If you had 4,000.00 USD to use to invest in cryptocurrency, and that was all the money you can afford to use for crypto investments for the year of 2021, where would you put it?

I'm just curious to see what kind of opinions I would get in a forum like this. I'm hoping that I might learn something as a beginner in the crypto world as a result of putting this question out there. :)

Keep in mind thought that I already understand 3 things:

1. Never invest any amount of money that you can't afford to lose, because crypto markets are so volatile that it's a risk no matter what you do, and I get that.

2. I'm not asking you to tell me which crypto to invest in, just curious what your opinion is.

3. I understand that what I do with my money is my responsibility, and nobody else's, and the results of my investment(s) whether good or bad, is on me. :)

Throughout its short crypto history, Bitcoin has always been a safe investment, especially in the long run - so most will advise you to direct your investment in that direction. Of course if your goal is to profit in the short term, another option is to invest in some of the altcoins that tend to give you a higher profit compared to Bitcoin.

I'm not going to tell you which altcoin to invest in, I think the financial responsibility is on each of us individually - but I can advise you not to invest all your money in one coin, reduce your risk and invest in more of them that you think will end this year with at least 100% growth.

Of course, there are various speculations that BTC will be worth at least $100 000 by the end of the year, and some are speculating about as much as $300 000. I suggest you visit CMC (https://coinmarketcap.com/), look at the top 20 or even 50 coins and their history in at least the last 6 months, it can give you some guidance in what to invest your money in.

$ 4000 great for beginner. If you want to invest in crypto, I think it's best to buy Bitcoin, but first I think you should read a lot about the risks. I believe in the long term Bitcoin is good. But at the moment the price is too high and may be corrected, I think you should be patient to buy cheaper. If you are not a long-term investor you might be better off learning to trade daily or weekly, you might make a profit faster. But all need a process you have to study hard, maybe a demo account will make you more experience to make decisions.

@Lucio, i think you have to think in terms of asset aquisition and position plus income derivation. thats the only time you can get a real feel of the value of your funds. Do you want to accumulate bitcoin, do you want to use bitcoin as a derivative asset to generate $$, do you want to speculate in the market. If its speculation then you can use a balance portfolio to carry that out, by using bitcoin to buy more crpto assets when it goes up. and when btc stays same or goes down sell some crypto assets and buy btc. so all this is not financial advice thanks.

Are you willing to lose that $4,000? I'm just in doubt honestly because it was a big amount for a newbie to start in crypto and especially during this bullish season.

Anyway, This is only I could suggest,
Spread your funds to different coins, not only for Bitcoin. It is too late for you to start investing in Bitcoin, it is already at its peak and anytime it drops again making to lose your investment. It could be safe to have some altcoins then as for back-up if the case like that will happen, will never know.

Bitcoin. It should be pretty obvious. Is there even any better coin with the best risk:reward ratio out there? I don't think so. Personally, I'd just lump sum buy that $4k USD into bitcoin right now and just hold it for years and years and years and let demand and the scarcity to do the magic.

I don't actually have 4,000.00 dollars to invest in. I own six different types of crypto but they're in amounts of 5.00 USD or 10.00 USD. However I'm slowly saving up 4,000.00 USD so I can do some more serious investments in the future. So far, I got 1,200.00 saved up toward that goal. I'm hoping that by the time I have 4,000.00 to invest in, I'll know what to do with it. :)

I'm not going to put the whole amount into a single currency, with $ 4000 I think that's a lot of money. In fact, I will not use it entirely for trading, either as a trader or a holder. It is true, if we use all of it to invest in promising currencies, it will be profitable. But, as you said, it would be very risky considering the market is not necessarily stable. Therefore, I prefer some of these assets not to be used all of them, a lot of business can generate profits. Don't just rely on one effort (Personally speaking), or better yet, I'll save half of it just in case something goes wrong.

Because, if we only rely on one business or can for example, we depend on one currency only. At times we suffer a loss from it. We will panic and find it difficult to find a way to recover the capital that has been lost. However, if we have a business that mutually fortifies each other. If one business suffers a loss, we can reverse capital from our other efforts.

As a newbie, you do not have to look for any investment in crypto.
The quickest answer and most advisable crypto for you guys is bitcoin.
That shall suffice your need as a newbie with your desire of investing to the market.

