There is so much fear in the crypto market right now. Taking a look at coinmarketcap now, it's scary to see how much of a dump we have now. Everyone complaining in different groups of loosing a lot of their portfolio to the dump.
I feel your pain. Trust me, it will not last long, everything will be over soon and we shall all smile again. Just hold Strong. We might just be able to smile sooner than expected. Nothing to panic over based on history of crypto. History will surely repeat itself.

you're right, we need to hold strong,but, its depends on what kind of coins in our wallet buddy, if we hold any kind of shitcoins, i think we need to sell it as soon as possible, but if we hold the right alt such as ethereum, we must hold it  ;)

It's their choice to invest and will to choose which coin they have to invest. If they are complaining that their portfolio is dumping, it's possible that this is the first time that they have invested in cryptocurrencies. But on this experience, this will teach them to be patient and it wouldn't be that long as the market will start to recover and those losses that they've seen as they look at the value of their portfolio will eventually be retained.

Hold strong without a reason.

More like a dumb, please always keep in mids always holding, buying or selling with some reason. Almost every people try to transaction without any reason hoping their token/coin up just by a "HOPE" but the market doesn't act like that's. Everyone should have the reason to hold, buy or selling and after that's determined how many % lose you can take not only your profit.

I didn't feel that fear, been seeing a lots of pump and dump in the market for years of investing with bitcoin, so I must say I'm already matured now and have already get used to this kind of scenario, come on, this is just normal.

Believed in ETH for several years now, if you jump away because of the -20% dump, then you don't deserve the XXXX% pump upcoming.. Pandemic has really made the economy suffer, and people are finding ways to take profits in any way they can.

Beside holding strong is a good one but which coin are we holding tight, there's is a  major reason for holding a certain coin, can you think I can hodl a dumped DeFi coin for a long time?, I will end up losing, holding has to do with potentially, how promising, usability of that coin to be eligible for holding. Example, I prefer to hodl Cosmos ATOM than YFY for a longer time., I don't know if I'm correct.
Historically, market comeback is a sure one that has repeated itself many times, its just matters time and investor patient skills to wait for green markets.

Thanks for your motivation post to us. Actually, these little corrections bother big investors. As far as Bitcoin halving correction time isn't over, we don't need to worry about the price. I know history will repeat, but I'm worrying about scam projects. Scam projects can't fight against the bear market. I know my favorite project won't let me down in this little dump cryptocurrency situation.

It looks like so many of them are the newcomers in the cryptocurrency. If there will some people who are still complaining about the decrease of the value that happened in their assets and they must not try again to invest in the crypto before they can try to deal with the risk of speculation market that can make their portfolios up and go down anytime.

The uncertainty is brought by too many "DeFi" projects which turned into DeFi just for the hype. Though there are also legit DeFi projects which can be considered sustainable in the long run, these are the projects that were not affected that much by the bloodbath. New projects are more speculative, there'sno basis for future movements.

If you lack patience in the crypto space, you might become a victim of FUD.

It has been proven already, this is not the nature of crypto, and soon it will be over. I'm seeing some positive gains already, so at least the declined has stop a bit and smart investors are now filling their wallets again. More of a cycle though, but this time, history will be different in terms of all time highs.

Well its not surprising to see a disappointed reaction for some investors who think the market will stay in uptrend status, thats not how it used to be.

Not everyone are capable to hold strong, some will find the chance to cut loss, some had to do a panic sell. The clever ones have their own ways to minimized their losses. It's a crypto thing for when there's bloody red days, there will be green, but the question is when will it recover. So, choose your decision wisely.

Well, market corrections are normal and only those who are new will panic. Instead of panic selling enjoy the current price and buy cheaper. Either way, each investor and traders have their own choice to make, it is either they cut their losses or buy more when the market falls.

Everyone knows that investing in Crypto is very risky. We are required to be able to undertake all possibilities when we have decided to invest/buy a token, of course, everything has been done with consideration, analysis, and research that has been done before. My advice is not to just hold the token without taking action as I mentioned earlier.

They should fear if they don't choose the right coin, and to find the right coin, they need to analyze which will need time to find the coins. The pump and dump will always happen, and we don't have to complain about that because if we can prepare for the dump, we will not worry and we can be ready to buy more at a low price.

Just holding without having more information about the coins will not give us a chance to hold for a long time because of the bear market because we can be panic to see the price fluctuate. So if you can get more information about the coin before you hold, you will not be a problem to hold, even you already wait for a long time to see the price increase again.

