so history does suggest that ETH has plenty of room to move.

I spend in Bitcoin mainly not in Ether but even when forced to, I just select min fees possible but it still hurts to use smart contracts where you have no choice but to spend a high amount of fees because they eat up so much gas. Totally failed concept for regular users.

The market is going up once again and ETH is close to the 400 dollar level, it is interesting to see what will happen from now on, I say this because the tendency during the last weeks has been a slow but steady decrease on the volume, and the volume we are seeing at the time does not seem like it is enough to make this a continued growth, if anything it may seem as if we could see a retracement at any moment during this or the next week if the interest on ethereum remains this low.

Yes you may be right however over the long term say in 1 to 2 years from now is when I think we'll see ETH true potential as the DeFi space continues to grow and more new projects come onto the Ethereum network. This is something I don't see slowing down which is why I do believe in ETH for the long term. The second wave of ETH started recently after the DeFi hype and there were huge investments coming in and i am not sure how long this will last, we already saw a major correction in the DeFi market. It is no secret to anyone that the Ethereum 2.0 update will greatly affect not only Ethereum pricing, but the entire cryptocurrency market. I think that there is not much time left for users to wait until this event, since the lead developer of the project Evan Van Ness stated that the bill before the launch of ETH 2.0 goes for weeks. The zinken testnet already launched and the transition to phase zero of the Ethereum 2.0 mainnet. Zinken is just a dress rehearsal for the genesis of the ETH2.0 block, which was quite successful. I believe that scalability and cheaper transactions on the network will also affect the level of trust in Ethereum. The genuine development will come either before their 2.0 authority dispatch in the not so distant future. Let's not forget that we are living in a world right now where ETH could be used for so many things, which should be adding fuel to the fire to make ETH a lot more valuable. The fact is if you own ETH right now, you can do so much with it, and people are doing it, they use their ETH and when people use their ETH that means they need to first buy ETH and when there is a reason to buy a coin that means the price will go up.

Ethereums biggest year to date increase happened during this defi things picked up some pace. At first of january on new years it was 130 dollars but around valentine's day it already doubled its profit and reached to 260 dollars, it didn't take long to reach there like it has been stable a bit for the recent while. However after that the next big increase came at around July which is the month where all the defi, dex and many other stuff like that got super exciting and everyone got involved.

This whole summer has been the summer of decentralized projects which almost all of them used ethereum and this is why there was a lot of eth buying and price increasing which made it close to 400 dollars during that period. Obviously it went down since but we are not once again above 400 as expected.

$500 is piece of cake. it's hot topic right now about eth 2.0, staking and many things going around in twitter so many people pumped up and can't wait to see this rare event. Im not sure about this, people will not easily change their opinion about that. Afaik if this time the result of ethereum that has been depositing into the deposit contract is really small compared what already expected by so many holders or speculators. That means the performance of ethereum 2.0 is not so good as it can't attract people to join to be validators in ethereum 2.0 network.
The locked period has been making them all feel so bad about that.

The time-frame has changed since a few days ago. 129K ETH (out of the 544K required) was deposited in the past two days. 2.0 is back on schedule for December now.

There's MA support building up nicely on the Daily time-frame as well, whether price will return there is yet to be seen. I think it's likely traders front-run this support at the 0.5 fib retracement, rather than wait for the 0.382 where support lines up nicely. Either way, the confluence of support on the 4hr and Daily is promising in the near term. Long-term, we are still in a massive bull-flag, bouncing from support.

it could achieved this year if momentum still kept. ethereum have strong fundamental and demand to support its movement if compared than other platform. hype will always coming and it used to attract new investors coming to any project or coin and it always happen . but for ethereum its different , investors look it as a gem not again as pump and dump coin.

The good thing is that Ethereum is holding strong at $500 so we could see support at this price range which will be good heading into the next leg up. This could also have a huge affect on Alts as ETH is the main driver for Altscoins. I picked up a little more Ethereum with this dip.

I really hope this comes back quick is been a crazy day and many people panic sale so not to lose money But by doing that people just plunge prices left and right I really hope this doesnt continue because right now people are just carefully watching the market

On the Daily chart, ETH is looking great against BTC at the moment. Finding support for the 4th day now from the 50 Day MA as well as the 0.5 fib retracement after bouncing from the 200 Day MA and VPVR point of control (POC):

It didn't continue. The price has recovered and just as what you're wishing for, it didn't have a continuous plummet. You expect a lot of people to dump their ETH  or any other altcoin that they hold if they are not confidently seeing a plunge.
That's the usual reaction of a holder that isn't used to this situation.