For beginners with an initial capital of $4000 it is quite large but basically they intend to be serious.
I now prefer a challenge because with a few tokens that have appeared on the exchange for now it is quite captivating for me to move there a lot of increases which are pretty good even I see this significant movement makes more valuable profits, of course it's all full of high risk and I never to continue there must be times where losses must occur.

When it comes to beginners, it's better to invest in a certain way with a little risk and choose the top one, say btc and eth, save it in your fortopolio and the rest choose an altcoin that you think is worth investing in.

If I have that amount to invest I definitely by ETH at this moment ( Current market ). But if you talk about some days/month later I wait for the bitcoin correction and full my bag with bitcoin and hold them atleast for a year.

And I think bitcoin is the main option for long term investment. Because if you see the bitcoin price history chart then it always move forward, always overtake last ATH. So if you have patience then you can invest in bitcoin without hesitation IMO.

My opinion?
Just like the majority, it would be Bitcoin. You could still go far and go with Ethereum and it is still up to for that.
Many would get used to Bitcoin, so that you'll expect a lot of "Bitcoin" responses, and that's again, entirely up to you on what you still wanted to invest.

That is good. At least, you can try to buy more amount of each coin. You can do it, and I hope you can focus on your goal. I think your coin can have a chance to increase but you need to be careful as we do not know if the market can sustain. The crypto market can make a correction, and if that happens, you will have time to buy at a low price.

This is particularly true and I totally agree with you. Investing in bitcoin is less risky and it is the most probable investment you should invest it. However, you'd have to buy and hodl for a very long time because it's an investment for the long term.
If you're thinking of an investment to give profit in a short-term, then your best option is to invest in altcoins with potentials. There are a lot of altcoins that are actually shitcoins and you'd lose your money if you invest in them. So take time out to study coins with potential that you'd make profits with. I will choose to buy BNB, as you know, BNB is currently planning to burn, and will automatically target them to follow Ethereum. there is a possibility that holding BNB in the long term will be very effective.
why not Bitcoin and Ethereum? I think for the current price, entering in the middle of a bullish is not the right choice,

I think investing in BTC and BNB is good at this time. I would invest $2000 in BTC and $2000 in BNB. Price of BTC will increase more very soon.  And BNB starting to pumping, I think, BNB also will hit a big price.

Investing $4000 is risky if you don't afford to loose that much in this highly volatile market of Cryptocurrencies.So I would suggest not to put all your eggs in one basket and portfolio diversification is key factor in trading but you should choose wisely different coins that have future ahead with growing demand and development.I would not suggest you to invest in any shitcoins in the market and you can have a look at the past graphs of coins and have regular follow up of their technical leads before investing.Some of the top coins of CMC like Bitcoin,ETH,Litecoin,DOT will eventually give you profits in the long run so you could definitely invest in them.Rest decide your own future.

Investing any amount is not a difficult task. The important thing is to find out how much profit you will make from your investment and whether the project has that capacity. A new crypto user does not know the details of the market, so they invest everything in various projects without doing any research.

From crypto you can make huge profits by investing in the right projects, similarly, if you invest in the wrong project, no one will be able to save you from huge losses. So it doesn't matter how much money you investing on any project, it matter how promising the project you are investing in is.

Could you be a trader? If so then I think you need to split the money. $ 4K is a lot of money, divide it for the long and medium term maybe scalping and backing up. For long term coins I choose BNB and BTC. Even though BTC is expensive, you may need a little patience to have it. Regarding BNB, they are real and developing products, I think the next few years will be the same as ETH. All decisions are yours, take the steps you think suit you best.

If the goal is investing mid term (3~5 years): Personally, I would invest that amount diversified between BTC and ETH. Maybe 60% on BTC and 40% on ETH.

Now we are probably arriving to the top of a bull run, but institutional investment, like Tesla's, clearly suggest that price will continue to raise after the next correction.

Ethereum in the other hand, is supporting many crypto projects, so if it fails, it will bring many project down with it which in my opinion is a very unlikely scenario.

To the OP, I'm pretty sure it's best if it's a Bitcoin minimum of 60% of your portfolio, he carries the least risk.
All other alts can bring you high profit but also can be worthless in a very short time.


When say, hold for years and years but when it's time to sell it? How long to hold?
If I am 40yeras old (for example) and holding BTC next 15 years. it is obvious that the value will be many times higher, but what to do with money with 55 years of life, I mean you can do much less with that money, right?
This is not my clear opinion, more something like a dilema.

