i have been in the cryptocurrency field since 2014 and i have seen the brightest and darkest days of BTC but when i look at the current rising conditions of the bitcoin market i see that we have come a long way and most of the world is accepting the cryptocurrency payments and some lager brands are also connected to the BTC world.

but sometimes a thought crosses my mind that will these conditions last longer and better in the future?

I believe strongly without a doubt that the future is looking good for btc. As predicted, more individuals and businesses around the world have seen the light of btc shinning at a distance and how brighter the future is as we progress. Btc is already performing better this new year than it did last year and progressively, it will continue to perform and more individuals and companies will definitely join the moving train.

I think bitcoin is going to be our future digital currency because now everyone is using virtual media more.At one time many people thought that bitcoin would be a scam for which many people did not want to invest in bitcoin but now we can see how well bitcoin has gone.So I can now strongly believe that bitcoin will never disappoint us and its future will get better day by day.

What do you mean by that? You think when price drops it is the "darkest days"? It is actually quite the opposite, for instance when price went down as low as $3k a couple of years ago it was the best day in bitcoin world because you could buy bitcoin at a MASSIVE discount.

From what I understand through cryptocurrency, crypto is an investment, assets and future, because using bitcoin to transact and also follow with the precautions it showns that cryptocurrency is future, OK take a look at essential countries, it's obvious that many of these countries has adopt the system of transacting with cryptocurrency in all ramifications, btc is the shortest way of making payment if we understand the concept of cryptocurrency and I believe by now some countries might introduce system payment through cryptocurrency especially bitcoin which is generally accepted.

Unless we are experiencing any drought which is not gonna happen soon because the good news is feeding the market everyday.

We are now in a good thing as the bitcoin keeps increasing because of Elon Musk when he tweeted the hashtag bitcoin and when Tesla buys bitcoin which results in the biggest leap, maybe this would be the start of the bitcoin, hoping that a lot of company will do the same.

I am sure bullish waves are huge right now and seem to be going even higher but the crash can happen and then even Musk will not be there to save your money. This is rather the time to sell bitcoin and book the profit before you buy again when the crash happens.

It has been 12 years since Bitcoin has been created and you can see what effect it has with regards to financial industry.

Companies investing on it, an average Joe can invest into it by just using smartphone, those middle class people (like me) have given the chance to invest into it and hoping that most of us will be millionaires (by continuously investing still) and many more. Obviously, in the last 10 years bitcoin has survived, so why question what it can bring in the future? We have a bright future ahead of us, just like we are witnessing in this current bull run.

There is a shiny future ahead to bitcoin. Surly the market is still young even after hitting a new ATH. You an see time after time, there are more investor and famous businessmen starting to talk about bitcoin and invest on it. After any halving cycle bitcoin price will go into a new phase and hit a new ATH and if this continues for a few more years the price is one bitcoin will be much much more than 50K and bitcoin will be something super rare due to huge demand small supply.

Of course I am saying the same thing that the darkest days were when the market was so volatile that it could not stand at one point as it is now between two specific prices like above 40k and less than 50k but when it was at 7k or 8k even 10k was the spiking price. but the prediction has been made that it will hit 100k in 2021 because everyone is turning to BTC and altcoins for long term profit and especially after Elon Musk and Tesla bought the BTC at the highest price so you can imagine that it will definitely hit 100k this year so buy it and wait for the highest bubble  :)

We wait for this cycle to reach a price that is statistically similar to previous cycles. Can it end now at 50k? Maybe, and it could have, but Tesla decided to boost Bitcoin and probably this cycle will go on for a few more months. It wasn't looking likely to drop too much. Bitcoin have run long ever since its creation and along those years of its existence, we have seen lots of challenges it have surpassed as well as the ups and downs that it have gone through and how it have improved on the past few years. Bitcoin is undoubtedly a fast growing cryptocurrency on which at first many people are against on its usage and existence and strongly doubt that it can last long and will just crash as time goes by. But look at it on the current situation, Bitcoin have showcase a great and wonderful improvements and have given lots of opportunities to mankind that makes people believe on it being able to reach this point that we are seeing right now. If what you say about more and more people who are interested in cryptocurrencies, of course we cannot deny that it is true until now, especially since prices are soaring high, of course more people are excited to have.

but if a country adopts bitcoin as an official currency, obviously I am not very familiar with any country. because if you admit it as a trade, maybe many countries have implemented it. but still to make local purchases, still use the existing fiat money.

