Please be advised that because as.exchange (http://as.exchange) is in public beta testing mode, you cannot trade actual crypto-currency there, therefore, you will not be able to deposit, or withdraw any real money (there will be corresponding warning once you register). Instead of that, when you register, we immediately credit to your account 100 "TEST COINS" (equivalent in price to 100 BTC), so you could try the platform and see how everything works.

"0.00% withdraw fee for everyone", So user just need to pay the network fee when make a withdrawal from you exchange, right? then for how long? Forever implementation? What about a large amount of withdrawal, is it still no KYC needed for such action?

We, unlike other exchanges, intentionally don't do DeFi, ICO, own token, or things like that, while there are certainly benefits of those in some cases, most projects involving those intend only to "launch quickly" and don't have the required expertise on how to run a proper business, and they overuse the word "FinTech" forgetting the "Fin" part. So, answering your question, we heavily rely on true financial innovation - we patented new type of security "Tranched Value Security". It work's in a similar manner as asset-backed securities, but here you can use only 1 asset to diversify returns within that single asset. That means, if Bitcoin price goes up - everyone earns, if Bitcoin price declines - you don't lose anything if you hold senior value tranche (which is backed by the same Bitcoin).

Thank you for your question. Regarding withdrawal and deposit fees - yes, that is forever 0.00%, you are free to deposit and withdraw any amounts you wish forever without any limitations and KYC. So all you will be paying is the network fee, whatever that is at the time of withdrawal.

You're worried that BTC price will decline in the future.

Each TVS can claim 50% of BTC market price, or a fixed value of $5,000, whichever is greater; one TVS is Senior and the other is Junior, where Junior TVS can claim anything, only if Senior TVS's claim was satisfied in full.

So from that example, once TVS backed by BTC declined in value, Junior TVS becomes $3,000, and the holder of it might want to sell it in the market. You can buy that Junior TVS for $3,000 which gives you the right to claim 50% of BTC market value, or $5,000 given that Senior TVS was satisfied in full.

After that if BTC increase in value to $11,000, you can claim 50% of it, as Senior TVS's claim is also fully satisfied. So your return becomes $11,000 x 50% / $3,000 - 1 = +83.3%, while BTC returned only +37.5%.

First time though to hear Tranched Value Securities and I think this is innovative as this offering is a win-win situation for traders and the exchange itself. For sure, if this becomes successful in the future, other exchanges might implement this in there core and offer it to their users as well.

Deposit & withdrawal fees are set at 0% forever. The trading fees are 0% for the first 10,000 registered users only with securitized balance of at least $100. For the others, there are trading fees as specified on the website, and contract termination fees (once you decide that you wish to "de-securitize" your derivative and get back underlying asset instead). So there are fees, but we aim to provide as much benefits as possible to the first users and supporters.

And it's good that you have filled a patent (still pending) so that at least if someone wants to used it, they have to get your permission, or if other exchanges implemented it without your knowledge then there is patent infringement that can be filed against that exchange.

I agree, this is a hostile environment, cut throat business, other practices frauds just to be on top of the game and be relevant, while there are exchanges that can't really compete at a high level and eventually die down.


I guess if you really set your goals and bring and help average joe traders to get the most benefit here, you can survived here. There could be a lot of challenges and bumps ahead, but this is part of business processes that one have to experience and undergo in order to be successful in the future. Best of luck.

Yes, unfortunately this is the reality not of only the exchanges or crypto-exchanges, but business overall. There are the ones that need to be hostile, or alternatively they quickly get bankrupt, or become "zombie"-companies/projects that are alive and in the market, yet they are dead (I guess most of you will know what I mean here ;)) And that's not to mention frauds and scams that want to earn "easy, quick and dirty" money.

At least one thing for sure is that as.exchange (http://as.exchange) is not among those frauds or "zombies", that's the reason we don't ask anyone to invest, don't do ICO/TGE/IEO/etc., but just operate like a regular business serving our valuable customers.

It's your money in the end, and you shouldn't be paying for that to us simply for moving it around (yet, there's Bitcoin network fee, which you still end up paying, but of course not to us :), maybe in the future we will cover that for users also).

Currently for first 10,000 registered users with a balance of $100 at least, trading fees are also 0.00% for 1 year. In the future, we will have other financial products where people might be paying very small fee (we will make sure that our fee is the smallest in the market). Furthermore, we will soon be adding OTC trading (similar to LocalBitcoins) - also with 0.00% trading fees, so stay turned ;)

Answering your question - how we maintain the project: 1) The founding team has put all personal savings into the company, 2) We are raising equity round from local funds (it's not public, thus public cannot invest; and there will not be DeFi, or public useless token like issued by other exchanges to raise funding). Therefore, from that perspective - we are not one of those exchanges that launch on ICO or something, but a regular startup like Uber or Robinhood in the early years that did everything the right way without scaming people or selling useless digital assets.

Thank you for your valuable recommendation - in fact what you mentioned about listing on coingecko, coinmarketcap, etc. is our top priority starting from beginning of 2021. With as.exchange (http://as.exchange) you have the actual Bitcoins in your personal cabinet, not the fake Bitcoins as described above.

Could you do this in a non-custodial way, with WBTC and ETH?