Such an investment in BTC and BNB will be one of the safest in terms of saving the deposit. But the profit here will be limited to perhaps a few tens of percent. This is a large profit when compared with traditional banks, but incommensurable with the one that can be obtained with a successful investment in altcoins.

Provided that we know how to trade responsibly and have time in monitoring the chart we can buy BNB, bitcoin will never be a question to invest with, the price in the future will be more as adoption happens but BNB can change from time to time depending on the exchange performance. See how current trends are developing and invest in them. BNB is definitely a good choice, 20% go there.
Bitcoin certainly deserves 30%. Ether as the largest Ecosystem also deserves 20%. I would allocate 15% for half a DOT and another 15% for UNI.

If I have an opportunity to use that money for good, and $4k usd isn't bad at all because that's a huge amount. But, bitcoin price was still at higher level value so it's good to look for potential altcoins which could rise while it's not yet pumping.
By the time you got your profit, wait until such time bitcoin go back down and reinvest.

If you're only owning bitcoin solely for the price increase, then sell it when you're happy.

But of course, since we're all getting older, it's also good to sell small chunks here and there to be able to enjoy life. Because what is money if you somewhat can't enjoy it in the first place?

Having $4k is enough to invest in crypto. You can buy bitcoin, ethereum, BNB or you can invest in bitcoin, DOT, ADA, TRX or you can research to find what coin you want. Your $4k will have a chance to buy 5 coins or more coins at the same time, but if you can not manage all of that coins, then 3 coins will be good enough to hold. I suggest you use some amount to trade so you can increase the amount while you are waiting for the price to increase and break the new highest price.

Do not save money until you reach 4000.

Dollar Cost Averaging. in your case take 50 bucks and buy some btc .  do it 24 weeks in a row.

At the same time save money on the side.

after 24 weeks see what you saved.
see what the btc you bought did.
come back here and post your totals.

If this $4000 of him are savings which he won't be touching for months, its going to be good to invest one of the tokens you suggest and stake. Its like waiting for the price to go up and also earning tokens at the same time. But he isn't asking which crypto to invest though.

But if he will just keep cashing out, its best to just watch a BTC trading crash course and then trade to earn USD. All the time if he learns it quickly.

Binance coins is doing some impressive numbers, I can remember when I first bought it earlier this year it was trading around approximately $40 and now it's way above $350 and heading towards the $400 milestone which is a 1000% return of investment ($4000 turned $40,000) assuming you bought earlier this year. With $4000 I think I'll still be going all in in BNB, they have room for more growth and the development going on with the Binance smartchain isn't slowing down anytime soon.

Although their blockchain isn't decentralized as they claim, yet they're doing some impressive numbers and the last time I saw such development ongoing was with ethereum which saw it grow massively. BNB is on similar part, in couple of months, chances are another 100% could be achieved if I use the funds to buy into bnb now.

If I have $4000 to invest only I am going to invest it all in bitcoin. Although that depends on when I actually got the money, because there are times I don’t like investing at all in any cryptocurrency or asset, I always make sure that I am investing at the right time, but bitcoin is definitely what I am going for.

And if I feel like I should add extra cryptocurrencies (altcoins) to the investment I have done, then I am going to invest in Ethereum or Litecoin. I don’t worry about other cryptocurrencies, although there are a few others I do like, but Bitcoin is what I buy most of the time.

With my current knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, I don't think that I would just put it all in bitcoin since there are a lot of NFTs and other projects that are currently having a lot of potential so I would probably split it in about a half on bitcoin and the other half spread across different altcoins and NFTs.

Buying coins on high is not the right choice for investing. How many times should the price of BTC increase in order for this 4 thousand dollars to turn into 50 thousand? I am sure that in the near future we will not see such an increase in the price of bitcoin. But such a price increase from new altcoins is possible. Therefore, you need to direct your investment in such coins.

If I had 4 million dollars I would not invest it into anything. Hell if I had half a million dollars I would not invest it into anything. Where I from half a million dollars is good enough money to retire, that is what I am trying to reach to and if I ever have it (probably will never have it) that is when I will probably give up and just retire, not that it is possible for me to have that much money, very few people have that kind of money compared to who do not. So, if you ever put me in a situation where I have 4 million dollars, I would rather just put that in a bank, maybe get like a tiny interest rate (not that it would make anything) and use that money to end up retired and just have fun all day.