Currently it is trading at 56K USD so I dont think 60K USD will be too far away. If not we might see a drop but question is how well are the support levels. Even then for future thoughts, things will remain a pump and dump unless we see mainstream institutions actually force the governments to accept crypto.

Hi, maybe the same as you but I am following this crypto from 2016 which is still at a far price compared to now.
But without us knowing it, the crypto price skyrocketed from several factors, especially from the large number of enthusiasts. The more famous Crypto is, the more enthusiasts the higher the price it gets.

Yes, the most important thing is that larger business start using BTC. That is happening, and it will happen more and more. As we see it for now, that path is just moving forward, atleast since 2017-18. It is almost impossible anyone who entered btc world will leave it.

Bitcoin has matured, I've been here for at least 5 years and has been facing many things like a pump a lot when bitcoin price touched $20.000 and dump a lot until its price touched $3500 just in several months.

But, I don't think that the situation will happen again. I said bitcoin has matured because they are so many companies who accept it. When many people especially instutional investor has been believed bitcoin then we are in mass adoption.

Bitcoin price is rising and until now has been touching $48000 and more. We can't do that without instutional investor, yeah believe me. They have a lot of money and the important thing they will hold bitcoin as long as they can and that will not makr bitcoin price dump like 2018 ago.

I believe that the world in the future will be more open and welcoming to the Cryptocurrency Industry however there will be certain limitations that would be set regarding Cryptocurrencies. The advancement of Cryptocurrencies are scary if someone would look at it as an ordinary person because he/she would be overwhelmed by the fact that Cryptocurrencies have different values and learning about it when it has already taken over most establishments would be a scary transition for them and that is why people with the knowledge of Cryptocurrencies should try to teach it to others when the opportunity comes up.

future. Even Elon Musk, the richest person in the world can be interested in investing in Bitcoin, means that Elon Musk also believes that
the future of Bitcoin will be bright. Moreover, more and more institutions are investing in Bitcoin,  there is no reason for us not to trust Bitcoin.

Bitcoin will last until a better option is offered. Nothing lasts forever in this world and it won't be different with bitcoin, although I think it will take a long time yet until bitcoin becomes useless. We didn't even reached the peak and fully adoption yet. The future looks very optimistic for bitcoin. Many people are already aware about this fact and that is why we see so much interest in bitcoin nowadays, reflected on the currently currency's price.

We can never predict what's the future of bitcoin. It may become the digital currency that everyone wanted. It maybe the only currency that is used by everyone, replacing fiat. Or it maybe the exact opposite. It may turn out to be something disappointing. Maybe we will find a huge flaw that will make bitcoin completely obsolete. Probably a new currency or technology might be invented that will be far superior than blockchain and bitcoin. All I am trying to say is that you may never know what's going to happen in the future. Maybe things will be the same the next decade, maybe not.

I agree, what happens in the future is not in our control but the present can change the future so we all have to focus on what is currently on the table and make do with it and enjoy everything because as @adzino says, no one can predict the future so cherish it while you can.

It's creating a divide between bitcoiners and nocoiners. Nocoiners are bitter and mad for missing the boat. Bitcoiners brag about their gains while their bitcoin is locked in storage. This dynamics repeats every bull/bear market. It seems to get more intense from now on. In the previous cycle, Ethereum and ICOs took some heat away from Bitcoin. In the current cycle, Bitcoin is the king. It still doesn't do anything else besides sitting there for speculation. People don't talk much about Lightning.