But you know what, I am actually upset on what's happening right now, not only because of the dumping season but the overall performance of the market as the -ber month started. I believe that by the time the decline occurred, many people had already sold their assets. well, we know that the market is really red, even the price developments we are waiting for are really changing so fast. it's just that, I will still hold the assets that I have. even though I have sold some assets, however, I feel that the price of bitcoin will go up again and bring the altcoin price back up.

What is happening in the market today is normal for those with previous experience and for people who have been here for a long time, unlike new people or newbies who always make mistakes due to panic and all because of not having previous experience and knowledge.

The biggest problem is that many people are moved by emotions, it is enough for some people to say that altcoin X goes to the moon that other people believe and start to buy altcoin X a lot and this has happened very often and when we have an dump like this dump that we are seeing the panic gets much bigger and certain analysts also contribute a lot for scenarios like this to be frequent because these certain analysts are making exaggerated price forecasts and there are people who buy bitcoin believing in these exaggerated price forecasts and when the expectation is broken people also sell their bitcoin because they don’t have the patience to wait long to see big price increases.

while we are still in the bullish season, I am not worried about bearish yet,
as long as the Bitcoin price is still above $ 9500 I will always hold!

There is always right to hold coins/token for a long time will definitely gives a good profit and now the thing is like that as the hole market in a dump position, We should hold our coins/tokens till the right time comes and the crypto market will start recovering itself.

There are a lot of people in my facebook group that complain or maybe show their assets while dump like this. I think it is very common because there are more people who involved in crypto especially newcomers who maybe confused or maybe just show what they feel when price dumped like this.

After the steady upward trend in the last months after the corona shock and the DeFi Hype in the last weeks, a markect correction as it is happening right now, was to be expected.

I am hodling because i am in for the long run.
The current correction was shocking for most people.
I think it was due to defi projects and whales cashing out that resulted in dump.
But yes I am hopeful that overall market momentum and trend will remain bullish.

Frankly, I am also like most people, who feel scared when I see the market. Because most of the coins dump,
there is not much that can be done at this point. We have to hold the coins we have, that's the best way to avoid

Hold strong is just a word but most of the new traders get panic and sell their coins. On the other hand pro traders takes chance to make profit from this dump. Holding is always a good option . But we have to be careful about what we are holding i mean if i hold a good coin like btc,eth,xrp etc then i can say for sure that we all can make a good profit from these coin .But holding new coins or shitcoins is too much risky for anyone.

I hodl but I also sell to buy back if I see a sharp drop. A drop is good for profit if you see it. Bitcoin drop has been speculated before now so if you  dropped then, you could make profit while waiting to buy again.

I am the holder too mate. I have ripple and Ada, last couple of weeks I was in profit now I am not any more. I have some open orders from 2018 in April when it was high, but I bought on the begging of this year and that is my best open position. So I understand you, we just need to hold more and buy more haha.

I agreed with what you said because this is not the first time the market will experience dump in price but I dont why people only make news about the market when they are making loss whereas it always open new opportunity of buying low and the market can not always be green everytime.

this situation we are experiencing is not new so why such panic? we have been here many times already, and yet bitcoin and other alts rise again after the storm. theres nothing to worry about if you invested in a solid crypto like btc or eth. but defi? i don't think so. most of them are crap, so really think about sending your money to your next defi project.

yes, crypto prices will definitely increase again but not all crypto prices will increase, because many coin are listed on coinmarketcap but are dead (the project has no products and has no progress), so my advice if you want to buy and hold crypto for get a big profit later, then you better invest in crypto that does have a product and progress or you can invest in crypto that is in the top 500 on coinmarketcap, because I believe the price will definitely increase very high and will give you a very big profit.

It's not actually impossible that the dumps will last longer. The current movement of Bitcoin and alts are confusing, but if we look at the Bitcoin and Ethereum dominance at the moment, it is down compared to the past weeks. This is always the signal for the alt season and there is a greay possibility that it will happen in the next months. The DeFi hype started it, I just hope that it is way better than the ICO hype in 2017.

There are two kinds of people in the trading world, one gets happy when they see things going down and one feels fear when they see things going down. Try to be in the first one because that is how you make money.

If you see things going down, that means it is your moment to actually buy bitcoin, or any other coin that you see going down and think it will rebound, bitcoin is not something that stays down for too long, it could be whatever (it could literally go down to 1k all I care) and I know it will one day be over 12k again, it always reaches there eventually, at least once a year for a long time now. Hence why I believe if you see these falls as places to buy bitcoin cheap instead of places where bitcoin is dying and be afraid, you would actually do a lot better.

Holding strong to a straw is almost impossible. This is how the crypto market works. Only the strong will survive. If you have small amount of money invested in crypto, your chance of making it is slim to none. This is whales' world.     