I am not an expensive person, I do not really spend too much, I try to keep my costs to minimum because I do not need to spend money to have fun, I can just buy a game and play that for few weeks and I would be happy, so I think 4 million dollars could cover multiple life times for me.

Well, that is how you look into yourself and knows to be contented with what you have now. But OP is trying to make millions, some good money out of $4,000 and that is the reason why he is likely to invest in crypto(and that he is asking for now).

I'm not going to say he is right in choosing crypto for investment nor I would say he can be a millionaire someday just for this. It is a matter of time, can't we all are here makes millions, can't all be rich,  and so also might happen to OP. If he could really work for this investment and willing to wait for that moment, that possible that he can reach his goal.

Its always a good idea to invest in bitcoin as it keeps improving every year, wherein despite of some issues as well that keep occuring it has a ability to survive, very reliable! . unlike other crypto currency in the market.
 And In it for sure can 2x or maybe 3x your money,., the only thing you need to do is leave your money to bitcoin and come back after year or two. You will become rich mate.. Just put trust because that's the most important don't be greedy..

If ever I have that amount of USD, I will trade the half in different altcoins then I will buy bitcoin and Ethereum the other half and just hold for long term to have huge profit. I love and enjoy trading that's why I thinks it's good to put some big amount in trading.

Investing in bitcoin is my number one option because I do not want to waste the big amount of money like this. I know that I am not able to have $4000 for investment after a year of working. Hence, bitcoin is safer than any other cryptocurrency. Choosing a suitable time to buy bitcoin is also a considerable issue. No wants to want to buy on its peak, or I have to hold my bitcoin for a long time in order to have a good profit.

Many of my friends would recommend me to invest in top 10 altcoins. They do have the potential to increase more, but I believe that with the current velocity and the mass adoption from Paypal, Tesla, Microsoft will prevent the price of bitcoin from a sell-off black swan while other cryptos have a higher possibility of having repercussion.

Nevertheless, cryptocurrency is a vast place for investors. The surplus will be put in those undervalue cryptocurrencies that are infamous in some underground group

 

It is sure of on my current knowledge and experience. Since I do not have broad knowledge and experience yet, I will not invest this amount in the beginning. If ever I have that amount of money, I will divide that money into 5 crypto coins to invest or buy  them. Because, it is better to to have a several eggs in one basket rather than in one eggs only. And of course, Bitcoin still the best for this , second Link, Bnb, Xem, Ame, and Ethereum.

Well, in my experience, if ever I had 4,000 USD, I would first invest to find a great accountant. As he will be able to make that investment flow.
I guess today, we all know that finance doesn’t need to be kept and keeps moving any time. So, the best thing to do is to play it.
Second, I would keep the 90% in bitcoin and 10% for the exchange and start scalp trading. These are enough for the 4,000 USD to live long.

There is not a straight answer to this, because everything will depend on the goals that each person has for their money, to me the obvious answer is to put it all in bitcoin, now some people may think that its price may be overvalued, but it is not, the price can still have a lot of potential to go up and we cannot ignore this, now some may suggest to invest in an altcoin but I do not agree with this as the new concepts that are emerging from that market are getting even more ridiculous as time passes.

I would put it all in bitcoin. It is a relatively save investment to make. As a store of value it is the obvious choice. I don't pay too much attention to altcoins but BNB, TRX, and ETH are all doing well lately and should be worth considering if you want to diversify a little.

These gonna be my plan if ever I have that amount,

-invest in the stock market(40%)
-invest some crypto(40%)
-20% for savings
Savings is also very important to us, you can't just spend it all without any backup and that is why I have to get 20% for the reason.

For long-term investment, I would go for the following if I have $4,000 USD budget:

40% into cryptocurrency (splitting them to some long-term coins)
40% into starting a lucrative business
20% would be my savings

That’s just me, of course. As for stocks, I am not a fan of that.

Savings for emergency purposes, it's important so you won't touch any of your investment.

You can focus with your journey investing to your choosen venue, allowing enough time to grow your investment. You can always

Personally if I'm having $4k then definitely I will buy only bitcoin for that money. Because I'm not believing in to any other altcoins anymore; just holding bitcoin is alone enough for any investor to ensure at least 10x returns in next four years.

