We ship from a Eastern European country.

Shipping can take from 1 to 5 weeks (on average) depending on the country we ship to (we use Registered Air Mail in order to keep the shipping fees as low as possible).

I don't think there would be a need for hiding your identity unless you were selling counterfeit cigarettes.

There are reasons for this.

When you receive a package containing cigarettes from another country, you should pay taxes according to your country laws. These taxes will obviously raise the price of the cigarettes. You will end up paying for a pack the same price as in your country. There are ways to avoid this. We are not the first company out there, who sells online tax free cigarettes.

We will gladly share our information to a customer in a private discussion.

I've read stories of the tax man sending a bill to USA residents who order cigarettes online. Does anyone know how the state finds out? Voluntary from buyer, customs, credit card statements, voluntary from seller?

Can you get Ritz?

If you can provide Djarum Black Clove Cigarettes for Bitcoin, you will probably see an increase in business.  They were made illegal in the United States last year and a friend of mine has been purchasing them directly from India.  He has to give his credit card info to some shady bali-pay site right now when he orders his cigs.  If you start carrying that brand, I'll give him your info.

Those brands are country specific (France, UK and United States) so, it is very unlikely to have them. We will have some updates in the closest future and more international brands will be added to our catalog.


I can't give you an exact answer about tobacco. It is more likely that we will not be able to work with that line of products.

Just FYI regarding pipe tobacco; its actually not so much a matter of price. Taxes are surprisingly low on it here; 50g of some of the better pipe tobacco like Alsbo Black costs like 6 euro. 50g lasts me a week or more and Im a pretty hardcore pipe smoker. Problem is that its pretty damn hard to find.

That is indeed true. Taxes are usually low on pipe tobacco in most of the countries.

It is not illegal to ship them. And as far as we know, as from 2010, packages containing up to 200 cigarettes, are officially exempted from taxes in USA.
If you read our shop Terms and Conditions and FAQ, you will get an idea about the shipping process.

Anyway, seeing as you have lots of marlboro on your site, any chance you could get marlboro 27s?  My buddy is interested in saving some dough but he don't handle da bitcoin.

Clove cigarettes are legal within the US.  What they made illegal was the ability to sell them within the US.  In fact, it is still possible to buy clove "cigars" made with a filter, but they aren't the same.

We added a new product. Chesterfield cigarettes are available now at our store.

Sweden could be a very big market for you. A pack of cigarettes is about 2 BTC here, so a carton for 7 BTC is a great catch with free shipping. Customs could be a problem of course, receiving cigarettes by mail from other countries is not allowed. However, a single carton should be sufficiently small and light to not be inspected, especially if it's coming from another country in the European Union.

You should consider some advertising on Swedish websites.

Btw, your site says you ship to Germany but it's not possible to select it during checkout.

Btw, does your website update btc pricing depending on current exchange rate? it seems the btc price haven't changed to reflect the price movements.

If you're shipping to USA you should probably factor in the sin tax and tariff yourself, sites like this are under major scrutiny by the ATF here.

I placed an order with bitcoincigarettes.com on the 23/12/2011 and completed payment the same day, it's now 07/02/2012 and still nothing. I emailed them January 9th as I had still not received the "email notification will be sent to you, once the package is delivered to the mail carrier."

On January 10th I received the following email:

Having still not received the item by January 30th I sent another email stating that the item in question had not yet arrived and attached my original order and confirmation of payment, asking what steps would be taken next. I am yet to receive a response to that email, and am posting here as a result of that.

Sorry for the late response. Some of the orders encountered some problems related to the mail carrier. Because of this we stoped our activity and currently are working on changing the mail carrier and solving the issue. The packages that had problems should arrive. If there will be some problems with them we will re-send the packages!

I find it rather strange that I only received a reply to my email, sent on 30/01/2012, after I posted here on the forums about my issue.
I'm glad to see I'm not alone, but also unhappy that others are experiencing the same lackluster service.

They also accept credit cards along with bitcoin as methods of payment so I'd be more inclined to trust them - especially with the rather significant issues that bitcoincigarettes.com seem to be experiencing.

In light of other posts here, I'm not holding out hope that my order from bitcoincigarettes.com will arrive - I am personally of the opinion that I've been take for a ride by some unscrupulous individuals, but I'm more the fool for trusting them. I will wait another week as mentioned in the email to me before declaring this to be yet another (this time successful) attempt at scamming Bitcoin users out of their coin.

Yes, I ordered several times before, for me and for some friends and I got them, only the last order, 2x10 packs of Camel's, still haven't come. And it's been a month already.

This is one of the many problems with BTC. with anonymity, it is easy to build up trust and then cash in on that trust and take off. Plus you also dont know if people got arrested, run over or abducted by aliens.

stores need to use an escrow service. and you shouldnt trust one that doesnt. Look at silkroad. IT has a high potential for abuse. It deals in illegal items, items people dont go to the police over not getting or getting  wrong. Drugs are expensive. But silkroad has stood the test of time and have operated with little problems since it started.(ok some but not really like we get with this crap)

THey escrow. dealers dont get paid until buyers get their product. Yes there are various issues with this method as well. People can simply say they didnt receive a proper product(you can verify they received the mail), but that limits the scams and number of scams. AN escrow service might believe a trustworthy vender over a buyer most of the time, but he wouldnt trust the vender over 100 pissed off buyers.


Every new store needs to use third party escrow or simply dont use them, dont fall for this shit that is way cheaper than you can get it. It is only actually cheaper, if you actually get the product.

I tried to order. PM the owner on here and asked what was taking so long for just the order verification. He told me it was do to "carrier" issues which is shipping and that I would be notified when they got it sorted.

I never sent bit coins since I never got a order confirmation with an address to send them too. I feel like I dodged a bullet on this one.

If the site is still accepting orders then perhaps taking action to get them shut down is appropriate.

The site is hosted through KalyHost (owned by Tibanne, which owns Mt. Gox) so if anyone has proof that this site is still taking orders (i.e., sending out the e-mail with the bitcion address) then an appeal to KalyHost might be something to at least stop others from losing their money.

i have buy 3 pack of cigarettes in cigs.eu, and i received 1 pack they are 3 weeks, and today i received the 2 last packs, and in cigs.eu, they are more cheaps than bitcoincigarettes and the package have a number like recommander letter if you dont received your pack they can know where is your packs,
just one defaut, it's really long to received your cigarettes, me i passed my command the 26/01 and i received them today the 25/02/12

If it is us you ask, it depends on the brand. As a general rule, they are all produced in Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Moldova, Ukraine, etc.)

Checked out the site, is there no faster shipping option? A month is a very long time.

It is not necessarily one month - it just can last up to 4-5 weeks. Some of our customers received their orders in under one week. No alternative shipping option for now, sorry!

I have been getting my cigarettes from tobaccocapital.com they ship out of Missouri. You can pay by bitcoin just wanted to share. They have worldwide free shipping.
