I start developing an interest in Boxing and UFC matches when I visited a relative, he is so into these types of sports and he seems to know a lot about it, by I have to keep myself from asking him what and what I should do to know more about such sports, I have this in mind to be able to make some bets or gamble on such sports, my problem is I don't know how, if anyone is into such sports where should I begin? Any special UFC or Boxing platform where I can read news and updates about such sports?

How do you bet on such games? What are the things to be on the lookout for? Because I believe this is different from football ⚽, I also don't have access to satellite dish like my relative does, this is how he is able to get the best out of these sports.

Depending on how he takes it serious, actually I wasn't good in sports most especially football but sometimes I began to develop interest  what do I do at this point?
I noticed I can't be going out of my house to seat out there watching matches and learning how those matches are being played all I did was to go get Gotv and install in my house thinking that would be the best, after few months a friend of mine came in and said you need to upgrade to DStv for me to be carrying all matches along that gotv only Carry's some highlights and few matches. At this point what do I do, I went out go get a DStv dish and installed presently now I watches most of the live matches and I understand more better than the way it was. I can bet and place my favorite team to win or not.

It is funny because DSTV is only available to African countries.

What I know is that it is what you know that you will want to gamble with, gamblers have that mentality. The buttom line is interest and passion like I have said earlier. In your case if you had not developed interest you wouldn't have moved out to better your viewing experience and knowledge on the games to better your gambling. You don't need a satellite dish to be able to get latest news, having access to the internet is more than good enough imo.

PPV subscription is expensive for many people, so my assumption small gamblers who bet on boxing or UFC are watching from other people shared in social media e.g. facebook or twitter, though this is illegal lol. I do know usually DAZN will give an up to date boxing match in each round and they also try give their own scorecard, but I don't really know with UFC.

Maybe many gamblers are watching the replay rather than watch the live.

start reading and posting in the ce UFC and Boxing sections, because when you read some member posts in this section you will be curious to google the fighters they are talking about and how every day you are reading comments about various fights and fighters and always research to find out more about the subject being discussed so you start to gain a lot of knowledge about UFC and Boxing, please note that it is not advisable to place a bet based on someone else's prediction, you should read the comments for acquire knowledge

now about the betting part, betting on a game is not easy and in each sport there is a basic and common way to do analysis which consists of analyzing the last 5 fights or 5 last games or 5 last race if it is a car race like F1 for For example, in the case of UFC and Boxing, you can watch several videos of the two fighters in their last 5 fights, you can read predictions on websites, read comments on YouTube, so you start to have an idea of who to bet on, of course there are also many markets within a game as well as in a fight when the person is going to place a bet, you have to do research to find out whether to bet that fighter X will win or bet on knockout in the 1st round, in the end it will depend on your analysis

I am not an expert at it but if you ask me what I would do is I search online about it and compare it to other information I found on the internet. I think I am in the same page with you, I discovered UFC games and picked interested in it, I wished to place bets on the games but lacked knowledge of how or who to bet on any time a game is on, and like you, I tried to see if I could follow the game on TV, but the satellite dish I have does not have the facilities to show UFC matches, I am planning on upgrading to a better one that have the facilities to show all of this games.

There is a dedicated UFC game thread in the gambling discussion board, you can locate the thread and join the conversation there, you will perhaps, learn alot about UFC games from there if you are consistent and very active there. For me, I followed for a while and then lost interest, simply because, I currently do not have means through which I could watch the games live, I wil probably pick interest back as soon as i upgrade my satellite dish.

I suggest you to not do anything simply because someone you know is doing it well, if you're really interested in UFC and boxing matches then start watching them and lot of podcasts about them also going side by side before the matches which will give you some information but these all are just information and at the end of the day it's about the probability of winning the bet so keep that in my mind.

I think every match is streaming online so you can watch it on websites itself for free or third party websites if the site needs subscription, I am not forcing you or encouraging anyone to do it but myself not really that kind to pay for watching something online just for entertainment.

If you do not have access to satellite dish then how about your smart phone? Can you not watch with it? Most of the fights can be streamlined and if possible it could be downloaded why not take a step to downloading the matches of boxers so you could watch them.

South Park, I quite agree with you on the fact that it requires a lot of time and effort to become well knowledge on any subject matter and it may take months to years and running into several seasons of follow-up before one could become well-informed and familiar with any sporting events and boxing in particular is a cumbersome game since it involved only one individual athletes.

Well, in sports betting, never rejoice until the one you bet wins.  There is a thread here where a guy losses a huge amount of money even though he bet on the leading team. First of all, you should bet on the sports on which you have an interest, and at the same time you can watch the matches live or have access to the score etc. Since you recently gain interest in Boxing, you first check Google to know about the upcoming matches. What I found Odd here is that why prevent your self from asking your cousin directly since you mentioned that he is at this in long and having good at it?

UFC seems to be hype in my neighborhood. For UFC you can find out more on their official website like ufc.com, because usually the official website of the sport in question will provide a lot of useful information so we can increase our knowledge about the sport and also the full match schedule will be available there along with reviews every fighter that will fight, I always do this in other sports.

You are right, and this is one of the major reasons why gamblers betting based on odds always tend to lose far more bets than the win, like when i was still very new to sports betting, i did know much about any type of sports since  I wasn't really into watching sports and all that, but i was still very eager to bet, so what i always do was to just follow the crowd, that is i pay attention to the odds, i will always bet on the team that is getting the most bets from the crowd, as i always assumed that that is the team that will win, at the end, i still lose most of those bets.