Anyway, I'll look into altcoins (NFT, DeFi) that are cheap if I have the amount since Bitcoin had been expensive and it may take long before it will be dumped again, or not.

For a 4-year period, making a profit of x10 is not something fantastic, because now new altcoins give their investors x100 when listing on the exchange. First of all diversification is very important and we should be taking advantage of that when we have this much money, and we should also be careful about DCA as well because going all in with this it would be very bad. What I would do? I would pick 20 coins, I know which ones I would probably pick, at least 10 of them is guaranteed, but you will have to pick your own but I would suggest pick your top 20 from the top 50 of crypto.

I would say do not pick the ones that are in trouble for a while like eos, xrp, bch, bsv and so forth because they are not really good, try to focus on stuff like btc, eth, bnb, ada and so forth because they are great. After that's done I will buy 10k dollars worth from each of them every day, 20 coins times 10k dollars means 200k dollars, that would make it 20 days, you could even go as low as 1k dollars for each of them if you want, but 10k is definitely good enough.

the wisest thing right now is to invest in bitcoin, no matter how much altcoins make you tempted to invest money don't invest in altcoin in the long run at this point unless you are willing to take a big risk. why am i saying this?

so far altcoins have risen thanks to bitcoin, but if bitcoin falls a little bit the price of altcoins has gone into a big dump because people have sold altcoin to buy bitcoin

now talking specifically about bitcoin, you will need to set an entry price, for example if you are going to buy after breaking the resistance or if you prefer to expect a possible drop below $47000 to $42000 (it is still hard to imagine that it falls at this level)

It will be awkward if we say were going to use the money in different business because this is asked in trading board and the best answer will be putting the money in trading and in crypto trading you need to choose a crypto to start working .
Nft is more on investing and it can be expensive , that's not ideal with you because your avoiding expensive assets but there are cheap defi's which you can play with . 
if I have the amount ask by op I will trade normal altcoins not defi and put some to btc

LTC- $500
ETH- $500
BNB- $500
UNI- $500

Small allocation but it isnt really bad on always stick with top altcoins.

Everyone has different life necessities, so I'm sure everyone's investment policy will be different too. I myself really believe in the future of Bitcoin,
so I will invest 50% in Bitcoin. Then 10% I will buy some altcoins, the next 20% I will invest in the stock market. And the remaining 20% I will save
in my bank account, for savings if there is a sudden need.

Just in case failure will come, you still have money left. It is a nice idea.
I was thinking that way also but I never put a huge amount for investment in crypto alone, I have to open for outside investment like real estate for more assurance.

4,000 USD isn't really a huge amount but if we are too smart to place it in the right investment, we can possibly double it in a shorter time. Only we need to focus on our plan and make a decision that could really help to grow it. Though we say that we can afford to lose it, however, it wasn't the thing we aiming for but to increase it.

That’s already a lot of money for me and I couldn’t think on spending this one as a whole in cryptocurrency since I’m just a poor guy here and I have to create more source of income.

I’m not into trading that much, so I’ll spend my $3,000.00 to buy ETH, BTC and BNB, the rest of the $1,000.00 I’ll spend to do business that can generate daily profit to me to support my daily needs. If you have that kind of money, you have to think for what’s good for you and know your edge into this market.

If I have that much money, I would probably put it all in bitcoin since I want to hodl bitcoin in the long term and knowing that bitcoin can grow exponentially and with the charts to prove it, I think that putting it in bitcoin is going to be most profitable. Maybe if there is some promising altcoins, I might stake some money on it.

There so much valuable coin out there, but which of those coins do you know to actually be valuable? Those has real use and long term value.
$4k is quite a lot of money, invest wisely. Buy the rumor, sell the news! But, Always do your own research.

you don't like coins/tokens that are too volatile? coins that have high volatility like Bitcoin are those that can give you more profits than stable ones. Or you can also buy Binance, I see bnb tokens have a chance to touch $ 1k.

I would advise leaving 2000usd in Bitcoin and another 2000 to distribute between BNB and DOT, because I see that DOT has a lot of publicity and many investors believe that it will rise a lot in price, of course I also trust the technical analysis given in Cointelegraph, they have been quite right:

And bnb is growing steeply, it might be a good time to invest to see new highs.

If ever I have that large amount of money, I will use this capital in different altcoins in which I know it would really give a nice profit in the future. And one of this are Rev, Pundix, Matic, Corx,  Bsc, Utk, and more that has a development now in the market.