I'm bearish about the future impact of Bitcoin if we continue like this. Price appreciation is a blind spot. Volatility remains high. Bitcoin has gone 2 halving cycles without payment adoption. Payment adoption is secular. We need it. Otherwise, Bitcoin is turning into a religious movement. The world is increasingly polarized. Bitcoin increases polarization.

I agree but in bitcoin, there is a lot of wealth that's flowing on it. It's not limited to very people, we can say that there's really a vast wealth that's circulating to a very few people but it includes the exchanges that hold massive bitcoin and wealth. I believe in Bitcoin for the future also. It is the cryptocurrency that I trust the most in this market. First of all, it is the oldest one which makes it really attracting. And its current potential is still really big. I expect the price to reach million-dollar values.

Bitcoin has always a brighter future ahead, it maybe banned for today but soon this crypto will be use in a global market. It may not replace fiat existence but it will be part of the currency that circulates in the world economy. I've knew bitcoin way back 2017 and this is the time where I witnessed the most awaiting ATH and all of sudden the most dropped off of bitcoin but after 3 years this crypto token made a big come back but the mere truth about it is this crypto was still battling for the legal adoption of the world economy to its existence. I wouldn't say it can't be done with national digital currencies to create a network that let's you send money within no time across the world for an almost zero fee. Technically, it can be done. It does already exist for the Eurozone, the so called SEPA network. You can send for a fee money to any country in the Eurozone within 10 seconds. Bitcoin has other advantages than being borderless when it comes to transactions. It is also borderless when it comes to taking your wealth with you because nobody knows.

No one is guaranteed about the bitcoin future as we saw earlier that after 2 years Bitcoin price pumped and cross the $50k but now it's again down to the price of $35k and still the market trend is not confirmed.

I don't really have a prediction for bitcoin's future. What I know is Bitcoin has proven it validity and effectiveness in this current century. But would it span through to the future ? Yes based on it's historical records I believe it will. Will Bitcoin be relevant then ? I believe Bitcoin has what it takes to keep it's sanctity even in any age.

I am not from that region and this is the first time i am hearing about a separate SEPA network for European countries and what is the transaction charges and when did they implement these, i bet after the Bitcoin market came into existence because for SWIFT  transaction you need to give a minimum of $15 and upward depending on the amount you are sending.

With all the ups and down bitcoin faced it still survived and is  doing great, so there is all possibility that bitcoin will last longer and  will be better off in the future.

Though BTC is doing so good these days yet we cant say with certainty about future of BTC. In my view, BTC still has long way to go as its still not one of fundamental technology of the world. There are many technologies in the past that came up become popular and then collapsed. We need to wait and see how things work for BTC. So far its summer for BTC and all is well in the eyes of crypto enthusiastic.

I knew futures about 20 years ago and at that time it was easy to convince investors because of the promise of profit from various futures products, but because most investors lost then after 3 years I worked in futures it was difficult to get investors, futures were promising but also very risky, things that make us not want to invest because of the complicated administration and closing costs of futures which can reach $50. after getting to know bitcoin, now more and more investors are leaving futures.

Futures investment in my opinion is no longer attractive, a few years ago I invested in futures and the results were disappointing because I only profited 5% for almost 9 months and was charged about 3% for account closing so that only 1% net profit. While I do agree with you that virtual currencies are the 'future' of money, this kind of shift will require all countries to adhere to such technology. From the outset, this would take roughly years in order to develop as this would heavily prejudice underdeveloped and developing countries where their focus is not on 'digitalizing currency' but on education, infrastructure, etc.

In order to have this kind of implementation, it is imperative that all countries must accept BTC as a form of legal tender. With the recent announcement of China prohibiting completely the transaction of BTC, this would take a very long-time in order to see this happening.