That's a great question! Yes, that would be possible, but there are specific reasons why we chose the current model:
1) derivatives for BTC & digital assets are just the first step for us, with later additions of alternative assets (PE/VC fund shares, commodities, real estate, etc.) as underlyings, and then capital market assets (stocks, bonds, FX). Thus it's hardly imaginable that NASDAQ, CBOE, CME, HKEX or similar ones would be operating on non-custodial model
2) As the current trend (which is unlikely to change very soon), custodial exchanges aggregate greater liquidity via market makers, partners, and retail traders, while the second one normally doesn't to such extend. Therefore, we aim to provide customers with the best currently available liquidity to ensure you get executed trades fast and at best prices.
3) We are not "just another crypto-exchange" where developers raise public money, do DeFi, issue useless internal token or something and put all responsibility on end-users for asset safety. So with them - if you lose it for some reason - it's your problem. On the contrary, with our model - we fully understand and take full responsibility for safety of each single client. And if something happens - we will be responsible for full compensation.

Due to the above, currently we operate as custodial CEX.

1) Tranched Value Securities (TVS) trading backed by ETH and other ERC-20 tokens (currently we support BTC only)
2) Forward contracts trading (as currently you can trade only futures on other exchanges, thus you have no flexibility in that)
3) BTC OTC spot trading (like on LocalBitcoins) with 0% fees

In order of priority? I would say:

(1), (3) and then (2);

(1) because obviously you have the patent pending, so once it get's approved you should roll this out the soonest. And then (3) a 0% fee will be very much attractive for investors, specially average joe traders. And then last (2), as I believed this is for more experience and big traders out there.

How about 3), but also for Ethereum? Fees are fine, you can make them small like 1%.

- BTC OTC spot trading (like on LocalBitcoins) with 1% fees

- ETH OTC spot trading (like on LocalBitcoins) with 1% fees

Thank you for your feedback. It is highly appreciated! :) I believe this might be the best option for us, but we will see what other people think as currently only 2 people here replied. And of course (3) would be for all cryptocurrencies, BTC would just be immediately available, and ETH, LTC, XRP, and others would take maybe 2-3 weeks to implement, since we, unlike most exchanges out there, don't use "white-label" solutions or modifications of "open-source" (if you check most of exchanges you will find out they are using same software developed by few vendors, and all the software loopholes and weaknesses are pretty known in the market, that's why we develop everything in-house from zero :) and sometimes take a little longer than others to rollout new feature)

And as for the fees, be believe that if we didn't create anything new, or didn't make something significant (like BTC/ETH/cryoto OTC), or if it's already available in the market - it would be unethical to charge people for that. Furthermore, with this - it's ultimately your own money which you trade, therefore why would we charge you for using your own money? :)

However, for innovative products, yes there is a fee, as its not available anywhere else. But we do provide significant benefits to the first people who supported us and who believed in us.

Correct since it is pending, the patent is not going to be public until the body finally decided to approved it or reject. But in any case I will assume that the patent has been filed since 2019 as the CEO  Zvezdin, Nikolay, Tranched Value Securities papers have been in the market since Feb 2019.

I think you are being a little mistaken :) As we noted before, you cannot invest in as.exchange (http://as.exchange), as we don't raise funding. So just to correct for other readers, you might have used Tranched Value Securities (TVS) where you need to securitize your assets, and trade it with other users on the exchange. Just to avoid possible misunderstanding from other community members :)

But yes, you can calculate here: https://as.exchange/calculator the potential performance of your TVS, same as you do so with options and futures on other resources.

You are absolutely correct. The research paper provides a very comprehensive and detailed overview of the proposed new financial product. It was published even before we started as.exchange (http://as.exchange). Actually at that time, the CEO was considering whether this product should be patented and sold to other financial institutions for their own use, or should be implemented by himself. And the final decision was to create as.exchange (http://as.exchange), as there are many other opportunities in the market for other financial products as well which can be implemented (and we will do so!), while other institutions might misuse the product. Therefore, because the CEO believed that if he implement it himself with his team and friends, there could be much greater benefits for the market, and for common people, therefore, here we are :)

Good decision by the CEO though, yes I have said before the idea is really good, might be difficult to understand specially for average joe investors but as I/others dig deeper into the product itself it really has the potential to be a good financial product.

Also the final decision to file for a patent is clever I might say, because yeah it could be abuse or misuse by others. But by having a patent, everyone should follow the rule of law here that could benefits us and the financial market in the long run.

1) Yes, we understand very well that we are new, and thus it's very reasonable for some people not to believe us: by the end of 2020 we at as.exchange (http://as.exchange) partnered with reputable PR agency to assist us with public relations & media relations in order to establish "social proof", which is obviously not there yet, as we went live just in December 5, 2020. Therefore, this issue will be solved pretty soon. Apart from that, we try to stay as active as possible in our social networks, and occasionally even the CEO himself takes time to reply to comments and feedback whenever possible;
2) Other exchanges scam people in most of the cases and/(or) sell the useless tokens/coins to raise funds/scam people: Absolutely correct, therefore, we made several commitments that were announced publically as you can see from comments here, which includes: 1. Never do ICO/TGE/IEO, 2. Never do DeFi, 3. If ever have to raise funds - do it through traditional ways of approaching VCs, or reputable crowdfunding platforms, but never just in public as done by other blockchain projects, 4. Before we have to raise anything from external parties, irrespective of who they are (professional funds or reputable crowdfunding platforms) founders and the whole team will spend all their personal money and savings for the company/project, because if we are not able to commit everything what we have, how we can ask people for any kind of trust?
3) Other CEX/DEX/...EX lack the liquidity: Very common issue for any new or recently emerged platform which is solved at as.exchange (http://as.exchange) in several approaches: 1.