This is a bit personal isn't? I mean we are talking about something that depends from person to person. For example I wouldn't even invest 4 million dollars into bitcoin if I had that, but if I had 400 million dollars maybe then I will invest 4 million into bitcoin, at that point I wouldn't be even doing anything with my money anyway, I might be too busy just enjoying life to invest into anything really. Like I previously suggested, the potential of Binance coin should not be underestimated, the project is steadily developing to becoming a force in the industry. Their blockchain is been rapidly accepted by most new upcoming project and previous exiting projects are migrating to their blockchain.

And it's better to divide that $1,000 into 2-3 parts at least and invest every part of your capital into one different thing, like with one part of it you could invest in one of the DeFi projects, with the other invest in one of the oracles and invest the rest in one of the privacy coins that have a bright future in your opinion, that way you will be diversified enough and you also will have enough capital left to be able to dollar cost average your coins/tokens which will ultimately removes unnecessary risk even if crypto happens to enter another bear market while you're invested in it.

I think for me that $4,000 is already a lot and he can diversify with as much as he can but I would agree with you that it doesn't mean that he should diversify too much. I've crossed out the other 6 cryptos that I would remove from that choice.
And the other four that are good enough for me and would probably put $1,000 per each of them as this time based from what I see on the market.

This is not an investment suggestion but I would buy eth of that money, convert them to Beth and hold on binance. Right now this is the safest and might be the best investment anyone could do because eth is on the verge of explosion.

However just to make sure I will probably buy a business building, those do worth a lot here, usually they are like 4 stories tall or maybe 3 to 5 in some places but 3 story is too small and 5 is usually too expensive. I will get a 4 story tall one and probably a very modern looking one, get the inside done very professionally (not the items but the buildings inside) and just rent that out to companies, that would yield at least 20k per month easily, and I can live with that without spending any other dime, I could get like maybe 2 of these, that means I could actually get super rich.

I know it is not crypto related but why must it be crypto related, then I could use the income to buy more crypto anyway because I will make more than I could spend, I am not making 20k in a year now so making that in a month will allow me to go back into crypto.

From the little experience have hard from cryptocurrency I won't really advise you to invest all the money in Cryptocurrency I believe from the money you can just invest like 50% of your total fund incase if anything goes wrong. I have reason to suggest he/ she invest just 50% in Cryptocurrency anything can happen cryptocurrency is very volatile and anything can happen at anything in Cryptocurrency there is nothing like sure coin anything can happen to any coin at anytime so you don't have to invest all your funds there.

Even cryptocurrencies are highly volatile, I will encourage anyone if they want to invest their all 100% capital in bitcoins only. At least you are picking decent coins but I do not know if it is such a good idea to put your money in equal parts in those coins, especially dogecoin, we know that it is a good coin in order to make fast and cheap transactions but even if it has given good profits lately we know this does not have the tendency to last and most likely it will go down strongly during the next weeks so it does not seem as if it is the best coin where you could possibly invest.

$4000 when i posted this maybe i buy bitcoin, and BNB, or maybe TKO, any coin that dumped but backed up with big exchanges. Maybe about the exchanges closed it can possibly happen but maybe not for now. That is why if the coin still used, needed, people will still buy it.

Now if i had 4000 usd on my Crypto wallet then i try to Buy some Good Coin for Long and Short term investment. 4000 USD is not a small Amount and a Good Invertor can make good amount through this Fund. I will advice like a newbie.  If I were holding $4000 as a capital for investment in Cryptocurrency,  I will invest that fund in bitcoin in three phrases base on 15,.25 and 60 percentages!  The bitcoin is at the highest and it could go further up in price or,  dump 50%. Or even dump further more.  I will make sure I  use planned percentage of my fund in each of these situations!

So, supposing I have a lot of money (4,000 USD is a lot of money), it means I also have a budget for my personal requirements. I'm absolutely going to go for long-term currencies like ADA or BNB; these two altcoins will definitely dominate, especially now that BNB is recovering, and ADA is basically a steady currency; if it's uptrending, it'll keep uptrending.

$4k isn't a small amount and by this amount, I'll be able to choose some crypto. But my first choice will be bnb as it is promising and potential. As an alternative choose I might choose eth or bitcoin. Both are profitable as a long term investment. Actually it depends on which coin you are focusing for to get profit.