In the last few days the price of ETH crypto assets has turned green in the market again and in the last 24 hours ETH has strengthened by around 7.0% with its unit price equivalent to $539.24 of course this is a sign that eth price resistance is likely to be passed in the next few days, especially Currently, many large companies have started staking ETH into Ethereum 2.0 deposit contracts, of course the impact of Ethereum 2.0 will greatly affect the boost in ETH prices that will occur in the market, as one of the biggest altcoins, of course ETH will not experience a price collapse for a long time

I don't expect Eth holders to dump their Eth sooner. Mainly because of two reasons:
1) Eth proves stability by the resistence against btc drop during the last few days. It would keep reaching more ATH but don't expect it to reach the 1400$ like back in 2017.
2) People staking Eth are surely waiting for the release of Eth 2.0. Someone above confirmed that people start staking their Eth in Eth 2.0 deposit contract.

The market is gradually recovering from the dump state but the uptrend is still not certain cause the market is still going sideways as SlimShadyMmp said and in a situation like this even holders/traders that use to this situation can sell in other to stop loss and be prepared for whatever may occur. However, by looking at the ETH the current momentum seems to correlate with July/August market.

That made me look at that month as you've said. But as we're approaching on December. An uptrend is expected to come and most ETH holders are aware of that event that's coming soon.

Except for Bitcoin. The altcoins that interest me the most is that ETH.ETH is rising again and its potential is huge. I feel that ETH is too popular in the crypto market. By 2021 ETH will probably rise again and reach over $1,300 as Bitcoin establishes new prices.

Yes, uptrend is expected in every December market but that doesnt mean some slightly correction wont happen towards the holidays and I expected ETH to experience ridiculous demand from now on cause exchange like Kucoin have already launch the embrace ETH 2.0 coin margined contract with the share of 50,000 USDT prize and expect more exchange site to perform the samething.

I have never had any doubts about ETH, even though at some point it was very low. ETH is above $603 at the moment which is very glad for the market crypto and I believe it will continue to rise. I consider the price of ETH to be 1300 $ as 2017.

I agree that there will be corrections on its way but that could be just some slips and not that much. Thanks to these exchanges that are also participating in the upcoming launch of 2.0.
They sure contribute to the demand of Ethereum and just as bitcoin is soaring, ETH's flying too.

don't have any doubts about ETH from 2017 to date ETH but it can provide a significant price increase, and ETH development is also good. The market value of ETH also currently still has popularity in crypto, so it's a good choice if you choose ETH

I consider most coins to be "real value" at their 2017 ATH only now, 3 years after it passed. It would not have been worth that much during the actual ATH but you have to admit now many of them are reaching the utility they should have had then. Bitcoin and ETH especially, now with Layer 2 and many companies now accepting both. LTC, XMR are the others I can say in the same breath.

We must not forget besides Bitcoin Ethereum is one of the coin that has dominance listed in Coinmarketcap Dominance:
BTC 61.6% ETH 11.7% Coinmarketcap listed it because they know that the dominance will further increase in the future once the 2.0 is already roll up, there's a lot fo great things coming on Ethereum in terms of price update and adoption and the worst thing is you do not have enough of it.

It’s definitely happening as Institutional money is arriving amazingly. Another thing to remember from 2017 was btc went up and alts exploded up a short time later. So alts will all have their chance to make history at the point people swap to altcoins and ride them up.

As of now, Ethereum's position is exceptionally solid. Well we have been seeing this recently with ETH as it continues to be a strong crypto even after a mini dump which we saw 3 weeks ago and again recently but the price has always rebounded back up to around $600 which is a good sign as Bitcoin has been doing the same. I continue to buy the dips as I think next year will be the year for crypto.

This meant that I sold a bit of BTC around $23.1K which I can't complain about :) Can't resist a tasty 30% dip either.

The chart clearly shows us the uptrend and it is so strong at the moment .The price is around 640$ i think it will son over 700$ .I think we can see a new ATH level on upcoming year .The market is on very good momentum to the up hope it will continue and break all the level .