Contrary to this opinion i,m also bitcoin maximalist but right now the market in that stage from a trader,s point of view it can get a nosedive moment & if we sell at this point & buying later at stages around 7-8k then quantity can be increased by great margin

I like your being optimistic :). It is not good to look at on the market right now, everything was like in a bloodbath. If you panic and sell your holdings then there's no doubt you will definitely lose. Who would have thought of selling their holding right now seeing how most of the coins in the market plummet unless you were dumb enough. Nothing to be panic if you were truly an investor then these dumps are nothing and you already knew what exactly to do in this situation. Things will be over soon just have your patience mate.

The word panic can only be applied to investors with lack of knowledge, or traders who don't know how to minimize the risk when the market is dumping.  First, know your purpose, if you are a trader and you have capital to trade for short term, you should know how to minimize the risk, you can't be profitable all the time and bitcoin can't be bullish all the time, so if it will dump, you have to cut lose and then wait again until the market will start to be bullish and go with the flow by buying and riding with it.

The dump in the market is quite discouraging and I feel really sad because I anticipated a bullish trend this period. I really do hope that the market correction does not last too long. We all need to be patient with the market and before long this correction would pass away.

What we can do right now is to hold and wait for the coins that we're holding to be on track again. I know that it wont take too long before the price bounce back since the market is high volatile. Have lots of patience and dont think of how much you lose when it comes to value, as long as you're not selling there's a high chance of getting it back.

I wouldn't hold any shitcoin rather than top coins that can give gains. We'll aware about the market volatility and those conditions should be monitor whenever we choose coins to invest, there are good outstanding coins that has ability to regain loss within a few Period of time while there are some that can't do same. It's pointless to hold shitcoins because no matter how strong you hold it it's still a shithole.

Do not be a victim of hold. If you had earn from the bitcoin pump then you can sell it right away and wait for the market to crash and for bitcoin to buy again. However, if you like to be greedy and wait for more pump then it will going to take time before it will going to happen. If you can wait that time without compromising your financial capabilities then that would also do good. Just get to analyze everything before making a decision. Do not worry of the downtrens especially if you are new because that is just normal and everything can bounce back again but it may depend on the market for sometimes it take just few days, weeks, months or even years. what you mean about holding coins for reasons of the current market situation or this is related to the DEFi trend as I have seen defi scam projects such as YAM, UBI, Shussi, YFII, etc. have emerged. Yea, patience is the only way of gain in this market i think. I am holding some BTC and ETH from 2018 because i know market will pump one day and now we are seeing the graph of up market. So if i sell all my savings in dump market i would be great loser. Investing is not easy when you put your money you have to work hard for it. As what others been said do not invest on what you cannot afford to lose. Hold for long term to aim for good profit though expect that market is volatile.

From the beginning of my cryptocurrency trading carrier i have seen lots of coin pumped and dumped and still go on. Where the Ethereum had a significant contribution of good amount of profit volume who has stored/hold and sold at a good price. This coin is always for a good to hold and trade. There is no loss issue if you are holding for few times and sold at good price when the price level goes up. So, i think you can hold it until you get a good price to sold it.

I also believe hold is gold. But not all project, Don't believe new project. Many times i hold some new altcoins but after few i can not find them exchange.  So my suggestions is select a good project and hold it for future.

Holding isnt just simply applicable in all coins in the market or to those projects whom you do believe that it has potential this is why this kind of thing do vary on each
person and do vary on the potential of the project itself.You do have that kind of strong will of holding on but you do end up on holding a shit coin which it didnt even tend

"Hold strong" can be a good strategy, but definitely not for all coins. I agree that it will work with many strong coins (BTC, ETH BNB or others from the first 20 cmc) but with others it may not be so rosy, so if you see that your coin drops overnight, sometimes it's better to get rid of it than wait for "better tomorrow "that may never come ....

If we have a positive mind, there is no possibility that we can work on it but we are doubtful, that seems impossible.

Anyway, holding will it something depends on the situation and it also matters what coin/s you've held. For most promising coins, it could better but if we are choosing less volatile coins, short-term holding is more appropriate. it is true. but my advice if you want to hold a new altcoin asset from a campaign you get better not for a long time. when a major update in the roadmap has been implemented then sell the asset immediately if it has a price increase. but for assets that are already strong in the market, there is no doubt to hold them for a long time.

Even if it goes bearish still no investors have to worry about it because bitcoin price is going to rise sooner or later but at some point it will reach new all time high so everyone who bought at the red will be making profits, and the weak hands will again enters into the market when the price is about to hit peak and loss their money in the next bearish cycle.