There are tons of coins for making investments. all of them are not good. You need to do huge research to find out profitable coins. It's a very hard task, for this I suggest buying some top-rated coins with good volume/liquidity. Personally, I suggest buying Ethereum, Cardano, Tron, EOS, Matic, Tomochain, Algo, GRT, LUNA, Atom, and sum gems like NWC, NFT, FTM, etc. Before making any investment don't forget to do your own research.

for $4000, I'd probably choose just 1 coin, which is BNB. i believe that the potential of BNB can be the same as ethereum. nowadays, you can't buy 1 ethereum for $4k, but a few years ago, it cost the same as BNB, and you could have a lot of it for $4k.

$4000 is a good amount to make some investment. Personally, I suggest buying 6-8 coins with this amount. Ada, BNB, Link, Dot, Tomocahin, CRV, DIA, SXP,  etc is my choice for this. BNB is also my 2nd personal choice next to Bitcoin simply because its network is better than ETH and this coin has been proving us its potential for years. If would 4000$ i would invest in 3 big coins.
First 50% i would buy Eth. Its tops coin and if gas fee problems solved, manybnew project will launch here. I would expecting 2x to 5x in long term here.
Second I would buy 30% ADA. Smart contract noyt yet released but very powerful project. I would expect 30x - 50x in ling term.
Third i would buy Blok token. Not yet listed on binance. very strong idea . i expect 10x-20x from here.

If I have first of all I will divide this portfolio in parts then invest according to market movement like after following trends and make every buying in dip so this thing give me good return

4000 USD like usual, i will use it to long term on bitcoin and the rest maybe 30%/40% is for altcoins. Cryptocurrencies market always decorative and always entering newly projects everyday. If I had 4000 dollars in my personal wallet then I invest on Bitcoin, Ethereum and Binance coin . Then rest amounts of my dollars invest on Shiba Inu and dogecoin project.

I already have plan how to handle my capital and which one is for buy. Although I'm planning for $2000.00 only as i don't have that much in reality. I would like to investment half of my fund $1000. Mostly on bnb as well as matic and few for others. And $1000 for dip. And i want to invest $40-50 for fun i means on meme coins like shiba or doge. If I have 4000 USD then I will invest all in bitcoin since that's the only coin I trust in. I wont buy it at one price rather I will gather it via DCA. Since I have tried all methods and find out that DCA is one of most secure strategy for bitcoin. Second option can be invest 3000 in Bitcoin and remaining 1000 in Eth.

If I have 4000.00 USD, I will not invest it all I will invest 90% of it then the remaining 10% will be save, because I cannot invest all what I  have because you have many things you need which you have to be using this 10% to cover, then the remaining 90%  will not be invest in one coin I will  divide it into 3 and purchase three different coin to reduce the risk of losing the remaining 90%

The current position shows that where you invest you will get benefited. I would like to invest in a few coins at this time - Ariva and Raca seemed to me the most potential. I know most would say bitcoin as their first choice of investment but comparing it to other crypto coins I dont think the return on income is attractive for me to pick bitcoin. This one is a good strategy too don't make an investment only in a single basket because once this coin makes drop you loss most of your asset. Also good to not investing most of these assets. It's good to recover when we lose the large amount of the percentage as possible make a trading plan will serve as a guide to control the unexpected situation like down trend, rug pulls and etc.as possible percent making an investment with unknown coins it's a risky thing not all the time it creates a good value.

If I have 4.000USD right now and I must turn it into crypto investment, here are what I want:

well, trading may be very risky but I like it and hopefully can earn profits even only for small profits. no problem.
But I  will not take trading that is very high risks such as in Future or using hype coins for trading.

If you think you are still a beginner, $4000 is too big amount of money to use. Is this your first time buying crypto coins? Learn first how crypto market works, then you can decide to use a bigger amount of money. Regarding what crypto coins to buy, you are better to start buying top coins that already have big market caps such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, or BNB coin. If I were you, 50% of my funds will be put on Bitcoin, and 50% I will invest in Ethereum and BNB coins.

If you say in 2021, not now, of course i would put all that $4000 in ethereum and doge, At that time I thought the two coins could still be said to be cheap and affordable, even though they had crawled to a certain level, while Bitcoin had almost reached its highest peak.

For that with the money that is worth $4000, it is still very worth investing in the coins I mentioned, that's my thought, other people i don't know, maybe they have other better idea than me.