I have been watching out for ETH since it began moving upwards back in June and from what I've seen, it's simply beginning. The genuine development will come either before their 2.0 authority dispatch not long from now. Recently and today, I had the occasion to get great long passages because of Bitcoin's most recent plunges around the $12K value level, I will hold my ETH blast for the drawn-out now as we approach the dispatch time frame.

Ethereum 2.0 has created big expectation. The price that reached above $650 days back have once again fallen low. Right now the market is super bullish for bitcoin. More funds are getting moved from altcoins towards bitcoin. This seems to be the reason for the drop in the price of most of the altcoins. Possibly this time the growth of ethereum will take place separately, which means same as that we experience with bitcoin at the moment.

why be sad when the drop is only a few . the graph was posted on the month of august and highest ath of eth that month was only valued at 400'ish smth but by the time that we hit the month of december the price already get out of the 400'ish comfy zone of eth but its highest by this month was at 670'ish something but you arent alone for the dissapointment of eth 2.0 , i was also expecting more for the new version but until now i cant still feel its real effects but lets see next year if the changes that we are looking for are going to take effect

Bitcoin is kinda bullish right now, which lead rest of coins going higher, since alt session yet not start. We may experience more dip in the upcoming days every time Bitcoin experience downtrend. If BTC rally continues ETH could test resistance another time and could hit $700 as I believe ETH will approach it's all-time-high.

Eth is dumping recently but it was expected due to long holoday season and other factors like covid new wave and correction that was due but im hopeful that from january new year eth will resume its uptrend and i hope it willcross 1k mark in january.

Bitcoin has been bullish this month, and we are not seeing some signs of correction yet so the rocket will continue to go up.
ETH will rise as bitcoin is rising, I'm not sure but I think bitcoin already at a new ATH now as it's closing to $25k soon.

Wow, this is amazing, I didn't expect to be this kind of bullish, and this is one of the reason why altcoins are just having a little growth due to people's attention is on bitcoin.

Ethereum is performing better than all the other altcoins in the market, besides Bitcoin, it is the second in terms of dominance in the market, we should not only look at the price but it's dominance in the market as well and of course, on its development, I don't see Ethereum getting eclipse by any altcoins in the market.

The only coin that I've seen it go in par and replaced it in a quick manner with its dominance and market cap and, ranking is XRP. But that's no longer valid because know what XRP is with today. Ethereum will be on that position for a long time, it is unlikely to be replaced there.
ETH will rise with bitcoin but it's difficult to break $700. We're longing to see it happen very soon but Ethereum looks going to stay there for long. We're not yet in the altcoin season yet ETH is also having its major support with a price of 4570.

I think 2021 will be Ethereums break out year and then heading into 2022. I agree Ethereum is having a hard time trying to break the $700 barrier but once it does we could see it explode quickly up to 1k. Time will tell but I think right now Ethereum is one of the safest cryptocurrencies to hold and accumulate for the future.

ETH is still away from 1k by 400$ so there so much scope for ETH to continue to rise. It is not even close to its ATH so can expect some bull run to continue in ETH to be near that price range. Do expect good returns in 2021 as well with ETH.

It's expected it's the second most popular coin in the market and the leading innovator of the smart contract, the original is always the best and always get the support, the price movement looks slow, but it will eventually break it's old all time high, I expect the price to be broken on the first quarter of the year.

If there are any serious successes in the development of ETH2, then reaching the level of $ 1000 is quite likely already in 2021. As for the higher levels, their prospects are doubtful - the emission of the ETH is too large and at higher price levels its capitalization will become unjustifiably high. Yes I agree with most about the gas fees maybe holding Ethereum back from going a lot higher but the same could be said for Bitcoin when it comes to fees and it continues to go higher. I know they are different but more projects are coming onto the Ethereum network and I can only see this continuing in the future unless something drastic happens and some other project is able to capture Ethereums market share but right now I can't see this happening.

Does the fact they have no control over what uses their network worry you? remember the stupid cats thing? it cripples the network. What about the tether tokens built on Eth. There is a lot at stake here.

The market is bullish in just a short period of time, and look what we have achieved now, so I don't think that 2021 will be all bullish, there are times that the market will fall and some panic will happen, that's normal, people panic buy and sell.

To be honest, I don't really understand what kind of problem with commissions you are talking about. ETH has an effective transaction price and it is better than most projects (and better than bitcoin). After the transition to ETH2, this problem will "fall in price" even more. At the moment, this is a distant prospect, but even in its current configuration, the ETH is an excellent means of payment and execution of smart contracts.
